Six genuine Judge.me reviews published on candlemakingsuppliesindia.store. Products, in order: Dark Vanilla Fragrance · Cinnamon Vanilla · Cinnamon Vanilla · Dark Vanilla Oud · Gardenia Fragrance Oil · Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464. Four of the six are vanilla-family reviews; none is a review of Vanilla Bean, and none of them describes a 5 kg purchase, because CSI does not sell a 5 kg pack. CSI's fragrance ladder stops at 1 kg. Five kilograms of Vanilla Bean is five 1 kg bottles at ₹7,646 each — ₹38,230, the largest single-scent commitment anywhere in this series. Here is what that money buys, what it locks up, and the one chemistry problem that makes holding vanilla different from holding any other scent.
₹38,230
5 × ₹7,646 for 5 kg of Vanilla Bean · the same 5 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla is ₹22,774 · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI sell a 5 kg vanilla fragrance pack? No. Across all 92 oils the variant ladder is at most 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance SKU. Five kilograms means five 1 kg bottles in one order.

What does 5 kg cost? Vanilla Bean: 5 × ₹7,646 = ₹38,230. Dark Vanilla: the same ₹38,230 — the two are priced identically at every size. Cinnamon Vanilla: 5 × ₹4,554.80 = ₹22,774. Tobacco Vanilla: 5 × ₹7,499 = ₹37,495. Full family table below.

Is there a discount at 5 kg? The website price does not drop automatically above 1 kg. CSI publishes no slab, no rate card, no minimum order quantity and no credit term. Buying at this volume, ask on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 for a quote. Do not plan a costing around a discount that has not been quoted to you.

What does 5 kg make? At an 8% load in a 200 g candle — 16 g of oil each — 312 candles, which also need about 57.4 kg of wax. The oil is not the whole bill.
The short answer
Five kilograms is an arithmetic, not a product. Vanilla Bean and Dark Vanilla are ₹7,646 per kilogram, so 5 kg is ₹38,230 of either. Cinnamon Vanilla is ₹4,554.80 per kilogram, so 5 kg is ₹22,774. The gap is ₹15,456.
No published discount above 1 kg. CSI has not published a volume slab, an MOQ or a payment term. Ask for a quote; do not assume one exists.
Vanilla carries a holding risk other scents do not. Vanillin-containing fragrances are known to darken wax over time. That is formulation chemistry, not a fault — but it means a slow-moving 5 kg vanilla holding needs batch records and dated reference candles in a way 5 kg of citrus does not.
Five kilograms of vanilla, to scale: ₹22,774 to ₹42,995 for the same weight of oil Cinnamon Vanilla₹22,774 Dark Vanilla Oud₹28,455 Tobacco Vanilla₹37,495 Vanilla Bean₹38,230 Dark Vanilla₹38,230 Vanilla Orange Blossom₹41,470 Coffee Vanilla Tobacco₹42,995
Bar length is the true cost of 5 kg — five 1 kg bottles — of each of CSI's seven vanilla-family oils, drawn to scale from live September 2026 pricing. The dashed line marks Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹22,774. Everything to the right of it is what a buyer pays for a different vanilla character in the same 5,000 grams. Vanilla Bean sits ₹15,456 past that line. CSI does not sell a 5 kg pack; each bar is 5 × the 1 kg variant price.
Straight answer
Can you buy 5 kg of vanilla fragrance oil from CSI, and what does it cost?
You can buy 5 kg. You cannot buy a 5 kg pack, because none exists — the largest fragrance variant CSI lists is 1 kg, on every one of its 92 oils. Five kilograms is five 1 kg bottles on one invoice, and the price is straightforward multiplication. Vanilla Bean at ₹7,646 per kilogram gives 5 × ₹7,646 = ₹38,230. Dark Vanilla is priced identically at every size, so it is also ₹38,230. Tobacco Vanilla is 5 × ₹7,499 = ₹37,495. Cinnamon Vanilla is 5 × ₹4,554.80 = ₹22,774. The cart price does not fall automatically at five kilograms. CSI has published no volume slab, no per-kilogram rate above the listed one, no minimum order quantity and no credit term, so nothing on this page should be read as a discount. If you are committing at this level, message +91 7397976926 and ask for a quote against your actual order. Before you do, read the yield and the vanillin section below — most makers searching this phrase need less oil than they think.
One line: 5 kg of Vanilla Bean is five 1 kg bottles at ₹38,230, there is no pack above 1 kg and no published discount, and the same 5 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla is ₹22,774.
Not sure the scent sells yet? One 1 kg bottle of Cinnamon Vanilla is ₹4,554.80 and pours 62 candles at 200 g and 8%. That is the whole experiment for 11.9% of a 5 kg Vanilla Bean commitment.

What 5 kg of each vanilla actually costs

Seven vanillas. The same 5,000 grams. A spread of ₹20,221 between the cheapest and the dearest, for a difference most customers will never articulate.

Start with what the search term assumes and the catalogue does not support. CSI's fragrance-oil variant ladder is, at most, 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg — the full ladder across all 92 oils in the fragrance oils collection. No 2 kg jerrycan, no 5 kg tin, no 10 kg drum. Any supplier offering you a five-kilogram pack from this catalogue is offering a product that does not exist. Five kilograms is five one-kilogram bottles, ordered together, invoiced together, priced by multiplication.

Two flags before you read the table. Vanilla Bean and Dark Vanilla are priced identically at every single size — a real, checkable fact, not a typographical accident. And Vanilla Orange Blossom has no 500 g variant at all: its ladder is 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg only.

Five kilograms, worked · CSI live pricing, September 2026
5 kg = 5 × the 1 kg variant. No 5 kg SKU exists.
Vanilla oil 1 kg price Arithmetic for 5 kg 5 kg total Per gram
Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80 5 × ₹4,554.80 ₹22,774.00 ₹4.555
Dark Vanilla Oud ₹5,691.00 5 × ₹5,691.00 ₹28,455.00 ₹5.691
Tobacco Vanilla ₹7,499.00 5 × ₹7,499.00 ₹37,495.00 ₹7.499
Vanilla Bean ₹7,646.00 5 × ₹7,646.00 ₹38,230.00 ₹7.646
Dark Vanilla ₹7,646.00 5 × ₹7,646.00 ₹38,230.00 ₹7.646
Vanilla Orange Blossom ₹8,294.00 5 × ₹8,294.00 ₹41,470.00 ₹8.294
Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,599.00 5 × ₹8,599.00 ₹42,995.00 ₹8.599

Now read the two ends of that table against each other, because it is the most consequential decision on the page. Five kilograms of Vanilla Bean is ₹38,230. Five kilograms of Cinnamon Vanilla is ₹22,774. The difference is ₹15,456 — 67.9% more money for the same 5,000 grams, and Cinnamon Vanilla is 40.4% cheaper per gram. In a finished, cured, lit candle a great many buyers cannot reliably tell a straight vanilla from a warm-spiced one, and almost none can put the difference into words at the point of sale. We sell both. The expensive one has to earn ₹15,456 of extra margin before it is the right purchase, and on most product lines it does not.

Five 1 kg bottles beat ten 500 g bottles — but barely. With no pack above 1 kg, the only packaging choice at this volume is kilogram bottles against half-kilogram bottles. Vanilla Bean: ₹38,400 for ten 500 g against ₹38,230 — the kilogram route saves ₹170 across 5 kg, or 0.44%. Cinnamon Vanilla: ₹23,010 against ₹22,774, saving ₹236. Tobacco Vanilla is the one real gap: ₹39,990 against ₹37,495, saving ₹2,495. Dark Vanilla Oud runs the other way — ₹28,450 against ₹28,455, so the kilogram is ₹5 dearer. Vanilla Orange Blossom has no 500 g variant, so the comparison cannot be made at all. The bigger bottle is a convenience here, not a discount.
What CSI has not published, stated plainly
There is no volume slab on this website. No rate card above the listed 1 kg price. No minimum order quantity. No credit term. No published lead time for a large fragrance order. The price you see for 1 kg is the price, and five of them cost five times as much unless someone quotes you otherwise in writing. If you are committing ₹38,230 to one scent, message +91 7397976926 with the exact oils and quantities and ask what can be done. Build your costing on the listed price and treat anything better as upside. GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation, are available on request through the same number.

What 5 kg makes — and the wax bill nobody budgets for

Five kilograms is 5,000 grams. On CSI's product pages fragrance load is a percentage of total candle weight, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax. The convention matters: calculate 8% of the wax instead and the same candle takes 14.8 g, shifting every yield figure. The table below uses finished candle weight throughout; the fragrance-quantity guide reconciles both conventions.

Yield from 5,000 g of fragrance oil · load as a % of finished candle weight
Candles produced, by candle size and fragrance load
Candle 6% load 8% load 10% load 13% load
100 g 6 g each · 833 candles 8 g each · 625 candles 10 g each · 500 candles 13 g each · 384 candles
150 g 9 g each · 555 candles 12 g each · 416 candles 15 g each · 333 candles 19.5 g each · 256 candles
200 g 12 g each · 416 candles 16 g each · 312 candles 20 g each · 250 candles 26 g each · 192 candles
300 g 18 g each · 277 candles 24 g each · 208 candles 30 g each · 166 candles 39 g each · 128 candles

The 13% column is only available to you if your wax states it. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are rated up to 13%; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 flakes up to 10%. Those are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer — the maximum the wax has been made to hold in solution — not regulatory limits, and they are not interchangeable between waxes. Note also how fast the yield collapses: the same 5 kg makes 833 small candles at one end of the table and 128 large ones at the other. Know which row you are in before you order.

Now the part left out of most bulk-buying decisions. Take the middle of the table — 312 candles at 200 g and 8%. Each needs 184 g of wax, so the batch needs 312 × 184 g = 57,408 g, or 57.4 kg. Unlike fragrance, wax genuinely does come in 5 kg and 10 kg packs.

The wax alongside 5 kg of vanilla · 312 candles at 200 g, 8% load
Buying 57.4 kg of wax in packs CSI actually sells
Wax Stated ceiling Basket bought Wax cost
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks Up to 13% 5 × 10 kg at ₹5,999 (₹29,995) + 1 × 5 kg at ₹2,995 + 3 × 1 kg at ₹599 (₹1,797) = 58 kg ₹34,787.00
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 Up to 10% 5 × 10 kg at ₹5,074 (₹25,370) + 1 × 5 kg at ₹2,537 + 3 × 1 kg at ₹507.40 (₹1,522.20) = 58 kg ₹29,429.20

Add the rest of the build and the true size of the commitment appears. Wicks: 312 candles want 320 Eco Candle Wicks in Thick (C2), bought as 3 × 100 at ₹944 plus 1 × 20 at ₹188.80 — ₹3,020.80. Vessels: 350 200 ml Salsa Glass Jars with golden lug caps, bought as 3 × 100 at ₹2,950 plus 1 × 50 at ₹1,475 — ₹10,325. With Luxury Soy Chunks and 5 kg of Vanilla Bean, the raw-material bill for that production run is ₹38,230 + ₹34,787 + ₹3,020.80 + ₹10,325 = ₹86,362.80, and the basket leaves you with spare wax, wicks and jars rather than a shortfall. The fragrance is 44.3% of it. Anyone planning a 5 kg vanilla purchase in isolation is planning less than half the order.

Per-candle consumption cost, 200 g at 8%, at 1 kg and 10 kg pricing: Vanilla Bean oil 16 g × ₹7.646 = ₹122.34 · Luxury Soy Chunks 184 g at ₹5,999/10 kg (₹0.5999/g) = ₹110.38 · Eco Wick Thick C2 at ₹944/100 = ₹9.44 · 200 ml Salsa Jar at ₹2,950/100 = ₹29.50. Total ₹271.66. Swap the oil for Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4.5548/g and the oil line falls to ₹72.88 and the candle to ₹222.20 — ₹49.46 less per unit, which is exactly ₹15,456 spread across 5,000 g. Excludes dye, labels, packaging, shipping and GST. Pricing method here.

The vanillin problem — why holding 5 kg of vanilla is not like holding 5 kg of anything else

Citrus sitting on a shelf is just citrus sitting on a shelf. Vanilla sitting on a shelf is a slow chemical clock, and the longer the holding, the more of it you will see in the jar.

This almost never appears in a costing, which is why it gets a section rather than a footnote. Fragrances built on vanillin and related vanilla molecules are known, as a general property of that chemistry, to darken wax over time. White soy goes ivory, then cream, then a light tan. That is a characteristic of the ingredient family, not a defect in a particular bottle.

On a small purchase it is a cosmetic curiosity you photograph around. On a 5 kg holding it becomes an operational problem, for a reason to do with time rather than quality. A 5 kg holding is, by definition, a holding that lasts. Pour 52 candles a month at 200 g and 8% and that stock is with you for six months. The first candles and the last come from the same purchase but not the same day, they age for different lengths of time before a customer sees them, and with a discolouring fragrance they may not match. Nobody asks that question about a lemon candle.

What CSI has and has not published about this
CSI publishes no test result, no timescale, no shade chart and no claim of any kind about how far or how fast its specific vanilla oils discolour wax, and nothing on this page should be read as one. We are describing a known general property of vanillin-containing fragrances, not a measured property of a particular CSI SKU. CSI also publishes no shelf-life figure for its fragrance oils. If you need documented characteristics for a batch you are about to commit to, ask for the MSDS and IFRA documentation for that batch on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 and read what it actually says, rather than working from a generalisation — including this one.

The correct response is not to avoid vanilla. Vanilla sells, it sells at Diwali, and it is one of the most legible scents on a shelf label. The correct response is to run the holding as a process rather than as a cupboard. Four things, none of them expensive:

1
Pour a test candle from every bottle, on the day you open itNot one test candle for the purchase — one per bottle, five across 5 kg. Same wax, same vessel, same load, same wick, poured the same way. All five together cost about ₹1,358 in oil, wax, wick and jar at Vanilla Bean, Luxury Soy Chunks, Eco C2 and salsa-jar pricing — 3.6% of the fragrance spend to know your five bottles behave alike before you pour 312 saleable units from them.
2
Keep a dated reference candle and never sell itLabel it with the pour date, the bottle and the load, lid on, out of sunlight, and leave it alone. When a customer in month five says the candle looks different from the one they bought in month one, the reference candle is the only thing that tells you whether they are right. Without it you are arguing from memory against a photograph.
3
Sequence the stock and pour it in orderNumber the five bottles on arrival and finish them one at a time, oldest first — not bottle three because it is nearer the bench. Sequencing keeps the oil's age broadly consistent within a production run, and when something does change it tells you which bottle it changed at. A holding poured at random is a holding you cannot diagnose.
4
Decide in advance whether you are fighting the colour or selling itThree honest options. Pour into coloured or opaque vessels, so the wax shade largely stops mattering. Or add a dye and hold the shade deliberately — CSI's liquid candle dyes start at ₹236 for 15 ml, and a concentrated dye lets you set a consistent cream or caramel instead of chasing a moving target. Or print "may deepen in colour over time; this is characteristic of vanilla fragrances" on the care card. All three beat being surprised in month four.

Five bottles is five batch codes. That is the practical consequence of there being no 5 kg pack, and with a discolouring fragrance it matters more than it would with a citrus or a rose. Record, per bottle: oil name and handle, invoice date, the batch or lot code printed on the bottle, the dates you opened and finished it, the batch numbers of every run poured from it, and the wax batch those runs used. One sheet per scent. Not paperwork for its own sake: when a stockist raises a colour or throw question eight months from now, you answer it in two minutes with a document instead of a guess. The same discipline runs through how premium brands buy fragrance wholesale.

The CSI principle
A large holding of a stable fragrance is inventory. A large holding of a changing one is inventory plus a schedule.
Five kilograms of vanilla is not a worse purchase than five kilograms of citrus. It is a purchase with one more variable in it, and the maker who writes that variable down keeps control of it. The maker who does not will find out about it from a customer.

Working capital: what ₹38,230 in one scent is not buying

Fragrance is the easiest line on a candle business's balance sheet to over-buy: it is light, it stores in a cupboard, and the per-gram number improves every time you scroll down the variant list. Think about the rupees, not the grams. ₹38,230 committed to Vanilla Bean is ₹38,230 not available for jars, wicks, wax, a second fragrance or advertising until the candles it makes are sold — and held six months, that is six months of cash on a shelf earning nothing and buying no flexibility.

Put the same money against real alternatives and the opportunity cost becomes concrete. ₹38,230 buys 63.7 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at 10 kg pricing. It buys 1,295 200 ml salsa jars at ₹29.50. It buys 4,049 Thick (C2) Eco Candle Wicks at ₹9.44. Or it buys eight kilograms of Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹36,438.40, with ₹1,791.60 left over — sixty per cent more oil, in a scent that two verified buyers in the marquee above liked enough to say so, for less money.

Turnover · 5,000 g of oil at 200 g candles, 8% load, 16 g each
How fast you clear 5 kg, and what it implies about your order book
Candles poured per month Oil used per month Months to clear 5 kg Reading
200 3,200 g 1.6 months 5 kg is a restocking quantity, not a commitment. Buy it.
100 1,600 g 3.1 months Comfortable. One scent at this rate justifies the holding.
52 832 g 6.0 months The edge of sensible for a fragrance that changes with age.
26 416 g 12.0 months A year of cash in a cupboard. Buy 1 kg or 2 kg instead.
10 160 g 31 months Do not buy 5 kg.

Our editorial judgement — judgement, not CSI policy — is that a six-month window is the outside edge for a vanillin-heavy fragrance, which puts the threshold for a 5 kg vanilla purchase at roughly 52 × 200 g candles a month in that one scent, about thirteen a week. CSI publishes no shelf-life figure and no recommended holding period, and has not tested that six-month number; it is a working rule drawn from how the chemistry behaves in general and how slowly a small brand's single-scent line moves. If your order book does not support fifty-odd vanilla candles a month, 5 kg is too much oil, and 1 kg or 2 kg is the order. The profitability maths and the scaling guide both come back to the same point: stock turns, not stock levels, are what make a candle business work.

The per-gram price of 5 kg is only a saving if you pour all five kilograms. Until then it is a number on a cupboard shelf.

What most people searching "5 kg vanilla" should actually buy

This is the section that costs us money. Read it anyway.

Two people type "buy 5 kg vanilla fragrance oil". The first already sells fifty to a hundred vanilla candles a month, knows exactly which vanilla, and wants the arithmetic and a quote — everything above is for them, and the WhatsApp line is the next step. The second is far more common and is about to make a mistake.

That buyer has not yet proved a vanilla candle sells in their range, at their price, to their customers. They have read that bulk is cheaper per gram, and here it barely is — the kilogram saves 0.44% against 500 g bottles on Vanilla Bean, and there is no published slab above 1 kg at all. The whole case for 5 kg rests on a discount that has not been quoted and may not exist. Here is the order we would actually recommend, at a fifth of the money.

1
Gourmand · spiced vanilla · the volume choice
Cinnamon Vanilla — buy 1 kg first
The cheapest vanilla in the family by a wide margin and, at ₹4.555 per gram, 40.4% cheaper than Vanilla Bean. Warm-spiced rather than straight, which in practice reads to most customers as a richer vanilla rather than a different scent, and it carries two verified four- and five-star reviews from CSI buyers. One kilogram at ₹4,554.80 pours 62 candles at 200 g and 8% — a whole market test, stall and stockist samples included, for 11.9% of what 5 kg of Vanilla Bean costs. If it sells out, buy five. If it does not, you learned that for ₹4,554.80 instead of ₹38,230.
Size Price Per gram 200 g candles @ 8%
15 g ₹106.20 ₹7.08 ≈1
50 g ₹271.40 ₹5.43 ≈3
100 g ₹483.80 ₹4.84 ≈6
500 g ₹2,301.00 ₹4.60 ≈31
1 kg ₹4,554.80 ₹4.555 ≈62
5 kg (5 × 1 kg) ₹22,774.00 ₹4.555 ≈312
₹72.88 of fragrance per 200 g candle at 1 kg pricing Buy Cinnamon Vanilla
2
Gourmand · straight vanilla · the premium line
Vanilla Bean — and its identical twin
The classic, unambiguous vanilla, worth paying for when the name on the label is doing the selling. Buy 5 kg of it only when the order book already justifies it. Dark Vanilla is priced identically at every single size — ₹130, ₹410, ₹790, ₹3,840, ₹7,646 — so there is no cost penalty for carrying both listings: 2 kg of each costs exactly what 4 kg of either costs. Expect white wax to deepen in colour over the months, per the section above.
Size Price Per gram 200 g candles @ 8%
15 g ₹130.00 ₹8.67 ≈1
50 g ₹410.00 ₹8.20 ≈3
100 g ₹790.00 ₹7.90 ≈6
500 g ₹3,840.00 ₹7.68 ≈31
1 kg ₹7,646.00 ₹7.646 ≈62
5 kg (5 × 1 kg) ₹38,230.00 ₹7.646 ≈312
₹122.34 of fragrance per 200 g candle at 1 kg pricing Buy Vanilla Bean
The split order almost nobody places, and probably should. For less than 5 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla costs, take 2 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla (₹9,109.60) plus 1 kg each of Dark Vanilla Oud (₹5,691) and Tobacco Vanilla (₹7,499) — ₹22,299.60 in total — and find out which vanilla your customers reorder before concentrating ₹38,230 in the dearest one. Three scents, four batch codes, four sets of test candles, one purchase. The per-gram price is worse. The information is worth far more than the difference.

And if you are not yet selling enough of anything to justify a kilogram, the fragrance oils collection ladders down to 15 g, 50 g and 100 g for exactly this reason. Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹483.80 for 100 g pours six 200 g candles at 8% — enough to photograph and put in front of a stockist, cheap enough that being wrong costs less than lunch. The bulk-buying guide, the premium-versus-cheap comparison and the 2026 fragrance round-up all approach the same decision from other directions. If you are buying festive, Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November — read how early to order for Diwali before deciding 5 kg is urgent.

For scale: the cheapest oil of the 92 is Citrus Lemon at ₹2,832/kg, and British Rose is joint third cheapest at ₹3,068/kg. Five kilograms of Vanilla Bean at ₹38,230 is 2.70 times what 5 kg of Citrus Lemon costs (₹14,160) — not an argument for lemon, but an argument for knowing which scent carries your fragrance budget. A weighing scale at ₹354 makes any of these numbers real: load is a weight percentage, and millilitres will not give you a repeatable batch.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA sells the oil this page argues you should buy less of. The convenient version of this article would open a 5 kg vanilla pack, put a made-up slab price on it and let you assume a discount. There is no such pack and no such slab, and we said so in the first screen rather than the last paragraph. The dearest vanilla here is ₹42,995 for 5 kg and the cheapest ₹22,774; we have recommended the cheap one, and then recommended buying one kilogram of it rather than five.

Every rupee figure here is either a live CSI variant price pulled in September 2026 or arithmetic on one, shown in full so you can check it. The 13% and 10% fragrance loads are the wax manufacturers' stated maximums for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — formulation limits describing how much oil each wax will hold, not regulatory limits, and not transferable between waxes. Yields treat fragrance load as a percentage of finished candle weight, the convention CSI's product pages use.

What we do not claim: no delivery time, no discount, no minimum order quantity, no credit term, no shelf life, no certification, no test result about how any specific CSI oil behaves in wax over time. CSI publishes none of those things, so this page states none of them. For a quote, GST invoicing, or MSDS and IFRA documentation for a specific batch, message WhatsApp +91 7397976926. Frequently asked questions

Does CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sell a 5 kg pack of vanilla fragrance oil?
No. Across all 92 fragrance oils the ladder goes no higher than 1 kg: 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg, with some oils missing sizes — Vanilla Orange Blossom has no 500 g variant. There is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance SKU. Buying 5 kg is entirely possible; it is five line items rather than one.
How much does 5 kg of vanilla fragrance oil cost in India from CSI?
Five times the 1 kg price. Vanilla Bean: 5 × ₹7,646 = ₹38,230. Dark Vanilla: ₹38,230, identical at every size. Tobacco Vanilla: ₹37,495. Dark Vanilla Oud: ₹28,455. Cinnamon Vanilla: ₹22,774. Vanilla Orange Blossom: ₹41,470. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco: ₹42,995. CSI live pricing, September 2026; the product pages are authoritative.
Do I get a bulk discount if I buy 5 kg instead of 1 kg?
The website price does not drop automatically above 1 kg. CSI publishes no volume slab, no rate beyond the listed variant prices, no minimum order quantity and no credit term, so five kilograms costs five times one kilogram unless something else is quoted to you directly. Message +91 7397976926 with the exact oils and quantities and ask. Build your costing on the listed price and treat anything better as upside — never plan a margin around an unconfirmed discount.
How many candles will 5 kg of vanilla fragrance oil make?
At an 8% load in a 200 g candle — 16 g of oil each — 5,000 g makes 312 candles. The same 5 kg makes 416 at 6%, 250 at 10% and 192 at 13%. In 100 g candles it makes 833 at 6% and 625 at 8%; in 300 g candles, 208 at 8% and 166 at 10%. The 13% figure is only available on a wax rated for it — Luxury Soy Wax Chunks up to 13%, CSI 464 up to 10%. Those 312 candles also need about 57.4 kg of wax.
Will 5 kg of vanilla oil go off, or discolour my wax, before I use it?
CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for its fragrance oils, and no test result about how its specific vanillas behave in wax over time — so this page will not invent one. What is a known general property of the chemistry is that vanillin-containing fragrances darken wax over time: a formulation characteristic, not a defect. The practical consequence of a large holding is that candles poured from your fifth bottle may not match those from your first. Pour a test candle from every bottle, keep a dated reference candle you never sell, pour the bottles in sequence, and record each batch code. For documented batch characteristics, request the MSDS and IFRA paperwork on WhatsApp.
Should I buy 5 kg of one vanilla or 1 kg each of five different ones?
If you already sell fifty-plus vanilla candles a month in one specific scent, buy the 5 kg — you will pour it inside six months. If you are not certain which vanilla sells, buy 1 kg of Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80 and prove it first. One kilogram pours 62 candles at 200 g and 8% — a real market test for 11.9% of a 5 kg Vanilla Bean commitment. Being wrong about ₹4,554.80 is a lesson. Being wrong about ₹38,230 is a cash-flow problem.
Five bottles, not one pack
₹38,230 for 5 kg of Vanilla Bean. ₹22,774 for the same weight of Cinnamon Vanilla. No pack above 1 kg, and no slab we have not published.
Seven vanilla-family oils from ₹4,554.80 to ₹8,599 per kilogram, 92 fragrance oils in stock, soy wax from ₹299 per 500 g with stated 10% and 13% formulation ceilings, Eco Candle Wicks from ₹59, and GST invoicing on every order. Ordering above 1 kg? Message us with the exact oils and quantities and ask for a quote — we would rather price a real order than publish a rate we cannot hold.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The yield arithmetic, the turnover table and the batch-record method apply to any supplier; the prices are CSI's own. The six-month holding window for a vanillin-heavy fragrance is our editorial judgement, not CSI policy and not a tested figure.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their own product pages — Dark Vanilla Fragrance, Cinnamon Vanilla (×2), Dark Vanilla Oud, Gardenia Fragrance Oil and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464. Four are vanilla-family reviews; none is a review of Vanilla Bean and none describes a 5 kg purchase, because no 5 kg pack exists. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me. "Verified buyer" appears only where Judge.me recorded it as verified; Suman Bisht's review is shown without that badge for that reason. Two longer reviews are shortened with an ellipsis and are otherwise unedited. No city is shown, because Judge.me does not store one.
