"I have been using this melter for about 9 months now and it is simply the best. In terms of melting time, 10 kgs of wax melts in mere 20-30 minutes, the funnel is soo good, the wax is never stuck.… I do not have to worry about temperatures at all, since the temperature knob does everything for me."

Quick answers — read this first
Which soy wax is best for commercial candle production? Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464: a flat ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg to 10 kg, 1,464.5 kg in stock on 11 September 2026, 10 kg bags that fill a 10 kg melter, up to 10% fragrance and a 60-month stated shelf life.

Is soy wax cheaper per kg in bigger packs? Only on two grades: CSI 468 drops to ₹637.00/kg at 5 and 10 kg, and Natural Soy Pearl to ₹424.80/kg from 5 kg. CSI 464, Chunks, Eco Soy CSI 400 and Soy Pillar Wax have no volume break.

What is the cheapest soy wax for production? Eco Soy CSI 400 at ₹399.00/kg, saving ₹10,820.00 per 100 kg against CSI 464 — but its ceiling is not published and its largest pack is 5 kg.

When should Diwali 2026 production candles be poured? By about mid-October. Diwali is 8 November 2026, and a 14–21 day cure plus courier time needs that margin. Corporate orders due earlier should be poured in the first week of October.
The short answer
Standardise on: CSI 464 — ₹50,740.00 per 100 kg, 1,464.5 kg in stock, one 10 kg bag per 10 kg melter load.
Cheaper or more premium lines: Eco Soy CSI 400 saves ₹10,820.00 per 100 kg (confirm the ceiling); CSI 468 costs ₹12,960.00 more with a real 5 kg price break.
Before any festive order: confirm stock in writing — Chunks had 215 kg, CSI 468 178 kg and Natural Soy Pearl 139 kg across every pack.

Straight answer
Which soy wax is best for commercial candle production in India?
For a commercial container line, standardise on Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464: it costs a flat ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg to 10 kg (₹50,740.00 per 100 kg), had 1,464.5 kg in stock across its packs on 11 September 2026, comes in 10 kg bags that fill a 10 kg melter in one load, publishes up to 10% fragrance and states a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. Choose Eco Soy CSI 400 for price-led lines — ₹10,820.00 less per 100 kg — once CSI confirms its unpublished fragrance ceiling in writing. Choose Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 for premium coconut-soy lines: ₹12,960.00 more per 100 kg but one of only two soy-family grades with a real volume break (₹637.00/kg at 5 and 10 kg), with 178 kg in stock. Pillar production belongs on Soy Pillar Wax (₹600.00/kg, 1,092.5 kg). Chunks and Natural Soy Pearl work at volume but had 215 kg and 139 kg in stock, so confirm quantities before a festive order. For Diwali on 8 November 2026, finish production pours by about mid-October.
One line: Run a commercial container line on CSI 464 for its flat price, deep stock and 10 kg melter fit; confirm stock in writing before any festive order on a thinner grade.
Production default: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹507.40/kg in 10 kg bags, with 1,464.5 kg across all packs on 11 September 2026 · above 10 kg in one consignment, ask on WhatsApp.

The production verdict: which soy wax to standardise on

At hobby scale you choose a wax for how one candle turns out. At production scale you choose it for whether the hundredth kilo behaves like the first — and whether the hundredth kilo exists.

Commercial production changes the question. A studio pouring 2 kg on a Sunday can swap waxes on a whim and absorb the odd wasted batch. A workshop melting 10 kg at a time for Diwali hampers, a wedding favour order or a café chain’s monthly refill cannot. At that scale four things decide the grade: whether the per-kilo price falls as the packs get bigger, how many kilos of that grade are actually in stock, whether the pack size matches the melter, and whether the product page publishes enough working figures to write a production sheet around. Finish and throw still matter, but they are settled in the test batch — the four production tests are what stop a run from stalling in the second week of October.

On those four tests, Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is the soy wax to standardise a commercial container line on. It is not the cheapest per kilo and it does not carry the highest published fragrance ceiling. It wins because it had 1,464.5 kg in stock across its packs on 11 September 2026 — 96 bags of 10 kg alone — at a flat ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg to 10 kg, in a 10 kg bag that fills a 10 kg melter exactly, with a published ceiling of up to 10% and a stated 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. No other container soy grade on the store comes close on stock depth.

Priced and counted above: live per-kg rates and stock on 11 September 2026, taxes included. Kg in stock adds every pack of a grade together (for example CSI 464: 93 × 500 g, 68 × 1 kg, 78 × 5 kg and 96 × 10 kg). Stock is a snapshot, not a promise — it changes with every order.

Read the table from the right-hand column back. Two grades are ruled out of production immediately: Premium Coconut Soy Wax and Soy Butter Wax top out at 1 kg bags, which means opening ten bags to fill one 10 kg melter load and paying ₹920.00 and ₹1,097.40 a kilo for the privilege. That is fine for a boutique line of forty candles and unworkable for four hundred. The other six can all run at volume, but only two of them — CSI 464 and Soy Pillar Wax — had more than a tonne in stock between their packs, and Soy Pillar Wax is built to release from moulds, not to grip a jar.

Per-kg price ladders: where the breaks exist and where they do not

The biggest bag is not automatically the cheapest kilo. On two soy grades it costs more.

Most buyers carry an assumption from groceries into wax: buy the larger pack, pay less per kilo. On CSI’s soy range that is true for exactly two grades, meaningless for three, and backwards for two. Before you size a production order, look at the ladder for the grade you actually pour — the saving you are counting on may not exist, and the one you are ignoring may be worth more than you think.

The two grades where volume pays

Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 drops from ₹650.00 to ₹637.00 a kilo at the 5 kg pack. One 10 kg bag at ₹6,370.00 saves ₹130.00 against ten 1 kg bags, which is ₹1,300.00 per 100 kg of production. Natural Soy Pearl Wax falls further, from ₹450.00 to ₹424.80, and its 50 kg bag at ₹21,240.00 saves ₹1,260.00 against fifty 1 kg bags — ₹2,520.00 per 100 kg. Notice what does not happen: the 50 kg Pearl bag is no cheaper per kilo than the 5 kg bag. Its value is fewer bags to open and one delivery instead of ten, not a lower rate.

The grades where volume is only convenience

CSI 464 costs ₹507.40 a kilo whether you buy one kilo or a 10 kg bag. For production that is quietly useful: your costing sheet never changes with order size, and a slow month when you buy 5 kg instead of 10 kg does not push the cost of every candle up. Soy Pillar Wax is flat at ₹600.00 throughout. Buy the pack that matches your melter and storage, not the one you hope is discounted.

The two ladders that run backwards, slightly

The Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 10 kg bag at ₹5,999.00 is ₹9.00 dearer than two 5 kg bags at ₹2,995.00 each, and the Eco Soy CSI 400 5 kg bag at ₹1,996.00 is ₹1.00 dearer than five 1 kg bags. These are tiny amounts on a 100 kg run — but they prove the point that pack size on these grades is a handling choice. If the 5 kg Chunks bag suits your shelf better, it is also the cheapest way to buy them.

Price above 10 kg is a conversation, not a table

CSI publishes per-pack prices up to 10 kg on most soy grades and up to 50 kg on Natural Soy Pearl. It does not publish a lower rate for larger consignments. Cost your production on the published per-kg rate, then message WhatsApp with the grade, total kilos and pincode for a written quote. If a better number comes back, it is margin; if it does not, your costing already holds.

Choosing a grade for its bulk discount before checking the ladder. A maker who assumes the Chunks 10 kg bag is the “bulk rate” pays ₹599.90 a kilo against ₹599.00 on 5 kg bags, and a maker who switches from CSI 464 to Chunks expecting volume savings finds none at any size. Fix: price the exact pack combination you will order, per kilo, before the grade decision — the ladder table above does it for you.

Stock depth: the number that decides a festive run

A wax that sells out in week two of your pour is not a production wax, however good the candles were in week one.

Hobby buyers never think about how much of a wax their supplier holds. Commercial buyers must, because a run that is 70% poured when the grade runs out leaves two bad options: stop and wait, or finish the collection on a different wax and accept that two batches of the same candle will burn, look and throw differently. Customers who buy the same scent twice notice. The table below is the stock snapshot by pack for the grades that can run at volume.

Units in stock by pack · 11 September 2026
Stock depth of the production-capable soy grades
Grade 500 g 1 kg 5 kg 10 kg 50 kg Total kg Largest run from one pack size
CSI 464 93 68 78 96 1,464.5 960 kg in 10 kg bags
Soy Pillar Wax 975 50 93 9 1,092.5 465 kg in 5 kg bags
Chunks 56 42 13 8 215 80 kg in 10 kg bags
CSI 468 96 20 8 7 178 70 kg in 10 kg bags
Eco Soy CSI 400 30 29 175 145 kg in 5 kg bags
Natural Soy Pearl 29 6 3 1 139 One 50 kg bag

Three readings matter. First, CSI 464 alone could supply a 150 kg run from its 10 kg bags 6 times over at the time of the snapshot. Second, Chunks and CSI 468 had 215 kg and 178 kg across every pack — a single 150 kg order of either would take most or all of it, and the 10 kg bags alone (8 and 7 units) cover only 80 kg and 70 kg. Third, Natural Soy Pearl had 139 kg in total, of which 50 kg was a single bag: its per-kilo price is attractive, but a production line built on it is one other customer’s order away from a gap.

The CSI principle
Price per kilo is the tie-breaker. Kilos in stock are the decision.
CSI 464 at ₹507.40/kg with 1,464.5 kg in stock outranks Natural Soy Pearl at ₹424.80/kg with 139 kg for any run you cannot afford to interrupt.

None of this means the thinner grades are poor waxes. It means a commercial buyer treats stock as part of the specification. Stock also moves in both directions — a grade that is thin today may be replenished next week — which is why the right habit is a stock confirmation on WhatsApp before any order you would struggle to finish, rather than a permanent rule against a grade.

Planning a 150 kg festive collection on a grade with 178 kg in stock, then ordering in two halves. The first half arrives, pouring starts, and the second order finds the 10 kg and 5 kg bags gone; the maker finishes on 1 kg and 500 g bags at ₹650.00 instead of ₹637.00, or on a different wax. Fix: confirm the full quantity in stock before the first pour, order it in one consignment, and keep a written record of the confirmation.

What 100 kg costs on each grade — and what the difference buys

At production scale a ₹91.60 difference per kilo stops being a rounding error and starts being a wage.

Per-kilo differences that feel trivial on a 1 kg order are large at volume. The table prices 100 kg of each production-capable grade at its best published pack combination, then shows the same wax as the cost of one candle on this series’ standard unit — 200 g of wax plus 16 g of fragrance oil at 8% of wax weight (216 g poured) — using Fallen Leaves fragrance oil at ₹4,248.00 per kg (its page recommends 6–10% for candles) and one Eco Candle Wick Thin (C1) at ₹5.90. Jars, labels, boxes, freight and labour are excluded.

CSI 468 10 × 10 kg ₹63,700.00 ₹12,960.00 more ₹127.40 ₹201.27
Priced above: pack prices from the ladder table; Fallen Leaves Fragrance Oil 1 kg ₹4,248.00 (₹4.25/g, so 16 g = ₹67.97); Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) ₹5.90 each at the 100, 500 and 1,000 packs. The Chunks 100 kg figure uses the 5 kg rate even though only 13 × 5 kg bags were in stock, to show the price rather than the availability. Illustrative production costing, not a quote.

The spread between the cheapest and the dearest production grade is ₹23,780.00 per 100 kg of wax. Against CSI 464, Eco Soy CSI 400 saves ₹10,820.00 per 100 kg, and Chunks costs ₹9,160.00 more. Those are real numbers for a workshop running a few hundred kilos a season. They are also the reason the next paragraph matters.

At volume, the oil bill runs close behind the wax bill

On 100 kg of wax at an 8% load you pour 8 kg of fragrance oil. At the ₹4,248.00 1 kg price of Fallen Leaves that is ₹33,984.00; at 10% it is ₹42,480.00. With CSI 464 at ₹50,740.00 per 100 kg, oil is roughly 40% of the wax-plus-oil bill even at 8%. Every single percentage point of load on 100 kg of wax is another 1 kg of oil — another ₹4,248.00 — which means the ₹9,160.00 extra that Chunks costs per 100 kg is a little more than the price of two load points of this oil.

That arithmetic is the honest case against paying for fragrance headroom you will not use. Chunks and CSI 468 publish ceilings of up to 13%; CSI 464 publishes up to 10%. Fallen Leaves recommends 6–10% for candles, and most CSI oil pages that give a soy figure stop at 10%. When the oil’s own ceiling is 10%, the lower ceiling governs and the 13% grades cannot use their extra three points — so on a commercial line built on 10%-capped oils, the premium buys nothing measurable. If your bestsellers are among the few oils that allow more, the premium may be worth it; test the scent at the higher load first and cost it before you commit the season.

Melter capacity and pack size: match the bag to the load

Every bag you open, weigh out and fold shut is a minute of labour and a chance for damp to get in. Pack size is a process decision.

The melter sets the rhythm of a production day, and the wax pack either fits that rhythm or fights it. CSI sells three electric options relevant to soy production. The Mini Electric Wax Melter at ₹2,360.00 holds 1 litre — a little under a kilo of melted soy wax, because liquid wax is lighter than water — which suits sampling and small top-up batches. The imported Electric Wax Melter comes in a 10 kgs capacity model at ₹21,240.00 (13 in stock) and a 20 kgs capacity model at ₹25,960.00, of which only 1 unit was in stock on 11 September 2026. Its page says it can melt 10 kg of soy wax in approximately 30 minutes and gives a temperature display range of 60°C to 100°C.

Bags opened per melter load
How each grade’s largest pack fits a 10 kg and a 20 kg melter
Grade · largest pack Bags per 10 kg load Bags per 20 kg load Bags for 100 kg Handling verdict
CSI 464 · 10 kg 1 2 10 One bag, one load — the cleanest fit
CSI 468 · 10 kg 1 2 10 Same fit, but stock limits the count
Chunks · 5 or 10 kg 1–2 2–4 10–20 5 kg bags are cheaper and still workable
Soy Pillar Wax · 10 kg 1 2 10 Deepest 5 kg stock if 10 kg bags run short
Eco Soy CSI 400 · 5 kg 2 4 20 Twice the bag handling of a 10 kg grade
Natural Soy Pearl · 50 kg Part of 1 Part of 1 1 bag + top-ups Needs decanting and resealing between loads
Premium Coconut Soy / Soy Butter · 1 kg 10 20 100 Impractical at production scale

The 10 kg bag and the 10 kg melter are a natural pair: one bag in, one load melted, no half-open bag sitting on the floor through a Chennai afternoon. Grades that top out at 5 kg double the handling; the 50 kg Pearl bag reverses the problem, because you must decant it into sealed containers and reseal it after each load or the open bag takes on moisture over the week. Reviewer Sonal Sahani, who uses the imported melter, reports that “10 kgs of wax melts in mere 20-30 minutes” — one user’s experience, consistent with the page’s approximate 30 minutes.

10 kg or 20 kg melter?

The 20 kg model costs ₹4,720.00 more than the 10 kg model for twice the capacity — ₹1,298.00 per kilo of capacity against ₹2,124.00. On paper the larger unit is better value per kilo melted. In practice, with one unit in stock, it cannot be the plan for a festive season that starts in three weeks; and many workshops find two 10 kg loads staggered through the day easier to pour at the right temperature than one 20 kg load cooling while the last jars are filled. Treat the 20 kg unit as an opportunity if it is available when you need it, not as a dependency. For a home studio moving from a Mini Melter to production, the comparison of methods in double boiler vs electric wax melter covers the step before this one.

Running CSI 468 and a container soy through the same melter settings. CSI 464’s page gives 80–90°C as the working range for melting and pouring; CSI 468 publishes a melting point of 50–53°C and a pour of 58–60°C, which sits at or below the bottom of the imported melter’s 60–100°C display range. A line that switches grades mid-day without resetting pours CSI 468 far too hot. Fix: dedicate one melter per grade on production days, or pour CSI 468 into a steel pouring pitcher (₹708.00 for 600 ml) and bring it down to 58–60°C on a pen thermometer (₹354.00) before it touches a jar.

The production shortlist, grade by grade

Four soy waxes can carry a commercial line. Each is best at a different kind of line.
1
Container soy · production default
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464

100% soy flakes sold for single-pour container candles, with a published ceiling of up to 10%, a working range of 80–90°C for melting and pouring on the product page, and a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. For production it has three advantages no other container soy grade matched on 11 September 2026: the deepest stock (1,464.5 kg), a flat ₹507.40/kg from 1 kg to 10 kg so costing never shifts with order size, and a 10 kg bag that fills a 10 kg melter in one go. The long shelf life also means a September purchase for a November-to-February season is not a race against the calendar, provided the storage is genuinely cool and dry.

Weak spot: 10% is its maximum. If your bestseller’s oil page allows 12% and you want to use it, this is the wrong base for that candle.

2
Container soy · price-led lines
Eco Soy CSI 400

100% soy chunks, produced in India, sold for container candles that often set in one pour and — per the page — need no additives. Add fragrance at 85°C (80–90°C), stir gently for 2 minutes and pour directly. At ₹399.00/kg it is the cheapest soy wax on the store and saves ₹10,820.00 per 100 kg against CSI 464. That is the right wax for a price-led line — temple-town gift shops, wholesale diyas-and-jars hampers, corporate orders priced to the rupee.

Weak spots: the fragrance ceiling is not published, so ask CSI for it in writing on WhatsApp before you set a production load; the largest pack is 5 kg, which doubles bag handling; and 175 kg in stock is enough for one mid-sized run, not a season.

3
Coconut-soy blend · premium lines
Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468

A coconut-soy blend in flakes for one-pour container candles, with the most complete technical sheet of the blends: melting point 50–53°C, pour 58–60°C, up to 13% fragrance and a 60-month shelf life. It is also one of only two soy-family grades with a genuine volume break, to ₹637.00/kg at 5 and 10 kg. For a premium or wellness line priced well above the mass market, the extra ₹12,960.00 per 100 kg over CSI 464 is a small share of the retail price.

Weak spots: 178 kg in stock across all packs, so confirm quantity before every festive order; the low melting point deserves a heat-transit trial before summer dispatch; and the low pour temperature needs its own melter settings.

Pillar soy · moulded production
Soy Pillar Wax

Soy chunks sold specifically for pillar and designer candles, with a smooth, creamy finish and mould release described on the page. For a workshop producing moulded pillars, carved designer candles or wedding décor sets, it is the only soy grade to consider — container waxes are formulated to cling to the vessel, which is the opposite of what a mould needs. Stock is deep (1,092.5 kg, including 93 × 5 kg bags) and the price is flat at ₹600.00/kg. It carries five 5-star reviews, the most of any CSI wax.

Weak spots: no fragrance ceiling or temperatures published, so your production sheet has to be built from your own tests and a WhatsApp confirmation; and it does not belong in jars.

Why the others are not on the list. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is an excellent container wax with the fullest published method and a 13% ceiling, but at ₹599.00/kg with no volume break and 215 kg in stock it is better as the base for a headroom-dependent sub-range than for a whole commercial line. Natural Soy Pearl Wax has the lowest price among the larger packs and the only 50 kg bag, but no published working figures and 139 kg in stock. Premium Coconut Soy Wax and Soy Butter Wax stop at 1 kg. Soy Wax 464 Pellets are currently out of stock; if an older production sheet is built on the pellets, re-test the formula on another grade before the festive run rather than waiting.

Planning the festive run back from 8 November 2026

Diwali does not move. Everything else in the plan has to.

Diwali falls on 8 November 2026. For soy container candles, a 14–21 day cure is standard practice before selling, and the Chunks page itself says a minimum of 48 hours and ideally 1–2 weeks before burn testing. Add courier time to customers across India and production pours should be finished by about mid-October. Today is 11 September 2026, so the whole season — decision, test, order, pour, cure and dispatch — fits into eight weeks. The timeline below is illustrative; move every step earlier for corporate gifting orders that must land on desks before the festival week.

What it shows: an illustrative production calendar for a soy container run, working back from Diwali on 8 November 2026 with a 14–21 day cure. Deliberately left out: courier transit times (they vary by pincode and are not promised here), label and packaging lead times, and wick testing, which should already be settled for existing jar sizes.

The single most useful rule in that calendar is the one that is not drawn on it: do not change your wax grade for the Diwali run unless you have already tested the new one. A wax switch in September means new pour temperatures, possibly new wick sizes and a fresh cure test — three weeks of certainty you do not have. If a cheaper or deeper-stocked grade looks better on this page, test it now in a handful of jars and move production to it after the festive season, when a surprise costs you a weekend rather than a quarter.

Worked example: a 150 kg Diwali run in Surat

1
Fix the quantity in kilos, not candles. A Surat studio supplying hampers and its own Instagram store plans 150 kg of wax for the season on its existing 200 g jar formula at 8%. That is 12 kg of Fallen Leaves oil. The formula is already proven on CSI 464, so the grade does not change. Illustrative figures; add your own spillage allowance.
2
Check stock before price. CSI 464 had 96 × 10 kg bags on 11 September 2026: fifteen are needed. Chunks could only reach 150 kg by combining all 8 × 10 kg bags, all 13 × 5 kg bags and five 1 kg bags; CSI 468 would need every 10 kg and 5 kg bag plus twenty 1 kg bags (₹83,070.00). The studio messages CSI on WhatsApp to confirm fifteen 10 kg bags of CSI 464 and a delivery quote to its pincode.
3
Price the real order. Fifteen 10 kg bags of CSI 464 = ₹76,110.00. Twelve 1 kg packs of Fallen Leaves = ₹50,976.00. One 1,000-pack of C1 wicks = ₹5,900.00, leaving spares for the new year. Total ₹1,32,986.00 before jars, packaging and freight. The same wax quantity on the Chunks combination above would cost ₹89,922.00 — ₹13,812.00 more — and use up nearly all the stock of that grade. Eco Soy CSI 400 could just about cover it — all 29 × 5 kg bags plus five 1 kg bags for ₹59,879.00, ₹16,231.00 less — but that is 86% of its stock, on a grade the studio has never tested at its load.
4
Schedule the melter, not just the calendar. With one 10 kg melter, 150 kg is fifteen loads — one bag per load. Two loads a day across the first eight working days of October finishes pouring by about the 10th, leaves slack for a power cut or a bad batch, and every candle reaches 21 days of cure by the end of October. Dispatch goes out in pour order, oldest first, from about 22 October.

By this date What should be done Why
18 September Grade decided on existing test results; trial packs ordered only for genuinely new products A new grade needs a full test cycle before production

Oil planning runs on the same clock, and at 150 kg it is the bigger cheque. How early to order fragrance oils for Diwali and fragrance oils for festive bulk orders cover that side; the post on the 12-month candle business calendar shows how the Diwali run fits a year of production.

Indian production realities: heat, monsoon, freight and GST

A wax specification describes the wax. Your godown, your courier and your accountant describe the business.

Summer production and dispatch. Workshops in Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Delhi routinely work in rooms above 35°C from April to June, and parcels sit in hotter delivery vans. None of CSI’s soy grades publishes a heat or transit rating. CSI 468 publishes a melting point of 50–53°C, so a coconut-soy line shipping in May needs a trial parcel in its real packaging before the season; container soy grades without a published melting point need the same trial, not an assumption. For production planning, the practical consequence is that the Diwali and wedding seasons are the easy months — the hard test comes with the summer gifting range.

Monsoon storage of production stock. A 150 kg order is fifteen bags on the floor of a Mumbai or Kochi workshop for six weeks. The CSI 464 page says to store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture; the CSI 468 page adds “keep sealed when not in use”. Keep bags off the floor on pallets or shelving, away from exterior walls, and close every opened bag the moment a load is weighed out. The 60-month shelf life on both pages assumes exactly that storage.

Freight on heavy orders. Two real reviews on CSI soy grades raise delivery charges. Dipali Sable, reviewing Soy Pillar Wax, writes “Hope to get some discount in future for bulk buys”, and another reviewer calls the shipment charges “too higb”. That is fair feedback, and it matters more at production scale, because freight on 150 kg is a real line in the costing. CSI does not publish shipping rates or bulk discounts, so ask for a delivery quote to your pincode on WhatsApp and put it in the cost per candle before you set a wholesale price. One consolidated order of wax, oil and wicks is usually easier to quote than several small ones.

GST and documentation. CSI’s prices include taxes, and GST invoicing is available — useful if your business is GST-registered, where a proper invoice supports your input tax credit (confirm the treatment with your accountant). MSDS and IFRA documentation are available on request via WhatsApp; some hamper companies and corporate buyers ask for them before placing a large order, so request them at the start of the season rather than the week a buyer asks.

Power and pace. Load-shedding and voltage drops are still part of production life in many tier-2 and tier-3 towns. A partly melted 10 kg load that cools and remelts is not usually ruined, but it costs time, and the fragrance should go in only once the remelted load is back in the published add range. Plan two loads a day rather than four, so an outage costs a load rather than a day. Pricing that production reliably is covered in the candle pricing formula for India.

A festive run is only as large as the smallest thing you can reorder.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia
Buying the festive wax in July to “lock in stock”, then storing it beside the loading door. Bags that sit through the monsoon in a humid, unsealed corner can pick up moisture that spits in the melter and pits candle tops, which is expensive to discover on pour day one. Fix: a 60-month shelf life means early buying is safe only if the storage matches the page — sealed, dry, off the floor, out of sunlight. If it cannot, buy closer to the pour and confirm stock in writing instead.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and sells every grade compared here. This page says plainly that CSI 464 and Chunks get no cheaper per kilo in bigger bags, that the Chunks 10 kg bag costs ₹9.00 more than two 5 kg bags, that Chunks, CSI 468, Eco Soy CSI 400 and Natural Soy Pearl each had under 220 kg in stock on the day of writing, that the 20 kg melter had one unit left, and that the extra headroom on our 13% waxes is wasted on oils capped at 10%.

Every price, per-kg rate and stock count comes from live CSI data on 11 September 2026, September 2026 pricing, taxes included; the linked product pages are authoritative if anything changes. Stock is a snapshot and moves daily. CSI publishes pack prices up to 10 kg (50 kg for Natural Soy Pearl) and no lower rate for larger consignments, shipping rates or delivery times — none of those is assumed here. Fragrance ceilings are the wax manufacturer’s stated formulation maximums, as a percentage of wax weight.

Message WhatsApp +91 7397976926 for stock confirmation on a production quantity, pricing above 10 kg, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation, delivery quotes to your pincode, or the unpublished fragrance ceiling for Eco Soy CSI 400.

Frequently asked questions

Does CSI give bulk discounts on soy wax above 10 kg?
No lower rate is published for consignments above the listed packs (10 kg on most soy grades, 50 kg on Natural Soy Pearl). Cost production at the published rate — ₹507.40/kg for CSI 464 — and ask on WhatsApp for a written quote for your quantity and pincode.
Is the 10 kg bag of soy wax cheaper per kg than the 1 kg bag?
Only for CSI 468 (₹650.00 to ₹637.00) and Natural Soy Pearl (₹450.00 to ₹424.80). CSI 464 and Soy Pillar Wax are flat, and the Chunks 10 kg bag costs ₹9.00 more than two 5 kg bags.
How much wax does a 10 kg electric melter take per load?
The imported Electric Wax Melter 10 kgs capacity model (₹21,240.00) takes one 10 kg bag per load; its page says it melts 10 kg of soy wax in approximately 30 minutes. At 200 g of wax per candle, one load is 50 candles.
Which soy wax has the most stock for a large order?
On 11 September 2026, CSI 464 had 1,464.5 kg across all packs, including 96 × 10 kg bags, followed by Soy Pillar Wax at 1,092.5 kg. Stock changes daily, so confirm on WhatsApp before a production order.
Should I change my soy wax before the Diwali rush?
Not unless you have already tested the new grade in your jars, at your load, through a full cure. A switch in September brings new temperatures, possibly new wicks and a new cure test. Test alternatives now and move production after the festive season.
How long does soy wax keep if I buy production stock early?
The CSI 464 and CSI 468 pages state a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. That assumes sealed bags, off the floor and out of sunlight and damp. Other grades do not publish a shelf life, so ask on WhatsApp before buying far ahead.
