A "wax melting machine" is a heated vessel that melts candle wax and holds it at a working temperature, so you are not balancing a pan inside another pan on a stove. That is all it is, and it is enough: melting evenly, holding temperature and freeing your hands are the three jobs a small business needs done. The table puts the three CSI machines side by side using only what each product page states. Where a page is silent, the table says "not stated" rather than filling the gap.

Three things in that table shape everything after it. First, only one melt time is stated anywhere, and it belongs to the 10 kg model; any time you see for the mini or the 20 kg size, including in this guide, is an assumption. Second, the mini's capacity is in litres, not grams, so "how many candles per load" is something you measure with your own wax, not something you can read off the page. Third, both temperature systems are bands, not readings — Gear I is "approximately" 70–85°C, and the large melter's display carries a stated ±10°C — which is why every recommendation below includes a thermometer in the wax.

What customers report — and what that does not prove

Reviews are useful evidence of how a machine fits into real benches. They are not specifications, and this guide keeps the two apart. Here is what CSI customers have written, and what each comment can and cannot tell a small business.

Read together, those reviews say something consistent. Small-business users value the mini for simplicity and holding heat, and the one limitation raised is capacity. The large-melter review is about speed on a full 10 kg. That maps neatly onto the decision: the mini solves the stove problem, and the large melter solves the reloading problem. The illustrative hours test

No page states how long the mini takes per load, so this test cannot give you a fact. It can give you a method and an honest illustration. The assumptions, all labelled and all replaceable: each mini load is 552g of wax, enough for three 200g candles; a full mini cycle — melt, scent in the jug, pour, reload — takes 20, 30 or 45 minutes, shown as three cases because your number is unknown; the 10 kg melter's melt is the page's stated approximately 30 minutes, used as an upper figure even for part-loads, whose time is not stated. Weighing, scenting and pouring per candle take the same time on either machine, so they cancel out and are left out. Cooling from 100°C to your add temperature is not stated either, and is left out of both.

How to read the last column: it is what the 10 kg melter's extra cost works out to per hour of melting you would no longer spend, in the first year alone. At 300 candles a month and 30-minute mini cycles, it is ₹32.78 an hour — for most businesses, a clear case for the bigger machine. At 50 candles a month, it is ₹196.67 an hour in year one, and the case is much weaker, especially since some of those "mini hours" are time you can spend prepping wicks and labels while the wax melts. The working: at 100 candles in four sessions of 25, each session is 9 mini loads (25 ÷ 3, rounded up); at 30 minutes that is 4.5 hours a session, 18 a month, against 2 hours on the 10 kg — 16 hours saved a month, 192 a year, and ₹18,880 ÷ 192 = ₹98.33.

Which melter for which session

Here is the decision reduced to a planning rule. It is based on the wax in a single session — candles × 184g for 200g candles at 8% — because that is what a melter has to hold or cycle through. It is a rule of thumb built on the stated capacities and the illustrative load above, not a manufacturer's recommendation.

Notice that the monthly total does not appear. A business pouring 200 candles a month in eight sessions of 25 and a business pouring 200 candles in two sessions of 100 need different machines, even though their wax orders are identical. Whichever machine arrives, the first session should produce numbers, not just candles. These five steps turn it into the calibration every later session relies on.

Power, warranty and what to ask before you buy

Only the mini states its power: 300W and 600W. The Electric Wax Melter's page states no wattage for either size, and this guide will not estimate one, nor an electricity cost for any machine. Before ordering a large melter, ask on WhatsApp for its power rating and plug type, and have the socket and wiring where it will sit checked by an electrician. That is standard caution for any heating appliance that will run for long sessions, not a comment on this one.

On warranty, the mini is clear: its title carries [1 Year Warranty] and its description states a 1-year limited warranty.
