Candle Business Guides · Ludhiana
There is no CSI counter in Ludhiana, no dealer with a ledger and no trade rate to be let into. What there is instead is a catalogue of 106 fragrance-oil listings with every price, pack and stated load printed on it — and this guide counts all of it, including the fields that are blank.
383 of 434
pack options across the 106 fragrance-oil listings that you can actually put in a cart today · 96 listings have at least one size in stock and 49 have all five · 15 g from ₹68.44 up to 1 kg, the largest pack listed · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Is there a candle fragrance oil supplier in Ludhiana? Not a CSI shop, stockist or office — none exists and none is claimed. CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA is an online raw-material supplier that ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp. A Ludhiana maker buys exactly what a Chennai maker buys, at the same printed price.

How big is the range, really? 106 fragrance-oil listings, 434 pack options, 383 of them buyable right now. The five rungs are 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg; 104 listings offer a 100 g and 104 offer a 1 kg, but only 55 offer a 15 g trial at all.

What do the product pages actually tell me? Across the 107 saved fragrance pages: a candle or usage percentage on 81, a scent-note structure on 102, a measured flash point on 18. A shelf life on none. Storage instructions on none.

What is the honest first order from Ludhiana? Three 50 g bottles, one 100 g bottle, 3 kg of wax and twenty wicks — ₹3,992.40, which pours fifteen 200 g candles at an 8% load and leaves you with four scents you have burned yourself rather than four you have read about.
The short answer
Judge the supplier by its blanks: any catalogue will tell you a scent is "strong". The useful question is how many of its pages state a candle load, a note structure and a measured flash point — and CSI's answer, page by page, is 81, 102 and 18 out of 107.
The trade you are making is counter for catalogue: you give up smelling the bottle and asking the dealer, and you get a printed price ladder, a published load and a stock flag per size. That trade only pays if you read the page properly before you pay.
Buy against the Ludhiana year, not against the calendar: the city's selling season — Karva Chauth, Diwali on 8 November 2026, Gurpurab, Christmas, the wedding block, Lohri in January — lands in exactly the months when cold glass and a cold workshop make pouring hardest. Order early, test in the heat.
How many of the 106 fragrance-oil listings offer each rung — and how many you can buy today 15 g trial 50 in stock of 55 listed · from ₹68.44 50 g 79 of 89 100 g 92 of 104 500 g 75 of 82 1 kg (largest) 87 of 104 Solid black = in stock. Pale block = listed but sold out at that size. 383 of 434 pack options are buyable.
The 15 g trial is the rung that is missing most often — half the range has no trial size at all, which is why a Ludhiana maker's shortlist has to be built from the published fields rather than from cheap sniff bottles. Counted from live CSI stock, September 2026.
Straight answer
Can a candle maker in Ludhiana rely on a fragrance oil supplier that has no presence in the city?
Yes, on one condition: that the supplier publishes enough for you to make the decision without a conversation. CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials — wax, fragrance oils, wicks, containers, dyes and tools — and does not sell finished candles. It ships across India and quotes bulk on WhatsApp; that is the entire logistics claim, and no delivery day, courier, rate or local stockist is published anywhere, so none is quoted here. What is published is the part you can actually use: 106 fragrance-oil listings, 434 pack options, 383 of them in stock, priced from ₹68.44 for a 15 g trial to ₹2,832 for the cheapest kilo, with 1 kg the largest pack in the range. On the pages themselves, 81 of 107 state a candle or usage percentage, 102 state a scent profile, 62 say something about vanillin and discolouration, and 18 state a measured flash point in °C or °F. None states a shelf life or a storage temperature, so this guide gives none. For a Ludhiana buyer the practical consequence is a different shopping habit: you shortlist on stated fields — load, notes, discolouration, stock at your size — buy the whole recipe in one parcel because you cannot walk back for a forgotten wick, and keep WhatsApp for the three things a cart cannot do: a GST invoice in your firm's name, documentation on request, and a quote above the listed kilo.
One line: there is no counter in Ludhiana, so judge this supplier on its printed numbers — 383 buyable pack options, 81 stated loads, and a published blank wherever there is nothing to state.
Starting the shelf? Pumpkin Spice 50 gm at ₹330.40 with a stated 6–10% candle load, Lavender Cranberry Coconut 50 g at ₹399 stated 8–10% in soy, and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg at ₹599 stated up to 13% — four scents and three kilos is a shelf, not a shopping trip.
Shop fragrance oils

Counter, ledger, catalogue: the actual trade

Ludhiana knows how to buy raw material. It just does not usually buy it this way.

Ludhiana is a manufacturing city before it is anything else — knitwear and hosiery, bicycles and bicycle parts, sewing-machine and auto components, agricultural implements, and thousands of small units feeding them. That has produced a purchasing culture with a specific shape: you buy from a dealer you know, in a market you can reach, against a ledger, after a phone call, and you argue about the rate. It is a good system. It is also nothing like buying fragrance oil from a national online catalogue, and pretending the two are the same is how makers get disappointed.

So it is worth setting the trade out plainly. Every row below is a real difference, not a sales point, and three of the five rows are things a distant supplier is simply worse at. If those three matter more to you than the two it is better at, buy locally and ignore this page.

Dealer counter vs national catalogue
What a Ludhiana buyer gives up, and what arrives in its place
What you are used to What a national online catalogue does instead Which is better, honestly
Smell the bottle before you pay Read a stated note structure, a stated load, a discolouration line, and published reviews The counter, clearly — a page cannot be sniffed. A 15 g trial is the workaround, and only 55 listings have one
Ask the dealer which one sells Judge from what the page states and from your own burn test The counter for speed, the page for evidence — the dealer's answer is one shop's experience, the page's stated load is the same number for everyone
A rate you negotiate One printed ladder: 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg, same price for every buyer The catalogue. You can calculate your own cost before you talk to anybody
Credit against a ledger, goods now Payment before dispatch; a GST invoice on request via WhatsApp The counter, if cash flow is your constraint. Plan the order as a prepaid purchase, not a running account
Collect it this afternoon Ships nationwide. No day, courier or rate is published, so none is promised The counter. Which is exactly why your order has to be complete and early — see the calendar below
The mistake: treating an online supplier like a dealer with a ledger. Three habits carry over badly. First, ordering in instalments — "wax now, oil next week" — which turns one parcel into three and leaves you unable to pour until the last one lands. Second, expecting the rate to move because the order is large; the listed ladder is the listed ladder, and anything above the 1 kg fragrance pack is a separate quote you have to ask for. Third, assuming a missing size can be "arranged"; if a rung shows sold out, it is sold out, and your options are another rung or another oil. Build the order as a single prepaid purchase with every line on it, and these three stop being problems.

The shelf, counted rung by rung

"Wide range" is a claim. Counts are checkable. The table below is the whole fragrance shelf broken down by pack size: how many of the 106 listings offer that rung, how many are in stock at it, the cheapest and dearest in-stock price at that rung, and what the rung is actually for. The 15 g row is the one that changes behaviour the most, because it is missing from half the range.

Five rungs · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Every pack size in the fragrance range, counted, priced and explained
Rung Listings offering it In stock now In-stock price range What the rung is for
15 g 55 of 106 50 ₹68.44 – ₹187.62 Smelling and shortlisting. Roughly one 150 g candle's worth of oil at 8% — not a pouring quantity
50 g 89 of 106 79 ₹170 – ₹1,203 A real test batch: four 150 g candles at 8%, with a little spare
100 g 104 of 106 92 ₹300 – ₹2,406 The default working bottle. Eight 150 g candles, or twelve 85 g gift tins
500 g 82 of 106 75 ₹1,420 – ₹5,899 A proven seller in production. Forty-one 150 g candles
1 kg 104 of 106 87 ₹2,832 – ₹24,056 The largest pack listed. Eighty-three 150 g candles of one scent
Worked out above: candle counts assume fragrance load as a share of the finished candle, so a 150 g candle at 8% is 138 g of wax and 12 g of oil; 500 ÷ 12 = 41 and 1,000 ÷ 12 = 83. An 85 g gift tin at 8% takes 6.8 g, so 100 ÷ 6.8 = 14 — call it twelve with a margin for spills. Rung counts are of the 106 fragrance-oil listings in the live catalogue; 434 pack options exist across them and 383 were in stock in September 2026. The 15 g floor of ₹68.44 is Eucalyptus Spearmint; the ₹2,832 kilo floor is Citrus Lemon.
Screenshot the variant, not the listing
Stock is recorded per size, not per oil. Forty-nine of the 106 listings have all five sizes in stock; the rest have at least one gap, and the gap moves. When you decide on an oil, decide on the variant — "Pumpkin Spice 50 gm" rather than "Pumpkin Spice" — and screenshot it with the price showing. If the rung you planned is gone when you return, you will know instantly whether to drop a rung, drop the oil, or ask on WhatsApp.

What the pages state — and what they never will

This is the part that should decide whether you trust a supplier you cannot visit. Below is the honest coverage of the 107 saved fragrance pages — 106 oils plus a diffusion concentrate base — field by field, with what to do where the field is blank. A blank is not a failure; a blank that is filled in with a number borrowed from a different oil is.

Published-field coverage · 107 fragrance pages
What is stated, how often, and what to do about the gap
Field Pages that state it What it gives you What to do when it is blank
Candle or usage percentage 81 of 107 A starting load in writing — commonly "7–10% (start at 7%)", "8–10% in soy wax", or a maximum-usage table Pour at 8% and burn-test. Never import a percentage from another oil
Scent notes or profile 102 of 107 (88 with a full top/heart/base pyramid) Structure, which predicts cure behaviour better than the scent name does Buy the smallest in-stock rung and smell it before you commit a batch
Vanillin or discolouration 62 of 107 Whether to expect yellowing or browning in pale wax — several pages say browning "over time" outright Assume a warm, sweet or smoky oil may darken pale wax, and test in your actual wax
Flash point 51 mention it; only 18 state a measured value A handling reference. The most common line is a threshold, "> 93°C", not a measurement Work to the wax page's stated add temperature. Ask for the SDS on WhatsApp if you need a number
Shelf life, expiry or storage 0 of 107 Nothing — no page states any of these Keep bottles capped, upright and out of direct sun as ordinary practice, and do not repeat a shelf life you read somewhere else
Lab or GC-MS data, certificate numbers 0 of 107 Nothing Treat your own burn test as the only performance data you own
An IFRA line on a page is a framework, not paperwork you have been handed. Seventy-one of the 107 pages mention IFRA, in more than a dozen different phrasings — some as a compliance sentence with a usage table beneath it, some as a bare badge. Not one publishes a certificate number, an amendment number, a category, or a downloadable statement, and 36 pages never mention IFRA at all. So the honest reading is: IFRA is the framework the usage percentages sit inside, the page's own wording is what that page claims, and if your customer or your buyer needs paperwork, you ask for documentation on WhatsApp before you promise it. The same goes for an SDS: two pages refer to one, and neither attaches it.
Don't build a winter recipe on a summer burn test. This is the specifically Ludhiana version of the trap. A scent you shortlist in the dry heat of May and a scent you shortlist in a January workshop are not being judged on the same terms: the warm room lifts the cold throw, the cold room slows the melt pool and makes the same candle read quieter. If a scent is going into a Diwali or wedding order, it needs a burn test in conditions close to the ones it will be sold and burned in — which in Ludhiana means testing the festive shortlist while the weather is still mild, not after the cold sets in. The method is in how to compare two fragrance oils using a controlled burn test.

Four oils for a first Ludhiana shelf

Four scents, chosen so that the shelf covers the city's actual selling year — a warm spiced candle for the autumn festive block, a soft floral-fruity for hampers and favours, a dark gourmand for the cold months and men's gifting, and a rose for weddings. Three of the four state a candle load; the fourth deliberately does not, because you should see what that looks like before you meet it in an order you have already taken. In each card's table the last column counts 200 g candles at an 8% load, which is why a 15 g trial reads as zero — it is a sniff bottle, not a pour.

1
Spiced gourmand · the autumn festive workhorse
Pumpkin Spice
The scent that carries an October and November shelf, and the cheapest of the four per gram at every rung. Its page states a recommended fragrance load of 6–10% for candles and 8–12% for wax melts, with the sensible note that a lower percentage gives a subtle autumn backdrop and a higher one a more prominent baked-pie aroma — which is a usable instruction rather than a marketing line. It is also the only one of the four that a CSI customer has named in a published review: Renu, a verified buyer in July 2026, writes that "Gilli Mitti and Pumpkin Spice scents are amazing and authentic." Pour it at 8% first; you have room in both directions.
Size Price Per 100g 200g candles @ 8%
15 gm ₹106.20 ₹708 ≈0
50 gm ₹330.40 ₹660.80 ≈3
100 gm ₹590 ₹590 ≈6
500 gm ₹2,950 ₹590 ≈31
1 kg ₹5,310 ₹531 ≈62
₹105.73 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8% at the 50 gm rung Buy Pumpkin Spice
2
Soft floral-fruity · hampers and favours
Lavender Cranberry Coconut Fragrance Oil
The hamper scent. Its page states a recommended candle load of 8–10% in soy wax, a perfume load of 18–22%, projection described as moderate with a soft trail, and a unisex wear — and "moderate" stated plainly is more useful than "strong" asserted everywhere, because it tells you this is a scent for a bedroom-sized candle and a gift box rather than a hall. Note the ladder before you buy: the 50 g rung is the cheapest per gram in the whole listing at ₹7.98, and the 1 kg bottle is fractionally the dearest at ₹7.999. That is not a misprint; it is what a flat ladder looks like, and it means there is no penalty for buying small here.
Size Price Per 100g 200g candles @ 8%
15g ₹133 ₹886.67 ≈0
50g ₹399 ₹798 ≈3
100g ₹799 ₹799 ≈6

₹127.68 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8% at the 50 g rung Buy Lavender Cranberry Coconut
3
Dark gourmand · cold months and men's gifting
Coffee Vanilla Tobacco Fragrance Oil
The winter candle, and the one with the most useful warning on its page. It states a recommended candle load of 7–9% in soy wax with strong throw at lower loads, tells you to start at 7% and test, and states outright that it will cause browning in white or light-coloured wax and soap bases over time. Read that as a design instruction, not a defect: pour it in amber, black or matte glass, or in a tin, and the browning stops being visible. It is the dearest of the four per gram at the small rungs — ₹8.98 a gram at 50 g — and its ladder does genuinely fall, to ₹8.599 a gram at the kilo. Which scents are least likely to discolour pale wax is covered in this guide.
Size Price Per 100g 200g candles @ 8%
50g ₹449 ₹898 ≈3
100g ₹899 ₹899 ≈6
500g ₹4,399 ₹879.80 ≈31
1kg ₹8,599 ₹859.90 ≈62
₹143.68 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8% at the 50 g rung Buy Coffee Vanilla Tobacco
4
Rose · weddings, and a page that states nothing
Smoked Rose Royale
A smoked rose is the obvious wedding-favour direction in a city with a wedding season this dense — and this listing is on the shelf for a second reason. Its page states no candle percentage, no flash point and no IFRA wording at all. That is worth meeting deliberately on a test batch rather than on a 200-favour order. Buy the 100 g rung, which is the smallest offered and the cheapest per gram at ₹7.99, pour at 8% in a wax whose own page states a ceiling — Luxury Soy Wax Chunks state up to 13% — and let the wax's number be the one you work to. The ladder is flat to three paise a gram across all three rungs, so there is nothing to gain by going bigger before you know.
Size Price Per 100g 200g candles @ 8%
100g ₹799 ₹799 ≈6
500g ₹3,999 ₹799.80 ≈31
1kg ₹7,999 ₹799.90 ≈62
₹127.84 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8% at the 100 g rung Buy Smoked Rose Royale

The scent shelf, costed

Here is the whole thing as a purchase. Glass is deliberately left out: your vessel is the one decision that should follow your own candle and your own price, and a 200 ml jar is not a 200 g candle — weigh one filled vessel before you plan around it. Everything else is priced.

First Ludhiana scent shelf · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Four scents, three kilos of wax, twenty wicks — and what the shelf pours
Line Pack Price What it is for
Pumpkin Spice 50 gm ₹330.40 Four 200 g candles at 8% (64 g), spare for a fifth
Lavender Cranberry Coconut 50 g ₹399 Four 200 g candles at 8%
Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g ₹449 Three 200 g candles at 8%, poured in dark glass
Smoked Rose Royale 100 g ₹799 Four 200 g candles at 8%, with 36 g held back
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 3 × 1 kg ₹1,797 2,760 g poured, 240 g planning allowance
Eco Candle Wicks · Thin (C1) 20 wicks ₹118 Fifteen candles, five spares
Candle Wick Stickers 1 sheet · 40 ₹100 Holds each wick central so the wick is the only variable
Shelf total 250 g of oil ₹3,992.40 Fifteen 200 g candles at an 8% load

The per-candle arithmetic is where the shelf earns its keep. At the 1 kg rung Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are ₹599, so 184 g of wax is ₹110.22. Add 16 g of oil and a wick and a sticker and one candle costs ₹224.34 in Pumpkin Spice, ₹246.30 in Lavender Cranberry Coconut, ₹246.46 in Smoked Rose Royale and ₹262.30 in Coffee Vanilla Tobacco — before glass, label and box. The spread between the cheapest and dearest scent is ₹37.96 a candle, which is real money on a 200-unit order and almost nothing on a fifteen-candle test. That is the whole reason to test before you scale, and the reason to know which scent you are scaling.

Fifteen grams is a sniff, not a shelf. Fifteen grams is about one 150 g candle's worth of oil at 8%. Five trials feel efficient and cost ₹663.20 for 75 g — ₹8.84 a gram — against ₹6.61 a gram for Pumpkin Spice at 50 g. They are for your nose and your shortlist, not your jug, and on this shelf two of the four scents do not offer a 15 g rung at all. If you want to sniff first, buy trials as a separate small order and keep the shelf money for quantities you can actually pour and burn.

What a Ludhiana year does to oil and wax

Most Indian candle cities have two working conditions. Ludhiana hands you four, and the hardest one arrives exactly when the orders do.

The catalogue does not change by city. The workshop does. Ludhiana's year has a genuine four-season shape — a long dry build-up of heat, a humid monsoon stretch, a short clean autumn, and a properly cold, often foggy winter — and each one does something different to stored oil, to the pour and to a finished candle in a customer's house. None of the figures below is a weather statistic; they are material behaviours you can verify on your own bench, and where a number is a planning assumption it says so.

The Ludhiana working year
What each stretch does to oil, wax and candles — and the one thing to change
Stretch What you will see Why Change this
Dry heat before the rains Soft candles, oily-looking tops, a scent that seems thinner in the room Soy softens well below its melting point; a warm room also saturates faster, so your nose tires quicker Move stock off outer walls and out of window displays. Judge throw in a normal room, not a hot one
Monsoon weeks Condensation on jars, labels lifting, cartons going soft Ambient moisture on cool glass and paper, not a fault in the wax Dry every jar rim before pouring; store cured stock in closed cartons off the floor
Short clean autumn The easiest pouring of the year — and the busiest Mild ambient temperature holds the pour range without a fight Nothing technical. Use it to pour volume, because the next stretch is harder
Cold, foggy winter Wet spots and poor glass adhesion, more frosting, slower cure, a candle that reads quiet when first lit Cold glass chills the wax where it touches, soy sets faster, and a cold candle takes longer to reach a full melt pool Warm the jars before pouring, slow the pour, and allow the full 14–21 day cure rather than the minimum
Late-winter swing Two batches poured a fortnight apart behaving differently Workshop temperature moving by several degrees between mornings and afternoons Log the actual thermometer reading per batch, not the target. It is the only way to explain the difference later

The winter row is the one to take seriously, because in Ludhiana the cold months and the selling months are the same months. A CSI customer makes the point better than a spec sheet can: Arzoo Vyas, reviewing the 1 litre electric wax melter in April 2026, writes "So I live in a very cold region and it was becoming very difficult for me to maintain the temperature." Holding the pour temperature is the practical winter problem, and it is a workshop problem rather than a fragrance problem — the oil has not changed. Why cold glass produces wet spots is set out in the pouring temperature truth, and frosting in why soy wax frosts.

The CSI principle
In a city that buys on a handshake, a supplier whose hand you cannot shake has to be auditable instead.
Eighty-one pages state a candle load and twenty-six do not. Eighteen state a measured flash point and fifty-six state nothing. Every one of those is a figure you can check against what you were told, before you pay — which is what auditable means, and it is the only thing that stands in for a dealer you have known for ten years.
Past the test batch? 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed — from ₹2,832 — and the largest soy wax packs are 10 kg, with one wax listed at 50 kg. For anything above those, or for a recurring order, bulk pricing, GST invoicing and documentation are handled on WhatsApp.

How a maker in Ludhiana orders

Five steps, in this order. The sequence matters more than any single step, because four of the five are free and the one that costs money comes last.

1
Write the candle down before you open the fragrance collectionVessel and its stated fill weight, finished weight, load, wax, wick, and the price you intend to sell at. One line. Every gram figure on the rest of the order is derived from it, and without it you will buy a scent you like rather than a quantity you need. If the candle is a wedding favour or a corporate gift, write the unit count too — those orders are single-scent, and they change which rung you buy.
2
Shortlist on four published fields, not on the photographStated candle percentage; the note structure; any vanillin or discolouration line; and stock at the exact rung you want. Four fields, four minutes an oil. An oil that states all four is a safer first purchase than a better-named oil that states none — and where the field is blank, treat 8% and your own burn test as the answer. Why overloading backfires is in can too much fragrance oil make a candle smell weaker.
3
Put the entire recipe in one cartOil, wax, wicks, stickers, vessels, dye if you use it. No delivery time is published, so the thing you control is completeness — one parcel that contains every variable you intend to test. A second parcel for a forgotten ₹100 sheet of stickers is the most expensive ₹100 in candle making, because it costs you a pouring weekend.
4
Use WhatsApp for the three things the cart cannot doA GST invoice in your firm's name; documentation on request, named — an SDS or IFRA paperwork for a specific oil, not for "your oils"; and a quote for anything above the listed packs, since 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack and 10 kg the largest common wax pack. Send facts, not a request: oil names with sizes, kilograms per oil, the date it has to be on your bench, and whether it repeats.
5
Check the parcel against the page, then pour at 8% and cure properlyMatch every label to the variant you paid for, weigh one bottle on your own scale, and let a winter parcel reach room temperature before you open anything. Then pour at 8% across the shortlist, cure 14–21 days with lids on, and burn for up to three hours scoring melt-pool time, soot and throw at 30 and 120 minutes. That score sheet, not the product page, is what you scale from. See how to test hot throw before launching a fragrance.
Ludhiana has spent a century getting good at buying raw material. The one habit that does not transfer is expecting the rate to move.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle-making raw materials, not finished candles — and it does not blend or produce the wax and fragrance oil it sells. That is worth stating on a page about serving a city, because it sets the limit of what we can honestly tell you. We can tell you what a listing states, what it costs, and whether it is in stock. We cannot tell you how a scent performs in your jar, in your room, in January in Ludhiana. Only your own burn test can, and a supplier that claims otherwise is selling you something other than information.

Every count, price and pack size on this page comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Stated loads, notes, discolouration lines and flash points are quoted only where that specific product page states them — Pumpkin Spice 6–10% for candles, Lavender Cranberry Coconut 8–10% in soy, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 7–9% in soy with a stated browning warning, Smoked Rose Royale nothing at all. Where a page states nothing, this guide says so rather than filling the gap. No delivery time, courier, shipping rate, local stockist or customer count appears here because none is published.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a candle fragrance oil shop or dealer in Ludhiana?
Not a CSI one. There is no CSI shop, counter, stockist, warehouse or office in Ludhiana, and none is claimed. CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA is an online supplier that ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. What that buys you instead of a counter is a printed price ladder on 106 fragrance-oil listings with 383 buyable pack options, the same for every buyer in the country, plus stated loads on 81 of 107 pages.
How many of CSI's fragrance oils can I buy in the size I actually want?
There are 106 fragrance-oil listings in the live catalogue. Of those, 96 have at least one pack size in stock and 49 have all five sizes in stock. Counted as pack options rather than listings, 383 of 434 are buyable. The rungs are 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and 1 kg is the largest pack in the range — there is no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack.
Can you tell me when an order will reach Ludhiana, and what shipping will cost?
Neither figure is published, so neither is quoted here. The whole of the shipping claim is that CSI ships across India and handles bulk orders on WhatsApp. That is genuinely a limitation, and the way to work around it is planning rather than optimism: place festive and wedding orders early, order the complete recipe in one parcel, and work backwards from the date the candles must exist — not from the date you would like the box to arrive.
What is a sensible first fragrance spend for a Ludhiana candle business?
Four scents that between them cover the city's selling year, plus the wax and wicks to test them. The shelf above comes to ₹3,992.40: Pumpkin Spice 50 gm ₹330.40, Lavender Cranberry Coconut 50 g ₹399, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g ₹449, Smoked Rose Royale 100 g ₹799, three 1 kg packs of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹1,797, twenty Eco Candle Wicks ₹118 and a sheet of wick stickers ₹100. It pours fifteen 200 g candles at 8%. Buy glass separately, against your own candle.
Which Ludhiana season is harder on candles — the heat or the cold?
Both, in different ways, and the cold one is harder. The dry pre-monsoon heat softens stored candles and flattens how a scent reads in a warm room; the cold winter is the harder one, because cold glass causes wet spots and poor adhesion, soy sets faster and frosts more, cure runs slower, and a cold candle takes longer to reach a full melt pool so it reads quiet when first lit. Warm the jars, slow the pour, allow the full 14–21 day cure, and log the actual pour temperature per batch.
Can I get a GST invoice, an SDS or IFRA documentation for an oil?
Ask on WhatsApp, by product name and size. Bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation are handled on the WhatsApp line, not in the cart. Be precise about what you need, because the pages themselves do not publish certificate numbers, IFRA amendment or category numbers, or downloadable statements — 71 of 107 pages mention IFRA in some form and 36 never mention it. Only two pages refer to an SDS at all, so request it for the named oil rather than assuming one is attached.
Ludhiana · start with the shelf, not the order
Four scents, three kilos, fifteen candles you have burned yourself — then take the festive order.
Pumpkin Spice from ₹106.20 for 15 gm and ₹330.40 for 50 gm with a stated 6–10% candle load; Lavender Cranberry Coconut from ₹133, stated 8–10% in soy; Coffee Vanilla Tobacco from ₹449, stated 7–9% in soy with a browning warning; Smoked Rose Royale from ₹799; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599/kg stated up to 13%; Eco Candle Wicks from ₹59 for 10. 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed — above that, ask.

The 240 g of spare wax in the shelf is a stated planning allowance for spills and top-ups, not a published figure. Cure of 14–21 days is standard practice. Diwali 2026 is 8 November; all other festivals are named without dates. Seasonal effects are general material behaviour you can verify on your own bench — no temperature or humidity statistic for Ludhiana is published or implied. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
