Glass containers are inspectable in person before bulk commitment. General craft materials are available in bulk. For a candle business producing at volume, a sourcing trip to Sadar Bazaar for packaging and glass is genuinely worthwhile.

Itar-based fragrances, natural aromatic extracts and fragrance compounds are available here. For a candle maker, the limitation is the same as Dongri in Mumbai: these are perfumery raw materials, not candle-grade fragrance oils. Flash point is not documented. Load percentages for wax are not provided. Many are alcohol-based and not safe to add to a wax candle without independent flash point verification. Worth visiting for the experience and for rare Indian aromatic materials — not as a production fragrance oil source.

The trade-offs are identical to MIDC in Mumbai: industrial grades without candle-specific documentation, 25kg+ minimum orders, no fragrance oil or wick availability, and no technical advisory. For a candle brand producing at very high volume and using paraffin as a blend component, worth investigating. For coconut wax, soy wax, or any production volume below 500 candles per month, industrial area suppliers are not practical.
