Quick answers — read this first
What is the lowest price I can quote? Your landed materials cost is ₹177.00 a candle at 500 units. Your floor is that figure plus every cost CSI does not sell — packaging, outbound delivery, your labour — plus the contribution the job has to earn. This page gives you the first number exactly and leaves the rest as blanks you fill, because no honest figure for them exists here. What it will not do is tell you what to charge.

Does my raw-material rate actually fall at 500 candles? Barely, and on one line it rises. Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 steps from ₹650.00 a kilogram in the 500 g and 1 kg packs to ₹637.00 in the 5 kg and 10 kg packs — worth ₹1.02 a candle on this fill. Juicy Orange is ₹7.49 a gram in the 100 g pack and ₹7.50 in the 1 kg, so the largest pack is fractionally dearer per gram, not cheaper. The tin has one pack size and the Thin (C1) wick is ₹5.90 at every pack.

So what is the quantity discount I can pass on? The one CSI publishes is an order-value code, not a quantity break: YAY10 takes 10% off an order over ₹20,000. On this ₹87,711.20 materials bill that is ₹8,771.12, or ₹17.54 a candle. Splitting the freight sensibly is worth a further ₹2,600.00. Those two are real. A falling rate per kilogram, at this store, mostly is not.

What do I offer if the client still wants a lower number? Everything except price, first. One scent instead of five across the 500 saves ₹5.23 a candle in fragrance alone. A three-week lead time lets the materials arrive in a planned set of consignments rather than whatever is quickest. Part-advance converts your working-capital risk into theirs. Plain packing removes a row you were carrying. Each is worth real money and none of it touches your contribution.
The short answer
₹87,711.20 of materials, ₹175.42 a candle: four 10 kg packs of Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468, 3.15 kg of Juicy Orange bought as 100 g and 50 g packs, 42 packs of Tin Containers 85 gram and 500 Thin (C1) wicks.
₹177.00 a candle landed: the published YAY10 code takes the materials to ₹157.88 a candle, and the freight on five consignments adds ₹19.12.
The floor is yours to finish: landed materials plus your packaging, outbound delivery and labour, plus the contribution the job must earn. The three quote steps below are illustrative.

What it shows: three quote steps at 500 units, drawn on one rupee scale. The solid block is the landed materials cost of ₹177.00 a candle — four 10 kg wax packs, 3.15 kg of fragrance in 100 g and 50 g packs, 42 tin packs and 500 wicks, after the published YAY10 order-value code and with freight on four consignments added. It is identical on every step, which is the point: the materials do not move when the quote does. The grey block is contribution, and the ₹200.00, ₹150.00 and ₹100.00 figures are illustrative, not recommendations. Deliberately left out: packaging, printing, outbound delivery to the client, breakage and your own labour, none of which are CSI products — they sit inside the grey block and this page will not size them for you.
Straight answer
How do I work out the lowest price I can quote a corporate client for 500 candles?
Build it from the bottom, in this order: landed materials, then your own blank rows, then the contribution the job has to earn. Only the first of those is a CSI number, and here it is in full. The vessel is Tin Containers 85 gram, whose listing publishes an 85 g fill weight, so this page reads the 85 g as the finished candle rather than the wax alone: at an 8% load that is 78.70 g of wax and 6.30 g of oil, and that is the reading carried throughout. On Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 at ₹637.00 a kilogram and Juicy Orange at ₹7.49 a gram, with the tin at ₹70.80 and a Thin (C1) wick at ₹5.90, one candle is ₹173.99 of materials. Bought in the pack sizes that actually exist, 500 of them come to ₹87,711.20, or ₹175.42 a candle — the gap is leftover stock, not waste. Apply the published YAY10 code and the materials fall to ₹157.88 a candle; add the freight on five consignments and the landed figure is ₹177.00. Now the part your client will ask about. There is no quantity ladder to hand them: the wax steps once, from ₹650.00 to ₹637.00 a kilogram at the 5 kg pack, which is ₹1.02 a candle, and the fragrance is fractionally dearer per gram in its largest pack than in its 100 g one. What is real is the order-value code at ₹17.54 a candle, the freight arithmetic at ₹2,600.00 across the order, and the non-price levers — one scent instead of five is ₹5.23 a candle. Your floor is ₹177.00 plus your packaging, your outbound delivery, your labour and the contribution you need. This page will give you the ladder and the arithmetic; the number you quote is yours.
One line: ₹177.00 landed at 500 units, and the discount your client expects is a spend code rather than a falling rate.

The candle first: 85 g, and which 85 g

A quote built on the wrong fill reading is wrong by eight rupees a candle before anything else happens.

Before any price, fix the candle. The vessel here is Tin Containers 85 gram, sold in packs of twelve, and its listing publishes an 85 g fill weight — one of the few CSI vessels that publishes a gram figure at all. That figure is a fill weight, so this page reads it as the weight of the finished candle, wax and fragrance together, rather than the weight of the wax alone.

A fragrance load is a percentage of wax weight, which makes the split a small piece of algebra rather than a subtraction. The fill is wax plus 8% of wax, or 1.08 lots of wax, so divide 85 g by 1.08 and the wax is 78.70 g, with 6.30 g of oil on top. Taking 8% off 85 g instead gives 6.80 g of oil and 78.20 g of wax, which is an 8.7% load — above where you meant to be and, on a 500-candle run, a formulation difference you would rather not discover during a burn test.

Read the same 85 g as a wax weight instead and the candle is 91.80 g of fill — 85 g of wax and 6.80 g of oil — and the materials cost rises from ₹173.99 to ₹181.78, a difference of ₹7.78 a candle or ₹3,891.74 across the order. Both are arithmetically correct; only one of them fits a tin whose listing publishes an 85 g fill. This page carries the first reading, states it here, and restates it wherever the figure is used. Whichever you choose, write it at the top of the quote and do not change it halfway.

Live CSI pricing, September 2026, taxes included. Figures are displayed rounded to the paisa and multiplied unrounded, so an order total can sit a rupee or two from the per-candle figure times five hundred.

One note on the load, because the two published limits point in the same direction here. The Juicy Orange page states 8 to 10% in soy wax; the Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 page states a maximum of 13% of total wax weight. Where a wax ceiling and an oil range differ, the lower one governs, so 10% is the limit on this pairing and 8% is the bottom of the oil's own stated range. That matters commercially: there is very little room to cut the fragrance line to fund a discount without dropping below the range the oil page publishes. Going the other way, to 10%, adds 1.57 g of oil and ₹11.79 a candle.

The CSI principle
Fix the fill before you fix the price.
The same 85 g read two ways is ₹173.99 or ₹181.78 — ₹3,891.74 across a five-hundred-unit quote.

Buying for five hundred, in packs that exist

Five hundred candles is 39.35 kg of wax and 3.15 kg of fragrance. Neither is a pack size.

At 78.70 g of wax and 6.30 g of oil a candle, 500 candles need 39,351.85 g of wax and 3,148.15 g of fragrance, plus 500 tins and 500 wicks. The wax comes in 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg packs and the 5 kg and 10 kg are the same rate, so 40 kg is the sensible buy — four 10 kg packs, or any mix of 5 kg and 10 kg packs, ₹25,480.00 either way, leaving 648.15 g over. Confirm pack availability before you commit to a date; a consignment this size is worth a message on WhatsApp rather than a hopeful basket.

The fragrance is the interesting line, because the ladder does not do what a 500-unit order assumes. Juicy Orange runs ₹8.40 a gram at 15g, ₹7.58 at 50g, ₹7.49 at 100g, ₹7.50 at 500g and ₹7.50 at 1kg. The cheapest rung is the 100 g pack. Buying 3,150 g as thirty-one 100 g packs and one 50 g pack costs ₹23,598.00; building the same 3,150 g around three 1 kg packs costs ₹23,625.00. The kilogram-led route is ₹27.00 dearer for identical contents. Twenty-seven rupees across 500 candles is five paise each and is not the point. The point is that the ladder did not fall, and a quote built on the assumption that it would is a quote built on air.

Live CSI pricing, September 2026, taxes included. The published order-value codes are HAPPY5 at 5% over ₹5,000, BIZWIZ8 at 8% over ₹12,000 and YAY10 at 10% over ₹20,000 — discounts on the value of the basket, not breaks on any rate. The sheet assumes zero wastage and no spares beyond the four tins the pack size happens to leave, which is an assumption and not a measurement.

Two figures in that sheet deserve separating, because conflating them is how a quote quietly loses money. ₹175.42 is what the basket costs divided by the candles it makes. ₹173.99 is what the candles actually consume, with the 648 g of wax, the 1.85 g of oil and the four spare tins credited back as stock. The difference is ₹714.44. If this client repeats, the leftovers are genuinely stock and ₹173.99 is the right figure to quote from. If this is a one-off in a scent you will never pour again, the leftovers are a cost and ₹175.42 is the honest one. Decide which before you send the quote, not after.

Promising a rate that falls with volume because the client expects it to. On these four products the entire quantity effect is ₹1.02 a candle — the Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 step from ₹650.00 to ₹637.00 a kilogram, which is reached at the 5 kg pack and goes no further at 10 kg. The fragrance is marginally dearer per gram in its largest pack. The tin has a single pack size. The wick is one rate at every pack. If you have quoted 500 units on the strength of an imagined bulk rate, you are funding the difference from contribution for the whole run.
Ordering 500 tins and receiving 504. Pack sizes are whole numbers and 500 is not a multiple of twelve. Forty-two packs give you 504 tins, which is four spares — thin cover on a run this size. One review of the tins notes that some arrive slightly dented and that the lid can be stiff after the candle is poured; both are worth planning for on a corporate order where every unit is inspected. Decide your spare allowance deliberately, price it at ₹70.80 a tin, and put it on the sheet as your own figure rather than discovering it on the last morning.
The discount that actually exists. The published YAY10 code takes 10% off an order over ₹20,000 — on this ₹87,711.20 basket that is ₹8,771.12, or ₹17.54 a candle. Splitting the consignments to sit inside the published weight bands is worth a further ₹2,600.00. Neither is a quantity break, and saying so plainly to a corporate buyer tends to make the rest of the quote more believable, not less. Ask on WhatsApp for pack availability and the delivery figure before you quote.
Shop fragrance oils

Five consignments, because one is not allowed

The whole order weighs 110.4 kg. No published band goes past fifty.

Freight on an order this size is not a rounding error and it cannot be waved at. Read the stored packed weights rather than the sizes on the labels: each 10 kg pack of Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 stores 11 kg, each pack of twelve tins stores 1.5 kg, each 100 g of Juicy Orange stores 0.1 kg and the 500-wick pack stores 0.2 kg. The whole order is 110.4 kg. The heaviest published band on the store stops at 50 kg, so this cannot travel as one consignment and no figure for doing so exists.

Split it, and the splits are worth thinking about because the published bands do not rise smoothly with weight. The wax is 44 kg: as one consignment it falls in the Under 50 kg Expedited Shipping band at ₹4,000.00, and as four separate 11 kg parcels it would bill ₹4,800.00 — so consolidating the wax saves ₹800.00. The tins are 63 kg, which also has to split. Two parcels of 31.5 kg each bill ₹3,500.00 apiece, ₹7,000.00 in all. Three parcels of 24 kg, 24 kg and 15 kg bill ₹2,000.00, ₹2,000.00 and ₹1,200.00 — ₹5,200.00 in all. Splitting the same 63 kg into three rather than two is worth ₹1,800.00, and the only reason is where the band edges sit.

Priced above: the published flat weight bands in force in September 2026, read at the stored packed weight of each variant. The Expedited bands used here publish the transit wording "3 Days Within Maharashtra, (4-5 days Rest of India)" and the Standard bands publish "Delivery in 10-12 Days". Rates are merchant-set flat rates and can change. Nothing above 50 kg has a published band, so no figure for a single 110.4 kg consignment is given or estimated.

Add it up and inbound freight is ₹9,560.00, or ₹19.12 a candle, against a materials cost after the order-value code of ₹157.88. That is 12.11% on top, and it is the single largest thing most quotes leave out. Two reviews on the store say the delivery charges are high. That is a fair criticism and the honest response is not to hide the figure but to put it in the quote, consolidate where the bands reward it and split where they punish it, and ask CSI for the number before you commit to a price rather than after.

CHECK THE BAND, NOT THE INSTINCT
Bigger is not automatically cheaper and smaller is not automatically dearer. On this order consolidating the wax into one 44 kg consignment saves ₹800.00, and splitting the tins into three parcels rather than two saves ₹1,800.00. Both are true at the same time because the published prices step rather than slope. Put your actual stored packed weights into the calculation every time; never carry a rule of thumb from one order to the next.
A quantity discount you cannot show on a product page is a discount you are funding yourself.

Building the quote floor, and the ladder above it

The floor is arithmetic. The price is a decision. Keep them in separate columns.

Landed materials are ₹177.00 a candle: ₹157.88 after the order-value code, plus ₹19.12 of inbound freight. That figure is solid, checkable and entirely made of CSI prices and published bands. Everything above it is yours. Printed labels, an outer for each candle, the corporate insert the client will almost certainly want, the courier leg to their office, breakage in transit, your own hours across five hundred pours — none of those are CSI products and this page will not put a number in any of them. Fill them in on your own sheet, add them to ₹177.00, and you have a true cost. The contribution you then add is the part nobody can compute for you.

What a quote ladder does is make that last step deliberate. Instead of one number the client can only accept or push against, you give three, and each lower step is paid for with something that is not money. The figures below use illustrative contribution targets of ₹200.00, ₹150.00 and ₹100.00 a candle purely to show the shape — they are not recommendations and your own targets will differ.

A three-step ladder · illustrative contribution targets
Each step down is bought with something other than price
Step What the client gives Contribution per candle Quote per candle Contribution on 500
Opening Nothing — the standard offer ₹200.00 (illustrative) ₹377.00 ₹1,00,000.00
Second One scent across all 500, three-week lead time ₹150.00 (illustrative) ₹327.00 ₹75,000.00
Floor Part-advance, plain packing, firm delivery window ₹100.00 (illustrative) ₹277.00 ₹50,000.00
Below the floor — Less than your blank rows — Decline
Landed materials, every step — — ₹177.00 ₹88,500.08
Priced above: the ₹177.00 landed materials figure is the ₹87,711.20 basket less the published YAY10 code, divided across 500 candles, plus ₹19.12 of inbound freight from the published bands in September 2026. The ₹200.00, ₹150.00 and ₹100.00 contribution targets are illustrative figures used to show the shape of a ladder and are not recommendations — your own target depends on costs CSI does not sell and cannot see. Labels, printing, outers, inserts, outbound delivery, breakage and labour are your figures and sit inside the contribution column, unfilled.

Three things make a ladder work rather than look like haggling. First, the steps have to be genuinely priced: each concession should be worth something you can name. Second, the floor has to be real — if you will walk away below it, say so in the quote, and if you will not, do not call it a floor. Third, the materials figure has to be identical on every step, because the moment you start recosting the candle to justify a lower price you have begun taking the difference out of quality. The dashed line in the diagram above is the same on all three bars for exactly that reason.

And be clear with yourself about what the contribution column is for. It is not profit. It has to cover the printing, the outers, the courier to the client, the breakage, your hours and whatever the business spends whether or not this order exists. A step that looks generous on the ladder can still leave nothing once those are paid. Fill the blanks in before you offer the third step, not after the client accepts it.

What to offer instead of a deeper cut

Four of these are worth real money. None of them costs you contribution.

One scent instead of five. This is the largest non-price lever on a corporate run and it is rarely asked for. Five hundred candles in one scent needs 3,150 g of Juicy Orange, bought as ₹23,598.00. The same 500 split across five scents needs about 700 g of each to cover pack rounding — 3,500 g in all, ₹26,215.00. The difference is ₹2,617.00, or ₹5.23 a candle, and it comes entirely from not buying part-packs you will not finish. A corporate buyer usually does not mind; a single scent often suits a gifting run better anyway.

Lead time. Three weeks rather than ten days lets you buy the materials in planned consignments that sit inside the published weight bands rather than whatever arrives quickest, and it lets the candles cure properly. Soy throw keeps developing well past a first test burn — the Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page itself says ideally one to two weeks — and 14 to 21 days is normal practice for a soy container candle. A corporate order delivered under-cured is a corporate order that does not repeat.

Part-advance. Five hundred candles means committing ₹87,711.20 of materials before a rupee arrives. An advance does not change your contribution by a paisa; it changes how much of your own working capital is standing in a corporate client's stockroom. It is the cheapest concession to ask for and the one most often forgotten. Plain packing. If the client is boxing the candles into their own hampers, the consumer-facing outer is a row you can remove — it is your figure, so only you know what it is worth. A firm delivery window. One delivery rather than three staggered ones is worth whatever your own courier charges, which is again your figure.

A different vessel. This one touches the cost side and should be used carefully. The 135 gram tin on the same listing is ₹96.76 against ₹70.80 for the 85 gram, so moving up a size adds ₹25.96 of tin plus the extra wax and fragrance. Moving down is not available on this listing. If the budget genuinely will not stretch, the honest conversation is about the size of the candle, agreed in the quote, rather than a quietly shallower pour.

Priced above: the ₹5.23 is ₹26,215.00 of Juicy Orange across five scents against ₹23,598.00 in one, divided by 500. The ₹1,800.00 and ₹800.00 are differences between published weight-band combinations in September 2026. The ₹8,771.12 is the published YAY10 code at 10% of the ₹87,711.20 basket. Working capital, packing, lead time and outbound delivery are not CSI products and are left as your figures. The five-scent split assumes 700 g bought for each scent to cover pack rounding, which is an illustrative assumption rather than a measured requirement.

Building your own floor, step by step

Six steps, and only the first four have numbers on this page.
1
1. Fix the fill and write it on the quoteDecide whether the vessel's published figure is wax or finished candle, and state it. Here 85 g is a published fill weight, so the split is 78.70 g of wax and 6.30 g of oil at 8%. Getting this wrong is worth ₹7.78 a candle on this tin — ₹3,891.74 across the run.
2
2. Multiply into grams and pieces, then into packsFive hundred candles is 39,351.85 g of wax, 3,148.15 g of fragrance, 500 vessels and 500 wicks. Only then look at pack sizes, and choose the combination that covers the requirement with the least left over. Write the leftover down as stock or as a cost, and be honest about which it is.
3
3. Read every ladder rather than assuming oneOn these four products that gives ₹650.00 and ₹637.00 a kilogram on Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468; ₹8.40, ₹7.58, ₹7.49, ₹7.50 and ₹7.50 a gram on Juicy Orange, where the 100 g pack is the cheapest rung; one pack size on the 85 gram tin; and ₹5.90 at every Thin (C1) wick pack. Whatever your products are, open their pages and read the variant prices before you quote.
4
4. Land it: order-value code, then freight by bandCheck the basket against the published thresholds of ₹5,000, ₹12,000 and ₹20,000, then work the consignments out from the stored packed weights. On this order that is ₹8,771.12 off and ₹9,560.00 on, giving ₹177.00 a candle landed. Now you have a floor that is made entirely of checkable numbers.
5
5. Add your own rows, and only then a contribution targetLabels, printing, outers, inserts, outbound delivery, breakage, labour. Put a real figure in each, even a rough one you will improve later — a blank left at zero is a decision to work for nothing. Then add the contribution the job has to earn. That sum, not the materials cost, is your floor.
6
6. Build the ladder before the call, not during itThree steps, each bought with a named concession, and a floor you are genuinely willing to walk away below. Write the contribution each step yields next to it so that you can see what you are giving away while the client is asking for it. A ladder decided in advance is the difference between negotiating and conceding.
Quoting before you know the freight. Inbound delivery on this order is ₹9,560.00, which is ₹19.12 a candle — larger than the entire quantity effect on the rate ladders, and larger than most makers' entire packaging budget. It is also the figure most easily forgotten, because it arrives as a separate line days after the basket is priced. Work it out from the stored packed weights before the quote goes out, and say plainly in the quote that rates are the published bands as at September 2026 and can change.
Letting a corporate deadline compress the cure. A gifting run is usually tied to a date — a festival, a conference, a financial year end. With Diwali 2026 falling on 8 November 2026, a candle that needs 14 to 21 days of cure plus your own delivery leg has to be poured by about mid-October, and the materials have to be in your workshop before that. If the client's date does not allow it, the thing to negotiate is the date, not the price. Shipping an under-cured candle to five hundred employees is the most expensive discount on this page.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA sells wax, fragrance oil, vessels and wicks, and the honest headline of this page is that the quantity discount your client is expecting mostly does not exist here. Across the four products costed, the entire effect of buying for 500 rather than for a handful is ₹1.02 a candle on the wax — and the fragrance oil is fractionally dearer per gram in its largest pack than in its 100 g one. What is real is a published order-value code worth ₹17.54 a candle and freight arithmetic worth ₹2,600.00 across the order, and both are available to anybody, at any volume. Saying that to a corporate buyer is better business than implying a ladder that is not on the product pages.

Every CSI price here is live stock in September 2026, taxes included, and the linked product pages are authoritative if anything changes. Fragrance load is a percentage of wax weight, as CSI product pages state it. The vessel's listing publishes an 85 g fill weight; this page reads that as finished candle, giving 78.70 g of wax and 6.30 g of oil at 8%, states so wherever the figure is used, and shows the alternative reading alongside. The Juicy Orange page states 8 to 10% in soy wax and IFRA certification; the Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 page states a maximum of 13% of total wax weight, a melting point of 50–53°C, a pour temperature of 58–60°C and a shelf life of 60 months; where a wax ceiling and an oil range differ the lower one governs. The published order-value codes quoted are HAPPY5 5% over ₹5,000, BIZWIZ8 8% over ₹12,000 and YAY10 10% over ₹20,000 — discounts on basket value, not quantity breaks, and no other discount is implied. Shipping figures are the published flat weight bands as at September 2026, read at the stored packed weight of each variant; nothing above 50 kg has a published band and none is estimated here. The ₹200.00, ₹150.00 and ₹100.00 contribution targets and the five-scent comparison are illustrative. The order sheet assumes zero wastage and no spares beyond the four tins the pack size leaves, which is an assumption and not measured data. Labels, printing, outers, inserts, courier to the client, breakage, labour, electricity and rent are not CSI products and are left blank. No tax, pricing-law or licensing advice is given — take that to your own adviser.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lowest price I can quote for 500 candles?
Nobody outside your business can answer that, and a page that does is guessing. What is knowable is the bottom of it: ₹177.00 a candle of landed CSI materials — ₹157.88 after the published YAY10 code, plus ₹19.12 of inbound freight. Add your own labels, outers, inserts, outbound delivery, breakage and labour, then the contribution the job has to earn, and the floor writes itself. The three steps shown on this page use illustrative contribution targets only.
Will CSI give me a better rate per kilogram if I order enough for 500 candles?
Not as a published ladder. Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 is ₹650.00 a kilogram at 500 g and 1 kg and ₹637.00 at 5 kg and 10 kg, and that is the whole of it — ₹13.00 a kilogram, or ₹1.02 on a 78.70 g candle. Juicy Orange is ₹7.49 a gram in its 100 g pack and ₹7.50 in its 1 kg, so the largest pack is not the cheapest. For a consignment beyond the published pack sizes, ask on WhatsApp rather than assuming.
How much does the fragrance line move if I go from 8% to 10%?
On this candle, 8% of 78.70 g is 6.30 g of oil and 10% is 7.87 g, so the fragrance line goes from ₹47.16 to ₹58.95 — ₹11.79 a candle, or ₹5,894.91 across 500. Check the ceiling before you move: the Juicy Orange page states 8 to 10% in soy wax and the CSI 468 page states a maximum of 13% of total wax weight, so 10% is the limit on this pairing and there is no headroom above it.
Why is inbound delivery five consignments and not one?
Because the order weighs 110.4 kg at the stored packed weights and the heaviest published band on the store stops at 50 kg. No rate covers a single consignment that size, so it travels as more than one and the split is worth choosing rather than accepting. On this order the wax goes best as one 44 kg consignment and the tins as three parcels rather than two, which together are worth ₹2,600.00 against the obvious alternatives.
Should I quote one price or a ladder?
A ladder, decided before the call. One number invites a push; three numbers turn the conversation into a trade, where each step down is bought with a scent restriction, a lead time or an advance rather than with your contribution. Write the contribution each step yields beside it so you can see what you are giving away as you give it. And name a floor you are genuinely willing to walk away below, or do not call it one.
What if the client wants the 500 candles in three weeks?
Then the negotiation is about the date. Five hundred candles is several pouring sessions, the materials have to reach you first as five consignments, and a soy container candle is normally cured 14 to 21 days — the Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page itself says ideally one to two weeks. Work backwards from the client's date through your delivery leg, the cure and the pours, to the day the materials must arrive. If that day is already past, say so early; a corporate order delivered under-cured costs far more than the order is worth.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The method — fix the fill reading, multiply into grams and pieces, buy in the pack sizes that exist, land the basket with published spend codes and published weight bands, add your own blank rows, and only then choose a contribution target — works with any supplier, any product and any currency. The ladder above the floor is a negotiating structure, not a calculation.
