Candle Business Guides · Visakhapatnam × Supplier
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA has no counter, no stockist and no warehouse in Visakhapatnam. What it has is a catalogue that publishes a discolouration position on 62 of its 107 fragrance-oil pages — and that one column decides more for a coastal maker than any promise a salesman could make.
62 of 107
fragrance-oil pages that state a vanillin or discolouration position in writing · 18 of them give a vanillin number · 0 pages state a shelf life or a storage rule · oils from ₹68.44 for 15 g · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Is there a candle fragrance oil supplier in Visakhapatnam? Not CSI. There is no CSI shop, agent, stockist or warehouse in the city. CSI is an online raw-material supplier that ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp. That is the whole of the claim, and nothing on this page will stretch it into a delivery date.

What can a Vizag maker actually buy? 105 fragrance-oil listings, 95 with at least one pack in stock, in 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg — plus wax, wicks, vessels, dyes and tools, so one parcel can carry a whole shelf instead of four.

What should a coastal maker read first on a product page? The discolouration line, then the stated load. Seven pages state "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax"; four more state "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)". In a city where white and pastel candles sell year-round, that column is the buying decision.

What does CSI never publish? Delivery days, shipping rates, a local stockist, a shelf life, a storage rule, a lab report or an MOQ. Zero of 107 pages state a shelf life or storage instruction. Documentation and bulk pricing are handled on WhatsApp, on request.
The short answer
Judge the pages, not the promise: a supplier you cannot walk into is only as good as the fields it publishes. Read the stated load, the stated cure, the discolouration line and the flash point — and treat every blank as a test you have to run yourself.
Buy the whole shelf in one parcel: fragrance, wax, wicks, vessels, dye and a thermometer are all listed, so a first Visakhapatnam order can come from six shelves at once. The cheapest workable entry to each of those six comes to ₹1,579.
Let the coast choose the oil, not the season: Vizag has no genuinely cold stretch, so candles sit warm and humid for most of the year. Start with oils whose pages state 0% vanillin and a soy load, and keep white wax white.
One parcel, six shelves — the cheapest in-stock entry that actually does the job Candle wax ₹399 · Eco Soy CSI 400, 1 kg Tools ₹354 · Pen Thermometer Vessels ₹318.60 · ten 70 g votive jars Dye ₹236 · liquid candle dye, 15 g Fragrance oil ₹212.40 · Eucalyptus Spearmint, 50 g Wicks ₹59 · ten Eco Candle Wicks, Thin (C1) Six shelves, one parcel ₹1,579 — and the fragrance is the second-cheapest line on it
Bar length is rupees. The point of the picture is the order of the bars: for a maker in Visakhapatnam the fragrance oil is not the expensive part of a first parcel — the wax, the instrument and the glass are. Anyone who tells you fragrance is what makes candles expensive has not costed a jar. Figures are the cheapest in-stock variant on each shelf, CSI live pricing, September 2026.
Straight answer
Can a national online supplier really serve a candle maker in Visakhapatnam — and how would you know?
Yes, on terms you can check before you spend anything. CSI ships across India and quotes bulk on WhatsApp; it has no branch, agent or stockist in Visakhapatnam, publishes no delivery date and no shipping rate, and this guide will not invent either. What it does publish is the part that matters at 800-odd kilometres: 105 fragrance-oil listings, 95 with at least one pack in stock, sold in five sizes from a ₹68.44 15 g trial to a 1 kg bottle, which is the largest fragrance pack listed. Of the 107 saved fragrance pages, 81 state a candle or usage percentage, 88 state a full top–heart–base pyramid, 62 state a vanillin or discolouration position and 18 state a measured flash point as a number. Zero state a shelf life, a storage rule, a lab report or an MOQ. For a coastal maker that ranking is useful rather than disappointing: the fields that survive the journey are exactly the ones that predict how a candle behaves in warm, humid, salt-laden air. Start with three oils whose pages state 0% vanillin — Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹212.40 for 50 g, Jasmine at ₹230 and Blue Ocean at ₹247 — put them on a container wax with a stated ceiling such as Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 at ₹507.40 a kilo, and pour ten 70 g votives. Materials for that whole first parcel come to ₹1,674.40, or ₹2,382.40 with a thermometer and a scale you will use for every batch afterwards.
One line: there is no CSI counter in Visakhapatnam, so read the published fields, buy one parcel that covers six shelves, and let your own burn test settle everything the pages leave blank.
Starting a shelf in Vizag? Eucalyptus Spearmint 50 g at ₹212.40, Jasmine 50 g at ₹230, Blue Ocean 50 g at ₹247 — three stated-0%-vanillin oils, one parcel, one supplier.

What a supplier with nothing local can honestly be

Visakhapatnam has spent a century receiving goods it could not inspect before they arrived. The instrument for that is not trust. It is a manifest.

Every trade in this city runs on paperwork that describes a thing you have not yet seen: a bill of lading, a packing list, a spec sheet, a test certificate. Nobody in the port takes delivery on the strength of a phone call. That habit is exactly the right one to bring to buying candle raw material online, and it is the reason a supplier without a shop here is not automatically a worse supplier. It is a supplier whose whole case has to be written down and read twice.

So here is the case, stated plainly. CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA is an online raw-material supplier — wax, fragrance oils, wicks, jars, moulds, dyes, additives and equipment. It does not sell finished candles and it is not a manufacturer of wax or fragrance oil. It ships across India and handles bulk pricing, GST invoicing and documentation requests on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. That is the entire shipping and service claim, and it is deliberately short.

Manifest, not promise · what a Visakhapatnam buyer can and cannot be told
The questions a coastal buyer asks, and which of them actually has a published answer
What you want to know Is it published? What you get instead
Is there a shop, stockist or agent in Visakhapatnam? No — because there is none An online catalogue that ships across India, and a WhatsApp line for bulk
When will my parcel reach Vizag, and what will carriage cost? No Nothing. No delivery window, no courier name and no rate appears anywhere on this page — plan your own buffer
What fragrance load does this oil take? Yes, on 81 of 107 pages A stated candle percentage per oil; the wax page states its own ceiling, and the lower of the two governs
Will it yellow my white wax? Yes, on 62 of 107 pages A vanillin or discolouration statement; 18 give a vanillin number
What is the flash point? Partly — 18 of 107 give a measured value 32 more give only the shared "> 93°C" threshold line, which is not a measured number
How long will the oil keep in my cupboard? No — zero of 107 pages No shelf life, no expiry, no storage temperature. Buy quantities you will pour
Is there a minimum order? No MOQ is published A 15 g trial is listed on 54 oils, so the floor is whatever the smallest listed pack costs
Can I have an SDS or IFRA documentation? Not on the page Only 2 of 107 pages mention an SDS at all; documentation is requested on WhatsApp
The mistake: waiting for a candle-supply lane to open near Jagadamba or on Beach Road. Vizag supports steel, port services, pharma, IT campuses and a genuine tourist trade, and none of those creates a specialist counter for soy wax and perfumery-grade fragrance oil. Makers here have been buying online for years — the useful version of the question is not "where is the shop" but "which fields does the catalogue publish, and what do I have to test myself". If you also want the wider raw-material picture for the city, the store's own guide to buying candle making raw materials in Visakhapatnam covers the non-fragrance shelves.

One parcel, six shelves

The single biggest advantage of a national supplier over a hypothetical local one is not price. It is that one order can cover every shelf a candle needs. A maker who buys wax from one seller, wicks from a second, jars from a third and fragrance from a fourth ends up with four parcels, four sets of variables and no way to tell which supplier caused the tunnelling. The table below is the shopping list version of the diagram above: what CSI lists on each shelf, the cheapest in-stock entry that will genuinely do the job, and — just as importantly — what is not there.

Six shelves in one parcel · CSI live pricing, September 2026
What each shelf holds, the cheapest workable entry, and the gap on it
Shelf Cheapest in-stock entry that works Price Why a Vizag maker needs it Named gap
Fragrance oils · 105 listings Eucalyptus Spearmint, 50 g ₹212.40 Two scents beat one: you cannot judge a shelf with a single bottle 1 kg is the largest pack; no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack exists
Candle wax · 15 listings Eco Soy CSI 400, 1 kg ₹399 The oil is useless without the wax whose ceiling governs your load No 25 kg or 100 kg soy pack; 5 kg is this wax's largest listed pack
Candle wicks · 8 listings Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1), 10 ₹59 Wick size is the variable most first coastal tests get wrong No pre-tabbed wick is listed; the ready-made cotton and Eco wicks are the closest
Containers · 78 listings Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram, 10 ₹318.60 Glass is the least weather-sensitive vessel on a humid coast Most jars state capacity in ml, not grams — weigh one filled jar
Candle dyes · 26 listings Candle Dye Liquid · Blue, 15 g ₹236 Coastal ranges lean pale; a concentrated liquid dye is how you stay pale on purpose No 1 kg dye pack is listed; 100 g is the largest on this dye
Accessories & tools · 32 listings Pen Thermometer ₹354 Add and pour temperatures are the recipe; on a warm coast guessing them fails faster No candle-making machine — no moulding, filling or wicking equipment is listed
One parcel, six shelves ₹1,579 Everything a first controlled batch needs, from one supplier Add ₹354 for a scale and ₹100 for wick stickers to make it repeatable
Use the collection pages as your stock list
The Fragrance Oils collection is the live inventory, not a brochure: a listing that is there but unbuyable at your size shows as sold out at the variant, not at the listing. Ten of the 105 fragrance listings currently have nothing in stock at all, and plenty of others are missing one rung. Before you build a shopping list of six scents, open each one and check the size you intend to buy — a shortlist assembled from listing titles alone will collapse at checkout. For the wider view of how the range is structured, see where to buy candle fragrance oils in India.

The column a coastal shelf is decided by

Ask a maker in a cool, dry city which published field matters most and they will usually say the load, or the flash point. On this coast the honest answer is the discolouration line. Visakhapatnam has no long cold stretch: a finished candle sits warm and humid in a carton, a shop window or a hotel room for most of its shelf life, and a vanillin-heavy oil in a white wax will drift towards cream and then towards tan while it does. Nothing about that is unsafe. It is simply the difference between a range that photographs the way you designed it and one that does not.

CSI publishes that column more consistently than almost anything else. 62 of 107 pages make a vanillin or discolouration statement; 18 state a numeric vanillin content; six state vanillin as "Present" with no number. Thirty-two pages carry an "Important - Discoloration" block that names the notes responsible, and seven state outright that the oil "will cause browning in white or light-coloured wax and soap bases over time". That last sentence is a supplier telling you something inconvenient in writing, which is the most useful thing a distant supplier can do.

The 0% vanillin group · stated on the product page · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Seven oils whose pages state no discolouration in wax, with what the fragrance costs inside a 70 g votive
Oil Stated vanillin / discolouration Stated candle load Cheapest in-stock per gram Oil in a 70 g votive at 8%
Eucalyptus Spearmint "No vanillin - zero risk of discoloration" Up to 10% soy · up to 6% paraffin ₹3.068 (1 kg) ₹17.18
British Rose "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax" Stated on the page ₹3.068 (1 kg) ₹17.18
Zesty Lemon "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax" Up to 10% soy · 8–10% recommended ₹3.40 (1 kg) ₹19.04
Jasmine Fragrance Oil "0% vanillin - no discolouration" Up to 10% soy · up to 6% paraffin ₹3.922 (500 g) ₹21.96
Blue Ocean "0% vanillin - no discolouration" Up to 10% soy, paraffin and natural blends ₹4.94 (50 g) ₹27.66
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil "0% vanillin - no discolouration" Stated on the page ₹5.0268 (100 g) ₹28.15
Vetiver Fragrance Oil "0% vanillin - no discolouration" Stated on the page ₹5.80 (500 g — 1 kg is sold out) ₹32.48
Worked out above: oil in a 70 g votive at an 8% load = 5.6 g, because load is a share of the finished candle (70 g = 64.4 g wax + 5.6 g oil). Cheapest in-stock per gram × 5.6: Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3.068 × 5.6 = ₹17.18 · British Rose ₹3.068 = ₹17.18 · Zesty Lemon ₹3.40 = ₹19.04 · Jasmine ₹3.922 = ₹21.96 · Blue Ocean ₹4.94 = ₹27.66 · Sandalwood ₹5.0268 = ₹28.15 · Vetiver ₹5.80 = ₹32.48. Four further pages state "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)": Cinnamon, Neroli, Palo Santo and Sage and Cedarwood.
Don't turn a "> 93°C" line into a heat rule. Thirty-two fragrance pages carry the same threshold sentence — "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" — and it is a category statement about alcohol formats, not a measured value for that oil. Only 18 pages give an actual number, and the numbers themselves span a genuinely wide range: 85°C on Neroli, 98°C on Gardenia, 143°C on Blue Ocean, 203°C on Vanilla Bean and Sandalwood, 206°C on Vetiver. Fifty-six pages say nothing at all, and a blank must never be filled in from a similar scent. What you do instead is follow the wax page's stated add temperature, keep your thermometer in the melt, and ask for the SDS on WhatsApp if you need a documented figure. The reasoning behind add temperatures is set out in best temperature for adding fragrance oil to soy wax.

Three oils that publish enough for a first coastal shelf

These three are not "the best oils". They are the three that let a maker in Visakhapatnam start from published numbers rather than guesswork: each states a soy load, each states a cure window, each states a measured flash point as a number, and each states that it will not yellow white wax. Together they cover a bright end, a floral end and a marine end — the three registers a coastal range actually sells in.

1
Fresh · cheapest trial on the shelf
Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Oil
The least expensive way to start reading this catalogue properly: a 15 g trial at ₹68.44, which is the lowest trial price in the whole fragrance range. Its page states a recommended load of up to 10% for soy wax and up to 6% for paraffin, a cure of 48–72 hours for soy and 24–48 hours for paraffin, a measured flash point of 199°C and no vanillin — zero risk of discoloration. For a Vizag maker that combination is close to ideal for a first pour: crisp, clean, obviously suited to bathrooms, clinics and hotel rooms, and safe in a white or pale wax that will sit in humid air for weeks.

50 gm ₹212.40 ₹424.80 ≈8

500 gm ₹1,652 ₹330.40 ≈89
1 kg ₹3,068 ₹306.80 ≈178

2
Floral · the register coastal Andhra already buys
Jasmine Fragrance Oil
Jasmine is not an imported idea in this part of the country — it is sold by the arm's length outside every temple and every railway station, and a candle that smells of it needs no explaining to a customer in Visakhapatnam. The page states up to 10% for soy wax with a 48–72 hour cure, up to 6% for paraffin with a 24–48 hour cure, up to 12% in wax melts, a measured flash point of 185°C and 0% vanillin — no discolouration. It is a single-note page rather than a three-tier pyramid, which is true of 14 listings in the range and is worth knowing before you go looking for top notes that were never published. One CSI customer, S.A., wrote simply: "Hey, the fragrance is so nice."
Size Price Per 100g 70g votives @ 8%
15 gm ₹103 ₹686.67 ≈2
50 gm ₹230 ₹460 ≈8

3
Marine · the one a beach city can sell without a story
Blue Ocean Fragrance Oil
A Vizag range that ignores the sea is leaving the easiest sale on the table. Blue Ocean's page states sea salt and ozone top notes, jasmine and lily of the valley at the heart, driftwood and musk at the base, a load of up to 10% for soy, paraffin and natural wax blends, a cure of 48–72 hours, a measured flash point of 143°C (290°F) and 0% vanillin — no discolouration. Read the size table below carefully, because this oil is one of the range's flat ladders: the 50 g bottle is the cheapest per gram at ₹4.94, and the 500 g and 1 kg bottles are fractionally dearer per gram, not cheaper. The 15 g trial is currently sold out, so 50 g is the entry. Sooraj R's published review is two words long — "Good fragrance" — which is about as much as any review can tell you; your own burn test is the rest.
Size Price Per 100g 70g votives @ 8%
15 gm (sold out) ₹93.22 ₹621.47 ≈2
50 gm ₹247 ₹494 ≈8
100 gm ₹495 ₹495 ≈17
500 gm ₹2,478 ₹495.60 ≈89
1 kg ₹4,956 ₹495.60 ≈178
₹27.66 of fragrance in a 70 g votive at the 50 g rung — the cheapest rung on this oil Buy Blue Ocean
Don't assume the big bottle is the cheap bottle. Blue Ocean is the clean example: ₹4.94 a gram at 50 g, ₹4.95 at 100 g and ₹4.956 at both 500 g and 1 kg. Wild Berries behaves the same way, and on Saffron Cedarwood the gap is not rounding at all — 500 g lists at ₹2,584.20 and 1 kg at ₹6,867.60, so two 500 g packs cost ₹5,168.40 against ₹6,867.60 for the single kilo. The ladder is a per-oil fact, never a policy, and the product page is always the authority. Read the column before you click.

The costed first Visakhapatnam parcel

Here is the parcel those three oils belong in. It is built around ten 70 g votives rather than five big jars, for the same reason a lab runs small samples: ten small candles across three scents and one wick size tell you three things, while five big ones tell you one. Seventy grams is also the size that sells hardest in a city with beach-facing hotels, temple footfall and a heavy gifting calendar — small, cheap enough to buy on impulse, and light enough to carry home.

First Visakhapatnam parcel · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Every line, what it costs, and what it is in the parcel to prove
Line Pack Price What it is for
Eucalyptus Spearmint 50 gm ₹212.40 Scent A — four votives need 22.4 g
Jasmine Fragrance Oil 50 gm ₹230 Scent B — three votives need 16.8 g
Blue Ocean 50 gm ₹247 Scent C — three votives need 16.8 g
Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40 Ten votives need 644 g; the page states a ceiling of up to 10%
Eco Candle Wicks · Thin (C1) 10 wicks ₹59 One per votive, flat at ₹5.90 each at every pack size
Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram Pack of 10 ₹318.60 Ten vessels stated at a 70 gram fill, ₹31.86 each
Candle Wick Stickers 1 sheet · 40 ₹100 Centres the wick so the wick is not an accidental variable
Materials subtotal ₹1,674.40 What the test itself consumes
Pen Thermometer 1 ₹354 Add and pour temperatures are part of the recipe, not a detail
Candle Making Weighing Scale 1 ₹354 Load is a weight percentage — weigh, never estimate
Parcel total ₹2,382.40 The two instruments are bought once and used for every batch after

The number worth carrying forward is the per-candle one. A Eucalyptus Spearmint votive from this parcel costs ₹96.73 in materials: 64.4 g of CSI 464 at ₹0.5074 a gram is ₹32.68, 5.6 g of oil at the 50 g rung's ₹4.248 a gram is ₹23.79, the wick is ₹5.90, the jar ₹31.86 and the sticker ₹2.50. Swap in Jasmine and it is ₹98.70; Blue Ocean, ₹100.60. Notice what dominates: the glass and the wax together are ₹64.54 of it, two-thirds of the candle, before a drop of fragrance goes in. That is the arithmetic that should shape a first Vizag order, and it is the reason buying a 15 g trial of six different oils is the wrong first move — you end up with six scents you cannot pour and no vessels to pour them into.

The CSI principle
A supplier you cannot visit is a manifest, not a relationship. Read it like a packing list: line, quantity, specification, gap.
Every field on a product page is a claim you can hold the supplier to. Every blank is a test you have agreed to run yourself. A maker who knows which is which can buy from 800 kilometres away with more confidence than someone standing in a shop being told a scent is "very strong".

What a coastal year does to oil, wax and finished candles

Most Indian candle cities get one hard season. Visakhapatnam gets three, and the easy one is only about eight weeks long.

What follows is general material behaviour that any maker can verify in their own workshop, not a set of statistics about the city. No temperature or humidity figure here is presented as a measurement of Visakhapatnam, and where a number is a planning assumption it says so. The point is that a coastal workshop has to change different things at different times of year, and knowing which is most of the skill.

The working year on the coast · general material behaviour, not local statistics
What each stretch does to stored oil, to the pour and to a finished candle — and the one thing to change
Stretch What you will actually see The one thing to change
March to May · hot and increasingly humid Soy softens in the carton; container tops look wet or greasy; finished candles slump if stacked; cold throw lifts and burns run faster Pour early in the morning and stop stacking. Cartons off the floor, single layer, lids on
June to September · the south-west monsoon The wettest working stretch: condensation on cool glass the moment it comes out of a cupboard, labels lifting at the edges, metal parts — wick tabs, tins, tools — showing it first Wipe and warm every jar before pouring. Wet glass is the commonest cause of a wet-spot complaint
October to December · the north-east monsoon and the Bay of Bengal storm season Heavy rain arrives on this coast late in the year, and power can be interrupted. A melter halfway through 10 kg of wax is a real risk, and so is a cured batch sitting in a damp store Split big pours into two, and never leave a batch curing in a store you have not opened for a week. This is also the Diwali and Karthika window
January to February · the one cool, dry stretch The best pouring and curing weeks of the year: cleaner tops, better adhesion, slower and more even cure. A recipe proven only here will behave differently in May Use it to build stock and to re-test your bestsellers. Log the ambient conditions so you can tell later why the burn changed
All year · salt-laden air near the coast Bare metal is the part of a candle that shows a humid, salty atmosphere first. Glass, ceramic and sealed cartons do not care; exposed tin lids, tabs and uncoated tools do Choose glass for retail lines, keep metal components in a closed box, and dry every tool before it goes away
Two habits that cost nothing and fix most of it
First, keep every fragrance bottle closed and upright, and weigh out of it rather than pouring from it — not because CSI states a storage rule (no page does, and none should be invented) but because a cap opened forty times in a humid month is a cap that stops sealing. Second, write the ambient conditions on the batch log: month, whether it rained, whether the fan was on. When a candle that passed in January soots in June, that one line is the difference between a diagnosis and a guess. The seasonal side of throw is covered in best candle scents for summer in India.
Past the test stage? 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists — Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹3,068, Jasmine at ₹3,923, Blue Ocean at ₹4,956. For recurring volumes above that, bulk pricing, GST invoicing and documentation are handled on WhatsApp.

Sankranti to Karthika Masam: the calendar that sets a Vizag order

Here is the single biggest difference between planning a candle year in coastal Andhra and planning one almost anywhere else in India: the lamp season does not end on Diwali. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November, and in Telugu households the month that begins immediately afterwards — Karthika Masam — is itself a lamp-lighting month, with Karthika Somavaram observed week after week and Karthika Purnima closing it. A brand that plans its whole festive buy around one date in November will run out of stock in the fortnight that follows, which is exactly when demand for small votives is still live.

The Visakhapatnam ordering year · festivals named without inventing their dates
What each window sells, and what a fragrance shelf should be holding before it
Window What drives it What the shelf needs
January Sankranti and Bhogi — the largest household festival of the Telugu year, with cleaning, gifting and full houses Bright and clean registers. Buy in December, while the weather is still the best of the year for curing
March to April Ugadi, the Telugu new year, followed by Sri Rama Navami Fresh florals and citrus. Pour before the May heat arrives, not during it
August to September Varalakshmi Vratam and Vinayaka Chaturthi; the wettest weeks of the working year Traditional florals — jasmine, sandalwood, tuberose registers. Watch condensation, not the calendar
Late September to October Dasara, and the start of the corporate gifting enquiry season for port, steel, pharma and IT employers Gift-set scents and any premium line. Samples out early, because a gifting buyer decides weeks before they order
8 November 2026 Diwali Your largest single stock position of the year — and not your last
The weeks after Diwali Karthika Masam — a full lamp month, Karthika Somavaram weekly, closing at Karthika Purnima Small votives and tealight-scale candles, in depth. This is the window most non-local brands miss entirely
December Christmas, which has a real and long-standing constituency in coastal Andhra, plus year-end corporate despatch Warm spice and resinous registers, and white candles that have stayed white
November to February Wedding season, including beach and resort weddings on this coast Favour-sized candles in volume, one scent, repeatable. Quote from a costed unit, never from a guess
Don't treat Diwali and Karthika as one purchase. They are four to six weeks apart and they sell different things: Diwali pulls gift sets, boxed pairs and larger jars; the Karthika weeks pull small, cheap, repeat-bought votives and tealight-scale candles. A single order sized for 8 November leaves you choosing, in the third week of November, between disappointing customers and paying for an emergency top-up. Size the Diwali order on gift sets and place a second, votive-heavy order for the Karthika weeks at the same time — one parcel, two purposes. The planning method generalises: see how early candle brands should order fragrance oils for Diwali and how to plan fragrance inventory before the festive season.

How a maker in Visakhapatnam actually orders

Five steps, in the order that keeps you out of trouble. None of them involves asking when the parcel will arrive, because that is not a question this page can answer — build your own buffer instead and place orders earlier than feels necessary.

1
Decide the candle before the scentSize, vessel and price point first. A 70 g votive at a temple-adjacent price and a 200 g jar for a hotel are different businesses with different wax, wick and fragrance budgets. Write down the finished weight — everything below is arithmetic on that one number.
2
Read four fields on each candidate oil, in this orderStated candle load · stated cure · discolouration or vanillin position · flash point, and only if it is a number rather than the shared "> 93°C" line. Then check the variant you want is in stock, not just the listing. Four fields and a stock check take two minutes and remove most first-order regret.
3
Take the lower of the two ceilingsThe oil states one maximum and the wax states another. CSI 464 states up to 10%; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks state 8–13% with 10% recommended. Pour your first batch at 8% regardless, so that every oil is being compared on the same terms and none is at the edge of its stated window.
4
Buy one parcel that covers all six shelvesFragrance, wax, wicks, vessels, a dye if your range is coloured, and the two instruments. Splitting the order across suppliers to save a hundred rupees costs you the ability to attribute a failure, which is worth far more at this stage. Screenshot the cart with the variant names visible before you pay.
5
Open the parcel like a goods receipt, then cure properlyCheck every variant against your screenshot, weigh one bottle and one bag, and photograph anything damaged before you move it. Then pour, cure with lids on in a closed carton — the stated cure on these three oils is 48–72 hours, and 14 to 21 days is standard practice for soy containers — and burn-test on a day you have written down. For bulk pricing, GST invoicing or an SDS, message WhatsApp with the exact product name.
A port city does not trust a handshake more than a document. Neither should a candle maker buying fragrance from 800 kilometres away.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and has nothing physical in Visakhapatnam. It would be easy to write "serving Visakhapatnam" and imply a local presence — a hub, a rate, a two-day promise. There is none, and inventing one would be the fastest way to lose a maker who then waited for a parcel that was never promised. What is real is a catalogue that ships across India and a WhatsApp line for bulk, and the honest version of this page is a list of published fields plus a list of gaps.

Every price, pack size, stated load, stated cure, stated vanillin position and flash point on this page is taken from live CSI stock and product pages in September 2026, and the linked product page always takes precedence. Counts — 105 fragrance-oil listings, 95 with at least one pack in stock, 81 of 107 pages stating a candle percentage, 88 stating a full note pyramid, 62 stating a vanillin or discolouration position, 18 stating a measured flash point, zero stating a shelf life or a storage rule — are counts of those pages, not claims about performance. Stated fragrance loads are formulation guidance, not regulatory limits, and IFRA wording on a page is a framework reference, not a certificate in your hand.

For bulk pricing, GST invoicing, MSDS or IFRA documentation on a named oil, message +91 7397976926 on WhatsApp with the product name and the quantity you need. Nothing on this page states what a quote will be, because a quote is a conversation and not a published price.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a candle fragrance oil shop or dealer in Visakhapatnam?
Not a CSI one. There is no CSI shop, dealer, agent, stockist or warehouse in Visakhapatnam, and this page makes no claim about any other seller in the city. CSI is an online supplier that ships across India and quotes bulk on WhatsApp. What replaces a counter is a catalogue that publishes stated loads, cure windows, note structures, vanillin positions and — on 18 oils — a measured flash point, so that a maker can do the reading a shop visit would otherwise do.
How many fragrance oils can a Vizag maker actually buy today, and in what sizes?
There are 105 fragrance-oil listings in the live catalogue and 95 have at least one pack in stock. The sizes are 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and coverage is uneven: 91 listings have the 100 g bottle in stock, 86 the 1 kg, 78 the 50 g, 74 the 500 g and only 49 the 15 g trial. Forty-eight listings have all five rungs in stock at once. One kilogram is the largest fragrance pack listed — there is no 5 kg or 10 kg bottle.
Which fragrance oils are least likely to yellow a white candle in a humid coastal store?
Start with the pages that state a zero. Seven state "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax" — Eucalyptus Spearmint, British Rose, Zesty Lemon, Jasmine, Blue Ocean, Sandalwood and Vetiver — and four more state "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)": Cinnamon, Neroli, Palo Santo and Sage and Cedarwood. Seven other pages state the opposite plainly, warning that the oil will cause browning in white or light-coloured wax over time. Both kinds of statement are useful; only a blank is a problem.
How long will fragrance oil keep in a Visakhapatnam workshop?
No CSI page states a shelf life, an expiry date or a storage instruction — zero of 107 pages — so any figure you read anywhere claiming one for these oils is not from the supplier. The honest answer is a buying rule rather than a number: buy the quantity you will actually pour. On a coast with no long cool season, a 1 kg bottle bought for one 100-candle order and then opened forty times over eight months is a worse purchase than two 500 g bottles bought when each order is signed.
Does the weather in Visakhapatnam really change how I should make candles?
It changes when and how, not the recipe. Warm, humid air makes soy softer in the carton and makes condensation on cool glass the commonest cause of wet spots; the wettest stretch runs with the south-west monsoon and heavy rain returns late in the year. Bare metal parts — wick tabs, tins, tools — show a salty atmosphere before anything else does. January and February are the best weeks of the year for pouring and curing, which also means a recipe proven only then needs re-testing in May.
Can I get a GST invoice, an SDS or IFRA documentation for a named oil?
Ask on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 with the exact product name. Bulk pricing, GST invoicing and MSDS or IFRA documentation requests are handled there, not on the product page — only 2 of 107 fragrance pages mention an SDS at all, and no page publishes a certificate number, an IFRA amendment or category, a lab report or a CAS list. Where a page uses IFRA wording it is describing a framework, and nothing on this site should be read as a certificate you already hold.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. CSI has no shop, stockist, agent or warehouse in Visakhapatnam; it ships across India and handles bulk enquiries on WhatsApp. No delivery time, courier, shipping rate, local stock position or customer count for the city is stated anywhere on this page, because none is published. Climate and seasonal notes describe general material behaviour that a maker can verify in their own workshop and contain no temperature or humidity statistics for the city.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me; two longer reviews are shortened with an ellipsis and otherwise unedited.

Figures verified September 2026: fragrance-oil prices — Eucalyptus Spearmint 15 g ₹68.44, 50 g ₹212.40, 100 g ₹354, 500 g ₹1,652, 1 kg ₹3,068; Jasmine Fragrance Oil 15 g ₹103, 50 g ₹230, 100 g ₹430, 500 g ₹1,961, 1 kg ₹3,923; Blue Ocean 50 g ₹247, 100 g ₹495, 500 g ₹2,478, 1 kg ₹4,956 (15 g sold out); British Rose 1 kg ₹3,068; Zesty Lemon 1 kg ₹3,400; Sandalwood 100 g ₹502.68; Vetiver 500 g ₹2,900 with the 1 kg sold out; Saffron Cedarwood 500 g ₹2,584.20 and 1 kg ₹6,867.60. Other lines — Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40, Eco Soy CSI 400 1 kg ₹399, Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 10 for ₹59 (₹5.90 each), Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram pack of 10 ₹318.60 (₹31.86 each), Candle Dye Liquid Blue 15 g ₹236, Pen Thermometer ₹354, Candle Making Weighing Scale ₹354, Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100 (₹2.50 each). Six-shelf figure of ₹1,579 = ₹399 + ₹354 + ₹318.60 + ₹236 + ₹212.40 + ₹59. Parcel subtotal ₹1,674.40 and total ₹2,382.40 as itemised. Per-candle maths assumes fragrance load as a percentage of finished candle weight, so a 70 g votive at 8% is 64.4 g wax + 5.6 g oil; a Eucalyptus Spearmint votive at ₹96.73 = ₹32.68 wax (64.4 g at ₹0.5074/g) + ₹23.79 oil (5.6 g at the 50 g rung's ₹4.248/g) + ₹5.90 wick + ₹31.86 jar + ₹2.50 sticker. Catalogue counts are of the 105 fragrance-oil listings in live stock data and the 107 saved fragrance product pages: 95 listings with at least one pack in stock; rung availability 49 at 15 g, 78 at 50 g, 91 at 100 g, 74 at 500 g and 86 at 1 kg, with 48 listings in stock at all five; 81 pages stating a candle or usage percentage, 88 stating a full top–heart–base pyramid, 62 stating a vanillin or discolouration position, 18 stating a numeric vanillin content, 18 stating a measured flash point, 32 stating only the "> 93°C" threshold, 56 stating none, 2 mentioning an SDS, and zero stating a shelf life, expiry, storage instruction, lab report, CAS number or MOQ. Stated loads and cures are the product pages' own and are formulation guidance, not regulatory limits. Diwali 2026 is 8 November 2026; other festivals are named without dates. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
