Candle Grade Soy Wax Supplier in India
शेयर करना
Does CSI publish specs? For CSI 464, Chunks and CSI 468; not yet for Pearl, Eco 400 or Pillar Wax.
How do I test a supplier? Buy 1 kg of the exact wax, pour your real candle, then check the bulk bag matches.
Is candle grade a standard? No legal standard — judge by the published spec.
"Candle grade" is not a legal standard; it is a promise. The honest test is what the supplier publishes: fragrance load, pour temperature, form, shelf life. Where a spec is missing, ask for it before you buy.
The checklist, applied to CSI
| Check | Why it matters | Where CSI stands |
|---|---|---|
| Stated fragrance load | Sets your formula ceiling | Published for CSI 464 (10%), Chunks (13%), CSI 468 (13%); not published for Pearl, Eco Soy 400 or Soy Pillar Wax |
| Pour / fragrance-add temperature | Repeatable results | Published for CSI 468 (58–60°C pour) and Eco Soy 400 (add at 80–90°C); CSI 464's page lists 80–90°C for both melt and pour |
| Form | Weighing and melting speed | Flakes (464, 468), chunks (Chunks, Eco 400, Pillar), pearls (Pearl) |
| Shelf life | How much you can safely hold | Published as 60 months (cool, dry) for CSI 464 and CSI 468 |
| Pack range | Test small, scale the same wax | 500 g or 1 kg to 10 kg on most; 50 kg on Pearl; Eco 400 to 5 kg |
| Published prices | No quote-chasing for normal sizes | Every pack is priced online |
| GST invoice | Input credit | On request |
| Batch consistency | The next bag behaves like this one | Ask for batch details on WhatsApp for large orders; keep your own batch log |
The test that settles it
Reading a candle-grade spec: what each published number lets you decide
A spec earns the name candle grade only if you can act on it. Here is what each number on CSI's soy wax pages actually lets you decide, and where you still have to test.
Fragrance load: check what it is a percentage of
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks states a maximum of 13% of wax weight. CSI's candle maths uses a different base: fragrance at 8% of the total candle weight. They are not the same number. In a 200 g candle at 8% of total, 16 g of oil sits in 184 g of wax, which is 8.7% of wax weight (16 ÷ 184). Before you compare a stated load with your formula, put both on the same base. The CSI 464 (up to 10%) and CSI 468 (up to 13%) figures do not spell out their base in the specs we hold, so ask on WhatsApp if your formula runs close to either limit.
A stated maximum is a formulation limit: the most the wax is said to hold. It is not a regulatory limit, and it is not advice to use that much.
Temperatures: know which kind you are reading
CSI 468 publishes a melt point of 50–53°C and a pour temperature of 58–60°C. Two events, two numbers: enough to write a repeatable pour. Eco Soy CSI 400 publishes something else: add fragrance at 80–90°C and stir for 2 minutes. That is a mixing instruction, not a pour temperature. CSI 464's page gives 80–90°C for both melt point and pour, which reads as a heating range; do not copy it into your formula as a melt point.
Shelf life: read the condition, not just the number
CSI 464 states 60 months in cool, dry storage, and CSI 468 states 60 months. In a room that reaches 40–45°C in May, cool is a condition you have to create. The number protects you only if your storage does.
Form: a handling spec, not a quality grade
Flakes, chunks and pearls tell you how a wax will behave on your scale and in your pot. They tell you nothing on their own about throw, adhesion or finish.

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We publish every pack price, so every per-kilogram and per-candle figure here can be checked against the product pages — including the ones that show a bigger bag is not cheaper.
Prices are taken from live CSI stock in September 2026. Where a product page does not publish a specification, this guide says so rather than filling the gap.

Collection counts: Candle Wax 15, Fragrance Oils 93, Candle Wicks 7, Containers 81, Moulds 62, Dyes 25.
Assumptions: Fragrance load 8% of total candle weight, so wax is 92% of the fill (a 200 g candle = 184 g wax + 16 g oil). Order plans add a 5% wastage allowance (10% where stated for festive buffers). "Cheapest listed packs" is the lowest-cost combination of listed pack sizes, preferring fewer bags when prices tie within a few rupees. Candle counts are rounded down. Costs are core materials only and exclude jar, label, packaging, labour, freight and GST unless stated. Wax stated fragrance maximums are the wax maker's formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Pack sizes not listed on the store (2, 20, 25, 100 kg) are shown as combinations of listed packs; larger quantities are quoted on WhatsApp. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November.
