Two facts decide this order before any arithmetic: there is no 200 ml reed bottle on the shelf, and 2,000 bottles is more than eight times the glass in stock.

I Am Making 200 ml Reed Diffusers for Corporate Gifting During Summer — How Do I Calculate Fragrance Oil and Base Requirements for a 2,000-Unit Order?
Start with the two constraints rather than the spreadsheet. CSI lists no 200 ml reed diffuser bottle — the Gold Reed Diffuser Bottle has exactly two variants, 50 ML and 120 ML, both packs of ten — so a 200 ml specification has no vessel behind it and the liquid has to be recomputed at a size that exists. And 2,000 bottles is 8.33 times the 120 ml glass currently in stock. That is a stock position rather than a pack-size limit, which is exactly why this order starts as a conversation and not as a cart.
8.33×
2,000 gifted units against the 240 bottles of 120 ml glass listed in stock today — glass, not liquid, is the line that decides this order · CSI live per-variant stock, October 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Can I get 200 ml reed bottles? Not from the listed range. The reed bottle listing has two variants only: 50 ML Pack of 10 at ₹826 and 120 ML Pack of 10 at ₹1,062. There is no 100 ml and no 200 ml. Its own body copy says "Size: 50 and 100ml" against those 50/120 ML variants — we name that inconsistency and route it rather than resolve it. Ask about a 200 ml vessel before you print a spec sheet.
So what do I calculate instead? The same order at 120 ml. At the published 25% ratio that is 90 ml of base plus 30 g of oil a bottle, so 2,000 units need 180,000 ml of base — 360 packs of 500 ml — and 60 kg of oil. At 50 ml it halves and more: 75,000 ml of base in 150 packs, and 25 kg of oil.
What is the binding line? Glass, three times over. Listed stock is 24 packs of the 120 ML (240 bottles) and 16 packs of the 50 ML (160 bottles) — 400 bottles across the whole shelf against an order of 2,000. The base and the oil are also quote-sized: 360 packs of base against 56 packs of Pure Performance 500 ML listed.
Is it feasible for Diwali? Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November, thirteen days from today. A 2,000-unit order at this size is a quote and a schedule conversation, not an add-to-cart, and the honest thing is to have it now rather than after you have promised a date.
The short answer
Pick the size the shelf has, then compute: 2,000 × 120 ml at the published 25% ratio is 60 kg of oil, 360 packs of base, 200 packs of glass and 16,000 reeds — ₹905,960, or ₹452.98 a gifted unit. The same 2,000 units at 50 ml is ₹496,850, ₹248.43 each.
Decide whether you are matching units or matching litres: 2,000 × 200 ml was 400 litres of blend. Delivering 2,000 units at 120 ml delivers 240 litres. Delivering the full 400 litres needs 3,334 bottles at 120 ml or 8,000 at 50 ml, and the cost goes from ₹905,960 to ₹1,514,675. Those are two completely different orders.
At round quantities, pack rounding disappears: 180,000 ml is exactly 360 packs, 2,000 bottles is exactly 200 packs, and 16,000 reeds is exactly 32 Pack-of-500s. Nothing is wasted — the overhead that punishes a twelve-bottle trial is ₹0 here.
Panel A is why this is a quote: the order bar is drawn to scale against the glass actually on the shelf. Panel B is the decision nobody writes down — whether "2,000 × 200 ml" means two thousand gifts or four hundred litres of product. Choose one in writing before you brief a client, because the two answers differ by roughly ₹600,000 and by 1,334 bottles.
How do I calculate oil and base for 2,000 × 200 ml gifting diffusers?
You recompute at a size the shelf stocks, and you treat the quantity as a quote. There is no 200 ml reed diffuser bottle in the CSI range. The Gold Reed Diffuser Bottle has two variants, both packs of ten: 50 ML at ₹826 and 120 ML at ₹1,062. No 100 ml either. So the calculation runs at 120 ml, where the published 25% ratio gives 90 ml of base plus 30 g of oil a bottle: 2,000 units need 180,000 ml of base — exactly 360 packs of 500 ml, ₹395,640 — and 60,000 g of oil, which is 60 of the largest listed 1 kg packs. Glass is 200 packs of ten at ₹212,400, and reeds at eight apiece are 16,000, exactly 32 Pack-of-500s at ₹128,000. The whole material bill is ₹905,960, or ₹452.98 a gifted unit. Run the same 2,000 at 50 ml — 37.5 ml of base and 12.5 g of oil — and it is ₹496,850, ₹248.43 each. Now the honest constraints. Listed glass stock is 24 packs of the 120 ML and 16 of the 50 ML: 240 and 160 bottles, 400 across the whole shelf. The base line needs 360 packs against 56 of Pure Performance 500 ML listed. And 60 kg of Citrus Lemon exceeds that listing's entire stock of 41.7 kg. 1 kg is the largest listed oil pack and 500 ml the largest base pack, so everything above is a quote on WhatsApp. Diwali 2026 is 8 November, thirteen days away — have the quantity conversation before you commit to a date, not after. 7986 works the same arithmetic at 500 units.
One line: the 200 ml does not exist and the 2,000 is eight times the glass — so the first deliverable is a quote request, not a bill of materials.
The pilot you can actually place today: 24 packs of 120 ML glass (240 bottles) at ₹25,488, 44 packs of base at ₹48,356, 7.2 kg of oil and 1,925 reeds for ₹15,436. That is a 240-unit production run from listed stock, inside the gifting window, while the 2,000 is being quoted.
There is no 200 ml reed bottle — what the plan becomes
A fill volume is not a formulation decision until a vessel exists to hold it.
A 200 ml gifting diffuser is a reasonable product and a common brief. It is also, on this shelf, a size with no variant behind it. That is worth establishing in the first five minutes of a gifting project because everything downstream — liquid, cost per unit, carton size, the number of reeds that look right in the neck — depends on it.

Part-fill the 120 ml instead
Worked out above: base at ₹2.198/ml and Citrus Lemon at ₹2.832/g (its 1 kg rate). 120 ml at 25%: 90 × ₹2.198 = ₹197.82 base, 30 × ₹2.832 = ₹84.96 oil, glass ₹1,062 ÷ 10 = ₹106.20, eight reeds at ₹8.00 = ₹64.00, total ₹452.98. 50 ml at 25%: 37.5 × ₹2.198 = ₹82.43, 12.5 × ₹2.832 = ₹35.40, glass ₹82.60, six reeds ₹48.00, total ₹248.43. The 100 ml part-fill of a 120 ml bottle: 75 × ₹2.198 = ₹164.85, 25 × ₹2.832 = ₹70.80, glass ₹106.20, six reeds ₹48.00 = ₹389.85 — and a part-fill costs ₹1.542 a millilitre in hardware against ₹1.4183 at a full 120 ml. One useful consequence: part-filling to 100 ml puts the product back inside the published 6–8 reed band, which a full 120 ml bottle sits outside. No density is published for any base or oil, so millilitres and grams are priced in their own units and never converted.
The bottle page contradicts itself on size — name it, do not resolve it
The listing's body copy reads "Size: 50 and 100ml" while its two actual variants are 50 ML and 120 ML. On a 2,000-unit gifting order that discrepancy is worth a direct question rather than an assumption, because a client-facing spec sheet with the wrong fill volume on it is an expensive correction. Confirm the fill before anything is printed. The same page publishes no neck diameter, so how many reeds physically fit is your own measurement, not a specification.
2,000 units or 400 litres? Two different orders
Here is the question that a 200 ml brief hides, and the one that decides your budget. 2,000 × 200 ml is 400 litres of finished blend. If you move to 120 ml and still make 2,000 units, you deliver 240 litres — the gift count is intact and the product is 40% smaller. If instead you hold the litres, you are making 3,334 bottles, which is a different order with a different carton count, a different client conversation and a very different price.

Worked out above: at the published 25% ratio a 200 ml fill is 150 ml base + 50 g oil, a 120 ml fill is 90 ml + 30 g and a 50 ml fill is 37.5 ml + 12.5 g. Base packs are base millilitres ÷ 500, rounded up: 300,000 ÷ 500 = 600; 180,000 ÷ 500 = 360; 75,000 ÷ 500 = 150; 300,060 ÷ 500 = 601; 300,000 ÷ 500 = 600. Oil is in whole 1 kg packs at Citrus Lemon's ₹2,832. Glass is bottles ÷ 10 packs at ₹1,062 (120 ML) or ₹826 (50 ML). Reeds are eight a bottle at 120 ml and six at 50 ml, at the flat ₹8.00 rate from the Pack of 50 upwards — except 26,672, which routes as 53 Pack-of-500s plus 100 + 50 + 25 for ₹213,436 against ₹216,000 for 54 Pack-of-500s, a ₹2,564 saving from routing the remainder. 400,000 ÷ 120 = 3,333.33, so 3,334 bottles; 400,000 ÷ 50 = 8,000.
Two things fall out of this. Matching the gift count is between ₹609,000 and ₹1.49 million cheaper than matching the litres, and for a corporate gift the count is almost always what the client actually bought. Second, the 50 ml column is the one most gifting programmes should at least price: ₹248.43 a unit against ₹452.98 is a 1.82× difference, and a 50 ml diffuser in good glass with six reeds is a perfectly respectable gift. The trade is real and it belongs in front of the client, not hidden in a spreadsheet.
The glass ceiling: 400 bottles on the whole shelf
Every large reed diffuser order in this range runs into the same wall, and it is not the liquid. The oil comes in 1 kg packs and the base in 500 ml packs, and you can buy a lot of both. The glass is a single listing with two variants and a finite number of packs sitting on it today.

The mistake: treating a stock number as a pack-size limit. These are two different things and confusing them wastes a quote. The pack sizes are what the listing sells — 50 ML and 120 ML, ten to a pack — and those are fixed. The 240 and 160 bottles are what happens to be on the shelf this week, and that is a position, not a ceiling. So "we need 2,000 bottles" is not a request the range cannot serve; it is a request the website cannot serve today. Send the quantity, the size and the date on WhatsApp and get a real answer instead of inferring one from an inventory count. And do not plan around a lead time, a dispatch window or a minimum that you read somewhere — none of those is published for this listing, and this page is not the place to invent them.
One useful fallback while the big number is being quoted: 240 units is a complete production run. It is 12.0% of the order, it uses listed stock only, and it lets you finish samples, photography, cartoning and client approval in parallel with the quantity conversation. On a thirteen-day runway to 8 November that parallel work is worth more than a bigger purchase order.
Resolving every line into whole packs
Four material lines, each bought in whole packs, each routed to the cheapest combination for the exact quantity. At 2,000 units the arithmetic is unusually tidy, and that tidiness is itself worth knowing about.
1
Fix the fill and the load in writing before you divide anything120 ml at the published 25% ratio: 90 ml of base, 30 g of oil. Write it on the spec sheet with the ratio named, because every number below is that line multiplied by 2,000 and a later change of mind re-prices the whole order. The base pages publish "Blend with 10-30% fragrance oil", a 25–30% working ratio and a 24–48 hour rest before bottling — stay inside that window and build the rest into the production schedule.
2
Base: 180,000 ml, which is exactly 360 packs2,000 × 90 ml = 180,000 ml, and 500 ml is the largest listed base pack, so 360 packs at ₹1,099 = ₹395,640 with nothing left over. Check the variant, not the product: Depth is the only base listing deep enough to look at a number like that (982 packs), while Pure Performance lists 56 × 500 ML, Softness 98, Lift 66 and Longevity 40. For a fresh gifting scent, note that Depth's page lists fresh citrus and aquatics under Avoid — so base choice and base depth may pull in opposite directions here, which is a question for the quote.
3
Oil: 60 kg, and check the whole ladder's stock before you pick the oil2,000 × 30 g = 60,000 g. 1 kg is the largest listed oil pack, so that is 60 packs — ₹169,920 on Citrus Lemon at ₹2,832. But Citrus Lemon's entire listed stock across all five rungs is 41.7 kg, so 60 kg is not there. Woody Oud lists 159.7 kg and would cost ₹271,872 for the same 60 kg. Either way the oil line is a quote, and the choice between them is a ₹101,952 decision you should make deliberately.
4
Glass: 200 packs, and this is the line that goes to WhatsApp first2,000 ÷ 10 = 200 packs of the 120 ML at ₹1,062 = ₹212,400, against 24 packs listed. Ask about this before anything else in the order, because it has the longest fuse and no substitute inside the range. There is no second reed bottle listing to fall back on, and a different vessel is a full product qualification rather than a swap — new neck, new reed count, new photography, new carton.
5
Reeds: 16,000, which is exactly 32 Pack-of-500sAt eight reeds a bottle, 2,000 × 8 = 16,000, and 32 × ₹4,000 = ₹128,000 at the flat ₹8.00 rate. Nothing to route and nothing wasted. Two warnings worth carrying into the gifting spec. The published count band is 6–8 reeds for a 50–100 ml bottle and does not cover the 120 ml bottle, so eight in a 120 ml neck is your decision. And the pack-coverage bands on those pages are derived from the 6–8 count rather than measured — at eight reeds a Pack of 500 covers 62 bottles, not the 60–80 printed, and at twelve it covers 41.
6
Add the rest and check the per-unit figure against the client price₹395,640 + ₹169,920 + ₹212,400 + ₹128,000 = ₹905,960, which is ₹452.98 a gifted unit in raw materials — before cartons, labels, ribbon, inserts, labour, GST and freight. At 50 ml the same 2,000 units are ₹248.43 each. Put both numbers in front of whoever is setting the gift budget, because the size decision is theirs and the ₹204.56-a-unit difference is the clearest thing you can show them.

Worked out above: Citrus Lemon's full listed stock is 90 × 15 g + 95 × 50 g + 91 × 100 g + 47 × 500 g + 3 × 1 kg = 1,350 + 4,750 + 9,100 + 23,500 + 3,000 = 41,700 g, so 41.7 ÷ 60 = 69.5% of the line. Buying 25 kg of it — the 50 ml version of this order — would route as 3 × 1 kg plus 44 × 500 g = ₹8,496 + ₹62,480 = ₹70,976, which is ₹176 above the flat ₹70,800 because only three kilo packs are listed; a 0.25% penalty for routing round a thin top rung. Woody Oud's listed stock is 60 × 15 g + 76 × 50 g + 70 × 100 g + 98 × 500 g + 99 × 1 kg = 159,700 g. The oil choice is ₹271,872 − ₹169,920 = ₹101,952, or ₹50.98 a gifted unit. At these quantities every line divides exactly into whole packs, so pack-rounding overhead is ₹0 — against 17.01% on a twelve-placement trial. Round numbers are the one thing scale gives you for free.
The gifted unit, costed at both listed sizes
The pick cards below are the four lines at live prices. Read them against the per-unit figures, because on a gifting order the material cost per gift is the number that gets negotiated and the only one the client will remember.
1
The binding line · two variants, neither is 200 ml
Gold Reed Diffuser Bottle Pack of 10 (50 ML and 120 ML)
The only reed diffuser bottle listing in the range, and the line that decides whether a 2,000-unit gifting order is a cart or a quote. Two variants, both packs of ten: 50 ML at ₹826 (₹82.60 a bottle) and 120 ML at ₹1,062 (₹106.20). There is no 100 ml and no 200 ml variant, and the page's body copy saying "Size: 50 and 100ml" disagrees with its own variant list — named here, routed, not resolved. Live stock is 16 and 24 packs: 160 and 240 bottles, 400 across the shelf, so a 2,000-unit order is 8.33× the 120 ml position and 5.00× the whole listing. That is a stock number rather than a pack ceiling. The page publishes no neck diameter, so how many reeds actually fit is your own measurement. snehal Chaudhary, a CSI customer, simply calls it a "Nice product".
The biggest single line on the bill and the one that scales most cleanly, because 180,000 ml is exactly 360 packs with nothing wasted. At ₹1,099 per 500 ml that is ₹2.198 a millilitre and ₹197.82 a 120 ml bottle at the published 25% ratio, and one pack fills 5.56 bottles of 120 ml. This is also the base page that speaks to gifting into a hot Indian summer, in CSI's own words: it "performs well in Indian climates by balancing scent throw with longevity" and notes that "heat and humidity create specific challenges". Those are qualitative statements — no rate, no multiplier, no temperature appears anywhere on the page. Two things to know before you order at this size. Live stock is 56 packs of the 500 ML against 360 needed, so this line is quoted, not carted. And the page contradicts itself on load: dose cards mark 20% as "Recommended" while the details table says 70–75% base with 25–30% oil. Named, not resolved.
The cheapest gram in the range · and a thin top rung
Citrus Lemon Fragrance Oil | Candle Fragrances
A bright summer-appropriate note and the cheapest fragrance gram on this shelf, which matters enormously at 60 kg. Its ladder is one of only a handful that keeps falling at every rung — ₹5.428, ₹3.40, ₹3.00, ₹2.84, ₹2.832 a gram — so the kilo genuinely is the best rate and saves ₹8 against two 500 g packs. At ₹2.832 a gram a 120 ml bottle carries ₹84.96 of oil, which is only 18.8% of the gifted unit. The catch is depth: the 1 kg variant is down to 3 packs and the whole ladder adds up to 41.7 kg, so the 60 kg version of this order is not there and even the 25 kg version routes awkwardly — 3 × 1 kg plus 44 × 500 g for ₹70,976, which is ₹176 over the flat rate. If you need the depth more than the price, Woody Oud lists 159.7 kg at ₹4.5312 a gram.

16,000 reeds · exactly 32 packs, nothing wasted
Fiber Diffuser Reeds (Black) Premium Quality Engineered for fragrance
Fibre is the only reed type in the range, in black and white, and at this quantity the arithmetic is as clean as it gets: 16,000 reeds is exactly 32 Pack-of-500s at ₹4,000 — ₹128,000, ₹8.00 a reed flat. Stock is 100 packs of the 500, which is 50,000 reeds, so this is the one material line on the whole order that today's shelf covers outright. White is the same product in a different colour at ₹9.00 a reed from the Pack of 50 up, so a white-reed gifting spec adds ₹16.00 a bottle at eight reeds and ₹32,000 across 2,000 units. The pages publish a useful amount — 20.3 cm length, "uniform pore structure — no swelling, no clogging, no splitting", "does not swell in heat or humidity", count bands of 4–5 / 6–8 / 10+, "flip every 3-5 days" and "1-2 hours initial absorption" — and one thing they do not: no diameter, despite the phrase "consistent diameter" appearing on the page.
Compute the order at a size that exists. A fill volume with no vessel behind it is a promise, not a plan.
Everything a 2,000-unit gifting order needs to be right about — cost per gift, carton dimensions, reed count, client spec sheet, delivery date — descends from the bottle. So the bottle is the first question and the quantity is the second, and both are answered in a conversation rather than a cart when the numbers are this far past the shelf. The arithmetic here is the easy part; it is the two constraints at the top of the page that decide whether the order happens.
What is a cart order and what is a quote
Four lines, four different answers. Sorting them this way before you write to anybody turns a vague "can you do 2,000?" into a specific question that gets a specific reply.

Worked out above: the 240-unit pilot is 24 packs of 120 ML glass (₹25,488), 240 × 90 ml = 21,600 ml of base = 44 packs (₹48,356, with 400 ml spare), 240 × 30 g = 7,200 g of oil, and 240 × 8 = 1,920 reeds, cheapest as 3 × Pack of 500 + 4 × Pack of 100 + 1 × Pack of 25 = ₹15,436 for 1,925 reeds — against ₹15,600 if the remainder is a Pack of 50 and ₹16,000 for a clean 2,000 reeds, so routing the last twenty saves ₹564. Oil at Citrus Lemon's 7.2 kg routes as 3 × 1 kg + 8 × 500 g + 2 × 100 g = ₹8,496 + ₹11,360 + ₹600 = ₹20,456 for 7.2 kg. Pilot material total ₹109,736, or ₹457.23 a unit — ₹4.25 above the ₹452.98 at full scale, which is pack rounding on a smaller order.
Two thousand gifts is not a bigger version of two hundred. It is a different conversation, and the bottle has it first.

Send four things and the reply is useful: the fill size you have settled on, the unit count, the named oil and base, and the date the cartons have to leave. Diwali 2026 is 8 November. Anything beyond the listed 1 kg oil pack and 500 ml base pack is quoted, and the glass position changes week to week.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished diffusers. The first two sentences of this page tell a buyer with a 2,000-unit order that the size they planned does not exist and the quantity is eight times what is on the shelf. We would sell more by quietly letting the spreadsheet run on a 200 ml figure. A gifting order that arrives short in the first week of November is worse for everybody than a quote conversation in the last week of October.
Every price, pack size and per-variant stock figure here was read live from candlemakingsuppliesindia.store in October 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Stated specifications are quoted only where a page publishes them: the bases' 10-30% blend range, 25–30% working ratio and 24–48 hour rest; Pure Performance's "performs well in Indian climates by balancing scent throw with longevity" and "heat and humidity create specific challenges"; the fibre reeds' 20.3 cm length, 4–5 / 6–8 / 10+ count bands, "flip every 3-5 days", "1-2 hours initial absorption" and "does not swell in heat or humidity". The published reed count band is stated for a 50–100 ml bottle and does not cover the 120 ml bottle the range sells. Not published anywhere and not stated, estimated or implied here: any temperature, evaporation rate, shelf life, density, reed diameter, bottle neck diameter, lead time, dispatch window, courier, credit term or minimum order quantity for any product on this page. Blend ranges are formulation ranges, not safety limits, and nothing here is certified or approved by IFRA on CSI's behalf.

Frequently asked questions
Does CSI sell 200 ml reed diffuser bottles?
No. The reed diffuser bottle listing has exactly two variants, both packs of ten: 50 ML at ₹826 and 120 ML at ₹1,062. There is no 100 ml and no 200 ml. The page's own body copy reads "Size: 50 and 100ml", which disagrees with its variant list — we name that and route it rather than resolve it.
So a 200 ml specification has to be recomputed at 120 ml or 50 ml, or the vessel has to come from somewhere else — in which case it is a full product qualification, not a swap: new neck, your own reed-count decision because no neck diameter is published, new photography and new cartons. Ask before you print a spec sheet.
How much base and fragrance oil do 2,000 reed diffusers need?
At 120 ml and the published 25% ratio — 90 ml of base plus 30 g of oil a bottle — 2,000 units need 180,000 ml of base (exactly 360 packs of 500 ml, ₹395,640) and 60,000 g of oil (60 of the largest listed 1 kg packs). Add 2,000 bottles as 200 packs of ten (₹212,400) and 16,000 reeds as 32 Pack-of-500s (₹128,000).
At 50 ml — 37.5 ml plus 12.5 g — the same unit count needs 75,000 ml of base (150 packs, ₹164,850) and 25,000 g of oil, with six reeds a bottle instead of eight. Totals: ₹905,960 at 120 ml and ₹496,850 at 50 ml, which is ₹452.98 against ₹248.43 a gifted unit in raw materials.
Can CSI supply 2,000 reed diffuser bottles?
Not from the stock currently listed, which is 24 packs of the 120 ML and 16 of the 50 ML — 240 and 160 bottles, 400 across the whole listing. A 2,000-unit order is 8.33× the 120 ml position and 5.00× the shelf.
That is a stock position, not a pack-size limit, and the two are easy to confuse. The packs themselves are fixed at ten; the number of packs available is not. So send the size, the count and the date on WhatsApp and get a real answer. In the meantime, 240 units is a complete production run from listed stock — 12.0% of the order — and running it in parallel gets samples, photography, cartoning and client approval finished while the quantity is being priced.
Which fragrance oil can actually supply 60 kg?
Check the whole ladder, not the top rung. Citrus Lemon is the cheapest gram at ₹2.832 and its ladder falls at every rung, but its 1 kg variant is down to 3 packs and all five rungs together add up to 41.7 kg — 69.5% of what 2,000 × 120 ml needs. Woody Oud lists 159.7 kg at ₹4.5312 a gram, flat from 100 g up, and would cover it comfortably at ₹271,872 for 60 kg.
That is a ₹101,952 decision, ₹50.98 a gifted unit, and it should be made on purpose rather than by whichever oil the sample box happened to contain. One routing note: buying 25 kg of Citrus Lemon today would cost ₹70,976 as 3 × 1 kg plus 44 × 500 g, which is ₹176 above its flat kilo rate — a 0.25% penalty for routing around a thin top rung.
Should a gifting diffuser be 120 ml or 50 ml?
Price both and let whoever owns the gift budget decide, because the gap is large and visible. ₹452.98 against ₹248.43 a unit in raw materials — a 1.82× difference, ₹204.56 a gift, ₹409,110 across 2,000. A 50 ml diffuser in the same gold glass with six reeds is a perfectly respectable corporate gift, and six reeds in a 50 ml bottle sits inside the published 6–8 band, which eight reeds in a 120 ml bottle does not.
One arithmetic warning if you go small: hardware per millilitre rises when you downsize. Glass plus reeds is ₹2.612 a millilitre at 50 ml with six reeds against ₹1.4183 at a full 120 ml — a 1.84× penalty. At 50 ml the glass (₹82.60) actually costs more than the base inside it (37.5 ml = ₹82.43), which inverts the usual intuition that glass is the cheap part.
How many reeds should a 2,000-unit gifting order use?
It is your decision, and the published guidance does not reach the size you are using. The fibre reed pages state count bands of 4–5, 6–8 and 10+ — but for a 50–100 ml bottle, so eight reeds in a 120 ml neck is outside the stated band and no neck diameter is published to check against.
Commercially the number matters: at ₹8.00 a reed, 2,000 units at eight reeds is ₹128,000 and at twelve reeds ₹192,000 — a ₹64,000 swing. White reeds at ₹9.00 add ₹16.00 a bottle, ₹32,000 across the order. And be careful with the pack-coverage bands printed on those pages: they are derived from the 6–8 count rather than measured, so at eight reeds a Pack of 500 covers 62 bottles rather than the 60–80 stated, and at twelve it covers 41 — roughly a third short.

Figures verified October 2026: Live per-variant prices and stock from candlemakingsuppliesindia.store. Gold Reed Diffuser Bottle 50 ML Pack of 10 ₹826 (16 packs) and 120 ML Pack of 10 ₹1,062 (24 packs) — two variants only, no 100 ml and no 200 ml. Pure Performance 100 g ₹325 (63) and 500 ML ₹1,099 (56) = ₹2.198/ml; Depth ₹1,099 (982); Lift ₹1,099 (66); Softness ₹1,099 (98); Longevity ₹1,296 (40). Citrus Lemon ₹81.42 / ₹170 / ₹300 / ₹1,420 / ₹2,832 (90 / 95 / 91 / 47 / 3) = 41,700 g listed. Woody Oud ₹93.22 / ₹271.40 / ₹453.12 / ₹2,265.60 / ₹4,531.20 (60 / 76 / 70 / 98 / 99) = 159,700 g listed. Black fibre reeds ₹236 / ₹400 / ₹800 / ₹4,000 (73 / 93 / 95 / 100); white ₹265 / ₹450 / ₹900 / ₹4,500. Per-unit arithmetic uses the published 25% ratio: 120 ml = 90 ml base + 30 g oil; 50 ml = 37.5 ml + 12.5 g; 200 ml would be 150 ml + 50 g. Base ₹2.198/ml, Citrus Lemon ₹2.832/g, glass ₹106.20 or ₹82.60, black reeds ₹8.00. 2,000 × 120 ml = ₹395,640 + ₹169,920 + ₹212,400 + ₹128,000 = ₹905,960 = ₹452.98 each; 2,000 × 50 ml = ₹164,850 + ₹70,800 + ₹165,200 + ₹96,000 = ₹496,850 = ₹248.43 each.
