CSI does not sell a 5 kg fragrance pack. The variant ladder stops at 1 kg, so 5 kg means five 1 kg bottles and the price is five times the kilogram price. On rose that comes to ₹15,340 — which is the whole point of this page.
₹15,340
5 × ₹3,068 · five 1 kg bottles of British Rose · ₹3.068 per gram · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI sell a 5 kg pack of rose fragrance oil? No. The largest fragrance-oil variant on the site is 1 kg, on every one of the 92 oils. Five kilograms is five 1 kg bottles, ordered as five units of the same variant.
So what does 5 kg cost?British Rose: 5 × ₹3,068 = ₹15,340. Smoked Rose Royale: 5 × ₹7,999 = ₹39,995. Those are the two rose oils CSI stocks, and Smoked Rose Royale is 2.61× British Rose per gram.
Does the price drop at 5 kg?Not automatically. The cart charges five times the kilogram price. CSI publishes no volume slab, no rate card, no minimum order quantity and no credit term — so do not plan around one. At this volume, message +91 7397976926 and ask for a quote. We are promising nothing here; we are telling you where to ask.
Is 5 kg of rose a lot of money? ₹15,340 is about what two kilograms of Vanilla Bean costs (₹15,292) and less than 1.5 kg of Amber Oud Royal (₹17,460). Rose is the one scent where a manufacturing quantity costs trial money.
The short answer
There is no 5 kg SKU. Order five 1 kg bottles. British Rose ₹3,068/kg → ₹15,340. Smoked Rose Royale ₹7,999/kg → ₹39,995.
The kilogram break is small and real. British Rose 1 kg saves ₹118 against two 500 g packs (3.7%), so 5 kg saves ₹590 against ten 500 g packs. On Smoked Rose Royale the kilogram is ₹1 dearer than two 500 g packs — buying it by the kilogram saves nothing.
5 kg is a production quantity. At 8% in a 200 g candle it pours 312 candles; at 6% in a 100 g candle, 833. Work out which of those numbers you can actually sell before you order.
The two grey bars are a small order: two kilograms of Vanilla Bean and one kilogram of Amber Oud Royal. Five kilograms of British Rose sits between them. That is the whole argument of this page in one picture — on rose, a manufacturing quantity costs roughly what a trial quantity of a premium oil costs. CSI live pricing, September 2026; the linked product pages are authoritative.
How do you buy 5 kg of rose fragrance oil in India, and what does it cost?
You buy five 1 kg bottles, because CSI has no pack larger than 1 kg on any of its 92 oils. The ladder is 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg and stops. So: British Rose at ₹3,068 per kilogram × 5 = ₹15,340, or Smoked Rose Royale at ₹7,999 per kilogram × 5 = ₹39,995. The website price does not fall automatically at five kilograms. CSI publishes no volume slab, rate card, minimum order quantity or credit term — so at this volume, message +91 7397976926 and treat the quote you get as the answer. What makes rose worth a page is the number itself. At ₹3.068 per gram British Rose is the joint third-cheapest oil per gram of all 92, level with Eucalyptus Spearmint and behind only Citrus Lemon and Citronella. Five kilograms of it costs about what two kilograms of Vanilla Bean costs (₹15,292) and less than 1.5 kg of Amber Oud Royal (₹17,460). A 5 kg commitment to rose is a small cheque by the standards of this catalogue, and that changes the decision. More in the bulk buying guide and how much oil a business needs.
One line: there is no 5 kg pack — 5 kg of British Rose is five 1 kg bottles at 5 × ₹3,068 = ₹15,340, which is less than 1.5 kg of Amber Oud Royal, and the price does not drop at volume unless a quote says so.
Before five kilograms, buy fifteen grams. British Rose 15 g is ₹94.40 — that is 0.6% of a ₹15,340 order. A 100 g bottle at ₹342.20 pours six 200 g candles at 8% and costs 2.2% of the same order. There is no version of this decision where skipping the sample is rational.
Two rose oils, one honest multiplication, and a volume break of ₹590 that nobody should mistake for a wholesale rate.
Start with what most pages in this category get wrong. There is no 5 kg fragrance-oil pack at CSI. Not on rose, not on any of the 92 oils in the fragrance oils collection. The ladder is 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and several oils do not carry all five — Smoked Rose Royale starts at 100 g, with no 15 g or 50 g variant. Searching for "5 kg rose fragrance oil" is searching for a drum that does not exist here. What exists is five 1 kg bottles on one order and one invoice.
The multiplication, both rose oils
5 kg = 5 × the 1 kg variant. Nothing is hidden and nothing is discounted.
The gap between the two is the first decision on this page and it is a large one: Smoked Rose Royale is 2.61 times British Rose per gram, so the same five kilograms costs ₹24,655 more. These are not two grades of one thing — British Rose is a clean, recognisable rose; Smoked Rose Royale is a darker, smoky composition for a different brand. The gap between them is larger than the entire fragrance budget of most first-year candle businesses, so smell both before you choose.
The website price does not drop at 5 kg, and we are not going to imply that it does. Add five 1 kg bottles of British Rose to the cart and you will be charged ₹15,340. CSI publishes no volume slab, no rate card, no minimum order quantity and no credit term. There is no published number for you to quote back at us, and any page claiming to know CSI's bulk rate is making it up. What is true is that a buyer at this volume is worth a conversation — freight, staged deliveries, documentation, GST invoicing, wax and jars on one order. That happens on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. Ask; do not assume.
Now the volume break that does exist, which is smaller than most buyers expect. British Rose is ₹1,593 for 500 g and ₹3,068 for 1 kg. Two 500 g packs cost ₹3,186, so the kilogram saves ₹118 — 3.7%. Ten 500 g packs cost ₹15,930 against ₹15,340, so buying by the kilogram saves ₹590 across a 5 kg order. That is one of the better real breaks in the range, and still only 3.7%. Smoked Rose Royale is worse: 500 g is ₹3,999, so two are ₹7,998 against ₹7,999 for the kilogram. The kilogram is one rupee dearer — ₹39,990 against ₹39,995 across five kilograms. Buying Smoked Rose Royale by the kilogram saves nothing at all, so if the 500 g bottle suits your storage or cash flow better, buy that instead.

Why cheap changes the decision, not just the invoice
The rupee risk of a 5 kg rose order is small. That is a real advantage — and it is also the trap.
Bulk fragrance buying is always discussed as a saving. On rose the saving is ₹590 — nothing. What matters at ₹3.068 per gram is how little is at stake if you are wrong. Five kilograms of British Rose is ₹15,340; of Smoked Rose Royale, ₹39,995; of Amber Oud Royal, ₹58,200. When a scent turns out not to sell — and scents do — the size of the mistake is completely different in each case.
That inverts the usual logic of volume buying: normally you commit despite the risk because the per-unit saving justifies it. On rose the per-unit saving is trivial, but the exposure is so low that the commitment stops being frightening. Overbuying ₹15,340 of a scent that does not move hurts far less than overbuying ₹58,200 of one that does not. A 5 kg rose order you only half sell leaves ₹7,670 of stock on the shelf — recoverable inside one decent festive month. The same error on a premium oud is a cash-flow event.
Now the counterweight, and it argues against our own interest. Low price per gram is not a reason to buy five kilograms of a scent you have not proved sells. It is only a reason that if you have proved it sells, the commitment is unusually easy. The order matters. A maker who has sold thirty rose candles and liked the reorder rate should probably buy 5 kg. A maker who has never listed one should buy 100 g for ₹342.20, pour six 200 g candles, cure them and put them in front of real customers. The ₹15,340 is not the risk — the risk is the months of working capital and shelf space it occupies while you learn what ₹342.20 would have taught you. We would rather sell you a 100 g bottle you reorder than a 5 kg order you regret.
Rose is brand-specific in a way that woods are not
A rose profile that reads elegant in one brand's range can read soapy, or too sweet, in another's — same oil, same load, different neighbouring scents and a different customer. British Rose and Smoked Rose Royale are not interchangeable and neither is a safe default. Test yours against your own best-seller, in your own jar, at your own load. Related: premium vs cheap fragrance oils and the 2026 oil round-up.
What 5 kg pours: the candle count
Five kilograms only means anything as a number of candles, and that depends on candle weight and fragrance load. CSI states load as a percentage of total candle weight, which is the convention in this table — a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax, not 200 g of wax plus 16 g. If your recipe sheet works on percentage of wax instead, your consumption will be slightly lower. State your convention on the sheet; getting it wrong is the commonest cause of a wrong bulk order.

The 13% column is not available on every wax
Fragrance ceilings are formulation limits set by the wax manufacturer — the most oil that wax has been made to hold in solution. They are not regulatory limits. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are rated up to 13%; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 up to 10%. So the 13% column applies only if you are pouring Chunks; on CSI 464 your right-hand column is the 10% one. Work to the figure stated on the wax you bought.
Most Indian brands sit around a 200 g jar candle at 8%, so 312 candles is the figure to hold. Fragrance cost per candle is 16 g × ₹3.068 = ₹49.09. On Smoked Rose Royale the same candle carries ₹127.98 — ₹78.89 more per unit, which is the ₹24,655 gap between the two 5 kg orders showing up one candle at a time. If your retail price cannot carry ₹128 of fragrance, the decision is made for you. Pricing candles in India in 2026 works the rest of it through.
The wax and the vessel alongside
Fragrance is not the expensive line on a British Rose candle. It is not even the second most expensive.
Five kilograms of oil does not pour itself. At 312 candles of 200 g at 8% the wax requirement is 312 × 184 g = 57.4 kg, and because wax ships in real packs the honest build is 58 kg. On Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 that is five 10 kg packs at ₹5,074, one 5 kg at ₹2,537 and three 1 kg at ₹507.40 — ₹29,429.20. The same 58 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is ₹34,787. Natural Soy Pearl Wax is the only wax with a 50 kg pack: 50 kg at ₹21,240 plus 5 kg at ₹2,124 and three 1 kg at ₹450 gives 58 kg for ₹24,714 — ₹426.10 per kilogram.
One 200 g British Rose candle at 8% · where the money actually goes
CSI 464 wax, Eco C1 wick, matte glass jar at pack-of-10 pricing
Read that table again. On a British Rose candle the fragrance is 22.4% of the bill of materials — smaller than the jar at 32.3% and barely half the wax at 42.6%. The scent is the reason the customer buys the candle and it is only the third-largest line in the cost of making it. The consequence is direct: a maker economising on rose fragrance is economising on the wrong line. Dropping the load from 8% to 6% saves ₹12.27 a candle and makes the product worse. Switching the vessel saves more and changes nothing the customer smells.
Do the vessel arithmetic before you touch the load. A 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar with a golden lug lid is ₹29.50 each at 50 or 100 pieces against ₹70.80 for the matte jar — ₹41.30 saved per candle. Across 312 candles that is ₹12,885.60, or 84% of the entire ₹15,340 fragrance bill. One sourcing decision on glass moves more money than every fragrance economy open to you, and the customer smells no difference. If the matte jar is doing real brand work, keep it and price for it — but make that a decision, not a default. See the full containers range first.
The inverse holds for the premium rose. Pour the same candle with Smoked Rose Royale and the fragrance line jumps to ₹127.98, the total becomes ₹298.04, and fragrance becomes the largest line at 42.9% while the jar falls to 23.8%. That is a different business — higher retail price, a customer who can tell the difference, and the confidence to defend both. Neither position is wrong; the bill of materials simply tells you which one you are building.
The CSI principle
On a cheap-per-gram oil, fragrance is the smallest saving available and the largest thing the customer notices.
Which is why the order of operations matters: fix the glass, fix the wick, fix the wax quantity, and leave the fragrance load alone. The whole 5 kg of British Rose in the example above is ₹15,340 — ₹7,316 less than the ₹22,656 of glass needed to hold it (32 packs of 10, at ₹708 a pack).
Buying 5 kg of rose alongside wax, wicks and 300-odd jars is one order and one conversation. GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation, and freight on a heavy consignment are all handled directly — we publish no rate card, so the quote you get is the quote.
The last question is time. At a 200 g candle and 8% each unit takes 16 g, so monthly consumption is your monthly rose candles × 16 g. To clear five kilograms inside six months you need 833 g a month — 52 candles a month. Inside nine months, 556 g and 34 candles. Inside twelve, 417 g and 26. That is the whole turnover conversation in practical terms: below about twenty-five rose candles a month, five kilograms is more than a year of stock and you should buy 1 kg at a time.
Six to nine months is our editorial judgement, not CSI policy
We think a fragrance order that clears inside six to nine months is comfortable, and we say that as working opinion — it is not a CSI rule and it is not a specification. CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for its fragrance oils, so we are not going to give you one. Do not read "two years" or any other duration into this page. What you can do instead is practical and better: keep bottles closed, cool, upright and out of direct light; record the date each bottle is opened; and judge each bottle on its own performance in a test candle rather than on a number. If you need formal documentation for a buyer or an audit, MSDS and IFRA documentation are supplied on request on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.
Five 1 kg bottles also means five batch codes, and on a floral that matters more than on a wood. Rose is a profile where a small shift in shade or strength is noticeable to a repeat customer — a deeper colour in the wax, a rose that reads greener than last month's. What you control is whether you see the shift coming and can explain it. Record, per bottle: the batch or lot code as printed, the invoice date, the date opened, the candles poured from it, and the load and wax used.
1
Log the five bottles as five separate linesNot "5 kg British Rose, September". Five rows, each with its own batch code, invoice date and opening date. The moment a customer says "this one smells different", a single-line record gives you nothing to check and five rows give you an answer within a minute.
2
Pour one reference candle from each bottle and keep itSame jar, same wax, same load, labelled with the bottle number and the pour date. Five reference candles out of 312 is 1.6% of the run and it is the only way to compare bottle four against bottle one rather than against your memory of bottle one. Use a weighing scale at ₹354 so the loads are actually identical.
3
Open bottles in order and finish each before starting the nextThree bottles open at once means you cannot attribute anything to anything. One at a time, in sequence, keeps the record readable — and four of the five stay sealed longer, which is the only storage advantage five bottles have over a drum.
4
Put the bottle number on the candle's own batch labelOne extra character on the label you are already printing. When a query comes back six weeks later it turns "a rose candle from October" into "bottle three, poured 14 October, 8% in CSI 464". Candle care sticker rolls start at ₹413 per 500 if you do not already print your own.
One last piece of honesty. Five kilograms of one scent is a range decision, not just an oil: it assumes rose stays in your line-up for six to nine months and that you are not about to rebrand. If that is in doubt, two kilograms at ₹6,136 keeps you pouring for four months and costs nothing in forgone volume economics, because the kilogram price is identical at two units and at five. There is no penalty for buying less — an odd upside of publishing no slab. For the wider floral picture, Japanese Cherry Blossom at ₹4,842/kg, Rajnigandha (Tuberose) at ₹4,460/kg and Jasmine at ₹3,923/kg each deserve a 100 g bottle alongside your rose test.
Five kilograms of rose is a small cheque and a large decision. Most buyers get those the wrong way round.

Why trust this guide
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. The commercially convenient version of this page would have invented a 5 kg pack, attached a wholesale rate and implied a saving. There is no 5 kg pack, no published rate, and the real kilogram saving on British Rose is ₹118 against two 500 g bottles — 3.7%. A buyer who plans a season around a discount that does not exist stops being a buyer.
Every figure here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. British Rose is ₹3,068 per kilogram and ₹3.068 per gram, which makes it the joint third-cheapest oil per gram across all 92 fragrance oils on the store. Smoked Rose Royale is ₹7,999 per kilogram. Fragrance ceilings quoted for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (up to 13%) and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (up to 10%) are formulation limits stated by the wax maker, not regulatory limits, and they are not interchangeable between waxes.
For a quote at 5 kg or above, freight on a heavy consignment, GST invoicing, or MSDS and IFRA documentation, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We publish no slab, rate card, minimum order quantity or credit term, so the quote you receive is the whole of it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a 5 kg pack of rose fragrance oil from CSI?
No. The largest fragrance-oil variant on the store is 1 kg, and that is true of all 92 oils — the ladder is 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, with some oils missing the smaller sizes. To buy five kilograms you order five units of the 1 kg variant. British Rose works out at 5 × ₹3,068 = ₹15,340; Smoked Rose Royale at 5 × ₹7,999 = ₹39,995.
Is there a discount for buying 5 kg?
Not on the website. The cart charges five times the kilogram price, and CSI publishes no volume slab, rate card, minimum order quantity or credit term — so there is no published figure for a 5 kg order and this page is not going to invent one. A buyer at this volume should message +91 7397976926 and ask for a quote covering the oil, the freight and anything else on the same order. Treat that quote as the answer and plan nothing before you have it.
How many candles will 5 kg of rose fragrance oil make?
At CSI's convention of load as a percentage of finished candle weight: a 200 g candle at 8% takes 16 g, so 5 kg pours 312 candles. The same 5 kg gives 416 at 6%, 250 at 10% and 192 at 13%. On smaller candles it goes further — 625 candles of 100 g at 8%, or 833 at 6%. Remember that 13% is only available on Luxury Soy Wax Chunks; CSI 464 is rated to 10%.
Is the 1 kg bottle cheaper than two 500 g bottles?
On British Rose, yes, but only slightly: ₹3,068 against ₹3,186, a saving of ₹118 or 3.7%. Across a 5 kg order that is ₹590. On Smoked Rose Royale the answer is no — the kilogram is ₹7,999 and two 500 g bottles are ₹7,998, so the kilogram is one rupee dearer and buying it by the kilogram saves nothing whatsoever. Check the two prices on the product page before assuming the larger pack is the better buy.
Which rose should I buy — British Rose or Smoked Rose Royale?
They are different scents at very different prices, not two grades of one thing. British Rose is ₹3.068 per gram and Smoked Rose Royale is ₹7.999 — 2.61 times more. In a 200 g candle at 8% that is ₹49.09 of fragrance against ₹127.98. British Rose keeps fragrance at 22.4% of your bill of materials; Smoked Rose Royale takes it to 42.9% and needs a retail price to match. Buy a small bottle of each first — British Rose 15 g is ₹94.40, and Smoked Rose Royale starts at ₹799 for 100 g.
How long will 5 kg of rose fragrance oil last?
In production terms, divide 5,000 g by your monthly usage: a 200 g candle at 8% takes 16 g, so 52 candles a month clears 5 kg in six months, 34 a month in nine, 26 in twelve. In storage terms, CSI publishes no shelf-life figure and we will not state one. Keep bottles closed, cool, upright and out of light, record the date each is opened, and pour a test candle from every new bottle rather than trusting a duration.

The 5 kg question, stated once more: CSI sells no fragrance-oil pack larger than 1 kg. The variant ladder is 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg and not every oil carries all five sizes. Every "5 kg" figure on this page is five units of the 1 kg variant with the multiplication shown. CSI publishes no volume slab, rate card, minimum order quantity or credit term, and none is implied here.
Figures verified September 2026: British Rose (british-rose) ₹94.40 / 15 g, ₹212.40 / 50 g, ₹342.20 / 100 g, ₹1,593.00 / 500 g, ₹3,068.00 / 1 kg = ₹3.068 per gram; 5 × ₹3,068 = ₹15,340; 10 × = ₹30,680; kilogram saves ₹118 against two 500 g packs (₹3,186), so ₹590 across 5 kg against ₹15,930. Smoked Rose Royale (smoked-rose-royale) ₹799.00 / 100 g, ₹3,999.00 / 500 g, ₹7,999.00 / 1 kg = ₹7.999 per gram, no 15 g or 50 g variant; 5 × ₹7,999 = ₹39,995; kilogram is ₹1 dearer than two 500 g packs (₹7,998). Fragrance ceilings — up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — are wax-manufacturer formulation limits, not regulatory limits. The six-to-nine-month turnover window is CSI editorial judgement and not a CSI specification; CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils.
