Coffee Fragrance Oil 5 Kg Wholesale Price in India
Share
Is there a 5 kg pack? No. The largest fragrance-oil variant CSI sells is 1 kg. Five kilograms means five 1 kg bottles in the cart, with five separate batch codes.
Is there a wholesale rate or a trade tier? No. CSI publishes one price ladder for everybody — no slab, no rate card, no trade account, no minimum order quantity, no credit term. At this volume you are welcome to ask for a quote on WhatsApp, but nothing on this page promises a better number exists.
So where is the saving? In the oil you choose. Switching from Coffee Blast to Roasted Coffee saves ₹45,310. The best available pack-route saving anywhere in the coffee family is ₹995, and on two of the four oils it is ₹0.
Five kilograms, four prices, one decision
CSI stocks four coffee fragrance oils. They are not variations on a theme at a common price — they sit in four commercial positions, and the gap between cheapest and dearest is the widest of any scent family in the catalogue. Coffee Blast is 3.42 times the per-gram cost of Roasted Coffee. Everything else on this page follows from that one fact.
| Coffee oil | 1 kg price | Per gram | 5 kg = 5 × 1 kg | Fragrance per 200 g candle @ 8% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roasted Coffee | ₹3,738 | ₹3.738 | ₹18,690 | ₹59.81 |
| Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | ₹8,599 | ₹8.599 | ₹42,995 | ₹137.58 |
| Moca Coffee | ₹11,200 | ₹11.20 | ₹56,000 | ₹179.20 |
| Coffee Blast | ₹12,800 | ₹12.80 | ₹64,000 | ₹204.80 |
₹64,000 minus ₹18,690 is ₹45,310. Across the 312 candles that five kilograms will fill at an 8% load in a 200 g candle, that is ₹145.22 of fragrance cost per candle, gone or added, on the strength of one line in your recipe sheet. No negotiation, no pack size and no supplier relationship in India will hand you a number of that size on five kilograms of oil.
It is also worth placing the coffee band inside the whole 92-oil catalogue, because "coffee is expensive" is not a useful sentence. Coffee spans almost the entire commercial range on its own.
| Oil | Per gram | Five kilograms | 200 g candle @ 8% (16 g) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citrus Lemon — cheapest in the catalogue | ₹2.832 | ₹14,160 | ₹45.31 |
| Roasted Coffee — cheapest coffee | ₹3.738 | ₹18,690 | ₹59.81 |
| Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | ₹8.599 | ₹42,995 | ₹137.58 |
| Moca Coffee | ₹11.20 | ₹56,000 | ₹179.20 |
| Coffee Blast — dearest coffee | ₹12.80 | ₹64,000 | ₹204.80 |
| Club De Nuit Intense inspired — dearest in the catalogue | ₹24.056 | ₹120,280 | ₹384.90 |
Roasted Coffee sits ₹0.906 per gram above the cheapest oil CSI sells; Coffee Blast sits closer to the top of the catalogue than the bottom. A brand that calls itself "a coffee candle brand" has already made a four-way choice worth ₹45,310 per five kilograms, and most make it by reading scent names. Premium versus cheap fragrance oils covers what you are and are not buying with the difference.
Every route to five kilograms, priced against our own interest
The assumption behind a "5 kg wholesale" search is that larger quantities are cheaper per gram. On the CSI coffee family that is worth testing rather than believing, so here is every route to five kilograms using only variants that exist. The 15 g size is for sampling, not a route to five kilograms; nobody should buy 334 of them.
| Route to 5 kg | Roasted Coffee | Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | Moca Coffee | Coffee Blast |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 × 50 g | ₹23,000 | ₹44,900 | ₹56,000 | ₹64,900 |
| 50 × 100 g | ₹19,500 | ₹44,950 | ₹56,000 | ₹64,000 |
| 10 × 500 g | ₹18,900 | ₹43,990 | ₹56,000 | ₹64,000 |
| 5 × 1 kg | ₹18,690 | ₹42,995 | ₹56,000 | ₹64,000 |
| Kilogram route saves vs 500 g | ₹210 | ₹995 | ₹0 | ₹0 |
| Kilogram route saves vs 100 g | ₹810 | ₹1,955 | ₹0 | ₹0 |
Where a saving does exist it is small and specific. Roasted Coffee's kilogram route saves ₹210 against ten 500 g bottles — 1.1%. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco's saves ₹995 — 2.3%, the largest pack-route saving in the family. Beside the ₹45,310 oil decision the ranking is not close. Take the ₹995 by buying kilograms; it is simply not what determines whether this order is profitable.
One practical consequence: since the kilogram route is either cheapest or tied, and never more than ₹50 off, buy kilograms — fewer bottles to log, fewer decants, fewer part-used containers oxidising on a shelf. The 312-candle build, costed twice
Five kilograms of fragrance oil is not a purchase on its own. It is a commitment to a production run, and the run is where the money you are trying to save actually sits. At an 8% load in a 200 g candle — 16 g of oil, 184 g of wax — five kilograms fills 312 candles and needs 57.4 kg of wax alongside it. Note the convention: on CSI pages the fragrance percentage is of total candle weight, not of the wax. At 8% of the wax, five kilograms goes further and your wax figure changes — state which convention your recipe sheet uses. How much fragrance oil a candle business needs works through both.
Below is the whole raw-material commitment, built from real pack sizes only — no per-kilogram estimates, no pro-rating. 57.4 kg of wax buys as 5 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 2 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g, delivering 57.5 kg; 312 candles need 315 jars and 320 wicks, because jars come in fives and wicks in twenties.
| Line | What you buy | Cost | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fragrance | 5 × 1 kg Roasted Coffee @ ₹3,738 | ₹18,690.00 | 31.1% |
| Wax | 57.5 kg CSI 464 — 5 × 10 kg ₹5,074 + 5 kg ₹2,537 + 2 × 1 kg ₹507.40 + 500 g ₹260 | ₹29,181.80 | 48.6% |
| Vessels | 315 × 200 ml Salsa jar, golden lid — 3 × 100 Pcs ₹2,950 + 3 × 5 Pcs ₹200.60 | ₹9,451.80 | 15.8% |
| Wicks | 320 × Eco Candle Wicks Thin C1 — 3 × 100 ₹590 + 20 ₹118 | ₹1,888.00 | 3.1% |
| Wick stickers | 8 sheets × 40 wick stickers @ ₹100 | ₹800.00 | 1.3% |
| Total raw material | 312 candles | ₹60,011.60 | ₹192.34 per candle |
| Line | What you buy | Cost | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fragrance | 5 × 1 kg Coffee Blast @ ₹12,800 | ₹64,000.00 | 60.8% |
| Wax | 57.5 kg CSI 464, same basket as above | ₹29,181.80 | 27.7% |
| Vessels | 315 × 200 ml Salsa jar, golden lid | ₹9,451.80 | 9.0% |
| Wicks | 320 × Eco Candle Wicks Thin C1 | ₹1,888.00 | 1.8% |
| Wick stickers | 320 wick stickers | ₹800.00 | 0.8% |
| Total raw material | 312 candles | ₹105,321.60 | ₹337.57 per candle |
On Build B the fragrance stops being a line item and becomes the product. ₹64,000 of Coffee Blast outweighs the wax, the 315 jars, the 320 wicks and the stickers combined — ₹41,321.60 — by ₹22,678.40. At 60.8% of raw-material cost, the oil is worth more than one and a half times everything you pour it into. On Build A the same oil line is 31.1%, and wax is the largest single cost. Those are two different businesses with the same production plan, and the per-candle gap is ₹145.23. Costing and pricing consequences are in how to price candles in India in 2026.
Fragrance ceilings: 8% sits inside the stated ceilings for CSI 464 (up to 10%) and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (up to 13%). These are formulation limits set by the wax maker, not regulatory limits. Eco Soy CSI 400 at ₹399/kg is the cheapest soy on the store and tempting as a cost lever, but no fragrance-load ceiling is published for it — do not assume 8% is within one, and test before you scale.
Which brings us to the ranking. There are exactly three levers on this build that move real money, plus the pack question that brought you here. Ranked by what each is worth across one five-kilogram run:
| # | Lever | The swap | Saves |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The oil | Coffee Blast ₹64,000 → Roasted Coffee ₹18,690, same five kilograms | ₹45,310.00 |
| 2 | The vessel, across 315 jars | Coloured 200 ml Salsa glass ₹19,530 → golden-lid 200 ml Salsa ₹9,451.80 — the same 200 ml format, like for like | ₹10,078.20 |
| 3 | The wax, across 57.5 kg | Luxury Soy Chunks ₹34,487 → CSI 464 ₹29,181.80; both have published ceilings above 8% | ₹5,305.20 |
| 4 | The pack route | Kilograms instead of 500 g bottles — best case in the family | ₹0 to ₹995 |
The lever you came looking for is fourth out of four, and on two of the four coffee oils it is worth nothing. The vessel beating the wax surprises most makers: a like-for-like swap inside one jar format returns nearly twice a wax change across 57.5 kg. Comparing jars of different capacities is not like for like and should not be counted as a saving — a cheaper jar that holds 150 g is a different product. One more wax figure against our interest: Luxury Soy Chunks are ₹599 per 1 kg bag and ₹5,999 per 10 kg bag, which is ₹599.90 per kilogram, so the big bag is ₹0.90 per kilogram dearer. Buying 57 kilogram bags plus a 500 g pack costs ₹34,442 — ₹45 less. Buy the 10 kg bags for the handling, not believing they are a bulk price. Verifying wax quality before you buy matters more than either figure.
Working capital, turnover and five batch codes
Five kilograms is 312 candles at 200 g and 8%. What that means in cash terms depends entirely on how fast you sell 312 candles of one scent. The following is our editorial judgement, not CSI policy and not a specification: to clear five kilograms inside six months you need to be pouring roughly 52 candles of that one scent every month; to clear it inside three months, roughly 104 a month. If your coffee candle currently sells fifteen units a month, five kilograms is about a twenty-month position and ₹64,000 of Coffee Blast is a poor use of the money whatever the per-gram price says.
On the cheaper oil the same mistake costs less to make. ₹18,690 of Roasted Coffee sitting for twenty months is an irritation; ₹64,000 of Coffee Blast sitting that long is a financing problem. The dearer the oil, the more the sell-through evidence has to exist before the order. Defend a ₹64,000 single-scent position with sales history, not with a scent you liked. Scaling to 1,000 orders a month and choosing oils for festive bulk orders both work through the demand side.
Which leads to the detail nobody plans for: five kilograms arrives as five bottles, and five bottles can carry more than one batch code. That is normal in fragrance supply, not a defect, but your production records have to handle it — dark roasted notes are where strength drift shows most. A coffee accord sits low and heavy, so a small shift reads to a customer as "the last one was stronger". On a citrus it hides. On Roasted Coffee it does not.
| Record | Why it matters on a dark coffee note |
|---|---|
| Bottle number 1–5 and the batch information on each label | If bottle 4 behaves differently from bottles 1–3, you need to know which candles came from which bottle |
| Date received and invoice date | Ties a performance change back to a specific purchase, and to the documentation we sent with it |
| Which production batches drew from which bottle | The single record that turns "customers say it got weaker" into a traceable, fixable fact |
| A reference burn from each bottle, before it enters production | One 200 g candle costs about ₹192 on Build A. Finding drift in candle 1 rather than candle 200 is worth far more |
| Wax batch, wick size, load and cure days for the reference burn | Without these the reference burn is an opinion, not a comparison — weigh with a scale, do not measure by volume |
| Decant and part-bottle status | A kilogram bottle opened and half used is exposed to air for months; note when it was opened |
What to ask at this volume, instead of "what's your 5 kg rate"
A buyer spending ₹18,690 to ₹64,000 on one scent has real leverage with a supplier, and spending it on the rate question wastes it — on this catalogue the answer is published and the same for everyone. These five questions are worth more, and each has a cost consequence you can put a number against.
And the last thing to do before any of it: burn the oils. 100 g of Roasted Coffee is ₹390 and 100 g of Coffee Blast is ₹1,280 — ₹1,670 for the pair, in your wax, in your vessel, at your load, cured properly and burned side by side. If Roasted Coffee holds up in your build, you have made ₹45,310 with a ₹1,670 test. If it does not, you have spent ₹1,670 establishing that the dearer oil earns its price — also worth knowing before ₹64,000 leaves the account. The full four-oil set at the smallest size of each is ₹944.22. We sell all four; we would still rather you tested than guessed. How to evaluate a fragrance oil supplier and choosing a wick by jar diameter will both help you run the test properly.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. On a page titled "5 kg wholesale price" the convenient move would be to imply a bulk tier exists and invite an enquiry to discover it. We have not, because it is not true: no 5 kg pack, no rate card, no trade tier, no slab, no published minimum order quantity, no credit term. One ladder, up to 1 kg, the same for every buyer.
The page also points a five-kilogram buyer at our cheapest coffee oil rather than our dearest, and shows the pack upgrade we would most like to sell is worth ₹0 on half the range. Every ₹ figure is a live CSI variant price or arithmetic on live variant prices, pulled September 2026, and every product links to its own page, where current pricing and specification take precedence. Fragrance ceilings quoted — up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — are formulation limits stated by the wax maker, not regulatory limits, and no ceiling is published for Eco Soy CSI 400.

Wicks — Eco Candle Wicks Thin C1 at ₹590/100 and ₹118/20, so 320 = ₹1,888. Wick stickers — ₹100 per sheet of 40, so 8 sheets = ₹800 (the 100-sticker sheet was out of stock on the pull date). Totals ₹60,011.60 and ₹105,321.60, i.e. ₹192.34 and ₹337.57 per candle. Trial set: 15 g Roasted Coffee ₹93.22 + 15 g Moca Coffee ₹186 + 15 g Coffee Blast ₹216 + 50 g Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹449 = ₹944.22. Apothecary Glass Candle Jar with Dome Lid ₹212.40 at a published 500 g fill capacity; the 200 ml Salsa jar's 200 ml is a volume, not a stated 200 g wax fill, and the matte glass jar family publishes no fill weight — pour and weigh. Fragrance load ceilings are wax-manufacturer formulation limits, not regulatory limits: up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464; no ceiling is published for Eco Soy CSI 400. Monthly turnover figures (52 and 104 candles a month) are CSI editorial judgement, not policy. CSI publishes no fragrance-oil shelf-life figure.
