Candle Business Guides · Bhubaneswar × premium
Fourteen CSI fragrance oils carry a live 1 kg pack at ₹9,000 or more — one in six of the buyable kilos, and the tier most people mean by premium. This page costs that tier inside the candle a premium buyer actually gives away, sets out the three things premium can honestly mean on a product page, and counts what those pages do not publish.
₹108.96–₹288.67
of oil inside one 120 g gift candle at a 10% load (12 g of oil), across the 14 live kilos at ₹9,000 and above · entry bottles from ₹166 to ₹1,499 · none of the 14 states a measured flash point · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What counts as a premium fragrance oil here? A price band, nothing more. Fourteen of the 87 buyable kilos are ₹9,000 or above, running from ₹9,080 to ₹24,056. There is no grade, no certificate and no authority that issues the word "premium" — so the only useful question is which parts of a page you could hold the supplier to later.

What does it cost per candle? In a 120 g gift candle at 10%, ₹108.96 to ₹288.67 of oil. In a 70 g votive at 8%, ₹50.85 to ₹134.71. In a 200 g jar at 8%, ₹145.28 to ₹384.90. The step from the ₹6,499 median kilo to the cheapest premium kilo adds ₹30.97 to a 120 g candle.

Is the documentation better at this end? No — it is worse. Among the 87 live kilos, 31% of those under ₹4,000 state a measured flash point. Above ₹8,000, none do. Only 2 of the 14 run the full 15 g to 1 kg ladder, and not one of the 14 carries a published customer review.

What is the cheapest honest way in? Two of the 14 sell a 15 g bottle — Santal Noir at ₹166 and Tangerine at ₹199. On the other twelve the smallest live bottle is 50 g or 100 g, from ₹454 to ₹1,499. Budget for the entry ticket before you budget for the kilo.
The short answer
Premium is a price you charge, not a grade you were issued. Three things on a page can be checked — a published maximum-usage-rate table, a discolouration statement that names the responsible notes, and a bottle small enough to test cheaply. Everything else is adjectives.
Cost it in the candle you will actually gift. Premium candles in this market are mostly gifts, and gift candles are mostly 120 g or smaller. At 12 g of oil a candle, even the ₹24,056 kilo lands at ₹288.67 — a shelf-price decision, not a disqualification.
Expect to pay more for the sample than you would lower down. The premium tier's cheapest bottles are ₹454 to ₹1,499 on twelve of fourteen listings. That is the real barrier at this end of the range, not the kilo.

As the kilo price rises, the published evidence falls away Solid bar = share stating a measured flash point · outlined bar = share running all five pack sizes · 87 buyable kilos Under ₹4,000 · 16 kilos 31% measured flash point (5 of 16) 81% full ladder ₹4,000–₹7,999 · 46 kilos 26% measured flash point (12 of 46) 70% full ladder ₹8,000–₹11,999 · 18 kilos 0% — not one of the 18 22% full ladder ₹12,000 and above · 7 kilos 0% measured flash point · 0% full ladder · 0 published reviews Bars are percentages of the buyable kilos in each band, on one scale; the full-ladder bar means all five sizes from 15 g to 1 kg are live.
This is the single most useful fact about the premium tier, and no supplier enjoys printing it. Cheap oils in this catalogue are the best documented: five of the sixteen kilos under ₹4,000 publish a measured flash point and thirteen of them run the whole pack ladder. Above ₹8,000 the measured flash points stop entirely, the ladders shorten, and the published reviews run out. Premium buys you a better description. It does not buy you better evidence, which means it obliges you to test more carefully, not less.
Straight answer
What makes a fragrance oil premium, and what does the premium tier actually cost per candle?
In the CSI catalogue "premium" is a price band: 14 of the 87 buyable kilos sit at ₹9,000 or above, from Santal Noir at ₹9,120 to ₹24,056 at the very top. Costed in the candle a premium buyer actually gives away — a 120 g gift jar at a 10% load, 108 g of wax and 12 g of oil — that band is ₹108.96 to ₹288.67 of oil per candle. Build the whole candle and Santal Noir comes to ₹229.73 of materials and Lavender Oud to ₹264.29, including a ₹47.20 amber jar, ₹64.69 of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, a ₹5.90 wick and a ₹2.50 sticker. Three things on these pages can honestly be checked: a published maximum-usage-rate table (Amber Oud Royal and Lavender Oud both publish one, stating candles at 10% and starting at 7%), a discolouration statement naming the responsible notes (8 of the 14 carry one), and a bottle small enough to test cheaply — which only Santal Noir at ₹166 and Tangerine at ₹199 offer in 15 g. Four things cannot be checked anywhere in this tier: a measured flash point, a throw figure, a shelf life and a certificate number. Not one of the 14 publishes a measured flash point, and not one carries a published customer review. Above 1 kg there is no listed pack, so multi-kilo volumes go to a WhatsApp quote — never to a number invented on a blog.
One line: the premium tier costs ₹108.96 to ₹288.67 of oil in a gift candle, publishes less than the cheap tier does, and therefore deserves a longer test rather than more trust.
Sampling the tier first? Santal Noir 15 g ₹166 and Tangerine 15 g ₹199 are the only 15 g bottles in the ₹9,000-plus band, and Lavender Oud 100 g ₹1,200 is the cheapest entry to a listing that publishes a usage-rate table — ₹1,565 for a three-bottle premium bench.

What premium can honestly mean

Every fragrance page in India says premium. The question worth four minutes is which line on the page you could still quote back six months later.

No body issues a premium grade for fragrance oil — no test, no register, no threshold — so the word is doing marketing work on every page it appears on, at ₹2,832 a kilo as much as at ₹24,056. That is a reason to replace it with something checkable before you commit a gifting line. Here are the three markers that survive scrutiny in this catalogue and the four claims that exist nowhere in it.

Three checkable markers, four claims nobody can make · CSI pages, September 2026
What to verify on the page, and what to stop asking any supplier for
Marker or claim Can it be checked? What the CSI pages show
A published maximum-usage-rate table Yes — it is printed on the page The perfume-grade listings carry one: candles at 10%, perfume 25%, reed diffusers 25%, with "start at 7% and adjust based on wax blend and wick size"
A discolouration statement naming the notes responsible Yes 8 of the 14 premium kilos carry an "Important - Discoloration" block; the other 6 say nothing about it either way
A bottle small enough to test without a purchase decision Yes — it is a price Only 2 of the 14 sell a 15 g bottle (₹166, ₹199). On the other 12 the cheapest live bottle is ₹454 to ₹1,499
A measured flash point No, not in this tier Zero of the 14. Several carry "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which is a threshold for alcohol-based products and not a measurement
A throw figure — room size, hours, distance No No page in the range publishes one. Throw is described in words only, and words are not a specification
A shelf life or storage specification No Not one of the 107 fragrance pages states a shelf life, expiry or storage instruction. Anyone quoting you one has made it up
A certificate or amendment number No Pages reference compliance in general terms but publish no certificate, amendment or category number. Documentation for a named oil is requested on WhatsApp

One further honest point shapes how this guide is written. Nine of the fourteen dearest kilos are "inspired-by" listings whose pages lean on third-party designer and retail fragrance names. This page does not repeat those names — not because the oils are poor, but because a candle brand that builds its premium positioning on someone else's trademark is renting its identity. Describe the scent by its notes instead: notes are yours, a brand name is not.

The mistake: treating an expensive page as a well-documented page. It is a natural assumption and this catalogue contradicts it flatly. British Rose at ₹3,068 a kilo publishes a measured flash point of 192°C, a stated soy load, a vanillin content of 0% and all five pack sizes. Tangerine at ₹11,999 publishes a three-tier note pyramid and, beyond the sizes, effectively nothing else. Neither page is dishonest. But if your gifting line needs a documented oil — because a corporate buyer asks, or because you need an SDS on file — pick on what is published and request the rest for that named oil on WhatsApp.

The 14 premium kilos, costed per gift candle

Here is the whole band. The column that matters is the gift candle, because that is what this tier is bought for: a 120 g jar at a 10% load, holding 12 g of oil. The nine listings that name a third-party fragrance are shown by price and entry ticket without their names, for the reason set out above — their pages are one click away in the fine perfume fragrances collection if you want them.

An inspired-by woody amber — the dearest live kilo ₹24,056 50 g ₹1,203 ₹288.67 ₹134.71 Yes
Worked out above: oil per candle = kilo price ÷ 1,000 × grams of oil. A 120 g candle at a 10% load holds 12 g, so ₹9,120 ÷ 1,000 × 12 = ₹109.44 and ₹24,056 ÷ 1,000 × 12 = ₹288.67. A 70 g votive at 8% holds 5.6 g, so ₹9,120 × 0.0056 = ₹51.07. Every kilo and bottle price is the live listed figure in September 2026.

Two patterns matter. First, the tier is far more affordable per candle than its kilo prices suggest: in a votive, every one of these fourteen oils costs between ₹50.85 and ₹134.71. Second, the entry ticket does not track the kilo price — the ₹24,056 kilo sells 50 g for ₹1,203, while the ₹14,560 kilo starts at 100 g for ₹1,499. If you plan to shortlist three or four scents, that decides your sampling budget more than the kilo prices do.

Where the evidence goes as the price goes up

The diagram at the top of this page is worth restating as a table, because it is the fact that should change how you buy at this end of the range. Every count below is taken across the 87 fragrance oils with a buyable kilo.

Published fields by price band · 87 buyable kilos · September 2026
What each band publishes, and what a business loses when a field is missing
Band Kilos Measured flash point All five pack sizes live Any published review
Under ₹4,000 16 5 (31%) 13 (81%) 6
₹4,000–₹7,999 46 12 (26%) 32 (70%) 11
₹8,000–₹11,999 18 0 4 (22%) 1
₹12,000 and above 7 0 0 0
The premium tier (₹9,000+) 14 0 2 0

Each missing field costs something specific. No measured flash point means you cannot set an add temperature from the page, so you work at the bottom of the wax's stated window and ask for the SDS if the number matters. No full ladder means the cheapest possible test is a 50 g or 100 g bottle, so shortlisting four scents costs four figures instead of hundreds. No published review means you are the first data point — which is exactly when a maker should be pouring three test jars rather than three hundred candles.

Ask for documentation by name, not by category
"Do you have IFRA documents?" produces a slower and vaguer answer than "please send whatever documentation exists for Amber Oud Royal, 1 kg, for candle use". Bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation are all handled on WhatsApp against a named product. Nothing is published as a downloadable certificate on any page, so a specific request is the only route — and it is worth making before a corporate hamper buyer asks you for it, not after.

Four premium oils and what each commits to

Four listings from the tier that stand on their own descriptions rather than on a borrowed brand name. Each card shows the whole listed ladder and how many 120 g gift candles at 10% each pack fills. Note the rung traps: on two of these four, the 500 g bottle costs more per kilogram than the kilo does.

Tier entry · the only ₹166 way in
Santal Noir Fragrance Oil
The cheapest kilo in the band at ₹9,120 and one of only two premium listings that runs the complete 15 g to 1 kg ladder. Its page gives a clean sandalwood structure — soft spice and a subtle green accord over creamy sandalwood and light cedar, on warm amber, musk and dry woods — and that is genuinely all it gives: no stated load, no flash point, no discolouration line. So treat the ₹166 fifteen-gram bottle as what it is, the cheapest premium sample in the catalogue, pour a test jar at 8%, and let a cured burn decide. At 10% in a 120 g gift candle it is ₹109.44 of oil. On this listing the kilo is the cheapest kilogram: two 500 g bottles come to ₹9,198.

Publishes a full usage-rate table
Amber Oud Royal Fragrance Oil
Saffron, bergamot and cinnamon over oud, rose and patchouli, on amber, sandalwood, tonka and musk, at ₹11,640 a kilo. What earns it a place is the technical block: a maximum recommended usage-rate table giving candles at 10%, extrait at 25%, eau de parfum at 20% and reed diffusers at 25%, with the explicit instruction to "start at 7% and adjust based on wax blend and wick size", plus solubility, phthalate-free and skin-safety-tested rows. That is a page you can plan a recipe from. It does not state a measured flash point — the line it carries is the "> 93°C" alcohol-based threshold, which is not a measurement — and it states nothing about discolouration, which on an oud-and-amber profile is a gap worth closing with your own two-week colour check on white wax. Rung trap: the 500 g bottle works out at ₹11,998 a kilogram against the kilo's ₹11,640.

Bright citrus · full ladder, ₹199 entry
Tangerine Fragrance Oil
Tangerine peel, mandarin and bergamot over neroli and light jasmine, on white musk, soft amber and light woods — a premium citrus at ₹11,999 a kilo and the second of the two premium listings with a live 15 g bottle, at ₹199. Its page publishes the note pyramid and the sizes, and nothing further. A bright citrus is the hardest profile to hold through a cure, so this is the listing in the tier that most deserves a day-7 and day-14 comparison before you buy a kilo; the method is in why citrus fragrances fade in candles. In a 70 g votive at 8% it is ₹67.19 of oil, which makes a premium citrus votive set a far easier costing than a premium citrus three-wick.

Aromatic woody · the hamper scent
Lavender Oud Fragrance Oil
Lavender, bergamot and clary sage over oud, orris, geranium and cedarwood, on sandalwood, amber, tonka and musk, at ₹12,000 a kilo. Like Amber Oud Royal it carries the full perfume-grade technical block — candles at 10%, extrait 25%, eau de parfum 20%, reed diffusers 25%, oil-soluble, phthalate-free, skin-safety tested — so it is one of the few premium listings you can cost and formulate straight off the page. The calming-but-luxurious profile is the one that tends to work hardest across a Bhubaneswar gifting year, because it reads as appropriate for a corporate hamper, a wedding favour and a house-warming gift alike. The 100 g bottle at ₹1,200 is the entry, and the rung trap here is the sharpest in the tier: the 500 g bottle at ₹6,200 is ₹12,400 a kilogram, ₹400 more than buying the kilo.

A premium gift candle, line by line

A premium oil only becomes a premium candle after four other lines are paid for. Here is the complete material bill for one 120 g gift candle at a 10% load — 108 g of wax, 12 g of oil, one vessel, one wick, one sticker — with each of the four picks in turn. The vessel is the Amber Shiny Glass Jar with Black Lid, whose page states a 120 gm capacity; amber glass also happens to be the sensible choice against any discolouration you have not yet ruled out.

Two things become obvious. The oil is roughly half the material cost of a premium gift candle and no more — packaging, labelling, a box, a ribbon and your rejects sit outside this table and will comfortably exceed it if you let them. And across these four, inside one 120 g candle, the spread is ₹34.56. Choosing between premium oils is a choice about scent and about what the page publishes, not one that reshapes your costing.

The CSI principle
In this catalogue the dearest oils publish the least. That is an argument for testing them harder, not for distrusting them.
A ₹3,068 kilo will hand you a measured flash point, a stated soy load, a vanillin figure and five pack sizes. A ₹11,999 kilo will hand you a beautiful note pyramid. Both can make an excellent candle. Only one of them lets you start from published numbers, and the other therefore owes you a longer cure and a more careful burn.

Where a premium candle sells in a Bhubaneswar year

Premium candles are rarely impulse retail. They are gifts — corporate hampers, wedding favours, house-warming presents, the return gifts that go with a family function — and a gifted candle is chosen by one person, boxed for weeks, and looked at long before it is lit. Bhubaneswar concentrates that demand into a short, dense run: Durga Puja comes first, in the weeks before Diwali; Diwali falls on 8 November 2026; the Kartik observances follow about a fortnight later; and the wedding weeks carry on into the cooler months. Four occasions, one after another, each wanting something slightly different.

Four premium gifting occasions in a Bhubaneswar year
What the buyer is actually buying, and which published field should decide your shortlist
Occasion What the buyer wants The field that decides it A profile that fits
Durga Puja gifting, in the weeks before Diwali Something traditional and restrained rather than novel; often given in pairs or small sets The note structure — sandalwood, amber and resin read as appropriate; sugar and fruit do not A composed sandalwood, or an aromatic woody with lavender and cedar
Corporate Diwali hampers, ordered weeks ahead of 8 November Uniform, presentable, inoffensive, in tens or hundreds, with documentation sometimes requested The discolouration statement, because the candle sits boxed for weeks in humid air before it is opened A woody or floral with no vanillin risk you have not tested, in amber rather than clear glass
The Kartik weeks, about a fortnight after Diwali Quiet, devotional, small-format; votives and tealights more than large jars The per-candle oil cost, because a votive holds 5.6 g and the whole premium tier fits in it Anything in the tier at ₹50.85 to ₹134.71 of oil per 70 g votive
Wedding favours, through the cooler weeks Volume at a controlled cost with one scent repeated exactly, many times The pack ladder, because you need the same oil again in the same size A listing with a live 15 g for proving and a kilo for producing — only 2 of the 14 offer both

The discolouration line is the one that costs real money in this calendar, and coastal humidity sharpens it. A hamper candle poured in mid-October has to survive a cure, a box and a warm humid room before anyone lifts the lid — and 8 of the 14 premium pages state plainly that their notes will change the colour of pale wax over time. That is not a fault. It is a decision about glass you should make before you buy two hundred white jars, and the reasoning is in which candle fragrances are least likely to discolour white wax.

The mistake: judging a premium candle in the wrong weather. Soy is a soft wax, and a premium candle is often poured near the top of its stated band, which makes it softer still. Through a long hot-humid stretch a finished soy candle will be noticeably soft to the touch and a high-load surface can bead — neither means the expensive oil failed. Hold the load at the lower end of the band for anything gifted in the warmest months, use a heavier vessel, let every candle cool fully before boxing, and keep boxed stock closed and off the floor. If a customer reports beading, read why your candle is sweating fragrance oil before you change oil.
Hamper order confirmed? 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, so a premium run above a kilo is multiples of the listed kilo — and bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation for a named oil are handled on WhatsApp.

Buying the tier without buying a kilo first

At ₹12,000 a kilo the expensive mistake is not the kilo. It is the kilo you bought before the cure finished.

The premium tier punishes a guess more than the rest of the catalogue, because a wrong kilo here ties up two to four times as much cash. The sequence below spends ₹1,565 to protect a ₹12,000 decision, and every figure in it is a listed price.

1
Buy the smallest live bottle of three candidates, not oneSantal Noir 15 g ₹166 and Tangerine 15 g ₹199 are the only 15 g bottles in the tier; add Lavender Oud 100 g at ₹1,200 for a listing that publishes a usage table and the bench comes to ₹1,565. Three scents is the minimum that tells you anything, because a premium shortlist is a comparison, not an audition.
2
Pour into the vessel you will actually sell, at 8%Not a test tin, not a bigger jar. A 120 g amber jar at 8% is 110.4 g of wax and 9.6 g of oil. Start at 8% even where a page permits 10%, so the first result sits inside every stated band and you still have a documented route upward.

Add below the wax's stated window, because you have no measured flash pointNone of the 14 publishes one. The Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page states adding at 80–90°C and pouring at 70–80°C; work at the low end, stir for two minutes, and record the actual thermometer reading rather than the target.

Cure a full 14 to 21 days, then judge the colour as well as the scentLids on, closed carton, off the floor. At day 14 check the throw at 30 and 120 minutes — and hold the candle against a white sheet of paper. On the six premium pages that say nothing about discolouration, your own two-week check is the only evidence that exists.

Buy the kilo, then ask for the quote and the documents togetherOnce one scent has passed, order its kilo at the listed price and send the same message for anything above that: the oil name, the quantity, the repeat interval, and a request for GST invoicing and an SDS. 1 kg is the largest listed pack, so anything larger is a conversation — and no published figure exists for it.
A premium oil is one whose page describes more and claims less. At this end of the range you are buying a better starting point for your own test, not a shortcut past it.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and is not a manufacturer of wax or fragrance oil. A supplier keen to move its dearest stock would not print a diagram showing that its cheapest oils are the best documented. We print it because a maker who tests a ₹12,000 kilo properly and sells the candle keeps buying, and a maker who commits a hamper order to an untested premium oil has an expensive problem and a customer who noticed.

Every price, count and specification here is live CSI stock in September 2026, counted across all 107 fragrance-oil listings and the 87 with a buyable kilo. Usage tables, discolouration wording and note structures are quoted only where the page states them. No flash point is published for any oil in this tier: the "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" line that several carry is a threshold for alcohol-based products, not a measurement, and it is never treated as one here. No page in the range states a shelf life, a storage instruction, a throw figure or a certificate number, so none is claimed. Pages that reference third-party designer or retail fragrances are described by price and profile rather than by brand name.

There is no CSI shop or warehouse in Bhubaneswar and no delivery time, courier or rate is published anywhere, so none appears here. CSI ships across India, and bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation for a named oil are handled on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a candle fragrance oil premium?
Nothing official — there is no grade, certificate or threshold. In practice it is a price band: at CSI, 14 of the 87 buyable kilos are ₹9,000 or above, from ₹9,080 to ₹24,056. What can honestly be checked on a page is a published maximum-usage-rate table, a discolouration statement naming the notes responsible and a small enough bottle to test cheaply. What cannot be checked anywhere is a measured flash point, a throw figure, a shelf life or a certificate number.
How much does a premium fragrance oil add to each candle?
In a 120 g gift candle at a 10% load — 12 g of oil — the tier costs ₹108.96 to ₹288.67. In a 70 g votive at 8% it is ₹50.85 to ₹134.71, and in a 200 g jar at 8%, ₹145.28 to ₹384.90. Built into a complete 120 g candle with wax, an amber jar, a wick and a sticker, the materials come to ₹229.73 on Santal Noir and ₹264.29 on Lavender Oud — with the oil at roughly half the total.
Do premium fragrance oils publish a flash point?
In this tier, no. None of the 14 kilos at ₹9,000 and above states a measured flash point. Several carry the line "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)", which is a threshold describing suitability for alcohol-based products rather than a measured value — never convert it into a number. Only 18 of the 107 fragrance pages state a measured figure at all, and every one of those sits below ₹8,000 a kilo. If the number matters, request the SDS for that named oil on WhatsApp.
What is the cheapest way to try a premium fragrance oil?
Two of the fourteen sell a 15 g bottle: Santal Noir at ₹166 and Tangerine at ₹199. On the other twelve the smallest live bottle is 50 g or 100 g, from ₹454 to ₹1,499. A three-bottle premium bench of Santal Noir 15 g, Tangerine 15 g and Lavender Oud 100 g is ₹1,565. CSI publishes no sample pack and no minimum order quantity, so the smallest listed size is the sample.
Will a premium oil discolour a white gift candle?
Eight of the fourteen premium pages carry an "Important - Discoloration" block naming the notes responsible — usually vanilla, tonka, patchouli or amber — and warning of browning or golden toning in pale wax over time. The other six say nothing either way, which is not a clean bill of health; it means the only evidence will be your own. Pour a test jar, cure it 14 days and hold it against white paper. For hampers, amber or coloured glass removes the question entirely.
Can I get a bulk price for premium oils for a Bhubaneswar hamper order?
Multi-kilo quantities are quoted on WhatsApp against a named oil, a quantity and a repeat interval, along with GST invoicing and documentation requests. 1 kg is the largest listed fragrance pack, so the listed ceiling for five kilos of a ₹12,000 oil is ₹60,000 — useful for getting an order approved internally, but it is a ceiling and not a quote. No quoted figure is published anywhere, and no honest page will tell you in advance what it will be.

Figures verified September 2026: of 107 fragrance-oil listings, 87 have a buyable 1 kg and 14 of those are priced at ₹9,000 or above, from ₹9,080 to ₹24,056 (median ₹11,999.50). Within those 14: 0 state a measured flash point, 2 run all five pack sizes from 15 g to 1 kg, 8 carry an "Important - Discoloration" block and 0 carry a published customer review. Cheapest live bottle across the 14 runs ₹166 to ₹1,499; two listings sell 15 g (Santal Noir ₹166, Tangerine ₹199), seven have 50 g as their smallest live size and five have 100 g. Band audit across the 87 buyable kilos: under ₹4,000 — 16 kilos, 5 with a measured flash point (31%), 13 with all five sizes live (81%), 6 with a published review; ₹4,000–₹7,999 — 46 kilos, 12 (26%), 32 (70%), 11; ₹8,000–₹11,999 — 18 kilos, 0, 4 (22%), 1; ₹12,000 and above — 7 kilos, 0, 0, 0. Listed prices used: Santal Noir 15 g ₹166 / 50 g ₹499 / 100 g ₹919 / 500 g ₹4,599 / 1 kg ₹9,120 · Amber Oud Royal 100 g ₹1,299 / 500 g ₹5,999 / 1 kg ₹11,640 · Tangerine 15 g ₹199 / 50 g ₹599 / 100 g ₹1,199 / 500 g ₹5,999 / 1 kg ₹11,999 · Lavender Oud 100 g ₹1,200 / 500 g ₹6,200 / 1 kg ₹12,000 · English Pear & Freesia 1 kg ₹14,560 · Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg ₹599 · Amber Shiny Glass Jar with Black Lid (stated 120 gm capacity) pack of 5 ₹236, so ₹47.20 each · Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 10 for ₹59, so ₹5.90 each · Candle Wick Stickers sheet of 40 ₹100, so ₹2.50 each · British Rose 1 kg ₹3,068 with a stated 192°C flash point and 0% vanillin. Assumptions stated: fragrance load is a percentage of the finished candle, so a 120 g candle at 10% = 108 g wax + 12 g oil, at 8% = 110.4 g + 9.6 g; a 70 g votive at 8% = 64.4 g + 5.6 g; a 200 g jar at 8% = 184 g + 16 g. Oil per candle = kilo price ÷ 1,000 × grams of oil; 108 g of wax at ₹599/kg = ₹64.69. Three-bottle bench = ₹166 + ₹199 + ₹1,200 = ₹1,565. Rung comparisons: Santal Noir 2 × 500 g = ₹9,198 against a ₹9,120 kilo; Amber Oud Royal 2 × 500 g = ₹11,998 against ₹11,640; Lavender Oud 2 × 500 g = ₹12,400 against ₹12,000. Listed ceiling for 5 kg of a ₹12,000 oil = ₹60,000, which is a ceiling and not a quote. Usage-rate figures quoted from the Amber Oud Royal and Lavender Oud pages: candles 10%, extrait 25%, eau de parfum / eau de toilette 20%, reed diffusers 25%, "start at 7% and adjust based on wax blend and wick size". Luxury Soy Wax Chunks stated 8–13% (10% recommended), add 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C. Cure of 14–21 days for soy containers is the standard practice this series follows. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Seasonal and humidity behaviour described here is general material behaviour, not a published specification, and no local climate figure is asserted. Diwali 2026 is 8 November.
