Candle Fragrance Oil Supplier Serving Ranchi
शेयर करना
What does it stock for a candle maker? 106 fragrance oils, 96 with at least one size available today, plus wax, wicks, jars, dyes, moulds and equipment. Oils come in 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg depending on the listing — 50 have a 15 g trial in stock and 87 a 1 kg bottle.
What does a Ranchi maker pay per candle? Oil at an 8% load in a 200 g candle runs from about ₹45.31 to well over ₹300. The three picks below sit at ₹80.43, ₹143.36 and ₹72.50.
Is CSI a manufacturer? No. CSI is a supplier, not a manufacturer of wax or oil, and it does not sell finished candles. So the specifications are the ones each product page publishes, and an SDS or IFRA paperwork request for a named oil goes to WhatsApp.
What CSI is, and what it is not
Start with the honest frame, because almost every "supplier in your city" page gets this wrong. CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA is an online supplier of candle raw materials — wax, fragrance oils, wicks, jars, moulds, dyes, additives and equipment. It does not blend the oils or manufacture the wax it sells, and it does not sell finished candles. It ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp. There is no CSI counter, godown or dealer in Ranchi, and this page will not invent one to read more local.
Read that again as a buyer and half of it is a strength. A tier-two maker usually chooses between a general shop keeping some wax and a few unlabelled fragrance bottles, or a specialist range with published numbers that arrives by post. The shop wins on immediacy. The range wins on everything a repeatable product needs — a stated load, a stated cure, a note structure, a price at five rungs, and a page you can re-read next year.
| What you need | A general shop you can walk into | A national specialist supplier | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smelling before buying | Yes — you open the bottle | No — you read a note pyramid | Buy the 15 g size, in stock on 50 oils, ₹68.44 to ₹199 |
| A stated fragrance load | Rarely printed | On 81 of 107 listings | Never buy for production without one; test at 8% anyway |
| A stated cure time | Almost never | On 62 of 107 listings | Follow the page, then add days — see the seasonal table |
| The same oil in six months | Depends what came in | Same listing, same stated specification | Record the handle and pack size on your recipe sheet |
| Something today, at 6 pm | Yes | No — it is posted | The real cost. Hold a working stock of your two best sellers |
| A price for 5 kg of one oil | Maybe negotiable | Not listed — 1 kg is the largest pack | Multiply the kilo price for a ceiling, then ask on WhatsApp |
One more thing said plainly: because CSI is a supplier, the specifications on a page are the ones published on that page. That is why this guide quotes them as statements — "the page states up to 10% in soy" — rather than as laboratory facts, and why the honest answer to "is this oil strong?" is never a number. Nobody publishes throw in square metres. A page gives you the structure of the blend and the load it will hold; the rest is your wax, wick, jar, cure and room.
What is actually on the shelf
Here is the range as numbers rather than adjectives, because numbers are what tell you whether a supplier is deep enough to build on. Across the 107 fragrance-oil listings — 106 oils plus one ultrasonic diffusion concentrate base — 96 of the 106 oils have at least one pack size in stock and ten are sold out in every size. Sold-out oils are still named here; they simply never get a buy button.
| Pack | Oils listing it | In stock now | Cheapest in stock | What that pack is for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 g trial | 55 | 50 | ₹68.44 — Eucalyptus Spearmint | Smelling and shortlisting. Barely one 120 g jar at 8% |
| 50 g | 89 | 79 | ₹170 — Citrus Lemon | Five 120 g test jars. The smallest honest pouring pack |
| 100 g | 104 | 92 | ₹300 — Citrus Lemon | Ten 120 g jars or six 200 g candles. The workhorse |
| 500 g | 82 | 75 | ₹1,420 — Citrus Lemon | 31 candles of 200 g. One season of a proven scent |
| 1 kg | 104 | 87 | ₹2,832 — Citrus Lemon | 62 candles of 200 g. The largest pack on the store |
| Above 1 kg | — | — | Not listed | Multiply the kilo price for a ceiling, then ask for a quote |
Two lines there matter. The 15 g rung only exists on about half the range — on the premium perfume-inspired blends the smallest pack is usually 50 g or 100 g, so a shortlisting budget has to be spent more carefully. And the 100 g rung is listed on 104 oils and in stock on 92, which makes it the most reliable size to build a first order around: ten 120 g jars from one bottle is enough to answer a real question.
What a product page tells you — and what it never will
This is the section that decides whether a remote supplier works for you, so it is a checklist rather than a pitch. The diagram counted the fields across all 107 listings; the table says what each is worth, and names the things that appear on no fragrance-oil page, so you never wonder whether you missed them.
| Field | Published? | What it is honestly worth to you |
|---|---|---|
| Usage / fragrance load | 81 of 107 | The most useful field. A formulation ceiling, not a regulatory one and not a target to beat |
| Cure time | 62 of 107 | Usually 48–72 hours for soy. Treat it as the minimum; standard practice for soy containers is 14–21 days |
| Note pyramid or profile | All but 5 listings | Tells you what is built to stay behind. Not how much of it is in the bottle |
| Vanillin / discolouration | 62 of 107 | Directly actionable. 0% means no expected yellowing in pale wax; "present" means plan your wax colour |
| Flash point | 51 of 107, only 18 measured | Thirty-two carry only a "> 93°C, suitable for alcohol-based products" threshold — a template line, never a number |
| IFRA wording | 71 of 107, in fifteen-plus phrasings | The page's own statement. No page gives a certificate, amendment or category number, and none is downloadable |
| Shelf life, expiry, storage | Zero pages | Nothing to quote, so this guide claims none — distrust any page that does |
| Throw or room coverage | Zero pages | Your own burn test is the only evidence that exists |
| Lab, GC-MS or batch data | Zero pages | Ask on WhatsApp for a named oil; never assume a document first |
The Ranchi year, season by season
Anyone selling you a "climate guide" full of temperature statistics for your city has probably invented them. What follows is material behaviour you can verify on your own bench, mapped onto the four working windows a Ranchi maker lives through. The city sits on the Chota Nagpur plateau, so its cold-weather weeks run genuinely cool — cooler than the plains cities at the same latitude — and its monsoon is properly wet. Those two pull your pour and your storage in opposite directions, which is why one blanket rule cannot cover the year.
| Window | Stored fragrance oil | The pour and the glass | The finished candle | What to change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cool months · roughly December to February | Noticeably thicker in a cold room; slow to pour, clings to the bottle neck | Wax skins faster; cold glass pulls wax off the wall, so wet spots and sink holes appear more often | Firm and stable, no softening — the kindest window of the year for stock and gifting | Bring oil to room temperature before weighing. Warm the jars. Allow the long end of the cure, 14–21 days |
| Pre-monsoon warmth · roughly March to May | Thin and easy to weigh; vapour escapes faster from an open bottle | Wax cools slowly, which helps adhesion; overheating is the risk, not chilling | Softer in an unconditioned room; a carton can arrive warm | Weigh quickly and re-cap. Watch the thermometer, not the clock. Store finished stock off a sunlit wall |
| Monsoon · roughly June to September | Damp air, not heat, is the problem. Condensation forms on a cool bottle in a humid room | Jars and wicks pick up moisture; labels lift; cartons soften | Cloudy glass, poor label adhesion, a slower cure in a damp room | Wipe bottle necks and jar rims dry before every pour. Wicks in a closed box. Cure lids-on in a sealed carton |
| Festive and wedding run · roughly October to January | High turnover, so having the bottle on the shelf matters more than viscosity | Rooms cool as the run progresses; one recipe can behave differently in October and December | The best-behaved candles of the year, and the slowest to full throw | Log room and pour temperature per batch. Order oil for the whole run at once |
The most Ranchi-specific line there is the cure one. Curing is not a clock; it runs slower in a cool room. A jar that reaches full scent in ten days in a warm coastal city may still be improving at day eighteen on the plateau in January — which is why the instinct to "burn it on day three because it smells of nothing" is so expensive in a Ranchi winter. One CSI customer, Arzoo Vyas, describes the same fight from the other end of the bench: "So I live in a very cold region and it was becoming very difficult for me to maintain the temperature. My temperature would drop within seconds due to which I was not getting a good hot throw." The mechanism is in why your candle needs a 14-day cure, and the cool-glass side in why candles get wet spots and sinkholes.
| Occasion | When it lands | What sells | Where the pressure falls |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sarhul and the spring weeks | Spring | Green, floral and earthy; small votives, craft-market pieces | Low volume, high variety — a 15 g and 50 g season |
| Durga Puja | The weeks before Diwali | Sandalwood, rose, jasmine, mogra; stalls and hamper sets | The first real volume test of the year |
| Diwali | 8 November 2026 | Warm woods, spice, vanilla, citrus; gift boxes, corporate sets | The peak. Oil on the shelf weeks before, because cure follows pouring |
| Christmas | Late December | Cinnamon, orange, pine-and-wood, vanilla; a substantial gifting season here | Overlaps the Diwali cure window — one run, not two |
| Wedding season | Roughly November to February | Rose, oud, tuberose, sandalwood; favours in the hundreds, one or two scents | Volume in few scents — where a 500 g or 1 kg bottle earns its place |
| Makar Sankranti and winter fairs | January | Warm, comforting, low-cost; tealights and small jars | Clears festive leftovers if the scents were planned to overlap |
Three oils for a Ranchi shelf
Three oils for three different jobs on a Ranchi shelf, each with what its own page states and what it costs per candle. Every card shows the full pack ladder, so you can see where the price per gram stops falling — on two of these three it stops at 100 g, which is worth knowing before you reach for a kilo.

How a maker in Ranchi orders
Five steps, in the order that wastes the least money. None of them depends on knowing a delivery date, which is the point: the sequence is built so the one thing you cannot control is never the thing your deadline rests on.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and does not manufacture the wax or blend the fragrance oils it sells. That is the whole reason this page names what it cannot do. There is no CSI shop, warehouse, dealer or office in Ranchi; there is no published transit time, courier or shipping rate; and there is no local price list. CSI ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp, and that is the entire claim. A page that invented the rest would cost a Ranchi maker a deadline, and a maker who misses a Diwali deadline does not order again.
Every price, pack size and specification here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Stated loads, cure times, note pyramids, vanillin figures and flash points are quoted only where a page publishes them, and flash points only where a measured value is given — 18 of the 107 listings. Where a page states nothing, the tables above say so. No shelf life, storage specification, throw distance, room coverage, lab result or certificate number appears on this page, because none appears on any CSI fragrance-oil page. The seasonal notes describe general material behaviour a maker can verify on their own bench; they contain no temperature or humidity statistics for Ranchi, because none are published.
