Lavender Fragrance Oil 5 Kg Wholesale Price in India

Is there a trade rate, a slab or an MOQ? No. CSI publishes one price ladder, the same for every buyer — no trade tier, no volume slab, no published minimum order, no credit term. Ask for a quote on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 by all means; nothing here promises a better number exists.
Is it cheaper to buy 500 g or 100 g packs instead? Barely, and not in your favour: five 1 kg bottles are ₹26,105, ten 500 g bottles ₹26,200 (₹95 more), fifty 100 g bottles ₹27,000 (₹895 more).
So where is the money on a ₹26,105 order? Not in the fragrance. On the same 312-candle run the vessel choice moves ₹13,000, the load ₹10,442 and the wax ₹5,357.80. The pack size moves ₹95.
What five kilograms of lavender actually costs
Start with the pack. Across all 92 fragrance oils the variant ladder is at most 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg — no 2 kg bottle, no 5 kg can, no 10 kg drum, not for lavender and not for anything. So the 5 kg price is a multiplication, not a lookup. Five kilograms of Lavender Fragrance Oil is 5 × ₹5,221 = ₹26,105, arriving as five separate one-kilogram bottles with five separate batch codes. That is not a workaround for a missing pack; it is what buying five kilograms from CSI is.
Now the rate card. CSI publishes one price ladder, the same for everyone — the maker buying a 15 g trial bottle and the brand buying five kilograms read the same number off the same product page. No trade account, no reseller tier, no slab cutting in at 3 kg or 5 kg, no published minimum order quantity, no credit term. If you have been ringing round suppliers collecting "wholesale rates", CSI has no second, quieter price to give you. A buyer committing ₹26,105 to one scent is entirely reasonable to ask for a quote on +91 7397976926 first; we are not saying asking produces a discount, only that none is published, so cost your run on ₹26,105.
| Oil | 1 kg price | Per gram | 5 kg = 5 × 1 kg | What ships |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lavender Fragrance Oil | ₹5,221.00 | ₹5.221 | ₹26,105 | Five 1 kg bottles |
| Lavender Cranberry Coconut | ₹7,999.00 | ₹7.999 | ₹39,995 | Five 1 kg bottles |
| Lavender Oud — Calm Meets Kingdom | ₹12,000.00 | ₹12.00 | ₹60,000 | Five 1 kg bottles |
The spread inside one scent name is worth pausing on. Lavender Oud is 2.30 times the per-gram cost of straight Lavender Fragrance Oil — ₹33,895 of difference across five kilograms, more than the entire lavender order. Lavender Oud is a different composition at a luxury price, Lavender Cranberry Coconut a fruited spa blend, straight lavender the volume oil. That choice dwarfs any pack-size arithmetic: choose the oil on the product, then price the volume.
Every route to five kilograms, priced — and why they are all the same
There are a handful of ways to assemble five kilograms out of the sizes that exist, and we have priced all of them against the live ladder. The result is the least commercially convenient thing on this page.
| Route | Unit price | Units for 5 kg | Total | Per gram | vs the kilogram |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 kg bottles | ₹5,221.00 | 5 | ₹26,105 | ₹5.221 | — |
| 500 g bottles | ₹2,620.00 | 10 | ₹26,200 | ₹5.240 | +₹95 (+0.36%) |
| 100 g bottles | ₹540.00 | 50 | ₹27,000 | ₹5.400 | +₹895 (+3.43%) |
| 50 g bottles | ₹270.00 | 100 | ₹27,000 | ₹5.400 | +₹895 (+3.43%) |
Two things fall out of that table. First, the two routes a volume buyer would actually consider are within ₹95 of each other — 0.36%, less than one Black Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹107. You cannot buy a single candle's vessel with the saving. Second, the ladder never steps down above 1 kg; it only steps up as the bottle shrinks, flattening between 50 g and 100 g at ₹5.40 per gram, and reaching ₹7.00 per gram at 15 g.
This flatness is not universal. On Lavender Cranberry Coconut the 500 g route is ₹5 cheaper — ten bottles at ₹3,999 is ₹39,990 against ₹39,995 — because the kilogram is priced ₹1 above two halves. On Lavender Oud the kilogram genuinely wins: ten 500 g at ₹6,200 is ₹62,000 against ₹60,000, a real ₹2,000. Three lavenders, three answers, no published volume tier.
Where the money actually is on a ₹26,105 fragrance order
Five kilograms of oil is the fragrance line of a production run, and the run has to be costed whole. Here is the run it supports, on CSI's convention that fragrance percentage is of total candle weight.
| Line | What you buy | Cost | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fragrance | Lavender Fragrance Oil — 5 × 1 kg @ ₹5,221 | ₹26,105.00 | 36.2% |
| Wax | Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — 5 × 10 kg + 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg = 58 kg | ₹29,429.20 | 40.8% |
| Vessels | 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar (golden lid) — 4 × 100 pcs | ₹11,800.00 | 16.4% |
| Wicks | Eco Candle Wicks Thick (C2) — 4 × 100 wicks | ₹3,776.00 | 5.2% |
| Wick stickers | Candle Wick Stickers — 10 sheets of 40 | ₹1,000.00 | 1.4% |
| Total raw materials | The whole run, in buyable packs | ₹72,110.20 | 100% |
Two honest notes. The packs buy more capacity than 312 candles — 400 jars, 400 wicks, 400 stickers, 58 kg of wax — so ₹72,110.20 ÷ 312 = ₹231.12 per candle carries that overage. And the point of the section: fragrance is 36.2% of the bill, while the ₹95 you might save on pack size is 0.13% of it. Three larger levers follow.
Lever 1 — the vessel: ₹13,000
The 400 jars above are 200 ml Salsa Glass Jars with a golden lid at ₹29.50 each. The same jar in coloured glass — 200 ml Salsa Red Glass Jar — is ₹62.00 each. Four packs of each: ₹11,800 against ₹24,800, a difference of ₹13,000 on one run — 137 times the ₹95, and half the value of the fragrance order. Coloured glass may be right for your brand and worth every rupee; that is positioning, not a mistake. But it is a ₹13,000 decision, and it deserves more of your week than the pack-size question.
Lever 2 — the fragrance load: ₹10,442
This lever acts directly on the five kilograms you are buying, and most volume buyers never price it. Inside Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, stated ceiling 10%, the working range is roughly 6% to 10% in a 200 g candle.
| Load | Oil per candle | Candles from 5 kg | Fragrance cost per candle | Oil needed for 250 candles |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6% | 12 g | 416 | ₹62.65 | 3.0 kg = ₹15,663 |
| 8% | 16 g | 312 | ₹83.54 | 4.0 kg = ₹20,884 |
| 10% (ceiling) | 20 g | 250 | ₹104.42 | 5.0 kg = ₹26,105 |
Read the last column. For the same 250 candles, 6% needs 3 kg at ₹15,663 and 10% needs 5 kg at ₹26,105 — a ₹10,442 swing, 110 times the ₹95. As output: the identical ₹26,105 yields 250 candles at 10% and 416 at 6%, 166 extra candles from money already spent.
Lever 3 — the wax: ₹5,357.80
The wax is the largest single line at 40.8%, larger than the fragrance. Across the same 58 kg build, using the two waxes whose ceilings CSI publishes:
| Wax | Stated ceiling | 10 kg | 5 kg | 1 kg | 58 kg total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 | up to 10% | ₹5,074.00 | ₹2,537.00 | ₹507.40 | ₹29,429.20 |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | up to 13% | ₹5,999.00 | ₹2,995.00 | ₹599.00 | ₹34,787.00 |
The gap is ₹5,357.80 across one run — 56 times the ₹95. These are different waxes with different handling and different ceilings, so it is not a swap to make on price alone: the Chunks buy headroom to 13% that CSI 464 does not have, and for some recipes that is the reason to pay for them. But it is a ₹5,357.80 choice, made once.
There is a cheaper soy still. Eco Soy CSI 400 is ₹1,996 per 5 kg and ₹399 per 1 kg, so 58 kg is ₹23,153 — ₹6,276.20 below CSI 464 and ₹11,634 below the Chunks. A caveat, not a recommendation: CSI publishes a stated ceiling for the Chunks and CSI 464, and none for Eco Soy CSI 400, so do not assume an 8% load transfers. Ask on +91 7397976926 first.
| Rank | Lever | The decision | Rupees moved | × the ₹95 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Vessel | 400 clear salsa jars vs 400 coloured salsa jars | ₹13,000.00 | 137× |
| 2 | Fragrance load | 6% vs 10% for the same 250 candles | ₹10,442.00 | 110× |
| 3 | Wax | 58 kg of CSI 464 vs 58 kg of Luxury Soy Chunks | ₹5,357.80 | 56× |
| 4 | Wick | 400 Thick (C2) at ₹9.44 vs 400 Thin (C1) at ₹5.90 | ₹1,416.00 | 15× |
| 5 | Fragrance pack size | Five 1 kg bottles vs ten 500 g bottles | ₹95.00 | 1× |
The winner is the vessel, at ₹13,000. The wick line carries the same warning as the load: a wick is sized to the jar diameter and the wax, not chosen on price, and ₹1,416 saved on an undersized wick costs the whole run. All five decisions are made in the same week from the same cash pile, and four are worth 15 to 137 times the fifth. A buyer who spends that week negotiating an unpublished fragrance rate has spent it on the smallest number on the page.
Working capital, shelf life and five batch codes
A five-kilogram fragrance order is a working-capital decision dressed as a purchasing decision. On the run above, ₹26,105 of a ₹72,110.20 materials budget sits in one scent — a position that can only be unwound by selling lavender candles, and the ₹95 pack-size saving does nothing for that risk. Ordering four kilograms instead releases ₹5,221, 55 times the saving, and costs you only the last 62 candles, which you can order later at the same price.
So sizing is a consumption question. Our editorial rule of thumb — our judgement, not CSI policy, not a stated shelf life, not a condition of sale — is to hold no more of one fragrance than you expect to pour within about six months. On that window five kilograms needs a sustained 312 ÷ 6 = 52 lavender candles a month; a three-month window means 104. If your lavender line does 20 a month, five kilograms is a two-year position and you should buy 1 kg at ₹5,221.
Five bottles, five batch codes
Because there is no 5 kg pack, your five kilograms is five separate 1 kg bottles, and five bottles can carry more than one batch code. At this volume, consistency is what you are buying — not a rate. A brand pouring 312 lavender candles sells one product 312 times, and the customer who buys in March and reorders in July is comparing the two.
| Field | Why it matters at five kilograms |
|---|---|
| Batch code on each of the five bottles | If bottles three and four are a different batch, and candle 190 smells different from candle 40, this is the only record that lets you find out why. |
| Which bottle went into which production batch | Ties a customer complaint to a bottle instead of to "the lavender". Write the bottle number on the batch sheet. |
| Date opened, per bottle | A bottle opened in month one and finished in month six has had a different life from one opened in month five. |
| Load used and wax used, per batch | The two variables that change throw more than the oil does. Without them, a scent complaint is unanswerable. |
| One retained sample candle per bottle | Five candles held back, labelled by bottle. When a reorder "smells different", you have the comparison in your hand. |
| Invoice and GST reference | Ties the whole lot to a documented purchase. CSI issues GST invoices as standard. |
If you want the bottles matched, ask before you order, not after. We cannot promise what a batch will be, but we can tell you what we are holding. How to verify wax quality before you buy applies the same thinking to the 58 kg on the other line of the invoice.
What to ask a supplier at this volume instead of "what's your 5 kg rate"
Most people searching for a 5 kg wholesale price are not yet 5 kg buyers
The threshold, plainly. Five kilograms of lavender at 8% in a 200 g candle is 312 candles of one scent. If you are not selling somewhere around 50 lavender candles a month — lavender specifically, not candles in total — then five kilograms is not a volume order, it is a storage decision. The honest place to buy is one rung down:
| You buy | Price | Candles it makes | Sensible if you pour |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 g | ₹540 | 6 | A trial batch and a market test |
| 500 g | ₹2,620 | 31 | Under 10 lavender candles a month |
| 1 kg | ₹5,221 | 62 | 10–25 lavender candles a month |
| 5 × 1 kg | ₹26,105 | 312 | 50+ lavender candles a month, sustained |
And the argument that makes this easy: because the per-gram price is flat, buying smaller costs almost nothing. Ten 500 g bottles cost ₹95 more than five kilograms — and for that ₹95 you can stop after three bottles, change scent, split a batch trial, or discover in month two that customers actually want Lavender Cranberry Coconut. At a supplier with a genuine volume ladder that flexibility would cost real money. Here it costs ₹95, and the flexibility is worth more — it is not close. Buy the kilogram, prove the line, come back; the price will be the same.
| Size | Price | Per gram | 200g candles @ 8% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15g | ₹105.02 | ₹7.00 | under 1 |
| 50g | ₹270 | ₹5.40 | ≈3 |
| 100g | ₹540 | ₹5.40 | ≈6 |
| 500g | ₹2,620 | ₹5.24 | ≈31 |
| 1kg | ₹5,221 | ₹5.221 | ≈62 |
| 5 × 1kg | ₹26,105 | ₹5.221 | ≈312 |
For the wider context: buying fragrance oils in bulk in India runs the same reasoning across the catalogue, how much fragrance oil a candle business needs works the consumption arithmetic back from your sales, and how to price candles in India in 2026 turns a ₹231.12 materials cost into a shelf price.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. The commercially convenient version of this page would invent a 5 kg pack, imply a trade tier and let you believe a discount was waiting behind a WhatsApp message. We have done none of those things: a buyer who costs a run on a number that does not exist finds out at the worst moment.
Every figure here is CSI live pricing, September 2026, linked to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. There is no fragrance-oil pack above 1 kg, and no published wholesale rate card, trade tier, volume slab, minimum order quantity or credit term. The 13% and 10% loads are the wax manufacturers' stated maximums for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and CSI 464 — formulation limits, not regulatory, and not interchangeable. The six-month inventory window is our editorial judgement, not CSI policy; CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers. Five are reviews of Lavender Fragrance Oil — Priyanka Purohit (5★, Sep 2026), Akansha (4★, Dec 2025), Anonymous (5★, Jul 2025), Tina Raha (4★, Jun 2025) and Judy Roy (5★, Dec 2025). The sixth, Renam Dhoundiyal (4★, Apr 2026), is recorded by Judge.me against Woody Oud Fragrance Oil and mentions the reviewer's lavender purchase. All six are recorded by Judge.me as verified buyers and are badged accordingly; names, ratings, dates and products are as Judge.me records them and wording is unedited. None of the six mentions a wholesale rate, a trade account, a bulk discount or a 5 kg purchase — they are product reviews, not pricing evidence.
The pack-size position, once more: CSI's fragrance-oil ladder is at most 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg across all 92 oils. No 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance-oil pack exists, and CSI publishes no wholesale rate card, trade tier, volume slab, minimum order quantity or credit term. Every "5 kg" figure here is an explicit multiplication of the 1 kg price, described as five separate 1 kg bottles.
Figures verified September 2026 (CSI live pricing). Lavender Fragrance Oil: ₹105.02/15g, ₹270/50g, ₹540/100g, ₹2,620/500g, ₹5,221/1kg — so 5 × ₹5,221 = ₹26,105, 10 × ₹2,620 = ₹26,200 (+₹95, +0.36%), 50 × ₹540 = ₹27,000 (+₹895, +3.43%) and 100 × ₹270 = ₹27,000. Lavender Cranberry Coconut: ₹133/15g, ₹399/50g, ₹799/100g, ₹3,999/500g, ₹7,999/1kg — 5 × ₹7,999 = ₹39,995, 10 × ₹3,999 = ₹39,990. Lavender Oud: ₹1,200/100g, ₹6,200/500g, ₹12,000/1kg, no 15 g or 50 g variant — 5 × ₹12,000 = ₹60,000, 10 × ₹6,200 = ₹62,000. 100% pure lavender essential oil ₹6,844/kg is an essential oil, not a candle fragrance oil, and is deliberately not linked; 5 × ₹6,844 = ₹34,220, ₹8,115 above the fragrance oil. Production run: 200 g candle at 8% of total candle weight = 16 g oil + 184 g wax, so 5,000 ÷ 16 = 312 candles and 312 × 184 g = 57.4 kg of wax; at 6% (12 g) 416 candles, at 10% (20 g) 250 candles; 250 candles at 6% needs 3 kg = ₹15,663 against 5 kg = ₹26,105, a ₹10,442 difference. Wax priced in real packs only, 58 kg as 5 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹5,074/10kg, ₹2,537/5kg, ₹507.40/1kg = ₹29,429.20; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹5,999/10kg, ₹2,995/5kg, ₹599/1kg = ₹34,787.00, a difference of ₹5,357.80; Eco Soy CSI 400 at ₹1,996/5kg and ₹399/1kg, 11 × 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg = ₹23,153.00. Vessels: 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar (golden lid) ₹2,950 per 100 (₹29.50 each), 4 packs = ₹11,800; 200 ml Salsa Red Glass Jar ₹6,200 per 100 (₹62.00 each), 4 packs = ₹24,800, a difference of ₹13,000. Wicks: Eco Candle Wicks Thick (C2) ₹944 per 100 (₹9.44 each), 4 packs = ₹3,776; Thin (C1) ₹590 per 100 (₹5.90 each), 4 packs = ₹2,360, a difference of ₹1,416. Wick stickers ₹100 per sheet of 40 (₹2.50 each), 10 sheets = ₹1,000; the 100-sticker sheet is out of stock on the pull date. Total raw materials ₹26,105.00 + ₹29,429.20 + ₹11,800.00 + ₹3,776.00 + ₹1,000.00 = ₹72,110.20, of which fragrance is 36.2% and the ₹95 pack-size saving is 0.13%; ₹72,110.20 ÷ 312 = ₹231.12 per candle, which carries the pack overage of 400 jars, 400 wicks, 400 stickers and 58 kg of wax against 312 candles and 57.4 kg. Comparison jars quoted for reference: Black Glass Jar with Black Lid 150 g at ₹1,070 per 10 (₹107.00 each) and White Matte Glass Jar at ₹708 per 10 (₹70.80 each); where a listing publishes no wax fill capacity, check it against your intended pour weight rather than assuming one. Fragrance load ceilings are the wax manufacturers' stated maximums — up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — and are formulation limits, not regulatory limits; the 13% figure does not apply to CSI 464, and no stated ceiling is published for Eco Soy CSI 400. The six-month single-scent inventory window and the 52-candles-a-month run rate derived from it are this article's editorial judgement, not CSI policy; CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils and none is asserted here. 92 fragrance oils were live in the collection on the pull date. GST invoicing is standard; MSDS and IFRA documentation are available on request on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
