Choosing a standard pack when bulk barely saves
The maker asking this question has a running business and wants a buying habit: one pack size, ordered on a rhythm. The instinct is to go as large as possible. On CSI's listed prices, that instinct is usually wrong, or at least not worth much.
Where bigger bags actually save
Only two waxes get cheaper per kilogram in larger packs. Natural Soy Pearl Wax saves ₹2,520.00 on 100 kg bought in 50 kg bags instead of 1 kg bags, and CSI 468 saves ₹1,300.00 on 100 kg in 10 kg bags. For CSI 464 and Soy Pillar Wax, pack size makes no difference per kilogram from 1 kg upwards, and on Luxury Soy Wax Chunks the 10 kg bag costs slightly more than smaller packs. One buyer on the Soy Pillar Wax page put it plainly: "Hope to get some discount in future for bulk buys". Above the listed packs, that is what a WhatsApp quote is for.
Choose by how long a bag stays open
If price does not decide, handling does. Pick the pack you will empty within a few weeks of opening. A 10 kg bag used over two months in the monsoon spends a long time half open. A maker pouring 25 candles of 200 g a month uses 25 × 184 g plus 5%, about 4.8 kg, so a 5 kg bag fits the month.
Freight changes the answer
The other cost is delivery. One reviewer of Premium Coconut Soy Wax wrote that "the delivery charges are very high which is restricting me". Fewer, larger orders may cost less in freight than many small ones, even when the wax price per kilogram is flat. You only find out by asking; delivery times are confirmed on WhatsApp rather than quoted on the site, and freight is best checked there too.
Fix the product first
A standard pack is only useful if the wax stays the same. Decide the wax, keep a retained candle from each delivery, and change packs, not products, as you grow.
