Reviews collected and published through Judge.me on candlemakingsuppliesindia.store. Each names the product it was left against: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid, Eco Candle Wicks, Gilli Mitti (Patchouli) Fragrance Oil, Candle Dye Liquid Purple and Sandalwood Fragrance Oil. Two are shortened with an ellipsis; wording is otherwise unedited. None of these reviews describes a bulk purchase list, a 500-candle order or packaging supply — they are quality reports on individual materials, which is all they are offered as.

Quick answers — read this first
What does a 500-candle purchase list contain? Fourteen lines: wax, fragrance oil, dye, jar, lid, wick, wick sticker, care sticker, printed label, retail box, box insert, shipping carton, cushioning and tape. CSI supplies eight of them. Six are not our products and we will not price them.

How much wax and oil? At a 150 g fill and 8% of finished weight, each candle is 12 g oil + 138 g wax. For the 524 units you actually pour: 72.312 kg of wax and 6.288 kg of oil before any buffer.

Why 524 and not 500? Approval samples, retained samples and replacement stock are real candles that need real jars and wicks.

What is the CSI subtotal? ₹127,005.20 — ₹254.01 per saleable candle, and that is the CSI portion only.
The short answer
Fix the basis first: candle count, fill weight, fragrance load, and which weight the percentage is of. Every figure moves if any of those four moves.
Buy in the packs that exist: wax in 500 g / 1 kg / 5 kg / 10 kg, fragrance no larger than 1 kg, jars in whatever pack that jar ships in — 1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 20, 50 or 100. There is no 25 kg wax bag and no universal carton of 24.
Buffer per material, not per order: glass breaks and wax does not. A spare Eco wick costs ₹5.90; a spare 150 g jar costs ₹94.40 — sixteen times as much.

The bill of materials for 524 poured candles — solid bars are real CSI lines, dashed rows are not CSI products 1 · Jars with lid included — 530 pcs ₹50,032.00 2 · Wax — CSI 464, 75 kg in real packs ₹38,055.00 3 · Fragrance — Sandalwood, 6.5 kg ₹32,674.20 4 · Wicks — Eco Thin C1, 550 pcs ₹3,245.00 5 · Wick stickers — 14 sheets, 560 pcs ₹1,400.00 6 · Dye — your own established figure ₹900.00 7 · Care stickers — 1 roll of 1,000 ₹699.00 8 · Printed labels — front and base not a CSI product 9 · Retail box + insert not a CSI product 10 · Shipping cartons not a CSI product 11 · Cushioning + packing tape not a CSI product
Solid bars are drawn to scale from the real CSI rupee lines in the purchase table below; the longest is the jar line at ₹50,032.00. The four dashed rows carry no bar because CSI publishes no price for them — we do not sell them. The dash spans the full width deliberately: an unknown cost is what turns a quoted order into a loss.
Straight answer
How do I build a complete purchase list for a 500-candle order?
Write the basis down first — 500 saleable candles at a 150 g fill and an 8% fragrance load of finished weight — then add the units nobody counts, which takes you to 524 candles to pour. Derive each line from that: 72.312 kg of wax and 6.288 kg of oil before buffer, 524 jars, 524 wicks, 524 wick stickers, 524 care stickers. Then round every quantity up into pack sizes that exist — 75 kg of CSI 464 as 7 × 10 kg + 5 × 1 kg = ₹38,055.00, 6.5 kg of Sandalwood as 6 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = ₹32,674.20, 530 Clear Glass Jars with Golden Lid = ₹50,032.00, 550 Eco wicks = ₹3,245.00, 560 wick stickers = ₹1,400.00 and 1,000 care stickers = ₹699.00. With one 100 g bottle of liquid dye at ₹900.00 the CSI subtotal is ₹127,005.20, or ₹254.01 per saleable candle. Then stop, because the list is not finished: printed labels, retail boxes, inserts, shipping cartons, cushioning and tape are not CSI products and have no CSI price. Get a per-unit figure for each from your own printer and packaging supplier and add it before you quote anyone. The full raw-material list is here.
One line: 524 candles, not 500; ₹127,005.20 of CSI materials at ₹254.01 per saleable unit; and six more lines that are yours to price before the quotation goes out.
The two lines that decide four-fifths of this bill: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹5,074.00 per 10 kg (₹507.40/kg, flat from 1 kg up) and Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid 150 g at ₹1,888.00 per 20 (₹94.40 each, lid included).

Set the basis before you price a single line

Two failures kill a 500-candle order, and both happen at the purchase-list stage: running short of something mid-run, and quoting a client a price with a cost line missing from it.

The first is visible: you are 140 candles in and the wick stickers ran out at unit 400, because you bought ten sheets of forty. The second is invisible. You quoted ₹350 a candle against ₹254.01 of CSI materials, then the printer invoiced 540 labels, the box maker 524 boxes, and the carton and tape bill followed. The ₹95.99 that looked like margin was already spent.

A purchase list is arithmetic, and arithmetic needs a stated basis. Four inputs, written down before anything is priced.

1
The count you pour, not the count you sell500 saleable becomes 524 poured once approval samples, retains and replacement stock are in — derived below. Every quantity here is built on 524.
2
The fill weight, poured and weighedA 150 g fill here, because the jar chosen — the Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid — publishes a 150 g capacity. Most jar families publish none; where none is published, pour one and weigh it. A 200 ml salsa jar is a volume, not a 200 g fill. Guess this and every line below is out by the same percentage.
3
The load, against the wax's stated ceilingThis page pours at 8%. CSI 464 states up to 10%; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 state up to 13%. Those are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer, not regulatory limits, and thirteen of the sixteen waxes publish no ceiling at all.
4
Which weight the percentage is of — the one that catches everybodyAt 8% of finished weight a 150 g candle is 12.00 g oil + 138.00 g wax. Read as 8% of the wax, it is 11.11 g oil + 138.89 g wax, because 138.89 plus 8% of 138.89 is 150. Across 500 candles that is 444 g of oil — most of a 500 g bottle, about ₹2,234 at Sandalwood's ₹5.03 per gram. The conventions collide inside CSI's own catalogue: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks states its 13% ceiling "of total wax weight". Pick one and use it everywhere.
The stated basis for everything below
500 saleable · 524 poured · 150 g fill · 8% of finished weight · 12.00 g oil + 138.00 g wax per candle. Requirement before buffer: 72.312 kg wax (524 × 138 g) and 6.288 kg oil (524 × 12 g). Change one input and recompute from the top.

The bill of materials, line by line

In production order, because that is the order a shortage bites in. CSI live pricing, September 2026; the linked product page is authoritative.

1 · Wax — 72.312 kg calculated, 75 kg bought

524 × 138 g = 72.312 kg, plus transfer loss — wax left in the pitcher, on the thermometer, in the melter dregs. CSI publishes no wastage figure; the buffer section has the method for measuring your own. As an illustration only, 3% makes it 74.481 kg. Round up into packs that exist — the ladder is 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg, and there is no 25 kg carton of anything. At CSI 464's ₹5,074.00 per 10 kg and ₹507.40 per 1 kg, 7 × 10 kg + 5 × 1 kg = 75 kg for ₹38,055.00, leaving 518.6 g over — about ₹263 of stock rather than waste.

Do not round up in 500 g packs. CSI 464's 500 g variant is ₹260.00 — ₹520.00/kg against ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg up. And against our own basket size: on Luxury Soy Wax Chunks the 10 kg bag is ₹599.90/kg against ₹599.00/kg for the 1 kg — ninety paise a kilogram dearer. Buy it for fewer parcels, not a saving. The one wax with a real volume break is Natural Soy Pearl Wax: ₹450.00/kg at 1 kg, then flat at ₹424.80/kg for 5 kg, 10 kg and the 50 kg pack at ₹21,240.00 — the only wax pack above 10 kg on the store.

2 · Fragrance oil — 6.288 kg calculated, 6.5 kg bought

524 × 12 g = 6.288 kg; the same 3% takes it to 6,476.64 g. Nothing larger than a 1 kg bottle exists anywhere in the 92-oil range — no 2 kg, no 5 kg, no drum — so the arithmetic runs in 1 kg and 500 g units. Sandalwood Fragrance Oil is ₹5,026.80 per kilogram and ₹2,513.40 per 500 g: 6 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = 6.5 kg for ₹32,674.20.

Deliberately not seven kilograms. Sandalwood's 500 g is the same ₹5.0268 per gram as its kilogram, so a seventh would cost ₹35,187.60 — ₹2,513.40 more for oil you have no plan for. Across CSI oils the kilogram-versus-two-500 g saving runs from nothing to about 6.7%; on Sandalwood and Woody Oud it is exactly ₹0.00.

6.5 kg is tight — know that going in
It leaves 23.36 g spare, under two candles. Fine if your 3% is measured; at 5% the requirement is 6,602.4 g and 6.5 kg is short, so the line jumps ₹2,513.40 in one step. Load does the same: at 10%, 524 × 15 g = 7.86 kg, buffered 8.096 kg, bought as 8 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = ₹42,727.80 — ₹10,053.60 more than the 8% line, or ₹20.11 per saleable candle.

3 · Dye — your figure, not a lookup

If the candle is coloured, dye is a line — the one line where CSI publishes no load guidance at all: no drops per kilogram, no percentage, no shade chart with quantities. The quantity comes from your own recipe, tested on the wax you use. Candle Dye Liquid Purple is ₹236.00/15 g, ₹472.00/50 g and ₹900.00/100 g, and every shade in the dye collection starts at ₹236.00. This list carries one 100 g bottle at ₹900.00; if you do not know your dose, establish it on a 1 kg test melt before the production order.

4 · Jars — 524 needed, 530 bought, lid included

Glass is the only line that arrives broken and the largest on the sheet, so the spare allowance has to be argued rather than assumed. Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g) ships in a pack of 10 at ₹944.00 and a pack of 20 at ₹1,888.00 — ₹94.40 each either way, so mixing packs costs nothing: 26 × 20 + 1 × 10 = 530 jars for ₹50,032.00, six spare. The lid is part of the product, inside that ₹94.40, so there is no lid line to price — which matters, because CSI sells no standalone lids at all. Choose a jar whose title names none, such as the matte glass jars at ₹70.80 each, and the lid moves into the gap section.

And pack sizes vary by jar — there is no universal carton of 24. Across the store's eighty containers the packs in use are 1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 20, 50 and 100: the Black Glass Jar with Black Lid (150 g) is 10 and 20 at ₹107.00 each, the 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar is 5, 50 and 100 at ₹29.50 each in the larger two. Check the listing before you build the quantity.

5 · Wicks — 524 needed, 550 bought, spares almost free

The cheapest insurance here, because Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) are flat at ₹5.90 per wick at every pack size from 10 to 1,000 — ₹59.00/10, ₹295.00/50, ₹590.00/100, ₹2,950.00/500, ₹5,900.00/1,000. The per-unit price never moves, so there is no reason to be tight: 500 + 50 = 550 wicks for ₹3,245.00. A spare wick costs ₹5.90 and a spare 150 g jar ₹94.40 — sixteen times as much. Thick (C2) is likewise flat, at ₹9.44. Wick size is a separate decision, and CSI publishes no sizing chart, so it comes from your own test burns — the guide by jar diameter has the method.

6 · Wick stickers — 524 needed, 560 bought

One per wick, plus the ones that land crooked. Candle Wick Stickers come as a sheet of 40 at ₹100.00 (₹2.50 each): 14 sheets = 560 for ₹1,400.00. The classic mid-run shortage, because thirteen sheets is 520 — four short of 524. For wider tabs, Large Candle Wick Stickers are ₹249.00 for 40.

7 · Care stickers — and the smaller pack is one short

Candle Care Stickers Roll is ₹413.00 per 500 (1 inch, ₹0.83 each) or ₹699.00 per 1,000 (1.5 inch, ₹0.70 each). The arithmetic decides: 500 is short of 524, so the small roll means two at ₹826.00 — ₹127.00 more than the thousand-roll for the same thousand stickers. Take the 1,000 at ₹699.00.

8 · Tools — one-off, not per candle

Capital items, bought once, which must not be smeared across one order: Pen Thermometer ₹354.00, Candle Making Weighing Scale ₹354.00, Steel Pouring Pitcher 600 ml ₹708.00, Bamboo Stirring Sticks ₹1,062.00 for 50 — ₹2,478.00 together, ₹4.96 a unit across 500 candles and ₹0.00 on the next order.

The six lines CSI does not supply

This is the part of the page that would be easier to leave out, and the part most worth reading.

We have checked the whole catalogue. CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sells no standalone lids, no retail or gift boxes, no shipping cartons, no printed labels, no box inserts, no bubble wrap, no cushioning material and no packing tape. Not one. So the honest move is to name every line the order needs, price the ones we supply, and mark the rest as yours to cost.

The blanks · fill these from your own suppliers before you quote
On a 524-candle run each of these is a real cost line with no CSI price: printed label, front — 524 plus the printer's overage · printed label, base and batch code — 524 plus overage · lid — 524, only if your jar has none · retail or gift box — 524 · box insert — 524 · shipping cartons — 524 divided by units per carton · cushioning and packing tape — by carton. Get a per-unit figure for every one from your printer and your packaging supplier before the quotation goes out.

Two properties of those lines surprise a first-timer. Printed labels and boxes almost always carry a minimum order quantity and an overage allowance, and both belong to your printer, not to us: a printer who will not run fewer than 1,000 labels has made your 524-unit job a 1,000-label purchase, and a press delivering plus-or-minus 5% has made your quantity approximate. Ask before you commit — it can move the per-candle cost by more than the fragrance does.

The second is lead time. Printed items are usually the longest line on the schedule; wax and glass tend to be quicker. CSI publishes no dispatch or delivery time and this page will not invent one: message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 to confirm the current lead time on the CSI lines, and confirm each non-CSI line with its own supplier.

The CSI principle
We supply eight of the fourteen lines on this list. Pretending otherwise would make this page shorter and your quotation wrong.
You will need at least one printer and one packaging supplier alongside us, and their figures have to be in the sheet before a price goes to the client. A purchase list containing only what one supplier happens to sell is not a purchase list; it is a shopping basket.

The units nobody counts, and the buffer per material

A 500-candle order is not a 500-candle purchase. Three categories of fully-costed candles sit outside the client's count, and each needs a jar, a wick, a sticker and its share of wax and oil.

1
Approval samples — 6 on this runThe client sees and smells a candle before the run starts, usually more than one person, poured from the production recipe in the production jar. Six is an illustration; your number is whatever the approval process consumes.
2
Retained samples — 6, and not optionalKeep one sealed candle per batch, labelled with batch code and date, and do not sell it. When a customer says in eight weeks that a candle tunnels or smells of nothing, the retain is the only way to establish whether the fault is in your batch or in their use of it.
3
Replacement stock — 12Candles get damaged in transit or fail your own inspection after cure. A dozen finished units is the difference between couriering one candle and re-opening production. Twelve is about 2.4%; yours comes from your last three deliveries.

500 + 6 + 6 + 12 = 524 candles to pour — a 4.8% uplift on every per-candle line. Twenty-four extra jars is ₹2,265.60, 24 extra wicks ₹141.60, 24 wick stickers ₹60.00, and 24 × 138 g is 3.312 kg of extra wax with 288 g of extra oil. None of it optional, all of it invisible on a list that says "500".

Why a flat percentage across every line is the wrong model

The usual advice is to add ten percent to everything, and it is wrong in both directions at once. Glass breaks and wax does not — wax left in the pitcher is recoverable, a chipped rim is gone. Wicks are nearly free and jars are not: a 10% wick buffer is 52 spare wicks at ₹306.80, a 10% jar buffer 52 jars at ₹4,908.80 and may be four times more glass than you break. And printed labels carry a supplier minimum you do not control.

CSI publishes no wastage figure, no breakage rate and no loss percentage. Every percentage in this section is an illustration, not a specification. Replacing them with your own takes one production week. Wax and oil: weigh the melter charge, then the filled jars, across three consecutive batches, and take the average shortfall — that is your transfer loss, specific to your pitcher, pour style and pour temperature. Glass: count rejects across one full shipment — breakages, chips, bad rims — as a percentage of jars received. Wicks and stickers: count what you discard on one batch. Write all four down with the date; a new courier or a new jar changes the glass figure immediately.

Applied here: wax, 3% on 72.312 kg gives 74.481 kg, bought as 75 kg; oil the same, bought as 6.5 kg; jars six spare, deliberately modest, because at a counted 2% reject rate you need 535 and the line steps to 540 at ₹50,976.00, ₹944.00 more; wicks 26 spare at ₹153.40; wick stickers 36 spare at ₹90.00; care stickers 476 spare the pack size gave you free. Five percentages, because five materials fail in five different ways.

The buffer is not a number you copy. It is a measurement you own, and it is different for glass than it is for wax.

The arithmetic that tells you to decline the order

Say the client has offered ₹350 a candle — their figure, not ours. CSI materials are ₹254.01, leaving ₹95.99 for two printed labels, a box, an insert, a share of a carton, cushioning, tape, labour on 524 pours, electricity, courier and margin. On most specifications that does not close. A maker who builds this list properly will sometimes find the order is not worth taking at the price quoted — and finding that out on a spreadsheet costs nothing, while finding it out after delivery costs the whole job. We would rather you priced it correctly and walked away than bought 75 kg of our wax and lost money on it. The pricing guide runs the same arithmetic backwards from the selling price.

The pre-production check — tick it against stock on the bench

Tick each line against the physical stock on the bench the day before the first pour, not against an invoice. The order below is the order production consumes them in, so a shortage surfaces a day early instead of mid-run.

Ten lines · tick against physical stock, in consumption order
1 · Wax — 75 kg, weighed, not counted as bags.
2 · Fragrance — 6.5 kg of one named oil, weighed, and the same oil the approval samples came from.
3 · Dye — enough for 75 kg of wax at your established dose.
4 · Jars — 530, unpacked and counted, chips and bad rims set aside. Write the reject number down: it is next time's breakage percentage.
5 · Lids — one per jar. Included with this jar; if yours is not, they are a separate delivery and must physically be here.
6 · Wicks and wick stickers — 550 and 560. The two cheapest lines and the two commonest shortages.
7 · Care stickers — one roll of 1,000, diameter checked against the jar base.
8 · Printed labels — not a CSI line. Batch code, net weight and burn-safety text checked against the signed proof, then counted.
9 · Boxes, inserts, cartons, cushioning, tape — not CSI lines. Assemble one complete unit and pack one carton before the run; this is the step that finds the insert 2 mm too tight.
10 · Tools — scale zeroed against a known weight, thermometer working, pitcher clean, stirrers to hand. Then start.
Working back from Diwali on 8 November 2026? Wax, fragrance and glass have to be on the bench with cure time still to spare. Confirm the current lead time before you commit to a client date — we publish none, and the non-CSI lines have their own.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and this page says plainly that we supply eight of the fourteen lines on a 500-candle bill of materials. The commercially convenient version would have quoted a price for gift boxes and printed labels. We do not sell them, so there is no price to quote — and a maker who builds a quotation on an invented packaging cost loses money once, then buys their wax elsewhere.

Every rupee figure is a live CSI variant price from September 2026 and links to its product page, where current pricing takes precedence. Every quantity is arithmetic from one stated basis — 524 poured candles at a 150 g fill and 8% of finished weight — in pack sizes that exist. The 10% ceiling cited for CSI 464 and the 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 are formulation limits stated by the wax manufacturer, not regulatory limits, and not interchangeable between waxes.

What we do not publish, and therefore do not state here: any wastage, breakage or transfer-loss percentage; any dispatch or delivery time; any minimum order quantity, price slab, rate card or credit term; any dye-load figure. For bulk pricing, current lead time, GST invoicing, or MSDS and IFRA documentation, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

How much wax and fragrance oil do I need for 500 candles?
State the fill weight and the load convention first. At a 150 g fill and 8% of finished weight each candle is 12 g oil and 138 g wax — but you pour more than 500. With approval samples, retains and replacements this page pours 524: 6.288 kg of oil and 72.312 kg of wax before any transfer-loss allowance. In packs that exist, 6.5 kg of Sandalwood for ₹32,674.20 and 75 kg of CSI 464 for ₹38,055.00.
Does CSI sell lids, printed labels, gift boxes or shipping cartons?
No. There are no standalone lids, no retail or gift boxes, no shipping cartons, no printed labels, no box inserts, no bubble wrap, no cushioning and no packing tape anywhere in the catalogue. Some jars do ship with a lid as part of the product — the Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g) at ₹94.40 each is one — so never cost a lid separately for a jar like that. At the finishing end CSI supplies Candle Care Stickers at ₹413.00 per 500 or ₹699.00 per 1,000, and wick stickers at ₹100.00 per sheet of 40. Everything else comes from your own printer or packaging supplier.
What production buffer percentage should I use?
CSI publishes no wastage, breakage or loss percentage, and you should not accept one from any blog. Use a different figure per material: measure transfer loss by weighing the melter charge and then the filled jars across three consecutive batches, and glass rejects by counting chips, cracks and bad rims across one shipment. The worked example uses 3% on wax and oil and about 1% spare on glass purely to show the shape of the arithmetic. Wicks are the exception where you can be generous without thinking, because Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) are flat at ₹5.90 each from 10 to 1,000.
Is there a 25 kg bag of wax or a 5 kg bottle of fragrance oil?
No. The wax ladder is 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg, the single exception being Natural Soy Pearl Wax, which also has a 50 kg variant at ₹21,240.00 (₹424.80/kg). There is no 25 kg carton of anything. On fragrance, nothing above 1 kg exists across all 92 oils — 5 kg of one scent is five 1 kg bottles, and the price does not fall automatically above a kilogram. Ask on WhatsApp at that volume; we publish no discount slab, rate card or minimum order quantity.
Why does the list say 524 candles when the order is for 500?
Because approval samples, retains and replacement stock are real candles consuming real jars, wicks, wax and oil. This page allows 6 approval samples, 6 retains and 12 replacements — illustrative numbers — a 4.8% uplift on every per-candle line. The retains are the ones people skip and regret: keep one sealed candle per batch with its batch code, or you cannot investigate a complaint two months later.
What is my real cost per candle on this order?
More than the ₹254.01 on this page. ₹254.01 is the CSI portion of materials per saleable candle — wax, fragrance, dye, jar with lid, wick, wick sticker and care sticker, ₹127,005.20 across 500 saleable units. Still to add: two printed labels, a box, an insert, a share of a carton, cushioning and tape, plus labour on 524 pours, electricity, courier and GST. If a client offers ₹350, the remaining ₹95.99 has to cover all of that — and often will not.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. Product recommendations reflect the CSI range; the bill-of-materials structure, pack-rounding method, per-material buffer argument and pre-production check apply to any supplier.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left on CSI product pages — Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (Jaya Sawlani), Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (Soumili Gope), Eco Candle Wicks (Monika Deep), Gilli Mitti Patchouli Fragrance Oil (Renu), Candle Dye Liquid Purple (Antara Srinivas Iyer) and Sandalwood Fragrance Oil (Reena Bagal). All six are recorded by Judge.me as verified buyers. Names, ratings, dates and products are as recorded; two are shortened with an ellipsis and otherwise unedited. None describes a bulk purchase list, a 500-candle order or packaging supply — each is a quality report on a single material.

Basis for every figure: 500 saleable candles, 524 poured (6 approval samples + 6 retains + 12 replacements — illustrative allowances, not CSI specifications), 150 g fill, 8% fragrance load of finished weight = 12.00 g oil + 138.00 g wax. Requirement before buffer: 524 × 138 g = 72.312 kg wax; 524 × 12 g = 6.288 kg oil. The 3% transfer-loss allowance is an illustration of the arithmetic, not a CSI figure — CSI publishes no wastage, breakage or loss percentage. Buffered: 74.481 kg wax, 6.477 kg oil. Alternative convention: 8% of wax weight on a 150 g candle = 11.11 g oil + 138.89 g wax, a 444 g difference in oil across 500 candles.

Prices verified September 2026, every figure used above: CSI 464 ₹260.00/500 g, ₹507.40/1 kg, ₹5,074.00/10 kg → 7 × 10 kg + 5 × 1 kg = 75 kg = ₹38,055.00. Sandalwood ₹2,513.40/500 g and ₹5,026.80/1 kg (₹5.0268/g at both) → 6 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = 6.5 kg = ₹32,674.20; 7 × 1 kg = ₹35,187.60; at a 10% load 8.5 kg = ₹42,727.80. Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid 150 g ₹944.00/10, ₹1,888.00/20 (₹94.40 each, lid included) → 530 = ₹50,032.00; 540 = ₹50,976.00. Eco Candle Wicks Thin C1 flat ₹5.90 each (₹59.00/10, ₹295.00/50, ₹590.00/100, ₹2,950.00/500, ₹5,900.00/1,000) → 550 = ₹3,245.00; Thick C2 flat ₹9.44. Candle Wick Stickers ₹100.00/40 (₹2.50 each) → 14 sheets = 560 = ₹1,400.00; Large Wick Stickers ₹249.00/40. Care Stickers Roll ₹413.00/500 (₹0.83) and ₹699.00/1,000 (₹0.70). Dye Liquid Purple ₹236.00/15 g, ₹472.00/50 g, ₹900.00/100 g. Tools ₹354.00 + ₹354.00 + ₹708.00 + ₹1,062.00 = ₹2,478.00. Also cited: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599.00/1 kg and ₹5,999.00/10 kg (₹599.90/kg); Natural Soy Pearl Wax ₹450.00/1 kg, ₹424.80/kg at 5, 10 and 50 kg (₹21,240.00); Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹650.00/1 kg; Black Glass Jar with Black Lid 150 g ₹1,070.00/10, ₹2,140.00/20 (₹107.00 each); 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar ₹200.60/5, ₹1,475.00/50, ₹2,950.00/100 (₹29.50 each in the larger two); matte glass jars ₹354.00/5, ₹708.00/10 (₹70.80 each); Woody Oud ₹4,531.20/kg. CSI subtotal ₹127,005.20 ÷ 500 saleable = ₹254.01; ÷ 524 poured = ₹242.38.

What is deliberately absent: no price, pack size or product for separately-sold lids, printed labels, retail or gift boxes, box inserts, shipping cartons, cushioning or packing tape — CSI sells none of these. No dispatch or delivery time, no minimum order quantity, price slab, rate card or credit term, and no dye-load figure, because CSI publishes none of them. Fragrance ceilings of 10% (CSI 464) and 13% (Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468) are the wax manufacturers' stated formulation limits, not regulatory limits; the other thirteen waxes publish no ceiling. The ₹350 client price and the 2%, 3% and 5% buffer figures are illustrations, not CSI data. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
