The same 150 g candle built three ways from live CSI stock, so you can see exactly which raw-material line buys the premium and which one does not.
₹199.32
the materials step from an everyday to a premium 150 g candle · 71% of it is the vessel and the oil · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Which raw material makes a candle feel premium? The vessel first, the fragrance second. On a 150 g candle, moving to a premium vessel adds ₹77.50 and a premium oil adds ₹63.25 — together 71% of the whole premium step. The wax grade adds ₹19.44.

What do premium candle materials cost per candle in India? At a 150 g fill and an 8% load, an everyday build is ₹148.69 in CSI materials and a premium build is ₹348.01. Outer packaging, labels, courier and labour are not CSI costs and are yours to add.

Do I need a more expensive wax for a premium candle? Usually not first. Coconut Soy CSI 468 at ₹637.00/kg adds only ₹19.44 to a 150 g candle over CSI 464. If your tops are sinking or your scent fades, fix pour temperature and cure before you change grade.

How much fragrance oil should a premium candle carry? Work to the lower of the two published ceilings. CSI 468 publishes up to 13% of wax weight; White Royal Oud publishes 6–10%, so 10% governs. At 8% a 150 g candle takes 12 g, costing ₹97.24 with that oil.
The short answer
Spend here first: the vessel and the oil. Black Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹107.00 each and White Royal Oud at ₹8.10/g are ₹140.75 of the ₹199.32 step.
Spend here second: the wick, tested in your exact vessel — Performance Wooden Wicks at ₹41.30 each at 100, against ₹5.90 for an Eco C1.
Spend nothing here and gain most: a full 14–21 day cure, a measured pour temperature and a consistent fill height. None of those is a purchase, and all three are what a premium buyer actually registers.

What it shows: the per-candle cost difference between an everyday build (₹148.69) and a premium build (₹348.01) of the same 150 g candle at an 8% fragrance load, broken down by line. Deliberately left out: outer packaging, printed labels, ribbon, courier, labour and electricity — none of them CSI costs, none of them estimated here — and any retail price or margin, which depend on your own channel.
Straight answer
How should a premium candle brand choose its raw materials?
Decide what each of five lines is allowed to cost per candle, and spend in the order the buyer meets them. On a 150 g fill at an 8% load of wax weight, an everyday build costs ₹148.69 in CSI materials and a premium build costs ₹348.01. Of that ₹199.32 step, the vessel takes ₹77.50 (a 200ml Salsa jar at ₹29.50 against a Black Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹107.00) and the fragrance oil takes ₹63.25 (Citrus Lemon at ₹2.83/g against White Royal Oud at ₹8.10/g) — 71% between them. The wick takes ₹35.40 if you move to a wooden wick, and the wax grade takes only ₹19.44 moving from CSI 464 to Coconut Soy CSI 468, which is 10% of the step. Set the load at the lower of the wax's and the oil's published ceilings, prefer oils whose pages publish a usage range and an IFRA statement, and remember that the three changes a premium buyer notices most — a full 14–21 day cure, a measured pour temperature and a consistent fill height — cost nothing at all. Outer packaging, labels, ribbon, courier and labour are not CSI costs and carry no figure here.
One line: Buy the premium in the vessel and the fragrance, fix the load at the lower published ceiling, and spend nothing extra on the cure that makes both of them read properly.
The premium step, priced: the same 150 g candle costs ₹148.69 in everyday materials and ₹348.01 in premium ones. Of the ₹199.32 difference, the vessel and the fragrance oil are 71% and the wax grade is 10%. Spend where the customer can see and smell.

Premium is five lines on an invoice, not a feeling

Every premium candle in India is made of the same five purchasable things as every cheap one. What changes is how much of the budget each line gets.

A finished scented candle is wax, fragrance oil, a wick, a vessel and finishing. That is the whole material list. Packaging sits outside it, and so do labour, electricity and the box — those are not CSI costs and this page leaves them blank for you to fill in. Which means the question “how do I choose raw materials for a premium brand” has a concrete answer: decide what each of the five lines is allowed to cost, in rupees, per candle.

This page uses a 150 g wax fill at an 8% fragrance load of wax weight — 12 g of oil — as its unit, because that is a common Indian jar size and the vessels CSI stocks at that capacity are easy to price. Every figure is live CSI stock in September 2026, taxes included. Three builds are costed: an everyday build at ₹148.69, a considered build at ₹253.42 and a premium build at ₹348.01.

The interesting part is not the totals. It is the shape of the gap. Moving from the everyday build to the premium one costs ₹199.32 per candle. The vessel takes ₹77.50 of that and the fragrance oil takes ₹63.25 — together ₹140.75, or 71% of the step. The wax grade, the line most new brands agonise over, takes ₹19.44, which is 10%. If you only have room to upgrade two lines, the arithmetic has already told you which two.

The CSI principle
Premium is bought in the vessel and the fragrance. Everything else is craft.
On a 150 g candle, moving from an everyday vessel and oil to a premium pair costs ₹140.75. Moving from one soy container grade to a coconut-soy blend costs ₹19.44.

What a buyer actually notices, in order

Order your spending in the order the customer meets the candle.

A buyer in a Bengaluru gifting store or on an Instagram grid meets the candle in a fixed sequence, and material choices should follow that sequence rather than the order a maker finds interesting.

The order of perception
What the buyer meets first, and which material controls it
Order What they meet The material behind it What it costs per 150 g candle
1 The object on a shelf or in a photograph Vessel ₹29.50 to ₹107.00, and higher
2 The smell when the lid comes off Fragrance oil and load ₹33.98 to ₹97.24 at 12 g
3 The top surface and the fill line Wax grade plus your process and cure ₹76.11 to ₹95.55
4 How it lights and how it burns Wick, tested in your exact vessel ₹5.90 to ₹41.30
5 The scent an hour later, in the room Load, cure length and wick size together no extra material cost
6 The care card, the clean rim, the lid fit Finishing ₹3.20 to ₹6.92
Priced above: 200ml Salsa Glass Jar with 63mm Lug Cap 100 Pcs ₹2,950.00 (₹29.50 each); Black Glass Jar with Black Lid pack of 10 ₹1,070.00 (₹107.00 each); Citrus Lemon Fragrance Oil 1 kg ₹2,832.00 (₹2.83/g); White Royal Oud 1 kg ₹8,103.00 (₹8.10/g); Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 ₹507.40/kg; Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 5 kg ₹3,185.00 (₹637.00/kg); Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) ₹5.90 each at 100; Performance Wooden Wicks ₹41.30 each at 100; Candle Care Stickers Roll 1000 for ₹699.00 (₹0.70 each); Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100.00 (₹2.50 each); Large Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹249.00 (₹6.23 each). Prices include taxes.

Two things on that list cost nothing and are where most Indian brands are quietly losing the premium argument. Position five — the scent an hour later — is a function of load, cure length and wick size, not of a dearer oil. A 14–21 day cure costs you patience and shelf space, not rupees, and it is the single change that makes a mid-priced oil read as expensive. Position three is the same story: a flat, clean top with no sink-hole around the wick comes from pour temperature and ambient control, and a thermometer at ₹354.00 buys more perceived quality than a wax upgrade does.

There is a second-order effect worth naming. A premium buyer is not comparing your candle with a cheap one; they are comparing it with the last premium one they bought. Consistency therefore reads as quality. Two candles from the same SKU that smell different, or whose fill heights differ by half a centimetre, undo an expensive vessel instantly. That is why the material choices below are paired with the discipline to keep them fixed.

Scale that to a hundred candles and the decision gets easier to feel. A hundred everyday candles cost ₹14,869.30 in CSI materials; a hundred premium ones cost ₹34,801.00. The gap is ₹19,931.70 — a real number to weigh against what the premium version can be sold for, which is your own call and is not estimated here.

Notice also that the middle build exists for a reason. Going from everyday to considered costs ₹104.73 and buys a glass jar with a metal lid and an oud-family oil, which is most of the visible premium step. The last leg to the full premium build costs another ₹94.59 and buys a crackling wooden wick and a heavier vessel. Many Indian brands find their market at the middle build and spend the difference on the box instead — which is a legitimate choice, and one this page cannot price for you.

Line by line: what to buy and what it buys you

Five decisions. Take them in the order the customer meets them, not the order the recipe is written in.

1. The vessel — the largest and most visible line

The vessel is the only material the buyer can evaluate before they own the candle, and on a premium build it is the single biggest line. CSI's container range runs from a 200ml Salsa Glass Jar with 63mm Lug Cap at ₹29.50 each at 100 Pcs, through matte colours at ₹70.80 each, to a Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid at ₹94.40 and a Black Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹107.00. Above those sit a Ceramic Jar at ₹129.80, an Apothecary Glass Candle Jar with Dome Lid at ₹212.40 for a 500 gm capacity, and a reusable clip-top airtight container at ₹229.00.

Vessel ladder, per unit at the best listed pack
What each step up the container ladder costs
Vessel Per unit Pack What it signals
200ml Salsa Glass Jar, lug cap ₹29.50 100 Pcs Clean and plain; the lid is the giveaway
White Matte Glass Jar ₹70.80 Pack of 5 or 10 Matte finish reads more considered than gloss
Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid ₹94.40 Pack of 10 or 20 Metal lid; wax colour is on show, so finish must be clean
Black Glass Jar with Black Lid ₹107.00 Pack of 10 or 20 Hides frosting and wax colour; heavy in the hand
Ceramic Jar ₹129.80 Single Reusable object; survives the candle
Apothecary Jar with Dome Lid ₹212.40 500 gm capacity Large-format centrepiece; needs multiple wicks
Clip-top airtight container ₹229.00 Single Kitchen-object cue; strong reuse story

One honest warning about clear glass. A transparent vessel shows everything your process does to the wax: frosting, wet spots where the wax pulled from the glass, a sunken ring around the wick. Black and matte vessels forgive all three. If your process is not yet consistent, a black jar at ₹107.00 is a better premium buy than a clear one at ₹94.40, because the cheaper mistake is invisible. That is the opposite of what most brands assume.

2. The fragrance oil — the line with the widest range

Fragrance is where CSI's price range is widest, and where a premium brand can spend a great deal very quickly. At a 12 g dose on a 150 g candle, an everyday citrus costs ₹33.98 and a designer-inspired oil can cost ₹288.67 — more than the entire everyday candle, vessel included.

Twelve grams of oil, priced at the 1 kg pack
The fragrance tier ladder on one 150 g candle at 8%
Fragrance oil ₹ per gram at 1 kg Cost of a 12 g dose Published soy usage on the page
Citrus Lemon ₹2.83 ₹33.98 Soy 6–10% of total wax weight
British Rose ₹3.07 ₹36.82 Soy up to 10% of total wax weight; 0% vanillin
Woody Oud ₹4.53 ₹54.37 Soy 6–10% of total wax weight
Dark Vanilla Oud ₹5.69 ₹68.29 6–10% of total wax weight; page states IFRA certification
Vanilla Bean ₹7.65 ₹91.75 Up to 10% for soy; page states 2.5% vanillin
White Royal Oud ₹8.10 ₹97.24 6–10% of total wax weight; page states IFRA certification
Gilli Mitti Patchouli ₹8.96 ₹107.52 6–10% across all wax types; page states IFRA certification
Club De Nuit Intense inspired ₹24.06 ₹288.67 Not published — ask on WhatsApp
Priced above: per-gram rates at the 1 kg pack — Citrus Lemon ₹2,832.00, British Rose ₹3,068.00, Woody Oud ₹4,531.20, Dark Vanilla Oud ₹5,691.00, Vanilla Bean ₹7,646.00, White Royal Oud ₹8,103.00, Gilli Mitti Patchouli ₹8,960.00, Club De Nuit Intense inspired ₹24,056.00. Usage ranges, vanillin figures and IFRA statements are quoted from each product page. Where a page publishes nothing, the cell says so.

Three rules matter more than the price ladder. First, the lower ceiling governs: the wax's published maximum and the oil's published range both apply, and you work to whichever is lower. CSI 468 publishes up to 13% of wax weight; White Royal Oud publishes 6–10%; the working maximum for that pair is 10%. Second, a premium brand should prefer oils whose pages actually publish a usage range and an IFRA statement, because a premium buyer — and every corporate buyer — will eventually ask for documentation. Where a page publishes nothing, the honest answer is that it is not published; ask on WhatsApp for MSDS and IFRA paperwork before you build a range on it.

Third, watch vanillin if your premium look depends on white wax in clear glass. The Vanilla Bean page states 2.5% vanillin and warns of potential discolouration; British Rose states 0% vanillin and no yellowing. Discolouration is cosmetic, not a fault — but on a premium shelf, cosmetic is the whole argument. Pair vanillin-carrying oils with a black or matte vessel, or accept the amber tone as part of the design. One customer's note on Gardenia Tuberose is a useful reminder that concentration varies: “I found the ingredients to be of good quality… It is highly concentrated.” A concentrated oil may do its work at 7% where another needs 10%, which changes the cost of that line by a third.

3. The wax — the line to get right and then stop thinking about

Wax is the largest line by weight and one of the smallest by perceived difference. Between CSI 464 at ₹507.40/kg and Coconut Soy CSI 468 at ₹637.00/kg at the 5 kg pack, a 150 g candle moves by ₹19.44. What that buys is a coconut-soy blend whose page describes an ultra-smooth, creamy finish with minimal frosting and excellent glass adhesion, a published melting point of 50–53°C and a pour temperature of 58–60°C, a ceiling of up to 13% of wax weight and a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. Those published figures are worth real money to a brand that has to repeat a formula, quite apart from any difference in the finished candle.

Against CSI's own interest: if your process is not yet stable, the wax upgrade is the wrong first purchase. A creamier blend does not fix a sunken top caused by pouring too hot or a scent that faded because the candle shipped on day four. CSI 464 is described on its page as a 100% soy single-pour container wax with excellent glass adhesion, a creamy opaque finish, low frosting and minimal blooming, a ceiling of up to 10% and the same 60-month shelf life; its product page gives 80–90°C as the working range for melting and pouring. For most premium brands it is enough, and the ₹19.44 is better spent on the vessel.

Where a coconut-soy blend genuinely earns its place is the top surface in a clear vessel and the ability to work above 10% when the oil allows it. If you sell in clear glass, pour in a humid Mumbai monsoon and want a consistently smooth face, CSI 468's lower pour window of 58–60°C gives you a different set of variables to control — not an easier set. CSI also lists Premium Coconut Soy Wax at ₹920.00/kg, a blend of non-GMO soy and virgin coconut oil, but it publishes no fragrance ceiling and no temperatures, which makes it a harder grade to write a premium specification around.

4. The wick — the line that decides whether the rest worked

A wick costs between ₹5.90 and ₹41.30 and controls whether an expensive oil ever reaches the room. CSI's Eco Candle Wicks come in Thin (C1) at ₹5.90 each at 100 and Thick (C2) at ₹9.44, in cotton and paper fibres for natural waxes. Performance Wooden Wicks are imported, supplied with tabs, and are the one wick choice a customer can hear: the crackle is a premium cue in its own right. They cost ₹59.00 each in a pack of ten, falling to ₹41.30 at a hundred.

Wooden wicks are not a drop-in upgrade. They light differently, they need trimming differently, and they change the melt pool, so a range that moves to wooden wicks needs a fresh burn test in every vessel diameter. CSI does not publish per-wick sizing tables, so the wick guide by diameter is a starting point and your own test burn is the decision. For vessels wider than 8 cm, Cotton Braided Wicks Ready Made at ₹12.00 each are sold for large diameters, and a large-format jar will usually need more than one.

5. Finishing — small money, disproportionate effect

Finishing is the cheapest premium line and the one most often skipped. A candle care sticker costs ₹0.70 each in a roll of 1000, or ₹0.83 in the 500 roll; it goes under the base and tells the buyer to trim the wick to 5 mm and burn to a full pool. A Large Candle Wick Sticker at ₹6.23 holds a heavier wick or a multi-wick layout steady while the wax sets, against ₹2.50 for the standard one. Isopropyl Alcohol Spray at ₹383.00 for 150 ml cleans the glass before you pour, which is the difference between a clear jar that looks finished and one that looks used. A Steel Scraper at ₹236.00 keeps the rim clean.

Colour is optional and easy to overdo. Candle Dye Liquid is concentrated — one customer describes a small amount as enough to give a good pastel shade — and premium ranges usually read better undyed or barely tinted. Gold Mica at ₹11.20/g in the 100 gm pack is a surface accent, not a body colour. Candle Liquid Shiner is listed at ₹1,150.00 for 500 ml; stock on it is thin at the moment, so check availability before you plan a run around it.

Building a festive premium range for Diwali (8 November 2026)? A 14–21 day cure plus shipping means pouring by about mid-October, so vessels and oils need to be on your bench now. Black Glass Jar with Black Lid ₹107.00 each · White Royal Oud ₹8.10/g at 1 kg · Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹637.00/kg at 5 kg.

The premium costs CSI cannot price for you

Half of what a buyer calls premium is not a raw material at all, and no honest supplier can put a number on it.

CSI sells wax, fragrance, wicks, vessels, colour, finishing items and tools. It does not sell outer cartons, mailers, printed labels, ribbon, tissue, insert cards, shrink wrap or courier service, and it does not publish freight rates or delivery times. Those lines are real and often large on a premium candle, so the worksheet below gives each one its own blank. Do not let anyone fill them in with a typical figure, including us.

Every other line is deliberately blank. CSI does not sell or publish those costs and none is estimated here.
Fill the blanks once, then treat them as fixed

Get one real quotation for your box, label and mailer at the quantity you actually order, write the per-unit figures into the sheet, and date them. Then recost the candle. Most premium brands discover their packaging block is comparable to their entire CSI material cost of ₹348.01, which is exactly the kind of thing you want to know before you set a price rather than after. Re-quote when your order quantity changes, not when your mood does.

Turning the choices into a written specification

A premium brand is a brand that can pour the same candle twice.

Choosing the materials is the easy half. Writing them down so that the second batch matches the first is what makes a range look premium on a shelf beside itself. Four steps, in this order.

1
1. Choose the vessel first and let it set the constraintsThe vessel fixes the fill weight, the diameter, the number of wicks and much of the cost. Pick it before the wax and before the scent. Write down its product handle, its stated capacity and its pack size, because a vessel you cannot reorder is a range you cannot repeat — the Black Glass Jar with Black Lid, for example, is listed in packs of 10 and 20 at ₹107.00 each.
2
2. Choose the oil, then set the load at the lower ceilingRead the oil page's candle usage range and the wax page's maximum, and work to whichever is lower. CSI 468 publishes up to 13% of wax weight; White Royal Oud publishes 6–10%; you work at 10% or below. Write the load as a percentage of wax weight and the dose in grams on the same line — 8% of a 150 g fill is 12 g — so nobody has to recompute it at eleven at night.
3
3. Test the wick in that exact vessel with that exact oilWick size is a function of diameter, wax and oil together, and it is not published per wick. Pour three candles at your chosen wick size and three one size up, cure them 14–21 days, and burn both to a full pool. Record pool diameter at two hours, flame height, and the surface after the candle cools. A wooden wick at ₹41.30 needs the same test as a cotton one at ₹5.90 — more so, because it behaves differently.
4
4. Fix the finish and write the whole thing on one cardCleaning spray before the pour, sticker placement, fill height, lid handling, care sticker under the base. One card per SKU, with the product handles on it, dated and versioned. When a material changes — a different oil, a different vessel, a different wax — the version number changes and the burn test repeats. Keep a Pen Thermometer at ₹354.00 on the bench so the temperatures on the card are measured rather than remembered.
A premium candle is an ordinary candle that nobody was allowed to rush.

Where premium material budgets get wasted

Three of these are expensive. All of them are avoidable on paper.
Buying a dearer oil and keeping the same load and cure. A brand moves from a ₹2.83/g oil to one at ₹8.10/g, adds ₹63.25 per candle, ships on day three as before, and hears the same complaint that the scent is weak. The mechanism is that soy throw keeps developing well past the first days — the Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page itself asks for a minimum of 48 hours and says ideally one to two weeks, and 14–21 days is standard practice across the trade for soy container candles. A costlier oil poured into an unchanged process buys almost nothing. Fix: hold the cure before you upgrade the oil. If the everyday oil smells right at day twenty-one, you have found ₹63.25 per candle that you do not need to spend.
Loading a premium oil past the lower of the two published ceilings. A wax page says up to 13% of wax weight and the maker reads that as permission, while the oil page says 6–10%. At a 150 g fill, 13% is 19.5 g against 12 g at 8% — an extra ₹60.77 of oil per candle for a load the oil page does not support. In general practice, oil beyond what the wax can bind shows up as a greasy film or droplets on the surface, which is worse in a hot Indian summer and ruinous on a premium shelf. Fix: work to the lower ceiling, write it on the formula card, and if the scent still reads weak at that load, change the oil rather than the percentage.

The third waste has no drama. It is buying premium vessels in the smallest pack. A White Matte Glass Jar is ₹70.80 each whether you buy five or ten, but several CSI vessels do step down with pack size — and every extra order carries its own delivery charge, which is a cost customers have told us plainly they feel. Consolidating vessels, wax and oil into one order is a saving that has nothing to do with the per-unit rate. Ask on WhatsApp for a quote to your pincode before you split a premium order in two.

Finally, a note on documentation, because premium buyers ask for it and gifting buyers insist on it. CSI provides GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request via WhatsApp. Build that request into your sourcing routine before a corporate buyer asks, not after — a premium brand that cannot produce paperwork for its own fragrance is not premium in the only sense that matters to a purchase officer in a Gurugram office.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and the honest core of this page argues against its own basket size: the wax grade — the line a supplier would most like to upsell — is worth only a few rupees a candle in perceived difference, and the three changes that most improve a premium candle (a full cure, a measured pour temperature and a consistent fill) cost nothing and are bought from nobody. Where a product page does not publish a usage range, a vanillin figure or an IFRA statement, this page says so rather than estimating, and points to WhatsApp for documentation.

Every price on this page comes from live CSI stock in September 2026, taxes included, and the linked product pages are authoritative if anything changes. The three builds are illustrative specifications on a stated unit — a 150 g wax fill with an 8% fragrance load of wax weight (12 g of oil), one wick, one vessel, one wick sticker and one care sticker — not recommendations for any particular brand, and no retail price or margin is implied. Published specifications are quoted from product pages and attributed. Costs CSI does not sell — outer cartons, mailers, printed labels, ribbon, tissue, insert cards, courier, freight, labour, electricity and rent — are left as blank lines for the reader and are never estimated. Nothing here is tax, licensing or business-compliance advice; ask your own adviser.

Message WhatsApp +91 7397976926 for bulk pricing, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation for a specific fragrance oil, the unpublished figures on a grade or an oil, stock depth on a vessel before you commit a range to it, or a delivery quote to your pincode so vessels, wax and oil arrive in one consignment.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to make a candle look more premium?
Change the vessel. Moving from a 200ml Salsa jar at ₹29.50 to a Black Glass Jar with Black Lid at ₹107.00 costs ₹77.50 per candle and is the first thing a buyer sees. A matte or black vessel also hides frosting and wet spots that clear glass exposes.
Is coconut soy wax better than soy wax for a premium candle?
It is different, and it publishes more. Coconut Soy CSI 468 states a melting point of 50–53°C, a pour temperature of 58–60°C, a ceiling of up to 13% of wax weight and a 60-month shelf life, and its page describes an ultra-smooth creamy finish with minimal frosting. It adds ₹19.44 to a 150 g candle over CSI 464. Whether a buyer can tell depends far more on your pour and cure than on the grade.
Should a premium candle use a wooden wick?
Only after testing. The crackle is a genuine premium cue and the one a customer can hear. Performance Wooden Wicks cost ₹41.30 each at 100 against ₹5.90 for an Eco C1, and they light, trim and pool differently, so every vessel diameter needs a fresh burn test before you switch a range over.
How much can I spend on fragrance oil per candle?
At a 12 g dose on a 150 g candle, CSI's range runs from ₹33.98 for Citrus Lemon to ₹288.67 for a designer-inspired oil — more than an entire everyday candle. The useful ceiling is whatever your own price point supports; the useful floor is an oil whose page publishes a soy usage range so you can document the load.
Do premium buyers ask for documentation?
Corporate and gifting buyers frequently do. CSI provides GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request via WhatsApp +91 7397976926. Prefer fragrance oils whose pages state IFRA certification if documentation matters to your channel, and request the paperwork when you first order rather than when a purchase officer asks.
Does a premium candle need dye or mica?
Rarely. Candle Dye Liquid is concentrated and a small amount gives a pastel shade, and most premium ranges read better undyed. Gold Mica at ₹11.20/g in the 100 gm pack works as a surface accent rather than a body colour. Colour is also one more variable to keep consistent across batches.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The method — cost a candle as five lines, rank spending by the order a buyer meets the candle, set the fragrance load at the lower of the wax's and the oil's published ceilings, and separate materials a supplier can price from packaging and services it cannot — applies to any candle maker, with any supplier, in any market.
