Buying fresh oils by the kilo is the obvious move. On four of the ten in stock, the kilo is not the cheapest gram — and on one of them it is 33% dearer.

Candle Business Guides · Fresh Family
Ten fresh, aquatic and green oils are in stock at CSI in September 2026, and the wholesale gram runs from ₹3.07 to ₹16.52 depending on which bottle and which pack you reach for. This guide prices every listed pack, shows the oil bill for a 500-candle production run, and marks the four oils where buying the kilo is the more expensive decision.
₹24,544
the fragrance for 500 × 200 g candles at 8% — eight 1 kg bottles of Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹3,068 each, the cheapest fresh kilo in stock. The same run in the dearest in-stock fresh oil costs ₹1,32,224 · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What does a fresh fragrance oil cost wholesale in India? The 1 kg packs run ₹3,068 for Eucalyptus Spearmint, ₹3,327.60 for Cucumber Green Tea, ₹3,999 for Pomegranate Splash, ₹4,956 for Blue Ocean, ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood and ₹6,867.60 for Sage and Cedarwood. The 500 g packs start at ₹1,652.

Is the kilo always the cheapest gram? No. On four of the ten fresh oils in stock a smaller listed pack carries a lower price per gram. The one that matters is Sage and Cedarwood: ₹5.17 a gram at 500 g against ₹6.87 at 1 kg, so two 500 g packs cost ₹1,699.20 less than one kilo for the same 1,000 g.

How much oil does a production run need? A 200 g candle at 8% takes 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax, so 100 candles need 1.6 kg, 500 need 8 kg and 1,000 need 16 kg — eight and sixteen 1 kg bottles.

Can I order more than a kilo? Yes, as multiple 1 kg bottles at the listed rate. CSI does not list a 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack, so the listed per-kilo price is the ceiling for a larger quantity, not a discount you can assume. Recurring volumes are quoted on WhatsApp.
The short answer
Read the ladder before you read the kilo price: the price per gram does not fall in a straight line. On Sage and Cedarwood the 500 g pack is the cheapest gram; on Pomegranate Splash it is the 100 g; on Blue Ocean it is the 50 g.
Two oils carry the wholesale volume here: Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹3.07 a gram and Cucumber Green Tea at ₹3.33 both list a complete 15 g-to-1 kg ladder with every pack in stock. Everything above ₹8 a gram is a fine-fragrance oil that also states a candle load.
Buy the pack you can reorder, not the pack you can afford: one fresh oil is down to its 100 g pack and another is sold out in all three sizes. Check the ladder is intact before the label goes to print.

What the fragrance costs for 500 × 200 g candles at 8% — 8 kg of oil, September 2026 Eucalyptus Spearmint · 8 × 1 kg ₹24,544 Cucumber Green Tea · 8 × 1 kg ₹26,620.80 Pomegranate Splash · 8 × 1 kg ₹31,992 Blue Ocean · 8 × 1 kg ₹39,648 Mint Sandalwood · 8 × 1 kg ₹39,992 Sage & Cedarwood · 16 × 500 g ₹41,347.20 Sage & Cedarwood · 8 × 1 kg ₹54,940.80 — the same 8 kg, ₹13,593.60 dearer Bar length = the oil bill for one 500-candle run at 8%. Wax, wick, jar and label are all extra. The last two bars are the same oil and the same quantity, bought two different ways from the same product page.
Eight kilos of fragrance is what a 500-candle run at 8% actually consumes. The gap between the cheapest and the dearest in-stock fresh oil across that run is ₹1,07,680 — and the last two bars show that the pack you choose can move the bill almost as much as the scent you choose.
Straight answer
Which fresh fragrance oils can I buy wholesale in India, and what do they cost per kilo?
Ten fresh, aquatic and green oils are in stock at CSI in September 2026, and nine of them list a 1 kg pack you can buy today. The wholesale spine of the family is Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹3,068 per kilo — ₹3.07 a gram, ₹49.09 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8% — and Cucumber Green Tea at ₹3,327.60, because both publish a complete 15 g to 1 kg ladder with every pack in stock. Above them sit Pomegranate Splash at ₹3,999, Blue Ocean at ₹4,956, Mint Sandalwood at ₹4,999 and Sage and Cedarwood at ₹6,867.60 — though on that last one the 500 g pack at ₹2,584.20 is ₹5.17 a gram against the kilo's ₹6.87, so two of them beat one kilo by ₹1,699.20. The four perfume-grade marine and woody-fresh directions run from ₹8,800 to ₹16,528 a kilo and state a candle load of 7–10%, starting at 7%. A 500-candle run at 8% needs 8 kg of oil: ₹24,544 in Eucalyptus Spearmint, ₹39,648 in Blue Ocean, ₹1,32,224 in the dearest. One kilo is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, so anything above that is multiple bottles at the listed rate, and recurring volumes are quoted on WhatsApp.
One line: nine fresh kilos are buyable today from ₹3,068, the whole family fits in a ₹3.07-to-₹16.52 per-gram band, and on four oils the smaller pack is the cheaper gram.
Moving a fresh scent into production? Eucalyptus Spearmint 500 g ₹1,652 or 1 kg ₹3,068, Cucumber Green Tea 500 gm ₹1,663.80, Blue Ocean 500 gm ₹2,478 — three complete ladders, all in stock, all priced per pack on the product page.

The ten fresh oils in stock, priced

A wholesale shortlist is not a list of scents you like. It is a list of scents whose pack ladder is still standing.

"Fresh" is a customer's word before it is a catalogue's, so the first job is deciding what belongs in the family. The test used here is the product page's own: an oil counts as fresh if its page states a scent family containing the word "Fresh" — "Fresh / Herbal / Spa", "Aquatic / Floral / Fresh", "Fresh Icy Aquatic", "Fruity-Fresh / Clean" — or, where a page states no family, if its published pyramid is built on green, watery or mint notes. That gives ten in-stock oils and one listed but sold out in every size. Citrus-led oils are excluded on purpose: they are bought, priced and costed as citrus, and have their own wholesale page in citrus candle fragrance oils wholesale in India.

Per-gram figures below use the cheapest listed pack that is actually in stock, which is not always the largest — that is the point of the next section. The per-candle column follows the series convention: a 200 g finished candle at 8% is 184 g of wax plus 16 g of oil. Where a page states its percentage as a share "of total wax weight" instead, the gram figures shift slightly; pick one convention and keep it.

Designer-inspired icy marine "Scent family Fresh Icy Aquatic (Aquatic Woody)" "Recommended load - candles 7-10% (start at 7%)" ₹9.08 (every pack) ₹145.28 ₹9,080
Retailer-inspired aquatic-woody "Scent family Aquatic-Woody / Fresh" "Recommended load - candles 8-10% soy wax" ₹11.90 (100 g — the only pack in stock) ₹190.40 Listed at ₹11,220, sold out
Designer-inspired aquatic-fruity "Scent family Fresh Aquatic-Fruity Woody" "Recommended load - candles 7-10% (start at 7%)" ₹16.52 (50 g) ₹264.32 ₹16,528
Worked out above: cost per candle = cheapest in-stock price per gram × 16 g. Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3,068 ÷ 1,000 = ₹3.068/g × 16 = ₹49.09 · Cucumber Green Tea ₹1,663.80 ÷ 500 = ₹3.3276/g × 16 = ₹53.24 · Pomegranate Splash ₹399 ÷ 100 = ₹3.99/g × 16 = ₹63.84 · Blue Ocean ₹247 ÷ 50 = ₹4.94/g × 16 = ₹79.04 · Sage and Cedarwood ₹2,584.20 ÷ 500 = ₹5.1684/g × 16 = ₹82.69 · designer-inspired aquatic-fruity ₹826 ÷ 50 = ₹16.52/g × 16 = ₹264.32. The rest follow the same two steps.

Two structural facts fall out of that table, and they should shape the order rather than the shortlist. The first is that the family splits cleanly at about ₹8 a gram. Below it sit six candle-grade oils written for wax. Above it sit four fine-fragrance oils written for skin first, which state a candle load as a secondary use — their pages say so plainly, describing themselves as a "Concentrated fine perfume oil designed for extrait and EDP formulations. Not a diluted candle fragrance." Both are legitimate purchases; they are not interchangeable at the same shelf price.

The second is the colour position, which is unusually good here and worth money on a white or frosted vessel. Eucalyptus Spearmint, Blue Ocean and Sage and Cedarwood each state 0% vanillin and no discolouration risk; Pomegranate Splash and the retailer-inspired aquatic-woody oil both state "minimal to no vanillin content" with a musk-and-sugar or cedarwood-and-musk base. The exceptions name their reason: Mint Sandalwood states "Moderate discoloration is possible due to the sandalwood, amber, and woody materials" and the aquatic-fruity oil "Mild to moderate discoloration is possible due to the vanilla, agarwood, and cinnamon content". Cucumber Green Tea says nothing about colour at all, so pour one white test jar before a pale collection goes to photography.

Where the wholesale break really falls

Every wholesale instinct says the biggest pack is the cheapest gram. On CSI's fresh oils that is true six times out of ten and false four times, and the error ranges from trivial to ₹1,699.20. The table prints the listed price per gram at each pack size so you can see the shape of each ladder rather than assume it. Nothing here is a discount: these are the prices published on each product page in September 2026, divided by the grams in the pack.

Listed price per gram at every pack size · September 2026
Where each fresh oil's cheapest gram actually sits
Oil 15 g 50 g 100 g 500 g 1 kg Cheapest gram
Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹4.56 ₹4.25 ₹3.54 ₹3.30 ₹3.07 1 kg — a true ladder, 33% below the sample

Pomegranate Splash — ₹4.98 ₹3.99 ₹4.00 ₹4.00 100 g, by ₹0.009 a gram
Blue Ocean ₹6.21 (sold out) ₹4.94 ₹4.95 ₹4.96 ₹4.96 50 gm, by ₹0.016 a gram
Mint Sandalwood — ₹5.98 ₹5.49 — ₹5.00 1 kg
Sage and Cedarwood — ₹7.08 ₹6.96 ₹5.17 ₹6.87 500 gm, by ₹1.70 a gram
Retailer-inspired woody-aromatic — ₹8.80 ₹8.80 ₹8.80 ₹8.80 Flat — choose on handling
Designer-inspired icy marine — ₹9.08 ₹9.08 — ₹9.08 Flat — choose on handling
Retailer-inspired aquatic-woody ₹13.27 (sold out) ₹11.98 (sold out) ₹11.90 ₹11.78 (sold out) ₹11.22 (sold out) 100 g — the only pack you can buy
Designer-inspired aquatic-fruity — ₹16.52 ₹16.53 — ₹16.53 50 g, by ₹0.008 a gram
The mistake: buying the Sage and Cedarwood kilo. This is the one place in the fresh family where the ladder genuinely breaks, and it is worth real money. The 500 gm pack lists at ₹2,584.20, which is ₹5.1684 a gram. The 1 kg pack lists at ₹6,867.60, which is ₹6.8676 a gram — 32.9% more for the same oil from the same page. Two 500 gm packs come to ₹5,168.40 against ₹6,867.60 for the kilo, a difference of ₹1,699.20 on one thousand grams. Across the 8 kg a 500-candle run needs, sixteen 500 gm packs cost ₹41,347.20 and eight kilos cost ₹54,940.80 — ₹13,593.60. Prices change, so check the product page before you order; but check it, rather than assuming the biggest number on the page is the best rate.

The other three inversions are rounding, and saying so is more useful than dramatising them. Buying a Blue Ocean kilo as twenty 50 gm bottles would save ₹16 and cost you twenty caps to open and twenty part-bottles to track; Pomegranate Splash's 100 g saves ₹9 across a kilo and the aquatic-fruity oil's 50 g saves ₹8. Buy those three in the largest pack. The lesson is not "always buy small" — it is that the price per gram is a fact you can check in ten seconds, and four times in ten it will surprise you.

Two ladders are flat, and that is useful information
The retailer-inspired woody-aromatic oil is ₹8.80 a gram at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and the designer-inspired icy marine is ₹9.08 a gram at 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg. A flat ladder means the pack size carries no price penalty and no reward, so the decision is operational: how fast will you use it, and how much money do you want sitting in one bottle. For a scent you have not sold through a season, a flat ladder is permission to start at 100 g.

Three fresh oils to buy in volume

Three picks, chosen on what their pages publish and on whether the pack ladder can carry a repeat order. Each table shows every listed pack, its price, its price per kilogram and how many 100 g candles at 8% — 8 g of oil each — the pack pours. A 100 g candle is the format most Indian fresh and spa lines use for gifting sets and second SKUs, and at 8 g of oil even a 15 g sample becomes a real test candle rather than a blotter.

Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Oil
The cheapest fresh gram in stock and the only oil in the family whose price per gram falls at every step of the ladder — ₹4.56 at 15 gm down to ₹3.07 at 1 kg. Its page publishes what a production buyer needs: a measured "Flashpoint 199°C", "Soy Wax Load Up to 10%" with "Cure time: 48-72 hours", "Paraffin Wax Load Up to 6%", "Vanillin Content 0%" and a wick note of "Cotton or Wooden". Stated strength is "Moderate to strong - clean, energising throw" — the page's description, not a measurement, so your cured burn test still decides.

Green · second-cheapest gram, complete ladder
Cucumber Green Tea
The other intact ladder, and the quieter scent of the two — a soft watery green for bedrooms, offices and gifting sets where eucalyptus reads too clinical. Its page publishes a three-tier pyramid — "Top Notes: Crisp cucumber, fresh green tea leaves", "Heart Notes: Delicate jasmine, hints of lemon", "Base Notes: Clean musk, light woods" — and one usage line, "For optimal scent throw, we recommend using 8-10% fragrance oil per pound of wax". Note the unit: that is per pound of wax, not per finished candle, so convert it before you scale a batch. No flash point, cure time or colour statement is published, which leaves a white test jar and your wax page's add temperature to lean on.

Sage and Cedarwood Fragrance Oil
The fresh-woody single note in the range, described on its page as bringing together "the calming freshness of sage with the grounding warmth of cedarwood" for "customers who love fresh, woody, and herbal aromas". It publishes a measured "Flashpoint: 190°C", "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)", "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax", "Cure Time: 48–72 hours for soy wax" and a wick note of "Cotton or wooden wicks for a steady burn". Stated strength is "Moderate to strong, providing a subtle but noticeable throw" — an unusually honest line. Read the size table before you order: the 500 gm pack is the cheapest gram here by a wide margin.

Costing a 500-candle run

Wholesale pricing only means something inside a production plan, so here is the arithmetic for a run of 500 × 200 g candles at 8%. The oil requirement is fixed by the load, not the scent: 500 × 16 g = 8,000 g. The wax is 500 × 184 g = 92,000 g — nine 10 kg bags plus two 1 kg packs, since CSI lists soy wax in 500 g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg — plus a planning allowance of 3–5% for spills, top-ups and rejects.

Designer-inspired aquatic-fruity 8 × 1 kg ₹16,528 ₹1,32,224 ₹264.45

Now put the wax beside it. Ninety-two kilos of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at the listed ₹507.40 a kilo is ₹46,680.80, or ₹93.36 inside each candle. So a 500-candle run in Eucalyptus Spearmint carries ₹71,224.80 of wax and fragrance — ₹142.45 a candle before a wick, jar, label or box; the same run in the aquatic-fruity oil carries ₹1,78,904.80, or ₹357.81 a candle. That is not a quality gradient, and the two belong at different retail prices.

Do not plan a run on a per-gram figure you have not multiplied out. ₹3.07 and ₹4.94 a gram feel like the same number on a product page. Across a 500-candle run they are ₹24,544 and ₹39,648 — a ₹15,104 gap, roughly nine 10 kg bags of CSI 464. Per-gram prices are for comparing; per-run totals are for deciding.
Fresh and spa scents sell hardest through the Indian summer and the monsoon and act as the clean counterpoint in a festive range — and with Diwali on 8 November 2026, a scent locked in September can still be poured, cured the full two to three weeks and packed without rushing. Bulk pricing, current stock on 500 g and 1 kg packs, GST invoicing and SDS or IFRA documentation are handled on WhatsApp.
Order in bulk on WhatsApp

Ordering above one kilo

Every fragrance page in this catalogue stops at one kilo. What happens next is a conversation, not a checkout button.

This is the plainest fact in the guide and the one most often glossed over: 1 kg is the largest fragrance oil pack CSI lists. There is no 5 kg bottle and no 10 kg drum. So a monthly requirement of 8 kg is eight 1 kg bottles at the listed rate, 16 kg is sixteen, and the listed per-kilo price is the ceiling for that quantity, not a rate that improves because the number got bigger. Bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation are handled on WhatsApp, so a recurring requirement is worth a message rather than a guess. We will not print what a quote will say.

1
Convert the sales plan into grams before you convert it into rupeesCandles per month × grams of finished candle × load = grams of oil. Four hundred 150 g candles at 8% is 400 × 12 g = 4.8 kg a month; at 10% it is 6 kg. Do this per scent, not for the range — a five-scent range at 4.8 kg total is five part-used bottles.
2
Check the ladder on the product page, one scent at a timeDivide each pack price by its grams. It takes ten seconds per oil and it is the only way to find the Sage and Cedarwood-shaped surprises. Write the cheapest in-stock rate into your costing sheet with the date beside it — prices change and the product page is the authority.
3
Buy one kilo of the scent that has already passed a cured burn testA kilo at 8% pours 62 × 200 g candles, 83 × 150 g or 125 × 100 g — a season of one SKU. It is the right first wholesale purchase only if the recipe is written down and already burned. If it is not, the 100 g pack is the honest next step: ₹354 in Eucalyptus Spearmint.
4
Message the bulk line with quantities, not adjectives"Eucalyptus Spearmint 8 kg and Cucumber Green Tea 4 kg, monthly from November, GST invoice, SDS required" is a request that can be answered. "Best price for bulk fresh oils" is not. Send it to +91 7397976926 and ask for the documentation in the same message.
5
Keep one bottle back as the referenceSet aside a sealed 100 g of the batch you approved, labelled with the date, and smell every later batch against it before it goes into wax. It is the cheapest consistency control a small brand has. The wider method is in how to maintain fragrance consistency across commercial candle batches.
The CSI principle
Wholesale is not a bigger bottle. It is a smaller unknown.
The kilo does not make the candle cheaper by much — on most of this family it moves the oil cost by a few rupees a candle. What it changes is how many decisions are already made when the pouring starts. Buy the kilo of the scent whose recipe is finished, and buy 100 g of everything that is still a question.

How to verify a fresh oil before a wholesale order

A wholesale order is the point at which a mistake stops being a bottle and starts being a season. Everything below is checkable before you spend: four things the product page will tell you, and one only your own bench can.

Stated cure window The oil's product page "48-72 hours" for soy on six of the ten; the retailer-inspired aquatic-woody page says "48-72 hours minimum" Use 14–21 days, standard practice for soy containers, and judge nothing before it
Measured flash point The oil's product page, or the SDS on request Only three fresh oils publish one: 199°C, 190°C and 143°C (290°F) Ask for the SDS figure on WhatsApp — never borrow a number from a similar scent
Colour position The oil's product page A stated 0% vanillin, or a named reason for toning (sandalwood, agarwood, vanilla, cinnamon) Pour one white jar and leave it in daylight for two weeks before the collection is shot
Throw in your wax Your bench, nowhere else A full melt pool in two to three hours and a room you can smell from the doorway There is no substitute — this is the check that decides the order

Two rows deserve a caution. The fresh family publishes exactly three measured flash points — Eucalyptus Spearmint "Flashpoint 199°C", Sage and Cedarwood "Flashpoint: 190°C" and Blue Ocean "Flashpoint 143°C (290°F)". The four perfume-grade oils carry only the shared line "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which is not a measurement for that oil, and Cucumber Green Tea publishes nothing. Flash point governs safe handling and add temperature, not how strong a candle smells: see what flash point means in candle fragrance oil.

On IFRA: the standards set maximum use levels by product category. Several of these pages refer to IFRA in their own words and the perfume-grade listings publish a maximum-usage table with a candle row, but none publishes a certificate number, amendment or category — so nobody, including us, should tell you a specific document exists for a specific oil. CSI supplies documentation on request through WhatsApp, and asking before a kilo order is normal. The reasoning is in why candle makers should check IFRA documentation.

The wholesale test that is worth ₹24,544. Before the eight kilos, pour six 150 g jars from a 100 g pack: three at 8% (12 g of oil, 138 g of wax) and three at 10% (15 g and 135 g). That is 81 g of oil and 819 g of wax — ₹286.74 of Eucalyptus Spearmint at the 100 gm rate, ₹415.56 of CSI 464, ₹35.40 of Eco Candle Wicks and ₹424.80 of White Matte Glass Jars: ₹1,162.50, or ₹193.75 a jar. Burn one of each pair at day 3, day 10 and day 17. If the 8% jars carry the room you have saved the 10% version of the oil bill, ₹6,136 across the run. If neither carries it, you learned that for ₹1,162.50 instead of ₹24,544.

Stock depth and the reorder risk

The dangerous thing about the fresh family is not its price. It is that the interesting scents have the thinnest ladders. Two oils list every pack in stock, one is down to a single pack, and one is unbuyable in all three of its sizes — though its page is still worth reading, since it states that its patchouli, amber and oakmoss content may cause slight cream-to-amber toning in white or light wax.

Packs listed against packs in stock · September 2026
How deep each fresh oil's ladder actually is today
Oil Packs listed Packs in stock What that means for a range decision
Eucalyptus Spearmint 5 5 No gap from sample to production — the safest fresh line to build on
Cucumber Green Tea 5 5 Same, at ₹0.26 a gram more — the natural second scent
Pomegranate Splash 4 4 Complete from 50 g up; entry ₹249, no 15 g sample
Blue Ocean 5 4 Only the 15 gm sample is gone; entry 50 gm ₹247
Mint Sandalwood 3 3 No 500 g listed, so the step to volume is a full kilo
Sage and Cedarwood 4 4 Complete, but buy at 500 gm — the kilo is the dear route
Retailer-inspired woody-aromatic 4 4 Flat ₹8.80 a gram at every pack
Designer-inspired icy marine 3 3 Flat ₹9.08 a gram; 100 g then 1 kg
Retailer-inspired aquatic-woody 5 1 100 g only; the ₹11,220 kilo is not a price you can pay today
Designer-inspired aquatic-fruity 3 3 At ₹16.52 a gram, a small-jar oil rather than a volume SKU
Designer-inspired citrus-marine 3 0 Sold out in all three sizes — ask on WhatsApp, design around it

Translate that into a range decision and it is not subtle. A signature scent is a promise printed on a label and repeated to a customer who liked it. A promise you can keep only while one pack size remains in stock is not a range decision. Build the line on the two complete ladders, put the scarce and expensive oils into limited runs and gift sets where a sell-out is a story rather than a crisis, and check availability on WhatsApp before the label order. How many scents a new brand should carry is worked through in how many fragrances a new candle brand should launch with.

A wholesale price you cannot reorder at is a sample price with a bigger bottle attached.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle-making raw materials; it does not manufacture fragrance oil and does not sell finished candles. The convenient version of this page would push the 1 kg pack on every oil, because kilos are the largest line on our invoice. Instead it tells you that on four of the ten fresh oils a smaller pack is the cheaper gram, that on one of them the kilo costs ₹1,699.20 more for the same thousand grams, and that two of the most interesting scents in the family cannot currently carry a repeat order. A maker who scales a scent that sells keeps buying. A maker who scales a scent that does not, stops.

Every price, pack and stock position comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, which is always authoritative. Every quoted load, cure window, flash point, note and colour statement is verbatim from that product's own page; where a page states nothing, this guide says so rather than filling the gap. No flash point has been estimated or carried across from a similar scent, and the shared "> 93°C" line is shown as the threshold it is. Stated loads are formulation percentages, not regulatory limits, and the lower of the oil page's figure and your wax page's figure is the one to pour.

Frequently asked questions

What is the wholesale price of fresh fragrance oil in India?
At CSI in September 2026 the 1 kg packs are ₹3,068 for Eucalyptus Spearmint, ₹3,327.60 for Cucumber Green Tea, ₹3,999 for Pomegranate Splash, ₹4,956 for Blue Ocean, ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood and ₹6,867.60 for Sage and Cedarwood, with four perfume-grade marine and woody-fresh oils from ₹8,800 to ₹16,528. That is ₹3.07 to ₹16.53 a gram, or ₹49.09 to ₹264.45 of oil inside a 200 g candle at 8%. The linked product pages always show current pricing.
Does CSI sell fragrance oil in 5 kg or 10 kg packs?
No. One kilogram is the largest fragrance oil pack listed, on every oil in the range. A larger requirement is met with multiple 1 kg bottles at the listed rate — 8 kg is eight bottles, 16 kg is sixteen — and the listed per-kilo price is the ceiling for that quantity rather than a discount you can assume. For recurring or factory-scale volumes, bulk pricing, GST invoicing and documentation are handled on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We will not quote a figure here, because the quote depends on your quantity, scent mix and schedule.
How much fresh fragrance oil do I need for 500 candles?
At the series convention, a 200 g candle at 8% takes 16 g of oil, so 500 candles need 8 kg — eight 1 kg bottles. At 10% the same 500 candles need 10 kg. For 150 g candles at 8% it is 12 g each, or 6 kg for 500; for 100 g candles, 8 g each and 4 kg. The wax runs the other way: 500 × 184 g is 92 kg, which is nine 10 kg bags plus two 1 kg packs, and it is worth adding a 3–5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups.
Is a 1 kg pack always cheaper per gram than a 500 g pack?
Not in this family. Sage and Cedarwood lists 500 gm at ₹2,584.20 — ₹5.17 a gram — against ₹6,867.60 for 1 kg, which is ₹6.87 a gram, so two 500 gm packs cost ₹1,699.20 less than one kilo for the same thousand grams. Blue Ocean's cheapest gram is its 50 gm pack and Pomegranate Splash's is its 100 g, though both by pennies. On Eucalyptus Spearmint, Cucumber Green Tea and Mint Sandalwood the larger pack genuinely is cheaper. Divide each listed price by its grams before ordering.
Which fresh fragrance oil is best for a candle business buying in volume?
On published evidence, Eucalyptus Spearmint: the cheapest fresh gram at ₹3.07, a price that falls at every step of the ladder, all five packs in stock, and a page stating a measured "Flashpoint 199°C", "Up to 10%" for soy with a 48–72 hour cure, 0% vanillin and a cotton or wooden wick. Cucumber Green Tea is the natural second scent at ₹3.33 a gram with an equally complete ladder. Both still need your own cured burn test in your wax, your jar and your room before a kilo is ordered.
Do fresh and aquatic oils discolour white candle wax?
Mostly not, and it is this family's commercial advantage. Eucalyptus Spearmint, Blue Ocean and Sage and Cedarwood each state 0% vanillin and no discolouration risk, and Pomegranate Splash and the retailer-inspired aquatic-woody oil both state "minimal to no vanillin content" with a cedarwood-and-musk or musk-and-sugar base. The exceptions name their cause: Mint Sandalwood states "Moderate discoloration is possible due to the sandalwood, amber, and woody materials". Cucumber Green Tea states nothing about colour, so pour one white test jar first.

The 500-candle run is 8,000 g of oil and 92,000 g of wax, wax costed at the listed ₹507.40 per kg for CSI 464 (₹46,680.80); the 3–5% wax allowance for spills and top-ups is a planning allowance, not a product specification. The six-jar trial is 81 g of oil and 819 g of wax: ₹286.74 of Eucalyptus Spearmint at the 100 gm rate of ₹3.54/g, ₹415.56 of CSI 464 at ₹0.5074/g, six Eco Candle Wicks at ₹5.90 and six White Matte Glass Jars at ₹70.80 — ₹1,162.50. Cure guidance of 14–21 days for soy containers reflects standard practice; Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November. CSI lists no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack and no volume discount is implied anywhere on this page. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
