Twenty-five CSI fragrance oils carry a live 1 kg pack priced at ₹8,000 or more. This page costs that tier per candle, sets out the three things "premium" can honestly mean on a product page, and names the four things it cannot.
₹129.65–₹384.90
of oil inside one 200 g candle at an 8% load, across the 25 fragrance oils whose live 1 kg is ₹8,000 or more · all 25 publish a three-tier note structure · none publishes a measured flash point · one carries a published review · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What makes a fragrance oil premium? On a page you can check, three things: a published three-tier note structure with named materials, a perfume-grade usage table (candles at 10%, eau de parfum at 20%, extrait at 25%), and a price that reflects the materials. Everything else is adjectives.

What does the premium tier cost per candle? ₹129.65 to ₹384.90 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8%, against ₹45.31 to ₹127.98 across the rest of the range. In a 120 g gift candle the premium oil is ₹77.79 to ₹230.94.

Is a premium oil stronger? No CSI page publishes a throw measurement, because throw belongs to a finished candle, not to a bottle. What several premium pages do publish is a lower recommended load — Coffee Vanilla Tobacco states "7-9% soy wax (strong throw at lower loads)" — which is a claim about concentration you can test.

Where does the premium tier stop being worth it? When the oil alone is a double-digit percentage of your retail price. A 120 g candle with the dearest premium oil carries ₹261.51 of materials before labels, boxes or your time — which only works on a shelf priced for it.
The short answer
Buy premium for the description, not the promise: a three-tier pyramid naming saffron, orris, labdanum or ambergris tells you what the compounder built. "Long-lasting" tells you nothing you can verify.
Cost it in the candle you actually sell: the same oil is ₹77.79 in a 120 g jar and ₹129.65 in a 200 g one. Premium is affordable at small sizes and brutal at large ones.
Expect fewer published numbers, not more: all 18 measured flash points in the range sit on mid-priced oils. The premium tier publishes structure and usage rates instead, so your own burn test does more of the work.
What the premium tier costs where it matters: oil in one 200 g candle at 8% Sandalwood · ₹5,026.80/kg ₹80.43 — the mid-range benchmark White Royal Oud · ₹8,103 ₹129.65 Coffee Vanilla Tobacco · ₹8,599 ₹137.58 Santal Noir · ₹9,120 ₹145.92 Gingham Heart of Gold · ₹10,800 ₹172.80 Lavender Oud · ₹12,000 ₹192.00 English Pear & Freesia · ₹14,560 ₹232.96 Dearest live kilo · ₹24,056 ₹384.90 — a fine-perfume concentrate at candle load
Bar length is the oil cost inside one 200 g candle at an 8% load: kilo price ÷ 1,000 × 16 g. The step from a good mid-range woody to the entry of the premium tier is ₹49.22 a candle. The step from there to the top of the range is another ₹255.25. Both are decisions about a shelf price, not about quality.
Straight answer
What counts as a premium candle fragrance oil, and what does it cost a maker in Bhopal per candle?
Treat "premium" as a price tier plus a documentation standard, because those are the only parts a buyer can check. At CSI in September 2026, 25 fragrance oils carry a live 1 kg pack at ₹8,000 or more, from Orange No. 3 at ₹8,032 to a fine-perfume concentrate at ₹24,056. Inside a 200 g candle at 8% that is ₹128.51 to ₹384.90 of oil; inside a 120 g gift candle, ₹77.09 to ₹230.94. What all 25 have in common is a published three-tier note structure with named materials — White Royal Oud publishes "Top Notes Bergamot, saffron … Middle Notes White royal oud, rose petals, labdanum … Base Notes Creamy sandalwood, ambergris, soft musk", and Lavender Oud publishes "Top: Lavender, Bergamot, Clary Sage Heart: Oud, Orris, Geranium, Cedarwood Base: Sandalwood, Amber, Tonka, Musk". Seventeen also carry the perfume-grade usage table with candles at 10% and a stated instruction to start at 7%. What none of them has is a measured flash point — all 18 measured values in the CSI range sit on mid-priced oils — and only one of the 25 carries a published customer review. So the premium tier buys you a richer composition and a fuller description, and it shifts more of the verification onto your own burn test. Price it in the candle, test at 100 g, and only then commit a kilo.
One line: premium is what the page publishes plus what the materials cost — never a throw figure, because nobody publishes one.
Building a gift-shelf candle? Four premium listings carry a 15 g trial from ₹130, sixteen start at 50 g and five start at 100 g — and every one of the 25 publishes its full note structure on the page.

What premium can honestly mean

Every fragrance page in India says premium. The useful question is which part of it you could hold the supplier to six months later.

"Premium" is a buyer's word, not a specification, and nothing stops any supplier printing it. So the only workable definition is built from what appears on the page as fact: the structure of the composition, the concentration it was formulated to, and the price of the materials. The table splits the checkable from the rest.

Premium claims and the evidence behind them · CSI pages, September 2026
Three markers you can check, four claims nobody can
The claim Checkable? What the CSI premium tier actually publishes
"Built like a fine fragrance" Yes All 25 publish a three-tier top / heart / base structure with named materials — saffron, labdanum, ambergris, orris, clary sage, tonka
"Perfume-grade concentration" Yes 17 of 25 carry the maximum-usage-rate table: candles 10%, eau de parfum 20%, extrait 25%, reed diffusers 25% — with "start at 7% and adjust based on your wax blend"
"Expensive materials" Yes The price is the evidence: a live kilo of ₹8,032 to ₹24,056, against a range median of ₹6,499
"Stronger throw" No No CSI page publishes a measured throw result. Several publish a projection word in the compounder's own language, which is an opinion, not a reading
"Longer lasting" No No page publishes a burn-hour or scent-persistence figure, and none states a shelf life
"Fully certified" No 23 of 25 use IFRA wording, but no page publishes a certificate, amendment or category number and none attaches a document. SDS and IFRA documentation are supplied on request via WhatsApp
"High flash point" No None of the 25 publishes a measured flash point. Seventeen carry the shared line "Flash Point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which is a threshold for alcohol formats, not a measurement
The mistake: reading a threshold as a measurement. "Flash Point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" appears on seventeen of these premium pages. It says the oil sits above a threshold used for alcohol formats. It is not a measured value and must never be quoted as one — if a supplier's blog turns it into a number, treat everything else on that blog as suspect. The eighteen CSI oils that do publish a measured value are all mid-priced, including Sandalwood at 203°C, Verbena at 200°C and Neroli at 85°C.

One more honest marker cuts against the tier. Only one of the 25 carries a published customer review — Gilli Mitti, whose reviewer Renu writes that "Gilli Mitti and Pumpkin Spice scents are amazing and authentic". Twenty-four have none, which is the ordinary consequence of a dearer oil selling in smaller numbers — but it means the published opinions about this tier are the compounder's, and the ones you can trust are your own.

The 25 premium kilos, costed per candle

Here is the tier, priced and converted. The per-candle columns use an 8% load in two sizes — 200 g for the standard retail candle, 120 g for the gift candle — and the gap between them often decides whether a premium oil is usable at all. Stated candle loads are quoted.

Live 1 kg at ₹8,000 and above · CSI live pricing, September 2026

Lavender Oud ₹12,000 100 g ₹1,200 Candles 10% ₹115.20 ₹192.00
English Pear & Freesia ₹14,560 100 g ₹1,499 Candles 10% ₹139.78 ₹232.96
Priced above: oil cost = 1 kg price ÷ 1,000 × 9.6 g for a 120 g candle and × 16 g for a 200 g candle, both at an 8% load. Fourteen of the 25 are named; the other eleven are brand-inspired fine-perfume listings, and in line with this store's editorial policy they are described by their published structure rather than by the fragrance they reference. Their live kilos run from ₹8,400 to ₹24,056, which is ₹134.40 to ₹384.90 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8%. Across the whole tier, four listings carry a 15 g trial, sixteen start at 50 g and five start at 100 g.
Two of the 25 state no candle load at all
Santal Noir and Tangerine publish a full three-tier structure — Santal Noir as "Top Notes: Soft Spice, Subtle Green Accord Heart Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Light Cedar Base Notes: Warm Amber, Musk, Dry Woods" — and no percentage. That is not a reason to avoid them; it is a reason to pour at 8% inside a wax whose own ceiling is stated, log it, and let the cured jar decide. Both carry a 15 g bottle — ₹166 and ₹199 — so shortlisting is cheap.

A premium candle, line by line

Per-kilo prices hide the decision; a full bill of materials does not. Below is the same 120 g amber-jar candle costed four ways, from a mid-range woody to the dearest floral in the tier. Everything except the oil is identical, so the difference is purely the cost of the choice.

One 120 g candle · 8% load · CSI live pricing, September 2026
110.4 g of wax, 9.6 g of oil, one wick, one sticker, one amber jar with lid

Oil as a share of materials 28.4% 39.0% 46.0% 53.5%
Extra cost versus the mid-range column — +₹29.53 +₹55.42 +₹91.52
Worked out above: a 120 g candle at an 8% load is 9.6 g of oil and 110.4 g of wax. Wax: 110.4 g × ₹0.599/g = ₹66.13. Oil: 9.6 g × the per-gram rate — Sandalwood ₹5.0268 = ₹48.26; White Royal Oud ₹8.103 = ₹77.79; Gingham Heart of Gold ₹10.80 = ₹103.68; English Pear & Freesia ₹14.56 = ₹139.78. Eco Candle Wicks are listed at ₹5.90 each flat from 10 wicks (₹59) to 1,000 (₹5,900); wick stickers at ₹2.50 each in the 40-sticker sheet (₹100); the Amber Shiny Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹47.20 each, in a single or a pack of 5 for ₹236. Labels, boxes, ribbon, breakage, rejects and your own time are excluded — they are your costs, not the oil's.

The share row is the one to sit with. At the mid-range, fragrance is 28.4% of materials — a candle governed by the jar and the wax. At the top of the tier it is 53.5%: the oil is the product and everything else is packaging for it. That is sound, but only if the shelf price moves with it. See how to price candles in India in 2026 and how much profit is in candle making.

The mistake: buying a premium oil and keeping a mid-range candle. A ₹14,560 kilo inside a plain jar with a printed sticker does not read as premium to a buyer — it reads as an ordinary candle at an odd price. If you step the oil up, step the vessel, the lid, the label and the box up with it, or step the size down instead. A 120 g premium candle at ₹261.51 of materials is a far easier sell than a 200 g one carrying ₹343.18 of wax and oil before anything else. Gift-box combinations are worked through in best candle fragrance combinations for premium gift boxes.

Four premium oils and what each publishes

Chosen for what is on the page rather than how they smell — the second is your burn test's job. Each card lists every pack size, the per-kilogram rate at each, and how many 120 g gift candles at 8% each pack would scent.

The premium entry with a full trial ladder
White Royal Oud Fragrance Oil
The cheapest way into the tier that still lets you smell before you spend. It runs all five sizes from 15 g at ₹130 to 1 kg at ₹8,103, and its page publishes both a structure and a percentage: "Top Notes Bergamot, saffron … Middle Notes White royal oud, rose petals, labdanum … Base Notes Creamy sandalwood, ambergris, soft musk", a scent family of "Modern Oriental", and a load of "6-10% for candles and 10-15% for wax melts" with the working advice to use "6-7% for a refined, hotel-lobby quality warmth in the background" and increase towards 9–10% for more presence. That is a rare thing in the premium tier: an instruction, not an adjective.

2
Publishes its structure, states no load — and says so
Santal Noir Fragrance Oil
A sandalwood composition with five sizes from 15 g at ₹166, chosen here because it makes the tier's pattern visible. The page publishes a clean three-tier structure — "Top Notes: Soft Spice, Subtle Green Accord Heart Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Light Cedar Base Notes: Warm Amber, Musk, Dry Woods" — and a description of how it develops: "It opens gently — slightly fresh, slightly green. Within minutes, the sandalwood blooms". It states no candle load, no flash point and no vanillin figure. So pour it at 8% in a wax whose ceiling is published, cure it properly, and treat your own logged jar as the specification.

3
Premium with a lower stated load and a printed warning
Coffee Vanilla Tobacco Fragrance Oil
The page argues its own case in numbers rather than adjectives. Stated load: "Recommended load - candles 7-9% soy wax (strong throw at lower loads)" with "Start at 7% and test" — so the premium price partly buys a lower working percentage, which narrows the cost gap. It then prints the inconvenient sentence: "Coffee Vanilla Tobacco contains vanilla and cocoa, which will cause significant browning in white or light-coloured wax over time", and names the answer — espresso brown, matte black, deep burgundy, dark amber. Structure is published as fresh brewed coffee and cocoa over a creamy vanilla heart on a tobacco-amber dry-down.

Fine-perfume tier · the 100 g floor
English Pear & Freesia Fragrance Oil
The dearest floral kilo in the CSI range at ₹14,560, and a useful example of what the fine-perfume tier does and does not give you. It publishes an olfactive profile of "Family: Floral Fruity Top: Pear, Melon, Citrus Zest Heart: Freesia, Rose, Water Lily Base: Amber, Musk, Patchouli", a fragrance type of "Fine perfume oil (concentrated)" and the perfume-grade usage table — candles 10%, extrait 25%, eau de parfum 20%, reed diffusers 25% — with "start at 7% and adjust based on wax blend and wick size". It carries the "Flash Point > 93°C" threshold line, which is not a measured value. There is no 15 g or 50 g size, so ₹1,499 for 100 g is the smallest commitment.
Size Price Per kg 120 g gift candles @ 8%
100g ₹1,499 ₹14,990 ≈10
500g ₹7,280 ₹14,560 ≈52
1 kg ₹14,560 ₹14,560 ≈104
₹139.78 of oil per 120 g candle at 8% and 1 kg pricing Buy English Pear & Freesia
Priced above: per 120 g candle at 8% the oil is 9.6 g. White Royal Oud ₹8.103/g → ₹77.79. Santal Noir ₹9.12/g → ₹87.55. English Pear & Freesia ₹14.56/g → ₹139.78. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco at its stated 7% starting load is 8.4 g of oil in a 120 g candle: 8.4 × ₹8.599 = ₹72.23, rising to ₹82.55 at 8% and ₹92.87 at the stated 9% ceiling. Loads, structures, families, discolouration wording and flash-point lines are quoted from each product page as published in September 2026.
The CSI principle
A premium oil is one whose page describes more and claims less.
The dearest listings in this range publish full note pyramids, perfume-grade usage tables and, on several, an explicit warning that they will brown your white wax. What they do not publish is a throw figure, a shelf life or a certificate number — and a supplier that suddenly finds those for you at ₹14,560 a kilo has found them nowhere.
Testing before the kilo? White Royal Oud 15 g ₹130, Santal Noir 15 g ₹166, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g ₹449, English Pear & Freesia 100 g ₹1,499. For recurring volumes above one kilo, GST invoicing, or SDS and IFRA documentation on a named oil, use the bulk line.

Verifying a premium oil before the kilo

Because the premium tier publishes fewer measurements and almost no reviews, your own verification carries more weight here than anywhere else in the range. This is the cheapest sequence that produces an answer you can act on.

1
Buy the smallest listed size, not the one that "makes sense"Four of the 25 carry a 15 g bottle; sixteen start at 50 g and five at 100 g. A 15 g bottle of White Royal Oud is ₹130 and of Santal Noir ₹166 — that is shortlisting money. Do not start a premium oil at 500 g because the per-gram looked better.
2
Smell it on a blotter, then in wax, then never on a blotter againA fine-perfume composition reads very differently on paper and in a melt pool. Judge the structure on paper, then commit only to a wax test. Cold throw before you light anything is covered in what is cold throw in candles.
3
Pour one 100 g bottle into ten 120 g jarsTen 120 g jars at 8% take 9.6 g of oil and 110.4 g of wax each — 96 g of oil and 1,104 g of wax — so a 100 g bottle covers it with 4 g spare. Split them across two wick sizes and hold everything else constant. Method: the controlled burn test.
4
Pour a colour tile at the same timeSixteen of the 25 publish a discolouration line and nine publish none. Either way, pour a shallow tile of undyed wax with the oil in it and keep it beside a plain control for a month. In a premium candle sold in a clear jar, a warm drift you did not plan for is a rejected order.
5
Ask for documentation on the named oil, before the kiloTwenty-three of the 25 use IFRA wording, but none publishes a certificate or category number and none attaches a document. Ask the bulk line for the SDS and IFRA documentation on one named oil and see whether the answer names it. "Everything is certified" is not an answer.
6
Burn at day 7 and day 14, then decideRecord minutes to a full melt pool, flame height, soot, and throw at 30 and 120 minutes. A premium oil that needs the full cure to show itself is normal; one that is quiet at day 14 in your jar is the wrong oil for that jar, whatever it cost. See how to test hot throw before launching a candle fragrance.
At ₹14,560 a kilo you are not buying certainty. You are buying a better starting point for your own test.

Where a premium candle sells in Bhopal

A premium candle needs an occasion, not just a shelf. For a maker working out of Bhopal, the occasions that carry a candle at a premium price are gifting occasions, and they are concentrated in a few predictable windows. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November, with Navratri and Dussehra ahead of it and Christmas and New Year gifting behind; then the winter and spring wedding seasons, which bring hamper and favour work; then Raksha Bandhan in the monsoon months. Corporate gifting tracks the same festive peak, in larger, plainer, repeat orders.

Matching the tier to the occasion
Which premium decisions each kind of order will actually pay for
Order type Typical size What the buyer is paying for Sensible tier
Single festive gift candle 120–200 g, boxed The scent name, the vessel, the unboxing Premium entry — ₹77.79 to ₹87.55 of oil in a 120 g candle
Wedding hamper insert 100–120 g, in a set Coherence with the other items, not standalone impact Mid-premium in a small size, or mid-range at a higher load
Wedding favour, 200+ pieces 60–100 g Consistency and unit price Mid-range. Premium at this volume rarely survives the quote
Corporate Diwali order, repeat 150–200 g, branded box Reliability of supply and invoicing One premium scent, ordered in kilos, never changed mid-season
Own-brand signature candle 200 g+ The fragrance itself Top of the tier — ₹232.96 of oil in a 200 g candle is defensible here and nowhere else

Central India's year shapes the premium decision too. Hot pre-monsoon weeks soften soy and can slump a finished candle in a closed room; the monsoon puts condensation on cold glass and lifts labels; the cool dry winter makes wax contract faster, so sinkholes and wet spots read more strongly in exactly the season a gift candle is photographed. None of that is a Bhopal statistic — it is general material behaviour — but it is a reason to re-run one control jar when the season turns, because the candle carrying your dearest oil is the one you can least afford to reject. See why soy candles frost and why your candle is sweating fragrance oil.

Buying the premium tier

Three facts govern a premium order, and all are on the product pages. The smallest size is not 15 g on most of the tier — only four listings carry one, so shortlisting can cost ₹402 to ₹1,499 a bottle rather than ₹130. 1 kg is the largest listed pack, premium or not. And above a kilo the arithmetic is multiplication at listed prices, read as a ceiling: four kilos of White Royal Oud is ₹32,412; three kilos of English Pear & Freesia is ₹43,680.

Make the quote request answerable
Four facts do it: the scents and kilos of each, whether the order is one-off or repeating, the delivery city, and whether you need GST invoicing and documentation on file. "3 kg White Royal Oud and 2 kg Santal Noir, repeating each quarter, GST invoice, delivering to Bhopal, SDS needed on both" gets a real answer. There is no CSI shop or warehouse in Bhopal — CSI is an online supplier that ships across India and handles bulk enquiries on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.
The mistake: launching a premium line on a scent that is out of stock at the size you need. Premium listings carry fewer sizes than the mid-range — seventeen of the 25 carry only three sizes — so a listing can be live at 100 g and gone at 1 kg by the time you scale. Before you put a premium scent on a label, check that the size you will reorder in is live today, and ask the bulk line to confirm it for a named oil. The tier also has no sample-pack product and no published minimum order quantity: the floor is simply the smallest listed size.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle raw materials and does not sell finished candles, and is not a manufacturer of fragrance oil. A supplier writing about its own premium tier has every reason to reach for adjectives. This page instead counts what those 25 pages publish — 25 note pyramids, 17 perfume-grade usage tables, 16 discolouration lines, one review and zero measured flash points — and prints the four claims nothing supports.

Every price, pack size and quoted phrase comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. Flash points are quoted only where a page publishes a measured value; the shared line "Flash Point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" is a threshold for alcohol formats and is never treated as a measurement. Brand-inspired listings in the range are described by their published structure only, never by the fragrance they reference. Stated loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and no throw, longevity or shelf-life figure is claimed because no page publishes one.

For help choosing between two premium oils for a specific jar, quotes above one kilo, GST invoicing, or SDS and IFRA documentation on a named oil, message the bulk line on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

What is a premium candle fragrance oil?
On a page you can check, it is an oil with a published three-tier note structure naming real materials, often a perfume-grade usage table (candles 10%, eau de parfum 20%, extrait 25%), and a price that follows from both. At CSI that is the 25 listings with a live 1 kg at ₹8,000 or more, from ₹8,032 to ₹24,056. It is not a claim about throw, longevity or certification — no CSI page publishes a throw measurement, a burn-hour figure or a certificate number.
How much does a premium fragrance oil add to a candle?
In a 200 g candle at an 8% load, ₹128.51 to ₹384.90 of oil against ₹45.31 to ₹127.98 across the rest of the range. In a 120 g gift candle it is ₹77.11 to ₹230.94. Costed as a full bill of materials, the same 120 g amber-jar candle is ₹169.99 with a mid-range woody and ₹261.51 with the dearest floral in the tier — and fragrance moves from 28.4% to 53.5% of materials.
Do premium fragrance oils smell stronger in candles?
Nobody publishes an answer, and this page will not invent one. No CSI fragrance page states a measured throw result, because throw is a property of a finished candle — your wax, wick, jar, load and cure all change it. What some premium pages do state is a lower working load: Coffee Vanilla Tobacco publishes "7-9% soy wax (strong throw at lower loads)" and starts you at 7%. That is a testable claim about concentration, and at 7% it costs ₹72.23 in a 120 g candle.
What is the cheapest way to try a premium fragrance oil?
Buy the smallest listed size. Four of the 25 carry a 15 g bottle — White Royal Oud at ₹130, Santal Noir at ₹166 and Tangerine at ₹199, Gilli Mitti at ₹140. Sixteen start at 50 g and five at 100 g, where the cheapest way to smell them is a ₹899 to ₹1,499 commitment. CSI lists no sample pack and no minimum order quantity, so a trial bench is something you assemble from listed sizes.
Do premium oils publish a flash point?
Not one of the 25 publishes a measured flash point. Seventeen carry the shared line "Flash Point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which states that the oil is above a threshold used for alcohol-based formats — it is not a measured value. All 18 measured flash points in the CSI range sit on mid-priced oils, including Sandalwood 203°C, Verbena 200°C, Cinnamon 193°C and Neroli 85°C. For a premium oil, ask the bulk line for the SDS on that named oil.
Is a premium oil worth it for wedding favours in bulk?
Usually not. A 200-piece favour order is priced per unit, and at 60–100 g each the fragrance choice is the easiest place to lose the margin: ₹230.94 of oil in a 200 g candle does not survive a favour quote. Keep the premium tier for the single boxed gift candle and the own-brand signature, and use the mid-range at a properly tested load for volume. The favour maths is in how much fragrance oil is needed for 100 wedding-favour candles.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The counts and prices describe the CSI range; the definition of premium by published evidence, and the bill-of-materials method, apply to any supplier.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me; three longer reviews are shortened with an ellipsis and otherwise unedited.

Figures verified September 2026: 25 CSI fragrance oils carry a 1 kg pack that is in stock and priced at ₹8,000 or more, running from ₹8,032 to ₹24,056 against a range-wide median live kilo of ₹6,499. Within those 25: all 25 publish a three-tier top / heart / base structure with named materials; 17 carry the perfume-grade maximum-usage-rate table (candles 10%, eau de parfum 20%, extrait 25%, reed diffusers 25%, "start at 7%"); 23 use IFRA wording of some kind while none publishes a certificate, amendment or category number; 16 publish a vanillin or discolouration line; 1 carries a published customer review; and none publishes a measured flash point, though 17 carry the threshold line "Flash Point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)". Smallest listed size across the 25: 15 g on four listings, 50 g on sixteen, 100 g on five. Prices used, 1 kg with smallest listed size in brackets: Orange No. 3 ₹8,032 (50 g ₹402); White Royal Oud ₹8,103 (15 g ₹130, 50 g ₹420, 100 g ₹810, 500 g ₹4,051); Vanilla Orange Blossom ₹8,294 (50 g ₹415); Sparkling Fruit ₹8,469 (50 g ₹423); Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,599 (50 g ₹449); Mahogany Teakwood ₹8,800 (50 g ₹440); Pink Crush ₹8,899 (50 g ₹444); Gilli Mitti ₹8,960 (15 g ₹140); Santal Noir ₹9,120 (15 g ₹166); Gingham Heart of Gold ₹10,800 (50 g ₹549); Amber Oud Royal ₹11,640 (100 g ₹1,299); Tangerine ₹11,999 (15 g ₹199); Lavender Oud ₹12,000 (100 g ₹1,200); English Pear & Freesia ₹14,560 (100 g ₹1,499). Mid-range comparison: Sandalwood 1 kg ₹5,026.80. Measured flash points cited: Sandalwood 203°C, Verbena 200°C, Cinnamon 193°C, Neroli 85°C — 18 CSI pages publish a measured value in total. Per-candle arithmetic: fragrance load is a percentage of the finished candle, so a 120 g candle at 8% is 9.6 g of oil and 110.4 g of wax, and a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g and 184 g; at Coffee Vanilla Tobacco's stated 7% start a 120 g candle is 8.4 g of oil. Some product pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead. Bill of materials: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg ₹599 (₹0.599/g, stated up to 13%, 8–13% with 10% recommended), Eco Candle Wicks ₹5.90 each (10 for ₹59, 1,000 for ₹5,900), Candle Wick Stickers ₹2.50 each in the 40-sticker sheet at ₹100, Amber Shiny Glass Jar with Black Lid ₹47.20 each (pack of 5 ₹236). Multi-kilo ceilings: White Royal Oud 4 × ₹8,103 = ₹32,412; English Pear & Freesia 3 × ₹14,560 = ₹43,680. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, storage specification or minimum order quantity, and none is claimed here.
