Best Candle Fragrances for Small Bedrooms

A small bedroom is the one room in an Indian home where you can deliberately under-scent — and where over-scenting is the standard failure. Fifteen soft-register oils, the room-to-candle sizing table, 6% loads, and the flame-free options that are often the better product for a sleeping space.
₹1,896
four bedroom registers at 100g · ≈95 candles of 70g at a 6% load · CSI live pricing, August 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What candle fragrances suit a small bedroom? Soft registers, not statement scents. Wind-down: Lavender (₹540/100g), Lavender Cranberry Coconut (₹799), Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon (₹799), Vanilla Bean used sparingly (₹790). Soft floral: Japanese Cherry Blossom (₹500), Neroli (₹666), Ylang Ylang Flower (₹590), Raat Ki Rani for evenings (₹700). Quiet wood: Sandalwood (₹503), Sage and Cedarwood (₹696), Palo Santo (₹602), Santal Noir (₹919). Light fresh: Cucumber Green Tea (₹353), Verbena (₹590), Bergamot Amber (₹560).

What size candle for a small bedroom? 50–70g under 70 sq ft, 70–100g from 70–100 sq ft, 100–130g from 100–120 sq ft. A 200g living-room candle saturates a 10 × 10 ft bedroom in about twenty minutes, and textiles keep re-releasing it for days.

What fragrance load? Around 6%, not 8–10%. A 70g candle at 6% uses 4.2g of oil — a quarter of what a 200g living-room candle takes.

What should you avoid? Heavy ouds and bakhoors, strong gourmands, coffee and spice. All fine oils. All far too much across nine feet of enclosed air.
The short answer
The pick: Lavender, Cucumber Green Tea, Japanese Cherry Blossom and Sandalwood cover the four bedroom registers — wind-down, light fresh, soft floral and quiet wood — for ₹1,896 at 100g each.
The why: a small bedroom is a low-ventilation, textile-heavy, sleep-use room. Dose decides the outcome far more than fragrance family does.
The next step: size the candle to the floor area first (50–130g under 120 sq ft), drop the load to 6%, then choose the scent.
Small bedroom, in order — the room decides the candle, the candle decides the scent 1 — Measure the room: floor area, ceiling height, ventilation, soft furnishings 2 — Size the candle down: 50–130g under 120 sq ft, single thin wick 3 — Drop the load to about 6%, not 8–10% 4 — Only now choose the register 5 — Burn safely, or go flame-free
Fragrance choice is the last decision in this sequence, not the first. Almost every "this candle is too strong" complaint from a bedroom is a sizing and load problem wearing a fragrance problem's clothes.
Straight answer
Which candle fragrances are best for a small bedroom?
Four registers, and in a room under 120 square feet you only need one candle from each. Wind-down: Lavender (₹540/100g), Lavender Cranberry Coconut (₹799), Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon (₹799) and Vanilla Bean (₹790) used sparingly. Soft floral: Japanese Cherry Blossom (₹500), Neroli (₹666), Ylang Ylang Flower (₹590) and Raat Ki Rani (₹700) for an evening register. Quiet wood: Sandalwood (₹503), Sage and Cedarwood (₹696), Palo Santo (₹602) and Santal Noir (₹919). Light fresh: Cucumber Green Tea (₹353), Verbena (₹590) and Bergamot Amber (₹560). But the register is the second decision. The first is size: a 70g candle at a 6% load uses 4.2g of oil, against 16g for a 200g living-room candle. Get that wrong and every scent on this list becomes unbearable by night three.
One line: in a bedroom under 120 sq ft, burn a 50–130g candle at roughly 6% load in a soft register — wind-down, soft floral, quiet wood or light fresh — and never a heavy oud, gourmand, coffee or spice.
Testing a bedroom range? 15g trial sizes from ₹93 pour roughly three 70g candles at a 6% load — enough to burn-test a scent in the actual room before you buy 100g. Note that Sage and Cedarwood starts at 50g, not 15g.

Why a small bedroom is the one room you can under-scent

Every other room in the house punishes you for using too little fragrance. The bedroom is the only one that punishes you for using too much — and it does it slowly, over several nights, so you rarely connect the cause to the effect.

A typical urban Indian bedroom — the second bedroom in a 2BHK, a PG room, a studio sleeping alcove — runs between roughly 80 and 120 square feet with a ceiling around nine to ten feet. That is somewhere near 700 to 1,200 cubic feet of air, much of it occupied by a bed. Compare that with a living room at 200 to 300 square feet with an open kitchen or balcony attached, and you are looking at a third to a quarter of the air volume, with materially less exchange because the door is usually shut and, for half the year, so is the window.

Three things stack on top of that. First, ventilation is low by design — a bedroom is closed for privacy, for air conditioning, for mosquito control. Second, the room is full of textiles: mattress, quilt, pillows, curtains, a rug, clothes in an open wardrobe. Textiles are excellent fragrance reservoirs. They absorb scent from the air during a burn and release it slowly for hours or days afterwards, which is why a bedroom candle does not reset between uses the way a kitchen candle does. Third, the room is used for sleeping, which is a state in which a scent you enjoyed at 9 pm becomes something you are simply unable to escape at 2 am.

The practical consequence: a 200g candle poured at a 9% load for a living-room brief will fill a 10 × 10 ft bedroom well inside twenty minutes and keep climbing for the remaining two hours of the burn. Night one it is pleasant. Night three the room smells of the candle before it is lit, because the bedding is now scented, and the candle is adding to a baseline rather than starting from zero. Customers describe this as "the fragrance is too strong" or "it gave me a headache". Neither is a fault in the oil.

The reframe that matters
For a bedroom, your smallest SKU is the right product, not the budget one. A 70g votive at 6% is not a downgrade from a 200g jar at 9% — it is the correct specification for the room, and it should be priced and described as such. Makers who present small candles as "mini" or "travel size" leave money on the table; makers who present them as bedroom size sell them at a proper margin and get fewer complaints.

Room area, candle size, wick and load

Work from floor area, because it is the number a customer can actually give you. The table below is the starting grid CSI uses when a maker asks how to spec a bedroom candle. It assumes a standard nine-foot ceiling, one candle burning, and a room with normal soft furnishing.

Sizing grid · one candle, ~9 ft ceiling
Room area against candle size, wick and fragrance load
Room area Typical room Fill weight Wick Load
Under 70 sq ft 7 × 9 ft box room, PG room, sleeping alcove 50–70 g One Eco Wick Thin (C1) 5–6%
70–100 sq ft 8 × 10 to 10 × 10 ft second bedroom 70–100 g One Eco Wick Thin (C1) 6%
100–120 sq ft 10 × 12 ft master in a compact 2BHK 100–130 g One Eco Wick Thin (C1) 6–7%
120–150 sq ft 10 × 14 or 12 × 12 ft master bedroom 130–200 g One Eco Wick Thick (C2) 7–8%
150 sq ft and above Large master, high ceiling, attached dressing 200 g and up Eco Wick Thick (C2) or a wooden wick 8%
These are starting points, not specifications. Three variables move every row: ceiling height (a twelve-foot ceiling adds a third to the air volume and pushes you up a row), ventilation (an exhaust fan, a running AC on fresh-air mode or an open window pushes you up; a sealed, curtained room pushes you down), and soft furnishing (a heavily upholstered room with wall-to-wall carpet holds far more scent than a tiled room with a single bedsheet, so drop a row). Burn-test in the real room before you publish a size on a product page. Wick size is set by jar diameter, not by room area — the wick column above assumes a narrow votive or small jar of roughly 6 to 7 cm across.

The load column is the one makers resist. Dropping from 8% to 6% feels like weakening the product, but in a small room it is the difference between a candle that scents and a candle that saturates. It also pours cleaner, cures faster, is less prone to sweating and costs less per unit. For the full breakdown of how load behaves across floral, woody and gourmand oils — the three families behave differently at the same percentage — read what fragrance load you should use for floral, woody and gourmand oils. The short version for this room: florals and fresh oils sit comfortably at 6%, woods usually want 6–7% because their molecules are heavier and slower to release, and gourmands should be pulled down to 5–6% because they build fastest.

Wax compatibility
Which wax for a small, low-load bedroom candle
Wax Best for Load ceiling From
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks The default for small jar and votive candles; headroom you will not need here Up to 13% ₹299 / 500g
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (flakes) Single-pour votives, low frosting, strong glass adhesion; melt and pour 80–90°C Up to 10% ₹260 / 500g
Eco Soy CSI 400 Beginners and small batches; one-pour, no additives, add fragrance at 80–90°C and stir two minutes Standard ₹399 / 1kg
Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 Premium bedroom tier; softer, fuller release that suits low loads particularly well Standard ₹325 / 500g
Soy Pillar Wax Moulded and designer bedside pieces that release from a mould Standard ₹300 / 500g

Do not treat a wax's ceiling as a target. Luxury Soy Chunks accept up to 13% and CSI 464 up to 10%; a bedroom candle should sit at roughly half of that. The ceiling exists so that you know where the wax stops binding oil, not so that you fill to it. Overshooting produces sweating, poor pool formation and unpredictable burning — and in a small room it produces all of that plus a candle nobody can be in the room with.

The fifteen fragrances, by register

All prices are CSI live pricing, August 2026. The final column in each table is the fragrance cost inside one 70g bedroom candle at a 6% load — that is 4.2g of oil — calculated at 1kg per-gram pricing. Every oil below ships in 100g, 500g and 1kg, and all but Sage and Cedarwood also ship in 15g and 50g.

Wind-down · the register lead
Lavender Fragrance Oil
The default bedroom scent in Indian home fragrance, and the only one on this list a customer will buy without needing to be sold on it. Lavender's advantage in a confined room is that it reads as calm rather than pretty — it does not demand attention, which is precisely what you want from a scent you will be lying under. It is robust in soy, survives a moderate cure, does not discolour white wax, and it is forgiving of a low load: at 6% it still reads clearly, where a heavier floral might disappear.

Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon ₹799 ₹3,999 ₹7,999 ₹33.60
Vanilla Bean (sparingly) ₹790 ₹3,840 ₹7,646 ₹32.11

Lavender Cranberry Coconut is the one to reach for when straight lavender reads too medicinal for a customer — the coconut rounds the herbal edge and the cranberry keeps it from going soapy. Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon is the spa register done properly: floral, creamy and unmistakably restful, and it holds its shape at a low load better than most jasmine oils. Vanilla Bean earns its place with a warning attached. It is the widest-appeal note in Indian candle retail, but it is also a gourmand, and gourmands accumulate faster than anything else on this list. Run it at 5% rather than 6% in a bedroom, keep the candle at 70g, and expect vanillin to turn white soy wax cream or pale brown over a few weeks — cosmetic, not a fault, but plan for it with an amber or frosted vessel rather than discovering it after you have shot the product photos.

2
Soft floral · the register lead
Japanese Cherry Blossom Fragrance Oil
The soft floral that behaves best in a small room, because its structure is light and slightly powdery rather than green or indolic — it does not develop a sharp edge as it warms. In a 70g candle it reads as a clean, gentle, slightly sweet floral that most people cannot name and almost nobody dislikes, which makes it the safest floral to put in a guest bedroom or a gifted sleep candle. At ₹500 per 100g it is also the cheapest floral here, which matters when your unit is small and your retail price is correspondingly modest.

Ylang Ylang Flower ₹590 ₹2,714 ₹5,310 ₹22.30
Raat Ki Rani (evening) ₹700 ₹3,387 ₹6,774 ₹28.45

Neroli is the floral for people who find florals cloying — orange-blossom bitterness keeps it crisp, and it is one of the few florals that stays elegant in a very small room. Ylang Ylang Flower is richer and more tropical; it is the most likely of the four to over-scent, so keep it at 5–6% and at 70g rather than 100g. Raat Ki Rani is the deliberate evening register — night-blooming jasmine is culturally exactly right for a bedroom in India, and it is the one scent here that genuinely improves when the light is low. It is also the strongest of the four, which is a feature if you burn it for thirty minutes before bed and a problem if you burn it for three hours.

3
Quiet wood · the register lead
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
The woody note that Indian customers already have a relationship with, and the correct bedroom wood because it is soft, creamy and low-contrast rather than smoky or resinous. Sandalwood sits at the back of a room instead of announcing itself, which is the exact behaviour a sleeping space needs. It is also the natural choice for the customer who finds every sweet candle cloying and has therefore concluded they do not like scented candles at all — a larger segment than most makers assume, and one that reorders reliably.

Palo Santo ₹602 ₹3,009 ₹6,018 ₹25.28
Santal Noir ₹919 ₹4,599 ₹9,120 ₹38.30

Sage and Cedarwood is the cleanest wood of the four — herbal sage keeps the cedar dry rather than dusty, and it is the best choice for a bedroom that doubles as a work-from-home corner, because it reads alert rather than sedative. Note it starts at 50g; there is no 15g trial size, so your smallest test buy is ₹354. Palo Santo is smoky-sweet and the one wood here that comes closest to being too much — it works beautifully in a 50–70g candle and becomes overbearing at 200g. Santal Noir is the premium anchor at ₹919 per 100g, and it is worth the money in this room specifically: it gives you a genuinely luxurious bedroom candle at ₹38.30 of fragrance per unit, because the unit is small. That is the small-room economics working in your favour — expensive oils become affordable when the candle is 70g.

4
Light fresh · the register lead
Cucumber Green Tea Fragrance Oil
The cheapest oil on this entire list and arguably the most appropriate. Cucumber Green Tea is watery, green and almost weightless — it does not accumulate, it does not cling to bedding the way a gourmand does, and it is the single best answer for a customer who says every candle they have tried gave them a headache. It is also the right register for a hot, humid Indian summer bedroom, where anything warm or sweet becomes unbearable, and for a room with an AC running, where a light scent circulates rather than settling.

Verbena ₹590 ₹2,478 ₹4,720 ₹19.82
Bergamot Amber ₹560 ₹2,718 ₹5,437 ₹22.84

Verbena is the herbal-citrus option and the most linen-like scent on the list — it suits a bedroom that has just been made up, and it is a natural pairing if you also sell a room and linen spray. Bergamot Amber is the bridge between fresh and warm: bergamot on top keeps it bright, a light amber base gives it enough persistence to survive a 6% load in soy, which straight citrus struggles to do. If you only want one fresh oil that works year-round in a bedroom rather than only in summer, this is it. Light top notes are volatile, so give all three a full 14-day cure before you judge them and size the wick so the melt pool reaches the jar wall — a small pool releases very little of a light note. If throw still disappoints, work through the weak throw diagnosis guide before blaming the oil.

The CSI principle
In a small bedroom, the smallest SKU is the correct product. Sell it as the specification, not the discount.
A 70g candle at a 6% load uses 4.2g of oil against the 16g in a 200g living-room candle. That means 100g of fragrance makes roughly 23 bedroom candles instead of six — and it means a ₹919 oil like Santal Noir costs ₹38 per unit, which puts genuine luxury inside a small, sensibly priced product.

What not to burn in a small bedroom

Everything below is a good oil. Several are among the best CSI stocks. None of them belong in a room under 120 square feet with the door shut, and saying so is more useful to a customer than pretending every scent works everywhere.

Wrong room, not wrong oil
Four categories to keep out of the bedroom, and where they do belong
Category Examples in stock Why it fails in a bedroom Put it here instead
Heavy oud & bakhoor Regal Royal Oud, Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Sultan's Smoke Resinous molecules are heavy and persistent; they settle into bedding and are still there three days later Living room, entrance, festive and gifting collections
Strong gourmand Chocolate Fudge, Cinnamon Vanilla, Dark Vanilla Builds fastest of any family and reads as edible — appetising in a kitchen, nauseating at 2 am Kitchen, dining, winter and festive candles
Coffee Moca Coffee, Coffee Blast, Roasted Coffee Roasted, bitter and stimulating in character; it is the opposite of what a sleeping space is for Study, home office, café-style and gift collections
Spice Spicy Cinnamon, Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cinnamon Warm spice can read as irritating in high concentration in still air, especially overnight Living room, festive season, Christmas and Diwali ranges

The general test is simple. If a customer would describe the scent as rich, warm, intense or edible, it is a living-room scent. If they would describe it as clean, soft, calm or barely-there, it is a bedroom scent. A scent that reads generously across 250 square feet reads oppressively across ninety, and the smaller the room the less margin you have for getting it wrong.

What a bedroom candle actually costs to make

A 70g finished candle at a 6% load needs 4.2g of fragrance oil and 65.8g of wax, plus a wick and a small vessel. Using CSI stock at the same rates as our standard costings:

1
Wax — ₹39.48Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹5,999 per 10kg is ₹0.60 per gram. 65.8g × ₹0.60 = ₹39.48.
2
Wick — ₹5.90Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹590 per 100 wicks is ₹5.90 each. One wick is right for a narrow votive.
3
Vessel — ₹31.80Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram at ₹159 per pack of 5 is ₹31.80 each. Matte options in white and other colours cost the same.
4
Base before fragrance — ₹77.18₹39.48 + ₹5.90 + ₹31.80. Add 4.2g of your chosen oil to get the finished materials cost.
Materials cost · 70g bedroom candle @ 6% load
Five of the fifteen, priced end to end
Fragrance Oil (4.2g) Wax (65.8g) Wick Votive jar Total
Cucumber Green Tea ₹13.98 ₹39.48 ₹5.90 ₹31.80 ₹91.16
Japanese Cherry Blossom ₹20.34 ₹39.48 ₹5.90 ₹31.80 ₹97.52
Sandalwood ₹21.11 ₹39.48 ₹5.90 ₹31.80 ₹98.29
Lavender ₹21.93 ₹39.48 ₹5.90 ₹31.80 ₹99.11
Santal Noir ₹38.30 ₹39.48 ₹5.90 ₹31.80 ₹115.48

Materials land between ₹91 and ₹116 across all fifteen oils. Treating materials as roughly 30–35% of a sensible retail price puts a 70g bedroom candle around ₹279 to ₹349 — which is exactly where a well-made small Indian soy candle sits, and comfortably inside impulse and add-on gifting territory. What that figure excludes: labour, packaging, printed labels, shipping, gateway fees, marketplace commission and breakage.

The number that surprises makers
100g of oil yields about 23 bedroom candles of 70g at 6%, 500g yields about 119, and 1kg about 238. The same 100g yields only six 200g candles at an 8% load. If your catalogue skews small, a 100g bottle is a serious quantity of stock and 500g is a full season — buy accordingly rather than assuming a bedroom line needs bulk.

Bedroom safety, and the flame-free options that are often better

This section matters more in a bedroom than in any other room, and it belongs on your product page as well as in a guide. A bedroom combines an open flame with a low table, loose fabric and a person who intends to become unconscious. Print the essentials on a candle care sticker on the base of every candle you sell.

Bedroom candle safety, in full. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle while falling asleep — light it thirty to sixty minutes before bed and extinguish it fully before you lie down. Keep at least one clear foot between the flame and any bedding, curtain, dupatta, mosquito net or hanging fabric. Place the candle on a heat-safe, stable surface, away from the edge of a bedside table where it can be knocked in the dark. Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn with a wick trimmer — an untrimmed wick mushrooms, smokes and throws soot onto light-coloured walls. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets, never burn on or near a mattress, and stop burning when about 10mm of wax remains so the vessel base does not overheat. A small candle also self-limits usefully here: a 70g votive burns out in a few hours rather than tempting an all-evening burn.

And then the honest position, which most candle content will not state: for a sleeping space, a flame-free format is frequently the better product. It removes the safety problem entirely, it can run through the night, and — critically for a small room — it is far easier to dose down. CSI stocks all three formats as raw materials.

Flame-free for a sleeping space
Three formats, what each does, and what it costs to build
Format What it does in a bedroom Build it from
Wax melts + warmer Heat-released scent with no flame; stop it instantly by switching off. Use one cube, not three — dosing is the whole point Wax Melts Containers Empty from ₹148 / pack of 5 (heart or square) with an Elegant Ceramic Wax Warmer at ₹519
Reed diffuser Low, constant background level that never spikes; tune it by adding or removing reeds — the single most controllable format for a small room Reed diffuser bases with fibre reeds from ₹265 / 25 and 50ml or 120ml bottles
Room & linen spray A short burst that dissipates rather than accumulating; the right answer when a customer wants scent occasionally, not continuously Room & spray bases and accessories, including 50ml spray bottles at ₹42

A practical bedroom bundle a maker can build and sell as one SKU: a 70g candle for the wind-down half hour, plus a reed diffuser for the overnight baseline. That gives the customer control at both ends of the evening and removes the temptation to leave a flame burning. It also solves your own problem — the customer who says a candle is "not strong enough" almost always means the cold throw when unlit, and a diffuser answers that without pushing you into a higher, riskier fragrance load.

In a small bedroom, restraint is the product feature. Everything else is just volume.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We have no reason to steer you toward a bigger candle or a more expensive oil — we sell the wax, the oil and the jar either way. What we do have is order data across a large number of small Indian candle brands: which sizes reorder, which scents move from 100g to 1kg, and which product returns and complaints cluster around. Bedroom complaints cluster around dose, not around fragrance family, which is why this guide leads with sizing.

Every price, size and product link here is live CSI stock as of August 2026 and links directly to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Cost-per-candle figures are calculated rather than estimated, and every input is named so you can rerun the arithmetic against your own vessel and wick choices. The sizing grid is a documented starting point, not a specification — ceiling height, ventilation and soft furnishing all shift it, and burn-testing in the real room remains the only reliable method.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best candle fragrances for a small bedroom?
Soft registers that do not build up in a confined space. Wind-down: Lavender (₹540/100g), Lavender Cranberry Coconut (₹799), Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon (₹799) and Vanilla Bean used sparingly (₹790). Soft floral: Japanese Cherry Blossom (₹500), Neroli (₹666), Ylang Ylang Flower (₹590) and Raat Ki Rani for an evening register (₹700). Quiet wood: Sandalwood (₹503), Sage and Cedarwood (₹696), Palo Santo (₹602) and Santal Noir (₹919). Light fresh: Cucumber Green Tea (₹353), Verbena (₹590) and Bergamot Amber (₹560). The register matters less than the dose — in a small bedroom every one of these will over-scent if the candle is too big.
What size candle should you use in a small bedroom?
Under 70 square feet, a 50–70g candle on a single thin wick. From 70 to 100 square feet, 70–100g. From 100 to 120 square feet, 100–130g. Only above about 120 square feet does a 200g candle start to make sense. A 200g candle sized for a living room will saturate a 10 × 10 ft bedroom within roughly twenty minutes, and because bedding, curtains and upholstery absorb and re-release fragrance, the effect compounds night after night. These figures are starting points, not rules — ceiling height, ventilation and the amount of soft furnishing all shift them.
What fragrance load should a bedroom candle use?
Around 6% for a small bedroom, against the 8–10% a living-room candle would carry. A 70g candle at 6% uses 4.2g of oil. Lower loads also pour cleaner, cure faster and cost less, so this is one of the rare cases where the cheaper choice is also the better one. Never exceed the ceiling stated on your wax: up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464.
Which candle fragrances should you avoid in a bedroom?
Heavy ouds and bakhoors, strong gourmands, coffee, and spice. Regal Royal Oud, Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Sultan's Smoke, Moca Coffee, Chocolate Fudge, Spicy Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice are all excellent oils that are simply too much in a confined sleeping space. Resinous and gourmand molecules are heavy, they linger in textiles, and a scent that reads rich across a living room reads suffocating across nine feet. Sell them for living rooms, entrances and festive collections instead.
Is it safe to burn a candle in a bedroom while falling asleep?
No. Never burn a candle while falling asleep and never leave one burning unattended. In a bedroom, burn the candle for thirty to sixty minutes before you go to bed and extinguish it fully before lying down. Keep at least one clear foot between the flame and any bedding, curtain, dupatta or mosquito net, place the candle on a heat-safe surface away from the edge of a side table, trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. If you want scent through the night, use a flame-free format instead.
What are the best flame-free alternatives for a bedroom?
Three, and for a sleeping space they are often the better product than a candle. Wax melts poured into Wax Melts Containers (from ₹148 per pack of 5) and warmed on an Elegant Ceramic Wax Warmer (₹519) give heat-released scent with no flame. Reed diffusers built on a professional reed diffuser base give a low, constant level you can tune by removing reeds. A room and linen spray gives a short burst that dissipates rather than accumulating. All three let you under-scent deliberately, which is exactly what a small bedroom needs.
Build the bedroom range
Four registers. ₹1,896 at 100g. Roughly ninety-five candles of 70g, and a room that still smells good on night three.
CSI fragrance oils ship in 15g, 50g, 100g, 500g and 1kg. Pair with Luxury Soy Wax Chunks from ₹299, Eco Candle Wicks from ₹59, and 70g votive jars from ₹159 per pack of five — or build the flame-free line with wax melt containers, a ceramic warmer, reed diffuser bases and room spray accessories. About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team, and the first in a room-by-room series. Safety guidance follows standard candle-industry practice and should be printed on every candle you sell.

Figures verified August 2026: All fragrance oil prices are live CSI pricing across 15g, 50g, 100g, 500g and 1kg, except Sage and Cedarwood which starts at 50g. Cost-per-candle assumes a 70g finished candle at a 6% fragrance load (4.2g oil, 65.8g wax), Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹5,999/10kg (₹0.60/g), Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹590 per 100 (₹5.90 each), and a Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram at ₹159 per pack of 5 (₹31.80 each). Per-candle fragrance costs are calculated at 1kg per-gram pricing. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are rated to a 13% fragrance load and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 to 10%; always work to the ceiling stated on the wax you buy, and treat it as a limit rather than a target. Eco Soy CSI 400 specifies fragrance addition at 80–90°C with two minutes of stirring. The sizing grid assumes a nine-foot ceiling, one candle and normal soft furnishing, and is a starting point for burn-testing rather than a specification. Cure times of 14 days reflect standard practice for soy container candles. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
