Commercial Fragrance · Bulk Sourcing
Festive and corporate orders are unforgiving: fixed dates, fixed counts and clients who want paperwork. The supplier you choose has to be transparent on price, honest about stock and able to produce documents. This page gives you a checklist for any supplier, answers it for CSI line by line, and prices a season's basket from one order.
11
checks to run on any bulk fragrance supplier before a festive or corporate season · 7 are published by CSI or on request · 4 you must ask about
Quick answers — read this first
Where can I buy fragrance oils in bulk in India? From suppliers who publish prices per size and can quote beyond them. CSI lists 93 oils, 86 with stock on 24 September 2026 and 73 in stock at 1 kg, with wax, containers and wicks on the same store. Volume beyond the listed packs is quoted on WhatsApp.

What should I check before choosing a bulk fragrance supplier? Listed prices per size, stock per size, minimum order, GST invoice, MSDS and IFRA documentation, bulk quote route, wax fragrance ceilings, stock quantities and restock dates, courier times, throw data and samples. See the checklist.

Does CSI publish everything a bulk buyer needs? No, and we say so. Prices, stock status per size and two wax ceilings are published; MSDS, IFRA and bulk quotes are on request; stock quantities, restock dates, courier times and throw measurements are not published — ask.

Is one supplier for everything a good idea? It simplifies ordering, invoicing and documents. It also concentrates risk. Keep one tested alternative oil per scent and confirm stock before each big order. See one supplier or two.
The short answer
Published: Price and stock status for every size · no minimum beyond the smallest listed size · GST invoicing · wax ceilings for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (13%) and CSI 464 (10%).
On request: MSDS and IFRA documentation for each oil · bulk quotes beyond the listed packs on WhatsApp +91 7397976926.
Not published: Stock quantities, restock dates, courier times, throw measurements, discount percentages. There is no fragrance sample pack; testers are the 15 g size on 51 oils.
Shop: Fragrance Oils · Candle Wax · Containers · Wicks · bulk on WhatsApp.
What CSI publishes, what it provides on request, and what you must ask — a bulk-buyer's scorecard Listed price per size Stock shown per size No minimum beyond smallest size GST invoice MSDS · IFRA documentation Bulk quote beyond listed packs Wax fragrance ceilings (2 waxes) Stock quantities · restock dates Courier times Throw measurements Sample pack / discovery set Published On request Not published — ask "Not published" means not stated in CSI's listed data — ask on WhatsApp; never assume a figure.
Eleven checks a bulk buyer should run, placed by how CSI answers them. Dark: stated on the store. Grey: provided on request. Open: not in our published data, so ask on WhatsApp and get the answer in writing before you rely on it. Run the same scorecard on any supplier you compare.
Straight answer
Where should I buy fragrance oils in bulk for festive and corporate candle manufacturing?
Buy from a supplier you have checked on eleven points, not just on price. For festive and corporate work, the ones that matter most are: prices listed per size so you can build a baseline; stock shown per size; a bulk quote route beyond the listed packs; a GST invoice; and MSDS and IFRA documentation for every oil. CSI publishes the first three for 93 oils — 73 in stock at 1 kg on the 24 September 2026 pull — alongside wax, jars, tins and wicks, and provides MSDS and IFRA documents and bulk quotes on WhatsApp. Be equally clear about the gaps: CSI does not publish stock quantities, restock dates, courier times, discount percentages or throw measurements, and does not sell a fragrance sample pack. For a festive or corporate deadline those gaps are exactly what you must ask about, in writing, before you promise a client a date. A season basket for 490 pieces across three formats and three oils prices at ₹83,641.40 from the listed catalogue. The wholesale guide shows how to judge a quote against it.
One line: check prices, stock, documents and the quote route; then ask, in writing, about everything the supplier does not publish.
The bulk container waxes are where a festive season's weight sits. Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is ₹5,074.00 for 10 kg (₹507.40/kg, rated up to 10%); Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are ₹2,995.00 for 5 kg (₹599.00/kg, rated up to 13%). Both are listed at every size with stock shown.

The eleven-point supplier checklist

A festive season is too short to discover what your supplier does not do.

Festive and corporate manufacturing differ from everyday candle making in three ways: the dates are fixed, the volumes are larger than usual, and the client often wants documents. A supplier that is fine for a monthly 100 g order may not be fine for 7 kg of one oil three weeks before Diwali. The checklist below is the one we would use to choose a supplier. The third column says how CSI answers each line — including the lines where the honest answer is "not published, ask us".

Run this on any supplier · CSI answers from the 24–25 September 2026 catalogue pull
Bulk fragrance supplier checklist — and how CSI answers
# Check Why it matters for festive / corporate CSI
1 Price listed for every size You need a baseline to cost orders and judge quotes Published: 15 g to 1 kg per oil
2 Stock status per size An out-of-stock size is not a price Published per size; Mogra and Rajnigandha out of stock in every size on 24 Sep
3 Minimum order Testing needs small sizes; production needs large No minimum beyond the smallest listed size (15 g for 51 oils)
4 Per-gram price breaks Tells you whether the kilo actually saves money Visible from listed prices: 52 of 91 oils within ±1% at 1 kg vs 100 g; 24 save 5%+
5 GST invoice Corporate clients and your own accounts need it Yes
6 MSDS and IFRA documentation Procurement teams ask; you need it for your own paperwork On request — ask when you order
7 Bulk quote route Volume beyond the listed packs WhatsApp +91 7397976926; no discount figure published
8 Wax fragrance ceilings Sets your maximum load Chunks up to 13%, CSI 464 up to 10% (wax makers' stated maximums); others: ask
9 Stock quantities and restock dates Can they supply 7 kg of one oil before your pour window? Not published — confirm on WhatsApp before each big order
10 Courier times Decides your order date Not published — ask for current dispatch timing to your pin code
11 Throw data and samples Helps choose oils No throw measurements published; no sample pack — test with 15 g sizes

Lines 1 to 8 are what a bulk buyer can see or request from CSI today. Lines 9 to 11 are gaps in what we publish, and they are the ones most likely to hurt a festive order, so the next section is about closing them. Whatever supplier you use, a checklist like this is worth running before the season rather than during it; what to check before buying all your raw materials from one supplier extends it to wicks, dyes and moulds.

Keep the answers in one message thread
Ask your stock, dispatch and document questions on WhatsApp in one thread per order, and keep it. When a corporate client asks "when will it arrive" or "can we see the safety sheet", you want the supplier's written answer to hand, not a memory of a phone call.

What we do not publish, and what to do about it

Stock quantities and restock dates. The store shows whether a size is in stock, not how many units. For a festive or corporate order that needs several kilos of one oil, message CSI with the oil and grams and ask for confirmation before your client signs. If an oil is out of stock, we do not publish when it will return, so choose an in-stock alternative rather than waiting. Mogra and Rajnigandha, for example, are out of stock in every size on the 24 September pull; Jasmine, Raat Ki Rani and Gardenia are in stock.

Courier times. We do not publish delivery times. Ask for current dispatch timing to your pin code when you order, and build slack into your schedule. The Diwali back-schedule leaves gaps around both oil orders for exactly this reason, and labels every duration as a working assumption.

Throw measurements and samples. We have not published hot-throw or cold-throw measurements for any oil, and CSI does not sell a fragrance sample pack, discovery set or trial kit. The practical route is to buy the 15 g size — 51 oils offer one, from ₹68.44 — and test in your own wax and container. The gifting hub and the 500-piece split guide include test protocols and scoring sheets.

Assuming stock because the page said "in stock". A maker sees an oil marked in stock, quotes a client 800 pieces in it, and orders a week later. "In stock" said nothing about quantity, and by then the size is short. For any order above a few kilos, the product page is where you start, and WhatsApp confirmation is where you finish.

One supplier or two

One supplier means one order, one invoice and one set of documents. It also means one point of failure.

For festive and corporate work, buying oil, wax, containers and wicks from one supplier saves real time: one cart, one GST invoice, one delivery to receive, one thread for MSDS and IFRA. CSI's catalogue covers the whole candle for the formats in this cluster — 85 g tins, 50 g velvet hearts, 200 ml Salsa jars, votives and White Matte jars, three soy container waxes and Eco and cotton wicks. Tealight cups and three-wick jars are not listed, so if your range needs them you will need another source or should ask whether CSI can supply.

The risk is concentration: if one oil or one container is short in October, the whole order waits. The fix is not a second supplier for everything; it is a tested alternative for each critical line. For every scent in your festive range, test a second oil from the same family in advance, so that if the first cannot be confirmed at volume, you switch without a new sample round. Do the same for your main container: if the velvet heart were short, would the tin do? Decide in September, not in the pour window.

Planning aid · pair each critical line with a tested fallback · all items in stock on the 24–25 September 2026 pull
Critical lines and their fallbacks
Critical line Primary Tested fallback Why
White floral scent Jasmine Raat Ki Rani Mogra and Rajnigandha are out of stock
Wood scent Woody Oud Sandalwood Similar role, both flat-priced
Floral value scent British Rose Gardenia Different family, similar tier
Container wax CSI 464 Luxury Soy Wax Chunks Both container soy; check load ceilings
Small gift container Velvet heart (Red) 85 g tin White heart is out of stock
Lidded corporate jar Salsa 200 ml Yankee Glass Jar 130 ml Both lidded; fills differ — weigh
Argued against our own interest, plainly. It would suit us if you put everything on one CSI order and never tested an alternative. We would rather you kept a tested fallback for every critical line, even if the fallback comes from someone else. A festive season lost to one short oil does neither of us any good, and a buyer who planned for it comes back.

Bulk wax: the heavy half of the order

At an 8% load, wax outweighs oil by 11.5 to 1, so a festive season's wax is the bulkiest thing you will buy. CSI lists three soy waxes for container candles at bulk sizes. Their price structures differ, and so do their stated fragrance ceilings; the last column in each table shows how many 200 g candles (184 g of wax each at 8%) one pack makes.

1
Container soy · rated up to 10% · flat per kilo

The oils behave similarly: most are flat per gram above 100 g, some have a real kilo break, and a few are dearer at the kilo. The season basket below uses one of each kind: British Rose (10.3% cheaper at 1 kg), Lavender (3.3% cheaper, first in the best-selling sort) and Woody Oud (flat at ₹4.53 a gram).

A season basket from one order

Here is what one bulk order covering a festive-and-corporate season might look like: 150 White Matte jars at 200 g, 240 tins at 85 g and 100 Salsa jars at an illustrative 160 g — 490 pieces — across three oils, at 8%. The pieces need 5,312 g of oil (5,577.6 g with a 5% allowance) and 61,088 g of wax (64,142.4 g). Two kilos of each oil covers it, leaving about 422 g for testing and top-up orders.

That is ₹170.70 per piece on average in materials, before labour, packaging, freight and GST. The oil is ₹25,640.40; the wax, at ₹32,981.00, is the largest single line. Split the oils across formats as your orders require — for example, British Rose in the wedding-season tins, Woody Oud in the corporate Salsa jars and Lavender across all three. For volumes above this, the wholesale guide explains how to request a quote and compare it with this listed baseline.

1

The CSI principle
Choose a supplier on what they publish, and plan around what they do not.
Every supplier has gaps. The good ones tell you where they are. Check the published lines, ask about the rest in writing, and keep a tested fallback for anything a festive deadline depends on.
Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November 2026 and the November–February wedding season follows. Send us your season basket on WhatsApp for a stock check at volume, a quote beyond the listed packs where it helps, a GST invoice and MSDS and IFRA documents. We do not publish courier times or restock dates, so ask before you commit to dates.

The rest of this cluster covers each piece in detail: Diwali production and Diwali quantities, wedding favours and wedding quantities, corporate gifting and 1,000-piece corporate orders.

A supplier that tells you what it does not publish is one you can plan around.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. A sourcing page written by a supplier should say where that supplier falls short. This one does: we do not publish stock quantities, restock dates, courier times, discount percentages or throw measurements, and we do not sell a fragrance sample pack. We also tell you to keep tested fallbacks, even from other suppliers.

Oil and wax prices are CSI live pricing, pulled on 24 September 2026 across all 93 products in the Fragrance Oils collection. Containers, wicks and wick stickers are from the 24–25 September 2026 catalogue pull; the White Matte Glass Jar is the figure verified for Blog 760 on 10 September 2026. Price-break statistics and totals are plain arithmetic.

The checklist is a general guide for bulk buyers, not a certification. The 8% load, 5% allowance and the 160 g Salsa fill are working assumptions. For stock at volume, quotes, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documents, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best place to buy candle fragrance oil in bulk in India?
The one that passes your checklist: prices listed per size, stock shown per size, a bulk quote route, GST invoice, and MSDS and IFRA documents. CSI lists 93 oils (73 in stock at 1 kg on 24 September 2026) with wax, containers and wicks, and quotes volume beyond the listed packs on WhatsApp. Confirm stock at volume before a festive order.
What documents should a fragrance oil supplier provide?
At minimum a GST invoice, and on request the MSDS and IFRA documentation for each oil. CSI provides all three (MSDS and IFRA on request). Ask for them with the order, not when a client asks you.
How do I know if a supplier can handle a large festive order?
Ask, in writing, for stock confirmation at your exact grams per oil and for current dispatch timing to your pin code. A product page showing "in stock" does not state quantity. CSI does not publish stock quantities or restock dates, so confirm on WhatsApp.
Does CSI have a minimum order for bulk fragrance oil?
No minimum is stated beyond the smallest listed size of each oil — 15 g for 51 oils, 50 g or 100 g for others. Listed packs go up to 1 kg; volume beyond that is quoted on WhatsApp.
Can I buy wax, jars and fragrance oils from one supplier?
Yes. CSI lists container soy waxes, 85 g tins, 50 g velvet hearts, votives, 200 ml Salsa jars, White Matte jars and wicks alongside the oils. Tealight cups and three-wick jars are not listed. Keep a tested fallback for each critical line.
Which bulk soy wax is cheapest per kg at CSI?
Natural Soy Pearl Wax at ₹424.80 a kilo in 5, 10 or 50 kg (no fragrance ceiling quoted — check the product page), then CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilo (up to 10%), then Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹599.00 a kilo in 5 kg (up to 13%; the 10 kg is ₹599.90 a kilo).
