About This Fragrance Oil
British Rose Fragrance Oil captures the essence of freshly picked English roses in full bloom. It is a classic, sophisticated floral that is soft rather than sharp, dewy rather than synthetic, and romantic rather than overpowering. The subtle green undertones give it a natural garden quality - this smells like a rose that is actually growing rather than a rose that has been extracted into a perfume bottle.
The 0% vanillin content is worth noting for candle makers working with white or light-coloured wax - there is no risk of discolouration or yellowing, making it ideal for luxury cream, blush, or frosted-finish candles where the visual presentation is as important as the fragrance. The flashpoint of 192°C gives comfortable working temperature margins. Compatible with all standard candle waxes and recommended for container candles, tealights, and luxury jar formats.
Who Should Choose This Fragrance
British Rose is for candle makers building classic floral, romantic, or wedding collections - the kind of candle a customer buys for a bridal shower, a Valentine's Day gift, or as an everyday luxury that makes a bedroom feel special. For spring and garden-inspired product lines where the fragrance needs to feel genuinely natural and elegant. For makers whose customers prefer soft, real-feeling florals over the synthetic rose notes that appear in cheaper fragrance oils. And for anyone making white or pastel candles who needs a rose fragrance that will not discolour the wax.
Candle Maker's Tip
Pair British Rose with lavender and vanilla for a romantic signature blend. Combine with sandalwood for a refined, slightly warmer rose. Add a touch of jasmine for a full bouquet effect. For wick selection, cotton or wooden wicks are recommended for an even burn - always test wick size to match your specific container and wax type before producing a full batch.
