Candle Business Guides · Visakhapatnam × Bulk Production
A Visakhapatnam festive programme does not run on one date. Dasara, Diwali on 8 November and then the whole of Karthika Masam is a three-month production window, and this guide turns a 3,600-votive commitment into kilograms, bottles, rupees and a reorder rule that never assumes a delivery date.
20.16 kg
of fragrance oil consumed by a quarter of 1,200 × 70 g votives a month — bought as 21 one-kilogram bottles, because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed, and poured with 231.84 kg of wax · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How much fragrance oil does a 3,600-candle festive quarter need? At 70 g a candle and an 8% load, 20.16 kg of oil and 231.84 kg of wax. One kilogram of oil covers 178 votives, so the buying unit is 7 bottles a month and 21 a quarter.

Is there a bulk pack above 1 kg? No. One kilogram is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists — there is no 5 kg or 10 kg bottle, and no bulk price is published for one. Multiply the listed kilo price for a ceiling, then ask for a quote on WhatsApp. Nothing here states what that quote will be.

What does one unit cost to make? ₹98.45 of consumed materials in a 70 g white matte votive on Cinnamon Vanilla — ₹25.51 oil, ₹32.68 wax, ₹31.86 jar, ₹5.90 wick, ₹2.50 sticker. Buying in whole packs, the monthly spend of ₹1,19,525.40 works out at ₹99.60 a unit.

How do I set a reorder point without a delivery date? In cover, never in days. CSI publishes no delivery window, so hold one month of oil as buffer — seven bottles — and reorder when the unopened count reaches it. A reorder rule built on an assumed transit time is a rule built on a number nobody gave you.
The short answer
Convert the commitment before you shop: units × finished weight × load is the only input that matters. Until a brief is in kilograms it cannot be priced, and until it is in bottles it cannot be ordered.
The 1 kg ceiling changes the unit, not the arithmetic: 20.16 kg is 21 bottles. Plan the handling — 21 caps, 21 labels, 21 part-used bottles — because that is the real cost of the ceiling, not the price.
At production scale the rung is a handling decision: on White Royal Oud the 100 g bottle is cheaper per gram than the kilo by ₹3 a kilogram. Nobody should open 67 bottles to save ₹20.

Bar length is kilograms of fragrance oil consumed per month. The useful thing about a 1 kg ceiling is that it forces you to plan in a unit you can actually count: bottles. Every run size above is a whole number of them, and the only question left is how many you hold spare. CSI live pricing and pack sizes, September 2026.
Straight answer
How does a Visakhapatnam business turn a festive commitment into a fragrance order?
By converting units into kilograms, kilograms into bottles, and then building the buffer in bottles rather than in days. Take the shape of a real coastal festive programme: 1,200 × 70 g votives a month across Dasara, Diwali on 8 November 2026 and the Karthika weeks that follow — 3,600 units. At an 8% load each votive is 64.4 g of wax and 5.6 g of oil, so the quarter consumes 20.16 kg of fragrance oil and 231.84 kg of wax. Because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, that is 21 bottles, and one bottle covers 178 votives. On Cinnamon Vanilla at the listed ₹4,554.80 a kilo, a month's seven bottles are ₹31,883.60; the wax, on Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, is ₹39,329.80 for 77.5 kg bought as seven 10 kg bags, seven 1 kg packs and a 500 g pack; 1,200 White Matte Votive Jars are ₹38,232; 1,200 Eco Candle Wicks are ₹7,080; and stickers are ₹3,000. A month is ₹1,19,525.40, or ₹99.60 a unit bought in whole packs against ₹98.45 of material actually consumed. Above one kilogram of a single scent there is no listed price at all: multiply the kilo figure for a ceiling, then ask for a quote on WhatsApp with the kilograms and the cadence. And because no delivery window, courier or rate is published, the reorder rule is stated in stock rather than time — hold one month of oil unopened and reorder when you reach it.
One line: 3,600 votives is 20.16 kg of oil and 21 bottles — plan in bottles, buffer in bottles, and never in days you were not given.
Sizing a festive run? Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80 a kilo, Saffron Cedarwood at ₹2,584.20 for 500 g and White Royal Oud at ₹8,103 a kilo — with 86 of 105 listings in stock at the 1 kg rung.

From a festive commitment to kilograms

A buyer says "three thousand six hundred, before Karthika". Nothing in that sentence is purchasable until you have turned it into weight.

The commitment a Visakhapatnam business actually takes on is unusual in one respect, and it is worth being explicit about it because it changes the arithmetic. Most Indian festive production is sized for a single date. Here the run has three peaks in a row: Dasara in the autumn, Diwali on 8 November 2026, and then Karthika Masam, the Telugu lamp month that begins immediately after Diwali and keeps small-votive demand alive for weeks. A programme sized for 8 November alone is a programme that runs out in the middle of its best selling stretch.

So the planning unit is a quarter, not an event, and the conversion is four lines of arithmetic. Load is a share of the finished candle, which is the convention used throughout this series, so a 70 g votive at 8% is 64.4 g of wax and 5.6 g of oil. Multiply: 1,200 units a month is 6.72 kg of oil and 77.28 kg of wax; three months is 20.16 kg and 231.84 kg. One 1 kg bottle covers 178 votives — 1,000 divided by 5.6, rounded down, which is the only honest way to round when you are short of oil rather than of wax.

The mistake: quoting the account before you have priced the glass. In the month costed below, the jar is ₹31.86 and the fragrance is ₹25.51 — the container is the single largest line in a 70 g votive, larger than the oil and almost as large as the wax. At 3,600 units it is ₹1,14,696, and a business that quoted a gift-shop buyer from a remembered fragrance price will be roughly a third short before labour, labels, cartons, breakage or margin. Cost every line to the unit, then add your allowance, then quote. There is also a planning allowance most first production runs forget: three to five per cent of wax for spills, top-ups and rejects, which on 231.84 kg is seven to twelve kilos.

Four run sizes, and what each consumes

The table below is the same arithmetic at four scales, with the listed packs that actually supply each one. Read the wax column carefully: because fragrance stops at 1 kg while wax runs to 10 kg bags, the two shopping lists have completely different shapes, and the wax is where the packing decisions live.

Monthly run sizes · 70 g votives at an 8% load · CSI live pricing, September 2026
What each run consumes, which listed packs supply it, and what the fragrance costs
Units a month Oil Bottles (1 kg) Wax Wax bought as Wax cost on CSI 464
300 1.68 kg 2 19.32 kg 1 × 10 kg + 9 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = 19.5 kg ₹9,900.60
600 3.36 kg 4 38.64 kg 3 × 10 kg + 9 × 1 kg = 39 kg ₹19,788.60
1,200 6.72 kg 7 77.28 kg 7 × 10 kg + 7 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g = 77.5 kg ₹39,329.80
2,400 13.44 kg 14 154.56 kg 15 × 10 kg + 5 × 1 kg = 155 kg ₹78,647
3,600 (one quarter at 1,200) 20.16 kg 21 231.84 kg 23 × 10 kg + 2 × 1 kg = 232 kg ₹1,17,716.80
Worked out above: a 70 g votive at an 8% load is 64.4 g wax + 5.6 g oil. Oil per month = units × 5.6 g; wax per month = units × 64.4 g. Bottles = oil ÷ 1,000 g, rounded up, because 1 kg is the largest listed fragrance pack. Wax costs use Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at its listed ₹5,074 for 10 kg, ₹507.40 for 1 kg and ₹260 for 500 g — a flat ₹507.40 a kilogram at 1 kg and above, with the 500 g pack dearer at ₹520 a kilogram. 300 units: ₹5,074 + 9 × ₹507.40 + ₹260 = ₹9,900.60. 600 units: ₹15,222 + 9 × ₹507.40 = ₹19,788.60. 1,200 units: 7 × ₹5,074 + 7 × ₹507.40 + ₹260 = ₹39,329.80. 2,400 units: 15 × ₹5,074 + 5 × ₹507.40 = ₹78,647. Quarter: 23 × ₹5,074 + 2 × ₹507.40 = ₹1,17,716.80.
One percentage point is worth more than any quote you will be offered
At 3,600 votives, moving the load from 8% to 7% saves 2.52 kg of oil — on Cinnamon Vanilla that is about ₹11,478 — and adds the same weight back as wax, which costs about ₹1,279. The net is roughly ten thousand rupees on one quarter, from a decision made on a batch sheet. That is why the load is a tested number and not a habit: Mint Sandalwood's page says to start at 7%, and if a cured 70 g votive at 7% throws as well as one at 8% in your jar, the whole run just got cheaper than any negotiation could make it. The reasoning is in can too much fragrance oil make a candle smell weaker.

The 1 kg ceiling at twenty kilos

One kilogram is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists. That is a fact about the catalogue, not a policy about volume, and it has three consequences a production buyer should plan for rather than complain about.

The first is handling. Twenty-one bottles across a quarter means twenty-one caps, twenty-one labels to reconcile and — if you are not careful — twenty-one part-used bottles at the end. Decide in advance that a bottle is opened only when the previous one is empty, and that the run's batch sheet records which bottle each batch came from. The second is cash rhythm: bottles are a natural instalment, so a quarter's oil can be bought in three monthly tranches of seven rather than one lump, which matters more to a small business than a hypothetical bulk rate would.

The third is the one that surprises people: at this scale the rung is a handling decision, not a price one. On White Royal Oud the 100 g bottle is the cheapest per gram in the whole ladder at ₹8.10, against ₹8.102 for 500 g and ₹8.103 for the kilo — a difference of ₹3 a kilogram. Buying 6.7 kg as sixty-seven 100 g bottles would save about twenty rupees and cost you an afternoon. Meanwhile on Saffron Cedarwood the gap runs the other way and is not rounding at all: 500 g lists at ₹2,584.20 and 1 kg at ₹6,867.60, so two 500 g packs cost ₹5,168.40 against ₹6,867.60 for the kilo. Read the column on the page for every oil in the run, every time you reorder, because the product page is the authority and listed prices change.

Four oils that survive a production brief

A scent that is lovely in a test jar and vague on its product page is a liability at 3,600 units, because at that scale you need to be able to answer a buyer's questions in writing. These four are chosen for what their pages state, for the four registers a coastal festive programme sells into, and for four genuinely different ladder shapes.

1
Festive gourmand · the run oil costed below
Cinnamon Vanilla
The natural anchor for a Dasara-to-Karthika programme, and the most production-friendly page of the four. It states up to 13% of total wax weight with advice to start at 8–10% and work upward, a measured flash point of 270°F, phthalate-free, notes of cinnamon and clove over vanilla bean and sugar — and, critically for a run, vanillin content 2.5% with an explicit statement that this means a moderate risk of discolouration or yellowing in light-coloured wax over time, and advice to plan for it by using a darker wax. Take that instruction literally and it stops being a defect: pour it into an opaque vessel like the White Matte Votive Jar and the wax colour is never on display in the first place. Its kilo is also a real saving — ₹4,554.80 against ₹4,602 for two 500 g packs.

Premium gifting · for the corporate enquiry season
White Royal Oud
Visakhapatnam's corporate gifting demand comes out of port services, steel, pharma and the IT campuses, and it arrives as an enquiry weeks before it becomes an order. This is the oil for that tier. The page states 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts, with 6–7% for a refined, hotel-lobby warmth in the background and 9–10% for something more pronounced — a rare piece of published dosing guidance you can actually quote to a buyer. Notes are bergamot and saffron over white oud, rose petals and labdanum. Its ladder is the flattest in this group: ₹8.10 a gram at 100 g, ₹8.102 at 500 g, ₹8.103 at 1 kg. At a gifting price point the 6–7% option is worth testing before you commit the run, because one point of load on 3,600 units is real money.

Indian luxury · and the one ladder to read twice
Saffron Cedarwood
A saffron-and-wood register sits naturally in an Andhra festive range, and this page publishes a full pyramid: citrus and cardamom on top, palo santo, saffron and violet at the heart, wood, sandalwood, smoke and amber at the base. What it does not publish is a candle percentage — it is one of 26 listings that state none — so the wax page's ceiling is the only one you have, and a first run should sit at 8% and be logged. The commercial point is the ladder: 500 g at ₹2,584.20 is ₹5,168.40 a kilogram, while the 1 kg bottle lists at ₹6,867.60. For a 6.72 kg month that is ₹36,178.80 in fourteen 500 g packs against ₹48,073.20 in seven kilos. Check the page before every reorder, because this is exactly the kind of figure that changes.

Clean and cool · the register that sells all year
Mint Sandalwood
Every festive range needs one line that does not go out of season on 1 December, and a cool mint over sandalwood is that line in a city with no real winter. The page states a load of 7–10% in soy, paraffin or blended wax, starting at 7%, a cure of 48–72 hours, notes of mint, eucalyptus and bergamot at the top, and that moderate discoloration is possible — so treat it like the gourmand and use an opaque or coloured vessel if your wax is white. On flash point it gives only the shared threshold line, "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which is a category statement about alcohol formats and not a measured value: if you need a number for a documentation pack, request the SDS. Note also that this listing has no 15 g and no 500 g rung — the ladder is 50 g, 100 g, 1 kg — so there is no half-kilo step to hide in.

The CSI principle
At production scale the cheapest thing left to change is the load, and the next cheapest is the jar. The fragrance price is the one number nobody is going to move for you.
One percentage point on 3,600 votives is worth more than any rate you could ask for, and it is decided by a cured burn test rather than a conversation. Test the load, then order the bottles.

One month, line by line

Twelve hundred 70 g votives on Cinnamon Vanilla, in an opaque white matte jar chosen precisely because that oil states a moderate discolouration risk. Two figures come out of it: what the month consumes, and what the month costs once you can only buy whole packs. The gap between them is the number most production plans forget.

Look at the order of the lines. The jar and the wax together are ₹64.54, roughly two-thirds of the unit; the fragrance is ₹25.51, about a quarter. Every instinct in a candle business points at the fragrance line, because it is the one you chose and the one you care about. The two lines above it are where the money actually is, and they are also where the coast has an opinion, which is the subject of the last section.

The wax is a pallet decision, not a top-up. At 1,200 units a month you need 77.28 kg — that is seven 10 kg bags plus change, every month, and 232 kg over the quarter. The largest listed soy pack is 10 kg on CSI 464 and CSI 468, and there is no 25 kg or 100 kg soy pack listed, so a quarter is twenty-three bags plus two kilos. Decide where twenty-three bags are going to sit before they arrive — off the floor, resealed, away from the fragrance shelf — because soy takes odour and a bag stored badly for eight weeks is an expensive lesson. For recurring wax volumes at this scale, ask for a quote rather than assuming the listed ladder is the last word.
At 232 kg a quarter the wax is the volume line: CSI 464 at ₹5,074 for 10 kg and CSI 468 stepping from ₹650 to ₹637 a kilogram at 5 kg and 10 kg. Fragrance stops at 1 kg — for recurring quantities above that, ask.

Reorder points without a delivery promise

Every textbook reorder point is built on a lead time, and there is no published lead time here. CSI states that it ships across India and nothing more: no delivery window, no courier, no rate. That is a genuine constraint and the honest response is not to invent a number — it is to express the whole policy in stock instead of time. Five steps, and every trigger below is a count of bottles or bags you can see on a shelf.

1
Define one unit of cover, in bottlesFor this run, one month is seven bottles of oil and eight 10 kg bags of wax. Write that on the shelf where the stock sits. Every decision from here is "how many units of cover am I holding", which is a question you can answer by looking rather than by calculating.
2
Hold one full month as buffer and make it untouchableSeven unopened bottles and eight sealed bags that are not part of this month's plan. Label them. The buffer exists because you do not know when the next parcel lands, and a buffer you have quietly started pouring from is not a buffer.
3
Reorder when the unopened count reaches the bufferNot on a date, not at a percentage — when the shelf shows seven unopened bottles you place the next order. At 1,200 units a month that will happen roughly monthly, but the trigger is the count, so a busier month reorders earlier automatically.
4
Front-load the festive quarter by one extra unitBetween Dasara and the end of Karthika Masam, hold two months rather than one. The reason is not transit, it is demand: the Karthika weeks pull small votives hardest, and a stock-out in the fortnight after 8 November 2026 costs you the best selling window of the year. Order the second tranche when you order the first.
5
Send quantities and cadence when you ask for a quoteMessage WhatsApp with the named oils, kilograms per month, the wax and vessel lines going with them, how often you expect to reorder, and whether you need GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation. A quote is built from quantities and a cadence. It cannot be built from "what is your bulk rate", and no figure for it appears anywhere on this site.

Why the coast changes the container, not the recipe

Everything in this section is general material behaviour a maker can check for themselves, and none of it rests on a weather statistic for Visakhapatnam. But it matters at production scale in a way it does not at ten candles, because 3,600 units means cartons standing somewhere for weeks in warm, humid, salt-carrying air.

The single decision it should change is the vessel. Metal is the part of a candle kit that responds to humid, salty air first — tins, lids, wick tabs and uncoated tools — while glass and ceramic are indifferent to it. CSI lists both: tin containers at 85 g and 135 g and a twelve-pack of 85 g golden aluminium tins at ₹360 are genuinely cheaper per unit than glass, at ₹30 a tin against ₹31.86 for the votive glass, and for a run that will be poured, boxed and delivered inside a few weeks they are a reasonable choice. For stock that will sit through a monsoon or a storm season waiting for a retail account, glass is the lower-risk decision and the difference in price is under two rupees a unit.

Production holding on the coast · general handling practice, not a published specification
What each part of a 3,600-unit run is sensitive to, and the habit that answers it
What you are holding What actually goes wrong The habit
21 one-kilogram bottles across a quarter Several opened at once, none finished, and no record of which batch came from which One bottle open at a time; bottle number on the batch sheet; upright and closed between pours
232 kg of soy in 10 kg bags Bags on a floor and opened bags picking up odour — soy takes it readily, and a fragrance shelf nearby is the usual source Raised, resealed, and stored away from the oils. Open the next bag only when the last is empty
3,600 glass votives in cartons Cartons soften in sustained damp; cool glass fogs the instant it is brought into a warm room Raise the cartons; bring in only the jars for the batch and let them reach room temperature dry
Wicks, tabs and stickers Bare metal shows humid, salt-laden air first; sticker adhesive is next Lidded box for anything metal; stickers in their sleeve until the batch starts
Poured stock waiting for the account Warm storage softens soy and a stacked carton turns that into dents and leaning wicks Single layer, lids on, and re-inspect the top of every unit before despatch in the hot and wet stretches
A melter mid-batch in the storm season Power interruption with 10 kg of wax molten is a real production risk late in the year Split large pours into two, and do the big batches in the morning
A production run is won in the week you tested the load and lost in the week you guessed the container. The fragrance price is the only line on the sheet nobody was ever going to move.

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and lists no candle-making machinery at all. There is no moulding, filling or wicking equipment in the catalogue, so a 3,600-unit quarter poured from this shopping list is poured by hand or with a melter — which is exactly why the load test in this guide matters more than any price negotiation. CSI is not a manufacturer of wax or fragrance oil, has no shop, stockist, agent or warehouse in Visakhapatnam, and publishes no delivery time, courier or shipping rate; the reorder policy above is expressed in stock rather than days for that reason.

Prices, pack sizes and stated specifications are taken from live CSI stock and product pages in September 2026, and the linked product page is always the authority. Every run figure is arithmetic on published prices and is shown with its working. Stated loads, cures, vanillin contents and flash points are quoted only from pages that state them: Cinnamon Vanilla's 13% ceiling, 2.5% vanillin and 270°F flash point, White Royal Oud's 6–10% band, Mint Sandalwood's 7–10% start-at-7% guidance and its threshold-only flash-point line, and Saffron Cedarwood's absence of any stated candle percentage. Loads are formulation guidance, not regulatory limits. No MOQ, lead time, factory capacity, private-label or contract-manufacturing service is claimed, because none is published.

For a quote on recurring volumes above the 1 kg fragrance pack or the 10 kg wax bag, GST invoicing, MSDS or IFRA documentation, message +91 7397976926 on WhatsApp with the named products, the kilograms per month and the cadence. This page does not state what any quote will be.

Frequently asked questions

How much fragrance oil does a 3,600-candle festive run need?
At 70 g a candle and an 8% load, 20.16 kg of oil and 231.84 kg of wax — because each votive is 64.4 g of wax and 5.6 g of oil. One kilogram of oil covers 178 votives, so the run is 21 one-kilogram bottles and about 232 kg of wax, or twenty-three 10 kg bags plus two kilos. At a 100 g finished weight the same 20.16 kg would make 2,520 candles instead; at 150 g, 1,680.
There is no 5 kg bottle — so how do I buy twenty kilos of one scent?
As twenty-one 1 kg bottles, because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists and no bulk pack or bulk price above it is published. Multiply the listed kilo price to get your ceiling — 20.16 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80 a kilogram is ₹91,824.77 of oil, which in whole bottles is twenty-one at ₹95,650.80 — and then ask for a quote on WhatsApp with the kilograms and the cadence. On two listings, Saffron Cedarwood and Sage and Cedarwood, two 500 g packs are cheaper than the 1 kg bottle, so check the column per oil.
What does a 70 g votive actually cost to make at 1,200 a month?
₹98.45 of consumed materials on Cinnamon Vanilla: ₹25.51 of oil, ₹32.68 of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, ₹31.86 for the white matte votive jar, ₹5.90 for the wick and ₹2.50 for the sticker. Because you can only buy whole packs, the month's actual spend of ₹1,19,525.40 is ₹99.60 a unit. The jar and the wax together are ₹64.54 — about two-thirds — so a quote built from the fragrance price alone will be badly short.
How do I set a reorder point when no delivery time is published?
Express the whole policy in stock, never in days. Define one unit of cover — here, seven bottles of oil and eight 10 kg bags of wax — hold one full unit as an untouchable buffer, and reorder when the unopened count reaches the buffer. Through the festive quarter hold two units rather than one, because the Karthika weeks after 8 November 2026 are when a stock-out costs most. CSI states only that it ships across India, so any rule based on an assumed transit time is based on a figure nobody provided.
Is there a machine that will pour 3,600 candles for me?
Not in this catalogue. No candle-making machinery is listed — no moulding, filling or wicking equipment of any kind. What is listed is melting and handling equipment, including wax melters, a steel pouring pitcher, thermometers, scales and a hot air gun. A 3,600-unit quarter on this shopping list is therefore a hand-poured operation in batches, which is worth saying plainly before anyone plans a schedule around a machine that would have to come from elsewhere.
Glass or tin for a Visakhapatnam production run?
It depends on how long the stock will stand. Metal responds to humid, salt-carrying air before anything else in a candle kit does, so for units that will wait weeks for a retail or festive account, glass is the lower-risk vessel. The price gap is small: the 85 g golden aluminium tin is ₹30 each in a twelve-pack against ₹31.86 for a 70 g votive glass. For a run that is poured, boxed and delivered quickly, tin is a reasonable choice; for stock sitting through a wet stretch, spend the two rupees.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. CSI has no shop, stockist, agent or warehouse in Visakhapatnam, and no delivery time, courier, shipping rate, MOQ, lead time, factory capacity, private-label or contract-manufacturing service is stated here, because none is published. No candle-making machinery is listed in the catalogue. Storage and handling notes are general practice a maker can verify and contain no weather statistics for the city; the seasonal power-interruption point is a production risk to plan for, not a claim about the city's supply.

Other lines — Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 500 g ₹260, 1 kg ₹507.40, 5 kg ₹2,537, 10 kg ₹5,074; Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 1 kg ₹650, 5 kg ₹3,185, 10 kg ₹6,370; White Matte Votive Jar 70 gram pack of 10 ₹318.60 (₹31.86 each); Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 100 for ₹590 and 1,000 for ₹5,900, flat at ₹5.90 each; Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100 (₹2.50 each); 85 g golden aluminium tin, pack of 12, ₹360 (₹30 each). Run arithmetic, at a 70 g finished candle and an 8% load of finished weight (64.4 g wax + 5.6 g oil): 1,200 units = 6.72 kg oil and 77.28 kg wax; 3,600 units = 20.16 kg and 231.84 kg; one 1 kg bottle covers 178 votives (1,000 ÷ 5.6, rounded down). Monthly cost ₹1,19,525.40 = ₹31,883.60 oil (7 × ₹4,554.80) + ₹39,329.80 wax (7 × ₹5,074 + 7 × ₹507.40 + ₹260 for 77.5 kg) + ₹38,232 jars (120 × ₹318.60) + ₹7,080 wicks (1,200 × ₹5.90) + ₹3,000 stickers (30 × ₹100), which is ₹99.60 a unit; consumed materials are ₹98.45 a unit (₹25.51 + ₹32.68 + ₹31.86 + ₹5.90 + ₹2.50). Quarter ₹3,58,303.60 = ₹95,650.80 oil (21 × ₹4,554.80) + ₹1,17,716.80 wax (23 × ₹5,074 + 2 × ₹507.40) + ₹1,14,696 jars (360 × ₹318.60) + ₹21,240 wicks + ₹9,000 stickers, which is ₹99.53 a unit. Load-change example: 3,600 votives at 7% need 17.64 kg of oil rather than 20.16 kg, a difference of 2.52 kg, about ₹11,478 on Cinnamon Vanilla, with 2.52 kg more wax at about ₹1,279. A 3–5% wax allowance for spills, top-ups and rejects is a planning assumption. Per-votive fragrance costs: Cinnamon Vanilla 5.6 g × ₹4.5548 = ₹25.51; Mint Sandalwood 5.6 g × ₹4.999 = ₹27.99, or 4.9 g at the stated 7% start = ₹24.50; Saffron Cedarwood 5.6 g × ₹5.1684 (500 g rung) = ₹28.94, or × ₹6.8676 (1 kg rung) = ₹38.46; White Royal Oud 5.6 g × ₹8.103 = ₹45.38, or 4.2 g at the stated 6% option = ₹34.03. Stated specifications quoted from product pages: Cinnamon Vanilla up to 13% of total wax weight, start 8–10%, flashpoint 270°F, phthalate-free, vanillin content 2.5% with a stated moderate risk of discolouration or yellowing in light-coloured wax over time and advice to use a darker wax; White Royal Oud 6–10% for candles, 10–15% for wax melts, 6–7% for background warmth and 9–10% for more presence; Mint Sandalwood 7–10% in soy, paraffin or blended wax starting at 7%, cure 48–72 hours, moderate discoloration possible, flash point stated only as the "> 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" threshold; Saffron Cedarwood states a full note pyramid but no candle percentage. Loads are formulation guidance, not regulatory limits. Diwali 2026 is 8 November 2026; Dasara and Karthika Masam are named without dates.
