Fifty kilos of candle soy wax lists between ₹19,960 and ₹31,850 at CSI, and only one wax — Natural Soy Pearl — comes as a single 50 kg pack. This guide prices 50 kg of every soy wax, then follows the difference all the way to your margin on an example candle, so you can decide on cost and performance with the real numbers.
₹19,960–₹31,850
for 50 kg across five container soy & coconut-soy waxes · ≈271 × 200g candles · Natural Soy Pearl Wax 50 kg pack ₹21,240 · the whole spread is ₹43.76 inside one candle · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What is the bulk price of 50 kg soy wax in India? At CSI's listed prices: ₹19,960 for Eco Soy CSI 400 (10 × 5 kg), ₹21,240 for Natural Soy Pearl Wax (one 50 kg pack), ₹25,370 for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (5 × 10 kg), ₹29,950 for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (10 × 5 kg) and ₹31,850 for Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 (5 × 10 kg). Soy Pillar Wax is ₹30,000.

Is the 50 kg pack cheaper per kilo? Natural Soy Pearl's 50 kg pack lists at ₹424.80 a kilo — the same as its 5 kg and 10 kg bags. No soy wax shows a further listed step at 50 kg; bulk quotes are handled on WhatsApp.

How much does the wax choice change my margin? On an example ₹699 candle with ₹152.74 of oil, wick and jar, materials margin runs from 67.6% on Eco Soy CSI 400 to 61.4% on CSI 468. Between CSI 464 and Luxury Soy Chunks it is 2.4 points — ₹16.85 a candle.

Should I buy the cheapest 50 kg? Only if it can make your candle to the standard you sell at. The two cheapest options state no fragrance load; the two dearest state up to 13%. Pay for stated performance only where your recipe needs it.
The short answer
Read 50 kg as a margin decision: the gap between waxes is thousands of rupees on the order but a few percentage points on each candle.
Spend where a stated spec earns it: load headroom to 13%, stated temperatures, a stated 60-month shelf life for stock that will sit — or a premium coconut-soy positioning you actually charge for.
Save where it doesn't: if your recipe works at 8–10% in a lower-priced wax you have tested, 50 kg of it protects margin across all 271 candles.

An example ₹699 candle, five 50 kg waxes: the margin column barely moves 200g at 8% · Woody Oud 16g ₹72.50 + Eco C2 wick ₹9.44 + Black Matte jar ₹70.80 = other ₹152.74 · retail price is an example only ₹472.81margin 67.6% other ₹152.74 wax ₹73.45 Eco Soy CSI 400 ₹468.10margin 67.0% other ₹152.74 wax ₹78.16 Natural Soy Pearl ₹452.90margin 64.8% other ₹152.74 wax ₹93.36 Luxury Soy CSI 464 ₹436.04margin 62.4% other ₹152.74 wax ₹110.22 Luxury Soy Chunks ₹429.05margin 61.4% other ₹152.74 wax ₹117.21 Coconut Soy CSI 468
Each column is the same ₹699 example selling price. The black base is the wax at 50 kg pricing, the grey band is every other material, and the white block is what is left before packaging, GST, shipping, labour and marketing. From the cheapest 50 kg to the dearest, that white block shrinks by ₹43.76 — about 6.3 margin points.
Straight answer
What does 50 kg of soy wax cost in bulk in India, and which 50 kg is worth the money?
At CSI's September 2026 listed prices, 50 kg costs ₹19,960 for Eco Soy CSI 400 in ten 5 kg bags, ₹21,240 for Natural Soy Pearl Wax as the only single 50 kg pack, ₹25,370 for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, ₹29,950 for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks in ten 5 kg bags and ₹31,850 for Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468. The 50 kg pack lists at the same ₹424.80 a kilo as Natural Soy Pearl's 10 kg bag, so there is no further listed bulk step; larger or repeating orders are quoted on WhatsApp. Fifty kilos makes about 271 × 200g candles. On an example ₹699 candle with ₹152.74 of oil, wick and matte jar, the wax choice moves materials margin from 67.6% to 61.4% — ₹43.76 a candle, or ₹11,859 across 271 candles, at the extremes, and 2.4 points between CSI 464 and Luxury Soy Chunks. So choose on performance first: pay for a stated 13% ceiling, stated temperatures or a stated 60-month shelf life where your recipe and stock plan need them, and take the lower-priced wax wherever your tested recipe already works in it.
One line: 50 kg of soy wax lists at ₹19,960–₹31,850, but on a ₹699 example candle the whole range is about six margin points — buy the performance your candle needs, then the lowest price that delivers it.
Pricing 50 kg? Natural Soy Pearl Wax 50 kg ₹21,240, CSI 464 at ₹5,074 per 10 kg, Luxury Soy Chunks at ₹2,995 per 5 kg and CSI 468 at ₹6,370 per 10 kg — every pack is on the product pages.

50 kg soy wax bulk price, every wax

Fifty kilos is where bulk stops being a word and starts being a line in your cash-flow sheet. Start with the exact figure.

Only one CSI soy wax is listed in a 50 kg pack. For every other wax, 50 kg is a combination of listed bags — five 10 kg bags, or ten 5 kg bags where that route lists lower or is the largest pack available. The table uses the lowest listed route for each wax and puts the result inside one 200g candle at 8% (184g of wax).

Priced above: Eco Soy CSI 400 5 kg ₹1,996 × 10 = ₹19,960 · Natural Soy Pearl 50 kg ₹21,240 (10 kg ₹4,248 × 5 is identical) · CSI 464 10 kg ₹5,074 × 5 = ₹25,370 · Luxury Soy Chunks 5 kg ₹2,995 × 10 = ₹29,950 (10 kg ₹5,999 × 5 = ₹29,995) · CSI 468 10 kg ₹6,370 × 5 = ₹31,850. Wax per candle = per-kg price × 0.184. Soy Pillar Wax (₹6,000 × 5 = ₹30,000) is a pillar wax and is priced separately below; Premium Coconut Soy Wax lists only to 1 kg (₹920) and is not a 50 kg buy.

The five container options span ₹11,890 on 50 kg. That is a real cheque. Inside a single 200g candle it is ₹43.76 — ₹11,859 across the 271 candles the order makes. What matters is how that compares with everything else in the candle, which is what the rest of this guide works out.

Notice the last two columns too. The two lowest-priced waxes state the least: Eco Soy CSI 400 states an add temperature but no load, and Natural Soy Pearl Wax states neither. The three higher-priced waxes state a fragrance ceiling, temperatures and — for CSI 464 and CSI 468 — a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. At 50 kg, stock may sit for weeks or months, so that last line has more value than it does on a 1 kg pack.

One 50 kg pack or five bags: what the listing shows

Natural Soy Pearl Wax is the only soy wax a buyer can order as one 50 kg pack, at ₹21,240. It is natural to assume that pack carries a bulk price. The listing says otherwise: its per-kilo price is ₹450 at 1 kg and ₹424.80 at 5 kg, 10 kg and 50 kg alike. The step happens once, at 5 kg, and never again.

Natural Soy Pearl Wax · every listed route to 50 kg
The 50 kg pack is a format choice, not a cheaper price
Route Packs to open Listed total Per kg Choose it when
1 × 50 kg pack 1 ₹21,240 ₹424.80 You melt large batches and can reseal one big pack well
5 × 10 kg bags 5 ₹21,240 ₹424.80 You melt 10 kg loads and want most stock sealed
10 × 5 kg bags 10 ₹21,240 ₹424.80 Small workshop, manual handling, smaller melts
50 × 1 kg packs 50 ₹22,500 ₹450 Never for 50 kg — ₹1,260 more for the same wax

The same pattern holds across the range. CSI 464, Soy Pillar Wax and CSI 468 list the same per-kilo price at 5 kg and 10 kg, so five 10 kg bags and ten 5 kg bags cost the same. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks list ₹599 a kilo in 5 kg bags and ₹599.90 in 10 kg bags, which makes ten 5 kg bags ₹45 cheaper than five 10 kg bags on 50 kg. In every case the bag size is a handling decision. What 50 kg means for your melter, your storage and your cash is set out in buying 50 kg of soy wax.

The mistake: treating "bulk price" as something the cart should give you. At 50 kg, a buyer who expects a lower per-kilo figure than the 10 kg bag will not find it in the listing — on any soy wax. That is not a reason to buy less or to shop pack sizes; it is a reason to separate two conversations. At listed prices, the cheapest way to 50 kg is shown above. For a repeating or larger order, ask CSI on WhatsApp for a quote with your wax, kilos, frequency, pincode and GST number — the method for judging that quote is in the 25 kg wholesale price guide.

What 50 kg of each wax does to your margin

A bulk price is only interesting because of what it leaves you after the candle is sold. So price the candle.

To see what the wax choice does to margin, hold everything else fixed. The example candle below is a 200g container candle at 8% in a Black Matte Glass Jar (₹70.80 each in a pack of 10; the page states a fill weight of 200 ml, so check your own fill), with 16g of Woody Oud Fragrance Oil at its 1 kg price (₹4,531.20, so ₹72.50) and one Eco Candle Wick Thick (C2) at ₹9.44. Those non-wax materials come to ₹152.74.

The selling prices of ₹499 and ₹699 are examples only — not recommendations and not market data. Margin here means materials margin: selling price minus wax, oil, wick and jar. It is before labels, boxes, GST, shipping, payment fees, rejects, labour and marketing, all of which you must take out of it.

Eco Soy CSI 400 (₹73.45 wax) ₹226.19 ₹272.81 · 54.7% ₹472.81 · 67.6% ₹1,28,130.97
Natural Soy Pearl Wax (₹78.16) ₹230.90 ₹268.10 · 53.7% ₹468.10 · 67.0% ₹1,26,854.45
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (₹93.36) ₹246.10 ₹252.90 · 50.7% ₹452.90 · 64.8% ₹1,22,735.68
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (₹110.22) ₹262.96 ₹236.04 · 47.3% ₹436.04 · 62.4% ₹1,18,168.14

Working for one row, CSI 464: wax ₹507.40 × 0.184 = ₹93.36; plus ₹152.74 = ₹246.10 of materials; ₹699 − ₹246.10 = ₹452.90, which is 64.8% of ₹699; × 271 candles = ₹1,22,735.68. Every other row follows the same steps. The oil line is worth noticing: ₹72.50 of Woody Oud is almost the same as the jar, and on the two cheapest waxes it costs about as much as the wax itself. At 50 kg you will need about 4.3 kg of oil at 8% — enough that the oil pack sizes deserve as much attention as the wax, as how much fragrance oil a candle business needs explains.

Use your own selling price and your own jar
The example candle uses a ₹70.80 matte jar because it makes the arithmetic concrete. A ₹29.50 jar would raise every margin figure by ₹41.30; a heavier premium vessel would lower them. The gaps between the waxes do not change when you change the jar, oil or selling price — ₹16.85 between CSI 464 and Luxury Soy Chunks, ₹43.76 between Eco Soy CSI 400 and CSI 468 — but the margin percentages do. Rebuild the table with your real costs before you draw a conclusion about your brand.

Margin points, not rupees per kilo

Rupees per kilo is how wax is sold; margin points are how a business survives. Converting one into the other is the most useful thing you can do before a 50 kg order, because it tells you whether a price difference is strategic or trivial.

What a wax switch costs at 50 kg · example ₹699 candle
Switching wax, in rupees on the order, per candle, in margin points — and the retail rise that would cover it
Switch Extra on 50 kg (listed) Extra per candle Margin points lost at ₹699 Retail rise that keeps the same rupee margin
Natural Soy Pearl → CSI 464 ₹4,130 ₹15.20 2.2 ₹15.20 (2.2%)
CSI 464 → Luxury Soy Chunks ₹4,580 ₹16.85 2.4 ₹16.85 (2.4%)
Luxury Soy Chunks → CSI 468 ₹1,900 ₹6.99 1.0 ₹6.99 (1.0%)
Natural Soy Pearl → CSI 468 ₹10,610 ₹39.04 5.6 ₹39.04 (5.6%)
Eco Soy CSI 400 → CSI 468 ₹11,890 ₹43.76 6.3 ₹43.76 (6.3%)

Working: extra on 50 kg = difference in listed 50 kg totals (for example ₹29,950 − ₹25,370 = ₹4,580); extra per candle = per-kilo difference × 0.184 (₹91.60 × 0.184 = ₹16.85); margin points = extra per candle ÷ ₹699 × 100. Holding the same rupee margin needs a retail rise equal to the extra per candle. Holding the same percentage margin needs more: to keep CSI 464's 64.8% on a Luxury Soy Chunks candle, the example ₹699 would have to become about ₹747, because the higher cost base is also marked up. Most brands price to a rupee figure and a round retail point, so the rupee column is the practical one.

Read down the "extra per candle" column and a pattern appears. The move from Luxury Soy Chunks to CSI 468 — the "premium" step — costs under ₹7 a candle. The move from CSI 464 to Luxury Soy Chunks, which is the move from a stated 10% ceiling to a stated 13% ceiling, costs ₹16.85. The move from an unstated-spec wax to a stated-spec wax (Natural Soy Pearl → CSI 464) costs ₹15.20. None of these is small enough to ignore across 271 candles; none is large enough to make or break a well-priced candle on its own.

Paying for a premium wax and then not charging for it. CSI 468 is the dearest 50 kg in this guide and its product name calls it a premium coconut-soy wax. If your label, jar and price say "everyday candle", the ₹43.76 a candle it costs over Eco Soy CSI 400 comes straight out of your margin — ₹11,859 over 50 kg — and the customer never knows it was there. If you choose a premium wax, let it show up in the product: the name on the label, the jar, the story and the retail price. What makes coconut-soy feel premium is discussed in what makes coconut wax candles feel more premium.

Choosing on cost versus performance

"Performance" is a slippery word on a wax page, so here it means only what can be pinned down: what the product page states, and what your own burn tests show. The table lists the performance reasons that genuinely justify a dearer 50 kg, and the lower-priced option to take when that reason does not apply to you.

Cost vs performance at 50 kg · stated specifications only
When paying more for 50 kg is justified — and when it isn't
If your candle needs… Waxes that state it Extra per candle vs lowest-priced option If it doesn't, consider
A recipe above 10% load Luxury Soy Chunks, CSI 468 (up to 13%) ₹16.85–₹23.85 vs CSI 464 CSI 464 (stated up to 10%)
A stated fragrance ceiling at all CSI 464 (10%), Chunks and CSI 468 (13%) ₹15.20 (CSI 464) vs Natural Soy Pearl Natural Soy Pearl or Eco Soy CSI 400, once your own tests set the load
A stated shelf life for stock that will sit CSI 464, CSI 468 (60 months, cool and dry) ₹15.20 (CSI 464) vs Natural Soy Pearl Any wax, bought in smaller drops and rotated first-in, first-out
A lower stated pour temperature CSI 468 (pour 58–60°C) ₹23.85 vs CSI 464 The waxes stated at 70–90°C
A premium coconut-soy positioning CSI 468 ₹6.99 vs Luxury Soy Chunks Luxury Soy Chunks, if your price point is not premium
A freestanding pillar Soy Pillar Wax (made for pillar moulds; no load stated) ₹600/kg · ₹30,000 for 50 kg Not a container wax — do not substitute either way

The honest conclusion is that most of these are yes/no questions about your recipe, not matters of taste. If your best-selling scent needs 11%, CSI 464 is not an option at any price. If your recipe works at 8% and you pour within a month of delivery, the stated shelf life and headroom are not doing anything for you, and the lower-priced waxes you have tested win on margin. The one question that genuinely involves judgement is positioning, and that one is settled by the price you can actually charge. For how the waxes compare on finish and fragrance handling beyond the stated numbers, see which candle wax works best with premium fragrance oils.

The CSI principle
Buy the performance your candle needs. Then buy it at the lowest price that delivers it.
At 50 kg the price gap between soy waxes is big enough to notice and small enough to overthink. Settle the non-negotiables first — load, format, shelf life, positioning — and let price choose only among the waxes that pass. That order never costs you a candle.

1
Container · the only single 50 kg pack
Natural Soy Pearl Wax
The 50 kg buy for a maker who has already proven it. At ₹21,240 for one 50 kg pack it is the second-lowest 50 kg in the range and the simplest to receive. Its page describes it as suitable for a variety of container types and candle designs and states no fragrance load, melt point or pour temperature, so every number in your recipe must come from your own tests. If you have not run it in your jar, a 1 kg pack at ₹450 comes first; 271 candles is too many to learn on.

Container · stated specs at the lower price
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (Flakes)
The lowest-priced 50 kg that states a fragrance ceiling (up to 10%), temperatures (melt and pour both stated as 80–90°C) and a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage — three things that matter more when 271 candles' worth of wax sits in your store room. It is designed for single-pour container candles. At ₹25,370 for five 10 kg bags it keeps 64.8% materials margin on the example candle.

Container · headroom to 13%
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks for Jar / Container Candles
The 50 kg for a range that includes recipes above 10%. Its page states a load of 8% to 13%, with 10% recommended, fragrance added at 80–90°C and a pour at 70–80°C. Buy 50 kg as ten 5 kg bags (₹29,950) rather than five 10 kg bags (₹29,995): ₹45 cheaper, and each opened bag is smaller. The ₹16.85 a candle over CSI 464 is the cost of the extra headroom; pay it where a recipe uses it.

4
Container · premium coconut-soy
Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 (Flakes)
The dearest 50 kg in the comparison at ₹31,850, and the one with the most distinctive stated profile: fragrance load up to 13%, melting point 50–53°C, pour 58–60°C, 60-month shelf life, for single-pour container applications. Its per-kilo price steps down from ₹650 to ₹637 at 5 kg and stays there at 10 kg. It costs ₹6.99 a candle more than Luxury Soy Chunks — the cheapest step in the whole range — so if you have already chosen a 13% wax for a premium line, the question is positioning, not price.

Buying 50 kg without buying the wrong 50 kg

A 50 kg order is ₹19,960 to ₹31,850 committed to one recipe decision. The sequence below keeps that decision cheap to make and expensive only once it is right.

1
Shortlist by stated specificationUse the cost-versus-performance table to strike out waxes that cannot make your candle — a ceiling below your load, a pillar wax for a jar, a shelf life you need but the page doesn't state.
2
Test the two finalists at 1 kgPour the same scent, jar, wick and load in both. Cure, burn and log. Two 1 kg packs cost ₹957.40 for CSI 464 and Natural Soy Pearl, or ₹1,249 for Luxury Soy Chunks and CSI 468 — roughly 4–5% of the 50 kg order each pair protects.
3
Rebuild the margin table with your real numbersYour jar, your oil at the pack size you actually buy, your wick, your selling price. Add labels, boxes, GST and shipping. Note the rupee difference per candle between the finalists.
4
Run one 10 kg production batchFifty-four candles from the winner, sold to real customers. If returns or rejects appear, you have lost a 10 kg bag's worth of learning, not 50 kg.
5
Order 50 kg by the cheapest listed route — or ask for a quoteUse the lowest route from the price table, check the product page on the day, and if 50 kg will repeat, send the wax, kilos, frequency, pincode and GST number on WhatsApp first.

A note on storage, because it bears on the price decision: 50 kg is about five months of wax for a maker pouring 10 kg a month. If that describes you, the stated 60-month shelf life on CSI 464 and CSI 468 is worth something, and cool, dry, sealed storage matters whichever wax you choose. If you pour 50 kg a month, you are closer to the planning problems in buying 100 kg of soy wax a month, and splitting deliveries matters more than shelf life.

Fifty kilos of the right wax is a margin decision you make once. Fifty kilos of the wrong wax is a margin decision you make 271 times.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. That is why this guide can show margin honestly: we do not sell the candle, so we have no interest in flattering its selling price. The ₹499 and ₹699 figures are examples to make the arithmetic concrete, and the guide's conclusion — take the lower-priced wax wherever your tested recipe works in it — is not the answer a supplier chasing a bigger order would give.

Every price, pack size and specification on this page comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Fragrance loads, temperatures and shelf life are quoted only where the product page states them — up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468, up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — and loads are wax formulation limits, not regulatory limits. No 50 kg price below the listed figures is implied.

Frequently asked questions

What is the bulk price of 50 kg soy wax in India?
At CSI's September 2026 listed prices, 50 kg costs ₹19,960 for Eco Soy CSI 400 (10 × 5 kg), ₹21,240 for Natural Soy Pearl Wax (one 50 kg pack), ₹25,370 for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, ₹29,950 for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (10 × 5 kg) and ₹31,850 for Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468. Soy Pillar Wax is ₹30,000. That is ₹399.20 to ₹637 a kilo; repeating orders are quoted on WhatsApp.
Which soy wax is sold in a 50 kg pack?
Natural Soy Pearl Wax is the only CSI soy wax listed as a single 50 kg pack, at ₹21,240. That is ₹424.80 a kilo — the same as its 5 kg and 10 kg bags. Its page states no fragrance load or temperatures, so test a 1 kg pack in your own jar first. Every other soy wax reaches 50 kg as five 10 kg bags or ten 5 kg bags.
How many candles can I make from 50 kg of soy wax?
At an 8% load a 200g candle uses 184g of wax, so 50 kg makes about 271 candles; at 10% it is about 277. Those candles need roughly 4.3 kg of fragrance oil at 8%, plus 271 wicks and jars. Set aside a 3–5% planning allowance for wax left in the melter, top-ups and rejects when you plan sales against the order.
How much does soy wax price affect candle profit margin?
Less than the bag price suggests. On an example 200g candle selling at ₹699 with ₹152.74 of oil, wick and jar, materials margin is 67.6% on Eco Soy CSI 400, 64.8% on CSI 464, 62.4% on Luxury Soy Chunks and 61.4% on CSI 468 at 50 kg prices. Switching from CSI 464 to Luxury Soy Chunks costs ₹16.85 a candle, or 2.4 points. Rebuild this with your own jar, oil and selling price.
When is a dearer soy wax worth it on a 50 kg order?
Only for a reason your candle uses. Pay for a stated 13% ceiling (Luxury Soy Chunks, CSI 468) if a recipe needs more than 10%; for a stated 60-month shelf life (CSI 464, CSI 468) if 50 kg will sit for months; and for coconut-soy CSI 468 if your price is premium. If your tested recipe works in a lower-priced wax, buying 50 kg of it protects margin on every candle.
Can I get a lower price than ₹21,240 for 50 kg?
₹21,240 is the listed price of Natural Soy Pearl Wax's 50 kg pack, and it matches the per-kilo price of its 10 kg bag — the listing shows no further step at 50 kg. For a repeating or larger order, message CSI on WhatsApp with the wax, quantity, frequency, pincode and GST number and ask for a quote. This guide does not predict what that quote will be.

Selling prices of ₹499 and ₹699 are examples, not recommendations or market data; materials margin excludes packaging, labels, GST, shipping, fees, rejects, labour and marketing. Margin points = extra wax cost per candle ÷ ₹699 × 100; retail needed to hold CSI 464's 64.8% on Luxury Soy Chunks ≈ ₹262.96 ÷ (1 − 0.648) ≈ ₹747. Stated on product pages: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 8–13% (10% recommended), add 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C; CSI 464 up to 10%, melt and pour 80–90°C, shelf life 60 months (cool, dry storage); CSI 468 up to 13%, melt 50–53°C, pour 58–60°C, shelf life 60 months (cool, dry storage); Eco Soy CSI 400 add fragrance at 80–90°C (85°C), stir 2 minutes; Natural Soy Pearl Wax and Soy Pillar Wax state no load or temperatures. Candle maths: 200g at 8% = 184g wax + 16g oil; 50,000g ÷ 184g = 271.7 (271 candles); oil for 50 kg wax at 8% = 50 × 8 ÷ 92 ≈ 4.35 kg. Two 1 kg tests: ₹507.40 + ₹450 = ₹957.40; ₹599 + ₹650 = ₹1,249.
