Bubble candles · ten-day capacity
A thousand bubble candles in ten days is 132 good pours a day for eight days, with two days held back. Everything else on this page follows from that one line.
132 a day
pours per day over 8 pouring days to deliver 1,000 with a 5% allowance
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI sell bubble candle moulds? No. CSI does not list bubble moulds (checked October 2026). Source your own; CSI supplies Soy Pillar Wax, paraffin pellets, Eco wicks, oils and dyes.

How many bubble candles per day for 1,000 in ten days? Plan 1,050 pours over 8 pouring days, holding 2 days for final checks and packing. That is 1,050 ÷ 8 = 131.25, so 132 a day.

How many bubble moulds do I need? Daily pours ÷ your cycles per day. At 3 measured cycles a day, 132 ÷ 3 = 44 cavities, plus spares.

How much wax for 1,000 bubble candles? At a 110 g fill (your weighed figure), 1,050 pours need 115.5 kg of wax, bought as 12 × 10 kg of Soy Pillar Wax.
The short answer
Daily target: 1,050 pours over 8 days = 132 pours a day.
Cavities: 132 ÷ 3 measured cycles = 44, plus about 10% spares = 49.
Wax: 1,050 × 110 g = 115.5 kg; 14.52 kg melted each pouring day.

Straight answer
I Need to Produce 1,000 Bubble Candles in Ten Days — How Do I Calculate Mould Quantity, Wax Requirement and Daily Production Capacity?
Work from a daily target. Plan 1,050 pours (a 5% reject allowance, chosen as a starting point) over 8 pouring days, keeping 2 days for final checks and packing: 1,050 ÷ 8 = 132 pours a day. Your bubble moulds are your own, because CSI does not list them. Time one cycle in your room: if a bubble releases cleanly about 4 hours after pouring, including reset, a 12-hour pour window gives 3 cycles, so 132 ÷ 3 = 44 cavities, about 49 with spares. At a 110 g fill, you need 1,050 × 110 g = 115.5 kg of wax, 14.52 kg a day, which is two runs of a 10 kg melter.
One line: divide 1,050 pours by 8 days for the daily target, then size cavities, wax and melting to that number.
Soy Pillar Wax is soy made for pillar and designer mould candles, at ₹6,000.00 per 10 kg, the same per kg as the 1 kg test pack.

Turn ten days into a daily target

A ten-day order is really eight days of pouring and two days you must not spend.

Bubble candles, the cube of soft spheres that has become a gifting and wedding favourite, look simple but are slow to make well. Every sphere has a seam, every gap between spheres traps air, and every demould risks tearing a bubble. Before you think about moulds or wax, convert the deadline into a number you can check at the end of each day.

Start with the order of 1,000. Add an allowance for rejects; 5% is a starting point for a design you already know, so you plan 1,000 × 1.05 = 1,050 pours. If this is your first bubble run, use a larger allowance and adjust after day one. Then split the ten days. Hold the last 2 for final checks, trimming, packing and any re-pours, which leaves 8 pouring days. CSI's product pages state 48 to 72 hours for soy as the minimum before burn testing, so the final day's pours also need that time before you burn-test a sample from them.

1,050 ÷ 8 = 131.25. Round up to 132 pours a day. That is the number on the whiteboard. If day one ends at 118, you know immediately that you are 14 behind, rather than finding out on day nine.

Cavities from your measured cycle

First, the honest part. CSI does not list bubble moulds (checked October 2026). The moulds are yours to source. What matters here is how many cavities you need, and that depends on one figure only you can measure: the cycle, from pouring a cavity to having it empty, clean and wicked again.

Pour a test bubble in the room you will work in, at the time of day you will work. Suppose it releases cleanly after about 3.5 hours, and cleaning and re-wicking takes half an hour, so one cycle is 4 hours. With a 12-hour pour window, that gives 12 ÷ 4 = 3 cycles a day. Then 132 ÷ 3 = 44 cavities. Silicone bubble moulds have deep crevices that tear with use, so keep spares; 10% is a reasonable starting point, so 44 × 1.1 = 48.4, rounded up to 49.

Cavities by pour window
132 pours a day, 4-hour measured cycle
Pour window Cycles a day Working Cavities With 10% spares
8 hours 2 132 ÷ 2 66 73
12 hours 3 132 ÷ 3 44 49
16 hours, two shifts 4 132 ÷ 4 33 37

The table shows the real trade. Fewer moulds means longer days or a second person. More moulds means a shorter day but more spending and more cleaning. Whichever you choose, the cycles must be whole: a cycle that finishes after the shift ends does not count.

Bubbles tear on demould. The wax is still too warm, or the mould is too stiff for the shape. Leave it longer before demoulding, even if it costs a cycle, because a torn bubble is a reject and a torn mould is a lost cavity for the rest of the order.

Wax: the total, the daily melt and the packs

Bubble candles stand on their own and are handled a lot, so they need a free-standing wax. Test CSI Soy Pillar Wax, or Fully Refined Paraffin Wax Pellets if the client does not need soy. CSI publishes no melt point or hardness for Soy Pillar Wax, so the test bubble also tells you whether the spheres hold their shape in your conditions.

Weigh your own fill. Fill one cavity with water, weigh it and convert, or pour one in wax and weigh the finished bubble. Suppose it is 110 g. If the client wants unscented bubbles for décor, which many wedding orders do, the wax per pour is the full 110 g.

Wax and melt plan
1,050 unscented pours at 110 g (your weighed fill)
Measure Working Result
Total wax 1,050 × 110 g 115,500 g = 115.5 kg
Packs of Soy Pillar Wax 115.5 kg ÷ 10 kg = 11.55, round up 12 × 10 kg = 120 kg
Cost at list price 12 × ₹6,000.00 ₹72,000.00
Wax per pouring day 132 × 110 g 14,520 g = 14.52 kg
10 kg melter runs a day 14.52 kg ÷ 10 kg, round up 2 runs

No 25 kg or 100 kg pack is listed for any CSI wax, and quantities at this level can be quoted on WhatsApp (+91 7397976926), so treat ₹72,000.00 as the list-price ceiling. CSI's 10 kg Electric Wax Melter page states that it melts 10 kg of soy wax in approximately 30 minutes at 100°C, with a stated ±10°C display deviation, so check the wax with a separate thermometer. Two runs a day is manageable; plan when the second run starts so it is ready before the first pot runs out. A large melter draws real electrical load and holds a lot of hot wax, so place it on a stable surface, keep the area clear and never leave it running unattended.

If the client wants scent
Every gram of oil replaces a gram of wax. At 5% of a 110 g bubble, each pour is 5.5 g oil and 104.5 g wax, so 1,050 pours need 5,775 g of oil. Choose an oil whose page states a pillar or paraffin range, such as Sandalwood, and add it below the published flashpoint.

Wicks and the rest of the daily line

Bubble candles are often bought for décor, but some will be lit, so the wick has to work. CSI publishes no wick sizing chart. Test Eco C1 against Eco C2 in your cured test bubble and watch for a flame that is too tall for the narrow top sphere or one that drowns in the lower ones. Burn on a heat-resistant plate, never unattended, and stop any test that smokes or flares.

If Eco C1 passes, 1,050 wicks cost a 1,000 pack at ₹5,900.00 plus a 50 pack at ₹295.00, which is ₹6,195.00, or ₹5.90 each. With 110 g of Soy Pillar Wax at 110 × ₹0.60 = ₹66.00, each unscented bubble costs ₹66.00 + ₹5.90 = ₹71.90 in wax and wick. That excludes the moulds, packaging, labels, labour, shipping and GST.

1
Morning: melt and wick. Start the first melt and wick every cavity for the first cycle while the wax heats.
2
Cycle one: pour 44. Pour at a steady pace and log the time each cavity is filled.
3
Between cycles: demould, trim, inspect. Remove set bubbles, trim seams, check wick position and move rejects to a re-melt tray.
4
Cycles two and three: repeat. Start the second melt so the pot never runs dry mid-cycle.
5
End of day: count. Count good bubbles against the 132 target, write the shortfall or surplus, and adjust tomorrow.

If the order is coloured

Wedding bubbles often come in a single shade matched to the décor. Colour a thousand pieces from one master batch made before day one, not from fresh dye added to each melt, or the eighth day will not match the first. CSI publishes no dye dosage per kg, so settle the shade in the test bubbles and write it down as grams of master per kilo of wax. Then re-run the wick test on a coloured bubble, because dye changes how the wax burns.

The first full day is the real test of the plan. Expect it to be slower than your timed test, because the moulds are all new, the routine is unfamiliar and the second melt has never been timed. If day one delivers fewer than 132 good pieces, do not wait for it to improve on its own. Recalculate the remaining seven days against the shortfall and decide that evening whether you need more cavities, a longer window or a second pair of hands.

Buy this to test, buy this once validated

For the test, buy Soy Pillar Wax 1 kg at ₹600.00, Eco C1 20 wicks at ₹118.00 and Eco C2 10 wicks at ₹94.40, which is ₹812.40, and pour four or five bubbles in one of your own moulds. Use them to time the cycle, weigh the fill and burn-test a cured piece. Once the bubble passes, order the twelve 10 kg packs, or ask on WhatsApp for a quote, the 1,050 wicks of whichever Eco wick won, and your full count of moulds, all before the first pouring day.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials and production equipment, not finished candles. This guide separates general candle-making practice from what CSI's own product pages state, says plainly where CSI publishes no figure (wick sizes, burn times, hardness), and labels every wick, load, test count or margin as a starting point for your own validation.

Prices are live CSI prices from October 2026; product pages are authoritative. Where a spec is not published — such as a wick size for your jar, a mould's cycle life or a wax's survival temperature — this guide says so rather than filling the gap.
