How do I see the trigger without weighing? In bottles: 2.31 kg is 2 sealed 1 kg bottles plus about 307 g in the open one. When you open the second-to-last kilo and the open bottle is nearly done, order.

From 300 candles to grams a day
Your figure of 16 g per candle is the fragrance in one finished candle. At the CSI convention, where load is a share of the finished weight, 16 g is an 8% load in a 200 g candle, or 10% in a 160 g one; the trigger does not care which. What it does care about is whether 16 g is all that leaves the bottle. Usually it is not. Some oil stays on the jug wall, some goes into a test candle each batch, and occasionally a pour fails. This page adds a 3% allowance for that, a working assumption. If you have measured your own loss, use it; if 16 g is already your measured bottle-to-candle average, drop the allowance.

The year row is worth a look. A bestseller at this pace uses about 59.33 kg of one oil a year. That is the scale at which a reorder habit matters: a single week out of stock is 70 candles of your best product not made. It is also the scale at which the pack you buy starts to add up, which the bottle section below covers.
The trigger at every lead time
The title gives the sales and the dose but not the delivery time, and the delivery time is what moves the trigger most. CSI does not publish delivery times, so use your own record of how long orders have actually taken to arrive, not the best case. The buffer here is a fixed 7 days of use, 1.15 kg, a working assumption that covers a delivery running a week late or a week that sells double.

Every extra day of lead time adds one day of oil, 164.80 g, to the trigger. That makes the trigger easy to adjust when a supplier's timing changes: a delivery that has started taking 10 days instead of 7 needs 0.49 kg more on the shelf at the moment you order. It also shows why the buffer is worth its cost. Without it, the 7-day trigger would be 1.15 kg, and a delivery one day late means a day with no bestseller.
The trigger in bottles
If your bestseller lives in 1 kg bottles, the trigger of 2.31 kg means 2 sealed bottles on the shelf plus about 307 g left in the one you are pouring from. A practical version: the moment you open a new bottle and see only 2 sealed kilos behind it, you hold 3 kg, which is 692.80 g above the trigger, about 4.2 days. Put a card on the shelf at that point that says "order this week". When the open bottle is down to about 307 g with 2 sealed behind it, order that day.

A bottle-count rule is less precise than weighing but far more likely to be followed. It also works for anyone in your workshop, not just the person who knows the maths. If you keep your bestseller in a mix of 1 kg and 500 g bottles, write the trigger as a count of each on a card taped to the shelf.
How much to order at the trigger
The trigger tells you when. The order quantity is a separate choice about how often you want to order and how much cash you want on the shelf. It does not change the trigger. On Jasmine's listed prices, the per-gram rate is the same from one month to two: the 500 g and 1 kg are both about ₹3.92 a gram. So the order size is a convenience choice. Monthly means about 12 orders a year and a peak of about 6.15 kg on the shelf. Two-monthly halves the orders and doubles the peak. The largest listed bottle is 1 kg. For several kilos of one oil in a single order, ask on WhatsApp whether it can be quoted beyond the listed packs. No discount figure is published, so ask rather than assume one.
Choosing the bottle for a bestseller
At almost 60 kg a year, the per-gram price of your bestseller matters more than any other oil you buy. On CSI's listed catalogue the reliable saving is moving up from 15 g to 50 g or 100 g. Above 100 g most oils are flat, but 24 oils show a kilo saving of 5% or more. If your bestseller is one of them, the kilo is both the operational and the cheaper choice. Whatever your bestseller is, check its own product page: sizes go in and out of stock, and a missing kilo changes both the trigger in bottles and the order. If the size you plan around is out of stock on the day you hit the trigger, you are already eating into the buffer. That is one more reason to set the trigger with a buffer rather than without.
