Buy Candle Fragrance Oils Online in Bhubaneswar

What should a first order contain? Two orders, really. Four 15 g trials for ₹432.44 to find out what you and your customers like, then a pouring order of ₹2,253.32 — one 50 g and one 100 g bottle, 1 kg of soy wax, 20 wicks, ten 70 g votive jars, five 200 ml jars and a sheet of wick stickers. Together: ₹2,685.76 and fifteen candles.
Is the bigger bottle always cheaper per gram? No. On Honeydew Melon two 50 g bottles cost ₹1.18 less than one 100 g, and on Spicy Cinnamon they cost ₹1 less. Tiny sums — but proof that the ladder must be read, not assumed.
What is the single most important check on arrival? That the oil weighs what you paid for. Put each bottle on a scale, subtract the empty weight of a spare of the same size, and write the date on the label. Everything else — caps, seals, glass, condensation — takes another two minutes.
Which of the five rungs to click
Most CSI oils are sold at five sizes: 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Fifty-five of the 107 fragrance listings carry all five, which is what makes a trial-then-scale order possible in a single product. But the price per gram does not fall smoothly, and on some oils it does not fall at all between the middle rungs. Here is the whole ladder for the four oils in this guide, per gram, to four decimal places — because that is where the reversals hide.
| Oil | 15 g | 50 g | 100 g | 500 g | 1 kg | Where the ladder stops paying |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Honeydew Melon | ₹7.0013 | ₹4.3424 | ₹4.3542 | ₹3.3984 | ₹3.3984 | 100 g is dearer per gram than 50 g; 1 kg matches 500 g exactly |
| Peach Melon Berry | ₹5.4280 | ₹4.4604 | ₹4.1772 | ₹4.1772 | ₹4.1772 | Flat from 100 g upwards — nothing to gain above the 100 g |
| Raat Ki Rani | ₹8.6667 | ₹7.4000 | ₹7.0000 | ₹6.7740 | ₹6.7740 | Falls properly to 500 g, then stops. The kilo saves nothing |
| Spicy Cinnamon | ₹7.7333 | ₹6.9800 | ₹6.9900 | ₹6.4980 | ₹6.4990 | Dearer per gram at 100 g and at 1 kg than at the rung below |
Do not read those reversals as a reason to buy small. A rupee on a hundred grams is noise, and two bottles are two caps to open and two chances to lose grams in decanting. Read them as proof that the ladder is a table to check, not a rule to trust. On these four, the real savings are the step from 15 g to 50 g — a 38% fall per gram on Honeydew Melon — and the step from 100 g to 500 g. Between and above those the ladder is often flat, which is good news for a first-time buyer: starting small costs almost nothing per candle.
When the page tells you almost nothing
This is the part of buying online that nobody writes about honestly. Across the 107 CSI fragrance listings, 81 state a recommended candle load and 62 state a cure time — but that means 26 state no load at all, and some pages carry a scent description and nothing else. Two of the four oils in this guide are in that group. You can still buy them; you just have to buy them differently.
| Oil | Stated load | Note pyramid | Flash point | How to buy it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raat Ki Rani | 6–10% candles, 10–15% wax melts | Full — green stems and fresh ozone, night-blooming jasmine and white florals, soft amber and musk | Not stated | Plan it. You can design a candle from the page and confirm with one test jar |
| Peach Melon Berry | Not stated | Full — juicy peach and ripe cantaloupe, sweet strawberry and watermelon, creamy vanilla and a hint of coconut | Not stated | Pour at 8% and stay there. The notes tell you the family; the load is your discipline |
| Spicy Cinnamon | Not stated | Full — cinnamon bark and pink pepper, clove, nutmeg and soft vanilla, amber, tonka and sandalwood | Not stated | Treat the vanilla and tonka in the base as a discolouration risk in white wax and test in the colour you sell |
| Honeydew Melon | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | 15 g first, always. A page with no fields is a page that can only be answered by a burn test |
Four oils to open an order with
Four fruit-and-flower scents that suit a Bhubaneswar opening range: two bright ones that work in heavy air, one evening floral that does the gifting work, and one warm spice for the Diwali-to-winter end of the year. Each card lists every rung, the price per kilo, how many 120 g jars that pack scents at 8%, and the oil cost inside a single 70 g votive.

The ₹2,685.76 order, line by line
Here is the whole thing, in the two stages you should actually place it in. Stage one buys decisions. Stage two buys candles. The vessels are deliberately mixed — ten small votives to spread across both scents and five bigger jars to see how the same recipe behaves in more wax.
| Line | Pack | Price | Why it is in the order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Honeydew Melon | 15 gm | ₹105.02 | Undocumented page — the trial is the only honest way in |
| Peach Melon Berry | 15 gm | ₹81.42 | Cheapest trial in the set; tests whether fruity sells for you |
| Raat Ki Rani | 15 gm | ₹130 | The gifting candidate; dearest per gram, so trial before scaling |
| Spicy Cinnamon | 15g | ₹116 | The seasonal candidate for Diwali and the wedding months |
| Stage one subtotal | ₹432.44 | Four decisions, none of them expensive to get wrong | |
| Raat Ki Rani | 100 gm | ₹700 | ₹7.00/g against ₹7.40 at 50 g — the rung genuinely pays here |
| Honeydew Melon | 50 gm | ₹217.12 | ₹4.3424/g — fractionally cheaper per gram than the 100 gm |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | 1 kg | ₹599 | Stated 8–13% load, add at 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C — numbers to follow |
| Eco Candle Wicks · Thin (C1) | 20 wicks | ₹118 | ₹5.90 each at every pack size; 15 to pour and 5 spare |
| Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram | Pack of 10 | ₹318.60 | ₹31.86 each, fill weight stated in grams — easy to plan around |
| 200ml Salsa Glass Jar, 63 mm lug cap | 5 Pcs | ₹200.60 | ₹40.12 each; a screw-down cap for candles that wait in humid weeks |
| Candle Wick Stickers | 1 sheet · 40 | ₹100 | Holds each wick central so the wick is the only variable |
| Stage two subtotal | ₹2,253.32 | Fifteen candles' worth of everything | |
| Order total | ₹2,685.76 | ₹179.05 of materials per candle |
Now the number that will decide your pricing. A single 70 g Raat Ki Rani votive costs ₹115.54: 64.4 g of wax at ₹599/kg is ₹38.58, 5.6 g of oil at ₹7.00/g is ₹39.20, the wick is ₹5.90 and the jar is ₹31.86. A 200 ml Salsa jar of Honeydew Melon at a 71.2 g fill lands within a rupee of it — ₹115.55: ₹42.65 of wax, ₹26.89 of oil, ₹5.90 of wick and ₹40.12 of glass. The votive spends its money on oil; the bigger jar spends it on glass. Which one your market pays more for is the thing the first fifteen candles are meant to tell you, and how to price candles in India takes the maths forward from here.
The ordering path, step by step
Six steps, in this order. Most first orders go wrong at step one, which happens entirely off the website.
What to check when the parcel lands
Unpack on a clean dry table, with your order confirmation open and a pen. Bhubaneswar adds one item to the standard list — everything glass will be at whatever temperature the parcel travelled at, and bringing cold glass into a humid room is how condensation gets inside a jar you are about to pour into.
| Check | How | If it fails |
|---|---|---|
| Weight of each oil bottle | On the scale; compare against the rung you paid for, allowing for the bottle itself | Photograph the reading with the label visible and message WhatsApp the same day |
| Right variant, right rung | Read every label against the order confirmation — 50 gm and 100 gm bottles look similar | Do not open it. An unopened bottle is a much easier conversation |
| Caps and seals | Look for seepage around the neck and under the cap; wipe and re-tighten every cap | Decant into a clean dry bottle rather than leaving a leaking cap to work loose |
| Glass, inside and out | Hold each jar to the light; run a fingertip around the rim for chips | Set damaged pieces aside, photograph before discarding, and re-count usable vessels |
| Condensation inside vessels | Torch through the glass. A film on the inside wall is water, not dust | Leave jars open in the room for a few hours, then wipe dry with a clean lint-free cloth |
| Wax bag integrity | Check the seal; transfer any opened bag into a closed container | Nothing dramatic — just do not leave soy flakes open to humid air for weeks |
What the second order looks like
The second order is where a hobby starts behaving like a business, and it is almost entirely a subtraction exercise. You drop what did not sell, move what did onto a bigger rung, and buy vessels in the pack size that actually changes the price.
| Line | First order | Second order | What changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scents | Four at 15 g, two poured | The one or two that sold | Trials stop. You are no longer paying ₹7 to ₹8.67 a gram to learn |
| Winning oil | 100 gm ₹700 (Raat Ki Rani) | 500 gm ₹3,387 | ₹7.00 → ₹6.774 a gram. Real, but small — the kilo saves nothing more |
| Second oil | 50 gm ₹217.12 (Honeydew Melon) | 500 gm ₹1,699.20 | ₹4.3424 → ₹3.3984 a gram, a 21.7% fall — the biggest saving in the order |
| Wax | 1 kg ₹599 | 5 kg ₹2,995 | Nothing per kilo. ₹599 flat at 1 kg and 5 kg — buy for convenience, not for price |
| Wicks | 20 ₹118 | 100 ₹590 | Nothing. ₹5.90 each at every pack size from 10 to 1,000 |
| 200 ml Salsa jars | 5 Pcs ₹200.60 (₹40.12 each) | 50 Pcs ₹1,475 (₹29.50 each) | ₹531 saved against buying ten 5-packs. The vessel is where pack size pays |
| Above 1 kg of one oil | Not relevant yet | WhatsApp quote | There is no larger listed fragrance pack, and no price to guess |
Read down the "what changes" column and one thing stands out: on this order the vessel is where scale pays, not the oil and not the wax. Ten packs of five Salsa jars cost ₹2,006; one pack of fifty costs ₹1,475 — the same fifty jars for ₹531 less. Meanwhile 5 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks is ₹599 a kilo exactly as 1 kg is, and Eco wicks are ₹5.90 each whether you buy ten or a thousand. So the second order is not "buy everything bigger". It is: bigger on jars, one rung up on the oils that sold, and precisely the same on wax and wicks. The 500 g and kilo decision itself is worked through in buying 1 kg of candle fragrance oil in Bhubaneswar, and the pack-ladder economics in wholesale fragrance oils delivered to Bhubaneswar.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and has no shop or stockist in Bhubaneswar. A supplier writing an ordering guide has every incentive to talk you up a rung. This one does the opposite: it tells you to spend ₹432.44 on trials you may never repeat, and it points out the four places on these four oils where the smaller bottle is cheaper per gram. We would rather sell you 50 g that works than 500 g that sits.
Every price and pack size here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, which is always authoritative. Loads, temperatures and notes are quoted only where a page states them — Raat Ki Rani's 6–10%, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks' 8–13% with a stated 80–90°C add and 70–80°C pour — and where a page states nothing, as Honeydew Melon's does, this guide says so instead of borrowing a figure from a similar scent. No CSI oil page states a shelf life or a storage instruction, and none is invented here. Delivery times are not published and are not estimated.

Cheapest 15 g in the range ₹68.44, cheapest 50 g ₹170, cheapest 100 g ₹300. Per-gram figures in the ladder table are pack price ÷ grams. Order totals: stage one ₹105.02 + ₹81.42 + ₹130 + ₹116 = ₹432.44; stage two ₹217.12 + ₹700 + ₹599 + ₹118 + ₹318.60 + ₹200.60 + ₹100 = ₹2,253.32; total ₹2,685.76 over 15 candles = ₹179.05 each. Fragrance load is treated as a share of finished candle weight: a 70 g votive at 8% is 64.4 g wax + 5.6 g oil, so ten need 644 g and 56 g; the remaining 356 g of the kilo across five 200 ml jars is 71.2 g each, needing 6.19 g of oil each, 30.96 g in total — 86.96 g against 150 g bought. Single-candle costs: 70 g Raat Ki Rani votive = ₹38.58 wax + ₹39.20 oil + ₹5.90 wick + ₹31.86 jar = ₹115.54; 200 ml Salsa jar of Honeydew Melon at 71.2 g = ₹42.65 + ₹26.89 + ₹5.90 + ₹40.12 = ₹115.55. Jar saving: ten 5-packs ₹2,006 against one 50-pack ₹1,475 = ₹531. Stated specifications as published: Raat Ki Rani 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 8–13% with 10% recommended, add fragrance at 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C. Honeydew Melon's page states no load, notes, cure time or flash point; Peach Melon Berry and Spicy Cinnamon state notes but no load. Twenty-six of 107 fragrance listings state no load; 55 carry all five rungs. Capacity on the 200 ml Salsa jar page is stated in millilitres, not grams. Cure of 14–21 days for container soy is standard practice, not a CSI claim. Delivery times are not published by CSI and none is estimated here. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
