Silicone Candle Moulds Wholesale Supplier in India

Is there a wholesale pack? No mould is listed as a multi-pack. Each is sold as one mould, so ten cost ten times the listed price. For larger or repeat quantities, ask on WhatsApp.
What wax goes in them? For candles that leave the mould, Soy Pillar Wax at a flat ₹600/kg — the CSI soy wax made to be poured into a mould. Container soy waxes are made for jars.
What else do I need? Candle Mold Sealer (80 pieces, ₹472) for the wick hole, and a wicking needle (₹472) where a mould has no pre-cut hole.
The silicone range, by mould type
CSI's Candle Moulds collection holds 62 listings. Most are silicone; a handful of pillar moulds are acrylic or polycarbonate, which behave differently and are covered in the bulk moulds guide. For a candle business, the silicone moulds fall into five practical groups. The group decides how many pieces one pour gives you, how much wax each piece takes, and what price the finished piece can carry — which is why comparing a tray with a bubble mould on price alone tells you nothing.
| Mould type | Examples at CSI | Price band | What the pages state | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Multi-cavity trays (15–55 cavities) | Mini Heart ₹153.40 · 15 Cavity Rose ₹153.40 · 40 Cavity Square ₹472 · Cloud (30) ₹529.82 | ₹153.40–₹529.82 | Cavity count in the title; heat ratings on some (Mini Heart −40 to 230°C, 40 Cavity Square −40 to 220°C) | Wax melts, embeds, small decorative pieces |
| Small-batch moulds (4–8 cavities) | Mini Daisy (4) ₹293.82 · Modak (8) ₹580 · Wax Sachet (6) ₹588.82 · 7 Different Flower ₹885 | ₹293.82–₹885 | 7 Different Flower: 3.1 × 3.3 cm cavities, 3 cm deep; Modak: 19 × 9.7 × 3 cm mould | Festive shapes, sachets, gift-box fillers |
| Single designer moulds | Daisy Flower ₹199 · Ladoo ₹472 · Peony Big ₹531 · Big Rose ₹590 · Premium Rose Cube ₹706.82 · Tulip Bouquet ₹749 | ₹199–₹1,060.82 | Sizes on many (Big Rose 8.3 × 8.3 × 4.2 cm; Tulip candle 6.4 × 5.6 × 9.8 cm); capacity only on Peony Big (101 ml) | Gift, hamper and wedding-favour candles |
| Silicone pillar-style and sculptural | Twisted Wave Medium ₹742 · Beach Theme Pillar ₹826 · Big Bubble XL ₹2,124 | ₹742–₹2,124 | Beach Theme and Big Bubble state size and −40 to +230°C; Twisted Wave states a finished candle of approx. 140 × 49 mm and approx. 195 g | Statement pillars, centrepieces, premium singles |
| Trays and coasters | Bubble Edge Round Tray · Heart Coaster · Cloud Trinket Tray | ₹588.82 each | Round tray 12 cm diameter, 2 cm deep; Cloud tray 17.1 × 12.3 cm | Candle trays and holders to sell alongside candles |
Two patterns matter. The price per cavity collapses as cavity count rises: ₹2.79 on the Mini Heart, ₹11.80 on the 40 Cavity Square, ₹72.50 on the Modak, ₹126.43 on the 7 Different Flower. And the information on the page varies more than the price: some pages give a finished size, a heat rating and a wick-hole warning; others are general-purpose silicone descriptions written for chocolate, resin or soap. Treat the second kind as a mould that needs one extra test pour before it enters a production plan.
What to check before buying moulds wholesale — from any supplier
Buying moulds is closer to buying equipment than raw material: you pay once, and the mould either earns its price back over many pours or sits in a drawer. These seven checks decide which. The right-hand column shows what CSI's own pages state — including where they fall short.
| Check | Why it matters at volume | What CSI's pages show |
|---|---|---|
| Finished size, weight or capacity | Wax cost, wick choice and packaging all follow from it | Stated on many — Big Bubble 9.3 × 9.2 cm, Rose Cube candle 6.3 × 6.3 × 5.5 cm, Peony Big 101 ml, Twisted Wave approx. 195 g. Some pages refer you to the images instead |
| Cavity count | Sets pieces per pour, and therefore daily output | In the title for trays (15, 30, 40, 55); Mini Daisy states four cavities "in varying sizes", so its pieces are not identical |
| Heat rating | The rating must clear your pour temperature with room to spare | −40 to 220°C or −40 to 230°C on several silicone moulds; many pages state no rating — pour one test before relying on them |
| Wick hole | Decides whether you need a needle and sealer on every pour | The Big Bubble page warns it may not have a pre-cut wick hole; the Ramen Noodles page tells you to make one with a needle |
| Material matches the title | Silicone flexes to release; rigid moulds do not, and demould differently | The Polycarbonate Pillar Candle Mould page also describes a glass casing — confirm on WhatsApp before ordering several |
| Can you buy it again? | A bestselling shape you cannot reorder stops a product line | When checked in September 2026, eight mould listings and two size variants were sold out — so buy a spare of any shape your line depends on |
| Written for candles, or for everything? | General food, resin or soap copy rarely tells you candle specifics | Several pages are general-purpose silicone descriptions. Fine for wax — but the candle numbers come from your test, not the page |
None of these checks needs a laboratory. A scale, a thermometer and one test pour answer six of the seven. The seventh — whether you can reorder — is a question for the supplier before your line depends on the shape, and it is exactly what the CSI WhatsApp line is for.
Four silicone moulds worth stocking
One card per working type: a statement single, a gifting single, a silicone pillar and a high-output tray. Each table shows every listed size, what the page states and the price per cavity — for one mould, since there is no pack ladder.

Output per mould, and what it costs per piece
Silicone mould output is simple arithmetic: pieces per pour = cavities, and pours per day depend on how long your wax takes to set hard enough to release cleanly. No CSI mould page states a set time or a pour-life, and neither should any honest supplier, because both depend on your wax, your room temperature and how you handle the mould. So the table below uses two planning assumptions you should replace with your own numbers: one pour per mould per day, six days a week, and a mould cost spread over 25 full pours purely as an arithmetic example — not a stated or expected lifespan.
| Mould | Price | Pieces per pour | Pieces per week (1 pour/day × 6) | Pieces over 25 pours | Mould cost per piece |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini Heart | ₹153.40 | 55 | 330 | 1,375 | ₹0.11 |
| 40 Cavity Square | ₹472 | 40 | 240 | 1,000 | ₹0.47 |
| Cloud Mould | ₹529.82 | 30 | 180 | 750 | ₹0.71 |
| 8-Cavity Modak | ₹580 | 8 | 48 | 200 | ₹2.90 |
| Wax Sachet Mould | ₹588.82 | 6 | 36 | 150 | ₹3.93 |
| Premium Rose Cube | ₹706.82 | 1 | 6 | 25 | ₹28.27 |
| Twisted Wave (Medium) | ₹742 | 1 | 6 | 25 | ₹29.68 |
| Big Bubble XL | ₹2,124 | 1 | 6 | 25 | ₹84.96 |
The table makes one commercial point very clearly. On a tray, the mould is almost free per piece within a few pours — under a rupee for hearts, squares and clouds — so the business question is wax, colour, fragrance and packaging. On a single designer mould, the mould stays a visible line in the cost of every candle for weeks, and output is capped at one candle per mould per pour. Making 30 rose cubes a day on a one-pour-a-day rhythm means owning 30 Premium Rose Cube moulds: ₹21,204.60 before a gram of wax. That is not a reason to avoid single moulds — a rose cube carries a gift price a cloud never will — but it is a reason to prove the design sells first. Daily output targets and duplicate planning are worked through in buying candle moulds in bulk.
Wax, sealer and wicks for silicone moulds
A moulded candle has to release, hold its shape out of the mould and burn without a jar around it. Container soy waxes are formulated to cling to glass — CSI 464 and CSI 468 are stated for single-pour container use — which is the opposite of what a mould needs. For moulded candles, CSI lists one purpose-made soy wax, and two other waxes whose pages name pillars among their uses.
| Wax | Listed price | What the page says about moulds | Wax in a 100 g piece (92 g) | Wax in a 195 g piece (179.4 g) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Soy Pillar Wax | ₹600/kg flat · 500 g ₹300 to 10 kg ₹6,000 | "pour into your chosen pillar candle mold"; suits "a wide range of pillar candle mold shapes and sizes" | ₹55.20 | ₹107.64 |
| Soy Pillar Wax + 8% microcrystalline | Micro 500 g ₹149 · 1 kg ₹299 | Micro page states 8–10% "for detailed/sculptural work", 3–7% for pillars | ₹52.98 | ₹103.32 |
| Beeswax Pellets (Yellow) | ₹800/kg flat · 1 kg to 10 kg | "Ideal for container candles, votives, pillars, and tealights" | ₹73.60 | ₹143.52 |
| Fully Refined Paraffin | ₹354/kg · 500 g and 1 kg only | "from traditional pillars to elegant container candles" | ₹32.57 | ₹63.51 |
Soy Pillar Wax is the default for a soy moulded range, and its flat ₹600 per kilo means a 500 g test bag costs no more per piece than a 10 kg production bag. Its page states no fragrance load, melt or pour temperature, so the first pour into any new mould doubles as a recipe test. For intricate moulds — petals, spirals, the ridges of a ramen bowl — the microcrystalline page's stated 8–10% for detailed or sculptural work is worth a side-by-side pour; at 8% of the wax it slightly lowers the wax cost of a 195 g piece (₹103.32 against ₹107.64) because microcrystalline lists at ₹299 a kilo. The wider pillar-wax comparison, including Vybar at its stated rates, is in the pillar candle wax bulk guide.
Sealer. Candle Mold Sealer is described as a reusable substance that forms a watertight seal around the wick hole and any seams, so melted wax does not escape. The page states 80 pieces per pack; at the listed ₹472 that is ₹5.90 a piece. On a silicone mould, the leak point is almost always where the wick passes through the base, so one piece per wick hole per pour is a reasonable planning figure until you see how many pours a piece survives.
Wick holes. Where a mould has no pre-cut hole, the Premium Candle Wicking Needle (₹472) is the tool; one CSI customer writes that it "doesn't damage the mould and there is no leakage of wax while pouring". Make the hole once, in the centre, and reuse it — every new puncture is a new place for silicone to tear.
Wicks. Only two CSI wick pages state a size. Cotton Braided Wicks Ready Made (₹12 each, 10.16 cm tall) are written for candles "exceeding 8 cm" in diameter — relevant to the Big Bubble. Eco Candle Wicks Loose (5 m ₹413, 10 m ₹708) are "designed specifically for 2 inch diameters" — relevant to the 49 mm Twisted Wave. If you allow 20 cm of wick per 14 cm candle to thread the mould and tie off (a planning assumption), 5 m cuts 25 wicks at ₹16.52 each. For every other shape, no page states a wick: burn-test.
Care that keeps a mould pouring
Because no mould page states a pour-life, the life you get is mostly the life you give it. The care lines CSI's own pages do state are consistent: hand washing is recommended (40 Cavity Square), clean with hot water before each use (55 Cavity Coffee Bean), wash with soapy water, dry and store in a cool place (Teddy Bear), store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and dust (Big Rose), and keep away from open flames and heat sources (Beach Theme Pillar). The routine below turns those into a per-pour habit.
Ordering moulds in quantity
Every CSI candle mould is listed as a single unit — there is no "pack of 10" variant to compare, and no listed quantity price. That makes the arithmetic honest and simple: n moulds cost n × the listed price. Ten Premium Rose Cubes are ₹7,068.20; four Twisted Wave Mediums are ₹2,968; three Big Bubble XLs are ₹6,372. If you are ordering well beyond that, or want the same shapes every month, send the list on WhatsApp for a quote, availability and a GST invoice — we will not guess here what that quote will be.
For a first moulded range, a sensible basket covers one high-output tray, two gifting singles, two silicone pillars and one statement mould, with the wax, sealer, needle and wicks to test all of them. It is sized to prove six shapes — not to supply a festive season.
| Item | Quantity | Cost | Why it's in the basket |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud Mould (30 Cavity) | 1 | ₹529.82 | High-output tray for melts and sets |
| Premium Rose Cube Mould | 2 | ₹1,413.64 | Gifting single with a stated finished size |
| Twisted Wave Mould · Medium | 2 | ₹1,484 | Silicone pillar; confirm finished weight on the first pour |
| Big Bubble XL | 1 | ₹2,124 | Statement candle; page warns it may lack a wick hole |
| Moulds subtotal | 6 | ₹5,551.46 | Paid once |
| Soy Pillar Wax | 5 kg | ₹3,000 | About 27 pieces of 195 g at 8%, or 54 of 100 g |
| Candle Mold Sealer | 80 pieces | ₹472 | ₹5.90 per wick hole |
| Premium Candle Wicking Needle | 1 | ₹472 | For moulds without a pre-cut hole |
| Eco Candle Wicks Loose | 5 m | ₹413 | Stated for 2 inch diameters — the Twisted Wave |
| Cotton Braided Wicks Ready Made | Pack of 10 | ₹120 | Stated for candles exceeding 8 cm — the Big Bubble |
| Basket total | ₹10,028.46 | Before fragrance and colour |
Look at where the money sits: ₹5,551.46 of the ₹10,028.46 is moulds, and those moulds will still be there for the next 10 kg of wax. Once a shape has sold through its test batch, duplicates are the lever that raises output — and the bulk moulds guide shows how many to buy for a daily target. The wax side scales separately: Soy Pillar Wax stays ₹600 a kilo from 500 g to 10 kg, so there is no listed penalty for buying wax in step with sales.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials and tools, not finished candles. We sell every mould on this page, and the easy advice would be "buy the full set". We are telling you to buy one of each shape, weigh the piece, burn it and only then buy duplicates — because moulds bought ahead of a tested recipe become stock you cannot use, and a maker with a drawer of unused moulds stops reordering wax.
Every price, size and heat rating here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current price and specification always take precedence. Where a mould page states a size, capacity, weight or temperature range we quote it; where it states none — including pour-life, set time and wick size for most moulds — we say so rather than fill the gap.
