Commercial Buying Guides · Coffee
CSI's fragrance-oil ladder stops at 1 kg, so 5 kg means five 1 kg bottles and the price is simply five times the bottle. The number that actually decides your bill is not the quantity — it is which of the four coffee oils you commit to.
₹18,690 – ₹64,000
the same 5 kg, four different CSI coffee oils · five × 1 kg, not one 5 kg pack · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI sell a 5 kg pack of coffee fragrance oil? No. Across all 92 oils the variant ladder is at most 15g / 50g / 100g / 500g / 1kg. There is no 5 kg SKU. Buying 5 kg means adding five 1 kg bottles to the cart.
What does 5 kg cost? Five times the 1 kg price. Roasted Coffee 5 × ₹3,738 = ₹18,690. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 5 × ₹8,599 = ₹42,995. Moca Coffee 5 × ₹11,200 = ₹56,000. Coffee Blast 5 × ₹12,800 = ₹64,000.
Does the price drop because I am buying 5 kg? Not on the website, no. The cart charges five times the 1 kg price. CSI publishes no slab, no bulk rate, no MOQ and no credit term, so do not budget for a discount that has not been quoted to you. If you are buying at this volume, ask on WhatsApp for a quote and work from the answer you get.
So what should I decide first? Which coffee. The same 5 kg costs ₹18,690 or ₹64,000 depending only on the oil you choose — a ₹45,310 swing. No volume negotiation in Indian candle supply moves a number that size.
The oil decides the bill, not the quantity. At 8% in a 200g candle, Roasted Coffee puts ₹59.81 of fragrance in the jar and Coffee Blast puts ₹204.80 — ₹144.99 apart on every candle you pour.
Two of the four have no volume discount at all. Coffee Blast and Moca Coffee are flat per gram, so their kilogram saves exactly ₹0 against two 500g packs and five kilograms save ₹0 against ten. Roasted Coffee's kilogram saves ₹42.
Identical quantity, identical use, four CSI coffee oils. The bar lengths are the prices: 5 × ₹3,738, 5 × ₹8,599, 5 × ₹11,200 and 5 × ₹12,800. The gap between the top bar and the bottom one is ₹45,310 — and nothing in this picture is a quantity decision. CSI live pricing, September 2026.
Can I buy 5 kg of coffee fragrance oil from CSI, and what does it cost?
You can buy 5 kg, but not as a 5 kg pack — no such SKU exists. The fragrance-oil ladder across all 92 oils in the fragrance oils collection tops out at 1 kg, so 5 kg is five 1 kg bottles and the price is five times the bottle: Roasted Coffee 5 × ₹3,738 = ₹18,690; Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 5 × ₹8,599 = ₹42,995; Moca Coffee 5 × ₹11,200 = ₹56,000; Coffee Blast 5 × ₹12,800 = ₹64,000. The cart does not discount you for reaching 5 kg, and CSI publishes no slab, rate, MOQ or credit term — if you want a volume quote, ask for one on WhatsApp rather than assuming one exists. The more useful finding is the spread. The same 5 kg costs ₹18,690 or ₹64,000 depending only on which coffee you pick — ₹45,310 apart. That decision is worth more than any bulk term you are likely to be offered, so make it deliberately, and read how bulk fragrance buying actually works in India before you commit the money.
One line: CSI has no 5 kg fragrance pack — 5 kg is five 1 kg bottles at five times the price, and the oil you choose swings that bill by ₹45,310 while the quantity swings it by almost nothing.
Before you commit ₹18,690 or ₹64,000, buy the small sizes and burn them side by side. Roasted Coffee 100g ₹390 against Coffee Blast 100g ₹1,280 is ₹1,670 and answers the only question that matters.
What 5 kg actually costs — and what it does not cost
Most people searching for a 5 kg pack are looking for a lower rate. The honest answer is that there is no 5 kg pack, and the rate barely moves.
Start with the pack sizes, because everything else follows from them. CSI stocks 92 fragrance oils and the variant ladder on every one is at most 15g / 50g / 100g / 500g / 1kg. Not all oils carry all five — Coffee Vanilla Tobacco starts at 50g and has no 15g bottle. What none of them has is a pack above a kilogram. There is no 5 kg drum, no 5 kg jerry can and no 5 kg SKU to add to the cart. Buying 5 kg means buying the 1 kg bottle five times, and the invoice reads five times the bottle price.
That also makes the pricing unusually easy to check. Every figure in the table below is the live 1 kg variant price multiplied by five, verifiable on the four product pages in under a minute.
5 kg of coffee fragrance oil · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Five 1 kg bottles. The multiplication is the whole method.
Read the last column again. ₹64,000 − ₹18,690 = ₹45,310. That is the difference between two orders for the same weight of the same kind of oil, both described on the label as coffee, both bought on the same day from the same supplier. Coffee has the widest spread of any scent family CSI stocks: Coffee Blast is 3.42 times Roasted Coffee per gram. Nothing you could realistically negotiate on quantity comes close to that. If you have been treating the oil as interchangeable and the quantity as the lever, you have the decision the wrong way round.
The mistake this page exists to stop. A maker budgets "5 kg of coffee oil, about ₹20,000", picks the oil on the product photograph, and discovers at checkout that it is ₹64,000. Or the reverse: they budget ₹64,000, buy Coffee Blast because it costs the most and must therefore be best, and only afterwards learn that Roasted Coffee — the one with genuine verified reviews behind it — would have done the job for ₹18,690. Price the oil first. Decide the quantity second. The order in which you make those two decisions is worth more than either of them.
On asking for a bulk rate
The website charges five times the 1 kg price at 5 kg. CSI does not publish a volume slab, a bulk rate card, a minimum order quantity or a credit term, and this page is not going to invent one for you. If you are buying at this level, message +91 7397976926 with the oil, the quantity and your delivery pin code and ask what can be done — then budget on the reply, not on the hope. MSDS and IFRA documentation and GST invoicing are available on the same number.
The four coffee oils, priced per candle
A five-figure fragrance bill is abstract. The number you manage is the fragrance cost inside one jar, next to wax, wick, vessel, label and freight. Every figure below assumes a 200g finished candle at an 8% fragrance load — 16g of oil and 184g of wax — costed at the 1 kg tier. Fragrance percentage on CSI pages is a share of total candle weight, not of the wax; settle that convention before you order, because everything downstream moves with it.

₹144.99 on every single candle. Not on the order, not on the month — on each jar, every time you pour one. Five kilograms at 16g a candle pours 312 candles and leaves 8g in the bottle, so the gap compounds to 312 × ₹144.99 = ₹45,237.50, and the last 8g accounts for the remaining ₹72.50. That reconciles exactly to the ₹45,310 difference between the two 5 kg orders, which is a useful sanity check on your own spreadsheet: the per-candle gap times the candle count, plus the leftover, must equal the pack-level gap.
Put it against a retail price and it stops being abstract. If your 200g candle sells at ₹599 — your number, not ours — fragrance is 10.0% of retail with Roasted Coffee and 34.2% with Coffee Blast. The dearer candle has to earn that back through price or through reorders. Sometimes it genuinely does, but that is a positioning decision to make with a burn test in front of you, not a default. Gourmand · the volume coffee
Roasted Coffee Fragrance
The cheapest coffee in the range by a wide margin and the only one of the four with published customer reviews behind it — three, including two Judge.me verified purchases, quoted at the top of this page. It is also the only coffee here whose kilogram carries any volume advantage at all. If you are buying 5 kg of coffee oil and have not tested the alternatives, this is the default.
A composed scent rather than a single note: coffee over vanilla and tobacco, which gives it a heavier base than a straight coffee and a different commercial position — this is a hamper and gifting scent rather than a budget shelf candle. It has no 15g variant, so the smallest test buy is 50g at ₹449. Its kilogram does carry a real, if small, advantage: ₹199 against two 500g packs.
Three times Roasted Coffee per gram and flat at ₹11.20 per gram from the 50g bottle all the way to the kilogram. That flatness is the point: there is no tier at which Moca Coffee gets cheaper, so scaling up buys convenience and fewer parcels, not a better rate. A 5 kg commitment is ₹56,000 at exactly the per-gram price you would pay for 50g.

Coffee Blast
The dearest coffee CSI stocks at ₹12.80 per gram, and like Moca Coffee it is flat per gram from 100g upward — 100g, 500g and 1 kg all cost exactly ₹12.80 a gram, so fifty 100g bottles and five 1 kg bottles both come to ₹64,000. If you want this oil, buying more of it does not make it cheaper. It has to earn the ₹204.80 it puts into every 200g candle through what the customer pays or reorders, and that is a question a burn test answers for ₹216.

The CSI principle
At this volume the scent is the purchase order. The quantity is only the arithmetic that follows it.
Five kilograms of the wrong coffee is a ₹45,310 mistake that no supplier term can refund you out of. Five kilograms of the right one is the cheapest part of the decision.
Buying for Diwali on 8 November 2026? Fragrance has to be chosen, tested and ordered early enough to pour and cure before dispatch. Bulk enquiries, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation all go through one number.
On two of the four coffee oils, buying five kilograms instead of ten 500g packs saves you exactly nothing. Not a little. Nothing.
Most bulk-buying guides skip this, so here it is with the numbers attached. Across CSI's fragrance range the kilogram bottle saves between minus ₹1 and plus ₹499 against two 500g packs — a 0% to 6.7% band. On several oils the kilogram is a convenience purchase rather than a discount, and on one it is a rupee dearer. Coffee sits at the flat end of that distribution.

Look at the bottom two rows. Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast are priced flat per gram — ₹11.20 and ₹12.80 respectively — at every size a serious buyer would use. Fifty 100g bottles of Coffee Blast cost ₹64,000. Ten 500g packs cost ₹64,000. Five kilogram bottles cost ₹64,000. The only thing scale buys you on these two oils is fewer bottles to open and fewer batch codes to track. Those are real conveniences. They are not a discount, and anyone planning a ₹64,000 order on the assumption that the rate will improve at volume should reset that assumption now.
Roasted Coffee is the one coffee with a genuine tier structure, and even there it is modest: the kilogram saves ₹42 against two 500g packs, so five kilograms save ₹210 against ten 500g packs — 1.1% — and ₹810 against fifty 100g bottles. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco saves ₹199 per kilogram, so ₹995 across five. Those are worth taking, and they are also roughly one-fiftieth of the swing you create by choosing a different oil. The structure of the price list is telling you where the money is, and it is not in the pack size.
Why "wholesale" language misleads here. In most raw-material categories the per-unit price falls as the box gets bigger, and makers reasonably import that expectation into fragrance. It does not transfer: the cost that dominates a fragrance oil is the concentrate, not the bottle or the handling, which is why a ₹12,800 per kilogram oil stays ₹12.80 a gram at every size. Wax, where packaging and freight are a larger share, does drop — Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is ₹520 per kg in a 500g pack and ₹507.40 per kg from 1 kg upward. Read the two as different markets, because they behave like different markets. More in the wholesale fragrance buyers' guide and how premium brands buy fragrance wholesale.
What 5 kg makes, and the wax that has to sit beside it
Five kilograms is a production commitment, not a shelf item, so size it in finished candles. Load on CSI product pages is a percentage of total finished candle weight: a 200g candle at 8% is 16g of oil plus 184g of wax, and the table below uses that convention throughout. If your recipe sheet expresses load as a percentage of the wax instead, convert before you order — the two conventions give different gram figures, and that is the commonest reason a bulk fragrance order comes out wrong.

One caution on the right-hand column. 13% is available to you only on a wax formulated to hold it.Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are rated by the wax maker up to 13%; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is rated up to 10%. Those are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer — the maximum the wax will hold in solution — not regulatory limits, and they are not interchangeable between waxes. Pouring 13% into a wax rated for 10% does not give you a stronger candle; it gives you oil that never binds. Work to the figure stated for the wax you actually bought.
1
The wax: 57.4 kg312 candles at 184g of wax each is 57,408g — 57.4 kg. Bought in real CSI pack sizes that is five 10 kg packs, one 5 kg and three 1 kg packs of CSI 464 flakes: 5 × ₹5,074 + ₹2,537 + 3 × ₹507.40 = ₹29,429.20 for 58 kg, with a little over half a kilogram spare. If you need the 13% headroom instead, the same 58 kg in Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is 5 × ₹5,999 + ₹2,995 + 3 × ₹599 = ₹34,787.
2
The wicks: 320One per candle, plus a margin for test burns. Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) are ₹5.90 each at every pack size, so three 100-wick packs at ₹590 and one 20-wick pack at ₹118 gives you 320 wicks for ₹1,888. Thick (C2) at ₹9.44 each would be ₹3,020.80 for the same count. Which one you need is set by your jar's internal diameter, not by the oil — the wick guide by diameter covers it.
3
The total raw-material commitmentFragrance plus wax plus wicks, before vessels, labels and freight: with Roasted Coffee, ₹18,690 + ₹29,429.20 + ₹1,888 = ₹50,007.20. With Coffee Blast, ₹64,000 + ₹29,429.20 + ₹1,888 = ₹95,317.20. Same 312 candles, same wax, same wicks. The entire ₹45,310 difference is the choice of oil. Vessels are on top of both: a 200ml salsa jar is ₹29.50 each in a 100 pack, so 312 of them is another ₹9,204 or so depending on the jar you pick from the containers collection.
4
Where the fragrance sits in the per-candle costPer 200g candle at 8%, using CSI 464 at the 1 kg tier: 184g of wax is ₹93.36, the wick is ₹5.90. With Roasted Coffee the fragrance is ₹59.81, so the three lines come to ₹159.07 and fragrance is 37.6% of it. With Coffee Blast the fragrance is ₹204.80, the total is ₹304.06 and fragrance is 67.4%. In the second case, two-thirds of your material cost is one ingredient — which is a legitimate way to build a premium candle, and a dangerous way to build a budget one.
Working capital, batch codes and the ₹944 that should come first
Five kilograms of one scent is a bet on demand you have not received yet. Here is how to check whether the bet is the right size — and the test that should precede it.
The turnover question is arithmetic. At 8% in a 200g candle you consume 16g per unit, so 5 kg is 312 candles of that one scent. Divide by your real monthly output in coffee: at 150 candles a month the 5 kg clears in about 2.1 months; at 100 a month, 3.1 months; at 50, 6.2 months; at 20, 15.6 months. Be honest about which row you are in, and use your coffee figure rather than your output across every scent.
Editorial judgement, not CSI policy
Our view is that a single scent held as stock should clear inside roughly six months, which at a 200g / 8% candle means consuming about 830g a month — around 52 candles. Below that rate, 5 kg is holding working capital still for longer than a small business comfortably can, and 2 kg or 3 kg does the same job with a third of the cash exposed. That six-month window is our editorial opinion. It is not a CSI policy, a warranty or a stated shelf life. CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils, and this page is not going to put a number on one. If storage life is material to your decision, request the batch documentation and MSDS for the specific lot on +91 7397976926 and store the oil sealed, upright, out of sunlight and away from heat.
Then there is the cash itself. ₹64,000 of Coffee Blast is ₹64,000 that is not buying wax, vessels, photography or advertising for however long the 312 candles take to sell. ₹18,690 of Roasted Coffee leaves ₹45,310 inside the business. For a maker turning over a few lakh a year that is not a rounding difference — it is the difference between one scent and a full range, or between fragrance stock and a second wax melter. How much fragrance oil a candle business actually needs works through the sizing in more detail, and whether candle making is profitable in India in 2026 puts it against the rest of the cost base.
There is also a consistency problem that only appears at this volume. Five 1 kg bottles are five separate fills, and potentially five separate batch codes. Coffee — dark, roasted, heavily bodied — is exactly the kind of profile where a small lot-to-lot difference is noticeable to a customer buying the same candle twice. If bottle one goes into your September run and bottle four into your November run, and a customer reorders in December and says it smells different, you need to be able to find out why.
1
Record the code on arrival, not at the benchWrite each bottle's batch or lot code into your stock sheet the day the parcel lands, with the invoice date and a bottle number you assign — B1 to B5. A code left only on a label that later gets covered in wax is a code you have lost.
2
Tie each production batch to one bottleYour batch record should already carry wax, load in grams, add temperature, stir time, pour temperature, vessel and wick. Add one field: which bottle. Then a difference reported eight weeks later is traceable to a lot in one look instead of being guesswork.
3
Do not split a run across two bottles unnoticedA run needing 1.2 kg will finish one bottle and open the next mid-batch. Either blend the two into a single working container first or note the split on the record. Blending is usually better on a long run: it averages any lot variation across the whole run instead of putting it down the middle.
4
Keep a 50g retain from bottle oneSet aside a sealed sample of the first bottle, labelled with its code and date. When you come to judge whether bottle four smells different you want something to smell it against, not a memory. At the 1 kg rate that retain costs ₹186.90 of Roasted Coffee, and it is what turns "I think it changed" into a question your supplier can answer.
Against our own interest: do not order 5 kg yet. We would rather sell you ₹944.22 today than ₹64,000 you regret. Buy the smallest bottle of all four coffees and burn them side by side first. That is 15g of Roasted Coffee at ₹93.22, 50g of Coffee Vanilla Tobacco at ₹449 (it has no 15g), 15g of Moca Coffee at ₹186 and 15g of Coffee Blast at ₹216 — ₹944.22 for the complete four-oil test set, which is 1.5% of a 5 kg Coffee Blast order. A 15g bottle pours one 100g test candle at 8% with enough left for a second at 6%. If you want a fuller test, 100g of Roasted Coffee at ₹390 against 100g of Coffee Blast at ₹1,280 is ₹1,670 — 2.6% of the big order — and gives you six 200g candles of each, which is enough to cure properly, photograph, and put in front of actual customers. Cure them the full fourteen to twenty-one days before you judge anything. A coffee oil judged at 48 hours will read as weak whatever you paid for it, and that is how a good ₹3,738 oil gets rejected in favour of a ₹12,800 one for no reason.
The cheapest money you will spend on a 5 kg order is the ₹944.22 you spend before placing it.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia
For context on where coffee sits: the cheapest oil CSI stocks is Citrus Lemon at ₹2,832 per kilogram — ₹45.31 of fragrance in a 200g candle at 8%. Roasted Coffee is a third dearer than that; Coffee Blast is 4.5 times it. If your range needs a gourmand at a lower ingredient cost, Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80 per kilogram is worth testing alongside the coffees. The wider comparison is in the best fragrance oils for candle making in India in 2026.
Why trust this guide
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. The commercially convenient version of this page would advertise a 5 kg pack at a bulk rate. We do not have one, so we have not written one — and we have told you plainly that on two of the four coffee oils buying five kilograms saves exactly ₹0 against buying ten 500g packs. A maker who budgets on a discount that does not exist is a maker who runs out of cash, and that is worse for us than a smaller first order.
Every price on this page is a live CSI variant price pulled in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. The 5 kg figures are arithmetic — the 1 kg variant price multiplied by five — and are shown as such rather than presented as a pack. CSI publishes no volume slab, bulk rate, minimum order quantity, credit term or shelf-life figure, and none is implied anywhere above. The 10% and 13% fragrance loads are the wax manufacturers' stated formulation limits for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks respectively, not regulatory limits.

No. Across all 92 fragrance oils the variant ladder is at most 15g / 50g / 100g / 500g / 1kg, and there is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance-oil pack in the catalogue. To buy 5 kg you order the 1 kg bottle five times. The price is five times the 1 kg price: ₹18,690 for Roasted Coffee, ₹42,995 for Coffee Vanilla Tobacco, ₹56,000 for Moca Coffee and ₹64,000 for Coffee Blast.
Will I get a discount for ordering 5 kg?
Not automatically, and not on the website — the cart charges five times the 1 kg price. CSI publishes no volume slab, no bulk rate card, no minimum order quantity and no credit term, so nothing on this page should be read as promising one. What the price list does show is that two of the four coffee oils, Coffee Blast and Moca Coffee, are flat per gram at every size, so their kilogram saves exactly ₹0 against two 500g packs. Roasted Coffee's kilogram saves ₹42. If you are buying at this volume, message +91 7397976926 with the oil, quantity and delivery pin code and ask what can be done, then budget on the answer.
Which coffee fragrance oil should I buy for a bulk order?
Test before you decide, but the numbers point one way. Roasted Coffee at ₹3,738 per kilogram is the cheapest of the four by a wide margin and the only one with published verified customer reviews, including two Judge.me verified purchases. Coffee Blast at ₹12,800 per kilogram is 3.42 times its per-gram cost, which puts ₹204.80 of fragrance into a 200g candle at 8% against ₹59.81 — a gap of ₹144.99 on every candle. That premium may be justified for your range; it should be justified by a burn test rather than assumed.
How many candles will 5 kg of fragrance oil make?
At 8% in a 200g candle — 16g of oil — 5 kg makes 312 candles with 8g left over. The same 5 kg makes 416 candles at 6%, 250 at 10% and 192 at 13%. For 100g candles at 8% it is 625; for 150g, 416; for 300g, 208. Fragrance percentage here is a share of total finished candle weight, not of the wax. Note that 13% is only available on a wax rated for it: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks up to 13%, CSI 464 up to 10% — formulation limits set by the wax maker, not regulatory limits.
How much wax do I need alongside 5 kg of fragrance oil?
For 312 candles of 200g at 8%, each needs 184g of wax, so 57,408g — 57.4 kg. In real CSI pack sizes that is five 10 kg packs, one 5 kg and three 1 kg of CSI 464 flakes: ₹29,429.20 for 58 kg. The same 58 kg in Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is ₹34,787. Add 320 Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹1,888 and your fragrance-plus-wax-plus-wick commitment is ₹50,007.20 with Roasted Coffee or ₹95,317.20 with Coffee Blast.
How long will 5 kg of one fragrance last, and does it expire?
It depends entirely on your output in that scent. At 8% in a 200g candle, 5 kg is 312 candles — about 2.1 months at 150 candles a month, 6.2 months at 50, and 15.6 months at 20. Our editorial view is that a single scent should clear inside roughly six months, which means consuming about 830g a month; below that, 2 kg or 3 kg ties up far less cash for the same purpose. That six-month window is our opinion, not a CSI policy. CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils and we will not invent one — request the batch documentation and MSDS for your specific lot on +91 7397976926, and store the oil sealed, upright, cool and out of sunlight.
Choose the coffee, then the quantity
The same 5 kg is ₹18,690 or ₹64,000. Spend ₹944.22 finding out which one you actually want.
Roasted Coffee from ₹93.22 / 15g to ₹3,738 / 1kg · Coffee Vanilla Tobacco from ₹449 / 50g · Moca Coffee from ₹186 / 15g · Coffee Blast from ₹216 / 15g. No pack above 1 kg exists, so 5 kg is five bottles at five times the price. For a volume quote, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation, message us.

Pack sizes: CSI's fragrance-oil variant ladder is at most 15g / 50g / 100g / 500g / 1kg across all 92 oils. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance-oil pack. Every 5 kg figure on this page is the live 1 kg variant price multiplied by five and is presented as arithmetic, not as a pack. CSI publishes no volume slab, bulk rate, minimum order quantity, credit term or shelf-life figure; none is stated or implied above, and the six-month stock-turn window is explicitly the authors' editorial judgement.
