Commercial Fragrance Oil · Sandalwood
CSI stocks exactly two sandalwood oils. The kilograms are ₹27.80 apart — 0.56%. There is no separate wholesale rate card, no trade tier and no published MOQ, so the price below is the price. The rest of this page is the part that actually changes your cost per candle.
₹5,026.80
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil, 1 kg = ₹5.027 per gram · Mint Sandalwood 1 kg ₹4,999 = ₹4.999 per gram · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What is the 1 kg wholesale price of sandalwood fragrance oil? ₹5,026.80 for Sandalwood Fragrance Oil and ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood. That is the website price and it is the same price for every buyer. CSI publishes no separate wholesale rate, no slab, no trade tier and no minimum order quantity.

Does the kilogram get me a volume discount? On straight Sandalwood, no — it saves exactly ₹0. Two 500 g packs are ₹5,026.80 and one kilogram is ₹5,026.80. Ten 100 g packs are also ₹5,026.80. On Mint Sandalwood the kilogram does save money — ₹4,999 against ₹5,490 for ten 100 g packs, a ₹491 (8.9%) saving — and the reason is structural, not generous.

How many candles does 1 kg make? 62 candles of 200 g at an 8% load (16 g of oil each), with 8 g left over.

What should I actually do before committing? Buy 15 g of Sandalwood at ₹93.22 and 50 g of Mint Sandalwood at ₹299 — ₹392.22 together, 7.8% of one kilogram — and burn them side by side. They are not the same scent.
The short answer
The two prices: Sandalwood 1 kg ₹5,026.80 (₹5.027/g); Mint Sandalwood 1 kg ₹4,999 (₹4.999/g). A gap of ₹27.80, or about 45 paise on a 200 g candle.
There is no trade rate to ask for. One published ladder, the same for a first-time 15 g buyer and a repeat kilogram buyer. If you have a large recurring requirement you can ask for a quote on WhatsApp — but nothing on this site promises that a better number exists, and we are not going to imply one.
The oil is the smallest cost lever on a sandalwood candle. Vessel choice moves about ₹41.30 per 200 g candle and fragrance load moves about ₹40.21 between 6% and 10%. Choosing between the two sandalwoods moves ₹0.44.
Price per gram as pack size rises — both sandalwoods, same scale ₹6.30 ₹5.40 ₹4.90 15 g 50 g 100 g 500 g 1 kg Sandalwood — flat at ₹5.027/g from 100 g up Mint Sandalwood — one 8.9% step, no 500 g rung ₹ per gram
Solid line and filled dots: Sandalwood — ₹6.215/g at 15 g, ₹5.428/g at 50 g, then ₹5.0268/g at 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. It is dead flat from 100 g upwards, which is the whole answer to "is there a wholesale tier": there isn't one to find. Dashed line and open dots: Mint Sandalwood — ₹5.98/g at 50 g, ₹5.49/g at 100 g, ₹4.999/g at 1 kg. Its line keeps falling only because it has no 500 g rung, so the kilogram is the only remaining step down. Both plotted on the same axis; the dashed segment spans 100 g to 1 kg because no 500 g variant exists.
Straight answer
What is the wholesale price of 1 kg of sandalwood fragrance oil in India?
At CSI it is ₹5,026.80 for Sandalwood Fragrance Oil and ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood — the only two sandalwood oils in the catalogue, ₹27.80 or 0.56% apart. Those are the published prices and there is no second set. CSI operates one price ladder for every buyer: no wholesale rate card, no trade tier, no quantity slab, no published minimum order quantity and no credit term. The kilogram rung is simply the bottom of that ladder. If you have a large recurring requirement you are welcome to describe it on WhatsApp and ask for a quote — but nothing published here says the answer is lower, so plan your costing on ₹5,026.80. The genuinely useful finding on this page is what happens next: on straight Sandalwood the kilogram saves exactly ₹0 against ten 100 g packs or two 500 g packs, so there is no volume tier to hunt for, and the levers that actually move your cost per candle are the vessel and the fragrance load — not the oil.
One line: ₹5,026.80 for Sandalwood and ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood, one ladder for everyone, and the kilogram of straight Sandalwood is a convenience purchase rather than a discount.
Before you commit a kilogram to a production run: 15 g of Sandalwood is ₹93.22 and 50 g of Mint Sandalwood is ₹299. That is ₹392.22 for both — 7.8% of one kilogram — and they do not smell the same. Burn them side by side first.

Both ladders in full, and what CSI does not publish

Two products, ten variants between them, and one of those ten does not exist. Start with the table, because the arithmetic that follows depends on reading it correctly.

CSI's sandalwood line is two SKUs. Sandalwood Fragrance Oil ships in all five sizes; Mint Sandalwood ships in three, because there is no 15 g and no 500 g Mint Sandalwood variant — if you see either quoted anywhere, it is wrong. That absence is not a footnote. It is why the two ladders behave completely differently, and it is what most price comparisons get wrong.

CSI live pricing, September 2026
The complete sandalwood ladder — every variant that exists, and the per-gram rate for each
Size Sandalwood ₹ / g Mint Sandalwood ₹ / g
15 g ₹93.22 ₹6.215 No such variant —
50 g ₹271.40 ₹5.428 ₹299.00 ₹5.980
100 g ₹502.68 ₹5.0268 ₹549.00 ₹5.490
500 g ₹2,513.40 ₹5.0268 No such variant —
1 kg ₹5,026.80 ₹5.0268 ₹4,999.00 ₹4.999

Read the two kilogram figures together: ₹5,026.80 and ₹4,999, a gap of ₹27.80. As a percentage of the Mint Sandalwood kilogram that is 0.56%. Over a full kilogram it is less than the price of a single pack of ten Eco Candle Wicks at ₹59. This is the flattest price pair in the whole commercial fragrance set, and it is why this particular page can be honest quickly and then spend its length on something useful.

What CSI does not publish, stated plainly so you can stop looking. No wholesale rate card. No trade or reseller tier. No quantity slab — the per-gram rate does not step down at 2 kg or 5 kg, because there is no pack larger than 1 kg in the catalogue at all. No published minimum order quantity, which cuts both ways: nobody will stop you buying 15 g, and nobody is holding a better rate behind a volume commitment. No published credit term. You are welcome to ask for a quote on a large recurring requirement and you will get a straight answer; we are not going to pretend on a public page that the answer is a discount.

Above one kilogram the arithmetic is multiplication, not a new SKU. 5 kg of Sandalwood is 5 × ₹5,026.80 = ₹25,134 and 10 kg is 10 × ₹5,026.80 = ₹50,268, supplied as five or ten separate 1 kg bottles. For Mint Sandalwood, 5 kg is 5 × ₹4,999 = ₹24,995 and 10 kg is ₹49,990. The website will not drop the rate automatically at those quantities. That is covered in more detail in the bulk fragrance oil guide and the complete wholesale buyer's guide.

Why the Sandalwood kilogram saves ₹0 — and where the one real break is

This is the section that costs CSI money to publish, and it is the reason you should trust the rest of the page.

Do the multiplication yourself. Two 500 g packs of Sandalwood: 2 × ₹2,513.40 = ₹5,026.80. One kilogram: ₹5,026.80. The difference is zero rupees. Now try it in hundreds: ten 100 g packs = 10 × ₹502.68 = ₹5,026.80. Also zero. The 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg variants are all priced at exactly ₹5.0268 per gram, so from 100 g upwards the Sandalwood ladder is dead flat. There is no volume tier hiding at the top of it, and you can stop looking for one.

The only rungs where the per-gram rate changes at all sit below 100 g. Fifteen grams costs ₹6.215/g, fifty grams ₹5.428/g, and then the price per gram drops for the last time at 50 g → 100 g, from ₹5.428 to ₹5.0268 — a 7.98% improvement. After that, nothing. The practical consequence: buying a kilogram in twenty 50 g bottles costs ₹5,428 against ₹5,026.80, so ₹401.20 more. Buying it in ten 100 g bottles costs the same as the kilogram. Beyond the 100 g rung, pack size is a logistics decision, not a pricing one.

Route to one kilogram · Sandalwood vs Mint Sandalwood
Five ways to buy 1,000 g, and what each actually costs
Route to 1,000 g Sandalwood vs its kilogram Mint Sandalwood vs its kilogram
20 × 50 g ₹5,428.00 +₹401.20 (7.98% more) ₹5,980.00 +₹981.00 (16.4% more)
10 × 100 g ₹5,026.80 ₹0 — identical ₹5,490.00 +₹491.00 (8.9% more)
2 × 500 g ₹5,026.80 ₹0 — identical No 500 g variant —
1 × 1 kg ₹5,026.80 the reference ₹4,999.00 the reference

Now the contrast, because it is the one genuine volume break in this cluster and the reason for it matters. Mint Sandalwood's kilogram saves ₹491 against ten 100 g packs — ₹4,999 against ₹5,490, an 8.9% saving. That is real money on a real purchase. But it is not generosity, and reading it as generosity will mislead you about every other oil on the site. Mint Sandalwood has no 500 g rung. Its ladder is 50 g, 100 g, then straight to 1 kg. On an oil with a 500 g variant, the per-gram rate has already stepped down once by the time you reach half a kilogram, so the kilogram has little left to give. On Mint Sandalwood the kilogram is carrying two steps at once — the step the missing 500 g variant would have made, and its own. The 8.9% is the shape of a gap in the variant ladder, not a trade concession.

The decision rule this produces
For Mint Sandalwood, the kilogram becomes the cheaper route the moment your requirement passes roughly 900 g — nine 100 g packs cost ₹4,941, which is still under ₹4,999, but the tenth takes you to ₹5,490. At a 200 g candle and an 8% load that is about 57 candles of that scent per order. For straight Sandalwood, the kilogram never becomes cheaper than 100 g or 500 g packs, because they are the same rate. The only reasons to buy it are fewer parcels and fewer batch codes — one bottle instead of ten means one lot number across a production run, which is a genuine quality-control benefit on a wedding or hamper order, and it is worth something. It is just not worth rupees.
If the constraint is genuinely the rupee rate rather than the note itself: Woody Oud is ₹4,531.20 per kilogram — ₹4.5312 per gram, 9.9% cheaper than Sandalwood. It is a resinous woody oil and it is not a sandalwood. Do not put it in a puja or classic-sandal range and expect the customer not to notice.

What actually cuts the cost of a sandalwood candle, ranked by money moved

Here is the part the reader who searched for a wholesale rate actually needs. Build the whole candle, see where the money sits, and then pull the levers in order of size. Below is a complete bill of materials for a 200 g soy container candle at an 8% fragrance load — 16 g of Sandalwood and 184 g of wax — priced entirely from CSI live pricing, September 2026.

Bill of materials · one 200 g sandalwood candle at 8%
Every line priced from a live CSI variant, with its share of the total
Line Product and variant used Quantity Cost Share
Wax Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, 1 kg ₹507.40 (₹0.5074/g) 184 g ₹93.36 36.8%
Fragrance Sandalwood, 1 kg ₹5,026.80 (₹5.0268/g) 16 g — 8% of the finished 200 g ₹80.43 31.7%
Vessel White Matte Glass Jar, pack of 10 ₹708.00 1 ₹70.80 27.9%
Wick Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1), 100 for ₹590 1 ₹5.90 2.3%
Wick sticker Candle Wick Stickers, 40 for ₹100 1 ₹2.50 1.0%
Care label Candle Care Stickers Roll, 500 for ₹413 1 ₹0.83 0.3%
Total materials Excluding dye, packaging, shipping, labour and GST — ₹253.82 100%

Fragrance is 31.7% of that build — a third, which is why it feels like the number to negotiate. It is not, because the two available sandalwood prices are 0.56% apart. Here are the three levers that remain, with the arithmetic, ranked by rupees moved per candle.

1
The vessel — up to ₹41.30 per candleThe jar is 27.9% of the build above and has the widest published price range of any line. The matte glass jar family is ₹354 per pack of 5 or ₹708 per pack of 10 — ₹70.80 each at either rung. The 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar with golden lid is ₹200.60 for 5 (₹40.12 each) but ₹2,950 for 100 — ₹29.50 each. Swapping at the 100-piece rung takes the candle from ₹253.82 to ₹212.52, a 16.3% cut in materials. Going the other way, the Black Glass Jar with Black Lid is ₹107.00 each. Check fill capacity against your pour weight on the listing before you switch: the salsa jar is published as 200 ml and that 150 g jar as a 150 g fill, and for the matte family CSI publishes no fill weight — measure with water against your own 200 g pour rather than assuming.
2
The fragrance load — ₹40.21 per candle between 6% and 10%Load is a percentage of the finished candle weight. On a 200 g candle at ₹5.0268 per gram of Sandalwood: 6% is 12 g = ₹60.32; 8% is 16 g = ₹80.43; 10% is 20 g = ₹100.54. The spread from 6% to 10% is ₹40.21 per candle — ninety times the gap between the two sandalwood oils. This is where the money genuinely is, and it is a formulation decision, not a purchasing one. Stay inside your wax's ceiling: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are rated up to 13% and CSI 464 up to 10%. Those are the wax maker's formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and they are not interchangeable — 13% does not apply to CSI 464, whose ceiling is 10%. Sandalwood's weight sits in the base, so it survives a lower load better than a citrus would; test 6% against 8% before assuming you need 8%.
3
The oil itself — ₹0.44 per candle, and that is the whole leverSixteen grams of Sandalwood is ₹80.43. Sixteen grams of Mint Sandalwood is ₹79.98. The difference is ₹0.4448 — about 45 paise a candle. Across the 62 candles one kilogram makes, the total saving is ₹27.58, which is the ₹27.80 kilogram gap net of the leftover 8 g. That is the entire commercial case for choosing between the two sandalwoods, and it is roughly one ninety-third of the vessel lever. On this scent, the oil is the smallest lever on the page. That is unusual — on the coffee family the spread between the cheapest and dearest oil is 3.42× — and it is worth knowing, because it means a sandalwood buyer's negotiating energy is better spent on glass.
A fourth lever, for completeness: the wax. 184 g of CSI 464 at ₹507.40/kg is ₹93.36. The same 184 g of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹599/kg is ₹110.22 — ₹16.86 more per candle. That is 38 times the oil lever. The chunks buy you a higher stated ceiling (13% against 10%) if you need headroom; if you do not, the flakes are cheaper. Either way, both choices matter more to your cost sheet than which sandalwood you buy. Re-test your wick after any wax change; a different wax is a different melt pool, and the wick guide by diameter covers the method.
The CSI principle
On sandalwood, the oil is not the lever. The glass is.
The entire gap between the two sandalwood kilograms is ₹27.80, or 45 paise a candle. Moving from a ₹70.80 jar to a ₹29.50 jar of comparable fill returns ₹41.30 a candle — ninety-three times as much, from a decision that needs nobody's permission.

Sandalwood against the rest of the catalogue

Context for whether ₹5.027 per gram is expensive. Across the 92 fragrance oils CSI stocks, the per-gram range at kilogram pricing runs from ₹2.832 to ₹24.056 — a spread of 8.5×. Sandalwood sits in the lower-middle of that. Fragrance cost below is for a 200 g candle at an 8% load, so 16 g of oil, fragrance only.

Per-gram position · kilogram pricing, September 2026
Where sandalwood sits between the catalogue's cheapest and dearest oils
Oil 1 kg ₹ / g Fragrance in a 200 g candle @ 8% vs Sandalwood
Citrus Lemon — catalogue's cheapest ₹2,832.00 ₹2.832 ₹45.31 ₹35.12 less
British Rose ₹3,068.00 ₹3.068 ₹49.09 ₹31.34 less
Woody Oud — nearest woody alternative ₹4,531.20 ₹4.5312 ₹72.50 ₹7.93 less
Mint Sandalwood ₹4,999.00 ₹4.999 ₹79.98 ₹0.44 less

Club De Nuit Intense inspired — catalogue's dearest ₹24,056.00 ₹24.056 ₹384.90 ₹304.47 more

Sandalwood is 1.78× the catalogue's cheapest oil per gram, and the dearest oil is 4.79× sandalwood. If your constraint is genuinely the rupee rate rather than the specific note, Woody Oud at ₹4,531.20 per kilogram is 9.9% cheaper per gram and saves ₹7.93 on every 200 g candle — eighteen times what switching between the two sandalwoods returns. The important part out loud: Woody Oud is a resinous woody oil, not a sandalwood. It will not read as sandalwood to someone who bought a sandalwood candle, and swapping it into an existing SKU without renaming the product is a returns problem, not a saving. Its own kilogram also saves ₹0 against two 500 g packs — the same flat shape.

Mint Sandalwood is not a substitute — and your sandalwood line rests on two SKUs

₹27.80 a kilogram is not a reason to change what a candle smells like. This is the mistake this page exists to prevent.

Mint Sandalwood is a blend with a mint top note. It is not a straight single-note sandalwood. A buyer who reads only the price table will miss that, because ₹4,999 sitting ₹27.80 below ₹5,026.80 looks like the same oil at a marginally better rate. It is not the same oil: the mint sits on top of the wood and reads immediately in cold throw, before the candle is lit.

If you supply a puja range, a meditation or yoga range, a temple or gifting line, or any classic sandalwood range where the customer expects the traditional wood note, do not substitute Mint Sandalwood to save ₹27.80 a kilogram. That is 45 paise a candle set against a customer who ordered sandalwood and received a mint opening. Mint Sandalwood is a good oil with its own place — a fresher, cleaner wood for spa, wellness or contemporary gifting. Buy it for that profile, not for the ₹27.80.

The supply-concentration point a wholesale buyer specifically needs. CSI's entire sandalwood offer is two SKUs, and that has a consequence a wholesale buyer has to plan for: if one is unavailable, the other one smells different. There is no third sandalwood to fall back on. So confirm availability before you commit a production run, especially in a festive or wedding window where the pour date cannot move. Hold cover — enough oil on the shelf to finish the current run plus the next one, rather than ordering to the week. And decide your fallback in advance, in writing: either you pause the SKU, or you switch to Woody Oud and rename the product honestly. Confirm stock on WhatsApp before the run, not after; the Diwali ordering timeline sets out how far ahead.

For the cover calculation: one kilogram makes 62 candles of 200 g at 8% — 1,000 ÷ 16 = 62.5, so 62 finished candles with 8 g over. At 6% it is 83 candles; at 10%, 50. Pouring 300 sandalwood candles a quarter at 8% needs 4.8 kg, so 5 × ₹5,026.80 = ₹25,134 for five kilograms, supplied as five separate 1 kg bottles because no pack larger than 1 kg exists; ten kilograms is ₹50,268 as ten bottles. What a business your size should hold is worked through in how much fragrance oil a candle business needs.

What to ask a supplier instead of "what's your wholesale price"

If the published price is the price, the question that opens a supplier conversation has to change. These five questions are worth more to a commercial buyer than a rate negotiation, because each one has a rupee consequence that is larger than the 0.56% you were trying to win — and each one applies to any supplier, not just this one.

The five questions · and why each one costs or saves you money
Ask these before you place a first kilogram order with anybody
Ask What a good answer sounds like Why it affects your cost
Batch consistency — is the sandalwood I buy in January the same as the one I buy in June? A named batch or lot on the bottle, and a straight answer about whether the formulation is fixed A profile that drifts between batches forces a re-test, a re-wick and sometimes a scrapped run. One discarded 62-candle batch costs more than a year of the ₹27.80 gap
IFRA documentation — what is the stated usage guidance for a candle application? Documentation supplied on request, per oil, in writing It tells you the load you are entitled to work to, which is the ₹40.21-per-candle lever. Without it you are guessing, and guessing high is expensive
MSDS — can I have the safety data sheet? Supplied on request, without a fuss Needed for storage, for courier and export paperwork, and for any retail or corporate buyer who audits suppliers. Missing paperwork loses orders you have already paid to win
GST invoicing — will I get a proper tax invoice? A GST invoice with your GSTIN on it, every time Input tax credit is real money. An unbilled purchase is a genuinely more expensive purchase, whatever the sticker rate says
Availability in three months — will this exact oil still be listed? An honest answer, including "we don't know" A discontinued oil orphans a customer-facing SKU. With only two sandalwoods, this is the single biggest risk on this page
Pack sizes — which variants actually exist? The real ladder, with the gaps named Mint Sandalwood has no 15 g and no 500 g variant. Planning a 500 g order that cannot be placed delays a pour date

CSI's answers, so you can hold us to them: GST invoicing on every order; IFRA and MSDS documentation on request via WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. Pack ladders exactly as published here, including the two gaps in Mint Sandalwood. Availability answered honestly when you ask, including when we do not know. And one published ladder, the same for everyone. How other buyers approach the same conversation is set out in how premium brands buy fragrance wholesale and the wholesale supplier comparison.

Weigh, do not measure — and weigh the oil, not the wax
Fragrance load is a weight percentage of the finished candle, so 8% of a 200 g candle is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax. If you instead take 8% of the wax you get 14.72 g, which is a different candle and a different cost. Oils differ in density, so millilitres will not give you a repeatable load either. A candle making weighing scale at ₹354 pays for itself on the first batch you do not have to throw away, which at ₹253.82 a candle happens quickly.
If the kilogram saves you nothing, the honest thing to do is say so and then help with the part that does.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. The commercially convenient version of this page would hint that a wholesale rate exists and invite you to ask for it. We have not, because it does not: there is one published ladder, the same for every buyer, and inventing a trade tier would cost us the only thing a supplier has that a buyer can check.

The most useful figure on this page is also the one that argues against buying more from us in one go: the Sandalwood kilogram at ₹5,026.80 saves exactly ₹0 against two 500 g packs at ₹2,513.40 each, or ten 100 g packs at ₹502.68 each. Verify it with a calculator — that is the point. Buy the kilogram for fewer parcels and one batch code across a run, both real benefits, and not for a discount that is not there. Before you buy any of it, spend ₹392.22 on 15 g of Sandalwood and 50 g of Mint Sandalwood and burn them side by side.

Every price here is a live CSI variant price from September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. Fragrance load ceilings of 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 are the wax manufacturer's formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and they do not transfer between waxes. For quotes on a large recurring requirement, GST invoicing, IFRA and MSDS documentation, or confirmation of stock before a production run, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

What is the wholesale price of 1 kg sandalwood fragrance oil in India?
At CSI, ₹5,026.80 for Sandalwood Fragrance Oil and ₹4,999 for Mint Sandalwood, which works out at ₹5.027 and ₹4.999 per gram. Those are the published prices for every buyer. CSI does not operate a separate wholesale rate card, a trade tier, a quantity slab or a published minimum order quantity. If you have a large recurring requirement you can describe it on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 and ask for a quote, but no published figure says the answer will be lower, so cost your candles on ₹5,026.80.
Is 1 kg cheaper per gram than buying 500 g twice?
For straight Sandalwood, no — it is identical. Two 500 g packs at ₹2,513.40 come to ₹5,026.80, and the kilogram is ₹5,026.80. Ten 100 g packs at ₹502.68 also come to ₹5,026.80. The rate is flat at ₹5.0268 per gram from 100 g upwards. For Mint Sandalwood the comparison cannot be made in 500 g because no 500 g variant exists; against ten 100 g packs at ₹5,490 its kilogram at ₹4,999 does save ₹491, or 8.9%, and that is because the missing 500 g rung leaves the kilogram carrying two price steps instead of one.
How many candles will 1 kg of sandalwood fragrance oil make?
62 candles of 200 g at an 8% fragrance load — 16 g of oil per candle, 1,000 ÷ 16 = 62.5, so 62 finished candles with 8 g left over. At a 6% load it is 12 g each and 83 candles; at 10% it is 20 g each and 50 candles. The fragrance cost is ₹80.43 per candle at 8%, which is 31.7% of a ₹253.82 bill of materials built on CSI 464 wax, a ₹70.80 matte glass jar and an Eco Wick.
Can I buy a 5 kg or 10 kg pack of sandalwood fragrance oil?
No. CSI's fragrance-oil ladder stops at 1 kg — there is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg pack anywhere in the catalogue. Five kilograms of Sandalwood is 5 × ₹5,026.80 = ₹25,134 and ten kilograms is ₹50,268, supplied as five or ten separate 1 kg bottles. For Mint Sandalwood it is ₹24,995 and ₹49,990. The website price does not fall automatically above 1 kg. If you are buying at that volume, message us on WhatsApp and we will quote your requirement directly — without any promise here that the number will be different.
Is Mint Sandalwood a cheaper version of Sandalwood?
No — it is a different scent, and it is only ₹27.80 a kilogram cheaper, which is about 45 paise on a 200 g candle. Mint Sandalwood is a blend with a mint top note over the wood; Sandalwood is the straight single note. If you are supplying puja, meditation or classic-wood ranges, do not substitute one for the other to save ₹27.80. Buy Mint Sandalwood when you want a fresher, cleaner wood for a spa or contemporary gifting range. Test 15 g of Sandalwood at ₹93.22 and 50 g of Mint Sandalwood at ₹299 side by side before you decide.
Is there a cheaper alternative to sandalwood fragrance oil?
Cheaper per gram, yes: Woody Oud at ₹4,531.20 per kilogram is ₹4.5312 per gram — 9.9% cheaper, saving ₹7.93 on a 200 g candle at 8%. But it is a resinous woody oil and it is not a sandalwood, so it is an alternative only if your constraint is cost rather than the specific note. If you swap it into an existing SKU, rename the product. The catalogue's cheapest oil overall is Citrus Lemon at ₹2,832 per kilogram, which is a different scent family entirely.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages, and each is labelled with the product it was actually left for. Reena Bagal's review is the one genuine review for Sandalwood Fragrance Oil. The other five are for Woody Oud Fragrance Oil (Payal Patel), Citrus Lemon Fragrance Oil (Avanthi Cheeli), Lavender Fragrance Oil (Priyanka Purohit), Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (Jaya Sawlani) and Soy Pillar Wax (Dipali Sable). There is no published review for Mint Sandalwood — no review has been left for it, and none has been borrowed from another product to stand in for one. All six are recorded by Judge.me as verified buyers. One longer review is shortened with an ellipsis; wording is otherwise unedited. None of the six mentions a wholesale rate, a trade account, a slab or a discount — Dipali Sable's asks for a bulk discount in future, which is a customer request and not a CSI offer.

Two 500 g Sandalwood = ₹5,026.80, identical to the kilogram; ten 100 g = ₹5,026.80, identical; twenty 50 g = ₹5,428.00, ₹401.20 more. Load arithmetic on Sandalwood: 6% = 12 g = ₹60.32, 8% = 16 g = ₹80.43, 10% = 20 g = ₹100.54. Bill of materials: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40 (₹0.5074/g, 184 g = ₹93.36); White Matte Glass Jar ₹708.00 per 10 (₹70.80 each); Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) ₹590.00 per 100 (₹5.90 each); Candle Wick Stickers ₹100.00 per 40 (₹2.50 each); Candle Care Stickers Roll ₹413.00 per 500 (₹0.83 each) — total ₹253.82. Alternative vessels: 200 ml Salsa Glass Jar (Golden Lid) ₹2,950.00 per 100 (₹29.50 each) and ₹200.60 per 5 (₹40.12 each); Black Glass Jar with Black Lid 150 g ₹1,070.00 per 10 (₹107.00 each). Alternative wax: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg ₹599.00 (184 g = ₹110.22). Yield: 1,000 g ÷ 16 g = 62.5, so 62 candles of 200 g at 8%. Above 1 kg: 5 kg Sandalwood = 5 × ₹5,026.80 = ₹25,134; 10 kg = ₹50,268; 5 kg Mint Sandalwood = ₹24,995; 10 kg = ₹49,990 — supplied as separate 1 kg bottles, because no fragrance-oil pack larger than 1 kg exists in the catalogue. Fragrance load ceilings of up to 13% for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and up to 10% for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 are the wax manufacturer's stated formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and are not interchangeable between waxes — 13% does not apply to CSI 464. CSI publishes no wholesale rate card, trade tier, quantity slab, minimum order quantity or credit term; the prices above are the published prices for every buyer.
