Buyer question · One supplier for everything
Buying everything from one supplier saves orders, shipments and invoices. It also puts your whole production on one catalogue's gaps. So before you consolidate, check the supplier the way you would check a new wax — and since you are reading this on our site, we have run every check on ourselves first.
₹8,780.54
one CSI order covering every category — oils, two waxes, two wick types, jars, dye, mould, sealer and tools — for 20 jar candles and 4 pillars · CSI pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What should I check before buying all my candle supplies from one supplier? Eight things: coverage of every category you need, stock depth, stated specs (load ceilings, fill weights), price structure, paperwork (GST, MSDS, IFRA), reorder consistency, communication, and what they don't sell. See the checks.

Can CSI supply everything? Most of it: oils, 14 wax products, wicks, jars, dyes, moulds and tools. Not listed: tealight cups, tealight wicks and three-wick jars. Out of stock on the pull date: green and yellow liquid dye, green dye chips, stearic acid, Soy Wax 464 Pellets and four moulds. See the audit.

Is buying everything together cheaper? Not by a published discount. Per-gram price breaks on oils are rare, and most waxes are flat per kilo. Volume pricing beyond the listed packs is quoted on WhatsApp; no discount figure is published.

What does an every-category order cost? ₹8,780.54 for 20 jar candles and 4 pillars, including one-off tools and a mould. See the basket.
The short answer
The checks: Coverage · stock depth · stated specs · price structure · paperwork · reorder consistency · communication · gaps. Run all eight before you consolidate.
CSI's gaps: Not listed: tealight cups, tealight wicks, three-wick jars. Out of stock on the pull date: green/yellow liquid dye, green chips, stearic acid, Soy Wax 464 Pellets, four moulds, several oil sizes.
Specs published: Fragrance ceilings only for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (13%) and CSI 464 (10%). Fill weights, cavity weights, wick sizing and dye doses are not published — weigh, test, or ask.
CSI's catalogue, category by category — checked on 24–25 September 2026 Our own audit, not a score. Every gap below is named in the table on this page. OilsContainer waxPillar waxWicksJarsTealight cups3-wick jarsDyesMouldsDocs Listed, in stock, with stated specs Listed, with named gaps (OOS items or unpublished specs) Not listed — ask on WhatsApp or source elsewhere "Specs" = fragrance ceilings, fill weights, wick sizing, dye doses · only two wax ceilings are published
Our own reading of our catalogue on the pull date. Solid means listed, in stock and with the key spec stated. Half-filled means listed, but with named gaps — an out-of-stock colour or mould, or a spec such as a fill weight or wick size that we do not publish. Dashed means not listed at all. Oils and container wax are solid because stock is broad and ceilings are published for the two main soy waxes; paperwork is solid because GST, MSDS and IFRA are available on request.
Straight answer
I want one supplier for wax, fragrance oils, wicks, jars, dyes and moulds. What should I check before buying all my candle raw materials from them?
Check eight things: coverage (does every item on your bill of materials exist?), stock depth (is it in stock in the sizes you need, and what is out?), stated specs (fragrance ceilings, fill weights, wick sizing), price structure (where the real price breaks are), paperwork (GST invoice, MSDS, IFRA), reorder consistency, communication, and what they don't sell. Here is CSI checked honestly. We list 93 oils (86 with stock), 14 wax products, several wick types, jars and containers, dyes, mica and over twenty moulds, and provide GST invoices and MSDS/IFRA on request. We do not list tealight cups, tealight wicks or three-wick jars. On the pull date green and yellow liquid dyes, green dye chips, stearic acid, Soy Wax 464 Pellets and four moulds were out of stock. We publish fragrance ceilings for only two waxes, and no fill weights, wick sizes or dye doses. And buying everything together does not unlock a published discount — volume pricing is quoted on WhatsApp. If your bill of materials sits inside those limits, one supplier works; a full every-category order for 20 jars and 4 pillars is ₹8,780.54.
One line: check coverage, stock, specs, price, paperwork, reorders, contact and gaps — we ran all eight on ourselves, gaps included.
Send us your whole bill of materials before you order. We will tell you, item by item, what we list, what is in stock today, what is out, and what we do not sell — including the gaps named on this page. Bulk quotes, GST invoicing and MSDS/IFRA documents on the same thread.

The eight checks

Consolidating suppliers is a production decision, not a shopping one. Check the supplier like you would check a wax.
1
Coverage — write your bill of materials firstList every item per product: wax, oil, wick, container, dye, mould, sealer, tools. Then tick each against the catalogue. The items you cannot tick are your first answer.
2
Stock depth — not just "listed"A listed product can be out of stock, or in stock only in a size you don't use. Check the exact size you need. On CSI, for example, the Chocolate Fudge 100 g and the Vetiver 1 kg were out of stock while other sizes were available.
3
Stated specs — what the supplier will put in writingFragrance-load ceilings for each wax, fill weights for jars and containers, cavity weights for moulds, wick sizing, dye doses. Where a spec is not published, you will have to weigh or test — budget for that.
4
Price structure — where the breaks really areConvert every price to per gram or per kilo. Look for real breaks, and do not assume that bigger packs or bundled orders are cheaper. See the price section below for CSI's actual pattern.
5
Paperwork — ask before, not afterGST invoice, MSDS and IFRA documentation. Retail and corporate buyers increasingly ask for them. Confirm they are available for every oil you use, and how you receive them.
6
Reorder consistencyCan you reorder the same product under the same name and handle next quarter? For oils especially, a scent your customers love has to be reorderable. Ask how restocks are communicated.
7
CommunicationWho answers, on what channel, and how fast? CSI uses WhatsApp (+91 7397976926) for quotes, stock checks and documents.
8
Gaps — and your plan for themNo supplier lists everything. Name every gap, decide whether you can live without it, source it elsewhere, or ask the supplier to source it.

Run the checks in that order. Coverage and stock eliminate suppliers quickly; specs and price decide between the ones left; paperwork and reorder consistency decide whether you can build a business on them. The last check — gaps — is the one most buyers skip, and it is the one that stops a production run.

CSI's catalogue, audited

Here is the audit run on ourselves, category by category, from the live catalogue on 24–25 September 2026. The right-hand column is the one that matters for your decision.

CSI catalogue · pulled 24–25 September 2026 · stock changes daily
What CSI lists, and the gaps
Category What is listed Gaps on the pull date
Fragrance oils 93 products; 86 with a size in stock; 51 with an in-stock 15 g; 73 with an in-stock 1 kg 7 oils with no size in stock (Rajnigandha, Spiced Rum, Mogra, Baccarat Rouge 540 inspired, Regal Royal Oud, Frankincense and Tonka, Acqua Di Gio inspired); several oils missing single sizes

Kits Seven candle-making kits from ₹554.60 to ₹6,741.34 Fragrance contents not published in our data; no fragrance-only sample pack or discovery set
Paperwork GST invoicing; MSDS and IFRA documentation on request Requested on WhatsApp, not downloadable from every product page
Argued against our own interest, plainly. If your products need tealight cups, tealight wicks or three-wick jars, CSI cannot currently be your only supplier for them — we do not list them. Ask us on WhatsApp whether we can supply them for your order; if we cannot, source them elsewhere and buy the rest from us. A single supplier who covers 90% of your list and is honest about the other 10% is more useful than one who claims 100%.

Three of those gaps have practical workarounds inside the catalogue. Yellow colour: the liquid is out of stock, but yellow dye chips (₹250.00) are in stock. Green colour: both green liquid and green chips are out; green mica (10 g ₹57.82) gives a green shimmer, though mica colours differently from a dye. Harder moulded candles without stearic acid: Soy Pillar Wax is listed specifically for pillar and designer candles. I'm Making Decorative Mould Candles — How Much Fragrance Oil Can I Add Without Affecting the Candle Structure? covers testing it.

Watch the single-unit listings
Two items showed only one unit in stock on the pull date: Semi Refined Paraffin Wax 1 kg and the David Candle Mould (and the black dye chips). Treat a one-unit listing as effectively unavailable for production planning, and ask about restock before you build a product around it.

Specs we publish — and don't

A supplier's catalogue is also a list of what they are willing to state. Read the silences.

The most useful specs for a candle maker are the ones that turn into arithmetic: how much oil a wax can hold, how much wax a jar holds, how many grams a mould cavity takes. Here is what our catalogue states and what it doesn't, so you know where you will need your own scale and your own burn tests.

What the CSI data in this series states · pulled 24–25 September 2026
Published specs vs what you must measure
Spec Published? What to do
Fragrance ceiling — Luxury Soy Wax Chunks Yes: up to 13% Stay at or below; 8% is a common working load
Fragrance ceiling — CSI 464 Yes: up to 10% Stay at or below
Fragrance ceiling — coconut soy, pillar, paraffin, beeswax, gel, soy pearl, soy butter No Ask on WhatsApp; test 6–10% only as a labelled range
Jar fill weights (e.g. Mini Glass Jars, melt containers) Mostly no (the Golden Tin states 85 g; the velvet jar 50 g) Weigh a filled jar
Mould cavity weights No Weigh a filled cavity
Wick size for a jar diameter No Burn-test two or three wick types
Dye dose per kg of wax No Follow the dye's product page; test small
Oil throw, flash point, IFRA % per oil Not in this data Test throw yourself; ask for the IFRA certificate and MSDS on WhatsApp

None of those silences is unusual for a raw-materials supplier, but each one costs you a test or a weighing. Build that time into your first order. The oil-side detail — which oils to test and how — is covered in I'm Starting a Soy Candle Business — Which 10 Fragrance Oils Should I Buy First? and I'm Making Coconut Soy Luxury Candles — Which Fragrance Oils Should I Test for Strong Hot Throw?.

Price structure: what one supplier does and doesn't save

Consolidating saves you orders, shipments and invoices. It does not, on CSI's listed prices, unlock a discount by itself. Here is the actual price pattern across categories.

CSI live pricing, pulled 24–25 September 2026
Where the price breaks are — and aren't
Category Pattern Examples
Fragrance oils The reliable step is 15 g → 50 g/100 g (median 23.1% per-gram premium on 15 g). Above 100 g most oils are flat. 52 of 91 oils within ±1% per gram between 100 g and 1 kg; 24 save 5% or more, e.g. Citronella 62.3%, Honeydew Melon 22.0%
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks Flat per kilo ₹599.00 / kg at 1 kg and 5 kg; ₹599.90 / kg at 10 kg
CSI 464 Flat per kilo ₹507.40 / kg at 1, 5 and 10 kg
Natural Soy Pearl Wax 5.6% break at 5 kg ₹450.00 / kg at 1 kg; ₹424.80 / kg at 5, 10 and 50 kg
CSI 468 coconut soy 2% break at 5 kg ₹650.00 / kg at 1 kg; ₹637.00 / kg at 5 and 10 kg
Eco Candle Wicks Flat per wick Thin C1 ₹5.90 each from 10 to 1,000
Cotton Braided Wicks Flat per wick ₹12.00 each at every pack size
Wax melt containers Flat per unit ₹29.50 each at 5, 10, 50 and 100
200 ml Salsa Glass Jar Break at 50 5 for ₹200.60 (₹40.12 each); 50 for ₹1,475.00 (₹29.50 each)

So the case for one supplier is convenience, consistency and one set of paperwork — real benefits, but not a published price benefit. For volumes beyond the listed packs, CSI quotes on WhatsApp; no discount figure is published, so ask rather than assume. Where to Buy Fragrance Oils in Bulk for Festive and Corporate Candle Manufacturing covers bulk sourcing for festive production.

The CSI principle
Consolidate for reliability. Negotiate for price.
One supplier makes ordering simpler and your products more consistent. Whether it also makes them cheaper depends on a quote, not on the act of consolidating. Ask for the quote with your full list in hand.

One order, every category

Here is what a single CSI order looks like when it touches every category: 20 jar candles (200 g at 8%) in four scents, plus 4 pillars (illustrative 250 g at 7%) in the same scents. Each 100 g bottle covers five jars (80 g) and one pillar (17.5 g), 97.5 g, with 2.5 g spare — tight, so weigh carefully.

The basket's one-off items — mould, sealer, centering device, scale and thermometer — come to ₹2,240.82. Your second order drops to the consumables. Labour, labels, packaging, freight and GST are extra. Plan 3–5% extra wax for pour loss and test burns as a working assumption; the 4 kg of Chunks already leaves 320 g over.

The common mistake: consolidating before checking the one item you cannot substitute. A maker moves everything to one supplier, then finds the jar that defines their brand is out of stock for a month. Before you switch, identify your one or two irreplaceable items — often a specific jar or a hero scent — and confirm stock and restock policy for those first.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. This page asks what to check before giving one supplier your whole order — and then checks us, listing every gap we found: no tealight cups, tealight wicks or three-wick jars, and the out-of-stock dyes, moulds, waxes and oil sizes on the pull date.

Oil and wax prices come from live CSI listings pulled on 24 September 2026; dye, mould, container and wick prices from the 24–25 September 2026 pull; White Matte Glass Jar, Wick Centering Device, scale and thermometer prices are Blog 760's figures verified on 10 September 2026. Stock status changes daily; the product pages are authoritative.

The eight checks are general purchasing practice. The basket's 200 g jar, 250 g pillar and loads are working assumptions. Only Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (up to 13%) and CSI 464 (up to 10%) have published fragrance ceilings in this series. Frequently asked questions

What should I look for in a candle supplies supplier?
Coverage of your full bill of materials, stock in the sizes you use, stated specs (fragrance ceilings, fill weights), a clear price structure, GST/MSDS/IFRA paperwork, reorder consistency, responsive contact, and honesty about what they don't sell.
Can I buy all candle making supplies from one place in India?
Most of them. CSI lists oils, 14 wax products, wicks, jars, dyes, moulds and tools. It does not list tealight cups, tealight wicks or three-wick jars, and some dyes and moulds were out of stock on the pull date. Send your list on WhatsApp for an item-by-item check.
Is it cheaper to buy candle supplies in bulk from one supplier?
Not automatically. On CSI's listed prices most oils and waxes are flat per gram or per kilo above the smallest packs, and consolidating does not unlock a published discount. Volume pricing beyond the listed packs is quoted on WhatsApp.
Does CSI provide MSDS and IFRA certificates?
MSDS and IFRA documentation are available on request, along with GST invoicing. Ask on WhatsApp for the documents for the specific oils you use.
Does CSI sell tealight cups and three-wick jars?
No tealight cups, tealight wicks or three-wick jars were listed on the pull date. Ask on WhatsApp whether they can be supplied for your order; otherwise source them separately.
What candle supplies are out of stock at CSI?
On 24–25 September 2026: green and yellow liquid dyes, green dye chips, stearic acid, Soy Wax 464 Pellets, the twisted pillar, maple leaf, mini pumpkin and succulent moulds, the ribbed 5 × 7 cm mould, and seven oils with no size in stock. Stock changes — check the product page or ask.
