Soy Wax Supplier for Candle Making in India
Check the published specification, buy the same wax small, and make sure the next bag matches. CSI publishes loads for three of its container soy waxes and prices every pack online; where a spec is missing we say so.
One line: how to vet a soy wax supplier: the spec sheet, pack range and paperwork to demand.
Everyday container wax: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (flakes), ₹507.40 per kg.

What to confirm before your first 10 kg
Check Why it matters Where CSI stands
Stated fragrance load Sets your formula ceiling Published for CSI 464 (10%), Chunks (13%), CSI 468 (13%); not published for Pearl, Eco Soy 400 or Soy Pillar Wax
Pour / fragrance-add temperature Repeatable results Published for CSI 468 (58–60°C pour) and Eco Soy 400 (add at 80–90°C); CSI 464's page lists 80–90°C for both melt and pour
Form Weighing and melting speed Flakes (464, 468), chunks (Chunks, Eco 400, Pillar), pearls (Pearl)
Shelf life How much you can safely hold Published as 60 months (cool, dry) for CSI 464 and CSI 468
Pack range Test small, scale the same wax 500 g or 1 kg to 10 kg on most; 50 kg on Pearl; Eco 400 to 5 kg
Published prices No quote-chasing for normal sizes Every pack is priced online
GST invoice Input credit On request
Batch consistency The next bag behaves like this one Ask for batch details on WhatsApp for large orders; keep your own batch log
Where our own pages are thin. Pearl, Eco Soy 400 and Soy Pillar Wax do not publish a fragrance load; CSI 464's page gives 80–90°C as both melt point and pour temperature, which reads as a heating range rather than a melt point; and CSI 464's page mentions a 25 kg format that is not a listed pack. Until those are fixed, test at 8% and ask on WhatsApp for anything you need in writing.

The test that settles it

1
Buy the smallest pack of the same wax1 kg or 500 g of exactly the wax you would buy in bulk.
2
Pour your real candleYour jar, oil, wick and load.
3
Cure and burnScore top, adhesion, cold and hot throw.
4
Buy the bulk pack and repeat onceThe second bag should match the first. If it does not, that is the supplier test failed.

The first-delivery inspection: what to check when a CSI bag arrives

Vetting a supplier does not end at checkout. The bag that arrives is the evidence, and your first delivery is where you set the baseline that every later bag is measured against.

Before you open it

Weigh the sealed bag on your own scale and note the figure. You are not accusing anyone; you are recording what arrived. Photograph the bag and whatever label it carries, and keep the photo with the invoice. If you asked for a GST invoice, confirm it is there before you file the order as complete. Missing paperwork is far easier to sort out in the first week than at the end of the financial year.

When you open it

Check the form matches the product page: flakes for CSI 464 and CSI 468, chunks for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, Eco Soy CSI 400 and Soy Pillar Wax, pearls for Natural Soy Pearl Wax. Note the colour and smell in your own words. These notes will not tell you whether a wax is good. They tell you, three orders from now, whether a bag is different.

Turn the thin spots into written questions

Where CSI's own pages are thin, send the question in writing and keep the reply. Three are worth sending on WhatsApp. For Pearl, Eco Soy 400 or Soy Pillar Wax: what fragrance load do you recommend for this wax? For CSI 464: the page lists 80–90°C for both melt point and pour temperature, so what is the melt point, and what pour temperature do you recommend? For a large order: can you tell me the batch of the bag you are sending? A reply in a chat is a record. A remembered phone call is not.

Keep a receiving log

One line per bag is enough: date received, product, weight on your scale, form, batch if given, and the result of the first pour from it. It takes a minute. When a candle misbehaves months later, that line is the difference between a guess and an answer.

Mistake: tipping a new bag into the last of an old one. If the next candles change, you will never know which bag caused it. Finish one bag first, or keep the remainder labelled and separate.
If something looks wrong
Message +91 7397976926 with your photos and your scale reading the day the bag arrives, before you pour from it. A problem reported with evidence on day one is a conversation. A problem found after 50 candles is a loss.

Argue against interest
Buy the wax your candle needs, not the bag that looks professional.
We would sell more by telling you to buy 10 kg. On most of our waxes it is not cheaper per kilogram, and wax you cannot use before summer is a storage problem.
Price the candle, not the kilogram.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We publish every pack price, so every per-kilogram and per-candle figure here can be checked against the product pages — including the ones that show a bigger bag is not cheaper.

Prices are taken from live CSI stock in September 2026. Where a product page does not publish a specification, this guide says so rather than filling the gap.

Figures verified September 2026 (CSI live pricing): Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (flakes): ₹260.00 / 500 g, ₹507.40 / 1 kg, ₹2,537.00 / 5 kg, ₹5,074.00 / 10 kg; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks: ₹299.00 / 500 g, ₹599.00 / 1 kg, ₹2,995.00 / 5 kg, ₹5,999.00 / 10 kg; Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 (flakes): ₹325.00 / 500 g, ₹650.00 / 1 kg, ₹3,185.00 / 5 kg, ₹6,370.00 / 10 kg. Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) ₹5.90 each; Thick (C2) ₹9.44 each. Microcrystalline and Vybar usage rates are as stated on their product pages. Collection counts: Candle Wax 15, Fragrance Oils 93, Candle Wicks 7, Containers 81, Moulds 62, Dyes 25.

Assumptions: Fragrance load 8% of total candle weight, so wax is 92% of the fill (a 200 g candle = 184 g wax + 16 g oil). Order plans add a 5% wastage allowance (10% where stated for festive buffers). "Cheapest listed packs" is the lowest-cost combination of listed pack sizes, preferring fewer bags when prices tie within a few rupees. Candle counts are rounded down. Costs are core materials only and exclude jar, label, packaging, labour, freight and GST unless stated. Wax stated fragrance maximums are the wax maker's formulation limits, not regulatory limits. Pack sizes not listed on the store (2, 20, 25, 100 kg) are shown as combinations of listed packs; larger quantities are quoted on WhatsApp. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November.
