Where to Buy Professional Wax for Commercial Mould Candle Production

Can I use container soy wax for pillars? No — it is too soft.
How to harden soy wax? Add microcrystalline at 3–7% for pillars.
Cheapest pillar wax? Semi-refined paraffin at ₹220.00/kg.
Commercial mould production needs a wax that behaves the same in every mould, every week. This page is the sourcing checklist.

Keep a reference pillar from every bag: running quality control on mould wax
Commercial mould work fails quietly. One week the pillars release a little stiffly, the next the surface is duller, and by the time a stockist complains you cannot say which delivery caused it. The answer is a simple routine that ties every candle back to the wax it came from.
A reference pillar per bag
When you open a new bag, pour one small pillar from it in a standard mould with no fragrance or dye. Label it with the date and the order it came from. Keep it on a shelf with the others. If a batch misbehaves later, pour another from the suspect bag and compare it with the references. Differences in colour, surface or hardness are easy to see when they sit side by side.
Also keep a handful of unmelted chunks from each bag in a labelled jar. If you ever need to raise a question with CSI, you have the material to discuss.
Agree the basics in writing
Soy Pillar Wax does not publish a melt point or fragrance load, so there is no data sheet to hold a delivery against. Make your own. Send CSI a WhatsApp message on +91 7397976926 listing the product, the pack sizes you order and your recipe, and ask them to flag any change to the wax. For orders above the listed 10 kg pack, get the quote and the dispatch timing in the same thread. Ask for a GST invoice with every order if your accounts need one.
Storage that keeps wax consistent
Store bags off the floor, away from walls that take the afternoon sun, and sealed against monsoon humidity. Use the oldest bag first, and write the arrival date on each one as it comes in. Wax that has sat through a hot summer beside a tin roof can behave differently from wax that arrived last week.
Standardise the moulds too
Consistency is not only a wax question. Identical moulds, the same micro percentage, the same pour order and the same release time make faults traceable. Keep a spare set of your best-selling mould so one damaged mould does not stall a line.

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We publish every pack price, so every per-kilogram and per-candle figure here can be checked against the product pages — including the ones that show a bigger bag is not cheaper.
Prices are taken from live CSI stock in September 2026. Where a product page does not publish a specification, this guide says so rather than filling the gap.

Assumptions: Fragrance load 8% of total candle weight, so wax is 92% of the fill (a 200 g candle = 184 g wax + 16 g oil). Order plans add a 5% wastage allowance (10% where stated for festive buffers). "Cheapest listed packs" is the lowest-cost combination of listed pack sizes, preferring fewer bags when prices tie within a few rupees. Candle counts are rounded down. Costs are core materials only and exclude jar, label, packaging, labour, freight and GST unless stated. Wax stated fragrance maximums are the wax maker's formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Pack sizes not listed on the store (2, 20, 25, 100 kg) are shown as combinations of listed packs; larger quantities are quoted on WhatsApp. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November.
