Buy 10 Kg Coffee Fragrance Oil for Candle Manufacturing
Aktie
What does 10 kg cost? Multiply the 1 kg price by ten. Roasted Coffee ₹37,380. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹85,990. Moca Coffee ₹112,000. Coffee Blast ₹128,000. Same weight, four prices, a ₹90,620 spread.
Does the price drop because I am buying 10 kg? Not on the website, no. The cart charges ten times the 1 kg price. CSI publishes no slab, no rate card, no MOQ and no credit term, so nothing on this page promises you a discount. At this volume, ask for a quote on WhatsApp and get an answer in writing before you commit.
How many candles does 10 kg make? At an 8% load in a 200 g candle — 16 g of oil each — 625 candles, which also needs 115 kg of wax, 625 vessels and 625 wicks.
What ten kilograms of coffee oil actually costs, four ways
Start with the honest correction, because it saves a phone call. CSI does not stock a 10 kg drum, jerry can or pack of fragrance oil. The largest published variant on any of the 92 oils in the Fragrance Oils collection is 1 kg. Order ten kilograms and you are ordering ten units of that variant; ten bottles is what arrives. There is no cheaper container, no industrial pack behind a login, and no price that appears once the quantity field says ten.
Which makes the arithmetic simple, and the result uncomfortable. Four coffee oils, one weight, four very different commitments:
| Oil | 1 kg price | Per gram | 10 kg = 10 × 1 kg | Against Roasted Coffee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roasted Coffee | ₹3,738.00 | ₹3.738 | ₹37,380 | — |
| Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | ₹8,599.00 | ₹8.599 | ₹85,990 | +₹48,610 · 2.30× |
| Moca Coffee | ₹11,200.00 | ₹11.20 | ₹112,000 | +₹74,620 · 3.00× |
| Coffee Blast | ₹12,800.00 | ₹12.80 | ₹128,000 | +₹90,620 · 3.42× |
Coffee has the widest internal spread of any scent family CSI stocks. Ouds run 2.65× from cheapest to dearest; the vanillas 1.89×, from Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80 to Coffee Vanilla Tobacco at ₹8,599. Coffee runs 3.42×, and both ends are genuine, in-stock coffee oils a customer would recognise from the label. At ten kilograms the choice of oil is therefore not one variable among many — it is the largest number on the purchase order by a distance, and it is settled before anything else can be.
The same decision, translated into unit cost and output
A manufacturer thinks in unit cost, not in kilograms. Take the standard CSI reference candle — 200 g finished weight at an 8% load, which is 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax, because fragrance percentage on CSI pages is of total candle weight, not of the wax. Sixteen grams of each coffee oil costs:
| Oil | 16 g at 1 kg pricing | Gap vs Roasted Coffee | Across 625 candles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roasted Coffee | ₹59.81 | — | ₹37,380 |
| Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | ₹137.58 | +₹77.78 | +₹48,610 |
| Moca Coffee | ₹179.20 | +₹119.39 | +₹74,620 |
| Coffee Blast | ₹204.80 | +₹144.99 | +₹90,620 |
The two halves of this page reconcile exactly, which is worth checking rather than trusting. Ten kilograms at 16 g a candle is 10,000 ÷ 16 = 625 candles. The per-candle gap is ₹204.80 − ₹59.808 = ₹144.992, and 625 × ₹144.992 = ₹90,620.00 — the same figure as ₹128,000 − ₹37,380, to the rupee, because 625 candles consume exactly ten kilograms with nothing left over. You are paying ₹145 more per candle, 625 times.
Whether that is a good trade is a question about your price list, not about the oil. If your coffee candle retails at ₹450, ₹204.80 of fragrance in it is a structural problem, not a premium ingredient. If it retails at ₹1,200 and the coffee note is why people buy it, ₹204.80 may be the best-spent ₹204.80 in the business. What is not defensible is arriving there without noticing — work it through how to price candles in India in 2026 first.
| Candle | 6% load | 8% load | 10% load | 13% load |

Bulk pricing will not rescue a ₹12,800 oil
This is the second finding on this page, and it runs against CSI's commercial interest because the honest version discourages the larger order. Coffee Blast and Moca Coffee have no volume discount at all. Coffee Blast is ₹12.80 per gram at 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Moca Coffee is ₹11.20 per gram at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Ten kilograms of either — ten 1 kg bottles rather than twenty 500 g bottles — saves exactly ₹0.
| Oil | 20 × 500 g | 10 × 1 kg | The kilogram saves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roasted Coffee | ₹37,800 | ₹37,380 | ₹420 (1.11%) |
| Coffee Vanilla Tobacco | ₹87,980 | ₹85,990 | ₹1,990 (2.26%) |
| Moca Coffee | ₹112,000 | ₹112,000 | ₹0 |
| Coffee Blast | ₹128,000 | ₹128,000 | ₹0 |
Roasted Coffee's kilogram does carry a break, and its size should be named: ₹42 per kilogram against two 500 g packs at ₹1,890 each, so about ₹420 across ten kilograms — 1.11% of the order. Coffee Vanilla Tobacco's ₹199 per kilogram gets you ₹1,990, or 2.26%. Set those against ₹90,620 and the proportions are plain: the pack question is worth 0% to 2.3% of the order; the oil question is worth 242% of the cheapest order.
So if you came here hoping manufacturing volume would bring a ₹12,800 oil within reach of a mass-market price list, it will not, and no published CSI figure suggests otherwise. The pattern holds across the catalogue: Sandalwood's kilogram saves exactly ₹0 against two 500 g packs and Jasmine's is ₹1 dearer. Across the 21 oils where both sizes exist the kilogram saves −₹1 to +₹499, or 0% to 6.7%. It is a convenience and batch-continuity purchase, not a discount — the longer version is in buy fragrance oils in bulk in India and the wholesale buyer's guide.
The total raw-material commitment, built twice
Ten kilograms of fragrance never arrives alone. At 8% in a 200 g candle, 625 candles need 625 × 184 g = 115 kg of wax, plus 625 vessels, 625 wicks and 625 of each sticker. Priced in real CSI pack sizes — no invented combinations — the wax line is Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 bought as eleven 10 kg packs at ₹5,074 plus one 5 kg pack at ₹2,537 = ₹58,351 for exactly 115 kg. On Luxury Soy Wax Chunks the same eleven-plus-one combination is ₹68,984. CSI 464 is used below because its 10% ceiling comfortably covers an 8% load.
| Line | Quantity & unit price | On Roasted Coffee | On Coffee Blast |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fragrance oil | 10 kg as 10 × 1 kg bottles | ₹37,380.00 · 30.6% | ₹128,000.00 · 60.2% |
| Wax — CSI 464 | 115 kg · 11 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg | ₹58,351.00 · 47.8% | ₹58,351.00 · 27.4% |
| Vessels — 200 ml salsa jar | 625 at ₹29.50 (₹2,950 per 100) | ₹18,437.50 · 15.1% | ₹18,437.50 · 8.7% |
| Wicks — Eco Thick (C2) | 625 at ₹9.44 (₹4,720 per 500) | ₹5,900.00 · 4.8% | ₹5,900.00 · 2.8% |
| Wick stickers | 625 at ₹2.50 (₹100 per 40) | ₹1,562.50 · 1.3% | ₹1,562.50 · 0.7% |
| Candle care stickers | 625 at ₹0.70 (₹699 per 1,000) | ₹437.50 · 0.4% | ₹437.50 · 0.2% |
| Total raw materials | 625 finished 200 g candles | ₹122,068.50 | ₹212,688.50 |
| Per candle | before labour, packaging, freight, GST | ₹195.31 | ₹340.30 |
Read the two percentage columns against each other, because that is the finding. On the Roasted Coffee build, fragrance is 30.6% of the bill and wax is the largest line at 47.8% — the shape most Indian candle manufacturers expect and the shape their costing sheets assume. On the Coffee Blast build it inverts. Fragrance becomes 60.2%, and at ₹128,000 it exceeds wax, vessels, wicks and both stickers combined — ₹84,688.50 — by ₹43,311.50: 1.51 times the whole rest of the bill and 2.19 times the wax. That is not a candle business buying fragrance. It is a fragrance purchase with a candle attached.
The per-candle line is the one to take to a pricing meeting. ₹195.31 against ₹340.30 in raw materials alone, before labour, secondary packaging, freight or GST. The ₹144.99 difference is exactly the fragrance gap above, because every other line is identical — which shows how little else is worth renegotiating. Halving your wick cost saves ₹4.72 a candle. Moving from Coffee Blast to Roasted Coffee saves ₹144.99.
Ten bottles, ten batch codes — and what that means on a dark roast
Because there is no 10 kg container, ten kilograms arrives as ten sealed 1 kg bottles, and those bottles are not guaranteed to come from one production batch. On a light citrus that rarely matters. On a dark, roasted, heavily-bodied coffee note it can: roast and burnt-sugar characters are exactly where a small shift in strength or in the smoky top is noticeable to a repeat customer. You are not looking for a fault. You are looking for drift.
On storage: keep the bottles sealed and upright, out of direct sunlight, away from heat and away from the melting bench, in their original containers with the labels legible. Decanting into unlabelled jars is how a batch trace is lost. CSI publishes no shelf-life figure for fragrance oils, so this page will not invent one — not a number of months, not a "best before", not a rule of thumb. If your decision depends on how long ten kilograms keeps, ask for batch documentation with your quote on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 and get MSDS and IFRA paperwork for that oil in writing.
Turnover, working capital and the seven things that must be true first
Ten kilograms of one scent is a stock decision as much as a purchasing one. The arithmetic below is editorial judgement, not CSI policy — CSI publishes no turnover guidance and no shelf-life figure, so read it as one supplier's view of sensible practice. At 16 g a candle, clearing ten kilograms inside six months means about 1.67 kg of oil a month, or roughly 104 candles of 200 g a month in that one scent; inside three months, about 208 a month. If your coffee line sells forty candles a month, ten kilograms is over a year of stock in a single fragrance — a narrower bet than most makers realise.
Then the capital question, where the two ends of this page stop being the same decision. ₹37,380 in one fragrance and ₹128,000 in one fragrance are different kinds of commitment, not one commitment at two sizes. ₹37,380 survives a slow quarter. ₹128,000 in ten bottles of an unproven oil forces the price list rather than following it, and a price list set by inventory instead of by market is how a candle business quietly stops being profitable. Defend the larger number with sell-through of coffee candles you have already sold, not with the margin you hope a premium oil will justify. The sober version is in is candle making actually profitable in India in 2026 and scaling to 1,000 orders a month.
| # | Must be true | How you know it is |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A locked formulation at a stated load | Written as a percentage and in grams — 8% and 16 g in a 200 g candle — not "about a capful" |
| 2 | A wax whose stated ceiling covers that load | CSI 464 up to 10%, Luxury Soy Chunks up to 13%. A 13% formulation cannot run on CSI 464 |
| 3 | A wick tested in the actual vessel | Three test burns per jar size, full melt pool at the wall in two to three hours, no soot |
| 4 | A vessel you can resupply in quantity | In stock in 50s or 100s today, and the fill weight physically checked, not assumed |
| 5 | Somewhere to store ten sealed bottles | Cool, dark, upright, away from the melting bench, labels intact |
| 6 | A batch-record habit that already exists | You can produce last month's batch sheets right now, without reconstructing them |
| 7 | Demand for a coffee line specifically | Coffee candles you have already sold, in numbers, not a hunch that coffee will do well |
One last framing. Coffee is not an expensive family by definition: Roasted Coffee at ₹3.738 per gram sits near the cheap end of all 92 oils, close to Citrus Lemon at ₹2.832 and British Rose at ₹3.068, the cheapest per gram in the catalogue. What makes coffee hard to budget is the spread — 3.42× from one end of one family to the other, both ends wearing the word "coffee" on the label. Decide which coffee you are, in writing, and the ten-kilogram question answers itself. Wider comparison: premium vs cheap fragrance oils and how much fragrance oil a candle business needs.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. On a page titled "buy 10 kg", the commercially convenient move would be to describe a 10 kg pack and imply a bulk rate. We have done neither, because neither exists. A manufacturer who learns that from an invoice rather than from us does not place a second order.
Every rupee figure here is a live CSI variant price pulled in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. The 10 kg figures are stated multiplications of the 1 kg price, labelled as such throughout. The 10% and 13% ceilings are the wax manufacturers' stated maximum loads for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks — formulation limits describing how much oil each wax holds in solution, not regulatory limits, and not interchangeable between waxes. CSI publishes no slab, rate card, minimum order quantity, credit term, delivery time or shelf-life figure for fragrance oils, and this page states none.
