Oud Candle Fragrance Oil Wholesale in India

Is the kilo cheaper per gram than the 100 g pack? Usually not. On Woody Oud and Lavender Oud the per-kilo price is identical at every pack size, and on Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Sultan's Smoke and White Royal Oud the kilo works out a few rupees dearer per kilo than the 100 g pack. Only Amber Oud Royal (₹1,350 a kilo) and Dark Vanilla Oud (₹209 a kilo) genuinely step down against their 100 g packs, and Royal Oud's kilo sits ₹200 a kilo below its 500 g pack.
How many candles does one kilo of oud make? About 62 × 200 g candles at an 8% load (16 g of oil each) or 50 at 10% (20 g each). One kilo of each of the eight in-stock oud oils is 8 kg of oil — exactly 500 candles at 8% — and costs ₹64,363.20.
What is the largest oud pack CSI lists? 1 kg. There is no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack on any listing, so a bigger requirement is multiple kilos at the listed price, and recurring or factory volumes are quoted on WhatsApp. We never publish a price for a quantity that is not listed.

Every oud CSI stocks, priced by the kilo
"Oud" on a supplier's site covers more ground than most buyers expect. Some of these listings are single-direction oud built for candles, with a published load and a cure window. Some are fine perfume oils whose pages talk in maximum usage rates across ten product categories. Two are bakhoor-style smoke compositions written for car perfumes and majlis atmosphere, with no candle guidance at all. The table below is the whole shelf, in kilo-price order, with the stated note structure quoted from each product page exactly as it appears.
| Oud oil | Stated notes (verbatim from the product page) | Listed sizes | 1 kg price | Oil per candle @ 8% | @ 10% |

| Royal Oud Fragrance Oil | "Top Bergamot, Pink Pepper … Heart Oud, Rose, Cedarwood - the core of the composition. Smoky-woody oud with a warm floral depth from rose, grounded by the dry woodiness of cedarwood" | 100 g (sold out) · 500 g · 1 kg | ₹6,400 | ₹102.40 | ₹128 |

| Amber Oud Royal | "Top: Saffron, Bergamot, Cinnamon Heart: Oud, Rose, Patchouli Base: Amber, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Musk" | 100 g · 500 g · 1 kg | ₹11,640 | ₹186.24 | ₹232.80 |
| Lavender Oud | "Top: Lavender, Bergamot, Clary Sage Heart: Oud, Orris, Geranium, Cedarwood Base: Sandalwood, Amber, Tonka, Musk" | 100 g · 500 g · 1 kg | ₹12,000 | ₹192 | ₹240 |
| Regal Royal Oud (sold out in all three sizes) | "Top Notes:Saffron, subtle spice… Middle Notes:Oud (Agarwood), Cedarwood… Base Notes:Sandalwood, Amber, White Musk" | 100 g · 500 g · 1 kg — none available | — | — | — |
Two listings sit outside the table on purpose. Regal Royal Oud is named because its stated notes are among the most classical on the shelf, but all three of its sizes are currently unavailable, so there is no buy button for it anywhere on this page. And CSI lists Pure Hindi Oud Oil at ₹7,000 for one gram — a perfumery material sold by the gram, not a candle fragrance oil. At that rate the 16 g inside a single 200 g candle at 8% would be ₹1,12,000 of oil. It belongs in an attar or a solid perfume, and it is not costed anywhere else here.
Where the kilo saves money — and where it doesn't
Every buyer arrives assuming the kilo is the wholesale price and the 100 g is the retail one. On this shelf that assumption is wrong more often than it is right. The table below converts every listed oud pack into rupees per kilo so the ladder is visible in one column. Read the last column first: it is the money you actually save, per kilo, by stepping from the 100 g pack to the 1 kg pack.
| Oud oil | 100 g pack → per kg | 500 g pack → per kg | 1 kg pack → per kg | Saved per kg by buying the kilo |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Woody Oud | ₹453.12 → ₹4,531.20 | ₹2,265.60 → ₹4,531.20 | ₹4,531.20 | Nothing — identical at every size |
| Dark Vanilla Oud | ₹590 → ₹5,900 | ₹2,845 → ₹5,690 | ₹5,691 | ₹209 — and the 500 g is ₹1 a kilo cheaper still |
| Royal Oud | 100 g currently sold out | ₹3,300 → ₹6,600 | ₹6,400 | ₹200 against the 500 g pack |
| Midnight Bakhoor Royale | ₹799 → ₹7,990 | ₹3,999 → ₹7,998 | ₹7,999 | −₹9 — the kilo is marginally dearer |
| Sultan's Smoke | ₹799 → ₹7,990 | ₹3,999 → ₹7,998 | ₹7,999 | −₹9 — the kilo is marginally dearer |
| White Royal Oud | ₹810 → ₹8,100 | ₹4,051 → ₹8,102 | ₹8,103 | −₹3 — effectively flat |
| Amber Oud Royal | ₹1,299 → ₹12,990 | ₹5,999 → ₹11,998 | ₹11,640 | ₹1,350 — the only real break on the shelf |
| Lavender Oud | ₹1,200 → ₹12,000 | ₹6,200 → ₹12,400 | ₹12,000 | Nothing — and the 500 g is the dearest gram |
Set against a real order the pattern is stark. Say you need 16 kg of one oud — the quantity for a thousand 200 g candles at 8%. Buying that as sixteen 1 kg packs of Amber Oud Royal rather than 160 × 100 g packs saves ₹21,600. Doing the same on Woody Oud or Lavender Oud saves nothing at all, and on Midnight Bakhoor Royale it costs you ₹144 more than the same 16 kg bought in hundreds. The kilo still makes sense on those oils — one seal instead of ten, one lot instead of ten, one line on a GST invoice instead of ten — but it is an operations decision, not a procurement win.
What each oud page states, and what it leaves out
A wholesale decision rests on documentation as much as price. When you commit a kilo you are committing to pouring the same oil for months, and the fields the product page publishes are what let you write a repeatable recipe sheet. Here is what is actually published across the oud shelf — including the gaps, which matter just as much.
| Oud oil | Stated candle load | Stated cure | Flash point | Discolouration guidance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Woody Oud | "6-10% for candles and 10-15% for wax melts"; "Paraffin Wax 6-8%" | "Cure soy wax candles for 48-72 hours before burn testing" | None stated | None stated |
| Dark Vanilla Oud | "6-10% for candles, 10-15% for wax melts" | None stated | None stated | None stated |
| Royal Oud | "performs well in candles at up to 10% in soy, paraffin, and blended waxes"; "start your test batch at 6-8% and work up" | "Cure for 72-96 hours before assessing cold throw and burn performance" | Threshold line only: "Flash point >93°C" | None stated |
| Midnight Bakhoor Royale | None stated | None stated | None stated | None stated |
| Sultan's Smoke | None stated | None stated | None stated | None stated |
| White Royal Oud | "6-10% for candles and 10-15% for wax melts"; "Use 6-7% for a refined, hotel-lobby quality warmth"; "increase to 9-10%" | None stated | None stated | None stated |
| Amber Oud Royal | Usage table: "Candles (Soy/Paraffin/Blends) 10%"; "In candles, start at 7%" | None stated | Threshold line only: "Flash Point > 93°C" | None stated |
| Lavender Oud | Usage table: "Candles (Soy/Paraffin/Blends) 10%"; "In candles, start at 6–8%" | None stated | Threshold line only: "Flash Point > 93°C" | None stated |
Three things follow. First, no oud oil in the CSI range publishes a measured flash point. Three carry the shared "> 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" line, which is a threshold statement about alcohol formulation and not a measurement you can plan an add temperature around. Across the whole 107-page fragrance catalogue only eighteen pages state a specific figure, and none of them is an oud. If you need the number before you fix a process, ask for the SDS on WhatsApp rather than borrowing a figure from a similar-smelling oil.
Second, not one oud page states a discolouration or vanillin figure, even though several of these compositions carry vanilla, amber, resin and patchouli in their stated notes — materials that commonly tone pale wax. If your range pours white or cream, that test is yours to run before the kilo lands: one white control jar, lidded and dark, checked at day 7, 14 and 30. Which candle fragrances are least likely to discolour white wax sets out the method.
Third, the two bakhoor-style oils publish no candle guidance of any kind — no percentage, no cure, no wax compatibility line. They are perfectly buyable; they simply leave you to do the work the page has not. Start them at the lower end of whatever your wax states, cure long, and record everything.
The three kilos most oud ranges start with
Each card below carries the complete listed pack ladder with the per-kilo figure calculated for every size and a column showing roughly how many 200 g candles that pack pours at an 8% load. Choose on the candle you intend to sell — a ₹700 gifting candle and a ₹2,000 hotel-lobby candle are not served by the same oud.

Matching the kilo to a wax and a load
An oud kilo is only half a decision. The load you can actually pour is the lower of two published numbers: the oil page's candle band and the wax page's stated ceiling. Getting this wrong in a wholesale context is expensive, because you buy the oil and the wax in the same planning exercise and a mismatch shows up in every candle you pour for a quarter.
| Wax | 1 kg price | Stated fragrance load | Load to pour with an oud stating 6–10% | Wax needed per 1 kg of oud at that load |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | ₹599 | Up to 13% · 8–13% range · 10% recommended | 8–10% — the oil's band is the binding one | 11.5 kg at 8% · 9 kg at 10% |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 | ₹507.40 | Up to 10% | Up to 10% — both agree at the ceiling | 11.5 kg at 8% · 9 kg at 10% |
| Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 | ₹650 | Up to 13% · melt 50–53°C · pour 58–60°C | 8–10% — the oil's band again | 11.5 kg at 8% · 9 kg at 10% |
| Eco Soy CSI 400 | ₹399 | None stated · add fragrance at 80–90°C (85°C), stir 2 minutes | Hold at 8% until a cured jar has been burned | 11.5 kg at 8% |
The wax column is the reassuring one. One kilo of oud at an 8% load pairs with 11.5 kg of wax — because 62 candles × 184 g is 11.408 kg, and a 3–5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups takes it to about 11.5 kg. In Luxury Soy Wax Chunks that is one 10 kg bag plus three 500 g packs — ₹5,999 + ₹897 = ₹6,896. Against a kilo of Woody Oud at ₹4,531.20 the wax is the cheaper half of the pair; against a kilo of Lavender Oud at ₹12,000 it is barely a third of the cost. On an oud range, the oil is the budget.
Sizing a first wholesale order
The commonest mistake in a first oud order is symmetry: one kilo each of four oud oils because the collection has four candles in it. That spends ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 before one of them has been proven, and it usually ends with two half-used kilos. The sequence below spends less and learns more.
Scale that logic and the numbers stay tidy. A thousand 200 g candles at 8% needs 16 kg of one oud — sixteen 1 kg packs, because there is no larger listed pack. In Woody Oud that is ₹72,499.20; in White Royal Oud, ₹1,29,648; in Amber Oud Royal, ₹1,86,240. The full production arithmetic for runs at that size, including the wax and the wick columns, is set out in bulk woody fragrance oils for candle manufacturers.
How to verify an oud before you commit a kilo
"Strong", "long-lasting" and "room-filling" describe an experience, not a measurement. Nothing on these product pages measures throw, and no throw data is published anywhere in the range. What you can check are four things that are real, in this order.
| Check | Where the answer comes from | On the oud shelf specifically | What to do if it's missing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Note structure | The stated top / heart / base on the product page | All eight in-stock oud oils publish a structure; every one names oud or agarwood in the heart | Nothing missing — but read it, don't assume "oud" means smoky |
| Candle load | The page's stated candle percentage | Six of eight state one; Midnight Bakhoor Royale and Sultan's Smoke state none | Start at the low end of your wax's stated band and work up in 1% steps |
| Colour behaviour | A stated vanillin or discolouration line | None of the eight states one | Pour a white control jar and photograph it at day 7, 14 and 30 |
| Flash point | A measured value in °C on the page | None stated on any oud; three carry only the "> 93°C" threshold line | Ask for the SDS on WhatsApp; never borrow a figure from another oil |
Published reviews are the fifth input, and on this shelf they are thin: Woody Oud carries two and Dark Vanilla Oud one; the other six listings have none. That is not a verdict on the oils, but it does mean the burden of proof sits with your own test jars. A five-star review saying an oil has "strong performance in candles" is a real data point from a real buyer; it is not a measurement of throw in your wax, in your jar, with your wick.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials — we do not make or sell finished candles, and we do not manufacture fragrance oil. That is why this page tells you that the kilo is flat-priced on six of the eight oud oils we stock. A supplier with a margin on volume would bury that. We would rather you bought four 100 g bottles, burned them properly, and then committed a kilo you are still reordering in a year.
Every price, pack size and note quotation on this page comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where the current price always takes precedence. Stated notes, loads and cure windows are quoted verbatim from those pages; where a page states nothing — and on the oud shelf that includes every flash point and every discolouration line — this guide says so rather than filling the gap. Per-candle figures are our arithmetic, shown in full, on the convention that a 200 g candle at 8% is 184 g of wax and 16 g of oil.

Figures verified September 2026: Every oud pack and price used above appears in the ladder table or in a pick-card size table on this page. The prices carrying the arithmetic are the 1 kg packs — Woody Oud ₹4,531.20, Dark Vanilla Oud ₹5,691, Royal Oud ₹6,400, Midnight Bakhoor Royale ₹7,999, Sultan's Smoke ₹7,999, White Royal Oud ₹8,103, Amber Oud Royal ₹11,640, Lavender Oud ₹12,000 — plus the 100 g and 500 g packs shown in the ladder table. Regal Royal Oud is sold out in all three sizes, so it is named but not linked. Pure Hindi Oud Oil 1 g ₹7,000. Waxes in the pairing table: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg ₹599, 500 g ₹299, 10 kg ₹5,999; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40, 5 kg ₹2,537; Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 1 kg ₹650; Eco Soy CSI 400 1 kg ₹399. Stated loads, cures and note structures are quoted verbatim in the tables above and are not repeated here. No oud page states a measured flash point; three carry only the shared "> 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" threshold line, which is not a measurement. No oud page states a vanillin content or a discolouration warning. No page in the range states a shelf life, storage instruction, IFRA certificate number or lab result, and none is claimed here. Wax loads are formulation limits stated by the wax pages, not regulatory limits. Candle maths assumes fragrance load as a percentage of finished candle weight (200 g at 8% = 184 g wax + 16 g oil; at 10% = 180 g wax + 20 g oil); 1 kg of oil ÷ 16 g = 62 candles rounded down; 62 × 184 g = 11.408 kg of wax, carried to ~11.5 kg with a 3–5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
