Wax, jar, wick and fragrance are the four lines every maker costs. The accessories that finish the candle — the sticker under the tab, the care label on the base, the tissue in the box — are the lines nobody costs, and at volume they are the difference between a margin you planned and a margin you discovered.
₹3.33
the two consumable stickers on one finished candle — wick sticker ₹2.50 + care sticker ₹0.83 · ₹3.20 at the 1,000-roll rate, or ₹38,400 a year at 1,000 candles a month · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What do candle accessories actually cost per candle? Two things are consumed on every unit: a wick sticker at ₹2.50 (₹100 per sheet of 40) and a care sticker at ₹0.83 (₹413 per roll of 500), so ₹3.33 per candle. Everything else on the accessory bench is reusable and amortises to under a rupee.

Which accessory returns the most? The Candle Care Stickers Roll at ₹0.83. One sticker carries trim length, first-burn instruction, room size and nose fatigue — the four things that generate almost every complaint a candle brand receives.

Which ones reward buying in quantity? Genuinely only two. The care roll drops from ₹0.83 to ₹0.70 at the 1,000 size, and bamboo stirring sticks drop from ₹23.60 to ₹18.88 at 100. Steel wick holders are a flat ₹50 per unit whether you buy 5, 10 or 25.

What about boxes, tissue and tape? They live in the Packaging Materials collection (10 products). None of them carry a price in the September 2026 export this page was written from, so no figure for them appears here. Price them from the collection page or on WhatsApp before you finalise a costing sheet.
The short answer
Consumables (every candle): Candle Wick Stickers ₹100 / 40 (₹2.50 each) · Candle Care Stickers Roll ₹413 / 500 (₹0.83) or ₹699 / 1,000 (₹0.70).
Reusables (bought once): Wick Centering Device ₹118 / 5 · Bamboo Wick Holder ₹118 / 5 · Bamboo Stirring Sticks ₹118 / 5 · wick trimmer ₹177. That bench is ₹531 and it lasts.
Skip until you need them: Wick Setting Tool ₹399 and Premium Candle Wicking Needle ₹472 are mould-and-taper tools, not container tools. Equipment — melters, pitchers, thermometers — belongs on the tools page, not here.
The finishing cost stack — one 200 g soy candle, CSI pricing, September 2026 Wax · 184 g₹110.38 Jar + lid₹47.20 Wick₹5.90 Wick sticker₹2.50 Care sticker₹0.83 Box · tissue · tapenot priced in this export — price it yourself
Bars are to scale against ₹110.38 of wax. The two solid finishing lines — wick sticker ₹2.50 and care sticker ₹0.83 — are almost invisible per candle and total ₹38,400 a year at 1,000 candles a month. The dashed bar is the honest gap: outer packaging is part of the finish, its width here is illustrative only, and the September 2026 export carries no figure for it. Wax at ₹5,999 / 10 kg, jar at ₹236 per pack of 5, wick at ₹590 per 100.
Straight answer
What do candle making accessories cost at wholesale in India, and which ones matter?
Only two accessories are consumed on every candle you sell. A wick sticker at ₹2.50 (₹100 per sheet of 40) and a care sticker at ₹0.83 (₹413 per roll of 500, falling to ₹0.70 on the 1,000 roll). That is ₹3.33 per finished candle against roughly ₹243.91 of wax, fragrance, jar and wick — about 1.4% of materials, and ₹38,400 a year once you are pouring a thousand candles a month. Everything else on the accessory bench is reusable: centering devices at ₹23.60 each, bamboo wick holders at ₹23.60, stirring sticks from ₹18.88 and a trimmer at ₹177. A working container bench is ₹531 bought once. The expensive mistake is not the stickers — it is buying ₹1,459.82 of mould-and-taper tooling you will never use on a jar, and leaving outer packaging unpriced until the first big order lands.
One line: two stickers at ₹3.33 a candle, a ₹531 reusable bench, and a packaging bill you must price before you quote — that is the whole accessory budget.
If you buy one thing off this page, buy the care roll. ₹413 for 500 one-inch stickers is five months of labels at 100 candles a month, and it is the cheapest customer-service intervention available to a candle brand. ₹699 for 1,000 at the 1.5-inch size brings it to ₹0.70.

The finishing cost stack, line by line

Ask a candle maker what a candle costs and you will get four numbers. Ask what it costs to finish one and you usually get a pause.

Most costing sheets have four rows: wax, fragrance, jar, wick. They are the biggest numbers and the easiest to find, because every supplier prices them prominently. What goes missing is everything between "the candle is set" and "the parcel is sealed" — the sticker under the wick tab, the label on the base, the box, the tissue, the tape, the card. Individually they round to nothing. Collectively they are a real line, and because nobody costs them they come out of margin rather than out of price.

Here is the whole stack for one reference candle, built only from prices that exist in the CSI September 2026 export: a 200 g soy container candle at an 8% fragrance load — 184 g of wax, 16 g of oil — in a lidded glass jar with a single cotton wick. Substitute your own wax and oil; the finishing rows do not change.

Box, tissue, filler, tape, card Packaging Materials collection, 10 products Not in the September 2026 export Not stated here
Priced total Everything above except outer packaging ₹247.68

Read the last two rows together. The three finishing lines that do have a price — two stickers and an amortised bench — come to ₹3.77, or 1.52% of the priced total. Any maker who says accessories are killing their margin is usually wrong about which accessory. The line capable of hurting you is the one with no number in it: the box, the tissue, the crinkle filler and the tape. Those are physically the largest things you buy, and they are the only part of this stack you cannot cost from this page.

The lid is already in the jar price — check before you add a row. On the CSI range the lid is not a separate accessory. Amber Shiny Glass Jar with Black Lid is ₹236.00 per pack of 5 — ₹47.20 a unit, lid included. Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g) is ₹944.00 per 10, or ₹94.40, lid included. And a lid is not automatically the premium option: the unlidded White Matte Glass Jar is ₹354.00 per pack of 5, ₹70.80 each — ₹23.60 more than a shiny jar that ships with a lid on it. Choose the vessel on how it photographs and how it fills, then read whether the lid is in or out of that number. Do not budget a lid twice.

There is a second reason the finishing rows deserve their own block in the sheet, and it is not about rupees. Wax, oil, jar and wick decide whether the candle works. The stickers decide whether the customer thinks it works — and, for the care sticker, whether they blame you when it does not.

The ₹0.83 sticker that prevents most of your complaints

A candle brand receives a predictable set of messages. It tunnels. It smokes and marks the glass. It stopped smelling after twenty minutes. It does not fill the room. Almost all of them describe a candle that is working correctly and a customer who was never told how to burn it. The intervention that addresses every one is a printed label on the base of the jar, and at CSI it costs ₹0.83.

Candle Care Stickers Roll
Two sizes on one listing, and they are priced differently per unit because they are different stickers, not because one is a volume discount on the other. The 1 inch roll of 500 is ₹413.00 (₹0.83 each); the 1.5 inch roll of 1,000 is ₹699.00 (₹0.70 each). The larger label is the one to buy if you want four lines of legible text rather than two, and it happens to be the cheaper unit as well — one of the few places in the accessory range where the better product is also the better rate.
Variant Price Per sticker Covers, at 100/month
Pack of 500 · 1 inch ₹413.00 ₹0.83 5 months
Pack of 1,000 · 1.5 inch ₹699.00 ₹0.70 10 months
₹0.13 per candle saved on the 1,000 roll — ₹1,560 a year at 1,000 candles a month Buy the care roll

What goes on it matters more than the sticker does. Four instructions, in this order. None require you to make a better candle; they require you to describe the one you already made.

1
Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burnAn untrimmed wick mushrooms, soots and blackens the inside of the glass, and the customer reads that as a cheap candle. Five millimetres burns clean and still lights. This one line prevents the "your candle smokes" message almost entirely. Keep a wick trimmer at ₹177 on your own bench for test burns so you can photograph the difference.
2
On the first burn, let the melt pool reach the edge of the glassSoy wax has a memory. A first burn stopped after forty minutes with a two-centimetre pool leaves the candle burning down that narrow column and a rim of unused wax against the glass for the rest of its life. Ask for two to three hours. This prevents tunnelling, the complaint most likely to end in a refund, and it protects throw, because pool area is release area.
3
State the room size this candle is built forA single-wick 200 g candle is sized for a bedroom or a bathroom. Lit in a 400 sq ft open-plan room it is not a weak candle, it is a small one, and the customer has no way of knowing that unless you say so. "Best in rooms up to 150 sq ft; use two in larger spaces" turns a complaint into a second sale. It is the only line on the sticker that makes money directly.
4
Warn them about their own noseOlfactory adaptation sets in within roughly fifteen to twenty minutes: the person sitting in the room stops registering a scent a visitor smells on opening the door. Without that sentence, "it stopped smelling after twenty minutes" is a product fault. With it, it is a known effect the brand flagged in advance, which reads as expertise rather than excuse.
Run the arithmetic on this once
At 1,000 candles a month the care roll costs ₹700 a month at the ₹0.70 rate. One refunded 200 g candle plus return shipping costs more than that month's entire sticker budget, whatever your retail price is. You do not need the sticker to prevent many complaints to be ahead — you need it to prevent about one. Everything after the first is margin you keep.

The CSI accessory range, with the per-unit numbers

The Candle Accessories collection holds 65 products. What follows is the part a container-candle business actually touches, priced from the September 2026 export with per-unit figures worked out. Where a product was out of stock on that pull date it says so, and where a product carries no usable price in the export it says that too.

Candle Wick Stickers & Large Wick Stickers
A wick sticker is a double-sided high-temperature pad that holds the wick tab flat on the base of the jar while you pour. Without one the tab lifts, the wick drifts off centre as the wax sets, and you get an off-axis burn that no amount of wick-holder discipline at the top will correct. It is the cheapest insurance in the process and it is consumed on every single unit. Note the stock position honestly: the 100-sticker sheet at ₹236.00 — the better per-unit rate at ₹2.36 — was out of stock on the September 2026 pull, so at the moment the sheet of 40 is the buy.
Variant Price Per sticker Stock, Sept 2026
Sheet of 40 ₹100.00 ₹2.50 In stock
Sheet of 100 ₹236.00 ₹2.36 Out of stock
Large stickers, 40 × 2 mm ₹249.00 ₹6.23 In stock
₹2.50 per candle on the standard sheet · the large sticker is 2.5× that and only earns it on wide tabs Buy wick stickers

The large sticker at ₹6.23 is a specific tool, not an upgrade. Buy it for genuinely wide tabs — heavy wooden-wick bases, large-diameter cotton tabs — or a jar base with a concavity a small pad cannot bridge. On an ordinary 70 mm jar with a standard tab it does the same job as the ₹2.50 sticker for ₹3.73 more, which across 12,000 candles a year is ₹44,760 spent on nothing.

Reusable accessories · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Bought once, used for years — the per-unit figure is what matters, not the pack price
Accessory Pack Price Per unit What it is for
Wick Centering Device Pack of 5 ₹118.00 ₹23.60 Sits across the jar mouth and holds the wick on axis while the wax sets. The default for round containers
Bamboo Wick Holder Set of 5 ₹118.00 ₹23.60 Two-piece bamboo clamp. Grips without squeezing the wick flat, which matters on flat braided wicks
Steel Wick Holder 5 / 10 / 25 ₹250 / ₹500 / ₹1,250 ₹50.00 flat Steel version, no rate improvement at any pack size. Buy on durability, not on volume
Bamboo Stirring Sticks 5 / 50 / 100 ₹118 / ₹1,062 / ₹1,888 ₹23.60 / ₹21.24 / ₹18.88 Stirring dye and fragrance into the melt. A genuine 20% rate improvement at 100 — see the caveat below
Wick Inserter, Steel Straw Single ₹59.00 ₹59.00 Threads a wick down a narrow neck or a mould channel. The cheapest thing on this table
Wick Setting Tool Single ₹399.00 ₹399.00 Presses a tabbed wick down onto the jar base cleanly. Useful at scale, redundant with a sticker and a steady hand
Premium Candle Wicking Needle Single ₹472.00 ₹472.00 Pulls a wick through a mould without tearing the silicone. A mould tool, not a jar tool
Candle Wick Trimmer (alt listing) Single ₹177.00 ₹177.00 Bench trimmer for your own test burns. This is the one to buy
Candle Wick Cutter / Trimmer Single ₹295.00 ₹295.00 The mid listing. Same function
Candle Wick Trimmer Single ₹588.82 ₹588.82 The premium listing. Buy it to retail alongside a gift set, not to keep on a bench
Two honesty notes on this table. First, a fourth holder listing on the store is titled simply Wick Holder. It is out of stock and carries no price in the September 2026 export, so no figure for it appears here and you should not plan around it — use the centering device or the bamboo holder. Second, an accessory bench commonly also holds wax scrapers, silicone spatulas and isopropyl spray for cleaning jars. Those are real working items and the 65-product Candle Accessories collection is where to look, but none of them appear with a price in the export this page was written from. Rather than estimate, this guide leaves them out of every total.
Where equipment stops and accessories start: everything above is a small part that touches one candle or one pour. Melters, pouring pitchers, thermometers, scales, heat guns and mixers are a different budget with a different payback period, and they are covered in full on the candle making tools supplier guide. If you are pricing a first setup, read that page for the machines and this one for the parts.

Packaging is part of the finish, not a separate department

The customer's experience starts before the lid comes off. A jar rattling loose in an oversized carton reads as cheap even when the candle is excellent, and a jar that arrives cracked reads as worse. Packaging is the last accessory in the chain and the most visible one — Ashwini's review of the White Matte Glass Jar above is as much about goods arriving packed properly as about the goods themselves.

The Packaging Materials collection holds 10 products, covering corrugated boxes, air bubble roll, crinkle paper filler, tissue paper, craft paper tape and custom thank-you cards. Those are the six items that turn a finished candle into a shippable parcel, and between them they typically weigh and bulk more than the candle does.

Stated plainly, because it matters
None of those six packaging items carry a price in the CSI pricing export this article was written from. That is a gap in the data available to this page, not a claim that they are expensive or cheap. This guide therefore quotes no packaging figure anywhere, shows the packaging line as an open bar in the diagram above, and excludes it from the ₹247.68 total. Get the current numbers from the collection page or on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926, and add them to your sheet before you quote a wholesale price to a corporate or hamper buyer.

What can be said without a price is the specification. Corrugated box: size it to the jar plus about 25 mm of filler on every face, and buy one box size per jar size — an oversized box costs more in volumetric shipping weight than the box itself. Air bubble roll: one full wrap round the glass, taped. Crinkle filler: it fills void space, which is what actually stops movement. Tissue paper: the cheapest way to make an inexpensive jar feel considered. Craft paper tape: takes print, so it is free branding. Thank-you card: the only piece of packaging that can carry a repeat-purchase code.

Sunita Gupta's review above is of the Tin Containers 85 g and 135 g — ₹849.60 per pack of 12 at 85 g (₹70.80 each) and ₹1,161.12 per 12 at 135 g (₹96.76). Tins ship better than glass, which changes your packaging spend and not only your vessel spend. On long routes the saving on bubble roll and breakage belongs in the comparison against a glass jar at ₹47.20 to ₹94.40. The full range is in the Containers for Candle Making collection, 80 products deep.

The CSI principle
Accessories do not decide whether the candle burns. They decide whether the customer believes it was made by a business.
A centred wick, a clean rim, a label that tells you how to burn it and a box that arrives intact are what separate a ₹3.33-per-candle finish from a candle that is technically identical and reads as homemade. That is the entire return on this budget, and it is why the line belongs in the costing sheet rather than in petty cash.
Planning a festive run? Working back from Diwali on 8 November 2026, accessories and packaging need to be on the shelf before the pour starts, not after — a batch of cured candles waiting on a box is a batch that misses the window. What to buy at 100, 500 and 1,000 candles a month

Accessory buying is two problems and most makers solve only one. The consumables are a cash-flow question — how often you reorder, at what rate. The reusables are a batch-size question — how many wicks stand in wax at the same moment, which has nothing to do with monthly volume and everything to do with how many jars are on the table in one pour. Getting the second one wrong is why makers buy one pack of five centering devices and then pour thirty jars.

The reusable row is the one worth sitting with. If you pour five jars at a time you need five holders; if you pour fifty, fifty — and a business doing 500 a month pours in batches of forty or more. Fifty bamboo wick holders at ₹23.60 is ₹1,180; fifty steel holders at ₹50 is ₹2,500. Steel lasts indefinitely and does not stain; bamboo is half the price and, as Lalitha Jagan's review above notes, does not press down on the wick. On flat braided wicks that matters. Most production benches end up with both, sorted by jar diameter.

Bamboo Wick Holder ₹23.60 (5) Single pack size None offered No break exists
Trimmers, needles, setting tools Single units only None offered You need one, ever. There is nothing to bulk

That table is the honest answer to "candle making accessories wholesale". Two products in the range reward quantity buying, and one of those two you probably should not buy at quantity. Everything else is flat-rated, so the wholesale conversation here is not really about published pack breaks — it is about consolidating one shipment that carries the wax, the jars, the wicks and the accessories together. That is a freight and cash-flow saving rather than a unit-price saving, and it is a real one: the case is set out in buying everything from one supplier, and the ordering discipline past these volumes is in scaling to 1,000 orders a month.

The accessories most makers do not need

We sell all of these. Most container-candle businesses should buy about half of them, and this is the half.

The accessory aisle is where a starter budget quietly disappears: every item is individually cheap enough to justify and collectively expensive enough to matter. Here is what a maker pouring glass and tin containers can leave on the shelf, with the numbers attached.

1
Premium Candle Wicking Needle — ₹472, unless you pour mouldsA genuinely good tool, and the reviews above say why: LJ notes it threads the wick without damaging the mould and without wax leaking round the channel while you pour. Every word of that describes silicone mould work. On an open-topped jar there is no channel to thread and nothing to protect, so the needle sits in a drawer. Buy it the day you start a pillar or taper line — see the mould collection, 62 products.
2
Wick Setting Tool — ₹399, when a ₹2.50 sticker already does itThe setting tool presses a tabbed wick flat onto the base of a deep jar. A wick sticker plus a wooden stirrer to press it down achieves the same seating using something you already own. The tool earns itself back on deep, narrow vessels where your fingers genuinely cannot reach the base, and nowhere else. Test whether your hand fits before you spend ₹399.
3
The ₹588.82 trimmer, when the ₹177 listing existsThere are three trimmer listings at ₹177.00, ₹295.00 and ₹588.82. They cut a wick to 5 mm. Your bench needs one, for test burns, and the cheapest does that job. The expensive one is a retail object — sell it on inside a gift set, where the customer is paying for the weight and the finish. That is ₹411.82 of bench vanity avoided.
4
Large wick stickers at ₹6.23, on a normal tab₹6.23 against ₹2.50 is ₹3.73 a candle, more than the entire rest of your finishing budget. Buy them for wide wooden-wick bases and concave jar bottoms. Not because they sound better.
5
A hundred bamboo stirring sticks at 100 candles a monthThe 20% rate improvement at ₹18.88 is real, and it is also ₹1,888 of stirring sticks. A pack of five at ₹118 sees out a year of small-batch pouring, and the ₹1,770 difference buys roughly 4 kg of Eco Soy CSI 400 instead. Take the 100-pack when you are pouring daily and washing sticks between colours, not before.
The total of that advice. A container-only maker who skips the wicking needle (₹472), the setting tool (₹399) and the premium trimmer (₹588.82) keeps ₹1,459.82 in the business on day one, and loses nothing they will notice. Spent instead on wax at ₹399 per kilogram for Eco Soy CSI 400, that is more than three and a half kilograms — roughly nineteen more 200 g candles to sell. The honest working bench is the centering devices, the bamboo holders, the stirring sticks and one trimmer: ₹531 all in.
Nobody has ever returned a candle because the wick holder was bamboo instead of steel. They return it because nobody told them to trim the wick.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia

Put the two halves together and the accessory budget becomes plannable. ₹531 once for the bench. ₹3.33 a candle for the two consumables, or ₹3.20 on the larger care roll. A packaging figure you must go and get, because this page will not invent one. Against roughly ₹244 of wax, fragrance, jar and wick, the finishing lines are small — but they decide whether a customer photographs the parcel or complains about the burn, and they are the easiest lines to leave out of a price you have already quoted. Cost them once, then price the candle: how to price candles in India in 2026, and is candle making actually profitable in India in 2026.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA sells every accessory named on this page, and this page tells you to skip three of them. The commercially convenient version of an accessories guide ticks every box. That version costs a new maker ₹1,459.82 in tooling they will not use on a jar, and a maker who wastes their first budget does not place a second order. We would rather sell the ₹531 bench and keep you.

Every figure here is taken from CSI live pricing in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. Where the export carried no usable price — the fourth wick holder listing, scrapers and spatulas, isopropyl spray, and every item in the Packaging Materials collection — this page states that plainly and quotes nothing, rather than estimating. Out-of-stock variants are marked as out of stock, including the 100-sticker wick sheet whose better per-unit rate is currently unavailable.

Collection counts are as recorded on the same pull: 65 products in Candle Accessories, 10 in Packaging Materials, 80 in Containers for Candle Making, 62 in Candle Moulds. Frequently asked questions

What are the essential candle making accessories for a small business in India?
Four reusables and two consumables. The reusables are wick centering devices at ₹118 per pack of 5, a bamboo wick holder set at ₹118, bamboo stirring sticks at ₹118 per pack of 5 and a wick trimmer at ₹177 — ₹531 in total, bought once. The consumables are a wick sticker at ₹2.50 and a care sticker at ₹0.83 on every candle you sell.
How much do candle accessories add to the cost of one candle?
₹3.33 per candle in consumables at the standard rates, or ₹3.20 if you buy the 1,000-sticker care roll. Adding the ₹531 bench amortised over a first year at 100 candles a month takes it to ₹3.77. On a 200 g soy candle whose wax, fragrance, jar and wick come to about ₹243.91, that is roughly 1.5% of materials. Outer packaging is additional and is not priced in the September 2026 export this page was written from.
Do candle wick stickers get cheaper in bulk?
In principle yes, in practice not right now. The sheet of 40 is ₹100.00 (₹2.50 each) and the sheet of 100 is ₹236.00 (₹2.36 each), a 5.6% improvement — but the 100-sticker sheet was out of stock on the September 2026 pull, so the ₹2.50 rate is what you can actually buy. If you are consuming twenty-five sheets a month, that is the line to raise on WhatsApp rather than to assume.
Which candle accessory is worth the most for the least money?
The Candle Care Stickers Roll at ₹0.83, falling to ₹0.70 on the roll of 1,000. Four lines of text — trim to 5 mm, burn the first pool to the edge of the glass, the room size the candle is built for, and a note that the nose adapts within fifteen to twenty minutes — address tunnelling, sooting, "it does not fill the room" and "it stopped smelling". Those four are most of the complaints a candle brand receives.
How many wick holders do I need?
As many as the largest number of jars you pour at one time — not a number derived from monthly output. A five-jar pour needs one pack of five at ₹118; a forty-jar pour needs forty. Steel holders are a flat ₹50 per unit whether you buy 5, 10 or 25, so there is no saving in over-ordering them. Bamboo holders at ₹23.60 are less than half the price and do not press the wick flat.
What does candle packaging cost, and why is there no figure on this page?
Corrugated boxes, air bubble roll, crinkle paper filler, tissue paper, craft paper tape and custom thank-you cards are in the Packaging Materials collection, which holds 10 products. None of them carried a price in the pricing export this article was written from, so rather than estimate, this guide quotes no packaging number at all and excludes packaging from every total. Get the current figures from the collection page or on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 before you quote a wholesale or hamper price.
Finish the candle properly
₹531 for the bench. ₹3.33 a candle for the finish. One sticker that prevents most of your complaints.
Candle Care Stickers Roll from ₹413 per 500, Candle Wick Stickers ₹100 per 40, wick centering devices and bamboo wick holders at ₹118 per 5, bamboo stirring sticks from ₹18.88 each, and 65 products in the Candle Accessories collection.
