Candle Business Guides · Dehradun
There is no trade rate, no dealer list and no negotiated price to be let into. What exists is a printed pack ladder on every listing — and the ladders do not all point the same way. This guide measures eight of them, names the three rungs where buying bigger actually costs more, and costs a 300-candle winter order to the rupee.
₹9
what ten 100 g bottles of Love Spell cost less than one 1 kg bottle of the same oil — ₹4,490 against ₹4,499. On the same shelf, Pumpkin Spice's kilo is ₹590 cheaper than ten hundreds. The rung, not the negotiation, is the whole of wholesale · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI give wholesale prices to Dehradun businesses? There is no separate trade list and no published discount. Every buyer reads the same five rungs — 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg depending on the listing — and the "wholesale price" is whichever rung you choose. Above the listed 1 kg bottle, a quote is issued on WhatsApp for a named oil and quantity.

So is the biggest pack always cheapest per gram? No, and this is the finding that matters. On Love Spell the 100 g rung is cheaper per gram than both the 500 g and the kilo. On Lavender Cranberry Coconut the 50 g is the cheapest rung on the whole listing. On Mahogany Shea the price per gram stops falling at 100 g and never moves again.

Where does the ladder actually pay? On Pumpkin Spice, where the kilo is ₹5.31 a gram against ₹5.90 at 100 g — a real ₹590 saving per kilogram. And on almost every listing at the bottom: stepping off the 15 g rung is the single biggest per-gram fall you will ever get.

What does a wholesale order look like? The one costed below is 300 × 150 g candles across three scents: 3.6 kg of oil, 41.4 kg of wax, 300 wicks, 300 jars — ₹72,988.24, or ₹243.29 of materials per candle.
The short answer
Wholesale here is a division, done per oil: pack price ÷ grams, five times, on the listing you are actually buying. Do it before you ask anybody for anything, because on this shelf the answer is not the one you expect three times out of eight.
Never carry a ladder across from one oil to another: Lavender Cranberry Coconut and Neroli Signature Grade are priced identically at 15 g, 50 g and 100 g — and their kilos are ₹400 apart. The bottom of a ladder tells you nothing about its top.
Buy cover, then check the rung: work out the grams your season needs, find the cheapest listed combination that covers it, and only then look at what is left over. A cheaper gram you cannot pour before the season ends is not a saving, it is stock.

What the rung is worth inside one 150 g candle — dearest rung against cheapest rung Mahogany Shea ₹131.22 ₹58.62 · spread ₹72.60 Lav Cranberry Coconut ₹106.40 ₹95.76 · spread ₹10.64 Pumpkin Spice ₹84.96 ₹63.72 · spread ₹21.24 Love Spell ₹59.98 ₹53.88 · spread ₹6.10 Pale bar = 12 g of oil at the listing's dearest rung · solid bar = at its cheapest rung · 150 g candle at an 8% load Cheapest rung: Mahogany Shea 100 gm · Lav Cranberry Coconut 50 g · Pumpkin Spice 1 kg · Love Spell 100 g
Bar length is rupees of fragrance inside one 150 g candle. The whole ladder is worth ₹72.60 a candle on Mahogany Shea and ₹6.10 on Love Spell — a twelve-fold difference in how much the rung decision is even worth making. Read the last line carefully: only one of these four oils has its cheapest rung at the kilo. On two of them the cheapest gram sits at 100 g or 50 g, which is not where anybody looks for a wholesale price.
Straight answer
What does wholesale candle fragrance oil actually cost a Dehradun business?
Exactly what the pack ladder says, because there is no trade list to be admitted to. Every listing carries up to five rungs and the cheapest gram is at a different rung on different oils. Mahogany Shea falls hard and then stops: ₹10.93 a gram at 15 gm, ₹6.61 at 50 gm, ₹4.8852 at 100 gm — and ₹4.8852 at 500 gm and at the kilo too, so ten 100 gm bottles and one 1000 gm bottle both cost ₹4,885.20. Love Spell zig-zags: ₹4.98 at 50 g, ₹4.49 at 100 g, ₹4.998 at 500 g, ₹4.499 at the kilo — so the 500 g bottle is the dearest gram on the listing and ten 100 g bottles beat the kilo by ₹9. Lavender Cranberry Coconut creeps upward from ₹7.98 at 50 g to ₹7.999 at the kilo, so twenty 50 g bottles are ₹19 cheaper than one kilo. Only Pumpkin Spice behaves the way buyers assume: ₹7.08 → ₹6.61 → ₹5.90 → ₹5.90 → ₹5.31, a genuine ₹590 saving on the kilo against ten hundreds. Below the 100 g rung the ladder always pays: on Mahogany Shea the step from 15 gm to 100 gm is a 55% cut per gram. So the working rule for a Dehradun buyer is to size the season in grams, price the cheapest listed combination that covers it, and never carry an assumption from one listing to the next. Above the listed 1 kg — the largest fragrance pack on the site — multiply the kilos, treat the listed per-kilo figure as a ceiling, and send the scent, the grams and the date to WhatsApp for a quote.
One line: the trade discount you are looking for is already printed five times on the listing, and on three of these four oils it is not at the bottom of the column.
Costing a season? Mahogany Shea 100 gm at ₹488.52, Love Spell 100 g at ₹449, Pumpkin Spice 1 kg at ₹5,310 and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 5 kg at ₹2,995 — every rung priced on the page before you commit.

What "wholesale" can honestly mean here

Most wholesale enquiries are a request to be let into a room. The awkward news is that the room does not exist, and the prices that were supposed to be in it are already on the page.

Buyers use the word wholesale to mean four different things, and it is worth separating them before anyone sends a message, because three of the four are already settled and one of them is not. The table below pairs the request most Dehradun businesses are about to send with what it will actually get them, and with the version that gets a useful reply.

Four things buyers mean by wholesale · September 2026
What you were going to ask, what it gets you, and what to ask instead
What you meant What is actually available Send this instead
"A trade rate for my business" No trade list and no published business discount exists. Every buyer sees the same rungs Nothing — read the ladder. The rung is the rate, and on three of the oils here it is not the top rung
"A price list for all your oils" Already published, per listing, at every pack size, with the stock state of each rung Nothing. Build your own two-column sheet: oil, and price per gram at the rung you would buy
"Bulk pricing for a big order" Meaningful only above the largest listed pack. 1 kg is the largest fragrance bottle on the site "12 kg of [named oil] across four scents, needed by [date] — what can you do?" A named quantity and a date get an answer; "bulk rates?" does not
"5 kg or 10 kg of one fragrance" Not listed anywhere. No price exists for it on the site, so any figure you have seen for it was invented Multiply the kilos to set your ceiling, then ask for a quote. Never quote a client a price CSI has not given you
The mistake: asking for a discount instead of pricing the ladder. A Dehradun business that sends "do you offer wholesale rates?" gets, correctly, a pointer back to the listings — and has learned nothing. The same business that spends fifteen minutes with a calculator learns that its four chosen oils want four different rungs, that one of them should be bought as ten small bottles rather than one large one, and that its total oil bill changes by more than any discount it was hoping to be granted. The arithmetic is free and it is available tonight. The equivalent exercise for a production contract is in bulk candle fragrance oil supply for Dehradun businesses.

Eight ladders, four shapes

Here are eight in-stock listings priced per gram at every rung they carry. The right-hand column names the shape, because the shape is the thing to recognise — once you can see which of the four you are looking at, the buying decision takes ten seconds.

Price per gram by rung · eight in-stock listings · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Where each ladder falls, where it flattens, and where it turns back up
Listing 15 g 50 g 100 g 500 g 1 kg Shape
Mahogany Shea ₹10.93 ₹6.61 ₹4.8852 ₹4.8852 ₹4.8852 Cliff then flat. All the saving is below 100 gm; above it, nothing
Pumpkin Spice ₹7.08 ₹6.61 ₹5.90 ₹5.90 ₹5.31 Three steps down. The kilo is the only real saving above 100 gm
Autumn ₹6.29 ₹5.428 ₹5.428 ₹5.428 ₹5.428 One step, then dead flat. Buy any size from 50 gm up with no penalty
Bergamot Amber ₹7.00 ₹5.60 ₹5.60 ₹5.436 ₹5.437 Two steps, then a hair upward. The 500 gm is fractionally the cheapest gram
Neroli Signature Grade ₹8.87 ₹7.98 ₹7.99 ₹7.798 ₹7.599 Wobble, then a real fall. The kilo is genuinely the cheapest rung
Lavender Cranberry Coconut ₹8.87 ₹7.98 ₹7.99 ₹7.998 ₹7.999 Falls once, then climbs. The 50 g is the cheapest gram on the listing
Love Spell — ₹4.98 ₹4.49 ₹4.998 ₹4.499 Zig-zag. The 500 g is the dearest gram; the 100 g is the cheapest
Juicy Orange ₹8.40 ₹7.58 ₹7.49 ₹7.498 ₹7.499 Falls, then flattens upward. The 100 g is the cheapest gram by a whisker
Worked out above: price per gram = pack price ÷ grams in the pack. Mahogany Shea 15 gm ₹164.02 ÷ 15 = ₹10.93 · 50 gm ₹330.40 ÷ 50 = ₹6.608 · 100 gm ₹488.52 ÷ 100 = ₹4.8852 · 500 gm ₹2,442.60 ÷ 500 = ₹4.8852 · 1000 gm ₹4,885.20 ÷ 1000 = ₹4.8852. Love Spell 50 g ₹249 = ₹4.98 · 100 g ₹449 = ₹4.49 · 500 g ₹2,499 = ₹4.998 · 1 kg ₹4,499 = ₹4.499; Love Spell carries no 15 g rung. Lavender Cranberry Coconut ₹133 / ₹399 / ₹799 / ₹3,999 / ₹7,999. Neroli Signature Grade ₹133 / ₹399 / ₹799 / ₹3,899 / ₹7,599. Pumpkin Spice ₹106.20 / ₹330.40 / ₹590 / ₹2,950 / ₹5,310. Autumn ₹94.40 / ₹271.40 / ₹542.80 / ₹2,714 / ₹5,428. Bergamot Amber ₹105.02 / ₹280 / ₹560 / ₹2,718 / ₹5,437. Juicy Orange ₹126 / ₹379 / ₹749 / ₹3,749 / ₹7,499.

Look at rows five and six. Neroli Signature Grade and Lavender Cranberry Coconut are priced identically at 15 g, 50 g and 100 g — ₹133, ₹399 and ₹799 — and then the ladders separate. Neroli's 500 g is ₹3,899 and its kilo ₹7,599; Lavender Cranberry Coconut's are ₹3,999 and ₹7,999. Same bottom three rungs, ₹400 apart at the top. That is the single most useful thing on this page: a ladder cannot be inferred, only read, and two listings that look identical in a shortlist can be four hundred rupees a kilogram apart in a purchase order.

Two divisions, then stop
Before any order above 100 g, do exactly two sums on the listing in front of you. First, pack price ÷ grams at every rung, written in a column. Second, the cheapest listed combination that covers your requirement — which is not always the biggest single bottle, as Love Spell demonstrates. Do not do a third sum comparing this oil against another oil per gram: they are not substitutes, and a cheaper gram of a scent your customer does not want is the most expensive thing in the catalogue.

The three rungs where buying bigger costs more

Three specific reversals on this shelf are worth writing on the wall, because each one is a live way to lose money while feeling like a shrewd buyer.

One. Love Spell's 500 g bottle. At ₹2,499 for 500 g it is ₹4.998 a gram — dearer than its own 100 g at ₹4.49 and dearer than its kilo at ₹4.499. If you need a kilogram, two 500 g bottles cost ₹4,998 against ₹4,499 for the single kilo: ₹499 thrown away for no extra oil. And if you need a kilogram but do not want ₹4,499 sitting in one bottle, ten 100 g bottles come to ₹4,490 — nine rupees cheaper than the kilo and divisible into ten separate, sealed, individually dateable units.

Two. Lavender Cranberry Coconut above 50 g. Its cheapest gram is the 50 g bottle at ₹7.98, and every rung above it is fractionally dearer: ₹7.99 at 100 g, ₹7.998 at 500 g, ₹7.999 at the kilo. Twenty 50 g bottles are ₹7,980 against ₹7,999 for the kilo. Nobody should buy twenty 50 g bottles to save ₹19 — the point is the opposite one. Because there is no penalty for buying small on this listing, you are free to buy exactly the cover you need and nothing more.

Three. Mahogany Shea above 100 gm. Flat at ₹4.8852 a gram from 100 gm all the way to the kilo, so ten 100 gm bottles and one 1000 gm bottle are the same ₹4,885.20. There is no wholesale reward here at all above the third rung, and no penalty either — which means the choice is purely about handling. Ten sealed bottles opened one at a time beat one kilo bottle opened forty times, particularly through a Doon valley monsoon.

Do not read a steep ladder as a quality signal, in either direction. Mahogany Shea's per-gram price falls 55% between its 15 gm and 100 gm rungs; Love Spell's barely moves at all. Neither fact says anything about how either oil performs in wax. Ladder shape is a pricing decision made by whoever set up the listing; throw, cure behaviour and colour behaviour are properties of the oil, and the only way to learn them is a cured burn test in your own jar. The method is in how to test hot throw before launching a candle fragrance.

Four oils, four ladders

One card per ladder shape. Each shows every rung the listing carries, its price, the per-kilogram figure at that rung, and roughly how many 150 g candles the pack pours at an 8% load — the size the winter order below uses.

1
Creamy woody · cliff then flat · no stated candle load
Mahogany Shea
Almond over creamy shea and coconut, into sandalwood and cedar, finishing on light musk and tonka bean; the page describes it as infused with natural essential oils including cedarwood, cedar leaf, patchouli and olibanum, and aimed at soft, inviting candles. It is the cheapest per gram of the four at ₹4.8852, and the ladder is the cleanest teaching example on the shelf: the price per gram collapses from ₹10.93 at 15 gm to ₹4.8852 at 100 gm and then does not move again. The page states no candle percentage and no flash point, so pour it at 8%, stay inside the wax page's ceiling, and let a cured burn decide. Buy it in 100 gm units unless you have a handling reason not to.

Juicy floral · zig-zag ladder · stated 8–10% in soy
Love Spell Fragrance Oil
Peach, cherry blossom and red apple settling into jasmine, lilac and soft rose, over white musk and powdery vanilla. Its page is unusually complete for costing purposes: 8–10% in soy, up to 6% in paraffin with testing recommended, a 48–72 hour soy cure, and vanillin present with slight yellowing possible in white wax. That last line is a buying instruction — put it in coloured or amber glass, not white matte. The ladder is the reversal to remember: ₹4.49 a gram at 100 g, ₹4.998 at 500 g. Need a kilogram? Ten 100 g bottles at ₹4,490 beat the kilo at ₹4,499, and two 500 g bottles at ₹4,998 are the worst route by ₹499.

Soft floral gourmand · climbs after 50 g · stated 8–10% in soy
Lavender Cranberry Coconut Fragrance Oil
The listing whose ladder goes the wrong way, and the one that proves a ladder cannot be inferred. Its stated candle load is 8–10% in soy wax, its projection is described as moderate with a soft trail, and it carries its own colour warning: the vanilla content may cause soft cream or pale golden toning in white or light-coloured wax over time, with the page itself suggesting soft purple, lavender, cream and dusty tones instead. Per gram it is cheapest at the 50 g rung (₹7.98) and dearest at the kilo (₹7.999). Compare it with Neroli Signature Grade — identical at 15 g, 50 g and 100 g, ₹400 cheaper per kilogram — and never assume again.

Spiced gourmand · the kilo that genuinely pays · stated 6–10% for candles
Pumpkin Spice
Fresh pumpkin, ginger and cinnamon bark over nutmeg, clove and allspice, on vanilla bean, caramelised sugar and cedarwood; the page rates its strength as medium to strong and states 6–10% for candles and 8–12% for wax melts, with the explicit note that a lower percentage gives a subtle autumn backdrop and a higher one a more prominent pumpkin-pie aroma. That published band is useful for a Dehradun maker buying into a cool-season range. It is also the one oil here where the top rung is the right one: ₹5.31 a gram at the kilo against ₹5.90 at 100 gm, so a kilogram bought as one bottle saves ₹590 against ten.

A 300-candle winter order, costed

Dehradun's cool season carries the festive weeks, the Garhwali observances that follow Diwali, the Mussoorie Christmas and New Year visitor trade, and the wedding stretch. A business selling into all of that plausibly needs three hundred 150 g candles across three scents. Here is that order, with each scent bought at the rung its own ladder says to buy.

300 × 150 g candles · three scents · 8% load · CSI live pricing, September 2026
What each line needs, the route that costs least, and what it comes to
Line Requirement Cheapest listed route Cost
Mahogany Shea · 100 candles 1,200 g 1 × 1000 gm + 2 × 100 gm — identical per gram either way ₹5,862.24
Love Spell · 100 candles 1,200 g 12 × 100 g. Buying 1 kg + 2 × 100 g costs ₹5,397 — ₹9 more ₹5,388
Pumpkin Spice · 100 candles 1,200 g 1 × 1 kg + 2 × 100 gm. Twelve 100 gm would cost ₹7,080 ₹6,490
Fragrance subtotal 3.6 kg Three oils, three different routes ₹17,740.24
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 41.4 kg, plus a 3–5% planning allowance 8 × 5 kg + 2 × 1 kg = 42 kg at ₹599 a kilo ₹25,158
Eco Candle Wicks · Thin (C1) 300 wicks 3 × 100 wicks at ₹590 — flat at ₹5.90 each to 1,000 ₹1,770
Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 gram) 300 jars 15 × pack of 20 at ₹1,888 — ₹94.40 each, flat ₹28,320
Order total 300 finished candles ₹72,988.24

That is ₹243.29 of materials per candle, of which the fragrance is ₹59.13 on average and the jar is ₹94.40. Two things are worth noticing. First, the jar is the biggest line in the order at ₹28,320 — larger than all three fragrances combined. Makers who spend an evening optimising the fragrance rung and choose the jar in thirty seconds have optimised the wrong column. Second, this jar's page states a 150 g fill capacity and that it is safe for a hot pour up to 85°C, which sits comfortably above the Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page's stated 70–80°C pour range. Check that pairing yourself whenever you change a vessel; it is the kind of detail that only shows up as cracked glass.

Count cover in weeks of selling, not in kilograms
Three hundred candles is not a quantity, it is a duration. If your outlets take about twenty-five candles a week through the cool season, this order is roughly twelve weeks of cover — which is the right shape for a season that runs from the festive weeks into the wedding months. If they take eight a week, the same order is nine months of cover, the last four of them in the monsoon, and you should be buying a third of it. Work out the weekly rate first; the rung arithmetic is worthless applied to a quantity you do not need.

Above a kilo: multiply, then ask

The largest listed fragrance pack anywhere on the site is 1 kg, carried by 87 of the 106 listings. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance bottle, so above a kilogram there is no page to read and no price to quote. What you can do — honestly and precisely — is set your own ceiling.

Take the winter order above and double it. Seven point two kilograms of oil bought at the same rungs would cost ₹35,480.48, because every rung in play here is linear within itself. That figure is your ceiling: it is what the quantity costs at listed prices, and it is the number to put in your own budget before you have spoken to anybody. Then send the quote request: the named oils, the grams of each, the delivery date you are working back from, and whether you need a GST invoice and documentation. What the quote comes back as is not something this page can predict, and any guide that tells you what a CSI bulk quote will be has made it up.

The CSI principle
Wholesale is not a door you are let through. It is a column you read — and on this shelf three of the eight columns do not do what you assumed.
A buyer who prices every rung before ordering will beat a buyer who successfully negotiates, because the spread between the best and worst listed route on a single kilogram of one oil here is ₹499, and no one grants that to anybody. It is simply printed, and most people do not read it.
Above the listed kilo there is no page to read. Send the named oils, the grams and your delivery date and ask for a quote — bulk pricing, GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation are all handled on the same line.

What holding 3.6 kg in the valley asks of you

A wholesale order is not only a price. It is thirteen or fifteen bottles standing in a room that is cold in January and wet in July, and both of those do something.

The winter order above arrives as roughly fifteen separate fragrance bottles. That is a stock-keeping job before it is a candle-making job, and Dehradun's year gives it two different difficulties at opposite ends of the calendar. None of what follows is a CSI specification: no fragrance page states a storage temperature, a storage instruction, or a shelf life, so everything here is practice you adopt, and it should be described to clients as practice rather than as a supplier claim.

In the cold, dry stretch, some blended oils will look cloudy or thicker in the bottle. That is ordinary low-temperature behaviour of a blend, not information about the oil. Bring the bottle to room temperature, stir it, weigh as normal, and do not add extra to compensate for what it looked like. Warming it on a direct heat source is the one thing not to do. In the long wet stretch, the risk moves to everything around the oil: caps left loose, labels that will not stick, cartons that soften and stop stacking, and condensation on cold glass the moment a jar comes out of a cupboard into a humid room.

The practical answer is the same one that made ten 100 g bottles attractive on Mahogany Shea and Love Spell: keep the stock sealed in units you will actually finish. A kilo bottle gets opened forty times across a season; ten hundreds get opened four times each. Date every bottle in your own hand on arrival, write the gross weight beside it, and use oldest first. That is four seconds per bottle and it is the only inventory record that will exist.

Nobody was ever granted a wholesale rate worth ₹499 a kilogram. It was printed on the listing the whole time, three rungs from the bottom, in the row nobody reads.

1
Convert the season into grams before you open the catalogueCandles × finished weight × load. Three hundred 150 g candles at 8% is 3,600 g of oil and 41,400 g of wax. Write both figures down. Every decision after this is a lookup, not a judgement.
2
Price every rung on every shortlisted listing, per gramFive divisions per oil, four oils, twenty sums. This is the step that produces the ₹9, the ₹499 and the ₹590 in this guide, and it is the step almost nobody does.
3
Find the cheapest listed combination that covers each requirementNot the biggest bottle — the cheapest combination. On Love Spell that is twelve 100 g bottles; on Pumpkin Spice it is a kilo plus two hundreds; on Mahogany Shea it makes no difference at all, so choose on handling instead.
4
Confirm each rung is actually in stock, then add wax, wicks and jarsAvailability is per pack size. A sold-out 500 g does not make the oil unavailable, but it does make your plan unavailable. Then price the wax against the same requirement — 8 × 5 kg is marginally cheaper per kilo than 4 × 10 kg here — and the jars, which will probably be the biggest line in the order.
5
Only then send the quote request, with numbers in itNamed oils, grams, delivery date, GST and documentation requirements. You now know your ceiling — ₹17,740.24 for this order's oil at listed prices — so you can evaluate any answer you get instead of hoping it sounds good.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and does not make the oils it sells. A page written to maximise an order value would tell you the biggest bottle is always the best value. This one tells you that on three of the four featured oils it is not, and that on one of them ten small bottles beat the kilo outright. We publish that because a business that buys the right rung reorders, and a business that discovers the reversal after the invoice does not.

Every price and pack size here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Every per-gram figure is a division shown in the working note above the tables. Stated loads and colour warnings are quoted only where the listing states them: Love Spell states 8–10% in soy, up to 6% in paraffin, a 48–72 hour cure and vanillin present with slight yellowing possible; Lavender Cranberry Coconut states 8–10% in soy and its own pale-toning warning; Pumpkin Spice states 6–10% for candles and 8–12% for wax melts; Mahogany Shea states no candle percentage at all, and this guide says so. No fragrance page states a shelf life or storage condition, so the stock-keeping advice here is practice, not specification.

Frequently asked questions

Does CSI offer wholesale prices on fragrance oils to Dehradun businesses?
There is no separate trade list and no published business discount. Every buyer sees the same published rungs — 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg depending on the listing — and your "wholesale price" is whichever rung you buy. That is not a brush-off: the spread between the best and worst listed route to one kilogram of Love Spell is ₹499, which is larger than most discounts anyone would grant. Above the listed 1 kg bottle, send a named oil, a quantity in grams and a date for a quote on WhatsApp.
Is a 1 kg bottle always cheaper per gram than a 500 g?
No. On Love Spell the kilo is ₹4.499 a gram and the 500 g is ₹4.998 — the kilo wins there — but its 100 g rung at ₹4.49 beats both. On Lavender Cranberry Coconut every rung above 50 g is fractionally dearer than the 50 g. On Mahogany Shea everything from 100 gm upward is identical at ₹4.8852. Only on Pumpkin Spice does the kilo behave as expected, at ₹5.31 against ₹5.90 at 100 gm. Divide, per listing, every time.
What is the cheapest way to buy 1.2 kg of one fragrance oil?
It depends entirely on the listing. For Love Spell: twelve 100 g bottles at ₹5,388, against ₹5,397 for a kilo plus two hundreds. For Pumpkin Spice: one kilo plus two 100 gm at ₹6,490, against ₹7,080 for twelve hundreds. For Mahogany Shea: ₹5,862.24 whichever way you combine packs from 100 gm up. Work it out on the listing in front of you and never carry the answer across to a different oil.
How much oil and wax does a 300-candle run need, and what does it cost?
At 150 g per candle and an 8% load: 3.6 kg of fragrance oil and 41.4 kg of wax — 12 g of oil and 138 g of wax per candle. Across three scents at the rungs above, the fragrance comes to ₹17,740.24, 42 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks to ₹25,158, 300 Eco Candle Wicks to ₹1,770 and 300 jars at 150 g capacity to ₹28,320 — ₹72,988.24 in total, or ₹243.29 of materials per candle. Add a 3–5% wax allowance for spills and top-ups when planning.
Can I get 5 kg or 10 kg of one fragrance oil delivered to Dehradun?
Not as a listed pack — 1 kg is the largest fragrance bottle on the site, carried by 87 of the 106 listings. You can order multiple kilos, and the listed per-kilo price is your ceiling for budgeting. For recurring or larger volumes, send the named oil, the quantity in grams and your delivery date to WhatsApp for a quote. CSI publishes no price above the listed packs, so any 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance price you have seen quoted elsewhere was not taken from the store.
Is it worth buying the bigger pack just to hold stock?
Only if you will pour it inside the season. On Mahogany Shea and Lavender Cranberry Coconut there is no per-gram reward at all for going bigger, so buying small costs you nothing and leaves you sealed, dateable units — which matters in a city with a cold winter and a long wet monsoon. Where the kilo genuinely is cheaper, as on Pumpkin Spice at ₹590 a kilogram, weigh that against the cash committed and the months the bottle will stand open. Cover in weeks of selling is the number to decide on.
There is no trade list. There is a column, and it repays reading.
Eight ladders, four shapes, three reversals — and a 300-candle order at ₹243.29 of materials each.

Diagram: 12 g of oil (150 g candle at 8%) × the dearest and cheapest listed per-gram figure on each listing. Order maths: 300 × 150 g at 8% = 12 g oil and 138 g wax each, so 3,600 g oil and 41,400 g wax; wax bought as 8 × 5 kg ₹2,995 plus 2 × 1 kg ₹599 = 42 kg ₹25,158 at ₹599/kg; Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 100 wicks ₹590 × 3 = ₹1,770 (₹5.90 each, flat to 1,000); Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 gram) pack of 20 ₹1,888 × 15 = ₹28,320 (₹94.40 each). Total ₹17,740.24 + ₹25,158 + ₹1,770 + ₹28,320 = ₹72,988.24, ÷ 300 = ₹243.29. Doubling the oil at the same rungs gives ₹35,480.48 as a listed-price ceiling. Range-wide counts: 106 fragrance listings, 96 with a pack in stock, 87 listing a 1 kg bottle, 82 listing a 500 g, 55 listing a 15 g with 50 of those in stock, cheapest in-stock pack ₹68.44, cheapest 500 g ₹1,593.
