Reviews collected and published through Judge.me on candlemakingsuppliesindia.store. Left on Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, Soy Pillar Wax, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Eco Soy CSI 400 respectively. Two are trimmed with an ellipsis; wording is otherwise unedited. None of these reviews describes a bulk wax purchase decision — they are quality, packaging and service reviews, and none of them tells you whether to buy 46 kg or 50 kg. The arithmetic below does that.

46 kg is buildable exactly on most CSI waxes. 50 kg is a real pack on only one of them. And on this catalogue rounding up buys almost no discount — on one wax it costs you more. Here is the arithmetic, wax by wax, and the number that actually works.
47 kg
not 46 and not 50, once retained and approval samples are in the count · every figure below is CSI live pricing, September 2026, and the linked product page is always authoritative
Quick answers — read this first
Can I even buy exactly 46 kg? On most CSI soy waxes, yes. The ladder is 500 g / 1 kg / 5 kg / 10 kg, so 46 kg = 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg. Fix the premise first: 46 kg is not an awkward number here.

Can I buy exactly 50 kg? As a single pack, only on Natural Soy Pearl Wax — 50 kg at ₹21,240.00, ₹424.80/kg, the only wax pack above 10 kg on the store. Everywhere else "50 kg" means five 10 kg bags.

Does rounding up get me a better rate? Almost never. CSI 464 is flat at ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg upwards, and Luxury Soy Chunks' 10 kg bag is ₹0.90/kg dearer than its 1 kg. Only Natural Soy Pearl has a real break, and it stops at 5 kg.

So what is the real decision? Not price — risk and handling. Shortage cover, fewer parcels and one batch code instead of six, set against cash tied up and wax you may never pour.
The short answer
Fix the premise: 46 kg is purchasable to the kilogram on CSI 464, Luxury Soy Chunks, Soy Pillar Wax, Natural Soy Pearl, Eco Soy CSI 400 and Coconut Soy CSI 468. There is no 25 kg pack of anything.
Price is not the argument: 46 kg of CSI 464 is ₹23,340.40 and 50 kg is ₹25,370.00 — the same ₹507.40/kg either way. On Luxury Soy Chunks the bigger bag is dearer per kilogram.
Risk is the argument: a shortage mid-run costs a second parcel, a second wait, a second batch code and possibly a client date. Four spare kilograms of a wax you pour monthly cost storage and nothing else. That asymmetry is why most makers should round up.
The number to buy: once approval and retained samples are counted, usually 47 kg or 48 kg. Shop: Candle Wax · Candle Wicks · Containers · Fragrance Oils · confirm stock and lead time on WhatsApp.

Every published ₹/kg for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 and Natural Soy Pearl Wax on one scale from ₹425 to ₹600. Two of the three lines are flat; CSI 464 does not move at all above 1 kg. Chunks tilts upwards at 10 kg by ₹0.90/kg, too small to see here, so the boxed panel redraws that ladder alone on a ₹598.00–₹600.00 axis, pack sizes evenly spaced. Natural Soy Pearl has the only real step down, at 5 kg, and then it stops.
Straight answer
Should I buy exactly 46 kg, or round up to 50 kg?
First, the premise. 46 kg is not an awkward number on this catalogue — the wax ladder is 500 g / 1 kg / 5 kg / 10 kg, so 46 kg is 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg, to the kilogram. 50 kg is the awkward number. It exists as a single pack on exactly one wax, Natural Soy Pearl Wax at ₹21,240.00; everywhere else "50 kg" means five 10 kg bags. There is no 25 kg pack of any wax here, so if your plan assumed one, rebuild it. Second, price is not the reason to round up: CSI 464 is flat at ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg up, so 46 kg (₹23,340.40) and 50 kg (₹25,370.00) cost the same per kilogram, and on Luxury Soy Chunks the 10 kg bag is ₹0.90/kg dearer than the 1 kg. Round up for shortage cover, fewer parcels and a single batch code — and once retained and approval samples are counted honestly, the number you want is usually 47 kg or 48 kg, not 50.
One line: 46 kg is buyable exactly, 50 kg is buyable as one pack only on Natural Soy Pearl, rounding up saves you nothing on rate — so decide on shortage risk, and the honest number is usually 47–48 kg.
For the single-parcel version of this decision: Natural Soy Pearl Wax is the only wax on the store with a pack above 10 kg — 50 kg at ₹21,240.00, or ₹424.80/kg, the same rate as its 5 kg and 10 kg packs. One bag, one batch, one thing to open.

What "46 kg" and "50 kg" actually mean on this catalogue

The question assumes 46 kg is hard to buy and 50 kg is easy. On CSI it is the other way round, and getting that the wrong way round costs you real money.

Most rounding-up advice in maker groups comes from suppliers who sell wax in 25 kg cartons — a real constraint, because if the only unit on offer is 25 kg then 46 kg forces you to 50 kg. CSI does not sell a 25 kg pack of anything; checked across the whole catalogue in September 2026, zero. The ladder here is 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg, and one wax carries a fifth rung.

The exception, precisely: Natural Soy Pearl Wax is sold in 1 kg (₹450.00), 5 kg (₹2,124.00), 10 kg (₹4,248.00) and 50 kg (₹21,240.00) — the only wax pack above 10 kg on the store. CSI 464, Luxury Soy Chunks, Soy Pillar Wax and Coconut Soy CSI 468 all stop at 10 kg; Eco Soy CSI 400 stops at 5 kg.

So 46 kg is exactly buildable, and here is the build. Four 10 kg bags + one 5 kg + one 1 kg = 46 kg on the nose, six packs, no remainder. On Eco Soy CSI 400, whose largest pack is 5 kg, it is nine 5 kg bags plus one 1 kg — ten packs, still exactly 46 kg. The one wax you cannot hit 46 kg cleanly on is Premium Coconut Soy Wax, which stops at 1 kg, so 46 kg means 46 separate packs.

So the real decision is narrower than "46 or 50". On Natural Soy Pearl Wax you are genuinely choosing between assembling 46 kg from smaller packs and buying one 50 kg bag. On every other soy wax you are choosing between six packs and five 10 kg bags — not a rounding decision at all, but a decision about whether you want 4 kg of spare wax.

Before you build the order
CSI publishes no minimum order quantity, no price slab, no rate card, no bulk discount tier and no credit term. The variant prices on the listing are the prices, so do not build a costing on a discount nobody has quoted you. CSI also publishes no dispatch or delivery time, so confirm current lead time on WhatsApp (+91 7397976926) before you commit to a client date rather than assuming one from a previous order.

The arithmetic, wax by wax

Every figure below is a published September 2026 variant price, multiplied out: the cheapest real combination making 46 kg, what it costs, what the round-up costs, and what the leftover is worth at the wax's own rate. Where a finding runs against CSI's commercial interest it is stated plainly.

Natural Soy Pearl Wax 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (6 packs) ₹19,566.00 1 × 50 kg = ₹21,240.00 (1 pack) ₹1,674.00 for 4 kg more
Eco Soy CSI 400 46 × 1 kg (46 packs) or 9 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (10 packs) ₹18,354.00 / ₹18,363.00 10 × 5 kg = ₹19,960.00 ₹1,597.00 for 4 kg more, against the 5 kg build
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (6 packs) ₹23,340.40 5 × 10 kg = ₹25,370.00 ₹2,029.60 for 4 kg more
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 9 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (10 packs) ₹27,554.00 10 × 5 kg = ₹29,950.00 ₹2,396.00 for 4 kg more
Soy Pillar Wax 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (6 packs) ₹27,600.00 5 × 10 kg = ₹30,000.00 ₹2,400.00 for 4 kg more
Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg (6 packs) ₹29,315.00 5 × 10 kg = ₹31,850.00 ₹2,535.00 for 4 kg more

Read the last column twice. In every row, the extra you pay to round up is almost exactly the market rate for the extra wax — four kilograms of wax at the price of four kilograms of wax, plus or minus tens of rupees. In the plainest possible terms: rounding up on this catalogue is not a saving.

Against our own interest, finding one: CSI 464 has no volume break at all. Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is ₹507.40 at 1 kg, ₹2,537.00 at 5 kg and ₹5,074.00 at 10 kg — all three ₹507.40/kg exactly. So 46 kg costs ₹23,340.40 however you assemble it, 47 kg costs ₹23,847.80, 48 kg costs ₹24,355.20 and 50 kg costs ₹25,370.00, and the only thing the bigger bags buy is fewer parcels to open. Anyone who tells you the 10 kg bag gets a better rate on this wax is wrong, and the listing settles it in ten seconds. One caution the other way: the 500 g pack at ₹260.00 is ₹520.00/kg, dearer than every larger pack — never top up a CSI 464 order in 500 g packs when 1 kg is ₹507.40.
Against our own interest, finding two: the Luxury Soy Chunks 10 kg bag is dearer per kilogram than the 1 kg. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is ₹599.00 at 1 kg and ₹2,995.00 at 5 kg — both ₹599.00/kg — and ₹5,999.00 at 10 kg, which is ₹599.90/kg, ₹0.90 dearer per kilogram than the small pack. Not a typo: ₹5,999.00 ÷ 10 = ₹599.90. So here the standard advice to "buy the big bag" costs money. Build 46 kg as 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg and you pay ₹27,590.00; build it from 5 kg and 1 kg packs and you pay ₹27,554.00. That ₹36.00 is exactly ₹0.90 × the 40 kg taken in 10 kg bags. Small in rupees; the direction is the point. The 500 g pack at ₹299.00 is ₹598.00/kg, the cheapest rate on this wax — ninety-two make 46 kg for ₹27,508.00, ₹82.00 less. We do not recommend it: ninety-two bags to slit open is worth more than ₹82.00. Know it anyway, and stop assuming size equals value.
1
Natural Soy Pearl Wax — the one wax where the question is realThe only wax with a genuine volume break, and the break is smaller than people expect: ₹450.00/kg at 1 kg falls to ₹424.80/kg at 5 kg and then stays there at 10 kg and at 50 kg. It is flat above 5 kg, so the 50 kg bag is not cheaper per kilogram than the 10 kg bags — it is the same rate in one parcel. Assembled: 4 × 10 kg (₹16,992.00) + 1 × 5 kg (₹2,124.00) + 1 × 1 kg (₹450.00) = ₹19,566.00 for 46 kg, an effective ₹425.35/kg, a shade above the ladder rate because that 1 kg pack is ₹450.00. The 50 kg bag is ₹21,240.00, exactly what ten 5 kg packs or five 10 kg bags cost. The gap is ₹1,674.00; the 4 kg leftover is worth ₹1,699.20 at ₹424.80/kg, so the extra wax costs ₹25.20 less than its own rate — the saving on the 1 kg pack you drop. Slightly better value, enormously better handling: if this is your standing wax, take the bag.
2
Eco Soy CSI 400 — the cheapest soy per kilogram, on a ladder that also tilts upEco Soy CSI 400 is ₹399.00 at 1 kg and ₹1,996.00 at 5 kg, which divides out at ₹399.20/kg, ₹0.20 more than the 1 kg pack — the Chunks ladder in miniature. Forty-six 1 kg packs cost ₹18,354.00; nine 5 kg packs plus one 1 kg cost ₹18,363.00, ₹9.00 more for thirty-six fewer bags, obviously the right trade. Its largest pack is 5 kg, so "50 kg" here is ten 5 kg packs at ₹19,960.00 — ₹1,597.00 more for 4 kg more wax. At ₹399.00/kg it is the cheapest soy in the catalogue, and therefore the cheapest wax to hold spare.
3
Soy Pillar Wax and Coconut Soy CSI 468 — one perfectly flat, one with a real but early breakSoy Pillar Wax is the cleanest ladder on the store: ₹300.00/500 g, ₹600.00/1 kg, ₹3,000.00/5 kg, ₹6,000.00/10 kg — every rung ₹600.00/kg. So 46 kg is ₹27,600.00, 50 kg is ₹30,000.00, and there is nothing to decide on price. Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 does step: ₹650.00/kg at 500 g and 1 kg, dropping to ₹637.00/kg at 5 kg and 10 kg, and like Natural Soy Pearl it stops there. 46 kg is ₹29,315.00 (45 kg at ₹637.00 plus a 1 kg pack at ₹650.00); five 10 kg bags are ₹31,850.00, and that ₹2,535.00 gap is 4 kg at ₹637.00 less the ₹13.00 premium on the 1 kg pack you drop.
The CSI principle
On this catalogue, the pack you choose changes how many parcels arrive. It barely changes what you pay.
Two of the six soy waxes get slightly dearer per kilogram as the pack grows; two never move above 1 kg; two step down once at 5 kg and then flatten. Nowhere does the rate keep falling as the order grows, because CSI publishes no volume slab. Anybody who rounds up here believing they have negotiated a better rate has simply bought more wax.
Planning a festive run? Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November. Because CSI publishes no dispatch or delivery time, the only safe way to schedule a 46 kg wax order against that date is to ask what the current lead time is before you promise anything to a client. One message, and your production calendar stops being a guess.
Ask about lead time on WhatsApp

Rounding up is a risk decision, not a price decision

Once the rate stops moving, the only thing left to weigh is what happens if you are wrong in each direction — and being wrong is not symmetrical.

Strip the discount out, as the table above does, and rounding up is a plain insurance question. You pay a known premium — ₹1,597.00 on Eco Soy CSI 400 up to ₹2,535.00 on Coconut Soy CSI 468, always at the wax's own rate — to cover one event: discovering mid-run that you are short. Price both sides of it.

What rounding up buys and what it costs
Both columns in rupees, on real CSI prices, for a 46 kg requirement
What you buy Worth What you pay Cost
Cover against a mid-run shortage The value of not stopping — a second parcel, a second wait, possibly a missed client date Cash tied up in wax you have not poured ₹1,674.00 on Natural Soy Pearl, up to ₹2,535.00 on Coconut Soy CSI 468
Fewer parcels to receive, check and open One 50 kg bag instead of six packs, on the only wax that offers it Storage — 50 kg of wax needs a cool, dry, dark place it will not soften in Real but unpriced; it is your floor space
One batch code across the whole order No colour or texture shift between candles in the same delivery The risk you never pour the surplus ₹1,699.20 of dead stock if you never use that wax again (4 kg at ₹424.80)
Headroom for a re-pour if a batch fails 4 kg is roughly 21 more 184 g candles' worth of wax Nothing, if the wax is one you pour every month ₹0 in practice — it is simply next month's stock, bought early

The fourth row decides it for most people. 4 kg of spare wax is only a cost if you never use it. If you pour CSI 464 every month, buying 50 kg instead of 46 kg is not wastage — it is 4 kg of next month's wax at this month's price, and because the rate is flat you have not even lost the option value of buying later. Soy wax kept cool, dry, dark and sealed holds fine between runs. For a one-off wax the surplus is a genuine loss, and you should buy the exact build.

The asymmetry, which is the actual argument for rounding up. Running out with four kilograms to go is not the mirror image of finishing with four spare. Being short means a second order mid-production; a second wait of unknown length, because CSI publishes no lead time and you should confirm the current one on WhatsApp rather than assume it from your last parcel; a second batch code landing inside one client's order; a melter and pitcher cleaned down and restarted; and, if the date is fixed, a conversation you do not want. Being long means four kilograms in a box. One outcome costs you a customer, the other costs you shelf space. For a wax you use regularly, that is why the default should be to round up — not because it is cheaper, which it plainly is not, but because the downside it removes dwarfs the one it creates.
When the asymmetry flips
It reverses completely for a wax you will never buy again. A trial run of Soy Pillar Wax for one designer commission, or Coconut Soy CSI 468 for one premium client who may not reorder, should be bought to the kilogram — there, 4 kg spare is ₹2,400.00 or ₹2,548.00 of wax you are unlikely to pour. The question is not "how much wax do I need", it is "will I pour this wax again".

Where your 46 kg came from, and why it is probably already short

Before you round a number up, find out whether it has already been rounded up once. Double-counting a buffer is the commonest error in this whole calculation.

A figure like 46 kg comes out of a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet usually contains two things you have stopped thinking about: a fragrance-load convention and a buffer. Both change the answer, and one changes it by more than the rounding decision does.

Start with the denominator. Fragrance load is a percentage of something, and which something moves the wax figure. Take 250 candles of 200 g at 8%. If that means 8% of finished weight, each candle is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax, so 250 × 184 g = 46.0 kg — very likely where your number came from. If it means 8% of the wax weight, the same candle is 14.8 g of oil and 185.2 g of wax, so 250 × 185.2 g = 46.3 kg: three hundred grams apart at 250 units, widening in proportion to the order. Both conventions live inside CSI's own catalogue, because the Luxury Soy Chunks listing states its 13% ceiling as a percentage of total wax weight. Write down which convention your 46 kg used before anything else. Those ceilings — 13% on Chunks, 10% on CSI 464 — are wax-manufacturer formulation limits, not regulatory ones.

Then count the units you have not counted. A 250-candle order is not a 250-candle purchase. You need approval samples for the client to sign off and retained samples — jars from the run, labelled with the batch, kept on your own shelf — so a complaint in eight weeks is answered with the actual candle rather than a memory of it. Add two approval and three retained: 250 becomes 255, and at 184 g each, 255 × 184 g = 46.92 kg. Your 46 kg was already short before any buffer.

CSI publishes no wastage or loss percentage, and you should not use anyone else's. Transfer loss — wax clinging to the melter, the pitcher, the spout and the stirrer — is a property of your equipment and your pouring habits, not of the wax. Measure yours: weigh the pitcher and melter empty; melt and pour a batch of known weight; weigh both vessels again once cold; the difference is what stayed behind. Repeat over three batches and average. That number is yours, it is repeatable, and it beats any figure you can borrow. A candle making weighing scale at ₹354.00, the Steel Pouring Pitcher (Large, 600 ML) at ₹708.00 and a pen thermometer at ₹354.00 are the whole kit.
1
Work the order through, with the loss figure labelled as an illustrationSuppose you measure your own transfer loss at 1.5% over three batches. That 1.5% illustrates the method; it is not a CSI specification, and your kit will give a different number. Applied to 46.92 kg it gives 47.62 kg, which on the CSI ladder rounds to 47 kg or 48 kg, not 50. On CSI 464, 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 3 × 1 kg = 48 kg for ₹24,355.20 against ₹25,370.00 for 50 kg — ₹1,014.80 saved by counting properly rather than rounding to a tidy number.
2
Do not apply a buffer twiceIf your 46 kg already contains a measured allowance for loss and breakage, rounding it to 50 kg is a second buffer on top of the first — you are now holding cover for roughly 8% of the order having decided 1.5% was right. That is not caution, it is arithmetic drift. Buffers belong in the calculation once, visibly, with a note on what they are for. "47.6 kg: 255 units including five samples, plus 1.5% measured transfer loss" is a number you can defend to yourself in six weeks. "About 50, to be safe" is not.

Six packs, and the order that shifts colour halfway through

One argument for the single big bag has nothing to do with money. Assembling 46 kg from six packs may mean more than one production lot, and soy wax from different lots can differ slightly in shade and crystal texture. On a single jar nobody notices; across one client's 250 candles side by side, a faint difference between the first eighty and the last eighty is exactly what a buyer photographs and sends back to you.

The habit that fixes it, and it costs nothing
Record which packs went into which candles. Write each bag's batch or lot marking onto your pour sheet, number the pours, and keep retained samples per pour rather than per order, labelled with the pour number and the pack. Then a shade complaint means naming the forty candles affected instead of offering to replace two hundred and fifty. Candle Care Stickers at ₹413.00 per 500 (₹0.83 each) will carry a pour number on the base of the jar if you want the traceability to travel with the candle.

Where shade consistency across one large order genuinely matters — a hotel amenity run, wedding favours, anything seen as a set — the single 50 kg bag of Natural Soy Pearl Wax stops being about price at all. One bag is one lot. That is a specification argument, and a legitimate reason to pay ₹1,674.00 over the 46 kg build. On any other wax, ask about lot consistency on WhatsApp before assuming six packs match — the wax verification guide covers what to check on arrival.

The other rounding decisions in the same order

Wax is not the only line that needs rounding, and the other three behave differently — so buffer per material, never one flat percentage across the order. The failure modes are not the same: glass breaks and wax does not. Leftover wax is stock, so its buffer can be thin; jars arrive broken or crack on the pour, so theirs must be real; wicks weigh nothing and cost ₹5.90, so theirs should be generous; fragrance oil keeps but is the dearest line per gram, so it wants the tightest count. Figures continue the same worked order — 250 candles of 200 g at 8% of finished weight, so 46 kg of wax and 4 kg of oil — and the complete raw-material list is where to start that sheet.

Four materials, four different rounding rules
What the exact count costs, what a round-up costs, and how much buffer is sensible
Line Pack ladder Exact requirement Round-up Buffer verdict
Wax — CSI 464 500 g / 1 kg / 5 kg / 10 kg 46 kg = ₹23,340.40 50 kg = ₹25,370.00 (+₹2,029.60) Thin buffer; spare wax is stock, not waste
Fragrance — Citrus Lemon 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg — nothing above 1 kg 4 kg = 4 × 1 kg = ₹11,328.00 5 kg = 5 × 1 kg = ₹14,160.00 (+₹2,832.00) Tightest count of the four; it is the dearest gram in the order
Jars — 200ml Salsa Glass Jar 5 / 50 / 100 pieces for this jar; the ladder differs per jar 250 = 2 × 100 + 1 × 50 = ₹7,375.00 300 = 3 × 100 = ₹8,850.00 (+₹1,475.00) Real buffer required; glass breaks in transit and cracks on the pour
Wicks — Eco Wick Thin (C1) 10 / 20 / 50 / 100 / 500 / 1,000 wicks 250 = 2 × 100 + 1 × 50 = ₹1,475.00 300 = 3 × 100 = ₹1,770.00 (+₹295.00) Buy spares. This is the cheapest insurance on the whole order

Fragrance rounds in 1 kg steps, and there is no pack above 1 kg anywhere in the catalogue — not 2 kg, not 5 kg, not a drum. A 4 kg requirement is four 1 kg bottles of the same oil; the multiplication is the whole answer. The ladder tilts here too: Citrus Lemon is ₹2,832.00 at 1 kg (₹2.83/g) against ₹1,420.00 at 500 g (₹2.84/g), so buy in kilograms rather than halves. Message +91 7397976926 to discuss volume, but again: no slab, rate card or discount tier is published, so do not cost your candles against one. How much fragrance oil a candle business needs and buying fragrance oils in bulk in India work the volume side properly.

Jars round to their own pack size, and there is no universal carton of 24. Across the CSI container range pack sizes are 1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 20, 50 and 100 pieces depending on the product, so the only way to round a jar line is to open that jar's listing and read its ladder. The 200ml Salsa Glass Jar with golden lid runs 5 pieces at ₹200.60 (₹40.12 each), 50 at ₹1,475.00 and 100 at ₹2,950.00 (₹29.50 each at both) — a real break between 5 and 50, then flat. The White Matte Glass Jar is ₹354.00 per 5 and ₹708.00 per 10, ₹70.80 each either way. And one warning: "200 ml" is a volume, not a 200 g fill. Where a jar publishes no fill capacity, pour one, weigh the wax that went in, and build the requirement from that measured figure rather than the millilitre number in the title. Getting this wrong is how a 46 kg calculation turns out to have been a 52 kg one.

Wicks are the easiest decision on the list, because the ladder does not move at all. Eco Candle Wicks in Thin (C1) are ₹5.90 per wick at every pack size — ₹59.00 for 10, ₹118.00 for 20, ₹295.00 for 50, ₹590.00 for 100, ₹2,950.00 for 500, ₹5,900.00 for 1,000. Six sizes, one rate; Thick (C2) is likewise ₹9.44 per wick. Fifty spare C1 wicks therefore cost ₹295.00 against a ₹23,340.40 wax line — about 1.3% — for full cover against mis-centred wicks, wicks trimmed short and the two you drop on the floor. Buy the spares. The wick guide by diameter will save you a test batch, and the Candle Wicks collection is seven products.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA sells the wax on this page, and this page tells you that buying more of it does not get you a better rate. That is not modesty; it is what the published variant prices say when you divide them out. A maker who rounds up expecting a volume discount and builds it into a costing will find the gap later, and will be right not to believe the next page we write.

Every price, pack size and per-kilogram rate here comes from live CSI variant pricing in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and availability take precedence. The ladder is 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg, with one 50 kg variant on Natural Soy Pearl Wax; there is no 25 kg wax pack on the store. CSI publishes no wastage percentage, no dispatch or delivery time, no minimum order quantity, no price slab and no credit term, and none appears anywhere on this page. The 1.5% transfer loss in the worked example illustrates a measurement method; it is not a specification.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy exactly 46 kg of soy wax from CSI?
Yes, on most waxes. The ladder is 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg, so 46 kg = 4 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg + 1 × 1 kg with no remainder — ₹23,340.40 on CSI 464, ₹19,566.00 on Natural Soy Pearl Wax, ₹27,600.00 on Soy Pillar Wax. Eco Soy CSI 400's largest pack is 5 kg, so 46 kg there is nine 5 kg packs plus one 1 kg.
Is there a 25 kg bag of soy wax?
No. There is no 25 kg pack of any wax on the store, so a plan or quote that assumes one was built on another supplier's catalogue. CSI's largest pack for most waxes is 10 kg. The single exception is Natural Soy Pearl Wax, which also has a 50 kg variant at ₹21,240.00 (₹424.80/kg).
Do I get a cheaper rate per kilogram if I buy the 10 kg bag instead of 5 kg packs?
Usually not, and on one wax it is the reverse. CSI 464 is ₹507.40/kg at 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg — identical at all three — and Soy Pillar Wax is ₹600.00/kg at every size. Luxury Soy Chunks is ₹599.00/kg at 1 kg and 5 kg but ₹599.90/kg at 10 kg, ₹0.90 dearer per kilogram — on 40 kg taken in 10 kg bags that is ₹36.00 more than the same wax in 5 kg packs. Only Natural Soy Pearl and Coconut Soy CSI 468 step down at all, and both steps land at 5 kg and then flatten. CSI publishes no volume slab or bulk discount tier.
So should I round up to 50 kg or not?
Round up if you pour that wax regularly: the spare is next month's stock, and running out mid-run is far worse than holding 4 kg. Buy the exact build for a trial wax or a one-off client range, where the surplus is dead money. Either way, do it for the shortage cover and the parcel count, not because the bigger pack is a better rate — on this catalogue it generally is not. On Natural Soy Pearl Wax the 50 kg bag is the one case where rounding up is both slightly better value (₹424.80/kg against ₹425.35/kg) and much better handling.
What wastage percentage should I add to my wax requirement?
CSI publishes no wastage or loss figure, and you should not adopt one from a forum. Transfer loss depends on your melter, pitcher, pouring speed and how warm you keep the wax, so measure it: weigh pitcher and melter empty, melt and pour a batch of known weight, weigh both again cold, take the difference, repeat over three batches and average. The 1.5% in the worked example is an illustration of that method, not a specification. Check too whether your requirement already contains a buffer before rounding up again.
How long will a 46 kg wax order take to arrive?
CSI publishes no dispatch or delivery time, so we will not quote one here. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 for the current lead time on the packs you want before you commit to a client date, and ask again next order rather than assuming the last one's timing holds. The same message confirms the packs are in stock in the sizes your build needs — a 46 kg build that assumes four 10 kg bags falls apart if only three are available.
Buy the number you calculated
46 kg is purchasable. 50 kg is a pack on one wax. Neither is a discount.

Adding two approval and three retained samples gives 255 units and 46.92 kg.
