How much wax for 750 × 150 g candles? At 8%, 103,500 g net; 108,357.6 g with 5 tests and 4% loss — CSI 468 as 10 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g (₹69,160.00).
How much fragrance oil? 9,000 g net (12 g per candle), 9,422.4 g with allowances — Mango Coconut 9 × 1 kg + 500 g for ₹37,658.00.
What if the client means 150 g of wax? Then each candle is 163.04 g with 13.04 g of oil, and the order is 117.78 kg of wax. Ask before quoting. See three readings of 150 g.
What the listed candle weight includes
When a client orders "750 candles of 150 g", the 150 g is almost always the finished weight of the candle in the jar — the figure you would put on a label. It includes the fragrance oil, because the oil is part of the candle. It does not include the jar, the lid or the wick tab, which are packaging. That is also CSI's convention for fragrance load: the load is a share of the finished weight. So the calculation starts from 150 g of finished candle, and the fragrance comes out of it.
The title does not give a fragrance load; this page uses 8% as a working assumption. At 8% a 150 g candle is 138 g of wax and 12 g of oil. Seven hundred and fifty of them are 112,500 g of finished candle: 103,500 g of wax and 9,000 g of oil. The order-sheet mistake is to read "150 g" as "150 g of wax" and buy 112.5 kg of wax plus 9 kg of oil — 9,000 g of wax the jars cannot hold, or candles that weigh 162 g against a 150 g label.

Reading A is the normal one. Reading B happens when a client specifies wax weight — some buyers do, especially if they have seen "150 g soy wax" on another brand's listing. It is a legitimate order, but it is a different, heavier candle (163.04 g) that needs a bigger jar fill and more oil. Reading C is not an order at all; it is a mistake on the purchasing sheet that either over-buys wax or produces candles heavier than the label.
The worked calculation for 750 candles
With reading A settled, the allowances follow the same order as every page in this cluster (the hub page sets it out): five test candles added as candles, then a 4% pour-loss allowance on the whole melt. Both are labelled working assumptions.

So for a 150 g label the order is 108.36 kg of wax and 9.42 kg of oil. If the client turns out to mean reading B, it becomes 117.78 kg and 10.24 kg. If your purchasing sheet makes mistake C, it asks for 117.78 kg of wax — 9,422.4 g too much for a 150 g label.
Rounding 108 kg to CSI 468 bags
Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 is listed at ₹325.00 for 500 g, ₹650.00 for 1 kg, ₹3,185.00 for 5 kg and ₹6,370.00 for 10 kg (CSI live pricing, pulled 24 September 2026) — ₹637.00 a kilo from 5 kg, 2.0% below the small bags. For 108,357.6 g the tight order is 10 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g for ₹69,160.00; eleven 10 kg bags cost ₹70,070.00 and leave 1,642.4 g spare. The listing stops at 10 kg, so an order this size is also a reasonable one to send for a WhatsApp quote — CSI publishes no volume discount figure, so compare any quote with the listed total. No fragrance ceiling for CSI 468 is quoted in this series; 8% is a working load inside the 6–10% range makers commonly test, and the wax maker's stated maximum is on the product page or available on WhatsApp.

Mango Coconut Fragrance Oil is one of the oils where bigger packs are genuinely cheaper: ₹5.00 a gram at 100 g, ₹3.96 at 500 g and 1 kg — 20.7% less. At 9.4 kg, every gram should come from 500 g or 1 kg bottles.

For a 150 g label the 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar with golden lug cap fits reading A: its brim holds roughly 172–180 g of soy wax on a labelled 0.86–0.90 g per ml approximation, so 150 g sits below it. Reading B's 163 g is much closer to the brim — another reason to settle the reading before ordering jars. The fill weight is not published; weigh a test pour. Jars: 755 poured + 10 spare. Wicks: 755 + 25 spare Eco Candle Wicks Thin C1; wick size per diameter is not published, so the five tests confirm it.

Because the label weight is fixed, a higher load always means less wax and more oil — the candle still weighs 150 g. That is the practical meaning of "the listed weight includes fragrance": the load moves grams between the two lines, never on top of them. For CSI 468 treat 10% as a test range, not a spec. For the fragrance side alone at this candle size, 500 × 150 g at 8% works the oil order, and 2,000 × 150 g covers the same label-versus-wax trap at scale.
