Candle Supplier Guides · Costing
Put the bundle beside the singles it replaces, at three depths of discount, and finish with the one number that answers the question: how much extra volume it has to create.
50.73%
extra volume a 20% bundle discount must generate to break even · ₹790.02 of CSI materials in a three-candle bundle · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How do I know if my bundle discount is too deep? Compare contribution, not revenue. Three candles sold singly at an illustrative ₹649.00 return ₹1,156.98 over a ₹790.02 CSI materials bundle. The same three at 20% off return ₹767.58. The bundle is only paying its way if it brings in 50.73% more volume than the singles it replaced.

What does each discount level actually cost? On an illustrative ₹649.00 single price, a three-candle bundle gives away ₹194.70 at 10%, ₹292.05 at 15% and ₹389.40 at 20%. Those come straight out of contribution, which falls to ₹962.28, ₹864.93 and ₹767.58 against ₹1,156.98 for the same three candles sold one at a time.

Do my materials get cheaper when I sell three at once? Barely, and it is worth knowing by how little. Buying Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 in the 5 kg pack rather than the 1 kg brings the wax line from ₹130.00 to ₹127.40 a candle — ₹7.80 across a bundle of three, against ₹194.70 handed back at the shallowest discount. The discount is not funded by the shopping.

What is the single test to apply? Ask who the bundle buyer would have been without it. If they would have bought three candles anyway, the bundle cost you the whole discount. At 20% off, 50.49% of your bundle buyers have to be people who would otherwise have taken one candle for the bundle to break even — which is a marketing claim, and one worth testing rather than assuming.
The short answer
Compare contribution, not revenue: Three singles at an illustrative ₹649.00 give ₹1,156.98 over materials. The same three bundled at 15% off give ₹864.93. Revenue looks similar; the gap is ₹292.05 of profit.
The bundle costs ₹790.02 in CSI materials: Three 200 g candles on Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468, Fresh Strawberries at 8% of wax weight, three Maroon/ Deep Red Matte jars and three wicks, at September 2026 pricing. The shared outer carton is not a CSI product and stays a blank.
Then ask for the volume: A 10% bundle needs 20.23% more volume to stand still, a 15% bundle 33.77%, a 20% bundle 50.73%. If your bundle is not moving that much more stock, it is a discount, not a strategy.
How many of every hundred bundle buyers must be genuinely new before a bundle discount pays for itself, at three discount levels How much of a bundle has to be new businessEach bar is a hundred bundle orders. The₹649.00 single price and the three discount levels are illustrative.Outer carton, courier and fees are your own figures and are not drawn.
What it shows: every hundred bundle orders split into the share that must be genuinely new business — buyers who would otherwise have taken a single candle — and the share that can safely be customers you already had. The break-even share rises from 25.2 in a hundred at a 10% bundle discount to 50.5 at 20%. Deliberately left out: the outer carton, ribbon, outbound courier and payment fees, none of which is a CSI product and none of which is guessed at here; the ₹649.00 single price and the three discount depths are illustrative figures chosen to show the method, not recommendations.
Straight answer
How do I tell whether a bundle discount is cutting too deep?
Put the bundle next to the singles it replaces and compare contribution, because revenue will not tell you anything useful. Start with a real cost. Three 200 g candles built on live CSI stock — Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 at ₹650.00 a kilogram, Fresh Strawberries at ₹3.54 a gram and 8% of wax weight, a Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar at ₹70.80 and an Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹5.90 — are ₹263.34 each and ₹790.02 for the set, at September 2026 pricing. At an illustrative single price of ₹649.00, three sold one at a time bring ₹1,947.00 and leave ₹1,156.98 over materials. Bundle them at 10% and you hand back ₹194.70, leaving ₹962.28. At 15% you hand back ₹292.05 and keep ₹864.93. At 20% it is ₹389.40 handed back and ₹767.58 kept. Now the test the whole page is built to reach: to earn the same total contribution as the singles, the bundle has to sell 20.23% more units at 10% off, 33.77% more at 15% and 50.73% more at 20%. Read those as a hurdle rather than a verdict — a bundle that genuinely lifts volume by half is a good bundle at 20% off, and a bundle that simply lets your existing three-candle buyers pay less is an expensive one at 10%. The way to tell them apart is the share of bundle orders that are new: at 20% off, 50.49% of them have to be. The materials side will not rescue any of this. Moving Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 from the 1 kg to the 5 kg pack takes the wax line from ₹130.00 to ₹127.40 a candle, which is ₹7.80 across the bundle — useful, and roughly a twenty-fifth of the shallowest discount above.
One line: Three singles keep ₹1,156.98; the same three bundled at 20% keep ₹767.58, and need 50.73% more volume to match.
A three-candle bundle is ₹790.02 of CSI materials. Three 200 g candles on Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 at ₹650.00/kg, Fresh Strawberries at ₹3.54/g and 8% of wax weight, three Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar at ₹70.80 each and three Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹5.90. Sold singly at an illustrative ₹649.00 they keep ₹1,156.98; at 20% off as a bundle, ₹767.58.

Two questions hide inside one bundle

Bundles do two things at once. Only one of them is good for you, and they arrive in the same order.

A bundle does two separate things to your business and they pull in opposite directions. It raises order value, which is genuinely valuable: one pick, one pack, one label, one parcel, one conversation with a customer instead of three. And it lowers realised price per candle, which is the cost of buying that convenience. Whether the bundle is a good idea is simply whether the first effect is bigger than the second, and you cannot answer that by looking at revenue, because a bundle almost always makes revenue per order look better.

So the question has to be asked in contribution — what is left after materials — and it has to be asked against the right alternative. The alternative to a bundle is not nothing. For some buyers the alternative was three separate orders at full price, and for those the bundle is a straight loss equal to the discount. For others the alternative was one candle, or no candle at all, and for those the bundle is a clean gain. Every serious bundle decision is an argument about how the two groups are mixed, and the rest of this page turns that argument into rupees.

The figures throughout use an illustrative single-candle price of ₹649.00 and three illustrative bundle depths of 10%, 15% and 20%. Those are not recommendations and they are not CSI prices — they are round numbers chosen so the method is visible. Swap your own price and your own depth into the same arithmetic and the shape of the answer will not change.

Cost the bundle once, on materials you can buy

Three candles, one cost sheet. The bundle does not get a discount from your suppliers just because it has a ribbon on it.

The costing unit here is the series convention, stated once and carried throughout: 200 g of wax plus 16 g of fragrance oil at 8% of wax weight, so 216 g goes into each jar. The wax is Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468, whose page states a maximum load of up to 13% of total wax weight along with a melting point of 50–53°C and a pour temperature of 58–60°C. The oil is Fresh Strawberries, whose page states 6–9% of total wax weight and an IFRA certification. Where a wax ceiling and an oil range differ the lower one governs, so 9% is your ceiling on this pairing and the 8% used here sits just under it — which is worth noticing, because a bundle is exactly the moment a maker is tempted to push the load up to make the gift feel stronger.

Live CSI pricing, September 2026, taxes included. CSI publishes no fill weight for this vessel, so no capacity is claimed — the jar is priced per piece and 200 g of wax is the costing unit, not an assertion that the two match. The outer carton and the courier are genuinely blank: CSI does not sell them and this page will not invent a figure for them.

One structural point before the prices arrive. The bundle's materials are exactly three times one candle's, because nothing in the recipe gets cheaper by being poured three times in a row. That is not a criticism of bundles — it is the reason the whole analysis is about the price side. The only genuine cost savings a bundle creates sit in the two blank rows: one carton instead of three, one outbound parcel instead of three. Those are real and they can be large, and they are still yours to measure, because they are not CSI products and no figure for them would be honest here.

The CSI principle
A bundle saves you packing, not pouring.
Three candles cost ₹790.02 in materials whether they leave in one box or three. Only the price and the postage change.

Three depths of discount, three answers

The discount is quoted on the set price and paid out of what the set earns. Those are very different numbers.

Here is the comparison that matters, run three times. The left-hand column is the same three candles sold one at a time at the illustrative ₹649.00. The others are the same three candles as a bundle at each depth. Materials are identical in every column at ₹790.02, so every rupee of difference is price.

Priced above: an illustrative single-candle price of ₹649.00 and illustrative bundle depths of 10%, 15% and 20% — chosen to show the method, not recommended. Materials of ₹790.02 a bundle are live CSI figures for September 2026: Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 at ₹650.00/kg, Fresh Strawberries at ₹3.54/g, Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar at ₹70.80 and Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹5.90, three of each. The outer carton, ribbon, outbound courier and any payment fee are not included in contribution; they are paid out of it.

Look at the last two rows together, because they contain the thing that surprises people. Contribution margin on the sale only falls from 59.42% to 49.28% across the whole range — ten points, which does not sound alarming. But contribution per candle falls from ₹385.66 to ₹255.86, which is a third of it, and a third is what your business actually feels. Percentages flatter deep discounts; rupees do not. Always finish the comparison in rupees per candle and rupees per order, and use the percentage only to talk to other people.

Judging the bundle on average order value. The bundle lifts order value from ₹649.00 to ₹1,557.60 at 20% off, which looks like a triumph on a dashboard and tells you nothing, because order value is a revenue measure and the discount is a profit event. The honest comparison is contribution per order against what the same customer would otherwise have produced. If they were going to buy three anyway, your order value did not move at all — it fell from ₹1,947.00 — and your contribution fell by ₹389.40.
Discounting the bundle and the singles at once. A festive code that also applies to the bundle stacks two discounts on the same three candles, and the arithmetic compounds rather than adds. A bundle already at 20% off, taken with a further 10% code, realises ₹1,401.84, which leaves ₹611.82 of contribution against ₹1,156.98 on singles — a little over half. If you run bundles, exclude them from site-wide codes, or price the bundle as your discount and stop there.

The incremental-volume test

A discount is an investment in volume. Here is the return it has to earn.

Everything above describes one bundle. The decision, though, is about a programme: you are choosing to sell part of your range this way for a season. So convert the discount into the thing it is supposed to buy, which is volume, and ask how much volume it has to buy before it has paid for itself.

The arithmetic is short. Contribution from the singles is ₹1,156.98 per set of three. Contribution from the bundle at 10% off is ₹962.28. Divide the first by the second and you need 1.2023 bundles to match one set of singles — in other words, 20.23% more volume. At 15% off the requirement is 33.77%, and at 20% off it is 50.73%. That last figure is the one to sit with: a fifth off the price has to move half as many sets again before your profit is where it started.

20% off ₹767.58 150.7 50.73% ₹76,758.00
Priced above: contribution figures derived from an illustrative ₹649.00 single price and illustrative 10%, 15% and 20% bundle depths, against ₹790.02 of live CSI materials per bundle (September 2026, taxes included). The hundred-bundle column multiplies unrounded per-bundle figures, so it may sit a paisa away from the rounded figure times a hundred. No CSI product is discounted in any of these figures — the discount is the reader's own, given to their own customer.

Two cautions about how to use that hurdle. First, it assumes the extra volume costs nothing extra to create; if you are also paying for reach to sell the bundle, the real hurdle is higher, and that advertising line is one of the blanks this page will not fill in. Second, it assumes the bundle's units are additional. They usually are not, entirely — which is the whole of the next section.

A bundle earns its discount in volume or it does not earn it at all.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia

Who would have bought anyway

The most expensive bundle order is the one placed by a customer who already wanted three candles.

Split your bundle buyers into two groups. The first would have bought three candles regardless — a gifting customer, a repeat buyer stocking up before Diwali. For them the bundle changes nothing except that you charged less, so each of those orders costs you the full discount: ₹194.70, ₹292.05 or ₹389.40 depending on depth. The second group would have bought one candle, or none, and the bundle is what moved them. For them the bundle is a large gain: at 10% off, a bundle returns ₹962.28 against the ₹385.66 a single would have returned.

So there is a break-even mix, and it is computable. Assume, as an assumption and not as measured data, that a buyer moved by the bundle would otherwise have bought exactly one candle. Then the share of bundle orders that must come from that group is the discount divided by the gap between the two alternatives — ₹771.32, the difference between three singles and one. That gives 25.24% at a 10% bundle, 37.86% at 15% and 50.49% at 20%.

The break-even mix · stated assumption, illustrative prices
How much of the bundle's volume has to be genuinely new

15% off −₹292.05 +₹479.27 37.86% 38 of 100
20% off −₹389.40 +₹381.92 50.48% 50 of 100
Priced above: the same illustrative ₹649.00 single price and illustrative bundle depths against ₹790.02 of live CSI materials (September 2026). The break-even shares rest on a stated assumption — that a buyer who takes the bundle would otherwise have bought one candle rather than none — which is an assumption and not measured data. If those buyers would have bought nothing at all, every bundle order is pure gain and the shares fall; if they would have bought two, the shares rise. State the assumption you use and keep it the same from season to season.

That is a testable claim rather than a philosophical one, which is the point of writing it as a percentage. Run the bundle for a month and compare units shipped and contribution banked against the month before. If total contribution rose, the mix was on the right side of the line. If units rose and contribution did not, you have found your answer and it is the expensive one. The measurement is cheap and the assumption is not.

A CHEAPER LEVER THAN A DEEPER DISCOUNT
Before you move from 10% to 20%, try changing what is in the bundle rather than what it costs. Three different fragrances in one box is a gift; three of the same is a stock-up, and only one of those needs a discount to be attractive. A set built as a discovery trio — a fruity, a floral and a woody — is usually easier to sell at 10% than an identical trio at 20%, and it costs you ₹194.70 instead of ₹389.40. Message WhatsApp if you want help picking three that contrast rather than compete.

What genuinely gets cheaper at three

Something really does fall when you buy and ship in threes. It is smaller than the discount, and it is worth having anyway.

It would be convenient if buying materials for bundles brought the per-candle cost down enough to fund the discount. Mostly it does not, and this page will be precise rather than encouraging about it. On Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 the rate does fall in the larger packs: ₹650.00 a kilogram at 500 g and 1 kg, ₹637.00 a kilogram at 5 kg and 10 kg. That takes 200 g of wax from ₹130.00 to ₹127.40, so ₹2.60 a candle and ₹7.80 a bundle. Set that against ₹194.70 handed back at the shallowest depth and the proportions are clear.

On the fragrance the ladder is worth checking rather than assuming. Fresh Strawberries runs ₹7.55 a gram at 15 gm, ₹4.25 at 50 gm and ₹3.78 at 100 gm, then ₹3.54 at both 500 gm and 1 kg — so the last step up buys you nothing per gram at all, only fewer reorders. The vessel behaves the same way: the Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar is ₹70.80 a jar in the Pack of 5 and ₹70.80 a jar in the Pack of 10. CSI publishes no quantity-discount ladder across the store, and the honest summary for a bundle maker is that the shopping list is not where a bundle discount gets paid for.

Freight is the exception and it moves in your favour twice. On the way in, four separate 1 kg packs of Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 carry a stored packed weight of 1.5 kg each and bill at ₹180.00 a parcel on Standard Shipping, so ₹720.00 in total, against ₹630.00 for the single 5 kg pack at its stored 6.0 kg — a difference of ₹90.00, on the published bands as at September 2026. On the way out, three candles in one carton replace three parcels, and that saving is usually the largest real benefit a bundle produces. It is also entirely yours: CSI publishes rates for delivering to you, not for your outbound parcels, so that row stays blank on this page and gets your own figure in your sheet.

Setting a bundle discount you can defend

Work from the contribution you are willing to lose, not from a number that looks good on a banner.
1
1. Cost one candle properly, then multiply by threeStart from the four lines CSI can price. On this stack that is ₹263.34 a candle and ₹790.02 a bundle, at September 2026 rates. Do not adjust materials downward because it is a bundle. Add your own carton and courier as separate rows so you can see which part of the bundle is genuinely cheaper.
2
2. Write down the contribution you will not go belowDecide the floor before you decide the discount, in rupees per bundle rather than as a percentage. If ₹900.00 a bundle is your floor, a 10% discount clears it at ₹962.28 and a 15% discount does not at ₹864.93. That single comparison settles the depth faster than any amount of looking at competitors.
3
3. Convert the depth into a volume hurdleDivide the singles' contribution by the bundle's and subtract one. At 10% that is 20.23% more volume; at 20%, 50.73%. Then ask honestly whether your last bundle campaign moved that much more stock. If you have no data, run the shallow version first — a discount is easy to deepen and very hard to withdraw.
4
4. Measure the mix after a month, not the revenueCompare contribution banked, not units shipped and not order value. At 20% off you need roughly 50.49% of bundle orders to be buyers who would otherwise have taken a single candle. You will not measure that perfectly, but you will see it in the direction of total contribution from one month to the next, which is the only test that matters.

One last framing that helps at festival time. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026, and with a 14 to 21 day cure plus transit, gift sets for it want to be poured by about mid-October. A festive bundle is the easiest bundle to sell and therefore the one least in need of a deep discount — demand is doing the work that the discount would otherwise have to do. If you are going to run 20% off at any point in the year, running it in the quiet weeks after the season rather than during it will cost you far less contribution for the same lift in volume.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA sells the wax, fragrance, vessels and wicks in this bundle, and this page still says that the cheapest way to improve a bundle is usually to change what is in it rather than to cut its price — three contrasting fragrances at 10% off beat three identical ones at 20%, and cost you ₹194.70 instead of ₹389.40. It also says plainly that buying bigger packs does not fund a bundle discount: the whole wax saving available here is ₹7.80 a bundle.

Every CSI price here is live stock in September 2026, taxes included, and the linked product pages are authoritative if anything changes. Fragrance load is a percentage of wax weight, as CSI product pages state it: the costing unit throughout is 200 g of wax plus 16 g of oil at 8%, 216 g poured per candle. Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 states a maximum of up to 13% of total wax weight, a melting point of 50–53°C and a pour temperature of 58–60°C; the Fresh Strawberries page states 6–9% of total wax weight and an IFRA certification, so the lower of the two figures governs and 9% is the ceiling on this pairing. CSI publishes no fill weight for the Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar, so none is stated here and the vessel is priced per piece. The ₹649.00 single price and the 10%, 15% and 20% bundle depths are illustrative figures used to show the method, not recommendations and not CSI prices; the break-even mix rests on a stated assumption about what a bundle buyer would otherwise have bought, which is an assumption and not measured data. Shipping figures are the published flat bands by weight as at September 2026 and use the stored packed weight of the pack named. Outer cartons, inserts, labels, outbound courier, payment fees, breakage and labour are not CSI products and are left blank throughout. This page does not calculate your tax position and gives no tax or pricing-law advice — ask your own adviser.

Frequently asked questions

Is a bundle worth running if my margin is thinner than this example?
The thinner the margin, the higher the hurdle, and the arithmetic is unforgiving about it. Here a 20% bundle needs 50.73% more volume because contribution is 59.42% of the sale. On a candle where contribution is half that, the same 20% discount needs far more volume than any realistic campaign delivers. Work out your own hurdle before the banner is designed, not after.
Should the bundle contain three of the same candle or three different ones?
Three different ones, if you want to discount less. A trio of contrasting fragrances is a gift and a discovery set, and it can carry a shallower discount because the format itself is the reason to buy. Three identical candles are a stock-up, which is a price decision by nature. Materials are the same either way — ₹790.02 on this stack — so the choice costs you nothing except which oils you pour.
Can I count the saved packing time as funding the discount?
You can count it, but count it honestly and in its own row. Packing one parcel instead of three is a genuine saving and it is yours to measure; it is not a CSI cost and no figure for it appears on this page. The test is whether your measured saving on carton, courier and time exceeds the ₹194.70 to ₹389.40 you are handing back. On most small-batch operations it does not, but it is a real offset and it belongs in the sheet.
What happens to the numbers if I bundle two candles instead of three?
The method is identical and only the multiples change: materials become twice ₹263.34, the singles comparison becomes twice ₹649.00, and the volume hurdle is still contribution on singles divided by contribution on the bundle. What does change is the cannibalisation risk, which falls — a two-candle set is closer to what a normal customer was going to buy anyway, so it needs less new business to justify itself.
Does a bundle need a bigger wick or a different load?
No, and it should not get one. A bundle is a packaging decision, not a formulation decision — each candle is still 200 g of wax with 16 g of oil at 8% of wax weight in its own jar, burning on its own Eco Candle Wick Thin (C1). The ceiling still governs too: the Fresh Strawberries page states 6–9% of total wax weight against up to 13% on the CSI 468 page, so 9% is the limit, whatever the gift box says.
How do I price a bundle for a festive season like Diwali?
Discount it less, not more. Diwali 2026 is 8 November 2026 and gift sets for it want pouring by about mid-October once you allow 14 to 21 days of cure plus transit. Demand in that window does the work a discount would otherwise have to do, so a festive trio at 10% costs you ₹194.70 and will usually shift the same volume a 20% trio would at ₹389.40. Save the deep version for the quiet weeks that follow.
Cost your bundle on materials you can actually buy

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The method — cost the bundle as the sum of its units, compare contribution rather than revenue against the same units sold singly, convert the discount into a volume hurdle, and then ask what share of bundle buyers must be new — works with any supplier, any product and any currency.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me. One longer review is shortened with an ellipsis; wording is otherwise unedited. One is below five stars and one is not recorded as a verified purchase — shown as recorded. Not recorded by Judge.me as a verified purchase, so shown without a verified-buyer badge: Ashwini. No location is shown against any review because Judge.me does not store one.

Figures verified September 2026 (CSI live pricing). Illustrative figures, labelled as such and used only to show the method: a single-candle price of ₹649.00 and bundle discounts of 10%, 15% and 20%, giving bundle prices of ₹1,752.30, ₹1,654.95 and ₹1,557.60 against ₹1,947.00 for three singles; the stacked example of a 20% bundle taken with a further 10% code realises ₹1,401.84; a contribution floor of ₹900.00 a bundle is used as an example of a floor, not a recommendation. The break-even mix assumes a buyer moved by the bundle would otherwise have bought one candle — an assumption, not measured data. Series convention: fragrance load is a percentage of wax weight, so the costing unit is 200 g of wax plus 16 g of oil at 8%, 216 g poured per candle, and that reading is carried throughout. Live CSI prices, September 2026, taxes included. Wax: Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 500 g ₹325.00 (₹650.00/kg), 1 kg ₹650.00 (₹650.00/kg), 5 kg ₹3,185.00 (₹637.00/kg), 10 kg ₹6,370.00 (₹637.00/kg); the page states a maximum load of up to 13% of total wax weight, a melting point of 50–53°C, a pour temperature of 58–60°C and a shelf life of 60 months in cool, dry storage. Fragrance: Fresh Strawberries 15 gm ₹113.28 (₹7.55/g), 50 gm ₹212.40 (₹4.25/g), 100 gm ₹377.60 (₹3.78/g), 500 gm ₹1,770.00 (₹3.54/g), 1 kg ₹3,540.00 (₹3.54/g); the page states 6–9% of total wax weight and IFRA certification. Vessel: Maroon/ Deep Red Matte Glass Jar Pack of 5 ₹354.00 and Pack of 10 ₹708.00, both ₹70.80 a jar; no fill weight is published for it, so no capacity is stated on this page. Wick: Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 500 for ₹2,950.00 (₹5.90 each). Materials ₹263.34 a candle and ₹790.02 a bundle of three. Shipping: the 1 kg pack of the wax stores a packed weight of 1.5 kg and the 5 kg pack stores 6.0 kg; the cheapest published band covering 1.5 kg is ₹180.00 on Standard Shipping and the band covering 6.0 kg is ₹630.00, both as published in September 2026. Diwali 2026 is 8 November 2026. Outer cartons, inserts, ribbon, labels, outbound courier, payment and marketplace fees, breakage, advertising and labour are not CSI products and are left as blanks. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
