100 jars at 200 g: check the jar before you buy the wax
This page is for a single, known order: one fragrance, one jar, 100 pieces. Perhaps a café wants its own candle on the counter, or a wedding family has asked for 100 matching jars as return gifts. With a fixed count, the one thing that can wreck the plan is whether your jar is really a 200 g jar.
Weigh a finished candle first
Jars are sold by nominal size, and makers fill to different heights. Before ordering, do a real test pour to your chosen line and weigh the finished candle minus the empty jar. That number, not the label, is your fill weight.
Say it comes out at 220 g. Each candle then needs 220 × 0.92 = 202.4 g of wax. For 100 candles that is 20.24 kg, and with 5% about 21.3 kg. The pack plan above buys 19.5 kg, so you would run dry after roughly 91 jars (19.5 kg ÷ 1.05 ÷ 202.4 g).
What running short costs: You top up with a different wax or a later bag, and the last jars look and smell different from the first. For a matched gift set, buy for the real fill weight in one order.
Where the test pour comes from
Use a 1 kg bag for testing. At 200 g it makes five candles, enough to check the fill weight, try the wick and burn one all the way down. If you already hold the full order, take the test pours out of it and remember that they come off the 100.
The small bag at the end
The plan above ends with a 500 g bag. It is ₹260.00, or ₹520.00 per kg, a little dearer than the ₹507.40 per kg of the larger CSI 464 packs. If your real fill weight pushes you higher, swapping that 500 g bag for a 1 kg bag costs little more and gives you a buffer.
