Working a 25 kg order backwards from Diwali 2026
At 25 kg you are buying for a season, and in India the season runs to fixed dates. In 2026 Navratri begins on 11 October, Dussehra falls on 20 October, Karwa Chauth on 29 October, Dhanteras on 6 November and Diwali on 8 November. Each is a deadline for candles that are poured, cured, labelled and packed, not merely poured.
Plan with the festive buffer, not the paper count

For festive work, plan with a 10% buffer rather than 5%, because re-pours, gift-set mistakes and late orders all land in the same fortnight. 25 kg divided by 1.1 is about 22.7 kg of planned wax, which at 184 g a candle is 123 candles.
