Fragrance Oil Supplier for Candle Businesses in Dehradun
Aktie
How much cover does a rung buy? At 150 g candles and an 8% load, a 500 g bottle is 41 candles and a 1 kg bottle is 83. For a scent selling 60 candles a month that is 3.0 weeks and 6.0 weeks of cover respectively — which is the number that should set your reorder point.
Is there a minimum order or a trade account? No. CSI publishes no MOQ, no trade account, no credit terms and no volume-discount table, and we will not imply one exists. The listed rung price is the price; anything above 1 kg of one scent is quoted on WhatsApp.
What paperwork can a business get? GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation on request through the bulk line. None of it is published on the listing — no page carries a certificate number, an amendment number or a category number — so ask by listing name.
The 49 complete ladders
A hobbyist and a business are looking at the same product page and reading two different things. The hobbyist reads the notes. The business reads the variant selector, because that list of sizes is the only part of the page that describes whether this scent can be a product line rather than an experiment. A listing that sells 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, all in stock, supports a whole product lifecycle. A listing with three rungs makes you jump from a ₹799 test to an ₹8,000 commitment.
Here is the whole range counted that way, today. The columns that matter to a business are the last two.
| Live rungs of the five | Listings | What it supports | Reorder risk for a business |
|---|---|---|---|
| All five — 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg | 49 | Sample, test batch, season supply and commitment, all in one listing | Lowest. Build core lines here |
| Four | 11 | Almost everything, but one stage will force a bigger jump than you planned | Low. Note which rung is missing before you build a costing |
| Three | 27 | Usually 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg — sample and commit, with no middle | Moderate. Plan the test batch around the 100 g rung |
| Two | 4 | A seasonal special at most | High. Do not put it on a repeat order |
| One | 5 | Sampling only | High. Treat as unavailable for production |
| None in stock | 11 | Nothing today | Total. Keep them on a watch list, not in a range |
Turning a rung into weeks of cover
Bottles are the wrong unit for an inventory decision. Weeks are the right one, because a reorder point is a date. The conversion is two divisions: grams in the rung ÷ grams per candle gives candles, and candles ÷ candles per week gives weeks. For a 150 g candle at an 8% load — 12 g of oil — the table below does that at three output levels.
| Rung | Candles it fills | At 30 candles a month | At 60 a month | At 120 a month | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 g | 1 | — | — | — | Smelling and shortlisting, nothing more |
| 50 g | 4 | 0.6 weeks | 0.3 weeks | 0.1 weeks | A first pour with one spare jar |
| 100 g | 8 | 1.2 weeks | 0.6 weeks | 0.3 weeks | A real test batch across two wick sizes |
| 500 g | 41 | 5.9 weeks | 3.0 weeks | 1.5 weeks | One retail account for a season, or a launch run |
| 1 kg | 83 | 12.0 weeks | 6.0 weeks | 3.0 weeks | A core scent between reorders |
The number to take from this table is not the cover figure itself but the gap between it and your cure. If a soy container candle needs one to two weeks of cure before it is fit to sell, then a rung holding three weeks of cover is a rung you must reorder the moment you open it. Six weeks of cover, on the other hand, gives you a real ordering window. That is the honest argument for the kilo rung on a core scent: not a lower price per gram — on most of this catalogue there isn't one — but a reorder cycle that fits around a cure.
Four ladders deep enough for a product line
All four are live at every one of the five rungs, so each supports the whole lifecycle from a ₹81 sample to a kilo. They are chosen from different scent families so that a shortlist built from them covers a range rather than a theme, and each card shows every rung with the price per kilo at that rung.

What to trust on a product page
A business plans from pages, so it is worth being explicit about which parts of a page are authoritative and which are not. This applies to any supplier's store, ours included, and it takes one habit to get right.
The variant selector is the price. Product descriptions across the range sometimes restate prices and sizes in their body text, and body text drifts while the variant list is live. If the two disagree, the variant is correct — and if you are quoting a customer from a screenshot of body copy, you are quoting from the wrong place. Add the sizes and prices you were shown at checkout to your purchase record, not the ones in the write-up.
Some listing titles carry old dispatch notes. A handful of titles in the range include a bracketed date from a previous restock — the kind that reads "Ships 12th July 2025" or "Deliveries starting 5th Dec". Those are historic labels, not a current delivery promise, and CSI does not publish delivery times anywhere. If a date in a title matters to your planning, ask on the bulk line rather than reading it as a commitment.
Two listings can share a name. There are two separate listings called Pomegranate Splash — one with four rungs, a ₹3,999 kilo and a stated 8–10% soy load, one with three rungs, a ₹3,843 kilo and a stated 7–10% candle load with a low-to-moderate discolouration note. There are also two Spicy Raspberry listings, of which one is fully out of stock at every size. Record the handle from the URL in your reorder file, not just the name, or you will eventually reorder a different oil with the same label.
The gaps, named before you find them
Every supplier has gaps. The useful difference between suppliers is whether you meet them in a table or in a production week. Here is the complete list for CSI's fragrance range as it stands, with what each one costs you and what to do instead.
| Gap | What it costs a business | What to do instead |
|---|---|---|
| No 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack — 1 kg is the largest on all 107 listings | Large runs become multiple bottles and multiple caps | Multiply kilos at the listed rate as your ceiling, then request a quote on WhatsApp for recurring volume |
| No published MOQ, trade account, credit terms or volume-discount table | No pre-set business pricing to plan against | Treat the listed rung price as the price. It is the same for everybody, which is its own kind of certainty |
| 11 listings with no size in stock, 17 more with the 1 kg unavailable | A scent you cannot promise a repeat customer | Score ladder depth before you design a range, and keep a tested second choice per family |
| No shelf life, expiry or storage instruction on any of the 107 pages | No published basis for how long to hold stock | Order against your production plan, keep bottles closed and dated, and do not invent a figure nobody published |
| Only 18 listings state a measured flash point; 32 give only a "> 93°C" threshold | Handling decisions have to come from elsewhere | Work from the wax page's stated add temperature, and request the SDS by listing name |
| No lab report, GC-MS, batch data, allergen list or CAS numbers anywhere in the range | Nothing to hand a corporate buyer who asks for analytics | Ask what documentation exists before you promise a client anything. We would rather say no than send a document that does not exist |
| No throw test, room-size rating or burn data on any page | Performance claims cannot be sourced from the supplier | Run a controlled burn test and cite your own results. Hot throw testing has a workable score sheet |
| No branch, distributor, stockist, counter or warehouse in Dehradun — and no published delivery times, couriers or shipping rates | No same-day top-up, and no local escalation route | Hold buffer stock, order for the cure rather than the deadline, and use the WhatsApp line as your account contact |
The reorder file, in six steps
This is the artefact that separates a candle business from a candle hobby, and it is one spreadsheet. Six steps to build it, once.
Running a candle business here without a local counter
Here is the honest position, stated once: CSI has no shop, dealer, stockist, counter or warehouse in Dehradun, and does not publish delivery times, courier names or shipping rates for anywhere in India. So the question is not "how fast can I get a top-up" but "how do I run a business that never needs one". That turns out to be a solvable problem, and the answers are habits rather than purchases.
Two features of the Doon valley's year make those habits more valuable than they would be in a big metro. The selling season is compressed and consecutive — Diwali on 8 November, then Christmas, New Year and the wedding weeks, all in the coldest months — so a stock-out in that window costs a quarter rather than a week. And the wet months that precede it are exactly when a maker should be building stock, which is also when cartons, labels and cool glass are least cooperative.
| What a local counter would give you | What it actually costs you not to have it | The habit that replaces it |
|---|---|---|
| A same-day top-up when a bottle runs out mid-run | A stalled batch in the busiest weeks of the year | Reorder at cure-time-plus-buffer, not at "nearly empty". A 1 kg rung on a core scent buys about 6 weeks at 60 candles a month |
| Smelling ten oils before choosing one | Choosing on description rather than on a cured candle | Buy the 15 g and 50 g rungs in one order, pour them all in the same batch, and score them properly. Samples from ₹81.42 |
| Someone to ask when a batch goes wrong | Guessing at a cause, and repeating the fault | Log room temperature, pour temperature, load and wick on every batch. In a cold workroom that log is usually the answer |
| A person who knows your order history | Re-explaining your spec every time you buy | Keep the reorder file and paste the handles into the WhatsApp message. It is faster than a counter conversation |
| Local stock to fall back on during a festive rush | No recovery option in the one window that matters | Build stock during the wet months so the cure is finished before Diwali, and keep labels and cartons off a damp floor |
One more Dehradun-specific note for a business rather than a hobbyist. Corporate, institutional and hospitality buyers in and around the valley tend to ask for two things a hobby maker never thinks about: a GST invoice and consistency of scent across repeat orders. The first is a message on the bulk line. The second is entirely decided by your reorder file — same handle, same rung, same operative load, same wax, same cure. Consistency is not a property of a supplier. It is a property of a record.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and has no branch, distributor, stockist, counter or warehouse in Dehradun. A page written to win a business account would have led with a promise about service. This one leads with a count of how many of our own listings a business can safely build on — 49 of 107 — and then lists eight things we do not publish or do not stock. That is the more useful page, and it is the one a buyer can verify from the collection listing in twenty minutes.
Every count, price and stated field here is live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Ladder depth is counted across the five sizes 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Stated fields are quoted only where the page states them: Chocolate Fudge 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts with a stated vanillin-driven yellowing note; Japanese Cherry Blossom 6–13% for candles with stated sub-bands and 10–18% for wax melts; Autumn 7–11% for candles and 9–13% for wax melts; Peach Melon Berry a note structure only, with no stated load, flash point or cure. Where a page states nothing, this guide says so. No fragrance listing in the range publishes a shelf life, a storage instruction, a lab or GC-MS result, an allergen declaration, a CAS number, a throw measurement or a room-size rating, and none is claimed here.
For quotes above 1 kg of one scent, GST invoicing, or SDS and IFRA documentation, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. Documentation is supplied on request rather than published on the listing, and we would rather tell you a document does not exist than send you something that looks official and is not.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me; three longer reviews are shortened with an ellipsis and otherwise unedited.
Figures verified September 2026: Ladder depth counted across the five sizes 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg over all 107 fragrance listings — 49 live at all five, 11 at four, 27 at three, 4 at two, 5 at one and 11 with no size in stock. 104 listings show a 1 kg size and 17 of those are currently unavailable at 1 kg; 87 kilos are buyable. Page-field counts across the 107 listings: 81 state at least one usage or fragrance-load percentage and 26 state none; 62 state a cure time; 62 state a vanillin or discolouration answer; 51 mention flash point but only 18 give a measured value and 32 give only the threshold "> 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)"; 2 mention an SDS; none states a shelf life, storage instruction, expiry, allergen declaration, CAS number, ISO or REACH certification, lab or GC-MS result, batch dataset, throw distance or room-size rating. Prices used — Chocolate Fudge 15 gm ₹93.22, 50 gm ₹198.24, 100 gm ₹396.48, 500 gm ₹1,982.40, 1000 gm ₹3,964.80; Peach Melon Berry 15 gm ₹81.42, 50 gm ₹223.02, 100 gm ₹417.72, 500 gm ₹2,088.60, 1 kg ₹4,177.20; Japanese Cherry Blossom 15 gm ₹104, 50 gm ₹270, 100 gm ₹500, 500 gm ₹2,500, 1 kg ₹4,842; Autumn 15 gm ₹94.40, 50 gm ₹271.40, 100 gm ₹542.80, 500 gm ₹2,714, 1 kg ₹5,428. Cover arithmetic: a 150 g candle at an 8% load is 138 g of wax and 12 g of oil, so candles per rung = grams ÷ 12 (1, 4, 8, 41 and 83); weeks = candles ÷ (monthly output ÷ 4.33), giving 12.0, 6.0 and 3.0 weeks for a kilo at 30, 60 and 120 candles a month and 5.9, 3.0 and 1.5 weeks for 500 g. At an 11% load a 150 g candle holds 16.5 g and a kilo fills 60 candles. Output levels are illustrations, not forecasts. Five kilos of Japanese Cherry Blossom at the listed rate is 5 × ₹4,842 = ₹24,210, which is a ceiling rather than a quote. Duplicate names verified: two listings use the Pomegranate Splash name — one with four rungs, a ₹3,999 kilo and a stated 8–10% soy load, one with three rungs, a ₹3,843 kilo and a stated 7–10% candle load with a low-to-moderate discolouration note — and two use the Spicy Raspberry name, of which one is out of stock at every size. Some listing titles carry historic bracketed dispatch dates; these are not current delivery statements and CSI publishes no delivery times, courier names or shipping rates. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Diwali 2026 is 8 November 2026. Seasonal and operational framing for the Doon valley describes general material behaviour and ordinary business practice; no customer count, market size, local stockist or delivery claim for Dehradun is made, because none is published. One kilogram is the largest fragrance pack listed. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
