Container Candle Wax Bulk Supplier in India
Share
What does the wax cost per jar? In a 150 g jar at 8% (138 g of wax), ₹55.09 to ₹87.91 at bulk-pack prices. The ₹94.40 jar costs more than any of them.
Does the jar change which wax I should buy? Yes. CSI's 150 g glass jars and the Apothecary jar state hot pour up to 85°C. CSI 468 (58–60°C) and Luxury Soy Chunks (70–80°C) pour inside that; CSI 464's page states 80–90°C, so only 80–85°C fits.
Is 200 ml the same as 200 g? No — weigh one filled jar first.
Start with the vessel, not the wax
Most bulk container-wax orders are placed the wrong way round: a wax is chosen on price or a load figure, a big bag arrives, and then the jars are shopped for. The jar is the less flexible half of the pair. It carries your brand, it is bought in 50s and 100s, and its product page states limits no wax can argue with.
Three of those limits drive the wax choice. The hot-pour rating caps how hot the wax can be when it goes in. The finish — clear, coloured, matte, metal or ceramic — decides whether frosting and pull-away will show on a shelf. The stated fill sets grams of wax per candle, the number every bulk order is built from.

Every container wax CSI lists, side by side
Ten waxes in the CSI range describe container use on their pages. Five soy and coconut-soy waxes are listed in 5 kg-plus packs, beeswax to 10 kg, and paraffin, gel and Premium Coconut Soy Wax stop at 1 kg. The last column is the wax inside a 150 g jar at 8% (138 g of wax, 12 g of oil) at the largest listed pack's price per kilo.
| Wax | Largest listed pack | Per kg at that pack | Stated load | Stated temperatures | What the page says about containers | Wax in a 150 g jar |

Read it for supply and for information. The bottom four rows are listed only as single kilos, so a recurring container line built on them runs on WhatsApp quotes, not add-to-cart — the paraffin side is covered in paraffin candle wax wholesale supplier in India. And only three waxes — CSI 464, Luxury Soy Chunks and CSI 468 — publish both a load and temperatures, which makes them the fastest to put into production. Gel is a separate material made to be seen through glass, not a cheaper stand-in for soy.
Matching wax to glass, tin and ceramic
Clear glass shows everything. Frosting, the white bloom natural soy can develop, shows on the side wall; so do wet spots where wax pulls away from the glass. Both look like defects to a customer holding the jar up to the light. That is why the page claims on CSI 464 ("excellent glass adhesion", "low frosting") and CSI 468 ("excellent glass adhesion", "minimal frosting") matter most here — confirm them in your own jar at day 7. The causes are in why soy candles frost and why candles get wet spots and sinkholes.
Hot-pour ratings set the ceiling. The Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g), the coloured 150 g jars from the same family and the Apothecary Glass Candle Jar all state that they are safe for hot pour up to 85°C. CSI 468 (pour 58–60°C) and Luxury Soy Chunks (pour 70–80°C) sit inside it. CSI 464's page states a pour of 80–90°C and Eco Soy CSI 400 says add at 85°C and pour directly — both straddle the line, so let them fall to 80–85°C before they touch the glass.
Opaque glass forgives the side wall. Black matte, frosted and colour jars hide frosting and small adhesion gaps; only the top shows. That is where the lowest wax cost per jar makes sense — Eco Soy CSI 400 (₹55.09 per 150 g fill) or Natural Soy Pearl (₹58.62) — unless throw is your selling point, in which case choose on load, not looks.
Tins are opaque and unforgiving of lid fit. The Golden Aluminium Tin page suggests coconut soy wax with C1 or C2 wicks, which points to CSI 468. Inspect tins on arrival for dents and test lid fit on a poured, cured candle before printing labels for hundreds. Ceramic hides the wall too; the Ceramic Jar states a 180 g fill but no hot-pour limit, so pour at the low end of your wax's window and check the first ten.
| Vessel type | Hard constraint | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clear glass, 85°C hot-pour rated | Pour at or below 85°C | CSI 464 (pour 80–85°C) or CSI 468 | Both pages claim glass adhesion; CSI 468's 58–60°C pour is well inside the limit |
| Clear glass, no rating stated | Unknown — test | Luxury Soy Chunks (pour 70–80°C) | A stated 70–80°C pour and a load range up to 13% |
| Matte, frosted, glossy colour glass | Fill stated in ml — weigh it | Eco Soy CSI 400 or Natural Soy Pearl | Lowest wax cost per jar where the side wall is hidden |
| Aluminium tins | Lid closure on a set candle | CSI 468 | The tin's page suggests coconut soy wax |
| Ceramic | No stated hot-pour limit | CSI 468 or Luxury Soy Chunks | Lower stated pour temperatures give the widest margin |
| Clear glass, gel line | A separate product line | Gel Wax Clear 1 Kg Slab | Made to be seen through glass; not a soy substitute |

Wax per jar for eight CSI vessels
Every bulk order starts with grams per candle. Load is a percentage of the finished candle, so at 8% the wax is 92% of the stated fill. The table uses each vessel's stated fill and the bulk-pack price per gram of four container waxes.
| Vessel (stated fill) | Wax | Oil | Eco Soy CSI 400 | CSI 464 | Luxury Soy Chunks | CSI 468 | Vessel each |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Clear Glass Votive (~70 g) | 64.4 g | 5.6 g | ₹25.71 | ₹32.68 | ₹38.63 | ₹41.02 | ₹31.86 |
| Golden Aluminium Tin (~85 g) | 78.2 g | 6.8 g | ₹31.22 | ₹39.68 | ₹46.91 | ₹49.81 | ₹30 |
| Amber Shiny Glass Jar (120 gm) | 110.4 g | 9.6 g | ₹44.07 | ₹56.02 | ₹66.23 | ₹70.32 | ₹47.20 |
| Tin Containers (135 g variant) | 124.2 g | 10.8 g | ₹49.58 | ₹63.02 | ₹74.51 | ₹79.12 | ₹96.76 |
| Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g) | 138 g | 12 g | ₹55.09 | ₹70.02 | ₹82.79 | ₹87.91 | ₹94.40 |
| Ceramic Jar (180 g) | 165.6 g | 14.4 g | ₹66.11 | ₹84.03 | ₹99.34 | ₹105.49 | ₹129.80 |
| Black Matte Glass Jar (200 ml) | Stated in ml — pour one to your fill line, weigh it, then apply wax = fill × 0.92 | ₹70.80 | |||||
| Apothecary Jar (500 gm variant) | 460 g | 40 g | ₹183.63 | ₹233.40 | ₹275.95 | ₹293.02 | ₹212.40 |
Two patterns matter. In small and mid vessels the container is often the bigger line — the 135 g tin costs more than the wax on every option. In large vessels the wax takes over: in the Apothecary jar, Luxury Soy Chunks cost ₹275.95 against a ₹212.40 jar, and choosing CSI 464 over CSI 468 there is worth ₹59.62 per candle.
Costing a 100-jar run
A 100-jar run in the Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 g) at 8% needs 100 × 138 g = 13.8 kg of wax. With a 3–5% planning allowance that is 14.21–14.49 kg — one 10 kg plus one 5 kg pack, leaving about 0.5–0.8 kg for the next batch. Oil is 1.2 kg, bought as British Rose Fragrance Oil 1 kg (₹3,068) plus 500 gm (₹1,593). Wicks are Eco Candle Wicks C2, 100 for ₹944 (C1 is ₹590).
| Wax | Packs for 15 kg | Wax | Jars 5 × 20 | Wicks C2 100 | Wick stickers 3 × 40 | Oil 1.5 kg | Run total | Per jar |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eco Soy CSI 400 | 3 × 5 kg | ₹5,988 | ₹9,440 | ₹944 | ₹300 | ₹4,661 | ₹21,333 | ₹213.33 |
| Natural Soy Pearl Wax | 10 kg + 5 kg | ₹6,372 | ₹9,440 | ₹944 | ₹300 | ₹4,661 | ₹21,717 | ₹217.17 |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 | 10 kg + 5 kg | ₹7,611 | ₹9,440 | ₹944 | ₹300 | ₹4,661 | ₹22,956 | ₹229.56 |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks | 10 kg + 5 kg | ₹8,994 | ₹9,440 | ₹944 | ₹300 | ₹4,661 | ₹24,339 | ₹243.39 |
| Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 | 10 kg + 5 kg | ₹9,555 | ₹9,440 | ₹944 | ₹300 | ₹4,661 | ₹24,900 | ₹249 |
"Per jar" divides the whole basket, surplus included. Priced on what each jar actually uses — 138 g of wax, 12 g of oil at ₹3.068/g (₹36.82), a ₹9.44 wick, a ₹2.50 sticker and the ₹94.40 jar — it is ₹198.25 on Eco Soy CSI 400, ₹213.18 on CSI 464, ₹225.94 on Luxury Soy Chunks and ₹231.06 on CSI 468. Wax is 27.8% to 38% of the materials.
How bulk container wax is sold at CSI
The pick cards above show the pattern. On CSI 464 (₹507.40/kg from 1 kg), Luxury Soy Chunks (₹599–₹599.90/kg) and Eco Soy CSI 400 (₹399–₹399.20/kg) a bigger bag is a convenience, not a discount. CSI 468 steps from ₹650 to ₹637/kg and Natural Soy Pearl from ₹450 to ₹424.80/kg, both at 5 kg, with no further step at 10 kg or 50 kg. No 25 kg or 100 kg container soy pack is listed, so build larger orders from 10 kg packs — 30 kg of CSI 464 is 3 × ₹5,074 = ₹15,222; of Luxury Soy Chunks, 3 × ₹5,999 = ₹17,997 — and treat listed per-kilo prices as the ceiling. Recurring volumes, CSI 464's page-mentioned 25 kg format, and any bulk paraffin, gel or Premium Coconut Soy Wax go to WhatsApp for a quote; we don't publish what it will be, because it depends on wax, quantity and frequency.
For production planning across several lines, see wholesale soy wax for candle manufacturers; for a price-only comparison at 10 kg, soy wax 10 kg price in India.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We sell both the wax and the jars in this guide, and we are still telling you to buy ten jars and one kilo before a 15 kg order. A container line that pulls away from the glass doesn't get reordered — and neither do its raw materials.
Every price, pack size and specification here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Wax loads and temperatures, vessel fill weights and hot-pour limits are quoted only where the product page states them; claims such as "excellent glass adhesion" are attributed to the page and should be confirmed in your own jar. Stated loads are wax formulation limits, not regulatory limits.

Stated specifications as published: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 8–13% (10% recommended), add 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C (75–80°C in its specification table); CSI 464 up to 10%, melt and pour both 80–90°C, page mentions a 25 kg format; CSI 468 up to 13%, melt 50–53°C, pour 58–60°C; Eco Soy CSI 400 add at 85°C (80–90°C), stir 2 minutes; Semi Refined Paraffin melting point 80–90°C, oil content 6–10%. Vessel fills, hot-pour limits and prices as stated in the vessel table (hot pour up to 85°C stated on the Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid 150 g and the Apothecary jar). 100-jar run: Eco Candle Wicks C2 100 ₹944 (C1 ₹590), Candle Wick Stickers 40 ₹100, British Rose Fragrance Oil 1 kg ₹3,068 and 500 gm ₹1,593; Pen Thermometer and Weighing Scale ₹354 each. Candle maths assumes fragrance load as a percentage of finished candle weight (150 g at 8% = 138 g wax + 12 g oil; 200 g at 8% = 184 g + 16 g); wax cost uses the per-gram price of the largest listed pack; per-jar consumption cost = wax + 12 g oil at 1 kg pricing + one C2 wick + one sticker + one jar; the 3–5% wax allowance is a planning allowance, not a measured loss rate. The 25-degree margin is 85°C minus CSI 468's 60°C upper pour. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
