Where to Order Candle Fragrance Oils in Bulk in Guwahati
Aktie
What does a 600-tin corporate order need? At 85 g per tin and a 10% load, 8.5 g of oil and 76.5 g of wax each — 5.1 kg of oil and 45.9 kg of wax. Across two scents that is 2.55 kg of oil each: two 1 kg bottles, a 500 g and a 50 g.
What does it cost? ₹39,522 of fragrance on Lavender Cranberry Coconut and Juicy Orange, ₹27,590 for 46 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, ₹18,000 for 600 golden aluminium tins, ₹3,540 of wicks and ₹1,500 of stickers — ₹90,152, or ₹150.25 a tin. Fragrance is 43% to 45% of each tin's material cost.
How do you commit less before it is signed? Pour an approval batch first. Twelve tins, a 100 g bottle of each scent, a kilo of wax, twenty wicks and one sheet of stickers costs ₹2,725 — 3.0% of the order, and it is the thing that turns a hoped-for order into a confirmed one.
On spec, or against a signature
Corporate gifting, hotel and resort amenity orders, tea-industry and institutional hampers: this is the work that makes a candle business in Guwahati worth running, and it all arrives as a quantity somebody mentions before they commit. The temptation is to order the materials while the conversation is warm. Resist it, because the two modes below cost exactly the same amount of money and carry completely different amounts of risk.
| Against a confirmed quantity | On spec | |
|---|---|---|
| What is certain | The count, the scent, the finish date, the unit price | The materials and nothing else |
| Cash exposed before revenue | ₹90,152, but against a known invoice | ₹90,152 of your own money, for an unknown period |
| What you can commit to | Whole kilos of two scents, 600 tins, 46 kg of wax — the efficient quantities | One kilo of one scent and a hundred tins, because anything more is a bet |
| What a wrong scent costs | Rework, caught at the approval batch for ₹2,725 | Up to ₹20,396 of one scent, discovered after the season |
| The right first purchase | The approval batch, so the buyer signs off the actual candle | The approval batch, so you have something to sell with |
| Where the fragrance quantity comes from | Their count × 8.5 g, plus 5% | Your forecast × 8.5 g — and forecasts are not quantities |
The row that matters is the third one. Against a confirmed order you should buy the efficient quantities — whole kilos, whole tin packs, the 10 kg wax bags — because the price per gram is best there and the count is not in doubt. On spec you should buy the reversible quantities, even though they cost slightly more per gram, because the premium you pay for a 500 g bottle instead of a kilo is far smaller than the cost of a kilo you never pour.
A confirmed 600-tin order, line by line
An 85 g tin is the format most corporate and hospitality orders here actually take: small enough to sit in a hamper or on a turndown tray, metal rather than glass so it survives handling, and cheap enough per unit that a buyer can order in hundreds. The Golden Aluminium Tin states a fill capacity of about 85 g of wax, which is what makes it possible to cost this order honestly rather than guessing at a millilitre figure.
| Line | Quantity for 600 | Packs to buy | Cost | Per tin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lavender Cranberry Coconut | 2.55 kg (300 tins) | 2 × 1kg + 1 × 500g + 1 × 50g | ₹20,396 | ₹67.99 of oil |
| Juicy Orange | 2.55 kg (300 tins) | 2 × 1kg + 1 × 500g + 1 × 50g | ₹19,126 | ₹63.74 of oil |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | 45.9 kg | 4 × 10 kg + 6 × 1 kg (46 kg) | ₹27,590 | ₹45.89 of wax |
| Golden Aluminium Tin, 85 g fill | 600 tins | 50 × pack of 12 | ₹18,000 | ₹30 |
| Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) | 600 | 1 × 500 + 1 × 100 | ₹3,540 | ₹5.90 |
| Wick stickers | 600 | 15 sheets of 40 | ₹1,500 | ₹2.50 |
| Order total | 600 tins | ₹90,152 | ₹150.25 average |
Two observations for a contract quote. First, fragrance is 43.1% to 44.6% of the material cost of an 85 g tin at this load — higher than most makers expect, because a metal tin is cheap and the oil is not. If a buyer pushes your unit price down, the oil is where the pressure lands, and that is precisely the line you should not move after an approval batch has been signed off. Second, the wax is the easiest line to improve: switching to Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilo would take the wax from ₹45.89 to ₹38.82 a tin, ₹4,242 across the order — but only if your approval batch was poured on that wax, because a wax change is a new burn test.
The ₹2,725 approval batch
This is the purchase that changes the shape of the whole order. Twelve finished tins — one pack — in the buyer's hands does three jobs at once: it converts a maybe into a count, it is your burn test, and it fixes the recipe you will scale. It costs 3.0% of the order.
| Line | Pack | Cost | What it covers | Left over for the run |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Golden Aluminium Tin | Pack of 12 | ₹360 | Twelve finished samples — six per scent | None; tins are consumed |
| Lavender Cranberry Coconut | 100g | ₹799 | Six tins need 51 g at 10% | 49 g — a spare tin and a re-pour |
| Juicy Orange | 100g | ₹749 | Six tins need 51 g at 10% | 49 g |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | 1 kg | ₹599 | Twelve tins need 918 g | 82 g |
| Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) | 20 wicks | ₹118 | Twelve tins plus eight spares for a second wick trial | 8 wicks |
| Wick stickers | 1 sheet of 40 | ₹100 | All twelve, with 28 spare | 28 stickers |
| Approval batch total | ₹2,725 | 3.0% of the ₹90,152 order | Enough oil for four more tins |
Six tins per scent is the right number because it lets you do two things at once: burn two, hand over four. Burn one at day 7 and one at day 14 in a room you have deliberately chosen, score the melt pool, the flame and the throw at 30 and 120 minutes — and give the buyer four cured, lidded, labelled tins to put on a desk. The candle they approve is then the candle you pour 600 of, which is the only way a contract order stops being a risk.
Four oils for contract and hospitality work
Contract work has a different shortlist from retail: the scent has to be broadly acceptable in a shared room, it must not discolour a pale wax in a metal tin, and it has to be buyable in the same size again next quarter. Each card shows every listed size, the price per kilo at that rung and how many 85 g tins at a 10% load it pours.

What to fix in writing before you pour
Guwahati is wet for a large part of the year and humid for most of the rest of it, and the monsoon months are the worst possible time to discover that your contract has no room in it. None of that changes the materials. All of it changes the dates and the handling — so put those in the quote, where they protect you, rather than in the apology.
| Line in the quote | What it should say | Why it matters here |
|---|---|---|
| Finish date | A date that contains pouring time plus 14 to 21 cure days plus a burn check | The cure cannot be compressed, and a candle handed over early is judged on its worst day |
| The approved sample | Scent, wax, load, wick and tin, exactly as approved — changes re-open the burn test | A substituted wax or wick changes the burn, and in a humid room it changes it more |
| Quantity and tolerance | The count, plus your 5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups | Re-pouring twelve tins in the last week means opening bottles you had sealed |
| Storage before handover | Lidded, boxed, off the floor, away from light | Metal tins are forgiving, but a cardboard carton on a damp floor is not |
| Labelling | Who prints the labels, and when they go on | Labels applied to a cold tin in damp air lift at the edges |
| Documentation | GST invoice, and an SDS request if the buyer's procurement asks for one | Corporate procurement asks late; documentation is requested on WhatsApp, and no page publishes a certificate number |
The one about storage deserves a sentence of honesty. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, an expiry, a storage temperature or a storage instruction — not one of the 107 — so nothing here is a published specification and anyone quoting you a shelf figure for these oils is making it up. What is ordinary material care in a wet climate: keep the working bottle closed between pours, decant what a run needs rather than repeatedly opening a kilo, label every bottle with the date it was opened, and keep as few bottles open at once as the schedule allows. For the tins themselves, a metal container is a genuine advantage in this climate — no cold-glass condensation ring, and a lid that seals.
Seasonally, the contract calendar here is its own shape. Bihu anchors the year, Durga Puja and then Diwali on 8 November 2026 carry the corporate gifting weight, Christmas and the new year bring hospitality and retail orders, and the cool months carry weddings. Working backwards from 8 November, an approval batch poured in the second half of September leaves room for a cure, a scored burn, a confirmed count and a 600-tin pour. Poured in late October, it does not. That is the whole argument for spending ₹2,725 early.
Above a kilo: multiply, then ask
On every one of the 107 fragrance listings, 1 kg is the largest pack CSI lists. There is no 5 kg or 10 kg option, so a multi-kilo requirement is bottles at the listed rate — and that rate is a ceiling, the most you would pay if you simply added bottles to a cart. No volume discount schedule is published, so nothing in the table below gets cheaper as you move right, and what a quote for a repeating schedule comes to is a separate conversation this page will not guess at.
| Oil | 1 kg | 3 kg | 5 kg | Tins from 1 kg | Tins from 5 kg |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Juicy Orange | ₹7,499 | ₹22,497 | ₹37,495 | 117 | 588 |
| Tobacco Vanilla | ₹7,499 | ₹22,497 | ₹37,495 | 117 | 588 |
| Lavender Cranberry Coconut | ₹7,999 | ₹23,997 | ₹39,995 | 117 | 588 |
| Midnight Bakhoor Royale | ₹7,999 | ₹23,997 | ₹39,995 | 117 | 588 |
The useful line in that table is the tin count, not the price. One kilo of any of these scents pours 117 tins of 85 g at a 10% load — so a 600-tin order is a little over five kilos, and a 1,200-tin repeat is a little over ten. Knowing the tins-per-kilo number means you can size a quote the moment a buyer names a count, without opening a spreadsheet. There is no published minimum order, so the quote line is not a gate; it is simply where quantities above the listed packs, GST invoicing and documentation requests are handled.
The order of operations
Sequenced so that the largest payment is the last one, and so that nothing irreversible happens before somebody has confirmed a count.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and has no branch, distributor or warehouse in Guwahati. The commercially attractive version of this page would tell you to buy the ₹90,152 now because the kilo is cheaper per gram. Instead it tells you to spend ₹2,725 and wait for a count, because a maker who delivers one confirmed contract order comes back for the next one, and a maker sitting on unsold materials from a conversation that went quiet usually does not come back at all.
Every price, pack rung and stated figure here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Loads and discolouration positions are quoted only where a product page states them, and they are formulation guidance rather than regulatory limits. Where a page states nothing — Midnight Bakhoor Royale states no candle load and no flash point — this guide says so rather than borrowing a number from a similar scent. Tobacco Vanilla's flash point is given on its page only as above 93°C, which is the shared perfume-grade threshold wording and not a measured value; it is not treated as one here. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, an expiry or a storage instruction, and nothing on this page about humidity, condensation or storage is a published CSI specification — it is ordinary material behaviour you can check in your own workroom.

Juicy Orange 15g ₹126, 50g ₹379, 100g ₹749, 500g ₹3,749, 1kg ₹7,499 (per gram ₹8.40 / ₹7.58 / ₹7.49 / ₹7.498 / ₹7.499; page states 8–10% in soy wax, a moderate uplifting projection that is not overpowering, and that yellowing in white or uncoloured wax is unlikely but to test a small batch first). Midnight Bakhoor Royale 100g ₹799, 500g ₹3,999, 1kg ₹7,999 (no candle load and no flash point stated; page describes a strong projection and a very long-lasting base). Tobacco Vanilla 100g ₹799, 500g ₹3,999, 1 kg ₹7,499 (page states 7–10% for candles starting at 7%, that vanilla and tonka will cause browning in white or light-coloured wax, soap and cream bases over time, and a flash point only as "> 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" — the shared perfume-grade threshold wording, not a measured value). Order quantities: 2.55 kg of each scent as 2 × 1kg + 1 × 500g + 1 × 50g = ₹20,396 and ₹19,126, fragrance total ₹39,522 for 5.1 kg. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 500 g ₹299, 1 kg ₹599, 5 kg ₹2,995, 10 kg ₹5,999 — 4 × 10 kg + 6 × 1 kg = ₹27,590 for 46 kg, costed per tin at the 10 kg rate of ₹0.5999/g; page states 8–13%, 10% recommended, add 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C, cure minimum 48 hours and ideally one to two weeks before burn testing. Golden Aluminium Tin Container pack of 12 ₹360 (₹30 each), page states a fill capacity of approximately 85 g of wax with a lid included. Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 20 wicks ₹118, 100 wicks ₹590, 500 wicks ₹2,950 (₹5.90 each). Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100 (₹2.50 each). Order total ₹90,152 for 600 tins (₹150.25 each on whole packs); line-by-line per tin ₹152.28 with Lavender Cranberry Coconut and ₹148.03 with Juicy Orange, fragrance 44.6% and 43.1% of those. Approval batch: 12 tins ₹360, 100g of each oil ₹799 + ₹749, 1 kg of wax ₹599, 20 wicks ₹118, one sheet of stickers ₹100 = ₹2,725, which is 3.0% of ₹90,152; twelve tins consume 918 g of wax and 51 g of each oil. Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilo gives ₹38.82 of wax per tin, ₹4,242 less across 600 tins. One kilo of oil pours 117 tins at 8.5 g. Fragrance load is calculated as a share of the finished candle (85 g at 10% = 76.5 g wax + 8.5 g oil); several of these pages express their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead. The 600-tin run size, the two-scent split, the six-samples-per-scent approval batch and the 5% handling allowance are this guide's planning assumptions, not CSI figures. 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed on all 107 listings; no volume discount schedule, minimum order quantity, trade price list, delivery time, courier or shipping rate is published. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, expiry or storage instruction. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026. Cure of 14–21 days for soy containers is standard practice, not a CSI specification. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
