Eighty-seven CSI fragrance oils carry a 1 kg pack you can buy today, and the prices run from ₹2,832 to ₹24,056 — a spread too wide to budget from. The useful numbers are the middle of the list, and what one candle's worth costs.
₹6,499
the median of the 87 live 1 kg fragrance oils · that median kilo puts ₹103.98 of oil inside one 200 g candle at an 8% load · the full spread is ₹2,832 to ₹24,056, or ₹45.31 to ₹384.90 per candle · 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What should I budget for a kilo of candle fragrance oil? Plan on ₹4,543 to ₹8,347 and you have the middle half of the range covered. The median live kilo is ₹6,499; the cheapest is Citrus Lemon at ₹2,832 and the dearest ₹24,056.

What does that mean per candle? A 200 g candle at 8% holds 16 g of oil. So the median kilo is ₹103.98 of oil per candle, the cheapest ₹45.31 and the dearest ₹384.90. In a 70 g votive the same three numbers are ₹36.39, ₹15.86 and ₹134.71.

Is the kilo cheaper per gram than two 500 g bottles? Often not. Of the 72 live kilos that also list a buyable 500 g, 38 price the kilo at exactly the same rupees per gram, 23 shave under 5% from the per-gram rate, 9 shave 5% or more — and 2 are dearer as a kilo than as two halves.

Can I buy 5 kg or 10 kg? No — 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists. Above that you buy whole kilos at the listed price, which is your ceiling, or send the scents and quantities to the bulk line for a quote. This page will not guess that quote.
The short answer
Budget from the quarter, not the range: 22 live kilos sit under ₹4,543 and 22 above ₹8,347. Decide which quarter your retail price can carry, then shop inside it.
Divide before you decide: each listed price ÷ its grams gives the per-gram figure no product page prints as a column, and tells you whether the kilo is a saving or just a bigger bottle.
Buy the kilo for cover, not for the discount: on most of the range there is no discount. What a kilo buys a maker with no counter to walk into is continuity on the two or three scents that repeat.
₹10,000 of fragrance oil: how many 200 g candles it scents at 8% ₹2,832 / kg 220 candles · ₹45.31 of oil each ₹4,720 / kg 132 candles · ₹75.52 of oil each ₹6,499 / kg · median 96 candles · ₹103.98 each ₹8,960 / kg 69 candles · ₹143.36 each ₹11,999 / kg 52 candles · ₹191.98 each Bar length = candles scented by ₹10,000 of that oil. 200 g candle at 8% = 16 g oil + 184 g wax. Wax, wick, vessel and box are extra.
The same money does five very different jobs. Ten thousand rupees is a 220-candle festive run at the bottom of the range and a 52-candle signature collection at the top. Neither is wrong — but only one of them survives a favour order for four hundred pieces, and only one of them justifies a ₹1,200 shelf price.
Straight answer
What is the 1 kg price of candle fragrance oil, and how do I tell a fair kilo from a badly bought one?
A kilo of candle fragrance oil at CSI costs between ₹2,832 and ₹24,056 in September 2026, across the 87 oils whose 1 kg pack is buyable today. Ignore the range and use the middle: the median live kilo is ₹6,499, and half the catalogue sits between ₹4,543 and ₹8,347. Convert that to the only unit you sell — a 200 g candle at an 8% load carries 16 g of oil — and the median kilo is ₹103.98 per candle, against ₹45.31 on Citrus Lemon, ₹49.09 on Eucalyptus Spearmint, ₹84.96 on Pumpkin Spice and ₹122.34 on Vanilla Bean. Whether the kilo is well bought is a separate question with a public answer: divide each listed pack price by its grams. On Eucalyptus Spearmint the kilo is 7.14% below the 500 g rate and on Pumpkin Spice exactly 10.00% below. On Orchard Pear the step is 0.05% — nothing. And on Sage and Cedarwood the kilo is dearer: two 500 g bottles are ₹5,168.40 against ₹6,867.60 for the single kilo, a difference of ₹1,699.20. Because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, anything above it is whole kilos at the listed price — a ceiling you can hold anyone to — or a quote.
One line: budget from the median and the quarter, cost it per candle, and check the per-gram ladder before you assume the kilo is a discount — on more than half the range it isn't.

The 87 live kilos, in four quarters

A range of ₹2,832 to ₹24,056 is not a price. It is a nine-fold spread with a shelf price hidden inside it.

Split the 87 buyable kilos into four equal groups and the catalogue stops being intimidating. Each quarter is roughly twenty-two oils, has a per-candle cost you can hold against a shelf price, and is bought for a different reason. Sold-out kilos are excluded throughout this page: CSI lists a 1 kg size on 104 of its 107 fragrance-oil listings and 17 of those kilos are out of stock today.

Counted above: 22 + 22 + 21 + 22 = 87 oils whose 1 kg pack is in stock in September 2026. The cuts fall at ₹4,543, ₹6,499 (the median) and ₹8,347. The per-candle column is the kilo price ÷ 1,000 × 16 g. Twenty-nine kilos are under ₹5,000.

Read those four rows as answers to "what can my shelf price carry", not as quality grades. A 200 g candle leaving your workroom at ₹550 cannot carry ₹232.96 of oil before the jar, wick, lid, box and your hours are counted; the same candle at ₹1,400 can. The full costing method is in how to price candles in India in 2026.

One kilo, four candle sizes, three loads

A kilo price is fixed. What it costs per candle is not — it moves with how big you pour and how hard you load. Fragrance load here is a percentage of the finished candle: a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax. Some pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead, which gives a slightly different gram figure — pick one convention and never mix them.

Grams of oil per candle · four sizes, three loads
What the median kilo (₹6,499) and the cheapest kilo (₹2,832) cost inside each one
Candle Oil at 8% Oil at 10% Oil at 13% Median kilo at 8% Cheapest kilo at 8% Candles per kilo at 8%
70 g votive 5.6 g 7 g 9.1 g ₹36.39 ₹15.86 178
120 g jar 9.6 g 12 g 15.6 g ₹62.39 ₹27.19 104
200 g jar 16 g 20 g 26 g ₹103.98 ₹45.31 62
Worked out above: oil grams = candle weight × load; cost = kilo price ÷ 1,000 × grams. Median ₹6,499 → ₹6.499 a gram: ₹36.39, ₹62.39, ₹103.98. Citrus Lemon ₹2,832 → ₹2.832 a gram: ₹15.86, ₹27.19, ₹45.31. A 400 g three-wick at 8% takes 32 g — ₹207.97 and ₹90.62 respectively. Candles per kilo = 1,000 ÷ grams per candle, rounded down. The 13% column appears because one CSI oil page states a 13% ceiling; most state 10%, and your wax page has its own — pour to whichever is lower.
The cheapest lever on this page is the vessel, not the oil
Moving from a 200 g jar to a 120 g jar at the same load cuts the oil cost by 40% — ₹103.98 down to ₹62.39 on the median kilo. Moving from the median kilo to the cheapest one in a 200 g jar cuts it by ₹58.67. Both are real, but the first one also cuts your wax and your glass. That is why favour and festive multi-pack ranges are built in small vessels and signature candles are not: how much fragrance oil 100 wedding-favour candles need.

What a fixed fragrance budget buys

Most makers do not start from "which oil" — they start from "I can put ₹10,000 into fragrance this month". Turn the table around and it answers that directly. The candle count is what the oil alone scents at 8% in a 200 g jar; wax, wicks, glass and boxes are extra.

₹10,000 of fragrance oil · four ways to spend it
Whole bottles, candles scented, and what each basket is actually for
Basket What you buy Spend Oil 200 g candles at 8% Average oil per candle
Two festive workhorses 1 kg Pumpkin Spice + 1 kg Cinnamon Vanilla ₹9,864.80 2,000 g 125 ₹78.92
A four-scent range 1 kg Orchard Pear + 500 gm Verbena + 500 gm Sage and Cedarwood + 100 gm Vanilla Bean ₹9,590.20 2,100 g 131 ₹73.21
One premium signature 500 gm Amber Oud Royal + 1 kg Orchard Pear ₹9,737 1,500 g 93 ₹104.70
Priced above: candles = total oil grams ÷ 16 g, rounded down; average oil per candle = spend ÷ candles. Row 1: Pumpkin Spice ₹5,310 + Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80 = ₹9,864.80, 2,000 g ÷ 16 = 125, ₹78.92 each. Row 2: Orchard Pear 1 kg ₹3,738 + Verbena 500 gm ₹2,478 + Sage and Cedarwood 500 gm ₹2,584.20 + Vanilla Bean 100 gm ₹790 = ₹9,590.20 across 2,100 g ÷ 16 = 131 candles, ₹73.21 each. Row 3: Amber Oud Royal 500 gm ₹5,999 + Orchard Pear 1 kg ₹3,738 = ₹9,737 across 1,500 g ÷ 16 = 93 candles, ₹104.70 each.

The uncomfortable row is the last one. Ninety-three candles is a small collection, and if only twenty of them are the premium signature, the other seventy-three carry a scent you bought because it was cheap enough to fill the basket. A better version of the same ₹10,000 is row one: two festive workhorses in quantity because last season proved they sell, with trial bottles of everything else. See how to plan fragrance inventory before the festive season.

Five ways a pack ladder behaves

"Bigger pack, cheaper gram" is a habit of mind. On this catalogue it is true less than half the time.

Here is the check almost nobody runs, applied to all 87 live kilos at once. Compare the kilo's per-gram price with the 500 g pack's and the catalogue sorts itself into five behaviours. Fifteen kilos have no buyable 500 g to compare against, so they are counted separately rather than guessed at.

Kilo versus 500 g, per gram · all 87 live kilos classified
Five behaviours, how many oils show each, and what it means for the order you place
Ladder behaviour Live kilos Named example The numbers What to do
Identical per gram at 500 g and 1 kg 38 Jasmine 500 gm ₹1,961 = ₹3.9220/g · 1 kg ₹3,923 = ₹3.9230/g Buy the kilo only for cover. There is no saving to collect.
Kilo cheaper, but by under 5% 23 Orchard Pear · 0.05% 500 gm ₹1,870 = ₹3.74/g · 1 kg ₹3,738 = ₹3.738/g Treat as flat. Two paise a gram is ₹0.03 on a 200 g candle.
Kilo cheaper by 5% or more 9 Pumpkin Spice · 10.00% 500 gm ₹2,950 = ₹5.90/g · 1 kg ₹5,310 = ₹5.31/g A real step. Take it once the scent has sold, not before.
Kilo dearer per gram than two 500 g 2 Sage and Cedarwood · 32.88% dearer 2 × 500 gm ₹5,168.40 · 1 kg ₹6,867.60 · gap ₹1,699.20 Buy the kilogram as two halves. Same oil, same page.
No buyable 500 g to compare 15 Sparkling Fruit 50 gm ₹423, 100 gm ₹847, 1 kg ₹8,469 — all ₹8.46–₹8.47/g The 100 g is the test size; the next rung is a tenfold jump.
Worked out above: per gram = listed pack price ÷ pack grams; step = (500 g rate − 1 kg rate) ÷ 500 g rate. Orchard Pear (3.74 − 3.738) ÷ 3.74 = 0.05%. Pumpkin Spice (5.90 − 5.31) ÷ 5.90 = 10.00%, worth ₹9.44 on a 200 g candle at 8%. Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3.304/g against ₹3.068/g = 7.14%. Sage and Cedarwood ₹5.1684/g at 500 g against ₹6.8676/g at the kilo — 32.88% dearer, so two 500 gm bottles save ₹1,699.20. Counts: 38 + 23 + 9 + 2 = 72 live kilos with a buyable 500 g, plus 15 without = 87.
The mistake: reading "1 kg" as a wholesale tier. It is a pack size, and on 61 of the 72 comparable oils the saving is nil or under 5%. A maker who buys four kilos because "kilos are the trade price" has usually paid the same rupees per gram as four sets of 500 g bottles and given up the ability to change two of the four scents. The fix is a spreadsheet column, not a negotiation — and where the step is real, as on Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon at 10.00%, take it on a scent you have already sold out of once.
The other mistake: assuming the step is always at the top. On several ladders the cheapest gram arrives long before the kilo. Citrus Lemon falls from ₹5.4280 a gram at 15 g to ₹3.00 at 100 g — a 44.7% drop — and then only to ₹2.832 at the kilo, a further 5.6%. Most of the saving on that ladder is collected by the time you reach 100 g. While a scent is still being tested, the 100 g bottle is where the money stops being wasted.

Four kilos, four different ladders

Not a shortlist of the best-smelling oils — that is your burn test's job, not a price page's. Each is here because its pack ladder behaves differently, and each card prints every listed size with its per-kilo rate and the 200 g candles at 8% it would scent.

The kilo that genuinely pays · 7.14% step
Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Oil
At ₹3,068 a kilo, one of the cheapest live kilos in the range and one of the few where the step from 500 g is worth naming: ₹3.304 a gram at 500 g against ₹3.068 at 1 kg, a 7.14% saving, or ₹3.78 on every 200 g candle. It is also unusually well documented for the price: a measured flashpoint of 199°C, a vanillin content of 0% described as no discolouration or yellowing risk, and a load of "up to 10% for soy wax, up to 6% for paraffin". For pale and undyed wax, a published 0% vanillin figure is the difference between planning a colour and hoping for one.

The flat ladder · and the blank page
Orchard Pear Fragrance Oil
Here for two honest reasons. Its ladder is effectively flat above 500 g — ₹3.74 a gram at 500 g and ₹3.738 at the kilo, a 0.05% difference — so the kilo buys continuity and nothing else. And its page states no fragrance load, no flash point and no vanillin figure, which this guide will not borrow from a similar-smelling oil. That makes it an oil to burn test at a conservative 8% before committing a kilo, not a worse fragrance: one CSI customer records using it in a champagne candle and getting "a very positive review from my customer". At the small end, 15 gm is ₹7.0013 a gram — nearly double the kilo rate.

The best step in the range · exactly 10.00%
Pumpkin Spice Fragrance Oil
A festive gourmand whose ladder does what everyone assumes all ladders do. The 100 gm and 500 gm packs are both ₹5.90 a gram; the kilo is ₹5.31 — a clean 10.00% step, worth ₹9.44 on every 200 g candle at 8%. Its page states "6-10% for candles and 8-12% for wax melts", notes that a lower percentage gives a subtle backdrop and a higher one a more prominent aroma, and publishes a three-tier profile — pumpkin, ginger and cinnamon bark over nutmeg, clove and allspice on vanilla bean, caramelised sugar and cedarwood. No flash point, so treat 8% as the test point. One CSI customer calls it "amazing and authentic". Cinnamon has an identical ladder, the same 10.00% step and a measured flashpoint of 193°C.

The kilogram to buy as two 500 g bottles
Sage and Cedarwood Fragrance Oil
Here because the arithmetic argues against the pack this page is about. The 500 gm bottle lists at ₹2,584.20 — ₹5.1684 a gram — and the 1 kg at ₹6,867.60, or ₹6.8676 a gram. Two 500 gm bottles buy the same kilogram for ₹5,168.40, ₹1,699.20 less, dropping the per-candle cost from ₹109.88 to ₹82.69. The page is otherwise one of the more useful in the range: a measured flashpoint of 190°C, "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)", "Up to 10% for soy wax", "Up to 6% for paraffin wax" and a cure of 48–72 hours for soy. Its sister listing Saffron Cedarwood carries identical prices and the same inverted ladder but states neither a load nor a flash point.

1 kg ₹6,867.60 ₹6,867.60 ≈62
₹82.69 of oil per 200 g candle if you buy the kilogram as two 500 g bottles Buy Sage and Cedarwood
Priced above: oil per 200 g candle at 8% = listed price ÷ pack grams × 16 g. Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3.0680/g → ₹49.09; Orchard Pear ₹3.7380/g → ₹59.81; Pumpkin Spice ₹5.3100/g → ₹84.96; Sage and Cedarwood ₹5.1684/g at 500 g → ₹82.69, against ₹109.88 at the kilo rate. Loads, flash points, vanillin figures and note structures are quoted only where the page states them.
The CSI principle
A kilo price is a fact about a bottle. The number that belongs in your costing sheet is the rupees of oil inside one candle — and the two are not the same decision.
The gap between the cheapest and dearest live kilo is ₹21,224. Inside one 200 g candle at 8% that same gap is ₹339.59, and inside a 70 g votive it is ₹118.85. Price the candle, not the catalogue, and most of the panic about fragrance cost goes away — along with the temptation to buy four kilos of something you have never burned.
Ready to commit? Eucalyptus Spearmint 1 kg ₹3,068, Pumpkin Spice 1 kg ₹5,310, Sage and Cedarwood 500 gm ₹2,584.20 — the pack to buy twice. For anything above a kilogram, or a repeating quarterly order, bulk quotes and GST invoicing are handled on the WhatsApp line.

Spending and storing a kilo in Guwahati

A kilo bought at the right per-gram price and then handled badly is not a saving. Guwahati gives a maker a working year with two distinctive features — humidity that stays high for long stretches, and a monsoon that is both long and heavy — and mild rather than harshly dry winters. None of that is a statistic here; it is material behaviour you can verify on your own bench, and it changes how a part-used kilo is handled, what your glass and labels do, and when the kilo gets consumed.

What a humid, long-monsoon year does to a kilo of oil and the candles it goes into
The symptom, what it costs, and the adjustment that fixes it
What you will notice Where it shows up What it costs you The adjustment
A part-used kilo bottle whose neck and cap collect drips Decanting, batch after batch Sticky threads, a cap that seizes, oil lost outside the bottle Decant once into a smaller working bottle, wipe the neck, keep the kilo closed between sessions
Condensation on glass brought from a cool cupboard into a warm, damp room Jars, at the moment you pour Poor adhesion to the glass, wet spots and cosmetic rejects on clear vessels Bring jars up to room temperature before pouring, and wipe them dry — never pour into a jar that feels cool to the hand
Labels and wick stickers that will not grip Finishing and wicking Labels lifting at the corner on a cured candle; wicks shifting off centre Keep stickers and labels in a sealed box; wick and label only on dry, room-temperature glass
Cartons and gift boxes going soft Storage and dispatch Crushed corners, a premium box that reads cheap Keep cartons off the floor and away from outer walls; use flat-packed boxes oldest first
Soy staying soft in the bag; candles that never firm up quickly Demoulding and cure Recipes that pass in Guwahati and slump when the candle travels to a hotter, drier city Give the full cure, keep one control jar from every batch, and re-burn it before you repeat the recipe
The mistake: judging a kilo on the first batch you pour from it, in the middle of the monsoon. A batch poured in high humidity can show wet spots and patchy glass adhesion that have nothing to do with the oil you just paid ₹6,000 for. Pour the same recipe again in the mild, drier part of the winter and the glass looks different — same oil, different cooling rate and different glass temperature. The fix is to log the actual add and pour temperatures rather than the target, and to keep one labelled control jar from each batch so you are comparing candles instead of memories. The mechanisms are in why candles get wet spots and sinkholes and why soy wax frosts.

Now the spending side, because a kilo is only cheap if it gets used. A Guwahati year has a shape: the Bihu festivals bookend it, Bohag Bihu opening the Assamese year in spring and Magh Bihu arriving in the depth of winter; Durga Puja drives the first big autumn gifting block; Diwali falls on 8 November 2026; and the winter wedding season follows with favour and hamper orders that can dwarf everything else. The dates of the Bihus and Puja are not something this page will invent — work in "the weeks before", and count backwards from the one date that is fixed. A kilo of one scent is 62 × 200 g candles at 8%, so a studio pouring three hundred candles a month across four scents will empty it inside a month of a Puja-to-Diwali block and stretch it over half a year outside one. Which pack that argues for is worked through in buying 1 kg of candle fragrance oil online in Guwahati.

The question to ask a supplier instead of "how long does it keep"
No CSI fragrance oil page states a shelf life, an expiry or a storage specification, and this guide will not invent one. Buy a kilo against demand you can see on a calendar, not against a date you are guessing at. The genuinely useful question for a maker with no counter to walk into is a different one: will this exact listing and this exact size still be in stock when I reorder. Ask that on WhatsApp before a season, not during it.

Above one kilogram: the ceiling, and the quote

Because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, everything above it works one of two ways. A listed price is public — anyone can pay it today — so multiplying it gives a ceiling you can budget against and hold anyone to, including us. A quote depends on kilos, scent mix, frequency, invoicing and destination, and no honest supplier prints one on a blog page. Here is the routine that turns this price page into an order.

1
Write the candle count, not the kilo countFour hundred 200 g candles at 8% is 400 × 16 g = 6.4 kg of oil. Twelve hundred 70 g votives is 1,200 × 5.6 g = 6.72 kg. Add 3–5% for spills and top-ups, then round up to whole kilos — because whole kilos are all you can buy.
2
Divide every listed pack by its gramsOne column, five rows, per product. If the 500 g and the 1 kg match, the kilo is a stock decision. If the 500 g comes out lower — as on Sage and Cedarwood — buy halves.
3
Price the ceiling from the listed kiloSeven kilos of Eucalyptus Spearmint is 7 × ₹3,068 = ₹21,476. Three kilos of Pumpkin Spice is ₹15,930. Three kilograms of Sage and Cedarwood bought as six 500 gm bottles is ₹15,505.20 against ₹20,602.80 for three 1 kg packs — the trap multiplies with the order.
4
Send facts, not a question"7 kg Eucalyptus Spearmint and 3 kg Pumpkin Spice, repeating each quarter, GST invoice needed, delivering to Guwahati, SDS wanted on both" gets a real answer. "Best price on fragrance oil?" gets a slow one, from anybody.
5
Never let the quote pick the recipeTest at 100 g, confirm at 500 g, then commit kilos. A good number on ten kilos of an oil you have not burned is the most expensive saving available. Run the hot throw test first.

Three absences belong on any honest price page. There is no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack in the CSI range; there is no published minimum order quantity, so the floor is the smallest listed size, 15 g on more than half the listings; and there is no sample-pack product, so a bench of trial bottles is something you assemble yourself. CSI runs no shop counter, stockist or warehouse in Guwahati or anywhere else — it is an online supplier that ships across India and takes bulk enquiries on WhatsApp — and it publishes no delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate for any destination. Build whatever buffer your own experience justifies and confirm the position when you order, rather than trusting a number you read on a blog.

Any supplier will tell you what a kilo costs. A useful one tells you which kilos are worth buying as two halves.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle raw materials — wax, fragrance oils, wicks, jars, moulds, dyes, additives and equipment — and does not sell finished candles. A supplier writing a page about kilo prices has an obvious incentive to point every reader at the biggest bottle. This one prints the 38 oils where the kilo costs exactly the same per gram as a 500 g bottle, the 23 where the saving is under 5%, and the two where buying the kilogram as two halves is ₹1,699.20 cheaper.

Every price, pack size and quoted specification comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Loads, cure times, flash points and vanillin figures are quoted only where a page states them, in its own words; where a page states nothing — as on Orchard Pear's load and flash point — this guide says so rather than borrowing a figure from a similar oil. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, and none is claimed here. The seasonal notes describe general material behaviour a maker can check on their own bench, not weather data.

For pricing above one kilogram, recurring orders, GST invoicing, or SDS and IFRA documentation on a specific oil, message the bulk line on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We do not publish prices for quantities that are not on a product page, and we do not publish delivery timelines, courier names or shipping rates for Guwahati or anywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

What is the 1 kg price of candle fragrance oil in Guwahati?
The same as anywhere in India: CSI prices by product, not by city. In September 2026 the 87 oils with a buyable 1 kg run from ₹2,832 to ₹24,056, median ₹6,499, middle half ₹4,543 to ₹8,347. Inside a 200 g candle at an 8% load that is ₹45.31 to ₹384.90 of oil. The linked product pages always show the current price.
Is it cheaper to buy 1 kg or two 500 g bottles of fragrance oil?
Check, every time. Of the 72 live kilos that also list a buyable 500 g, 38 cost exactly the same per gram at both sizes, 23 are cheaper by under 5%, 9 by 5% or more — and 2 are dearer as a kilo. On Sage and Cedarwood, two 500 gm bottles are ₹5,168.40 against ₹6,867.60 for the kilo. The best genuine step in the range is 10.00%, on Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon.
How many candles will 1 kg of fragrance oil scent?
At an 8% load: 62 candles of 200 g (16 g each), 104 jars of 120 g (9.6 g), 178 votives of 70 g (5.6 g) or 31 three-wick candles of 400 g (32 g). At 10% a 200 g candle takes 20 g, so the kilo makes 50. Allow a 3–5% planning margin for spills and top-ups. Load is a percentage of the finished candle — 200 g at 8% is 16 g of oil plus 184 g of wax.
Which 1 kg fragrance oil gives a Guwahati candle business the best value?
Value is per candle and per published fact, not per bottle. Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹49.09 a candle publishes a measured 199°C flashpoint, 0% vanillin and a stated 10% soy load, and its kilo is 7.14% cheaper per gram. Pumpkin Spice at ₹84.96 carries the range's best step. Sage and Cedarwood is better bought as two 500 gm bottles — ₹82.69 instead of ₹109.88.
Can I order 5 kg or 10 kg of one fragrance oil?
Not as a listed pack — 1 kg is the largest size CSI lists on any fragrance oil. You can order multiple kilos at the listed price and should treat that multiplication as your ceiling: seven kilos of Eucalyptus Spearmint is ₹21,476, three kilos of Pumpkin Spice ₹15,930. For a recurring requirement, send the scents, kilos, frequency and destination to the bulk line and ask for a quote. This page will not state what that quote will be.
Does CSI have a shop or a distributor in Guwahati?
No. CSI is an online supplier of candle raw materials that ships across India and handles bulk enquiries, GST invoicing and documentation requests on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. There is no CSI counter, stockist, distributor or warehouse in Guwahati, and this page publishes no delivery days, courier names or shipping rates — none of that is published for any destination. What is published is every price, pack size and stated specification on the linked product pages.

Ladder classification of the 87 live kilos against their own 500 g pack: 38 identical per gram, 23 cheaper by under 5%, 9 cheaper by 5% or more, 2 dearer, 15 with no buyable 500 g. Per-candle oil cost = listed pack price ÷ pack grams × grams per candle; a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax, the convention used across this series — some pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead. 120 g jar at 8% = 9.6 g; 70 g votive = 5.6 g; 400 g three-wick = 32 g; 200 g at 10% = 20 g and at 13% = 26 g. Stated page fields quoted: Eucalyptus Spearmint 199°C, vanillin 0%, up to 10% soy and up to 6% paraffin; Sage and Cedarwood 190°C, "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)", up to 10% soy, up to 6% paraffin, cure 48–72 hours for soy; Cinnamon 193°C; Pumpkin Spice 6-10% for candles, 8-12% for wax melts; Orchard Pear and Saffron Cedarwood state no load and no flash point. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026; the Bihu festivals, Durga Puja and the winter wedding season are named without dates. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, storage specification or minimum order quantity, and none is claimed here; no delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate is published for any destination. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
