One thousand 135 g scented tins, listed line by line with the largest pack each line has — and an honest mark against the two lines where the listed packs stop being enough.
142 kg
of wax for 1,000 candles at a 135 g fill, alongside 12 kg of fragrance oil, 1,040 wicks and 1,044 tins · ₹224.45 a candle in CSI materials · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What raw materials does a 1,000-candle run need? At a 135 g fill: 142 kg of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, 12 kg of fragrance oil across three scents, 1,040 Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1), 1,040 wick stickers, 1,044 135 gram tins and 1,500 care labels. That is ₹2,24,452.24 of CSI materials, ₹224.45 a candle.

Can CSI's listed packs cover 1,000 candles? On most lines comfortably, on two lines only just. The 10 kg CSI 464 pack is listed several times over what 142 kg needs. The 135 gram tin in packs of twelve covers about 1,128 units at listed stock against the 1,044 this run buys — enough for this run and not for two. Some other soy grades list far less than 142 kg in their largest pack, which is a bulk quote on WhatsApp, not a checkout.

What is the largest pack CSI lists? On the grades costed here, wax goes to 10 kg, wicks to 1,000, fragrance oil to 1 kg, tins to packs of twelve, glass to packs of 50 or 100 depending on the vessel, wick stickers to a sheet of 40 and care labels to a roll of 1,000. One soy grade on the store lists a larger wax pack, so check the grade you want. For a consignment beyond the listed packs, ask on WhatsApp.

How many wicks and vessels should I order for 1,000 candles? 1,040 of each, on a 4% allowance for breakage, mis-set wicks and test candles. In wicks that is a 1000-pack plus two 20-packs, ₹6,136.00. In 135 gram tins it is 87 packs of twelve, ₹1,01,017.44, which gives 1,044 vessels. Tins are worth considering at this volume precisely because they do not break in transit the way 1,040 glass jars can.
The short answer
Six lines, one page: 142 kg of wax, 12 kg of oil, 1,040 wicks, 1,040 wick stickers, 1,044 tins and 1,500 care labels — ₹2,24,452.24 of CSI materials at ₹224.45 a candle.
One ladder, one ceiling: every line has a largest listed pack, and on most lines the per-unit rate stops improving well before you reach it. Knowing where the ladder ends is what stops you waiting for a discount that is not coming.
Two lines to ask about: at four figures, the vessel and the wax grade are the lines where listed depth actually binds. Send the list on WhatsApp before you promise a delivery date, not after.
What listed pack depth covers against a 1,000-candle run Does the listed pack cover 1,000 candles Listed stock behind each pack, divided by what this run needs 1× = exactly this run CSI 464 · 10 kg pack 6.8× Soy Chunks · 10 kg pack 0.6× British Rose · 1 kg 4.3× 135 g tin · pack of 12 1.1× Eco C1 wick · 1000 pack 9.6× Wick sticker · sheet of 40 3.3× Left of the dashed line, the listed packs cannot cover this run on their own
Each bar is the stock listed behind a pack divided by what a 1,000-candle run needs from that line — so anything left of the dashed line cannot be covered by the listed packs alone. The wick, sticker and CSI 464 lines have room to spare. The 135 gram tin clears the line by a margin you would not want to plan two runs around. Bars are capped at 4× for legibility, and listed depth moves as orders are placed.
Straight answer
What does a 1,000-candle run actually need, and can the store cover it?
The candle costed here is a 135 g fill in a 135 gram tin, scented at 8% of wax weight, single wick. A thousand of them hold 135 kg of wax; with a 5% wastage allowance you melt 141.75 kg and buy 142 kg — fourteen 10 kg packs of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 plus two 1 kg packs, ₹72,050.80. Fragrance at 8% of the melted wax is 11.34 kg, and split across three scents it is 3.78 kg each, so you buy four kilograms of each: British Rose ₹12,272.00, Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹12,272.00 and Fallen Leaves ₹16,992.00, ₹41,536.00 in all. Counted lines carry 4%: 1,040 Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) as a 1000-pack plus two 20-packs (₹6,136.00), 1,040 wick stickers as 26 sheets (₹2,600.00), 1,044 135 gram tins as 87 packs of twelve (₹1,01,017.44) and 1,500 care labels as a 1,000 roll plus a 500 roll (₹1,112.00). The CSI half of the sheet is ₹2,24,452.24, which is ₹224.45 a candle. On coverage, the answer is mostly yes: the 10 kg CSI 464 pack, the 1000-wick pack, the sticker sheets and the care rolls are all listed several times deeper than this run needs. The two lines to check before you promise anybody a date are the vessel, where 87 packs of twelve is a real bite out of what is listed, and the wax grade, because not every soy grade on the store lists 142 kg in packs of ten kilograms. Where a line cannot be covered from listed packs, that is a bulk quote on WhatsApp — and everything CSI does not sell at all, from cartons and printed labels to inbound freight and your own labour, stays as a blank row at the bottom of this page.
One line: 1,000 candles at 135 g: 142 kg of wax, 12 kg of oil, 1,040 wicks and 1,044 tins — ₹2,24,452.24 of CSI materials, with two lines worth checking for depth before you commit.
Sizing a four-figure run? The lines that carry it are Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilogram in 10 kg packs, Tin Containers 135 gram at ₹96.76 each in packs of twelve and Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) at ₹5.90 each in the 1000-pack.

Six lines. Two of them are worth a phone call before you commit to a date.

The candle costed here is a 135 g fill in a 135 gram tin, scented at 8% of wax weight, one wick, one care label. Tins rather than glass, because at a thousand units the breakage arithmetic on glass gets expensive and the shipping gets fussy — but the method below works for any vessel, and there is a table of the alternatives further down. The wax is Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, whose page gives 80–90°C as the working range for melting and pouring and states a fragrance load of up to 10% of total wax weight.

Priced above: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40 and 10 kg ₹5,074.00 · British Rose Fragrance Oil 1 kg ₹3,068.00 · Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Oil 1 kg ₹3,068.00 · Fallen Leaves 1 kg ₹4,248.00 · Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 20 for ₹118.00 and 1000 for ₹5,900.00 · Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100.00 · Tin Containers 135 gram 12 for ₹1,161.12 · Candle Care Stickers Roll 500 for ₹413.00 and 1000 for ₹699.00.

Per candle that is ₹224.45 of CSI materials — ₹96.76 of tin, ₹68.50 of wax, ₹33.13 to ₹45.88 of fragrance depending on the scent, ₹5.90 of wick, ₹2.50 of wick sticker and ₹0.70 of care label. The vessel is the largest single line, as it almost always is, and the wax is second. Fragrance is third and moves the most: swap the Fallen Leaves batch for Dark Vanilla and that one line rises by ₹13,592.00 across the run for the same number of grams.

Treating a 1,000-candle list as a bigger 500-candle list. The quantities scale; the availability does not. At 500 candles almost any variant on the store will cover your line. At 1,000 you are buying 87 packs of one vessel and fourteen packs of one wax, and whether those exist in that quantity today is a question with an actual answer. Check it before you quote a corporate buyer a delivery week, because the fortnight of cure inside the run leaves you no slack to absorb a wait.

The pack ladder: how far each line climbs

Every line has a top step. On most of them the rate stopped improving several steps earlier.

A pack ladder is simply the list of variants on a product page, smallest to largest, with the per-unit rate beside each one. Two things are worth knowing about each line before you build a four-figure order: where the ladder ends, and where on the ladder the rate stops falling. They are rarely the same step, and most of the money people think they are saving at volume was already saved three steps down.

The ladder
Largest listed pack on each line, and the step at which the rate stops improving
Line Ladder Largest listed pack Rate at the top Where the rate stops improving
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 500 g → 1 kg → 5 kg → 10 kg 10 kg ₹507.40 /kg At 1 kg. The 1, 5 and 10 kg packs are all ₹507.40 a kilogram
British Rose Fragrance Oil 15 gm → 50 gm → 100 gm → 500 gm → 1 kg 1 kg ₹3.07 /g Keeps improving to the top; the 1 kg pack is the best rate
Eucalyptus Spearmint 15 gm → 50 gm → 100 gm → 500 gm → 1 kg 1 kg ₹3.07 /g Keeps improving to the top
Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 10 → 20 → 50 → 100 → 500 → 1000 1,000 wicks ₹5.90 each Never. The rate is identical at all six steps
Tin Containers 135 gram Pack of 12 Pack of 12 ₹96.76 each One step only; buy the number of packs you need
Candle Wick Stickers Sheet of 40 Sheet of 40 ₹2.50 each One step in stock; 26 sheets covers this run
Candle Care Stickers Roll of 500 → roll of 1000 Roll of 1,000 ₹0.70 each At the top; ₹0.70 against ₹0.83
Priced above: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 500 g ₹260.00, 1 kg ₹507.40, 5 kg ₹2,537.00, 10 kg ₹5,074.00 · British Rose Fragrance Oil 500 gm ₹1,593.00 and 1 kg ₹3,068.00 · Eucalyptus Spearmint 1 kg ₹3,068.00 · Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 10 for ₹59.00 and 1000 for ₹5,900.00 · Tin Containers 135 gram 12 for ₹1,161.12 · Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100.00 · Candle Care Stickers Roll 500 for ₹413.00 and 1000 for ₹699.00.

Read the wick row and the wax row together, because between them they explain most of what a thousand-candle order feels like. On the wicks, a 1000-pack costs exactly a thousand times the single-wick rate: ₹5.90 each whether you buy ten or a thousand. On the wax, the 10 kg pack and the 1 kg pack are the same ₹507.40 a kilogram, so the only thing a 10 kg pack buys you is fourteen clicks instead of a hundred and forty-two. Neither of those is a complaint. It simply means that the volume economics of a four-figure run are not hiding in the CSI half of the sheet — they are in the half CSI does not sell, where a thousand printed labels and one bulk dispatch genuinely do cost less per unit than a hundred of each.

The fragrance line is the exception that proves the rule. British Rose falls from ₹3.19 a gram in the 500 gm bottle to ₹3.07 in the 1 kg, so on a line where you are buying four kilograms of each of three scents, always climb to the top step. Twelve 1 kg bottles beat twenty-four 500 gm bottles on this line, which is the single clearest volume saving available anywhere on the list.

What the largest listed packs actually cover

A pack you can only buy nine of when you need eighty-seven is a pack you cannot build a run on.

Depth is the part of procurement nobody writes about and everybody eventually hits. The question on every line of a four-figure list is not what does the pack cost, it is how many of that pack are listed, and does that number reach the quantity this run needs. Here is the honest read on each line at the time of writing.

Depth against this run
What the run needs on each line, and how far the listed packs stretch
Line This run needs Pack used Roughly what listed stock covers Verdict
Wax · CSI 464 142 kg 10 kg Several hundred kilograms Comfortable — build the run on it
Wax · Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 142 kg 10 kg Well under 142 kg in the 10 kg pack alone Ask on WhatsApp before you choose this grade
Wax · Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 142 kg 10 kg Well under 142 kg in the 10 kg pack alone Ask on WhatsApp before you choose this grade
Wax · Eco Soy CSI 400 142 kg 5 kg (largest listed) Around the size of this run, no more Workable, but leaves no headroom
Oil · British Rose 1 kg 4 kg 1 kg Several times four kilograms Comfortable
Vessel · 135 gram tin 1,044 Pack of 12 A little over 1,100 tins Covers this run; not two of them
Wicks · Eco C1 1000-pack 1,040 1,000 wicks Many times this run Comfortable
Stickers · sheets of 40 26 sheets Sheet of 40 Several times this run Comfortable
Care labels · 1,000 roll 1,040 Roll of 1,000 Many times this run Comfortable

Two readings follow. The first is that the wax grade is a procurement decision as well as a formulation one. If your candle is built on CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilogram, the listed packs will carry a thousand candles without a conversation. If it is built on a grade whose largest listed pack is 10 kg and whose listed depth sits below 142 kg — Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹599.90 a kilogram and Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 at ₹637.00 are both in that position today — then the wax for your run is something to agree on WhatsApp first. That is not a reason to abandon the grade. It is a reason to ask early rather than at checkout.

The second is the vessel. Eighty-seven packs of twelve is a large share of what is listed behind the 135 gram tin, which means the run can be covered but a second identical run in the same fortnight probably cannot. If you are a contract maker with a repeat order, or you are planning 1,000 in October and 1,000 in November, the vessel is the line to lock in first. Glass behaves differently: the 200 ml Salsa jar at ₹29.50 each in packs of fifty and the 150 gram clear glass jar with golden lid at ₹94.40 each are both listed far more deeply than a thousand units, so on those the constraint is your breakage allowance rather than the store's depth.

READ DEPTH AS A DATE, NOT A NUMBER
The useful question is never "is there enough" — it is "is there enough this week, for the pour dates I am about to promise". Listed depth moves as other makers order, and October is the month every candle brand in India is buying the same wax and the same jars. Send the list on WhatsApp, get the lines confirmed, then set your pour calendar. The order of those three steps is the whole difference between a run that lands and a run that slips.
Designing the product around a vessel you have not checked. A thousand candles is enough volume that a vessel decision is effectively permanent — your photography, your labels, your box size and your price are all built on it. Choosing a beautiful jar that lists in packs of five, or a colourway that is listed thinly, means either a redesign halfway through or a run that finishes at 700 units. Pick the vessel, confirm the depth, then shoot the photographs. The 135 gram tin at ₹96.76 and the 200 ml Salsa jar at ₹29.50 are both sensible four-figure vessels for exactly this reason.

Where the list stops being a checkout and becomes a conversation

Everything CSI publishes is on the product pages. Everything beyond them is a message.

There are three situations in a four-figure run where the store cannot answer you and a person can: when a line needs more than the listed packs carry, when you want a consignment larger than the biggest pack on the ladder, and when you need documentation for a corporate or export buyer. None of those has a published number, and this page is not going to invent one. What it can do is tell you exactly what to send so the answer comes back in one round trip rather than five.

1
Send the finished list, not the question. "Do you do bulk" produces a slow conversation. A list produces a quote. Send the six lines with quantities: 142 kg of CSI 464, 4 kg each of three named oils, 1,040 Eco C1 Thin wicks, 1,040 wick stickers, 1,044 of the 135 gram tin and 1,500 care labels. Add the pour window you are working to, because availability and dates are the same question at this volume.
2
Ask about depth and documentation in the same message. Two things are worth asking every time at four figures: whether the quantities on your list can be filled as listed, and whether you need GST invoicing, MSDS or IFRA documentation for the buyer you are supplying. All three of those are available on request through WhatsApp on +91 7397976926, and it costs nothing to ask for them at quote stage rather than after the candles are poured.
3
Do not assume a volume discount exists. This page has been honest throughout about where the pack ladder stops improving: the wick rate is flat at every size, the CSI 464 rate is flat from 1 kg up. Bulk pricing beyond the listed packs is a conversation, and this page will not put a number on it, because no such number is published. Plan your costing on the listed rates — ₹224.45 a candle in materials on this build — and treat anything better as an improvement rather than an assumption.
4
Confirm before you commit the dates. The cure window in a thousand-candle run is 14–21 days and it is not compressible. Everything upstream of it is, which means a week lost waiting on a confirmation is a week taken out of pouring, not out of curing. Get the lines confirmed, then publish your pour calendar internally, then tell the customer a date.

One honest note on what not to ask this page for. Delivery times, freight rates, minimum orders and discount structures are not published by CSI and are not stated anywhere here. Several real customer reviews on the store mention delivery charges or delivery timelines as the thing they would most like improved, and at four figures those are genuinely material to your costing — which is exactly why they belong in a conversation with a number attached, and in your own blank rows on this sheet, rather than in an estimate on a blog page.

Planning a festive four-figure run? Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026. With 14–21 days of cure and eight to ten pour days before it, a thousand candles want their last pour by about mid-October and their 142 kg of wax on the bench well before that. Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 is ₹507.40 a kilogram in 10 kg packs.

At a thousand units, the vessel is the run

Change the wax and you move the sheet by a few thousand rupees. Change the vessel and you move it by a lakh.

On this build the vessel is ₹96.76 of a ₹224.45 candle — more than the wax and the fragrance put together. That ratio holds for almost every container candle, which is why the vessel line deserves more thought at a thousand units than everything else combined. Here are the sensible four-figure options from live stock, with what 1,040 of each costs.

Vessel options at 1,040 units
What the vessel line does to a 1,000-candle run
Vessel Pack Per unit 1,040 units cost Notes for a four-figure run
200ml Salsa Glass Jar 50 Pcs ₹29.50 ₹30,975.00 Cheapest per unit; lug cap included; gram fill not published, so weigh one
Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram Pack of 10 ₹31.86 ₹33,134.40 70 g fill, so the wax line halves; 104 packs is a lot of packs
Golden Aluminium Tin, 85 g fill Pack of 12 ₹30.00 — Light, unbreakable, 85 g fill; a gifting-scale format
Tin Containers 85 gram Pack of 12 ₹70.80 ₹73,915.20 Lidded tin, 85 g fill; no breakage in transit
Tin Containers 135 gram Pack of 12 ₹96.76 ₹1,01,017.44 The vessel costed on this page; 135 g fill
Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid Pack of 10 ₹94.40 ₹98,176.00 150 g fill, 8 cm tall, hot-pour safe to 85°C; premium gifting
Black Glass Jar with Black Lid Pack of 10 ₹107.00 ₹1,11,280.00 150 g fill; the dearest option here and the most finished-looking
Priced above: 200ml Salsa Glass Jar 50 Pcs ₹1,475.00 · Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram 10 for ₹318.60 · Pack of 12 Golden Aluminium Tin ₹360.00 · Tin Containers 85 gram 12 for ₹849.60 and 135 gram 12 for ₹1,161.12 · Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid 10 for ₹944.00 · Black Glass Jar with Black Lid 10 for ₹1,070.00.

The spread across that table is ₹67,201.00 between the cheapest and the dearest option for the same 1,040 vessels. That is a larger number than the entire fragrance line on this run, and it is decided before you buy a single gram of wax. It is also the decision that most changes what the candle can be sold for, which is why it should be made with a sample in your hand rather than from a table — order five of two or three candidates, pour them, photograph them, and then commit the run.

Three practical points about vessels at this volume. Tins do not break, which removes a whole category of risk from a consignment of a thousand and makes the 4% allowance feel generous. Glass photographs better and usually sells for more, but 1,040 glass vessels arriving by road in India will include some casualties, and your allowance is doing real work. And lids matter to the sheet: some vessels here include a cap or lid in the listed price and some do not, so compare like with like before you decide one is cheaper than another.

The CSI principle
At a thousand units, buy depth before you buy price.
A vessel ₹67,201.00 cheaper across the run is worth nothing if the packs behind it cannot fill the order twice. Confirm the line, then optimise it.

What a thousand candles need that CSI does not sell

The heaviest line on a four-figure run is usually the one nobody can invoice you for in advance.

CSI sells wax, fragrance, wicks, vessels, dyes, finishing items, tools and equipment. It does not sell cartons, mailers, bubble wrap, printed labels, ribbon, tissue, shrink wrap, pallets or courier services, and publishes no rates for inbound freight, outbound delivery, labour, electricity, rent or marketing. At a thousand units several of those are four-figure or five-figure decisions in their own right. Every one of them gets a blank row here, with the quantity attached so you can go and get a real number.

Your own cost rows at 1,000
The rows only you can fill, and what to ask for when you fill them
Row Quantity at 1,000 candles What to ask your supplier for Cost
Printed labels, front and base 1,000–2,100 labels Per-piece price at 1,000 and at 2,000 your figure
Cartons or gift boxes 1,000 Per-piece at 1,000, plus a die or sample charge your figure
Protective packing and filler 1,000 units Per-unit at your box size your figure
Master cartons for dispatch 40–90 depending on pack-out Per-carton price and dimensions your figure
Inbound freight on 142 kg plus 87 packs of tins 1–2 consignments Your charge at checkout your figure
Outbound delivery 1,000 parcels or one bulk drop Per-parcel and per-kg bulk rates your figure

Your own costs, total — — your figure
CSI materials 8 lines This page ₹2,24,452.24
True cost of the run — — ₹2,24,452.24 + your own costs

The row that surprises people at a thousand units is labour. Eight to ten pour days plus finishing, labelling and pack-out is a working fortnight of somebody's time, and if that somebody is you then the run has an opportunity cost even though no money changes hands. Price it anyway. A run that only works because you did not pay yourself is a run you cannot repeat and cannot hand to anyone else.

The row that most changes the answer is outbound delivery. One thousand candles going to a single corporate buyer, a wedding planner or a retailer is one consignment and a manageable number. One thousand candles going to a thousand individual customers is a thousand parcels, a thousand packing operations and a thousand chances of a broken jar. Two runs with identical CSI material costs can differ by a wide margin in true cost for that reason alone, which is precisely why this page refuses to fold delivery into a single headline figure.

We can tell you what a thousand candles are made of. Only you can tell us what a thousand candles cost to ship.

Storing 142 kg of wax and 1,044 tins in an Indian climate

A four-figure order arrives all at once. It does not get used all at once.

The physical reality of this list is fourteen ten-kilogram packs of flakes, twelve one-kilogram bottles of fragrance oil, eighty-seven boxes of tins and a couple of thousand small paper items, all landing in whatever space you have. That is the point at which a kitchen-table operation becomes a storage problem, and in India the storage problem has a season attached to it.

The CSI 464 page states a shelf life of 60 months in cool, dry storage, and asks that the wax be kept away from sunlight and moisture. That second instruction is the one that matters in a Mumbai or Kochi monsoon: flakes in a bag that has been opened and loosely reclosed in humid air will clump, and clumped wax melts unevenly. Reseal every opened pack, keep them off a concrete floor, and draw from one pack at a time rather than opening all fourteen. Fragrance oil wants the same treatment for a different reason — bottles kept sealed, upright, out of sunlight and away from heat.

Vessels need floor space more than they need conditions, but they need it for weeks. Eighty-seven boxes of tins is a meaningful stack, and the cured candles that come out of them need somewhere stable to rest for a fortnight or three. In a Delhi or Ahmedabad summer, "stable" means the coolest room you have rather than the most convenient one: soy container candles left in a room that swings from 25°C at night to 40°C in the afternoon will develop surface texture that is cosmetic but hard to explain to a customer expecting a perfect top. Plan the cure space before the pour dates, not after the first tray is poured.

Finally, a sanity check on the sheet itself. Does every line trace to a pack on a product page. Is the load applied to wax weight — 8% of 135 g is 10.8 g, and both the wax ceiling and the oil page range have to allow it, with the lower figure governing. Are the allowances written down as 5% and 4% rather than buried in a total. Have the two binding lines been confirmed rather than assumed. And does the sheet end in two totals — ₹2,24,452.24 of CSI materials, and your own rows underneath. If it ends in one number, something in it was invented, and at a thousand candles an invented number is an expensive habit.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and at four figures the honest answer to some questions is not a price. Cartons, printed labels, filler, ribbon, inbound freight, outbound courier, labour, electricity and storage are all real costs of a thousand-candle run and CSI sells none of them and publishes no rates for them, so they appear here as blank rows. Where a listed pack does not go deep enough to cover the run, this page says so rather than quietly recommending it, and points to a WhatsApp conversation instead of a checkout.

Every price is from live CSI stock in September 2026 and the linked product pages are authoritative. Per-kilogram, per-gram and per-unit rates are derived from the pack variants named beside each figure. Product-page specifications are quoted as such: the Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 page gives 80–90°C as the working range for melting and pouring, states a fragrance load of up to 10% of total wax weight and a shelf life of 60 months in cool, dry storage away from sunlight and moisture; the oil pages state their own candle ranges, and where a wax ceiling and an oil range differ the lower governs. The 5% wastage and 4% spares allowances are assumptions stated at the point of use. Stock depth described on this page is the depth listed in September 2026 and moves as orders are placed; no minimum order, delivery time, freight rate or discount is stated anywhere here because none is published.

Frequently asked questions

How much wax do I need for 1,000 candles?
At a 135 g fill, 1,000 candles hold 135 kg, and a 5% wastage allowance takes the purchase to 142 kg. In Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 that is fourteen 10 kg packs plus two 1 kg packs, ₹72,050.80. The 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg packs all work out to ₹507.40 a kilogram, so twenty-eight 5 kg packs plus two 1 kg packs costs the identical ₹72,050.80 — the choice is about handling and listed depth, not price.
How much fragrance oil is needed for 1,000 candles?
At 8% of wax weight on a 135 g fill, each candle carries 10.8 g, so 1,000 candles plus the wastage allowance need about 11.34 kg. This run buys 12 kg, four kilograms of each of three scents, ₹41,536.00. Fragrance is the one line where climbing to the biggest pack genuinely pays — British Rose falls from ₹3.19 a gram at 500 gm to ₹3.07 at 1 kg.
Does CSI sell wax in packs bigger than 10 kg?
Not on the grades costed here — 10 kg is the largest listed pack on them, and the fragrance ladder tops out at 1 kg. One soy grade on the store does list a larger pack, so check the specific grade you want rather than assuming 10 kg is the ceiling everywhere. For a consignment beyond the listed packs, bulk pricing and availability are a WhatsApp conversation on +91 7397976926 rather than a checkout, and no rate for it is published anywhere, including on this page.
Will CSI have enough stock for a 1,000-candle order?
On most lines, comfortably. The 10 kg CSI 464 pack, the 1000-wick Eco C1 pack, the wick sticker sheets and the care sticker rolls are all listed well beyond what this run needs. The lines to confirm are the vessel — 87 packs of the 135 gram tin is a large share of what is listed — and the wax grade, since some soy grades list considerably less than 142 kg in their largest pack. Listed depth changes as orders are placed, so ask before you fix your pour dates.
What does one candle cost in materials on a 1,000-candle run?
₹224.45 of CSI materials on this build: ₹96.76 of tin, ₹68.50 of wax, ₹33.13 to ₹45.88 of fragrance depending on the scent, ₹5.90 of wick, ₹2.50 of wick sticker and ₹0.70 of care label. Cartons, printed labels, filler, freight, labour and electricity are not in that figure because CSI does not sell them and publishes no rates for them.
Should I use tins or glass for a run of a thousand?
Tins remove breakage from a long road journey and from a thousand outbound parcels; glass photographs better and usually carries a higher price. On cost, 1,040 of the 135 gram tin is ₹1,01,017.44 and 1,040 of the 200 ml Salsa glass jar is ₹30,975.00, while 1,040 of the lidded 150 gram glass jar with golden lid is ₹98,176.00. Order five of your two favourites, pour them, and decide with the candles in front of you.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The method — building the list from fill weight and load, climbing each line's pack ladder to the step where the rate stops improving, checking listed depth against the run before committing, and separating materials a supplier sells from costs it does not — applies to any maker and any supplier. Only the prices, pack sizes, listed depth and product-page specifications are CSI-specific.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages.
