43 premium jars and one awkward remainder
A 250 g candle is usually the step up in a range: the size you add once the 200 g jar sells, priced higher and packed more carefully. Makers searching this number are typically deciding whether a 10 kg bag is a sensible unit for a new premium line.
43 does not pack neatly
43 is a prime number, which matters more than it sounds. Pack in cartons of six and you get seven full cartons and one loose candle. In fours, ten cartons and three over. Plan the order count around the carton, not the bag, and accept that one or two premium jars per bag become samples or seconds.
Use the 110 g
After 43 candles at 230 g of wax each, 10 kg leaves 110 g, the largest remainder of any size in the table. That is enough for one 100 g tester tin, which needs 92 g of wax, with 18 g to spare. Pour it in the same scent and keep it as the retained sample for that bag.
Where 250 g plans slip: The remainder is scraped out and discarded on the first bag, and on the next the allowance is eaten by residue. Keep a tester tin from every bag; it costs no extra wax and tells you later whether a batch drifted.
The cost and the wick

Premium means packaging in heat
Premium jars often travel in rigid, closed boxes. Between April and June, a sealed box in a courier van can get very hot; soy is a natural vegetable wax and softens if it gets warm enough, and a well-scented candle can sweat. Pack with a little air space, and ask buyers not to leave parcels in the sun.
