Fragrance Oil Buying Guides · Coffee
CSI stocks four coffee oils. The kilogram prices run from ₹3,738 to ₹12,800 — the widest spread of any scent family in the catalogue. This page prices all four per gram, per candle and per hundred-candle run, and tells you where the kilogram is worth buying and where it saves you nothing at all.
3.42×
Coffee Blast (₹12,800/kg) against Roasted Coffee (₹3,738/kg), per gram · four coffee oils from ₹3,738 to ₹12,800 per kilogram · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Does the kilogram save money? Barely, and on two of the four not at all. Roasted Coffee's kilogram saves ₹42 against two 500 g packs — 1.1%; Coffee Vanilla Tobacco saves ₹199. Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast save exactly ₹0, being flat per gram from 100 g up. We sell the kilogram; we are telling you it is a delivery convenience, not a discount.
What does the scent choice do to a candle? In a 200 g candle at 8% (16 g of oil), fragrance costs ₹59.81 on Roasted Coffee and ₹204.80 on Coffee Blast. Across 100 candles that is ₹14,462 of difference on real purchasable packs.
Is there a 2 kg or 5 kg coffee pack? No. The ladder stops at 1 kg — 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg. Above a kilogram you buy multiples, or ask on WhatsApp.
The short answer
Cheapest kilogram:Roasted Coffee Fragrance at ₹3,738 / 1 kg (₹3.738 per gram). Also available at ₹93.22 / 15 g, ₹230 / 50 g, ₹390 / 100 g and ₹1,890 / 500 g.
Dearest kilogram:Coffee Blast at ₹12,800 / 1 kg (₹12.80 per gram) — 3.42× Roasted Coffee per gram, and flat at ₹12.80 a gram from 100 g up, so the kilogram carries no volume break.
The decision rule: buy a kilogram of Roasted Coffee once you are pouring roughly 21 coffee candles a month (200 g at 8%). On Coffee Blast, where the kilogram saves ₹0, buy 500 g at a time until you are clearing 62 a month — do not park ₹12,800 to save nothing.
Bars are drawn to scale on one axis, so the gap is the real gap: Coffee Blast's bar is 3.42 times the length of Roasted Coffee's, and the vertical rule marks the cheapest coffee's per-gram price. Figures are the live 1 kg variant price divided by 1,000 g — CSI live pricing, September 2026. The linked product page is always authoritative.
What does a kilogram of coffee fragrance oil cost in India, and which one should a candle business buy?
There is no single price, because "coffee" at CSI is four oils at four very different commercial positions. Roasted Coffee Fragrance is ₹3,738 per kilogram (₹3.738/g). Coffee Vanilla Tobacco is ₹8,599 (₹8.599/g). Moca Coffee is ₹11,200 (₹11.20/g). Coffee Blast is ₹12,800 (₹12.80/g). Coffee Blast therefore costs 3.42× Roasted Coffee per gram — the widest spread inside any one scent family in the 92-oil collection, wider than oud, vanilla or rose. In a 200 g candle at 8% that is ₹59.81 of fragrance against ₹204.80. For most makers the answer is Roasted Coffee: cheapest, the only complete 15 g-to-1 kg ladder of the four, and the only one with published verified reviews. Buy the dearer three deliberately, after testing, for a specific product at a specific price point. And note before you order that the kilogram is almost never a discount on coffee: ₹42 on Roasted Coffee, ₹0 on both Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast.
One line: Roasted Coffee ₹3,738/kg, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,599, Moca Coffee ₹11,200, Coffee Blast ₹12,800 — a 3.42× per-gram spread, and buying the kilogram saves between ₹42 and nothing at all.
Before you commit a kilogram, spend ₹944.22 and test all four: Roasted Coffee 15 g ₹93.22 · Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g ₹449 · Moca Coffee 15 g ₹186 · Coffee Blast 15 g ₹216. That is 13.5 times less than one kilogram of Coffee Blast, and it answers the only question that matters — which coffee your customers buy twice.
One scent name, four prices, and a per-gram gap so wide that the oil you pick decides whether fragrance is a quarter of your candle's cost base or more than half of it.
Coffee is one of the few gourmand notes that sells on the label alone in India — cafés order it for retail counters, hamper brands use it beside vanilla, and it reads as premium on a black jar without explanation. That pull is exactly why the pricing matters. Every figure below is the live variant price in September 2026, and each oil is linked so you can check it. Per-gram figures are the variant price divided by its weight; they are not shown on the site.

Gourmand · the volume coffee
Roasted Coffee Fragrance
The cheapest coffee in the catalogue and the only one of the four with a complete five-step ladder from a 15 g tester to a kilogram. At ₹3.738 a gram it sits near the cheap end of the whole 92-oil collection — the cheapest oil CSI sells is Citrus Lemon at ₹2.832 a gram, so Roasted Coffee is about 32% dearer than the floor of the range. It is also the only coffee oil with published customer reviews, and Arminder Kaur's verified 5★ review of Roasted Coffee Fragrance reads: "Coffee fragrance is quite strong and feels like yummy". Note the small-pack premium: the 100 g works out at ₹3.90 a gram against ₹3.738 at a kilogram.
A three-note composition rather than a single coffee accord, which is why it prices against CSI's vanilla family rather than its coffee one. At ₹8.599 a gram it is 2.30× Roasted Coffee, and it is the only one of the four besides Roasted Coffee where the kilogram carries any real break: two 500 g packs are ₹8,798, so the kilogram at ₹8,599 saves ₹199, or 2.3%. There is no 15 g variant, so the cheapest way in is the 50 g at ₹449. Watch the 100 g row — at ₹8.99 a gram it is fractionally dearer than the 50 g pack.
Priced at a clean ₹11.20 a gram at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg — identical per gram at every pack from 50 g upward; only the 15 g tester is dearer, at ₹12.40. That flatness has one honest consequence: buying the kilogram instead of two 500 g packs saves exactly ₹0. ₹11,200 either way, so the kilogram buys one delivery instead of two and nothing else. At 3.00× Roasted Coffee per gram it puts ₹179.20 of oil into a 200 g candle at 8%, before wax, jar or wick.

Coffee Blast
The dearest coffee oil CSI stocks, at ₹12,800 a kilogram — ₹12.80 a gram, and flat at that figure from 100 g upward. The 50 g is ₹12.98 a gram and the 15 g ₹14.40, so the volume tiers remove a small-pack premium rather than give a bulk discount. Two 500 g packs are ₹12,800; the kilogram is ₹12,800. The saving is zero. For context, the dearest oil CSI sells is Club De Nuit Intense inspired at ₹24.056 a gram — so Coffee Blast is premium but not extreme. Buy it for a defined premium product carrying ₹204.80 of fragrance per 200 g candle, not as a general-purpose coffee.

Against our own interest · the kilogram-versus-two-500 g test
What buying the bigger pack actually saves on each coffee oil
This page is titled "buy 1 kg" and the honest finding argues against it. On two of the four coffee oils the kilogram is not cheaper by a single rupee, and on a third it saves 1.1%. The kilogram's real benefits are operational: one delivery instead of two, one batch across a whole production run so your scent does not shift mid-collection, and one line on the GST invoice. A discount is not on that list, and any supplier page claiming the kilogram is where the savings are should be asked to show both numbers. Across CSI's whole range the kilogram saves between −₹1 and +₹499 against two 500 g packs — 0% to 6.7%. How premium brands actually buy fragrance covers why they still do it.
All four are candle fragrance oils — CSI stocks no coffee essential oil and no coffee absolute, and an essential oil is not a substitute in a candle recipe. The nearest gourmand alternatives in the range are Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80/kg and Apple Cinnamon at ₹4,743.60/kg — both dearer per gram than Roasted Coffee, which is worth knowing before you assume coffee is an expensive note.
What 3.42× costs per candle, and per hundred
A per-kilogram price is not a decision-grade number. What you act on is rupees of fragrance per finished candle, then rupees across the run you are pouring. Take the commonest commercial format: a 200 g candle at an 8% fragrance load. Fragrance percentage at CSI is a share of total candle weight, so that is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax — not 16 g on top of 200 g. Get the convention wrong and every figure below shifts; the load guide spells it out both ways.

+₹14,462.00
Read the per-candle column first. ₹59.81 against ₹204.80 is a difference of ₹144.99 on one candle — more than the wax and the wick put together on most builds. Then read the run column, because that is the money that leaves your bank account. One hundred 200 g candles at 8% need 1.6 kg, and with no pack above a kilogram you buy it as 1 kg + 500 g + 100 g: ₹6,018 on Roasted Coffee, ₹20,480 on Coffee Blast. The gap is ₹14,462 on a hundred candles.
Why the run ratio is 3.40×, not 3.42×
Per gram, Coffee Blast is 3.42× Roasted Coffee (₹12.80 ÷ ₹3.738). But on the real pack route for 1.6 kg the ratio falls slightly to 3.40× (₹20,480 ÷ ₹6,018), because Roasted Coffee's 500 g and 100 g packs carry a per-gram premium — ₹3.78 and ₹3.90 against ₹3.738 — while Coffee Blast's do not. Roasted Coffee's effective rate across that mixed order is ₹3.761 a gram; Coffee Blast's is exactly ₹12.80. The flat pricing that denies you a kilogram discount also denies you a small-pack penalty. Both facts are true and both belong in your costing sheet.
No other scent family does this much. The seven oud oils span ₹4,531.20 to ₹12,000 a kilogram — 2.65×. The vanillas run ₹4,554.80 to ₹8,599, under 1.9×. The two roses, British Rose at ₹3,068 and Smoked Rose Royale at ₹7,999, are 2.61× apart. Coffee's 3.42× is the widest, which means "which coffee" is a bigger cost decision than "coffee or oud". Makers who shop by family and then pick inside it by description are making the expensive half of the decision blind.
What one kilogram actually makes
A kilogram sounds like a lot of fragrance until you divide it by a candle. At 200 g and 8% it is sixty-two candles, and then it is gone.
Twelve combinations of candle size and load, all on the CSI convention that the percentage is of total finished candle weight. Counts are rounded down, because a part-filled jar is not a unit you can sell. Fragrance cost is shown at both ends of the coffee range so you can read your own format straight off the row.

The 13% rows are not available on every wax
Fragrance load ceilings are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer — the maximum oil that wax has been formulated to hold in solution. They are not regulatory limits and they are not interchangeable. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are stated to hold up to 13%; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464up to 10%. If you pour CSI 464, the four 13% rows above do not apply — stop at the 10% rows. Work to the figure printed for the wax you bought, and treat your fragrance supplier's own usage documentation as a separate question.
The 300 g rows are where the spread bites. A 300 g candle at 13% takes 39 g of oil: ₹145.78 on Roasted Coffee, but ₹499.20 in one candle on Coffee Blast, and a kilogram makes only twenty-five of them. Building a large-format premium candle on Coffee Blast means setting your retail price from the oil first and the wax second.
The consumption threshold: when the kilogram makes sense
The kilogram is justified by how fast you will use it, not by a discount that mostly is not there. Use a simple rule: do not hold more than three months of forward cover on a cheap oil, or more than one month on a dear one. The reason is cash, not chemistry — stock you have not poured is money you cannot spend on jars.
1
Roasted Coffee: the kilogram makes sense from about 21 candles a monthOne kilogram is 62 candles at 200 g and 8%. Three months of cover is 62 ÷ 3 ≈ 21 coffee candles a month. At that rate ₹3,738 is committed, you save ₹42 against two 500 g packs, and you get one consistent batch across a quarter. Below 21 a month, buy the 500 g at ₹1,890 — 31 candles, and ₹1,848 less capital on the shelf.
2
Coffee Blast: the threshold is 62 candles a month, and it is not about savingsSame 62 candles per kilogram, but ₹12,800 of capital and a saving of exactly zero. Two 500 g packs cost the identical ₹12,800, so there is no volume at which the kilogram is financially cheaper — hold no more than one month of cover on it. The kilogram is the right buy at roughly 62 coffee candles a month and not before. Under that, buy 500 g at ₹6,400 or 100 g at ₹1,280, at the same ₹12.80 a gram. Moca Coffee behaves identically at ₹11.20.
3
Write the threshold down as a number, then check it against last quarterMost makers over-estimate. Count the coffee candles you actually shipped in the last ninety days, divide by three, and compare against 21 and 62. If the answer is eight a month, a 500 g pack of Roasted Coffee (31 candles) is already nearly four months of cover, and a kilogram of Coffee Blast (62 candles) is nearly eight months of stock holding ₹12,800. How much fragrance oil a candle business needs runs the same arithmetic across a full range.
4
Above a kilogram there is no pack — only multiplesCSI's fragrance ladder is at most 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance-oil pack in the catalogue. Five kilograms of Roasted Coffee is 5 × ₹3,738 = ₹18,690 and ten is ₹37,380; five kilograms of Coffee Blast is 5 × ₹12,800 = ₹64,000. The website price does not drop automatically above a kilogram, so ask for a quote on WhatsApp rather than assume a slab exists — CSI has published none.
Pouring for Diwali on 8 November 2026? Coffee and other gourmands keep improving through a long cure, so fragrance wants to be decided and ordered early enough to pour, cure and ship without compressing the schedule. Bulk quotes above 1 kg, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation are all handled on WhatsApp.
Identical jar, identical wax, identical wick. Change only the coffee and the cost base moves by 57.2%.
A complete 200 g container candle costed line by line from live CSI pricing, built once on Roasted Coffee and once on Coffee Blast. Wax is Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹599 per kilogram — ₹0.599 a gram, and the 13% stated ceiling if you later want to push the load. The vessel is a Black Matte Glass Jar at ₹708 per pack of 10, so ₹70.80 each; check its fill capacity on the product page against your pour weight before ordering a hundred. Everything else is the small hardware makers leave out of a costing and then wonder where the margin went. Dye, outer packaging, labels, shipping and labour are excluded from both columns equally.
200 g candle at 8% load · 184 g wax + 16 g fragrance · CSI live pricing, September 2026
The share row is the one to sit with. On Roasted Coffee, fragrance is 23.6% of material cost — a manageable proportion where wax and glass still dominate and a jar negotiation genuinely moves your margin. On Coffee Blast it is 51.4%. More than half the candle's material cost is one ingredient, which changes how the business behaves: a cheaper jar barely matters, a 1% waste rate on oil costs real money, and every gram spilled in decanting is ₹12.80 gone. The cost base rises 57.2%, from ₹253.60 to ₹398.59 — ₹144.99, all of it fragrance. Holding the same gross margin percentage means raising retail by that same 57.2%, which is a positioning decision as much as a pricing one. How to price candles in India works through the markup side.
The CSI principle
Inside a scent family, the oil you choose is a business-model decision disguised as a creative one.
Roasted Coffee builds a candle where fragrance is a quarter of the cost and glass and wax are the levers. Coffee Blast builds a candle where fragrance is over half the cost and nothing else you negotiate will matter much. Both are legitimate businesses. They are not the same business, and you cannot drift from one into the other by accident and keep your margin.
How to buy coffee oil without over-committing
The commercially convenient thing to write on a page titled "buy 1 kg" is that you should buy the kilogram of the dearest oil. Here is the actual advice, and it costs us money.
If you are a café doing branded gifting, or a small-batch maker with one coffee line, buy 100 g of Roasted Coffee at ₹390 first. Not the kilogram, and certainly not Coffee Blast. ₹390 pours six 200 g candles at 8% — enough to cure properly, burn-test and find out whether coffee sells for you at all. If it does, the next order is 500 g at ₹1,890, then the kilogram at ₹3,738 once you are clearing 21 a month. Committing ₹12,800 to Coffee Blast before you have sold a single coffee candle is a ₹12,800 bet on an untested scent — on an oil with no volume discount, at 51.4% of your candle's material cost. If the range does not move you own nearly eight months of stock in a note you cannot easily blend away. Test for ₹390. Scale after.
1
Buy the test set, not the kilogramRoasted Coffee 15 g at ₹93.22, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g at ₹449 (there is no 15 g), Moca Coffee 15 g at ₹186 and Coffee Blast 15 g at ₹216 — ₹944.22 for all four, against ₹12,800 for one kilogram of Coffee Blast. That is 13.5 times cheaper, and the only way to learn which coffee your buyers prefer rather than which description reads best.
2
Test one variable and weigh everythingPour the same wax, jar and wick across all four oils at the same load, and weigh the oil rather than measure it — load is a weight percentage and oils differ in density. A weighing scale at ₹354 and a pen thermometer at ₹354 are what make the comparison mean anything.
3
Cure before you judge, especially on gourmandsCoffee is a heavy gourmand note and does not show its final character in the first few days. Judging at forty-eight hours is the commonest reason a maker wrongly blames the oil, switches to the dearer one and doubles the fragrance cost for nothing. Give every test jar the same cure period, lids on, out of sunlight, then burn them side by side on one day.
4
Then buy the pack that matches your monthly count, not the biggest one availableFrom 21 coffee candles a month upward the Roasted Coffee kilogram is right; below that, 500 g. On Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast, where the kilogram saves ₹0, stay on 500 g until you are genuinely clearing 62 a month — the per-gram price is identical, so buying twice costs nothing.
Shelf life, storage and decanting
A kilogram of oil is a stock position, and storage decides whether the last 200 g performs like the first. CSI publishes no blanket shelf-life figure across all 92 oils — batch and documentation details are supplied on request, so ask for them on a kilogram purchase rather than assume a number. Standard practice for fragrance oils generally: keep them tightly closed, cool, dark and away from direct sunlight and heat, upright, off a floor that catches the afternoon sun. Heat and air age an oil, and a kilogram bottle unsealed repeatedly across six months sees plenty of both.
Two habits matter more than the rest. Decant into a small working bottle so the kilogram is opened rarely rather than daily — more headspace and more openings flatten a coffee blend's top notes faster. And label it with your invoice date and the date you opened it: when a batch performs differently three months later, the only way to trace it is to know which purchase it came from. On Coffee Blast at ₹12.80 a gram, every ten grams spilled or written off is ₹128 — another argument for buying 500 g at a time when the per-gram price is flat anyway.
Documentation, GST and buying above a kilogram
Three things travel with a business order. GST invoicing is provided on every order, which is what lets you claim input credit and cost your candles on the net figure. MSDS and IFRA documentation are available on request — ask on WhatsApp against the specific oil and batch, and keep them on file, particularly if you sell into retail, corporate gifting or export. Do not treat a wax's stated ceiling as a substitute: the 10% and 13% figures describe what the wax holds, not usage guidance for the oil.
On volume, the ladder genuinely stops at a kilogram. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg coffee fragrance pack. Five kilograms of Roasted Coffee is five × ₹3,738 = ₹18,690; ten is ₹37,380. The price does not fall automatically at those multiples, and CSI publishes no slab, rate card, minimum order quantity or credit term. Message +91 7397976926 with the oil, quantity and timeline and ask for a quote — the wholesale buyer's guide sets out what to ask for, and premium versus cheap fragrance oils covers what differs between the two ends of a family like this one.
The kilogram is a delivery decision. The oil inside it is the business decision, and on coffee it is worth ₹144.99 a candle.

Why trust this guide
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. On a page titled "buy 1 kg", the commercially convenient version would push the kilogram of the dearest coffee. Instead the two loudest findings here are that the kilogram saves ₹0 on Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast, and that a small maker should spend ₹390 on 100 g of Roasted Coffee before committing ₹12,800 to anything. We would rather you order again than order big once.
Every price here is the live variant price on the CSI store in September 2026, and each oil, wax, jar and wick links to its product page, where current pricing and specification take precedence. Per-gram figures are computed from those variant prices and are not displayed on the site. The ceilings quoted — up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — are the wax manufacturer's stated formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and are specific to each wax. There are 92 fragrance oils in the collection on the pull date, and the ladder tops out at 1 kg.

Frequently asked questions
How much does 1 kg of coffee fragrance oil cost in India at CSI?
Four coffee oils, four prices. Roasted Coffee Fragrance is ₹3,738 per kilogram, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco₹8,599, Moca Coffee₹11,200 and Coffee Blast₹12,800 — ₹3.738, ₹8.599, ₹11.20 and ₹12.80 a gram. Coffee Blast is 3.42× Roasted Coffee per gram, the widest spread inside any one scent family CSI stocks. CSI live pricing, September 2026; the linked product pages are authoritative.
Is buying 1 kg cheaper than buying two 500 g packs?
Only slightly, and on two of the four not at all. Roasted Coffee: two 500 g packs are ₹3,780 against ₹3,738, so the kilogram saves ₹42, or 1.1%. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco: ₹8,798 against ₹8,599 — ₹199, or 2.3%. Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast: ₹11,200 and ₹12,800 either way — the kilogram saves exactly ₹0, both being flat per gram from 100 g upward. Buy the kilogram for one delivery and one consistent batch, not for a discount.
How many candles will 1 kg of coffee fragrance oil make?
At a 200 g candle and an 8% load that is 16 g of oil per candle, so 62 candles from a kilogram. Other formats: 125 candles at 100 g and 8%; 83 at 150 g and 8%; 50 at 200 g and 10%; 38 at 200 g and 13%; 41 at 300 g and 8%; and only 25 at 300 g and 13%. CSI's percentages are of total finished candle weight, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil plus 184 g of wax, not 16 g added to 200 g.
Which coffee fragrance oil should a new candle business buy?
Roasted Coffee, starting at 100 g for ₹390. It is the cheapest of the four, the only one with a full 15 g to 1 kg ladder, and the only coffee oil on the store with published customer reviews — Arminder Kaur's verified 5★ review of Roasted Coffee Fragrance reads "Coffee fragrance is quite strong and feels like yummy". ₹390 pours six 200 g candles at 8%, enough to cure, burn-test and put in front of buyers. Move to 500 g at ₹1,890, then the kilogram at ₹3,738 once you are pouring around 21 coffee candles a month.
Does CSI sell a 5 kg or 10 kg pack of coffee fragrance oil?
No. The ladder is at most 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg and no larger SKU exists anywhere in the catalogue. Five kilograms of Roasted Coffee is 5 × ₹3,738 = ₹18,690, ten kilograms ₹37,380, and five kilograms of Coffee Blast 5 × ₹12,800 = ₹64,000. The price does not drop automatically above a kilogram and CSI publishes no discount slab, rate or minimum order quantity. At that volume, ask for a quote on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.
What fragrance load should I use for a coffee candle?
Work to the ceiling stated for the wax you bought, and treat it as a maximum rather than a target. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are stated to hold up to 13%, Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464up to 10%. These are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer — the maximum oil that wax holds in solution — not regulatory limits, and not interchangeable. On a dear oil the load is also a cost decision: on Coffee Blast, moving a 200 g candle from 8% to 13% takes the fragrance line from ₹204.80 to ₹332.80.

Full ladders: Roasted Coffee 15 g ₹93.22 · 50 g ₹230 · 100 g ₹390 · 500 g ₹1,890; Coffee Vanilla Tobacco 50 g ₹449 · 100 g ₹899 · 500 g ₹4,399 (no 15 g); Moca Coffee 15 g ₹186 · 50 g ₹560 · 100 g ₹1,120 · 500 g ₹5,600; Coffee Blast 15 g ₹216 · 50 g ₹649 · 100 g ₹1,280 · 500 g ₹6,400. 3.42× = ₹12.80 ÷ ₹3.738. Two 500 g vs 1 kg: Roasted Coffee ₹3,780 vs ₹3,738 (saves ₹42, 1.1%); Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,798 vs ₹8,599 (saves ₹199, 2.3%); Moca Coffee and Coffee Blast identical either way (saves ₹0). Per-candle fragrance cost assumes a 200 g finished candle at an 8% load of total candle weight = 16 g oil + 184 g wax: ₹59.81 on Roasted Coffee, ₹137.58 on Coffee Vanilla Tobacco, ₹179.20 on Moca Coffee, ₹204.80 on Coffee Blast; the Roasted Coffee to Coffee Blast difference is ₹144.99 per candle. 100-candle run needs 1.6 kg, bought as 1 kg + 500 g + 100 g since no larger pack exists: ₹6,018 on Roasted Coffee against ₹20,480 on Coffee Blast — ₹14,462 apart, a ratio of 3.40× because Roasted Coffee's smaller packs carry a per-gram premium (₹3.78 and ₹3.90) and Coffee Blast's do not. Bill of materials, 200 g candle at 8%: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 184 g at ₹0.599/g (₹599 per 1 kg) = ₹110.22; Black Matte Glass Jar ₹708 per 10 = ₹70.80; Eco Candle Wicks Thick (C2) ₹944 per 100 = ₹9.44; Candle Wick Stickers ₹100 per 40 = ₹2.50; Candle Care Stickers Roll ₹413 per 500 = ₹0.83. Totals ₹253.60 (fragrance 23.6%) and ₹398.59 (fragrance 51.4%), a 57.2% rise in the cost base; dye, outer packaging, labels, shipping and labour excluded from both. Comparison oils: Citrus Lemon ₹2,832/kg (₹2.832/g, cheapest per gram in the catalogue), British Rose ₹3,068/kg, Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80/kg, Apple Cinnamon ₹4,743.60/kg, Club De Nuit Intense inspired ₹24,056/kg (₹24.056/g, dearest). Above 1 kg: no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg pack exists; 5 kg Roasted Coffee = ₹18,690, 10 kg = ₹37,380, 5 kg Coffee Blast = ₹64,000, and CSI publishes no discount slab, rate or minimum order quantity above a kilogram.
