A kilo is rarely the cheap rung. It is the rung where the decision stops being reversible, which is a completely different thing to buy.

Candle Business Guides · Vijayawada
Everyone buying their first kilo believes they are buying a discount. Mostly they are not. One kilo of fragrance oil is 92 tins of 135 g at an 8% load, about 11.5 kg of wax alongside it, and several months of one opinion about what your customers want — and on most of the CSI shelf it is priced at almost exactly the same rate as two 500 g bottles. This guide is about when that commitment is worth making in a Vijayawada workshop, and when the half-kilo is the better buy.
40 of 72
fragrance oils that stock both a 500 g and a 1 kg bottle where the two rungs are within ₹10 per kilogram of each other — so the kilo buys cover and convenience, not a discount. One kilo is 92 tins of 135 g at 8%, and kilos in stock run from ₹2,832 to ₹24,056 · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How many candles does 1 kg of fragrance oil make? At an 8% load it scents 92 tins of 135 g, or about 96 jars of 130 g, and it needs roughly 11.5 kg of wax to go with it. The candle count moves with the candle size; the wax figure barely moves at all, because the oil is always 8% of the finished weight.

Is the kilo cheaper? Usually not much, and sometimes not at all. Of the 72 oils listing both a 500 g and a 1 kg in stock, 40 price the two within ₹10 per kilogram. On Lemongrass and Lime, Raat Ki Rani, Honeydew Melon and Peach Melon Berry the kilo and two 500 g bottles cost exactly the same. On Tangerine and Spicy Raspberry the kilo is ₹19 dearer than the same weight in 50 g bottles.

So when is a kilo right? When a scent has been asked for by name more than once, has passed a day-14 burn, and has a selling block waiting for it. In Vijayawada that usually means a scent proven through Dussehra and Karthika, bought for Sankranti — not a scent you are hoping about.

What if I need more than a kilo? 1 kg is the largest pack listed, on 87 of 107 fragrance listings. Four kilos is four bottles; above the listed pack there is no published price, only a WhatsApp quote on +91 7397976926.
The short answer
Stop asking what the kilo saves and ask what it covers: 92 tins of 135 g is either three months of selling or eighteen, and only you know which. The rupee difference between rungs is usually trivial; the cover difference is the whole decision.
Check the 500 g price first, every time: on 40 of 72 listings it is within ₹10 a kilogram of the kilo rate, which means you can have the same rate with half the cash and half the risk. Buy the kilo when you want fewer bottles to handle, not when you want a better price.
Only a repeat order earns a kilo: asked for by name twice, passed a day-14 burn, and with a named handover in the calendar. A scent that meets all three is worth 92 candles of commitment; one that meets two is worth 500 g.

One oil, five rungs: what each commits in cash, and what it covers in candles 15 gm · ₹8.667/g ₹130 — 1 candle 50 gm · ₹7.40/g ₹370 — 4 candles 100 gm · ₹7.00/g ₹700 — 9 candles 500 gm · ₹6.774/g ₹3,387 — 46 candles 1 kg · ₹6.774/g ₹6,774 — 92 candles · identical rate to the 500 g The rate stops falling at 500 g. Everything after that is cash, not discount. Raat Ki Rani (Night-Blooming Jasmine), candle counts at 135 g and an 8% load — 10.8 g of oil each.
Bar length is the cash the rung commits; the label is the cover it buys. Raat Ki Rani's per-gram rate falls from ₹8.667 to ₹6.774 between the trial bottle and the 500 g, and then stops dead — the 1 kg is priced at exactly twice the 500 g. Which makes the kilo a question about your next 92 candles, not about your margin.
Straight answer
Should a maker in Vijayawada buy a 1 kg bottle of fragrance oil, and what does it actually get them?
One kilo scents 92 tins of 135 g at an 8% load — 10.8 g each — and needs about 11.5 kg of wax beside it. What it almost never gets you is a meaningful discount. Of the 72 fragrance oils that currently list both a 500 g and a 1 kg pack in stock, 40 price the two rungs within ₹10 per kilogram, and on Lemongrass and Lime (₹5,200 the kilo, ₹2,600 the half), Raat Ki Rani (₹6,774 and ₹3,387), Honeydew Melon (₹3,398.40 and ₹1,699.20) and Peach Melon Berry (₹4,177.20 and ₹2,088.60) the kilo is priced at exactly twice the 500 g. On Tangerine and Spicy Raspberry the kilo is ₹19 dearer than the same weight bought as 50 g bottles. Where the kilo does pay is against small bottles: it saves ₹700 on Lemongrass and Lime and ₹955.80 on Honeydew Melon against ten 100 g bottles. So the honest test is cover, not price. Buy the kilo when a scent has been asked for by name twice, has passed a day-14 burn test, and has a named Vijayawada selling block in front of it — Sankranti, a wedding count, or the Dussehra-to-Karthika run. Otherwise buy 500 g at the same rate and keep the decision open. Above a kilo there is no listed pack and no published price, only a quote on +91 7397976926.
One line: the kilo is two 500 g bottles at the same price with the escape route removed, so buy it only for a scent whose next 92 candles are already spoken for.

Why the kilo is usually the same rate as two half-kilos

The kilo has a reputation it has not earned. On most of this shelf it is not a bulk rate — it is the same rate in a bigger bottle.

Here is the evidence rather than the opinion. Across the whole fragrance range, 72 listings currently have both a 500 g and a 1 kg pack in stock. On 40 of those 72 the two rungs are within ₹10 per kilogram of each other — which, inside a 135 g candle, is a difference of about eleven paise. On 30 the kilo is genuinely cheaper by ₹10 a kilogram or more, and on 2 it is actually dearer by ₹10 or more. Meanwhile, of the 86 listings that stock both a 100 g and a 1 kg, the kilo beats ten 100 g bottles on 52 — so on 34 of them it does not.

That is the whole economics of the kilo, and it changes the question. If the 500 g is the same rate, then the kilo is not a price decision at all; it is a decision about how many bottles you want to handle and how long you are content to be committed. The table sets out four routes to one kilogram on eight oils, so you can see exactly where each route wins.

Four routes to one kilogram · CSI live pricing, September 2026
The kilo bottle against the same weight in 500 g, 100 g and 50 g bottles
Oil 1 kg bottle 2 × 500 g 10 × 100 g 20 × 50 g Verdict on the kilo
Citrus Lemon ₹2,832 ₹2,840 ₹3,000 ₹3,400 Cheapest route, but only by ₹8 against the halves
Honeydew Melon ₹3,398.40 ₹3,398.40 ₹4,354.20 ₹4,342.40 Identical to two halves; saves ₹955.80 on small bottles
Peach Melon Berry ₹4,177.20 ₹4,177.20 ₹4,177.20 ₹4,460.40 Identical at three rungs — pure convenience
Lemongrass and Lime ₹5,200 ₹5,200 ₹5,900 ₹6,600 Same as two halves; saves ₹700 on 100 g bottles
Spicy Raspberry ₹5,999 ₹5,998 ₹5,990 ₹5,980 Dearest route — ₹19 more than 50 g bottles
Raat Ki Rani ₹6,774 ₹6,774 ₹7,000 ₹7,400 Exactly two halves; saves ₹226 on 100 g bottles
Pink Crush ₹8,899 ₹8,898 ₹8,990 ₹8,880 ₹19 dearer than 50 g bottles, ₹91 cheaper than 100 g
Tangerine ₹11,999 ₹11,998 ₹11,990 ₹11,980 Dearest route at every comparison
Worked out above: each route is simply the pack price × the number of packs — 2 × the 500 g price, 10 × the 100 g price, 20 × the 50 g price — compared with the single 1 kg price. Honeydew Melon: 500 gm ₹1,699.20 × 2 = ₹3,398.40, identical to the 1000 gm bottle; 100 gm ₹435.42 × 10 = ₹4,354.20, so the kilo saves ₹955.80. Lemongrass and Lime: 500 gm ₹2,600 × 2 = ₹5,200; 100 gm ₹590 × 10 = ₹5,900, so the kilo saves ₹700. Spicy Raspberry: 50g ₹299 × 20 = ₹5,980 against ₹5,999 for the kilo, so the kilo costs ₹19 more. Peach Melon Berry is flat at ₹4.1772 a gram at 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg alike.
The mistake: calling the kilo a discount when it is a commitment. On Raat Ki Rani the kilo is ₹6,774 and the 500 g is ₹3,387 — the same rate exactly. Buying the kilo therefore does not save you a rupee; it moves ₹3,387 of cash from your account into a bottle several months early, and it removes your option to change scent after 46 candles. That can still be the right call — fewer bottles, fewer labels, no risk of the rung selling out mid-run — but those are convenience and supply arguments, and they should be made out loud rather than dressed up as pricing. If you want the language for the reverse case, look at Tangerine: there, buying the kilo costs you ₹19 for the privilege.

92 candles, measured in selling blocks

Weeks are a poor unit for this decision in Vijayawada, because the year does not sell evenly — it sells in lumps. What matters is how many of your actual selling blocks a kilo covers, and a block is something you can count: the Sankranti and Bhogi run in January, Ugadi in spring, a wedding or Varalakshmi return-gift order with a fixed count, the Dussehra hampers, Diwali on 8 November 2026, the lamp weeks of Karthika Masam, and Christmas. Convert the kilo into blocks and the decision usually answers itself.

One kilo against the Vijayawada year · 135 g tins at 8%, 10.8 g each
What each block consumes of a single kilo, and what is left when it closes
Selling block A realistic count for one scent Oil it consumes Share of one kilo What that tells you
Sankranti and Bhogi, January 150 tins 1,620 g 162% One block alone can outgrow the kilo — this is a scent worth two
Ugadi, spring 60 tins 648 g 65% Comfortable on a kilo, with room for a second small run
One wedding or Varalakshmi order 101 favours 1,090.80 g 109% A single confirmed order can justify the kilo on its own
Dussehra hampers 80 tins 864 g 86% Nearly a whole kilo for one occasion
Diwali, 8 November 2026 120 tins 1,296 g 130% Buy the kilo and a 500 g, or two kilos if it is your lead scent
Karthika Masam lamp weeks 200 votives of 70 g 1,120 g 112% The small format eats a kilo faster than the numbers suggest
Christmas and winter weddings 90 tins 972 g 97% Almost exactly a kilo — the cleanest single-kilo block there is

Two conclusions, and they pull in opposite directions, which is why this is a judgement rather than a rule. First, a single confirmed block can absorb a whole kilo — 101 wedding favours is 1,090.80 g, and 150 Sankranti tins is 1,620 g. If the order is signed, the kilo is not a gamble at all; it is just the right pack. Second, a kilo spread across a whole year is a year of being unable to change your mind, and in a city where the occasions pull quite different scent families — temple sandalwood in Karthika, fresh florals at Ugadi, fruit and spice at Sankranti — one kilo of one scent rarely serves more than two blocks well. The counts above are illustrations, not forecasts; put your own numbers in the second column and read the fourth.

Count the blocks you have been asked for, not the ones in the calendar
The calendar has seven blocks in it. Your order book probably has two. Use the order book. A scent that has a named handover — "101 favours for a February wedding", "200 votives for a Karthika stall" — has earned its kilo, because the candles are effectively already sold. A scent with no named handover is inventory dressed as ambition, and 500 g of it at the same per-gram rate is the same decision with half the exposure. If a block is bigger than a kilo, buy a kilo plus a 500 g rather than two kilos, and keep the second half-kilo sealed.

What the kilo parks and the 500 g keeps open

The number nobody writes down is the cash. Moving from a 500 g bottle to a kilo on four scents at once is not a small adjustment to a purchase order — it is several thousand rupees committed months before the candles exist, on oils that are almost always priced identically per gram at both rungs. The table puts the extra cash next to what it buys.

The cost of going from 500 g to 1 kg · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Extra cash committed, what the upgrade actually saves, and the cover it adds
Oil 500 g 1 kg Extra cash What the upgrade saves Extra cover added
Honeydew Melon ₹1,699.20 ₹3,398.40 ₹1,699.20 Nothing — identical rate 46 more tins of 135 g
Peach Melon Berry ₹2,088.60 ₹4,177.20 ₹2,088.60 Nothing — identical rate 46 more tins
Lemongrass and Lime ₹2,600 ₹5,200 ₹2,600 Nothing against the half; ₹700 against ten 100 g 46 more tins
Raat Ki Rani ₹3,387 ₹6,774 ₹3,387 Nothing — exactly twice the half 46 more tins
Tangerine ₹5,999 ₹11,999 ₹6,000 Costs ₹1 more than two halves 46 more tins
All five upgraded at once ₹15,773.80 ₹31,548.60 ₹15,774.80 Nothing at all 230 more tins of cover

Read the bottom row twice. Upgrading all five scents from a half-kilo to a kilo commits an extra ₹15,774.80 and saves nothing, because every one of those five oils is priced at the same rate — or worse — at the larger rung. What it buys is 230 more candles of cover and five fewer reorders to think about. In a business with a full order book that is a perfectly good trade. In a business that is still learning which scents repeat, it is fifteen thousand rupees of opinions. The general costing logic sits in how much fragrance oil a candle business needs.

The CSI principle
The 500 g bottle is usually the same price per gram and half the conviction. Buy the kilo only when the conviction is the thing you actually have.
On 40 of the 72 oils stocking both rungs, the kilo and two halves are within ₹10 a kilogram. That makes the kilo an honest purchase for a proven scent and an expensive habit for an unproven one — and the difference is not visible on the invoice, only in your order book.

Three scents, three verdicts

Three oils that a Vijayawada maker might reasonably consider buying a kilo of, with a different answer in each case. Each card lists every pack, the price per 100 g, and how many 135 g tins at 8% each pack would scent.

Fresh citrus-herbal · verdict: buy the kilo
Lemongrass and Lime Fragrance Oil
The clearest yes of the three, for two reasons. First it is a year-round scent rather than an occasion scent — bright, clean and fresh, the register that keeps selling between festivals and does particularly well through a long hot stretch. Second, the kilo genuinely pays against small bottles: ₹5,200 against ₹5,900 for ten 100 g, a ₹700 difference, even though it is line-for-line identical to two 500 g bottles. Its page states a recommended load of 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts, which means your 8% pour sits inside a published window. If one scent in your range is going to be poured in every block of the year, this is the shape of scent that earns 92 candles of commitment.

Indian floral · verdict: buy the kilo only against a confirmed order
Raat Ki Rani (Night-Blooming Jasmine) Fragrance Oil
The most Vijayawada-appropriate scent on this page and the most disciplined kilo decision. Night-blooming jasmine is a familiar evening smell in coastal Andhra, which makes it a natural for puja candles, wedding favours and Varalakshmi return gifts — and its page states a recommended load of 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts. But the pricing removes every financial argument for the kilo: ₹6,774 for 1 kg against ₹3,387 for 500 g — exactly double. So the kilo is right here only when a block is already signed: 101 favours consume 1,090.80 g, which is a kilo plus a little, and that is a real reason. Without the order, buy the half at the identical rate. Related reading in best fragrance oils for wedding-favour candles.

Bright citrus · verdict: do not buy the kilo for the price
Tangerine Fragrance Oil
Included precisely because the arithmetic says no. Tangerine peel, mandarin and bergamot over neroli and light jasmine, on white musk, soft amber and light woods — a lovely bright citrus, and the most expensive kilo route on this page: ₹11,999 for 1 kg against ₹11,998 for two 500 g, ₹11,990 for ten 100 g and ₹11,980 for twenty 50 g. Every alternative is cheaper. The kilo can still be the right purchase — one bottle instead of twenty is a genuine operational saving in a busy December — but buy it knowing you are paying ₹19 for the convenience, not receiving a discount for the volume. Note too that the page states no candle load and no flash point, so hold it at 8% and burn-test before it goes anywhere near a 92-candle run.

The five-line test before you buy a kilo

Write these five lines down before any kilo goes in a cart. If you cannot complete all five from your own records, the answer is 500 g at the same rate — and the answer being "not yet" costs you nothing at all.

1
Name the two people who asked for this scent by nameNot "it sells well" — two specific repeat requests, from your order book or your messages. One request is a trend; two is a preference. A scent nobody has asked for twice is a scent you are guessing about, and a kilo is 92 candles of guessing.
2
Write down the day-14 burn result for this exact combinationWax, load, wick, vessel, add temperature, minutes to a full melt pool, soot, throw at 30 and 120 minutes. If the record does not exist, the kilo is premature — and a kilo of a scent that needs a different wick is a kilo of rework. The method is in how to test hot throw before launching a candle fragrance.
3
Name the block and the count"150 Sankranti tins" or "101 February wedding favours" — a handover with a date. Then convert: count × 10.8 g for a 135 g tin, or × 5.6 g for a 70 g votive. If the figure comes to more than about 700 g, the kilo is straightforwardly the right pack.
4
Compare the 500 g and 1 kg prices on that specific listing, in writingTwo divisions, thirty seconds. On 40 of 72 listings you will find the rungs within ₹10 a kilogram, at which point the kilo is a convenience purchase — fine, but name it as one. Check the stock state of both rungs while you are there, because a route that assumes an unavailable pack is not a route.
5
Order the wax in the same breathA kilo of oil at 8% needs about 11.5 kg of wax to become candles. At CSI 464's flat ₹507.40 a kilo that is roughly ₹5,835 — more than the kilo of oil costs on several of the scents above. A kilo of fragrance with no wax behind it is the most common form of stranded stock there is.

Living with an open kilo in the delta

A half-kilo is finished inside one selling block. A kilo has to live through a hot stretch, a monsoon and a great many openings before it becomes candles.

A 500 g bottle is usually finished inside a block. A kilo is not: it sits through a hot stretch, possibly a monsoon, and gets decanted repeatedly. None of that is a reason to avoid it, but three habits make the difference between a kilo that pours cleanly in month five and one you end up second-guessing. Cap it hard and store it upright, away from the wall that takes the afternoon sun and off a floor that has been wet. Decant into a smaller bottle for the working week rather than carrying the kilo to the bench every time; fewer openings on the main bottle means less handling and fewer spills. And write the purchase date on the bottle in marker, along with which batches it has gone into.

On the dating point, be careful about what you claim rather than what you do. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life or a storage temperature, so any expiry date you put on a bottle or a product label is your own invention, not a supplier specification. The useful discipline is comparative: before an older kilo goes into a paid order, smell it against a fresh 15 g bottle of the same oil and pour one test candle. That tells you something real, which a made-up expiry date never does. Seasonal material behaviour across a Krishna delta year — the hot build-up, the monsoon, the damp weeks that overlap the festive run, the short cool spell around Sankranti — is set out in the supplier guide for Vijayawada, with no temperature or humidity figure claimed for the city.

Do not judge your kilo halfway through the damp weeks and change the recipe. The most expensive thing a maker can do with 92 candles' worth of one scent is decide in the middle of the monsoon that it has gone quiet and raise the load. At 8% a 135 g tin carries 10.8 g; at 10% it carries 13.5 g, which turns 92 candles into 74 and costs you 18 candles of yield — and on Raat Ki Rani the roughly 200 g of extra oil that goes into the remaining 74 is ₹1,354.80 at the kilo price. Before touching the load, check the two free variables: cure time, and whether the jar was warm and dry when you poured. The weak-throw diagnosis guide works through the order to check them in.
A kilo of oil needs about 11.5 kg of wax behind it — Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 10 kg ₹5,074 plus a 1 kg bag at ₹507.40, flat at ₹507.40 a kilo — and 92 wicks, at ₹5.90 each on Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1). Order them together, and ask on WhatsApp for anything above a kilo of one scent.
Ask about more than a kilo

When a kilo is not enough

Sometimes 92 candles is simply not the size of the problem. A Sankranti run of 150 tins in one scent needs 1,620 g; a 200-candle Karthika stall in 70 g votives needs 1,120 g; a lead Diwali scent across 120 tins needs 1,296 g. In every one of those cases the answer is not a bigger bottle, because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed anywhere in the range — it is either a kilo plus a 500 g, or two kilos, or a quote.

Price the multiplication before you ask. Two kilos of Lemongrass and Lime is ₹10,400; a kilo plus a 500 g is ₹7,800. Two kilos of Raat Ki Rani is ₹13,548. Four kilos of Honeydew Melon is ₹13,593.60. Those are listed prices you can rely on, and they are the ceiling figures to send to WhatsApp along with the scent, the grams, the wax quantity and the date you need to be pouring by. Bulk pricing above the listed packs, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation for a named oil are all handled on +91 7397976926 — and what a quote returns is not something this page will pretend to know. If your volumes are routinely at this level, the production arithmetic belongs in bulk supply for Vijayawada businesses, and the rung arithmetic in wholesale fragrance oils delivered to Vijayawada.

Ask what the kilo covers before you ask what it saves. On most of this shelf the answer to the second question is nothing, and the answer to the first one is the only one that has ever decided anything.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, does not sell finished candles, and does not manufacture the wax or blend the fragrance oils it stocks. The profitable version of this page would tell you the kilo is the smart buy. Instead it counts the listings where the 500 g is priced at the same rate, names three oils where the kilo is actually dearer, and recommends the half-kilo for any scent without a confirmed block behind it — because a maker who buys the right quantity keeps buying, and one holding four unsold kilos through a monsoon usually stops.

Every price, pack, stock flag and specification comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing takes precedence. The rung comparisons count only packs currently in stock. Loads are quoted only where the listing states them — Lemongrass and Lime and Raat Ki Rani both state 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts; Tangerine states no load, cure or flash point, and this guide says so rather than supplying one. No page states a shelf life, storage temperature, throw distance, room coverage or burn time, so none is claimed here, and no lead time, courier or shipping rate is published for Vijayawada or anywhere else. Candle counts per block are worked illustrations, not forecasts, and no temperature or humidity figure is claimed for the city.

Frequently asked questions

How many candles will 1 kg of fragrance oil make?
At an 8% load calculated on the finished candle, 92 tins of 135 g (10.8 g each) or about 96 jars of 130 g (10.4 g each). Whatever the format, the kilo needs about 11.5 kg of wax alongside it, because the oil is always 8% of the finished weight and the wax is the other 92%. Pour smaller and the count climbs — 70 g votives take 5.6 g each — but the wax total stays almost identical, which is the figure to budget from.
Is buying 1 kg cheaper than buying two 500 g bottles?
On most of the shelf, no. Of the 72 oils listing both rungs in stock, 40 price them within ₹10 per kilogram of each other. On Honeydew Melon, Peach Melon Berry, Lemongrass and Lime and Raat Ki Rani the kilo costs exactly twice the 500 g. On Tangerine, Spicy Raspberry and Pink Crush the kilo is ₹1 dearer than two halves. The kilo's real advantage is against small bottles: ₹955.80 on Honeydew Melon and ₹700 on Lemongrass and Lime against ten 100 g.
What does 1 kg of candle fragrance oil cost in India?
At CSI in September 2026, in-stock kilos run from ₹2,832 to ₹24,056, and a 1 kg pack is listed on 87 of the 107 fragrance listings. Working examples from this page: Citrus Lemon ₹2,832, Honeydew Melon ₹3,398.40, Peach Melon Berry ₹4,177.20, Lemongrass and Lime ₹5,200, Spicy Raspberry ₹5,999, Raat Ki Rani ₹6,774, Pink Crush ₹8,899, Tangerine ₹11,999. Inside a 135 g tin at 8% that is ₹30.59 to ₹129.59 of fragrance per candle.
What has to be true before a scent deserves a kilo?
Five lines, all from your own records: two customers who asked for it by name, a written day-14 burn result for that exact wax-wick-vessel combination, a named block with a count and a date, the 500 g and 1 kg prices compared in writing, and the wax ordered in the same breath. If any one of the five is missing, buy 500 g — on 40 of 72 listings that is the same rate per gram, so waiting costs you nothing and keeps your options open.
How should I store an open kilo of fragrance oil in Vijayawada?
Capped hard, upright, out of direct sun, away from the hottest wall in the room and off a floor that has been rained on — and decanted into a small working bottle so the kilo itself is opened rarely. Write the purchase date on it and log the batches it goes into. What you should not do is put an expiry on it: no CSI fragrance page states a shelf life or storage temperature, so any date like that is invented. Instead, compare an older kilo against a fresh 15 g sample and one test candle before it goes into a paid order.
What if one order needs more than a kilo of the same scent?
Then it is multiple bottles, because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed anywhere in the range — there is no 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg bottle. A 150-tin Sankranti run in one scent needs 1,620 g, so a kilo plus a 500 g: ₹7,800 on Lemongrass and Lime, ₹10,161 on Raat Ki Rani. Price the multiplication yourself, then send the scent, the grams, the wax and your pour date to +91 7397976926. Nothing on this page predicts what a quote will say.

Figures verified September 2026: catalogue counts — 107 fragrance-oil listings, 96 with at least one pack in stock, 87 listing a 1 kg pack; 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack anywhere in the range. In-stock kilos run from ₹2,832 to ₹24,056. Rung comparison: 72 listings currently stock both a 500 g and a 1 kg pack; on 40 of those the two rungs are within ₹10 per kilogram of each other, on 30 the kilo is cheaper by ₹10 per kilogram or more, and on 2 the kilo is dearer by ₹10 per kilogram or more. Of the 86 listings stocking both a 100 g and a 1 kg, the kilo beats ten 100 g bottles on 52. Prices used — Citrus Lemon 100 gm ₹300, 500 gm ₹1,420, 1 kg ₹2,832; Honeydew Melon 15 gm ₹105.02, 50 gm ₹217.12, 100 gm ₹435.42, 500 gm ₹1,699.20, 1000 gm ₹3,398.40; Peach Melon Berry 15 gm ₹81.42, 50 gm ₹223.02, 100 gm ₹417.72, 500 gm ₹2,088.60, 1 kg ₹4,177.20; Lemongrass and Lime 15 gm ₹116.52, 50 gm ₹330, 100 gm ₹590, 500 gm ₹2,600, 1000 gm ₹5,200; Spicy Raspberry 50g ₹299, 100g ₹599, 500g ₹2,999, 1kg ₹5,999; Raat Ki Rani (Night-Blooming Jasmine) 15 gm ₹130, 50 gm ₹370, 100 gm ₹700, 500 gm ₹3,387, 1 kg ₹6,774; Pink Crush 50g ₹444, 100g ₹899, 500g ₹4,449, 1kg ₹8,899; Tangerine 15g ₹199, 50g ₹599, 100g ₹1,199, 500g ₹5,999, 1kg ₹11,999; Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40, 10 kg ₹5,074 (flat ₹507.40 a kilo); Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) ₹5.90 each at every pack from 10 to 1,000. Route arithmetic multiplies the listed pack price: 2 × 500 g, 10 × 100 g, 20 × 50 g. Candle arithmetic treats load as a percentage of the finished candle — a 135 g tin at 8% = 124.2 g wax + 10.8 g oil, a 130 g jar = 119.6 g + 10.4 g, a 70 g votive = 64.4 g + 5.6 g; 1 kg of oil at 8% therefore scents 92 tins of 135 g and requires 11.5 kg of wax (about ₹5,835 at CSI 464's flat rate). At a 10% load a 135 g tin takes 13.5 g and a kilo yields 74 candles instead of 92. Some pages express load as a percentage of wax weight instead, which is a different basis. Stated specifications as published: Lemongrass and Lime — recommended load 6–10% for candles, 10–15% for wax melts; Raat Ki Rani — 6–10% for candles, 10–15% for wax melts; Tangerine, Peach Melon Berry and Honeydew Melon — no load, cure time or flash point stated. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Block counts (150 Sankranti tins, 101 wedding favours, 120 Diwali tins, 200 Karthika votives, 80 Dussehra tins, 90 Christmas tins, 60 Ugadi tins) are worked illustrations, not published or forecast figures. Diwali 2026 is 8 November; no other festival date is stated. No shelf life, storage temperature, throw distance, room coverage, burn time, MOQ, lead time, courier or shipping rate is published by CSI, so none appears here.
